Elrond is the Lord of Rivendell, but I feel like that responsibility is shared with Erestor and Glorfindel. Elrond, who cares for the valley and its inhabitants. Glorfindel, who protects them from any darkness that might threaten them. Erestor, who keeps everything running seamlessly.

They're very sun moon & stars coded and I love that for them!

There in Nargothrond Finrod made his home with many of his people, and he was named in the tongue of the Dwarves Felagund, Hewer of Caves; and that name he bore thereafter until his end. But Finrod Felagund was not the first to dwell in the caves beside the River Narog.

Moodboard for my fic: A Patchwork Family

Summary:

Trying to build a new civilian life for himself Maedhros gets an unexpected call which turns everything on its head. His estranged cousin-in-law Elwing has died and left behind two small children. When asked if he and his family could look after them Maedhros is hesitant, but this might actually be the new start he needs, whilst rediscovering old parts of himself and wondering where along the way Maitimo was lost. A story of new beginnings, finding family and love out of the ashes of old lives.
