everything i hear about the stock market makes me want to die
#i dont know much about it#but the idea of having to use it sickens me#like buying stock in a company helps them so you dont want to buy stock in stuff like oil companies or amazon but those are your best bet t#to actually make money#and theres people out there who make more money than i could dream of JUST by buying and selling stocks strategically.... ok...#and it feels so exploitative like it seems the ppl who make big money on the stock market are doing it by scamming ppl#like you wanna buy low and sell high right? but someone on the other end has to be selling low (to you) and buying high (from you)#ik sometimes ppl get lucky buying into a small startup that makes it big but that cant be the majority#like. its literally gambling#but you have to do it to make money? idk#i hate it so much#suicidal ideation tw#im only a little bit exaggerating about it making me want to die honestly#its not pervasive tho dw about me#just when i think abt it...#i talk#original#stocks#stock market#money#capitalism
