Self-use Sims 3 CC Tutorials List
Here is a list of tutorials from which I learn to convert/create sims 3 cc in a few months (and as a poor English speaker). I think it might help someone who also wants to try making things for sims 3 but doesn't know where to start, though it's been 15 years from the game release and even Inzoi is coming hahah.
The list covers objects, clothes, hairs and eyes. I know there're lots of tutorials not listed here, that's because I haven't tried them in my projects by hand. But The list will be updated with new things I learn. Most tutorials are in English. Thanks to all these creators for sharing their precious knowledge!
Sorry for the miserable format, cuz I wrote them in Patreon and paste here. You can also read it there, free of course.

so sick of clicking the CC button on youtube videos and seeing "english(auto generated)" if you have enough money to pay editors or your video is like only 20 minutes long you can fucking afford to give your video subtitles. its so easy to clear that bar. fucking cinemasins does it. cinemasins puts their subtitles IN the video. do you wanna be inferior to cinemasins ??? huh???? do you ?????

Sims Get To Know Me
Thank you @damseljamsel for the tag <3.
Because English is not my first language, and I'm still learning it, I hope you don't mind if any of my words sound weird.
What’s your favorite Sims death?
My favorite one is probably dying from a meteorite. It’s unique and so nonsense that I find it fascinating.
Alpha CC or MaxisMatch?
Maxis Mix, but I lean more toward Alpha cc since I like the realism vibe.
Do you cheat your sims weight?
Nope. I like how realistic when Sims gain weight. It comforts me in a weird way.
Do you move objects?
Of course!
Favorite Mod?
Whickedwhim. Aside from the obvious snu snu stuff, I like its menstruation cycle and pose player. Realistic Birth mod is also awesome.
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack?
Get to work
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing
aLive ( I don’t know which one is correct}
Who's your favorite sim that you've made?
Let’s say it’s Dominique. I never made a masculine male sim successfully before, so I like how he turns out okay.
Have you made a simself?
Nah, I’m suck at making sim in cas and I’m too self-conscious to do that.
Which is your favorite EA hair color?
Hazel
Favorite EA hair?
The rainbow hair
Favorite life stage?
Infant is my favorite one right now. They are so adorable with their wiggly movements.
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?
Gameplay and also decorating.
Are you a CC creator? No. I wish I have that talent though
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? Not yet. I wish I could be more close with mutual here. you guys are so cool with your sims pics and stories.
Do you have any sims merch? Nope
Do you have a YouTube for sims? Nope
How has your "Sims style" changed throughout your years of playing?
I started playing Sims Challenges last year. Before that, I only made Sims, decorated lots, and completed Sims' Lifetime Wishes and Aspirations.
What's your origin id? Simsdastra like my simblr name
Who’s your favorite CC creator? myshunosun, simstrouble. martassimsbook, sourlemonsimblr, studio-papillon, fluttereyes, johziii, wanderingsimsfinds for sims 3.
How long have you had simblr?
I have had Tumblr account for 10 years but just turned it into Simblr a year ago.
How do you edit your pictures? Gshade does most of the parts. I love to try different presets.
What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? Cottage Living for sims 4 and Showtime for sims 3.
I'd like to tag @blueflame-sims @simbico @papermint-airplane @pisces-king @nessysims @pitchyzzsim @pis3update @anamoon63 @brannewjoint sorry if you have done it already.

Hi! I’m writing a comic where one main character is Jewish and the other main character (her ex/love interest) isn’t and at a point he’s near-fatally injured and I was wondering how/if she would pray for his recovery? (Also kinda unrelated but I do think it’s important, if a Jewish character is speaking or thinking and they say/think god would it be spelt like “G-d”? Asking because Jewish creators I follow on things like tiktok and youtube spell it like that in the CC of their videos)
Jewish character prays for recovery of another character, and the spelling of God/G-d
The healing prayer is called Misheberach and here is a text:
Mi Shebeirach - Prayer for Healing
You don't need to bleep out the “o” when you write God. We do that (or some of us do, anyway -- I don't bc to me the word 'god' is not the same as The Name but just an English word, but obviously I'm in the minority here) because according to our beliefs if you write the name of God on a piece of paper it sanctifies the paper and that turns into a whole thing bc that means when it's time to dispose of the paper you can't just recycle it you have to give it a proper burial and who wants to deal with that every five seconds, right? So someone thinking that in their heads doesn't do anything to any physical object and also if those aren't your beliefs then you don't need to change the way you write.
--Shira
Agree with this, also if she usually says the weekday Amidah there is a part where you can insert a prayer for the sick:
Specified text above reads:
HEALTH AND HEALING
Heal us, HASHEM - Then we will be healed;* save us - then we will be saved, for You are our praise. Bring complete recovery for all our ailments, for You are God, King, the faithful and compassionate Healer. Blessed are you, HASHEM, Who heals the sick of His people Israel.
* At this point one may interject a prayer for one who is ill:
May it be Your will, HASHEM, my God, and the God of my forefathers, that You quickly send a complete recovery from heaven, spiritual healing and physical healing to the patient [Name] son/daughter of [mother’s name] among the other patients of Israel.
--Shoshi
The Mi Sheberach is usually a communal prayer, but people have been using it in settings like you are describing for a long time, possibly since its creation.
I have prayed for the recovery of two secular Jewish people in my life. Once I did it without asking, and once having discussed it beforehand. Now, your character's love interest isn't Jewish, so things are a little different, but I can tell you that when I prayed without asking, I felt guilty. As though I had taken the person's agency away when it came to religious decisions. I spoke to the person after (it was my husband, and it was a hospital-room panic move on my part), let him know what I had done, and apologized for not thinking to ask first. It turned out that it was fine with him, but he appreciated me discussing it with him, since he is secular, and it's important not to just decide religious things for people.
When another secular family member became ill, I had the opportunity to ask if he wanted me to say Mi Sheberach for him, and he agreed, so I took that on guilt-free. When dealing with issues of religious consent, and interfaith (or differing observance) relationships, feelings can get complicated. Just something to keep in mind as you write your scene.
-- Dierdra
Commentary
@terulakimban said: The above are relatively formal options. Other things that are possible: saying or reading tehillim (Psalms) while thinking about the injured (this one is a common custom) and saying his name on Thursday/Friday while separating and burning her challah (or asking someone observant enough to follow both those traditions to do so). Those are more “while he’s in the hospital” type things. If you need a “he is bleeding out in front of her and she is freaking out and defaults to prayer”-type of prayer, another option is a very angry potentially one-sided conversation with G-d, either in her head or out loud.
@captainlordauditor said: I personally will only tell/ask about saying Mi Sheberach for someone if I'm not sure what their Hebrew name is. For nonJews and people I know well I'll just say it. Asking feels like I'm trying to make it about me or perform my religion for their image of me and not for Gd.
@fluencca said: I'd also like to pitch a "tehil" or two... i.e., psalms. lots of people read psalms as a generic "pray for someone sick", while they're in surgery or whateve, rather than read "mi she'berach" over and over again. There are 150 psalms, so it's also a calming act that takes time and serves as a ditraction (they're very poetic, as well, and the right psalm can resonate very meaningfully)

Xisuma's HC 999 QNA
Questions and Answers not word for word sometimes, mostly summarized to try and keep it short
my comments will be in brackets [this is me commenting on something]
1. Hey Xisuma, how are you doing?
I'm doing great and looking forward to answering these questions
2. What are your favorite projects you've worked on this season?
Designing the towers and the redstone for the potion brewing [brewering?]
3. Any particular CC you want to join HC?
No, though there are many amazing creators and we haven't recruited in a long time
4. Of all former Hermits, anyone in particular you miss having around?
I really miss Biffa, I have a lot of fond memories with him, we've been good friends for years, over 10 years now actually, and you know we both started on hermitcraft season 1 together and so I have many good memories with him.
Biffa's reply:
[🥺🥺🥺😭]
5. How do you stay motivated to work on a project for long periods of time?
Having an audience and knowing others will enjoy it too
6. Will you add a 0 to the start of all previous episodes?
No, too much work, all future episodes have 4 digits
7. Who hosts hermitcraft server?
Ourselves, no minecraft host, but have a dedicated box
8. Thoughts on making the first minecraft let's play to hit 1000 episodes?
He brings up assumptions and brings up that a German youtuber hit 1k years ago, and the likelyhood that there's a lot more yters that hit 1k before him [The youtuber's name is Gronkh, and is all in German]
9. Are you real?
Of course no, I'm a figment of your imagination
[this is a joke, he is real, you are real, and you are not imagining things]
10. Any more music covers like Ride the lightning from Metallica?
He wants and likes playing guitar, but he doesn't like recording and editing videos, so unlikely to make more videos on it.
11. About how long to find and plan out things before a build?
Varies based on builds. Planning things first, in his experience, always turns out better than winging it
12. PG Tips or Yorkshire Tea? [PG Tips is a brand]
Always Twinings
[Alice Leiper, in the comment section, jokes that this, Xisuma not drinking Yorkshire Tea, is the reason Biffa hasn't returned to Hermitcraft. Yorkshire Tea being Biffa's favorite tea.
My personal favorite is earl grey, but Imma be trying English Breakfast and Yorkshire Tea soon enough]
13. What do you and the hermits talk about in meetings?
Hermitcraft server and casual chitchats, what we do on the server and plan out minigames
14. Do you feel you have a responsibility to influence younger viewers with good morals and remind them this is all fun and games?
Something he wants to do rather than a responsibility?
15. How much stone would a stone pick pick if a stone pick could pick stone? [this is a play on the tongue twister about a wood chuck chucking wood]

18. Will we see Evil X return in an way? I noticed that he hasn't appeared in this season at all [🥺😭 PLEASE X I"M BEGGING YOU]
"You might do, you might not."

[:(((((((]
"Not a shut door [meaning it isn't a definitive no]"

[if you wanna hear biffa and xisuma do an american accent, see Xisuma's Vinyl Fantasy II episode 4 at about 18:50-19:00 for it, highly recommend the series btw]
25. How to pronounce Xisuma?
Shishwam-Bam or Shishwammy
[pretty sure this is a joke, I don't think this is the real pronunciation, he's said before that because it's a made up word, there is no pronunciation

Everyone
28. To what extent do you feel you have to be a role model and has it ever hindered you?

Doesn't like the term "role model" and wants to inform and educate and let them figure it out for themselves rather than putting on a pedestal
29. Did you feel you would become a minecraft youtuber when you were young?
No, because minecraft didn't exist then
30. HC Server Specs [oh void, no, it's gonna take awhile to list it down, I know before writing this]
doesn't have name of hardware on hand, but:
looked for fastest preforming single threaded cpu, and overclocked it
[single threaded means, for example, a long list of tasks is done one at a time, as opposed to multi threaded, where multiple tasks can be done at once.
overclocked cpu "runs at a higher speed and voltage than it was design to," making it "run harder and faster"]

Current is 1.5 years old, last is 8 years and want the current to last as long, so no
[he mentioned in one of his streams is that is phone is somewhat old and wants that one to last too so I get the feeling that he's the type of person to not jump onto trends/care about the "new thing"]
34. Why don't you show your face?
"Unfortunately my webcam is broken at the moment, so until I fix it, which I probably won't, there's no face cam"
[this is a joke, I mean, he could have a broken webcam, but he doesn't plan on ever showing his face so... yeah
though he did make a joke face reveal years ago, it's on xisumatwo if you want to see it, just search xisuma face reveal and you'll see it. the thumbnail has the ghostface mask in it]

salad is one of his favorite meals
47. How do you deal with burnout or lack of inspiration?
main thing is keep moving forward, always will have days where you're inspired and some not so much

I'm just now getting into Contenders, what do I need to know? What's the tea?
Ok I was going to just have a jokey answer like “haha what is overwatch contenders, blizzard sure never heard of them” but legit my body had a visceral response that refuses to let me fuck this up so here is a too long info dump: Overwatch Contenders is the official Tier 2 (T2) league for Blizzard’s overwatch esports. It is split into 6 regions: NA, SA, EU, CN, PAC, KR, AUS. (North America, South America, Europe, China, Pacific, Korea, Australia). Each hosts games based on their own time zone, have their own schedules etc etc. Liquidpedia has all the most updated info on schedules , standings and players Supposedly it’s the next step down from Overwatch League in terms of the path to pro, it’s suppose to be the direct pipeline of talent to OWL but lets be real, other than Boston Uprising, OWL hardly ever scouts outside NA and KR contenders. in 2020, the format of Contenders have changed drastically from previous years, its alot of stuff that im not going to go into about points and how teams can come up from Overwatch Trials to keep the path to pro dynamic but it also kinda fucked the broadcasting for most of the season so :/
-----------------------------------
2020 stream links (youtube) :
English Streams of all regions here . Contenders KR in Korean can be found here. Contenders SA in Portuguese can be found here . Contenders PAC in Taiwanese can be found here . I used to watch CN in mando on cc but they have since switched streaming platforms and I have no idea where to find it now sorry.
Previous years were streamed on twitch and vods can still be found on there:
Eng / SA (esp) / KR / PAC: TW | TH / CN Boardcastgg did English language streams for almost all regions in 2018 and 2019 and they also have loads of vods review and t3 tournament coverage ! go give them some support !
--------------------------------------
I think if you want a very good intro to All The Regions, 2019′s Contenders Gauntlet tournament that had all the best teams from all regions is a good starting point. It was a REALLY good tournament from PAC region underdogs to Atlanta Academy and KR’s Element Mystic beating the living daylights out of each other.
I personally watch alot of PAC and AUS and I highly enjoy them. I would suggest KR for Extremely High Quality Overwatch and CN for the Crazy Comp Aggressive Overwatch. According to @sayasurprise who religiously watches EU, it has the potential to be great if their players didnt get funnelled into NA at an alarming rate. NA is A Mess they literally had to do a 5 way tie breaker yesterday? WTF? I’m glad you’re looking into contenders ! any bit of support for T2 helps. Condenters is truly a dying scene, there are barely any prize money, and even then blizzard hardly ever cough up. T2 players and orgs are struggling with not enough resources and not enough coverage and just not enough anything - and the teams with no orgs are even doing even worse. ( I was going to talk about academy teams aka teams sponsored by an OWL org, but for 2020 almost all the OWL team got rid of their academy team :pensive: )

If you think Ultra Instinct Goku has gotten every kind of makeover, you will want to think again. After the big power-up debuted last October, Dragon Ball fans fell for the silvery state, and it didn’t take long for fan-art to pop up. And, in a move that surprises no one, the mod-lovers over at Minecraft have given the form a go for themselves.
So, for those of you ready to obliterate a Creeper with an Ultra Instinct Kamehameha, you will want to pay attention.
Over on Youtube, the channel Dead Hunter CC has given fans a look at how Ultra Instinct Goku can look within Minecraft. As you can see above, a video starring the character can be found above, and it looks like Dead Hunter went all-out with their anime recreation.
As you can see, the Youtube tutorial went so far as to recreate the Tournament of Power’s arena for Ultra Instinct Goku. When it comes to the character itself, Goku looks spot-on thanks to his blue undershirt, torn orange pants, and grey-black hair. The mod also uses scripted enchantments that gives Goku a silver sheen whenever he moves. The aura is meant to represent the Ki energy that surrounds Goku in his Ultra Instinct and Ultra Instinct Sign state. So, you can see some serious work went into this modification.
Oh, and you can also fire an Ultra Instinct Kamehameha. Now, you just need a Jiren mod around to test that powerful attack on.
If you want to download the Dragon Ball Super script for yourself, Dead Hunter did make his mod available via MediaFire. You can check out the link here.
Are you surprised Dragon Ball Super's newest form has been brought to Minecraft? Let me know in the comments or hit me up on Twitter @MeganPetersCB to talk all things comics, k-pop, and anime!

Sooo you've arrived at the post where I'm lining up some of the alternatives you can use instead of adfly! Missed my first post? It's HERE! Let's get to it shall we? =) before we continue I'd like to express my gratitude to a group of people who helped me out in lots of ways! <333 English is not my first language so their help has been highly appreciated!
Patreon.
In my opinion the best method to monetize CC if you want to be sure you get something in return for your time and effort! Patreon has become a widely accepted way in the community to donate money towards some of their fav creators. As a creator, it does not cost you a dime in advance! Their fees will be extracted from the donations you received. I am very pleased with what you get on their site! You can go all out; upload HD images, video's, create goals you can reach with you patron's, etc. The interface is easy to use and the best part is (to me) that you don't have to spend any time worrying about collecting payments, etc. It's all taken care of. You have to find a workflow, balance that works best for you and your followers. Some creators release their cc after patreon every week, 2 weeks, and some once per month. This is completely up to you. I personally try to release stuff not later than 2 weeks after Patreon. This is what works best for my personally.
NOTE: Patreon Exclusive CC tends to get re-uploaded by other people since it's locked behind a paywall then. It's also against EA tou but hey... it's all up to you! Best way to avoid all this (In my opinion!) is to be transparent about when you will release your work and don't go exclusive.
PayPal / Ko-Fi.
a completely different way of trying to get something back for your time and effort since it's an optional donation. I used (still use) PayPal a lot in the past / present and it's a very safe way of getting something back. Ko-Fi is very similar and friends tell me lots of positive things about it.I use both of them a lot to donate to creators I love! I really hope I can expand my donating ways to Patreon as well! I know that it is a non-committal way of monetizing CC which can make it less attractive for some creators to use but the donations I got from when I started with it (when I was a smaller simblr) till this day far exceed the $0,02485 dollars you get per click (highest payout rate, USA) on Adfly.
I personally do not donate to a creator that uses adfly-only links. My mindset behind that is; you're apparently satisfied with the funds you raise with Adfly. I'm not going to support you on that. What I mean with this sentence is; creating goodwill towards your followers is sooo much more valuable! It has definitely paid off for me, from when I was a smaller simblr, till now.
Adsense.
Last but most definitely not least! Adsense can have 2 scenario's depending on your tech levels I will explain both of them;
You're unable to code your own website (me too!). I mean, I know html a little but I'm far from able to create my own website! If you're like me, you most likely have to purchase a package at one of these companies; Wix, Wordpress. There could be more options out there but i'm only talking these about 2 since I have experience with those. You need to purchase a paid package to be able to run Adsense on your website, the free packages do not allow you to do that. The fees are very different between Wix and Wordpress! I believe that Wordpress is cheaper(!) than Wix. I've been at Wix from the beginning and moving a website out of their company is made really hard for customers (to prevent them from leaving of course) + I would loose my URL. That being said; Wix has a drag and drop html editor that lets you customize your site endlessly. Wordpress however provides better care for wordpress sites via plugins etc. Pro's and con's you have to decide whats best for you!
NOTE: Blogger is also an option. I have no personal experience with it unfortunately but loooong ago I looked into it and i thought it also has a free option + running Adsense? This is speculation at best! I'm not sure about this! Though it's worth mentioning it. Google is your friend in this case =) Add-on infoby Jennie, thank you! <3 Adsense for Blogger is free, but you need to fit the criterias set by Google to be able to use it (Blogger is owned by Google).
You're a solid coder that can code your own website. I've looked into this in the past and to me it seems that you only have to purchase a domain in that case. With Adobe Dreamweaver or other coding softwares for websites you then create your own website and include the main code for Adsense. Along with the codes for the ads itself (where you want them, which size, which sort of ads, etc)
From this point it's the same for both scenarios! To be eligible for the program your site needs to be around for a few months and have generated some traffic (visitors)! I don't know the exact numbers Adsense expect to see before letting you into their program. I also read on their forums back then it depends on more factors than just pageviews. It depends on what kind of website you have, what kind of content it hosts, etc. But when I started I had maybe 2000 followers on Tumblr? So its definitely not 100,000 pageviews in a month or something like that. Sucks that I installed my Analytics account only a year ago otherwise I could look up what my monthly traffic was back in the days. Bottom line of Adsense; In the long term this will generate income even if you're not releasing stuff everyday. Which is why I am so fond of Adsense. You need to put in so time and effort + money in my case but it has paid me back every penny I put into it! some months I generate 50 bucks and sometimes more or less. It depends on your own activity and factors you can't always control. For example; I just saw (in Analytics) that my Chablis Coat Product Page has spiked yesterday. This can be due to; Tumblr picking up on my Chablis Coat post or someone on youtube doing a CC haul video. These are estimated guesses tho! In 99% of the cases I have no clue why something gets flooded with visitors.
Some perks of NOT using Adfly / Short.e / Shorteners
Create sustainable bond with you followers for the long term.
Increase chances of people donating / supporting your work.
Increase your download count.
Increase site visitation levels & possible Adsense revenues.
Indirectly; increase you're followers count.
which leads to; more people who will likely support you / donate.
this upwards cycle does not have an end to it if you make the right choices! points 2. till 7. can repeat itself endlessly.
Meaning; every positive change you make affects the next step in this cycle. Same as it works for a downwards spiral I guess. One thing for sure; Adfly users won't experience the perks above to its full extend than users that don't use it. Adfly stagnates blog growth in general.
Sorry for the long post but I really hope I was able to give you guys some insights on other alternatives for Adfly / Short.e / Shorteners in general. Most importantly; it's all up to you! Do as you see fit. All I wanted to say with these 2 posts is, try to be mindful to your followers when you make a decision. Only they made it possible for you to monetize your CC in the first place!

So what’s the queer anthem? I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and so far the best answer I have is this one vocaloid song that showed up in my youtube recommendations last month and quickly became a favourite of mine. The song is villain by teniwoha and I listen to it on repeat. Turn on CC for the English lyrics.
Why is this the queer anthem? For one thing, it is very obviously about being LGBT+. But the thing that really makes me love it is that I have absolutely no idea what the identity of the person speaking is. This song is not completely inclusive (it leaves out aroace folks, for one thing) but it is super ambiguous.
There are lyrics that pretty much directly contradict each other or at the very least are incredibly unclear. Let’s take the line “X or Y,” for starters. This could mean so many things. It could be a person who is uncertain of their identity or orientation, a bi or pan person, or a nonbinary/agender person.
Then there’s the line “I wear different clothes and pretend to be a boy in front of you.” It is established that the “you” here is most likely an unaccepting society, so it sounds like the narrator is a trans girl, since they are “pretending” to be a boy. On the contrary, perhaps the translation isn’t totally accurate and in fact it is a trans guy speaking. My original interpretation of this line wasn’t either of these, but rather a girl pretending to be a boy so that she can be seen in public with her girlfriend. I think I thought of it this way because it was the most relatable way to think about it, since I’m a lesbian. A person with a different identity or orientation would probably have a different interpretation.
A bit later in the song comes a line that doesn’t fit with any of my thoughts in the last paragraph. “A dead end with stamens and stamens” sounds like it’s talking about... you know. Which would mean the song is about a gay man, but that doesn’t make much sense within the rest of the song.
“Do not be afraid/A wide variety of genders” is something else that is so, so ambiguous. This could mean the narrator is pretty much anything other than cishet.
The main part of the chorus is “Mr. Crazy Villain” which means, ok, this is a cisgender man, right? Maybe, but maybe not. The rest of the song contains so many mixed messages it’s impossible to say, and because they are becoming “Mr. Crazy Villain” in the eyes of society perhaps they don’t even identify as male.
Basically, the whole song is ambiguous and contradictory and I think that’s genius because nearly all LGBT people can relate to some part of it.
Now let’s move on to why this song is good enough to be an anthem for reasons other than its relatability. The song basically centers around a person who is rejected by society for their LGBT+ identity who eventually decides just to become the “villain” they are presumed to be.
This song starts out by talking about some issues and such that most queer people know all too well about. The very first line is “maybe hated when holding hands” which... yeah. Then there’s “I’m not a mutant/It’s just me” and “they say I am ‘infringing’ you.” Each of these lines strikes something deep within me, as I’m sure it does with plenty of other people. The fact that this song confronts issues that we face makes it so much better, in my opinion, than the traditional rhetoric of “haters back off I’m perfect.” We are seen as mutants, we are told not to show our true selves to the world because we make other people uncomfortable. In a lot of other people’s stories, we are the “villains.”
This song takes that notion of being the “villain” and says sure. Go ahead, think of us as the villains, we will take your hate and we will make ourselves stronger. I may be the “villain,” but at least I don’t have to hide anymore.
There are a couple lines that I’m still unsure the meaning of, so if you want to help me overanalyze them here they are: “Dear Sirs Duran Duran please come to pick me up” “My heart is 1LDK”
Anyway I probably overanalyzed this and potentially got way off base but I’ve been thinking about this for way too long. I’m interested to hear anyone else’s thoughts on this!

Review: Pixelogue
A little late to post this, but I intend to share details and reflect on the editing of Pixelogue, in hope that it will help editors and organizers who need advice. (If you’re not interested in editing info, just skip to the last section)
Details are in Chronological Order -
# Software:
I designed everything from scratch in AE, with all the stock plugins. I had to relearn everything I used to know about AE; I last used it extensively in Pixelophobia years ago and furthermore, I wasn’t really used to the new CC interface. I had to seek tutorials for every simple effect I wanted to execute. It sure was difficult for me. For english speaking editors, this is probably your main tool if you intend to do simple video animations and graphics.
# Planning: Song Choice
I had intended to use a Korean Indie Track as stated in the collab details page. Sadly, the music really didn’t fit the music. I spent about 3 days rearranging the clips in every permutation I knew. I didn't really manage to find an arrangement that suited the clips. The unfortunate reality for editors is that we are usually at the mercy of the submission clips. I finally chose something Tigres’ described as “Shawn Wasabi-like”. It was a major challenge for my editing since I wasn’t exactly used to creating work that is colourful or cheerful rhythm-wise. I had to have major re-planning if I wanted it to work out.
# Editing: Draft
My process for editing clips always starts from arranging the combos. I used Vegas for this since, well, it IS a video editor, and it is pretty fast in processing clips. For learning purposes, here is the link of my very first draft (https://youtu.be/kRDwXTnxXGw). I think it’s necessary to spend a longer time at this stage, so as to visualize how its gonna turn out. And of course, to ensure that this is the flow of the CV you really wanted. By this stage, you should also have planned out the fillers (as denoted by the empty instances in the draft) and roughly how long your intro and outro will be.
# Editing: Intro
I didn’t really want to make something too kawaii. But yet, I can’t really escape the colourful imagery I imagined the intro to be. I compromised and made something that alternates between some modern TV visuals and old school TV visuals.
Modern TV; I was greatly inspired by those colour wipes that vloggers used for their youtube channels. It was one of those common and simple transitions that AE users exploit regularly. I found ways to incorporate it in a radial and a rotating wipe. The font animations were all plugins in AE that I found. I wasn’t gonna edit every alphabet like the previous CVs I made.
Old School TV; I took most of my inspiration from the adjustment knobs on analog TV. I found that it goes well with the subtle static noise in the music track. Hence I employed selection circles, and drew an actual knob (not sure if you guys realised that was what it was supposed to be). I also warp bulge the static background as well as the words, to emulate the concave glass distortion present in analog TVs.
And in the final burst of images, I made the clips alternate between 16:9 and 4:3, just to show the juxtaposition between modern and old school.
I really hope people notice all these small details. I didn't feel it was impactful enough, but I guess these are probably cool facts for those who are interested.
# Editing: Combos
I always render my CV in a 16:9 resolution, simply because it IS more pleasing to the eye now that computer monitors are no longer square. My preferences have yet to change. However, with regards to the clips, I have read enough indirect feedback that the cropping wasn’t something that most people liked. I took this criticism pretty seriously, and thought it was time for me to hop on the bandwagon, to try the new-age style of CV editing.
I had to put in much more effort to retain a 4:3 combo in a 16:9 visual space, with an additional need to create a secondary background layer. But because of this decision, it gives me more freedom to explore options of panning and perspective movements.
I create a blurred and expanded duplicate of every combo as a background. I thought it was great that I could retain the original colours and give the clips a “floaty field”. No one has done something like this before, so it was instantly cool and hip. It also gives more room and potential to play around with the transitions too. Eg, fading the background before the clip (transition from Tigres to popte). Interestingly, all the backgrounds all have different properties, namely position, scale and degree of gaussian blur. The reason was really because some clips were seizure inducing due to their extensive movements. I thought it would be nice to vary all of them, which adds a unique aesthetic touch to all the combos.
I am pretty new to editing in a 3Dimensional Space and camera tracking. I was intending to do something as simple and fluid like Talentica Neue. Well, I learnt it wasn’t as simple as I thought. I had about 5-6 Parameters of camera movements, and frankly till now, don’t really know what each one does. I highly suggest for editors who wanna try 3Dimensional camera tracking, watch more tutorials and try simple practice projects. Learning how to utilize it properly will extensively improve your editing game.
Oh yeah, remember to use the graph editor for EVERYTHING. Acceleration and Decelerations have too much aesthetic value to miss out on.
# Editing: Outro
Because I have spent so much time on all other parts of the CV, it’s only responsible for me to put in some effort on an outro which I am usually way too lazy to make. Yeah guys, it’s important to make outros too guys. I used the same warping and television static effect from the intro to retain a sense of continuity. It's simple and nice, I liked it.
# Combos; (Warning: Difficult to Stomach)
I’m gonna be a little too frank about this- the quality of combos I received were lower than what I usually work with (I love my UPSB submissions tho). I guess this is the huge downside of organizing sign-up CVs to an international community that is slowly dying and regressing. It was even harder when most didn’t submit on time. I had only 7 clips by the deadline. I wanna admit that I had moments regretting that I was organizing Pixelogue as a majority-signup CV. Some of the filtered combos either didn’t fit the style of CV (really sorry padrace) or was just bad due to the lack of effort. Mostly bad.
But here’s the heart of the matter, this might really reflect the standard of the international community.
I’m not sure if I am the only one who feels this way, but I feel that most of the current international CVs can be separated into two groups, the JEB invites, and the rest of us. Don’t get me wrong, I do acknowledge the high standards JEB spinners deliver. But I’m not comfortable with the fact that they don’t submit better materials since their combos are guaranteed to be featured, and mainly because the quality of an international CV is often a 50/50 hit or miss (could be lower). Who can blame them really. Even so, their names are usually enough to make the lineup look great.
> Pixelation was an all JEB sign up CVs. Pixelarium, Pixelophobia, Pixelography, Pixeholic were invites-only CVs, a mix of international and JEB guys. <
Most of my CVs have a JEB last spinner or a JEB dominant lineup towards the end. (coffeelucky 6th is also guilty of this). Clearly, you can see how much we use japanese invites as a way to boost the “quality” and hype of our projects. Yeah, sucks to admit it, but I am sure these are common sentiments shared with many of us international CV editors for a pretty long time.
Well, its not something I’m really contented with. In fact, I don’t like the way this becomes the norm.
More recently, around the time I released “Express 12.1.18”, I really wanted to believe in us - the international community veterans, the borderline pen spinning retirees, that we can perform. I didn’t wanna believe that the international community was any inferior. I finally felt ready to edit something solely from our pool of people. I can accept that I don’t have to rely on japanese invitations to superficially enhance the CV. We have enough to make something great ourselves.
I fondly assert that the international community does NEED this kind of confidence. Otherwise, we will always be second rated. Seen as the lesser beings. Y’all JapEn tiering meme-lords know what I’m talking about. I personally needed this to prove to myself that it will work out for us even when the scene looks pretty shitty now. And yes, I did feel better after this.
# Conclusion
It didn’t really garner much attention especially when there was a flood of CVs being released around the time it was released. But I do love it a lot. It’s made up of familiar spinners that I cherish, good combos that I’m thankful for, and finally, an editing that drained my whole summer holiday away. Yeah, I do love it a lot. Definitely one of my proudest work.

i have the Vergil motivation to start doing digital drawing. But its kinda intimidating. I mean I've always done things traditionally and I do know how to make designs on Adobe software but not drawing. I was wondering if you have a software that you prefer or would recommend; or just tips in general.
Hello anon! how are you doing? :D
Thank you for asking, I’m not en expert, but I’ll try to help you as much as possible :D. Also, bear in mind that english is not my mother tongue, so there may be some mistakes (ans I’m also a idiot who types really fast without re-reading xDD).
First of all, I assume that you own a graphic tablet, this tool is essentioal for digital art, as they have pen pressure and helps a lot to create unique effects! The brands I’ve seen people recommending the most latelly are Wacom and Huion. I can only give you my opinion about the first one though, I’ve owned a Wacom Intuos 4 for over 6 years and it has never failed me ♥ not even when I accidentally threw the pen inside my tea xD.
Now, speaking about software, I have tried 3: Paint Tool Sai (1 and 2), Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop. Each one has their pros and cons, and you also have to bear in mind what your computer can handle.
1. Paint Tool Sai:
This is the one that I use and like the most, the interface it’s quite simple and the only thing that may cause you trouble may be the brushes settings, but once you have created you own ones, the only preset you’d probably need to change is density.
This software comes with a pen stabilizer, which is very handy if you do linework, I always set mine to S-3 so it’s easier to get more accurate and less “crispy” lines, you may also notice that the pressure works a bit different, like it’s a bit more sharp.
For colouring I always set my flats with selections and the bucket tools, and then I add layers for shadows ans highlights. I always start with flat shadows and blend them using both the Brush and the Water tool. I may share my brushes presets for Sai 2 if you like. This software also includes a “transparent” color, which is really useful when you need to fix some blended areas or softly remove part of the colour.
I have used bot Paint Tool Sai 1 and Paint Tool Sai 2, I have noticed that in the second version brushes work a bit different, specially when it comes to using the transparent color. But Sai 2 comes with many enhacements which makes it more enjoyable, thing such as:
Elipse Rulers
Linear Rulers
Perspective Rulers (they work wonders even if you know 0 about perspective)
Text
Shapes
Gradients
Better compatibility with Photoshop’s layers
It seems that Sai 2 is going to be on Beta forever, but you can still download (illegally, lol) and use it, It’s my fave one, so I really recommend this one.
If you want to see more about its interface, I highly recommend you to take a look to my youtube channel, I tend to upload there some of my drawings speedpaints, I hope they can help you to understand hot it works.
2. Clip Studio Paint
I haven’t used this one that much, I only made my first V drawing with it, as well as some headshots for practicing.
This also comes with a pen stabilizer, but I noticed it didn’t worked the same way as Sai’s, it took me a while to get a level of hardness that I liked. The good thing is that it comes with a wide variety of pens, and I really recommend G-pen when it comes to making linearts, it has a nice and sharp finishing.
It also comes with poseable 3D models to use as references, I don’t really like to use them as they have anime-ish proportions and such, but some people may find them handy I guess. CSP also has a wide variety of resources such as premade images (grass, dust, floers, manga panels, halftones…) so this one may be a good option if you also plan to create comics and such.
If you are going for the paid version, you also get access to a marketplace in which people uploads their resources, and you may find some interesting ones there for free.
CSP also has rulers and perspective tools as far as I remember, but I haven’t tried the new ones (this software used to be called Manga Studio, and that was the first time I used it xD).
You can see me struggling with it in this video.
3. Photoshop
I think this is the one that everyone knows the most, right? xD. Though the use of Photoshop has been widely spreaded, we have to keep in mind that this software is very heavy to handle for some cumputers, you’ll probably need over 8GB of RAM memory (I have 16 GB and it still crashes some times) to make it run “properly”. I am isung CC 2015, since I don’t have enough space in my HD for CC 2019, and I would probably need an SSD to make it work smoothly.
I find it really difficult to do linework with Photoshop, it doesn’t have a pen stabilizer (unless you pay for the lazy nezumi plug-in), so the pen usualy “slips” more, I don’t really know how to call this, but I don’t like the feeling I get when I do linework with it. On the other hand, I find it really funny to sketch with it, don’t ask me why xD.
When it comes to colouting, you have to find the brushes that appeal to your style the most, and it’s also really easy to make your own, you can also make patterns and such. Bad thing that you have to use the sampler a lot, in the end you have to use 3465654 tools to blend properly in photoshop, when in either Sai or CSP you only need two, and this is depending on your style.
I have seen many people doing wonders with realist style in PS (you may take a look to @i-have-no-name-v‘s works, they are awesome!) though!
Other thing I don’t like about PS is their color wheel…It works totally different to Sai’s or CSP’s, and most of the times I find it hard to pick the tone I really need. You may also need a plug in tho swap your color wheel too.
I like to use Photoshop when it comes to adding effects to a drawing, be it lightin, particles, color corrections, etc. It’s very handy for this, and it’s also a good thing that both Sai and CSP allow you to save in .psd format.
I hope this long post has been helpful to you or to anyone that needs it, as I said, I have no problem in sharing my Sai 2 brushes presets if you want, you can either reply here or send me another ask ;D

FAQ
I’ve been getting quite a lot of similar questions on curiouscat recently so I figured I might as well put together a FAQ for new fans who have found my twitter.
If you are a new fan of FS, PLEASE go to @soyouwanttowatchfs!
They provide livestream links for most FS competitions and GREAT intro guides on learning about skating basics, competitions, skaters and elements.
See In The Loop podcast’s website for a handy calendar of events with timezone conversions.
A great guide for resources for watching FS events live - this is for Milan 2018 in particular but most things are applicable generally to all competitions.
Rabbit army: some FS fans have begun hosting rabbit streams of FS related content and will post announcements on their twitter when they do. some key ones to follow:
@doubleflutz
@liliorum
@eternaldolphin
Other skating resources. Just combing through the asks of the above accounts and the ones below (you can usually click through the tags) will ‘flesh out’ your basic understanding of FS. Please note that all of the writers are biased to some degree, which is why it’s good to read multiple sources and draw your own conclusions.
Here’s a quick ‘n dirty rundown guide to FS scoring + intro to the field in memes (pre-Olympics field though)

I couldn’t watch (insert broadcast) live! Where can I rewatch?
Was it broadcast on Japanese TV? Are you within 1wk or so of the broadcast date?
FujiTV usually saves the broadcast for about a week for you to rewatch. Find the right channel + timeslot the show originally aired (most details should be published somewhere, just dig for it. If it’s Yuzuru, the FujiTV channel number and time will be on the front page of the viewing thread on Planet Hanyu)
Did it feature Yuzuru?
Check the compilation threads on Planet Hanyu which usually upload links very soon after the broadcast and throw some thanks to Kaeryth for doing so much hard work
It’s not in the compilation thread
Ask and hope for the best in the Media Requests thread
Read through the Twitter timelines of fans who tend to retweet news on your particular skater and they may retweet a tweet containing an upload link
Check Youtube/Dailymotion - uploaders tend to be slower (unless for competition programs). If you can find the Japanese title, sometimes searching in Japanese on Youtube or DailyMotion will give you results (Dailymotion is favoured more by JP uploaders since they don’t take things down as often)
It doesn’t feature Yuzuru
Best to message ‘main’ fans of those other skaters or check forums such as GoldenSkate (low possibility but maybe)
Here’s a list of my personal recs for a couple of non-yuzuru-focused stans
YUZURU-SPECIFIC FAQs
what’s a yuzuru hanyu?
your historic two time olympic mens figure skating champion champion, also maybe some sort of highly addictive substance idk
where can I get yuzu news and updates?
planet hanyu has a news thread with all the most recent yuzu news
here’s a fanyu and fandom lingo-specific glossary
the calendar also records when shows will be broadcasted
tumblr blogs focused on yuzuru that I personally like to follow are: @tsukihoshi14, @the-real-xmonster, @jumpitwithashuulanditwithapa, @yuzusorbet, @wherespacepooh, @jardinaquatique, @tadakixd
sportymags on wordpress has a bunch of really nice and helpful yuzuru blog entries
I also just love reading morozombie’s blog entries, he has this dry writing style that tickles my exact funny bone
you can also comb through most of the people I follow on Twitter
who is the old dude who’s always seen with yuzuru at competitions?
most likely kikuchi akira (the old Japanese guy who is Yuzu’s personal trainer): https://sportymags.wordpress.com/2016/07/23/yuzuru-hanyu-team-hanyu/
or ghislain briand, Yuzu’s jump coach at TCC: http://kaerb.tumblr.com/post/172441621579/hey-lae-im-sorry-to-bother-you-but-i-cant-find
are yuzuru and javier real friends?
what happened between yuzuru and denis ten at boston worlds 2016?
what happened to yuzuru at boston worlds 2016?
he was hiding a lisfranc ligament injury which had gotten steadily worse all season
this also sums up how it felt to be a fan at the time in context
what happened to yuzuru at Cup of China?
These Aoi Honoo II chapters detail the situation in Yuzuru’s own words (be warned, it’s quite graphic in its descriptions): - https://yuzusorbet.tumblr.com/post/150270208657/my-sharing-from-aoi-hono-ii-warning-will-cause - https://yuzusorbet.tumblr.com/post/150343296547/continuation-of-scene-10-of-aoi-hono-ii-a-battle
why do some fans on twitter call yuzuru ‘zazura’ or otherwise butcher his name?
it’s a joke to make fun of the fact western commentators have frequently messed up his name in the past, ranging from ‘yuzura to yasunori’
where does this clip of yuzu come from? / where can I find a clip of yuzuru at [event]
do not ask me - I rarely save links
either post here or ask the person who uploaded the clip
All of yuzuru’s senior competition performances
Links to documentaries, shows and other media yuzu’s participated in
where can I find a copy of yuzuru’s autobiographies?

how do you travel so often?
C+P from another CC ask: I pay for it with my own savings. I've been working while studying since high school and also benefit from scholarships. I'm lucky to get some support from my family (they give me money on eg. my birthday/Chinese New Years that I save) and to live with them (since Sydney house prices are so ridiculous that it’s almost impossible to move out). sometimes I travel for work so expenses can be covered there.
I definitely don't travel this often all the time. I set aside a significant portion of my savings to do so. My biggest motivation for doing this trip I’m currently on (Europe + USA 2018) was 1) being in Europe already which, relative to Australia, means travelling to all these countries is much cheaper than eg. 4 separate trips from Australia it probably would have taken to cover all those, 2) having a large amount of time that I won’t ever have again and 3) being lucky to have eg. Friends/family in some of the cities I’m doing which means free accommodation. They’re very specific circumstances that have made it possible for me
#yuzuru hanyu#figure skating#figure skate#i really didn't expect to make this but the questions are....getting rather frequent#so w/e organisation is FUN

(How long am I allowed to make this answer? A short essay’s length? Ok)
First, it was cool user-supported characters that allowed people to make cool animations and songs that I liked. They’re fun to doodle in my notebooks during class.
Now, today as one of the (well, anonymous) creators, Vocaloid is a channel and the theme of each end product I make through my hobbies, whether it be drawing, sewing, coding, composing, or anything else I end up getting my hands on. Vocaloid has turned into a means of finding a community of other people who like the characters it portrays and others who enjoy creating with the characters and has helped me develop better communication skills because of my want to discuss with others. Vocaloid has also been a target for me to learn to channel my emotions.
(Utau is also along those lines, but it feels more personal bc the voice provider is usually active online so it feels off when I try to embrace them in the same way as Vocaloid)
I honestly can’t figure out how fans of games are able to draw and dream up different stories about cartoon/ anime/ game characters; that’s the dev’s jobs and they give you the content, plus it’s official! Thus, I applaud you self-motivated people who can make their own content. I used to draw and sew Pokemon a lot because they’re cute, but I play some other new apps and I can’t bring myself to make any content with them because I end up satisfied with just playing the game. Same thing with anime, CCS is cool and I enjoy watching it (along with a few others) but it’s rather satisfying just to watch and I end up content with its contents. However, when it comes to Vocaloid, there is little to no official content. The official creators might make stuff and release a CD or two and merch if they’re active, but there’s nothing else to follow. To fully enjoy the content, you have to be a part of the movement creating, whether it be cosplaying or making songs or drawing the characters. The idea completely drew me in. I like doodling in my notebooks. Then I should level up and draw with a tablet so I can show the Twitter people. I like playing my violin. Then I can make covers of songs and show the Youtube people. I like sewing. Then I should sew the characters so people who want it (for there is a lack of official merch) can exchange something they created for the plushie. I can even code things for the Vocaloid software itself, I don’t think most games or anime allow that! Since anything I could want to do is supported by the Vocaloid software or one of the end goals of it, I feel that I am a part of something awesomely powerful when I direct my hobbies toward Vocaloid.
Vocaloid is also the one of two themes of the communities I am an active part of online (plushies are the other theme). There’s something sparkley about finally being able to talk to people on twitter after a few months with my not-as-confident- because-I-haven’t-talked-to-strangers-in-Japanese and realizing that I’m speaking ok when I asked the strangers (now friends). It’s also comforting to know that people know what an Oliver is or a Ruby is because nobody irl knows what meaning they have for me. In addition, getting to work with and talk with people to collaborate on a lot of songs starting from similar interests and similar desires has been great experiences that I hope don’t end any time soon. Each of these different steps have helped me to become increasingly confident in my communication abilities, which haven’t existed outside of English class until around the time I started internetting. (Until I started to use the internet I didn’t talk to people to the point that my classmates were convinced that I didn’t have a voice.)
One other thing Vocaloid is to me is a way that I learn to control emotions. This is in the perfect tense, so I’ve been learning, I am learning, and I will be learning are all valid statements. The first song I heard and knew was Vocaloid is Melt, and that song basically shoots an arrow into your heart as a little person who has a crush >< More one-sided love songs, and I guess today, I’ve made one (1) one-sided love song and also a vent song. I’m learning to vent well. Vent. Venting’s proved to be easier in Japanese, I hope I can have my Yukari sing more songs, both for venting and not venting. I hope that as I continue to vent/ find songs, I learn to better control my feelings and act like a better human.
In conclusion, Vocaloid has been a great theme for my hobbies and communities. It has let me discover ways for controlling my smol emotions. I don’t want to decrease my enjoyment of Vocaloid any time soon, and I hope that you enjoyed reading. And thus, this is a 2 page essay about what Vocaloid is to me.

Go to your YouTube Channel and follow the steps to get the Caption Systemin YouTube:
• Register for a YouTube accounts -- free in www.youtube.com Overall, YouTube Provides you a few options to create captions: • Put a YouTube Channel (create one here) But here is the most significant thing: YouTube's automatic captioning is getting better and improved over the years, and it is usually faster and easier to edit what they create for you as it really would be to start out from scratch and make your own. But for those who own a video which was produced by someone else and already comes with a caption file, then then YouTube also lets you upload this file directly and utilize that version in the place of these. C. You may"Produce new subtitles or CC" -- that is where you can transcribe your narration, and pause the video since you type in what the audio track says, together with YouTube automatically producing enough codes. • You can transcribe the video and produce the captions when you are seeing the movie, and again, YouTube can create the time codes. 7. A Blue box may appear:"Insert new sub titles or CC" -- click with this. This should show all of the videos you have uploaded into a YouTube account
Can not conquer the Price or ease of use
9. That really is where YouTube Offers you their three excellent alternatives: • YouTube can not readily recognize the narration (heavy beams, mixed with music, etc.) YouTube has created all of this to you -- for free. That is correct, one among the planet's strongest captioning system for videos won't cost you a dime, and it is quite simple for you to regulate. Video is among the most powerful marketing tools available to realtors now. Making certain your videos are captioned is not simply a intelligent way to make sure you are compliant in the future but also hit more sellers and buyers on line now. Now before your fret over the looked at the way painstaking adding captions to your videos will likely undoubtedly be, there's a shortcut which could enable you to save time, money and lots of frustration. It is YouTube. Yesthe entire world's biggest video library -- and also now the world's 2nd largest site for searches, surprisingly will automatically create captions for narrated videos that you upload into your YouTube station. Most of all, it will norton tech support number timecode the captioning, plus it's going to allow you to edit the mistakes which its automated translation engine will in all probability make. The fantastic thing is that YouTube helps you begin from scratch, with different methods to go in and build your own captioning script. You can even pause the video, even as you make the words to coincide with the content, also YouTube may help by mechanically time-coding exactly what you are able to create. 5. You're now in the Editing mode for the video and on top Menu at the far left ought to be considered a"cc" pub and"Subtitles/CC. Click this. 8. English will appear like the language (having the possibility to look for different languages). Click on English. Once you finalize your captions, select"Publish" on the very top right and then check your video to be sure your captioning is correct. If not, return in and editand publish them back again. • Upload the videos that you would like to caption to YouTube. Inch. Click your Account Icon (a ring, top right) and then Select"Creator Studio"
More on YouTube auto-captioning Let us take a look at just how all three of these choices work: • The audio quality is bad • The language utilized on your video is not yet supported by automatic captions 1-1. If you would like to download the caption file you created for one more video application, after your captions are published, once you go to"Edit" your captions, an"Activity" menu will appear and also from the pull will be an option for a".srt" file. That's really a caption format file that once you select, it is going to download to a computer and also you can essential that to a video program, like the video screen capture program Camtasia, which uses this arrangement to allow video captions to install this file to the exact identical video to be utilised in that additional app. A detailed illustration is here. • You may also enable your video from community contributions, letting audiences caption and translate your articles (but this is not a recommended option for businesses). • You can edit the automatic captions, in case YouTube created them 2. 1-2. You also can download your completely free YouTube video to engage in offline. One means to do this is available on the web here.
• The audio is overly Intricate Now start looking for that video you want to add the Captions to Select the"Edit" button, then just to the right at the base of the video that you would like to use. • A very long interval of silence at the beginning of the video. • You are able to type or paste at a full transcript of this movie, also YouTube will set time code, and allow you to edit it into perfectly match your narration YouTube's automatic caption process dropbox tech support is really built to work better for shorter videos with a single narrator. Therefore that not all videos will have automatic captions. Some of the things that can prevent YouTube from adding captions contain: • Overlapping Keys of numerous speakers • The movie is overly long What you will want:
Captioning that your videos is still just one of those untapped advertising treasures for realestate agents to day, as it produces two huge, immediate benefits. First, it places you in accordance with the intent of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and the Canadian CRTC Caption Laws and helps you avoid getting swept up in a lawsuit as your videos are according to web accessibility standards by including captions.
You will"Upload a document" when you have a text file with a transcript and time codes. You will soon be asked to"Set video language" and for most circumstances, you may select English. Please be aware, however, that if you're in a Multilingual market, YouTube does provide you with the ability to chose from 187 unique languages for Captioning and also this might possibly be a clever marketing advantage for some representatives by creating custom videos with captions in different languages. If you're likely to use English for each your Captioning, you can set this here as the default option for all prospective videos by simply clicking a checkbox to the best which box won't come later on.
Detail by Detail Second, and what's more, you could tap into an untapped market and potentially reach more sellers and buyers when you caption your videos. b. You will"Transcribe and auto-sync" -- This Enables You to simply cut and glue a transcript and then YouTube will add time guidelines, and Permit You to edit it to make sure the narration and the phrases are InSync
