cas couture.

cas couture is an upcoming community-based sim magazine focused on fashion. what sets cas couture apart is that we will not allow permanently paywalled cc to be featured in the magazine and aim to highlight the numerous, talented cc creators in the community :)

we are looking for simblrs who would like their stories/cc/creations/sims/pretty-much-anything ADVERTISED (for free, this is not a cash grab) in the APRIL 2025 ISSUE!

as cas couture is community driven, we need YOUR participation!

we want to put the spotlight back on this community and appreciate active simblrs. we want to encourage blog interaction and actually make the community ~feel like a community!

what will advertising look like?

sponsoring might look different across different spreads, it might be an ad for a movie/ tv series (i.e., this would advertise a sim story), an ad for a product/ designer (i.e., this would advertise a CC creator) and so on.

we're pretty much open to advertising anything! :) if you have any ideas for how you would like your creation advertised, let us know!

what are the requirements to sponsor?

you must be 18+ to apply

i'm an editor for the magazine already, can I apply to sponsor?

yes, you totally can! we would just request you still fill out the form and once we confirm your sponsorship, we would just ask you to make your own advertisement, as it would probably be the quickest method :)

can I make my own advertisement as a sponsor?

yes, you totally can! once you're accepted as a sponsor, we will send you more information on the canvas size and other regulations <3

how many advertisements are you accepting?

there is no set number, it's more like... how many advertisements we can crank out in time for April 11 :) if you are willing to create your own advertisement and submit it by April 10th, the chances are 99.999% that we would accept :)

why is reblogging this post a requirement in order to apply for sponsorship?

because it'll show that you're truly willing to ruin your impeccable feed with simblr community content! if you're not willing to do it now, you probably won't want to later :( cas couture can only fuel itself on my hopes and dreams for so long until it burns out :( the aim is for blog interaction, making (age-appropriate) friends and having a good time!!!!

Question: old save vs new gameplay

Hiya!

I'm still here and still creating CC (will get back to that in a other post :3). Life as been crazy as of late.

As i'm getting back into gameplay i rlly wanted to get back with my Primley family save however.... the amount of new packs updates makes me a bit hesitant so i was wondering... how do you guys handle stuff like this?

For example; Emilia has no connection whatsoever with one of her daughters which happens in rl as well i know XD but its a bit sad and even some of the sims that ended up together or even married now have bad compatibility.

I was thinking of uploading them to my gallery and plant them in a new save to at least make sure that most of their surroundings are "up-to-date" to prevent any errors etc. Also just pondering with the idea of just starting a whole new save as i think rotational play would also be very fun and maybe less restrictive for me as a player.

Lemme know what you guys do/love/think/play in your own sims saves/legacies!

Thank you to everyone who’s posts have kept me feeling a bit joyful these past few days💜

i’ve been sick this past week and felt really low bc i’m feeling like i finally had time to catch up on everything sims this break and instead im just bingewatching Virgin River, X-files, Modern family, Yellowstone (which btw is giving quite interesting fever dreams at night, i might add😅) “waisting” my days off being a couch patato and sleeping so much its insane!

Its so frustrating bc i have all these ideas for my game, cc, screenshots etc but even sitting upstraight this last week felt like a workout. luckily im feeling a bit better so the worst is over! And i should remind myself that i still have plenty of time to enjoy my game (off of work till the 6th of jan) and that its just a selfcare week i guess hehe

Old-Fashioned Farmhouse

These days, "farmhouse" conjures a certain, rather overplayed aesthetic... one I'll readily admit I'm none too fond of! But the original farmhouse — the good, old-fashioned kind you'll drive past every dozen or so miles on any old two lane highway crisscrossing the sparsely populated expanse of any flyover state. That is a thing of beauty.

More often than not, they'll look rather like this one: painted sweetly all in white, with old wooden shutters flanking double hung windows, and a welcoming front porch just begging for a rocking chair and a glass of lemonade — during better weather, that is.

This home might be perfect for: farmers, obviously! or flippers... possibly both!

Enoque Coats.

With the latest update came this incredibly cute coat! HOWEVER... It came with as an outfit with a pair of pants underneath so i had to make it into a top and remove that! ᵔᴥᵔ The short version is SO cute!! I loved the original color palette a lot, so i did not add any recolors. Read below for the download link! (Freebsters of course!)
