THEN i shall post' or etc. etc. lol. NOT even taking into account the many days #I just genuinely and physically sick and it's not even a mental thing. I just physically dont feel like sitting at the computer lol..#ANYWAY.. trying to get back into it. trying to get a business bank account.. make a proper paypal so i can start selling sculptures again.#selling clothes and sculptures.. posting about such things then of course as one must. etc... chanting to hype up and motivate myself lol #But yes. this is my favorite outfit out of the bunch so I am posting it first I guess.. maybe others later..#Also the purple dress says its from shein. which I've heard is bad fast fashion stuff. but maybe okay since its second hand? watched the 2004 punisher movie yesterday with pixie and honestly i had fun 👍 some stuff was good some stuff was eh some completely irrelevant stuff made me mildly annoyed. but most of all it was funny and they had frank hang around with his tits out for multiple scenes so i mean how could i not have a great time tbh

the sheer amount of headcanons i produced while i was drawing this is insane

I promise after this post I'll stop hating on the Grammys...but how the fuck did Billie not win a single one this year? You're telling me Billie fucking Eilish with one of her best albums to date didn't win a single Grammy for which she was nominated in seven categories. Like baby, it's Billie Eilish. Like her music or not, it's unobjectionably good. There was literal crack in Birds of a Feather. Her voice is like fucking windchimes. And her album was massive this year. They snubbed my baby. :'(

i had a dream the limbus crew had to go get info on a new distortion that popped up in a romani village in some corner of the backstreets and they had to go stealth, couldnt just fight their way to the distortion for some reason; they had to fit in. and since gregor is the last sinner, n13, he got last pick for outfits and he had to go in this. his mantits were out.

little babylon 5 things I appreciate that I don't think anyone else does: the symbol for Medlab properly references the staff of asclepius (with a spacey twist), not the caduceus that most people use nowadays.

the caduceus, the staff with two intertwining snakes and wings, was not originally a symbol of medicine or doctors. in the Roman mythology it originates from, it was a symbol of Hermes, who is mostly associated with commerce, markets, trade, and negotiations.

the rod of Asclepius - a staff with a single snake surrounding it - is a symbol of the Roman god of medicine, the titular Asclepius.

in modern times we confuse the two, partially because they are pretty similar symbols and have always been mixed up in various ways, but in modern times the confusion was popularized because the US military erroneously used the caduceus as symbols for their medical units back in the early 1900s and we've kind of just been stumbling along with that ever since, even though people have tried to correct it and gotten it updated in a lot of places, but the caduceus looks cooler so people just keep using it when it's just incorrect

part of me wants to just let it go like, yeah, symbols and meanings change over time. this is a thing that has happened for millenia; symbols evolve, get corrupted, have their context changed, whatever (the swastika is a very good example of this; it was used all around the world for many different things, and now it's just universally associated with nazism). there's just something so cosmically poignant about how we've very recently started pretending that a symbol of commerce is a symbol of medicine that's hard for me to resist getting mad at

#btw once you know the caduceus/asclepius thing you can never fucking unsee it. it is EVERYWHERE. people use the caduceus wrong ALL THE TIME #anyways the medlab logo is one of my favorite fictional organization logo designs ever #both for its HISTORICAL ACCURACY thank you whichever bab5 artist actually did research or knew things #but also just as a design. its so simple and perfect for everything it stands for. says a lot with just a little. 10/10 fucking fantastic #also at this point i just associate it with franklin and he is hands-down my favorite character

oh the legion comics are REALLY good actually. holy moly!!!

#joeys book was my favorite hands down #soo excited for the susie one to come out i know it'll ruin me #as always i care very little for frank and julie. they're both insufferable so they're perfect for eachother <3 #but i really enjoy how the comic writes them #they manage to write frank in such a way where hes unbelievably annoying #and you can still find him sympathetic in how he was treated and abused in the foster system #tbh i'd like to reread julies tome entries at some point #its not that i dislike them necessarily #i just think bhvrs writing of the legion is super inconsistent #additionally. the reveal that the entity incident was fairly early into the legions career #(i think frank mentions they've been doing it for a few weeks?)#is. chilling to me #watching joey get fired slowly snowball into a tragedy is just. god.#i went on about this for a while MY BAD i will make an organized post on the legion at some point #despite my issues with their lore at points i still love them a lot #the central tragedy of the legion is that they are stupid teenagers and also peer pressure #dbd
