Give me tomarry au where Tom is obsessed with the boy that saves him. It happens during summer of his second year, when the sky rain downs fire and when little Tom had no idea what was a happening.

It happens when the man with scar grabs him and apparates away to a place he remembers vividly. The cold, dark, and damp place where people were loud. And it was hard to breathe but the man held onto him. The man, who would later walk him back to his orphanage, who would tell him he is sorry.

The man who wore cracked glasses, the man who looked no older than fifteen himself — now that Tom looked at him properly. The boy whose clothes were larger than him — and the way he smiled at Tom (pained, and torn). Tom would remember him. Because how can someone forget those eyes. Those avada eyes that glowed as the sky rained down fire that drowned everything. The scar that looked like thunder.

Tom would remember him disappearing after delivering him to the orphanage. The person who saved him as little Tom nearly died because he didn't know bombs were coming, no one told him (he just returned from Hogwarts).

That day little Tom meets a boy no older than fifteen. That day, little Tom learns about shelters that he can go to and that he regrets not asking for the boy who save his life's name. That day Tom makes a decision that he would find him. Find the person with eyes like trapped thunder and brittle smiles. He would find him and not let him go. Even if it takes him a thousand years to do so.

Having lots of thoughts about Corvus and the fact that this is the first time we’ve seen him on a promotional poster AND that he has been regaining lost screen-time from season 4 and 5

Corvus has the least stake in the game as far as interpersonal relationships goes he is pretty separated from most of everyone.

Soren’s dad tortured and imprisoned Rayla’s dad and kidnapped Zym, Rayla’s dad killed Ezran’s and Callum’s dad, Zym’s dad killed Aanya’s, Ezran’s, and Callum’s moms in a 3 for one meal, Callum’s and Ezran’s dad lead the mission where Aanya’s mothers were killed, Ezran’s and Callum’s dad killed Zym’s dad, Callum is dating the daughter of his father’s murderer, and it just keeps getting more complicated from there.

But Corvus?

We dont even really know anything about him. He grew up in the woods on the borderlands, he was in the military at a young age and was even considered a veteran at 20 years old, he’s smart, strong, quick on his feet, he’s a bit awkward socially at times, he’s worked espionage, and he’s a really good baker.

But we know next nothing of his personal life, we dont even know if he has parents or any family to speak of aside from Amaya and Gren who have known him the longest. Its implied he met Soren and Claudia in passing in the past but thats as close as it gets.

Corvus is so widely detached from the chaos of everything going on with all the other characters whose past and connections are all so complicated

And now we get a poster where Corvus is quite literally breaking through the title, his weapon pushes past everything as he stares steadily ahead with a clear mind

Corvus is the key to helping break the cycle

hate that people try SOOO hard to push the narrative that taking testosterone won't make someone angry or horny or whatever. I don't know how to explain how it feels like being misgendered to be held to the expectation of being a pure and quiet saint in my transition (ie societal expectations of women) but fuck that. testosterone made me loud and pissed off and I cranked it like 13 times a day and guess what that's fucking normal and it's still my choice and no one gets to take away my autonomy for it. yeah I got stinkier and hairier and more bold in my assertions, but that's not a default negative thing, and it's not something I should have to pretend doesn't happen for people to respect my right to transition. my autonomy has nothing to do with my purity. jesus
