— rages over chests. he couldn't find that one chest at cloudford and the divination commission and he was about to break his pc. this ain't even genshin with hundreds of chests per region. though, in his defense, cloudford was really annoying with all of the contraptions, and it was easy to get lost in the divination. no seriously fuck that shit

— don't get me fucking started with simulated universe. while he eventually learned how to manage through the stages, the process in getting there was quite painful for him to experience and for you to watch.

— one thing that didn't change, though, was his ridiculous luck in terms of artifact-pulling. crit rate, crit damage, energy regeneration, atk increase – you're convinced the game knows that rafayel's a huge spender and they're rewarding him for his services.

— well, he'll manage somehow, even with his all-dps team with zero sustain or support. heh.

Basira, on the other hand, fell a bit for me, but i think that was kind of the point. She was fierce and stony and nearly zero compassionate, – very Gertrude-ish of her –  but after everything that’s happened, i can't really blame her :/

Elias though...... I was spoiled that he was Jonah Magnus halfway through season 2 or so, so the reveal wasn't a big deal for me. I wonder how shattering it was for listeners when it first dropped though... At least he upped his villainy cred this season. Suits him better than the "unbothered neutral/evil stand-by" vibe he gave before.

And one last character thing, I fell in love with Peter so quickly. His lines were all gold and his delivery even more so. He just had that unflappable vibe to him. Like he didnt have a care in the world.

Oh, and him and Elias totally had ex-wives who spent the last 10 years fighting about who gets what in the divorce energy.

Uhhhhh yeah. I grew to appreciate Helen more and more every time they showed up. Simon Fairchild was surprisingly fun for an old man, Gerry deserved the freaking world (thank you so much Jon for burning that page) and i think that’s kinda it on my favorite “creatures and associates”

Im super excited for this last stretch. i wonder if TMA will stick the landing. I sure hope it does, and honestly trust it will.

okay so. i really don’t see how it’s possible for him to have good vision. i mean. he’s constantly crying black tears. think of when you cry NORMALLY- your vision gets all blurry, you can barely see. now imagine if those tears were magic pitch and oh yeah ALSO MADE OF LIQUID DETERMINATION. (in my au, corrupted magic, so-)

so imagine that. but CONSTANTLY. no way killer doesn’t have SOME issues.

-he is surprisingly organized. i mean… for Killer, anyway. at the very least, he puts stuff back where he found it, every item has its place where it’s supposed to be.

-as for his vision itself… i tried imagining what he might see, and came up with this: probably tinted blackish, definitely blurry, a little warped… i read a book on Stargard’s Disease, and they described a spot in the center of their vision, and i thought it made sense for Killer. probably has better peripheral vision. in my guess, if you wanna use medical-ish(?) terms, i’d say about 6/200. so. pretty bad.

-he probably downplays it a LOT. doesn’t wanna be seen as weak, or useful— he doesn’t see himself that way, he’s just scared that other people might— so if he ever HAS to explain, he’ll say something about how ‘ah, it’s just kinda blurry and dark, not too bad!’

-as for how he fights: killer’s pretty talkative guy. he probably talks to his enemies a lot so he can pinpoint them by voice direction, or baiting them into close-combat so he can see them better.

-he probably fell down the stairs more times than he cares to admit. he blames nightmare, because the castle’s too dim for him.

-literally had to be sat down by Nightmare and practically ORDERED to ask for help when he needed it.

It was Sunday.

On Sunday, the guys got to relax and take a break from singing and dancing for Gustavo. On the other hand, Ronnie planted herself on the couch with her switch and bought turnips from Daisy Mae on her Island. She desperately needed bells to pay off her house loans from Tom Nook. All the fishing was getting annoying, and she was tired of chasing bugs around because nothing new was showing up. The bug and fish sections were almost finished in her museum, and she was so close to completing them.

She struggled with the art pieces she bought from Redd because she always bought fake ones. Ronnie never claimed to be a connoisseur of the arts, but the counterfeit paintings and sculptures looked so similar to the real deal. There were all kinds of guides online, but they were a mess and needed proper organization.

The apartment was humid. All the windows were open. Her dad opened the door to let in a draft, but nothing came. Ronnie swapped her hoodie for a loose misfits t-shirt and basketball shorts. Her shoulders were hunched over the console, and she stuck her tongue out in concentration. Buying turnips wasn't that big of a deal, but it was important for the economy on her island. As long as she didn't have the funds, she wouldn't be able to make her island look pretty like she had planned. There was a rough draft sketch in her notebook.

Not being able to move town hall was infuriating, but she brushed it off. When she started playing, she didn't think about her future choices.

Her hair had been freshly dyed last night. The electric blue was vibrant. She considered dying her hair another color but figured using the blue hair dye she had was wise before purchasing another color. She looked up when she heard a knock on the door frame.

"Hey, we're going to the pool. Do you want to come with me?" James slung a towel over his shoulder, and his shades rested neatly on his hair.

Ronnie wanted to say no, but staying in her apartment all day was bound to get boring. She didn't trust the guys around water, especially not with her switch, but she had just started playing a few minutes ago and didn't want to pull herself away.

"Sure!"

What she didn't realize was hoe bad of an idea it was. Ronnie may have had zero intention of hopping in the pool, but the guys had every intention to soak up the sun and jump in the chlorinated water. She shielded her switch as Carlos canonballed into the water with a squeal of excitement. He was showing off for the new movie star sitting alone, off to the side. She was an action movie star.

"Hey! Watch it!" Kendall barked.

"It's fine, its fine." Ronnie was either reassuring herself or Kendall. But either way, she held her switch closer.

All she wanted to do was play animal crossing in peace. Maybe organize her island, or catch things to sell in the box outside Nook's cranny.

"Thats like 200$ anyway, why'd you bring it?" Logan asked, sitting by the edge of the pool.

"I haven't played for months because I've been too busy wrangling you guys." Ronnie shrunk in her lounge chair, she accidentally chopped down a peach tree.

"It's a nice day outside, you should be looking at something other than a screen." James chimed in with a lopsided grin.

"Take this from me and you die." Ronnie threatened.

"Okay, okay." James held his hands up and backed away.

"Guys, she has every right to relax anyway she wants."

Logan screwed his face up and gagged.

"You're so in love its sickening." Carlos swam to the edge and taunted the blonde with huge eyebrows.

"Wha-" Kendall gaped.

"Yeah, dude you come to he rescue a lot." James agreed.

Ronnie jumped from her seat when Carlos pulled himself from the water. He shook like a dog and she held her switch away.

"I'll got to one of those cabanas." She didnt wait for the pouting or complaining before she booked it away from the pool.

Kendall pouted.

"I get videogames are cool, but whats so special about animal crossing? Isnt that a game for babies?" Carlos watched her walk away.

"It is not for babies!" Ronnie called from across the pool area. People gave her weird looks but ahe didnt mind.

"Its a stupid animal game..." Carlos mumbled.

"I for one, want to see whats so special about it." James perked up.

Soon the four boys marched over to Ronnie, leaving their lounge chairs and towels for the time being. Cueiously she looked up at them. She looked between all their faces and rose a brow.

"Can we play?" Kendall asked, a hopeful smile on his face. Ronnie furrowed her brows.

"This is single player."

"Cool, we'll take turns!" Carlos slid into the chair next to her. And she may regret it, but she hesitantly handed him her switch.

"Its not an action game, there isnt much to do...." She watched as he ran around the island, marveling at the villagers.

"Oh! Wait, try to catch that cricket!" Logan peered over Carlos' shoulder.

"How?"

"The bug net." Ronnie chuckled. "Open the inventory with X."

It pretty much satiated the teens, now that they were able to play. Logan liked catching the bugs and filling the museum. Carlos liked swimming in the ocean. James, on a whim, discovered Happy Home Decorator but he had more fun buying clothea from Able Sister's.

"So, why do you have peach trees all over the island?" Kendall asked, after a while it was just him and Ronnie at the cabana because the others got bored.

"Oh, thats not important." Her cheeka flushed pink.

"No, no. I wanna know."

She was idly decorating a vacation home with the DLC, hoping he would get distracted and ask her about something else.

"Ronnie?"

"Butt Island!" She blurted out.

"What." Kendall stared at her like she had three heads.

"Because.... I called it Butt Island. Camille gave me peaches to plant and replace all the pear trees."

The blonde blinked twice, but then he started laughing. Ronnie started laughing too. Maybe, just maybe the guys would end up playing animal crossing too.

This really didn't say much as always cause of NDA. But I hope the person behind Gamma is okay. I remember him talking about one of his previous jobs and that he was let go but has taken a positive attitude. I know getting into a company is a blessing but in times like this, you just realize its a double edged sword.

Eternal love - Chapter 4

A/N: Sorry for such the long delay on this chapter. Between taking a break mentally on everything and getting sick I had ideas but could not right. This chapter is not exactly what i wanted for but things don't always go as planned.

Everything with Phil has been going great, it's been a fun couple of weeks going on dates and waking up next to him. I would never admit this to anyone but he is something nice to look at.  However this morning, I find myself wanting more. Phil has admitted he doesn’t want to settle down and I can’t blame him. He has a reputation to keep up in this town and as a bar owner. 

I’m home today alone and I pull out my phone. For some reason I never deleted a picture of Jake and I, you can’t see his face but I know it's him. My heart starts to break all over again. I put my phone down and go and make myself another cup of coffee trying to get my mind to focus on work.

Jakes POV: Last time I reached out to her she told me she never wanted to see or hear from me again. I can’t blame her but I have to know she’s safe. I look at my laptop and see she’s home. It's where she has been lately. I’m 200 miles away in colville to keep distance between us because if I see her face I’m going to lose it and run to her.

I take a sip of coffee as I watch my screen between tracking her and my pursuers. I’ve had little sleep but I need to make sure they stay away from her. I realized they were only close to her last time because I was so I stayed away. Everything in my heart is telling me to run to her and kiss her one more time but her safety will always be my importance. I just don’t see what she see’s in Phil still. She told me I didn’t have to worry about him and yet they are together, at least for now. 

I know guys like him, he will mess up and she will walk away. I had learned things about her and she isn’t one to give second chances. I hope I can be the expectation that once I get everything cleared up because god how I miss that smile as she looks at me with those eyes. The touch of her hands on my face that is used to being covered by this mask. She saw me and while I should be worried that someone is going to come after her I can’t let her into this life with me. That's why I ran all those weeks ago from her. I knew she would hate me for it but it was the only way I could keep her safe.

MC POV:

It’s been a couple hours and I finally got work done today, thankfully my boss hasn’t noticed me slacking lately. I keep telling myself I won’t go down the rabbit hole of finding a way to help Jake but I find myself on the dark web. He had shown me some of it when we were together so I found myself in a forum. I never post or talk to anyone but I hope to know he is okay.

I finally about to close when I see a notification pop up: “if anyone knows where Nym is or that girl he is with there is reward for him alive”

Shit, shit, shit. He’s already with someone else and they are looking for him and her. I grab my phone and I still have his number saved. I go to type something when I see he comes online and I stop. 

“No MC you are not to get caught up in his issues” I say aloud to myself. As I delete his number this time and delete the account I created in that chat form.

I take a deep breath and I call Phil up. He answers and I hear him already in the bar. “Hey love” he says.

“Hey, I was hoping to catch you before the bar opened but I guess I'm a bit late tonight.” I say sadly.

“You can always come stop by, once one of my employees comes in we can head upstairs.” I hear that sly smile of his.

“No, I should rest. Today was a rough day at work and I haven’t eaten except for drinking coffee and a protein bar,” I say with a sigh.

“I’ll make it up to you” he says as I hear him helping a customer.

‘Its okay really. I’ll come stop by in the morning tomorrow as I don’t have work.”

‘Okay see you then love, goodbye” he says as he hangs up.

“Goodbye” I say into the phone to noone.

I go and order myself some takeout and decide to do a little bit of cleaning as I throw on my favorite playlist at the moment. I hear my phone go off but I decide to ignore it. I need to stop jumping at my phone everytime it goes off. It's a bad habit I got into with Jake as I always wanted to talk to him. I hear the doorbell ring and the food is there. As I’m about to close the door a hand stops me and I see it’s Dan and Jessy.

“I tried calling you, boo,” says Dan.

“Sorry I was doing some cleaning,’ I say with a sigh as I let them in and put the food down. “What's going on?” I am concerned they are both here.

He pulls out his phone and there's a text message from an unknown sender. 

???: Tell us where nymos girl is and no one gets hurt

“I didn’t answer because I know you're not his anymore but obviously someone else didn’t get the message and you're in danger. Have you heard from hackerboy?” Dan asks.

I look at him and Jessy concerned, “no not for a couple weeks. I deleted his contact from my phone because he’s part of my past now” I say as I turn around to grab my food.

“Well someone things you're still his, MC” says Jessy.

“Well I’m NOT! I don’t care what he’s up to anymore, for all we know he could be someone new.” I yell.

Dan looks at Jessy, “what's going on? Don’t tell us anything because we know you MC.” Dan states.

“I still miss him okay! I thought he was my eternal love and he walked away from me. I thought we could work through whatever issues we had but he decided to run away instead of fighting for us. So I'm trying to do the same.” I cry out.

“Is that what this is with Phil?” asks Jessy.

“Phil is just something fun for now. There is no end game with him and I plan on breaking it off tomorrow.” I say with a sigh.

Dan comes up and wraps his arms around me. “MC, you still love him don’t you?” he asks

The tears fall and I lean into Dan’s chest. “How am I supposed to stop loving the man that my soul is made for?” I ask looking up at him.

“It won’t be easy but you will make it through I promise you.” he says.

We enjoy a night watching movies and eatting dinner while also playing some games.

I wake up the next morning and remember I have to go over to Phil’s Jessy and Dan are still there so I make up coffee and leave them a note. I head over there and knock on the door.

“Morning” he says as he answers the door in just sweatpants with that sly smile.

“Phil, can we talk?” I ask

“You're not happy are you?” he asks

“No, it was fun. I won’t deny that but my heart isn’t in it. I need more time to get over him. I’m sorry” I say looking down.

“It’s okay,we both knew this was just something fun. No hard feelings.”

“Thanks Phil, I’ll see you around.” I say with a soft smile.

A Chapter in Jelaine’s Life: Some things About being a Reader

An Interview Article by Francis and Nad (February 2024)

Readers have different approaches to picking up a novel and have varying tastes– and for a bookworm, you could imagine all the stories that had accumulated during their journey in the vast spaces of a library. Each shelf, rows and rows of stories that came from people all over history and realities. For this interview, we found someone who can share their experience with literature. Our resident bookworm for this article is Jelaine Dio.

BACKGROUND

The 25-year-old graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology found herself reading stories in her past time during 5th Grade. While the other kids in her class were playing outside during break time, she was exploring her English textbook for the short story collection; that is when the world opened up to her. Now, she reads novels from the likes of Sally Rooney, John Green, Jandy Nelson and Coco Mellors—some of her current favorite authors that she noted. Her current read is The Guest by Emma Cline, previously followed by Jenny Mustard’s Okay Days.

A lot of these books share a similar genre: Contemporary fiction. She stated that it was her favorite genre in fictional literature because she found herself easily visualizing the story if it is closer to real life or based on certain personality traits. 

KEY EXPERIENCES

“Summer Time: A Book A Day”

Only after a few years of falling in love with the short stories, she managed to read over 7 books a week during her summer vacations. Although some readings are motivated by school credits, she still read an impressive amount during that time. She noted that she has read over 200 books since then. As life goes by, people get busy with their time. Even if life gets busy, she always tries to slip in a moment to read. She said “I read my book if I was waiting for something or if there’s a downtime—whether in public or at home. Because I do not have any cellular data on my phone when I leave the house, I always bring my book for times when I must wait.”

We asked her what was the first fiction she had read and she directed us back to her 3rd year of Junior High. She asked her classmate for a recommendation for a book to start reading fiction “She is also a bookwork and reads her book on an iPad. I asked her ‘What ‘s a good fiction to read first?’ and she let me borrow a copy of ‘The Little Prince’”. She noted that before that, she was not reading much then. After picking up the book, that is when she started being a book fanatic again.

On average, outside of summer time when she finishes a book a day, her average reading time then lasts for two to 3 days per novel. Now, she slowed down to finishing a book in a week but if she has work, then she finishes a book in a month. After she finishes a book, she takes a day to take a break and she picks up another book to start. 

I’ll See It Through, Always

When she reads a book, she sees through it, even if it is average “It’s like in the movies, for example. I watch a movie and I find myself enjoying it but when I see some bad reviews, I don’t find it as a waste of time because I enjoyed the work”. She also added how she also thinks about the effort the author took to finish their story. That’s why sometimes when she finds a story in BookTok, a community in TikTok that shares content about literature, she reads it because of how it was marketed. Sometimes, she ends up reading erotic fiction without realizing it because of how the synopsis was advertised. During the interview, she laughingly said that she found that it was her guilty pleasure to read those types of stories

INSIGHTS

Eenie-Meenie-Miney Book!

When entering a bookstore, some people may feel overwhelmed when offered a lot of options. Jelaine is one of these individuals. Because of this, she has devised three ways to choose the next book she will indulge herself in. One is looking at its cover. As ironic as it is for a bibliophile, she does not really follow the famous saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover." When she sees that a book has an aesthetic and eye-catching cover, she will pick it up and read it. Though on some occasions, she will go through the book’s synopsis before buying it. 

Another way is through recommendations in social media’s “BookTok". She follows countless book lovers on Instagram that post their recommendations in their feeds. When she sees these posts, she will buy two to three of those novels and put them on her shelf of books she will later read. Lastly, she picks up and buys the next novel that she will read by browsing the books of the same authors as the previously finished novel she enjoyed. With these three ways, she has fortunately bought novels that she considered a “good book".

"A Good Book"

It is fair to think that a bookworm that has read hundreds of novels would have a grasp of what makes a "good book". In Jelaine’s viewpoint, a novel that has a striking and grand plot is not important, but what is important is the story’s overall flow. She also added that “ A good book is something you can genuinely relate to the character even though that character has a different experience compared to you." Jelaine also mentioned that when she underlined and bookmarked a lot of lines and parts of a book that she is reading, then that novel is exceptional for her.

LESSONS TO SHARE 

A Wider Vocabulary And Getting In Touch To One’s Feelings And Emotions

For almost half of her lifetime, Jelaine has been “sticking her nose" into numerous books in various genres and lengths. With all these consumed fictional works, she has gained extensive knowledge in vocabulary. She quoted, “Due to reading, my word bank is overflowing". As a result, she can understand words in novels that are unusual while also understanding each sentence that she reads quickly.

Reading has also helped her to become more empathetic, since she is able to know and feel what the characters are going through and understand them as the story goes on. Hence, when a person reads, they can be in touch with their emotions and process them in a healthy manner. 

Something for Readers

Jelaine’s go-to book recommendation to whoever asks her is Celeste Ng’s first novel, "Everything I Never Told You". She deemed this as a good recommendation since it has themes that will make a person feel multiple emotions throughout its entirety. As she shares what the book is about, she mentions that it circles around the idea of family dynamics and how grief affects each member. She said, "This novel is heavy and heart-wrenching". Another book recommendation she mentioned was "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" written by Gail Honeyman, which is also a heavily emotional novel.

In addition, she mentioned a quote from one of the books that genuinely made an impact on her. The line was “They teach you growing up that you are only one thing at a time-angry, lonely, content--but he's never found that to be true. He is a dozen things at once. He is lost and scared and grateful, he is sorry and happy and afraid. But he is not alone.” This is from V. E. Schwab’s, "The Invisible Life Of Addie Larue. With these few pieces of line, she feels comforted and loved since it tells the reader that it is good to feel emotion and not to invalidate one’s feelings.

 “When you read, it’s not just printed words on a paper, it is a mixture of the character’s experiences, feelings and views and in turn, you also experience what they have gone through and feel their emotions. With reading, you gain new experiences without physically experiencing them, but through words on a piece of paper." - Jelaine Dio

Context: Isral and Stefan have been dating for 2 months and Isral is nervous about telling Stefan he has 3 kids in high school and custody of his and his ex wife's kid who's 10 years old. But Stefan drops his wallet and the 4 kids find it and return it to Stefan, but its incredibly obvious that they're Isral's children so Stefan decides to talk to Isral about it

Word count:

Malina, Shade, and Shadus were all walking Milo home from middle school as a surprise. Shade was talking with Milo about where they would go for an after school snack, Sweetfrog or the local ice cream parlor.

"Sweetfrog has all the toppings that I like" Milo finally decided.

"Good choice. We'll take a left up here at this corner" Shade informed her siblings when a man not much taller than Malina walked by them, talking on the phone. He dropped something as he reached into his suit pocket for something but kept walking. The devil was clearly in a hurry but Shadus stopped to see what he had dropped.

"Hang on guys, he dropped something" he said, crouching down

"He probably littered or something" Shade shrugged but waited for her twin brother. Shadus picked up a thick wallet and thumbed through it

"Holy shit, it's a wallet chalk full of cash and cards-" Shadus looked up at his siblings. Malina looked back to see where the man went

"We have to find him and give it back!" She insisted, picking up Milo. Shadus nodded and the 4 ran after the man

"Mister!" Malina called out once they were I n earshot. The devil turned around and hung up the phone

"Yes? Can I help you all?" He rose an eyebrow which had a deep scar through it, trailing across his eye and down to his cheekbone. Shadus held out the wallet towards the man

"You dropped this, sir" he said, "we wanted to give it back to you" The man looked grateful and took his wallet back

"Thank you kids so much. Here, take this as a thank you" The man pulled out $200 from his wallet and handed it back to Shadus. "You 4 treat yourselves okay?" Malina, Shade and Shadus looked shocked and Shadus carefully took the money

"Oh my god- thank you so much, sir" Shadus answered

"Are you sure we can have this?" Shade asked, a bit weary of the amount of money

"Yes I'm sure. You all take care" The man smiled and walked away

"Sweetfrog money!" Milo cheered, it seemed to make Shade a bit less paranoid.

"Yeah! We can get so many toppings" Malina smiled brightly and walked with her siblings to the Sweetfrog

~later that day~

Isral was at his workshop, cleaning up for the end of the work day when his boyfriend Stefan walked into the shop. Isral looked up when the bell rang and smiled brightly

"Darling, it's so good to see you" Isral set the broom to the side and walked over to Stefan. Stefan wrapped his arms around Isral in a hug, who stepped back in a bit

"Stefan I'm covered in sawdust, do you really want to hug me? I don't want to ruin your clothes"

"Isral you're so cute" Stefan laughed and hugged Isral a bit tighter. "I'm never worried about that. And I missed you today"

"Alright, I suppose if you're sure" Isral hugged Stefan back

"So, I have an interesting story to tell about today" Stefan sat on the counter, pulling Isral over by the hand

"Oh? Do tell" Isral smiled and leaned on the counter next to Stefan, who told Isral about the encounter with the 4 kids

"Wow.. thank goodness they saw and helped you" Isral said once the story was over "They sound like good kids.."

"That's the interesting thing. They all looked like you" Stefan said, not in an accusatory way, but he watched Isral's reaction closely.

"Really?.. How so?" Isral answered nervously

"Two were a spitting image of you, only the girl had black magic instead of white and the boy's skin was a bit darker, and the other two girls had grey and white magic respectively. They all had halos and the oldest girls had horns and tails, which isn't common in our town" Stefan explained, raising his eyebrow to Isral, waiting for an explanation, or an excuse

"Well... those are my kids.." Isral mumbled sheepishly, "I was worried about telling you because I don't know how you feel about kids, especially one as young as Milo.." he explained "I completely understand if you're upset that I hid it from you" he added. Stefan got up off the counter and stood in front of Isral.

"I'm not mad at you.. I honestly understand" Stefan reassured "I know that you also did this to keep your kids safe, but I want you to know that I love you so much.. and I know we haven't said that yet, but I really love you. And if being with you includes being around your kids, I'm more than happy to welcome them into my life as well, if they let me and if you're comfortable with that" Stefan said, looking up at Isral and holding his hands

"You love me?.." Isral asked quietly "I.. god.. you're serious?"

"Yes. About all of it" Stefan said seriously

"I love you too.. and I want you in my life, and I trust you, but I want you to know, that my kids are the most important people in my life" Isral said firmly. "But.. I want you in my life, and if my kids want you in my life then that would mean the world to me.." Isral looked down at his boyfriend and smiled sweetly. Stefan held Isral's face and gently brushed some hair out of his partner's face

"How about we tell them then, tonight?" Stefan suggested. "I heard they were gonna go to Sweetfrog, they ought to be back soon"

"Hm.. I think that's a good idea" Isral smiled and kissed Stefan's forehead. "I told them to stop by the shop once they were done with school and frozen yogurt" Stefan nodded and the bell to the shop rang. Isral moved away from Stefan and watched as his 4 children walked into the shop. Shade looked slightly suspicious as she saw Isral move away from Stefan

"Hey! It's the man from earlier!" Malina smiled and pointed at Stefan

"Daddy!" Milo cheered and ran to Isral "This nice man gave us Sweetfrog money!" she pointed to Stefan, who smiled and waved at Milo

"Hey, munchkin! Good to see you" Stefan chuckled

"What are you doing here, sir?" Shadus asked, walking over to his father and Stefan.

"He's here because I have something to tell you" Isral said nervously. The kids instantly paid attention to their father and waited patiently for what he had to say.

"This man that you helped today is Stefan. We've been seeing each other for about 2 months, and I thought I'd introduce you to him since we're getting serious" Isral explained and reached over to Stefan and help his hand. Malina's eyes lit up and she smiled brightly

"Oh my gosh, Dad! That's amazing!" she cheered. Shade smiled and looked at Stefan

"Well, he seems very nice" she said

"Is he gonna live with us?" Shadus asked. Isral glanced at Stefan

"I don't know yet" he answered

"Maybe in the next few months" Stefan responded. Milo's halo glowed and she hugged Isral's leg

"That's so cool!" she squealed. Isral picked up Milo and hugged her.

"It is very cool.. ahe.."
