apparently if you pressure astarion into sex after his confession in act 2 he'll straight up dump you, which makes me happy to hear because he's developing his boundaries and relearning self worth. it's a hard scene to watch (and one i could never bring myself to play through personally), but i'm really glad the developers included it bc your actions should have consequences and you shouldn't be able to treat the characters like shit and have them still fawn over you. also, he says THIS in response to tav saying that he seemed to be enjoying himself, and i don't think he could get more explicitly ace unless he had a big blinking neon sign on his forehead that read ACESPEC

honestly I love sebastian rivalry but it's interesting that sebastian doesn't really treat you as a rival. he's such a nice guy that he's still just genuinely polite, as far as I recall. friendship or rivalry with sebastian is much more about whether Hawke encourages him to #stayhumble and dedicate himself to the chantry, or pushes him into a LIFE OF SIN. I'm deeply sorry to Sebastian who doesn't deserve my Hawke bullying him in this way (she is a piece of shit and doesn't care about starkhaven she just thinks its funny to corrupt the chantry boy) HOWEVER it does net you the best dialogue with Elthina where she's like "you are a TERRIBLE influence on my adoptive son." yes. yes i am. i'll have him gambling and doing cocaine by the end of the week

I can "taste" in my head pretty well and hear in my head even better though!

I think it makes me more satisfied with my art, because anything I draw will always be the only way I can see it... I've never struggled with the classic artist pain of it "looking so much better in my head" I'm always like oh hell yeah it looks so cool now that I can see it!!!

I also think it's why I have so much desire to draw. I have a lot of ideas in my head, and I want to make them real! I want to see them too!!!

I'm looking back at the manga part for episode 1013 and I love how they adapted it in the anime :0 the added scenes didn't go on for long, and it served more to put emphasis on their dialogue. It's flashy in a good way

The Unnamed stands before the doors again. The closest thing to unease wriggles amidst the hunger in her gut. Here stands her origin. The founding of erasure that was once her childhood. Where she once wept on carpeted grassy floors, curled in on herself as a means of comfort against such strange lands. She touches the same flooring now. Barely formed fingertips soothing along the unblemished texture.

She wonders what lays beyond the door opposite to the corridor.

Not once has she attempted to breach the curiosity. Hadn’t been strong enough to do so, anyways. But now she has power. She has the knowledge required to unlock barriers set by the guardian. So she does. The Unnamed feels along the entire frame, pulls it out from the flattened concept of darkness. Soon enough, there’s a fully formed door made of old wood and worn varnish.

She steps through it, but doesn’t close the door yet. Just in case something unsavory reacts to her presence; for she’s unsure where this entry is linked to.

one of my favorite things to do when replaying pmd sky is try to pay more attention to the Treasure Town residents throughout the story. there is ALWAYS new stuff after every little story beat even in places u never think to look and i find something new every playthrough. like i had no idea u could meet Sneasel as early as the start of the Dusknoir chapter!! thats so cool!!

i always consider the final moments of hellbent to be the climax of the series, they were definitely presented like one, or at least the relationship between arthur and lewis because at that moment lewis. hated arthur. lewis HATED him to drop him off the cliff. and sure it wasnt justified and he snapped out of his revenge trance soon after but he. HATED. arthur. and thats not it theres just a lot of emotions being thrown at once in this scene IVE ALREADY TALKED ABOUT IT BEFORE the fact that the gangs entire, tragic situation had to escalate to such a degree that lewis would feel something like that. everything in those moments felt so FINAL despite being in the dead middle of the plot. just put yourself in either of their shoes and just. doesnt it feel like so much, dont you just wonder? what was arthur thinking as he fell to his death, staring up at lewis' shrinking image? what was lewis thinking when he revealed himself to arthur, consciously loosening his grip on him?

i know that by definition, the climax should probably be the fifth and final video, at the most tense moment. but good lord

Went and watched the cutscenes for SaTBK with my partner yesterday! I had seen the final cutscene long ago and saw various screencaps but never got the chance to properly experience the story because the game unfortunately came out during my teenage anti-cringe period. Needless to say I now get why people say that game has the best writing for the characters

I ended up reading The Price of the Phoenix and while it didn't make me want to bleach my eyes like Killing Time, I still didn't like it as much as I hoped I would. Don't get me wrong, the homoeroticism was intriguing to me, but the actual writing and storyline itself left me with a headache. I think I get my hopes up with these books, given all of the possibilities that the written word has for Trek, and it inevitably sets me up for disappointment lol
