Modern AU where Smeagol is Frodo's rescue cat that he loves to peices.

Frodo is going through a really hard time in his life, since his parental figure left when he turned 18 (plus a history of abandonment issues). He thinks if he can love this horrible cat into behaving, it will prove that he's not the problem, not the reason everyone leaves!

Progress is slow going. Smeagol hisses and scratches at him and all his friends, especially Sam, (who personally thinks Frodo has nothing to prove, and is upset that he thinks he does, and is definitely not jealous of how much Frodo loves this stupid cat).

But sometimes he's actually a very nice cat, who even sits on his lap and purs!

He thought Smeagol was a naturally hairless cat, but he's actually just a very diseased cat who lost all his hair. Also he bit Frodo particularly badly on the finger and it had to be amputated. And then Smeagol had to be put down. And this is a horrible story idea.

Jason's reasons for trying to hurt bruce and doing all he did when he was pit mad- red hood stuff? Insecurity. All the Robins grapple with it. That fear they aren't good enough. They weren't enough. Jason? He realizes the reason Dick “hated” him was because he was jealous of losing robin- of having it be given away to Jason. And now Jason feels the same. Tim has the mantle. Bruce gave it to him… when he was dead. Bruce never cared. Is whats running through his head. He died, he failed, he wasn't good enough to live, to save himself. And Bruce saw it, and replaced him. Its all the insecurity.
