It was weird walking by yourself to your apartment. No matter what time it was, Peter was always by your side. It didn’t matter if he had to be somewhere when he was walking you to and from your class, this was his time with you, and he swallowed every second of it. 

You couldn’t help but envelope yourself with those memories, but the cool air whipping past your cheeks shocks you back into reality. It’s easy to reminisce about the good times with Peter, especially when you don’t have him anymore. Breaking up with him wasn’t something you ever pictured would happen, especially within this semester. 

There is nothing inherently wrong with Peter, he just had small moments that turned into bigger moments. You didn’t feel especially valued in the relationship. Sure, he gave you special attention and bombarded you with love…within closed walls. It seemed like Peter turned into a different person the minute you two were in a social setting. He started to shut you out and treat you like you guys weren’t just cuddling in his room an hour earlier. It made you feel like there was something wrong with yourself like you were something to be ashamed of. 

When you broke up with him, you didn’t let him tell his side of the story, because his fraternity brothers interrupted you before you could even finish your sentence. You left him with a ‘We’re done, I can’t do this with you anymore. You treat me like-” before the hollers from the boys behind him cut your declaration short. It wasn’t like you didn’t provide him with the opportunity to pull you aside or tell them to fuck off, you did, and he still didn’t try to make an effort with you. You thought that he was just bringing you along for when he needed some personal attention, for when he was bored. 

Walking away from him, you didn’t look back, you didn’t want to act like you’d miss him. Because you don’t, you think.

It had been a few hours after you got home, and your roommate was out with her girlfriend for the evening. Sitting on the couch watching trash TV, you hear a knock at the front door. You pause the show in front of you and walk to the door, curious as to who could be knocking on a Friday night. Coming face to face with the door, you look through the peephole. You sigh, “Fuck.” Peter was standing on the other side, hands nervously in his pockets. Resting your forehead on the wood, you have a silent debate with yourself, thinking of letting him in or not. Another knock interrupts your thoughts. 

Pulling open the door, you’re met face to face with the boy you swore you wouldn’t talk to again. There’s a good long minute where both of you don’t say anything to each other, you don’t dare look in his eyes. A silent sniffle breaks the silence. Peering up at him, his eyes begin to water and his brows pinched together. “Bug, I’m so sorry. I-”, a broken sob leaves his lips. Pulling him inside, you close the door behind you. “I don’t know what I did,” he tries to speak again, albeit shaky, “but please, I’ll do better. I’ll be better, I’ll do anything. I-I’m sorry (Y/N).”

It’s almost hard to watch the scene unfold in front of you. You know Peter won’t stop apologizing until his lungs give out, so you take his hand and lead him to the couch. He keeps repeating ‘I’m sorry’ to you, and you need to stop him before he tires himself out. You reach your hand up and cradle his face, “Hey, Peter? Just take a breath, and then we’ll talk about everything, okay my love?” 

A nod followed from the broken boy in front of you, and that was all you needed before you told him everything. You told him how you felt, asked him why he felt the need to change himself around different people, and how you two can fix this. The rest of the night was spent with many heart-to-hearts and a movie playing in the background. Everything might not be okay for now, but you went to bed in a relationship again. The morning will come and another day will pass, but for now, you’re wrapped in your comforter with Peter, and that will do.

Price is the classic "dad said he didn't want a dog". He's already got three muppets and you to look after, he doesn't need puppies in his responsibilities too. So it's only becaue he doesn't want to have any complications that he gets them all the best care items, toys, food - also takes them (by himself, because he can only trust himself not to fuck this up) to the best vet to get all their shots and checkups. You could expect him to be strict and comply with nature's laws if there's one weaker puppy in the batch, but no, he's actually making everything he can to ensure this little fella gets enough food and doesn't get bullied by its siblings. And if you see Price snoring with the puppies climbing all over him or napping on his chest? You actually didn't see anything.

He also gets matching hats for all of them.

Ghost can't even pretend he doesn't wanna cry just from looking at these little buggers. They're just so small with their tiny tails and paws sliding from under their chubby bodies, and they are so fragile and precious, and he can fit two or maybe even three in his huge palm, warm, soft bodies that trust this scary man with their tiny puppy lives... yeah, no, he's actually red-eyed and sniffling, and he can't even pin it on allergy, because then, first of all, puppies will get taken away from him, and second, he's kinda sobbing and crying very obviously. They just unlock something in him, and all his outer shell cracks. He wants to hold them a lot, but he's also so very scared of harming them, he'll need your supervision just so that he doesn't fuck his own brain with ovethinking. Talks to the puppers quietly, with that brute care, and if you tell him not to teach puppies bad words, he'll actually try to avoid cussing around them.

Once they're old enough, he's picking some skull/skeleton themed collars and accessories for them.

Gaz did his research (as per usual), so he's actually extremely efficient and good when caring for puppies. No emergency is too scary for him, he's collected and confident, and they couldn't ask to be in better hands. If they need bottle feeding, he's sitting there with a very serious face on duty, but when he thinks no one's looking, he's actually making silly faces at them (yes, like with actual babies) and absolutely smitten by them. He's set on training them and teaching them tricks, but mostly just giving them enough to excersise their bodies and brains, so he'll give a lot of attention to each one of them to see what suits them the most.

He's also taking great care of the mama dog too. A true gentleman, he is!

Soap is fucking extatic as if he just got kids. He boasts about them at any given moment, has pictures on his phone, on his lockscreen, in his wallet, one tucked into his tactical vest (to remember what he's fighting for). He'll carry them around in those baby carriers, take them everywhere to "show them the world", including top shelves, fridge insides and neighbour's lawn. He's also forgetting everything except them, his ADHD ass locks in on the cuties so he can actually miss meals and shit (Soap! Missing meals! Unheard of.) because he's just stuck there, watching them wobble around and play. Absolutelty is their favourite playground, just lays down on the floor and lets them climb around.

Constantly has treats on him, but sometimes mixes them up with his own snacks and nibbles on those himself. He's grown quite fond of the chewy sticks though, maybe he should just buy a packet for him only...

[ this was just first-person experimentation, and came in at about 840 words! a little too short for my writing blog. written informally, too, with full lowercase and such. ]

i look down at my hands as they begin to tremble. bernard would criticise me, now, if he saw the sorry state of them - raw. bleeding and blistered, without gloves. those would just be stained anyway. do they hurt? i can’t tell. can you tell me? jugglers can’t juggle with hands like this. he told me i was an acrobat, but my movements are too sluggish to be deemed acrobatics now. my name is mike. you don’t have to know my surname. 

i used to be an acrobat. the days are blurring out in front of me, and i barely remember the faces i used to cherish. would murro be angry? margie? my friends… my friends no longer. after all, nobody likes a coward and a talentless performer. they were right to laugh and jeer and snarl. joker would be having the time of his life, i guarantee, if he saw me in such a state. that snivelling fool always took pleasure in my downcast days. i was the show pony, and i revelled in the attention just as a flower soaks in sunlight. 

i think he was jealous. jealousy turned to bitter words, and bitter words turned to blood. now, despite focusing on my hands, i can feel the dull ache of where his fists once were on my body - sometimes i was too slow. sometimes i got caught. i never doubted him, even when it was better to do so. safer. i wanted to scream at him, berate him for how he treated my dear friends. my voice proved too weak too often. maybe that was the first indication of my slipping - an early one, pushed to the back of my mind and left to fester until it was all too big to ignore. i’m filled with an intense regret, one that i can’t shake away even though i try endlessly to distract myself. 

patting my clothes to locate the leather pouch hanging on my belts at all times, small red prints and drags mar my uniform. my nose wrinkles and brows furrow, a stark contrast to the cheery disposition all the kids would know. perhaps i’m one of those hopeful children, naive and blind to horror, because i don’t find any recognition in my own expression. 

it begins to rain, fat droplets pooling in my hat’s brim and spilling down. my hands are still shaking, though i force myself to sit before i fall. there’s no reason for someone like me to be so shaky, is there? i’m headstrong and leap into danger, causing it more often than not. now, sitting against the cool ground, the tears begin to finally pour down my cheeks. i can’t say i’m unashamed, having invested so much energy into always maintaining a smile, but that’s not what matters most. the park around me is eerily silent, save for the sound of my own shuddering breaths and hiccups. 

maybe they were right to abandon me here. who are “they”? does it even matter? they wouldn’t care to see me again, no matter how often i plead. my voice has died in my throat, and all i can do is sob even more. the tears carve their way through the grooves in my skin, but they can’t wash away the glaring prints of my own failures. i won’t describe to you how much this hurts: blood and ash and salt mingling together tells its own story. 

for the first time in ages, i find myself able to make my own choices. despite the bitter loneliness chewing its way through my will to continue, i stand up and tip the rainwater from my hat onto my hands. it’s better than nothing to wash everything away. damage under the surface isn’t something I can fix, but my attitude is.

taking a small palette from my pouches, i busy myself in a fight with the weather, endeavouring to paint a smile onto my cheeks. the makeup drips and smears across my skin, painting a grim picture in direct contrast to my usual upbeat nature. 

maybe, i think, this is what it all comes down to. maybe this is the end of the line.

this morose feeling spreads outwards from my thoughts alone, blanketing me in such a way that i find it difficult not to bow my head. looking toward the ground, i select a few juggling balls from my pouch without bothering to check if they match. dragging my feet along paths that i know too well, i climb onto the now-deserted stage of the hullabaloo grounds. a deep, shuddering breath moves through my body, but all i can think about is the blank aftermath. 

no one is watching as i move through my practices, silent tears rolling. the one time i look up is to check the lights, even though i know they’ve been cracked and dim for far too long.

now, this is my final performance - i have no stage. i have no audience. i have no worth.

everyone in the village hated naruto since the day he was born bc of the demon that lives in his insides somewhere (this sounds crazy if you haven't seen the show but trust me here). iruka was his teacher at school. when everyone was graduating, naruto failed and some side character told him that if he stole a secret scroll he'd pass (since he failed). they were using him tho, and were planning on killing him (i think). and then iruka goes after him and finds him with the scroll before the other person did, and was the first person to actively defend naruto, and was the first person to believe him and see him as the person he was (he's like 12 here btw). and then, iruka always acts as a father figure to naruto, and at the very end of the series, when naruto gets married, he asks iruka to be his father at his wedding. i cried like a little bitch and i swear to god i just lvoe them so much. i doubt anyone will submit them butAAAAAA. ALSO IRUKA PASSED HIM IN THE END AND GAVE HIM HIS OWN FUCKING HEADBAND!!! SOBS AND CRIES AND SCREAMS

iruka was the first person to ever believe in naruto. it’s mentioned throughout the story how much of an impact iruka had on naruto just by believing in him, and it’s super sweet. the real kicker is that at the end of the show, naruto asks iruka to play the role of his father at his wedding, and i will never not cry about it!! literally look at them!!! never shutting up about this!!

so i dont have much to yap about at this moment but i just got back from school SOOOO ill yap about that!!

starting off strong i woke up an hour + 15 mins late and had 20 minutes to get ready and eat... i was almost late this morning BUT i have fitness first thing in the morning on my a-days (we work on an a/b schedule!!) and my teacher always comes late to that!! so i had time to dress down and i BOOKED IT to the weight room + made it!! in that class we basically just do weightlifting + my usual partner wasnt there bc she had a golf tournament... so i was with some of my other friends for lifting!! was kinda thriving bc my other partner usually does heavier weights + they did lighter ones SO I WAS REALLY REALLY FAST W MY SETS i was very proud!!

then i went into second period (i have bio) and we were doing a lab where we examined some cells in onions, tomatoes, + the inside of our cheeks (ew) but basically we had to group up and im not rly fond of one of the girls that r in my group cause she doesn't talk much she just squeezes in to look through the microscope so it annoys me 😞 ANYWAY THE LAB WAS LIGHT WORK GOT IT DONE IN 30 MINS and then i had like an hour of free time after that so i asked for a hall pass and i roamed the halls for a bit 😸 after that i have to go to advisory + i was just helping people w math hw and doing some of the nyt games to kill my boredom (oh and drivers ed stuff!!)

at lunch i was just sitting with some of my friends and playing imessage games with them 😭 then we went into the gym and played volleyball for a bit!!

OH my glob there is nothing in the world that can make me happier than this game,, dont get me wrong i love my boyfriend but this is just such an amazing game im going to fucking cry when i finish it because the first time experience will be over,, but !! ive been savouring it as much as i can

as i get closer to beating the game and saving all the toads i can find along the way, its still really weird seeing the stadium of toads filling up so much.. like what im just a guy- BRO and - mmmmMMMM

i havent played many mario games but this is absolutely by far my favourite mario iteration as a character. he is so silly and so goofy and hes not mean to luigi and he dances and grooves and has such a silly fun time i really hope there will be a bit more luigi content too after i save the castle or something i love them both so much

and like olivia was a lil annoying at first, some of her hints (esp during battle) can be pretty useless and she holds your hand through a lot of things,, reminding me that im playing a kids game, but ive grown to love her a lot i love how silly she is even tho she is quite oblivious sometimes. her dancing is so cute and while its not like technically her form or whatever its so cool seeing her fold into the different vellumentals!!!

um.. anyway. moving on from my heartbreak theres just like a kajillion reasons to love this game, and while i dont have the comparison of the other paper marios i have no clue how the hell this one is deemed as the worst one!! sure the combat is a little weird but its puzzling and challenging and so unique!! ..albeit i dont like doing it over and over and over but as you get more health you get stronger and can just smack em with ur hammer and not have to fight them which i REALLY appreciate

anyways it just has so much in it and i love the puzzles and the silly little things inside i love the sneaky stuff and 😭 the shogun theatre show was just amazing. idk how many hours of gameplay i have in it so far but it feels like eons /pos

i dont think ive ever had a game that ive hyperfixated on so hard that has made me smile and laugh and cry so much this will forever hold such a strong place in my heart and while i cant wait to finish it i absolutely never want it to be over

so that being said!! if this IS the "worst paper mario game" then honestly all i have to look forward to is up!! i love the toads so much i love the silly ways you find them.... im also curious what wouldve happened if i agreed w the folded soldier in the very beginning and went yeah!! being folded sounds amazing sign me up!! .........bro........ that could open up a whole alternate storyline gameplay. probably not but like imaging it is so cool!! like.. mario gets folded and then instead of saving toads he folds em up n is on a quest to put all the ribbons in place or something

This post involves spoilers to the episode and is entirely my commentary on watching it!!

To start this rewatch off we meet the first episode. The one that sets the stage of what's to come, and damn IS this an episode. I lied abit about watching this for the second time because I have seen this episode one twice. More so one scene being prominate but I didn't give enough of my attention to the opening scene.

Here we see the sisters. (A lot of these screenshots I took are of them being together because they actually make me want to SOB and throw myself onto the floor in shambles.)

Powder's song is almost haunting in a way, as we see moments later of Vander and the total fucking destruction (which I didn't remember this scene all that great so holy shit this was such an interesting way to set the stage and tone of things.)

Another photo of the sisters because like above. They make me want to sob. VI LOOKS SO BROKEN TOO. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE HER A HUG FFS.

I really really appreciate the color. The way everything is shaded and just too, the way things are-- Vander. I'm guessing this is how they met and he took them in?? I'd assume. Might have missed some kind of subtext but it definitely is an emotional look combined with the utter emotion behind both of them. Too with Powder's singing.

AND HERE WE ARE! This scene I have the most familiarity with. I really do like how everything is colored as well. Mylo and Claggor alongside them <- I did not memorize their names before EITHER WHICH IS WRONG. They do seem like cool characters, but LOOK AT THIS SHOT. Topside really be having EVERYTHING.

I was going to entre a joke here about Powder almost falling off the building and Vi grabbing her arm and show a picture of Catadora from princess prom to say something but I forgot the punchline and I didn't take it. Not the same energy either, but my brain was trying to think up a silly joke.

I had to take a screenshot of the Kiramman place-thingy. It's so funny- I missed that detail last time. Imagine robbing the girl's families' place that's going to be your love interest. CANT RELATE LOL. But hey!! I thought it was really funny Mylo commenting about them locking their balcony alongside Vi just kicking the fucking door open. SUCH A SLAY move. We love, we stan!!!!

(Also to note, its such a cool frame to just pause and look at in finer detail. It's got so much stuff to look at. I know I didn't take more shots of Powder with the orb ball thing, but I really thought everything in the place was super unique and even through them robbing the place it was fascinating the part where Powder finds the sandwich and just ate ONE BITE of it and going oooo what's this thing. I CAN'T. Girl eat more of the sandwich, you're leaving too much behind!!!! AT LEAST TAKE IT WITH YOU.)

Mylo commenting about his new shirt and getting cut off by Vi kicking him down was so goofy. If you KNOW. But too-- This color pallet. I know I keep saying that but even the topside shitty parts are pretty. TOPSIDE REALLY BE HAVIN EVERYTHING.

UGH GOD I HATE THIS PART BECAUSE THEY WERE DOING SO GOOD. Mylo is such a stupid idiot. More of the sisters because I can't. I actually can't. Someone's gonna skin me if I say that when I first saw Powder I thought of 2-D from Gorillaz. It's the blue hair okay. I DON'T EVEN LISTEN TO THEM. Derailing this episode mb.

All this violence and then its Powder. I got so frustrated when they started chasing her with the stuff too. Was truly rooting for her. Every time I see the scene too I always wish she succeed.

SHE LOOKS SO FUCKING BADASS. LOVE HER. Love the buzzed fade thing so MUCH. The hair. It's everything. SHE is everything.

I always want her to win. I always do. She deserved so much better than how they treated her. Her inventions, she truly was so misunderstood. Never given a chance and written off. I really liked the writing but like holy fuck it was so infuriating because you just want the best for her with all that's happening. You want her to win...

He said it. He said the thing.

He should fuck off and die but HE SAID THE THING.

I cut out most of the part where we saw The Last Drop and Vander talking to those people about negotiating things. Dunno what to comment about that whole segment but Vander coming to chew out Vi once they all came back. I think the whole part where he coaches her about being a leader was a good message. About how she needs to be less reckless and more strategic because people look up to her- Especially Powder. And then not only that, but their health is also in her hands if she is being reckless.

Vander asking if she put that guy on his ass after chewing her out is such an Eda moment but also such a good parent moment. I love when we have that be a trope(?) with fictional parents. Chew the shit out of your kid and then be like "but you still kicked their ass, right?" Slay shit right there.

Ekko. I NOTICED THE FUCKING DETAIL ABOUT "LITTLE MAN."

HE GAVE THEM THE INFO. I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT LAST TIME OMFG. It's all coming together. The air fighting 💀.

More of the sisters because they deserve better. Vi being supportive of Powders inventions. It all makes me emotionally unstable /pos.

Then there's this. The way the scene ended. I'm not sure how else to comment on it all but I really wanted to insert this photo because its such a nice shot of the lanes and then them in scale of it all. Kinda symbolic to an extent. (I hope I got that right? Undercity verses The Lanes was confusing me on the difference.)

Anyway ahhh THIS EPISODE WAS SO GOOD. Sorry if I seemed dry at all in any of my parts. It's like- I dunno what else to say at times but I really really enjoyed it. I think seeing this show again is going to really inspire me in more ways than just "ooo show" but it's just SUCH a neat looking world. World building is such an important aspect of stories to me, it needs to have a good and interesting world for me to feel a good hard urge to invest into the content.

One of the reasons why I fell in love with TOH so hard was BECAUSE of its world. (among other things *cough cough* wlw)

The world is such a important piece in storytelling. Characters too, and sometimes they matter more because they can fall flat if they aren't written good. But everything that goes into the world is such an engaging thing.

With this episode it didn't feel like- Boring or anything at all. (I have a short attention span at times and sometimes my mind will just be like "ughhhh") WHICH IS AWESOME. These episodes are literally 45 minutes so like wtf. If a show can do that shit- Damn dude they're cooking SO hard.

I'm not even a LoL fan or like knowing of that lore, and I'm sure knowing of that stuff would make things even more interesting with lore (am a SUCKER for lore too) but even as it stands it's such an Indepth show. (I mean that as in it's not kid-ish. THERES MEAT TO IT.)

I'm so ready for episode two!!!

1. Mirotic (this one I may as well technically exclude from the list because it's its own entity). I know this song is scoffed at lately even by Cassies, but idgaf. It was my first music video of theirs, it's what made me fall in love with them, it was my first look at Yunho and the ruination for my standard for men everywhere. Mirotic means too much to me to ever hate.

2. Love in the Ice. She's my favorite tvxq ballad. She's everything. I slowed down to the speed limit near the end of my drive today so she could finish, that's how much I love her. She never fails to make me sob, and today was no exception. Probably the only tvxq song I don't really want to hear a re-recorded duo version of, and that is saying a ton.

3. Wrong Number: classic, iconic, sexy. Suits!!!!!!! I don't have the Yunho focus mv version saved on a hard drive what are you talking about????.....

4. You're My Melody: this one and Picture of You were in a fight before I even listened to the album, but this one did indeed hit me a little bit more. I think I just connect it more to college days.

5. Hey! Don't Bring Me Down: more iconic moves. I seem to recall camo pants and black tank tops. It was always on my work out playlists back in the day. A jam.

6. Picture of You: I think Hey! beat it out only because I lean more toward upbeat intense songs in general. Still a lovely, nostalgic song

7. Are You a Good Girl: the last one I was right about in my instinct choices. Similar to Hey! in that I want to jam. Diggidumdum.

8. Paradise: This one started and I was like OH RIGHT YESSS and immediately pushed it up in my brain. I think the top 7 are just so intrinsically a part of my kpop awakening and college experience, that that's why the last 5 are where they are. So many tvxq songs are basically written on my bones, though.

9. Forgotten Season: when this one started I was like hmmmm I kind of remember it? But I'm ambivalent. And then I was like, oh okay. Jae solo. And then as usually happens when I listen to Jaejoong sing, he hit a note that made me go OH MY GOD FINNNNEEEE 😭😭😭 and rank it higher. Still one of my fave voices in all of kpop.

10. Flower Lady: I remembered this one better than I thought I would. Very pretty and sweet.

11. Crazy Love: I heard this one for the first time IN AGES the other day, so I thought it would be higher out of nostalgia. But it's just okay for an upbeat song.

12. Rainbow: no shade, bb. I'm a firm believer that tvxq, whether as 5 or 2, don't have a bad song to their name. But this one isn't one of my faves. Pretty standard filler imo.

There it is. The ranking. It HURT but also I'm kind of cool with my instinctive choices being pretty accurate. It's a king of albums situation, and I love it so.

Reblogging this again, this time with an essay (sort of) for TDKR because it has now occurred to me that it's losing. So just hear me out on this.

(Warning now that this is somewhat long and without pictures. Although I may add some later.)

Now as much as I love Weblena and Violet's introduction in Friendship is Magic as much as any other person, The Duck Knight Returns is just too powerful of an episode to compare. (Plus there's plenty of other amazing Weblena episodes that aren't as appreciated and you should definitely vote for as well)

Or you may be finding Darkwing in DT2017 fairly annoying as he gets so much screentime that could've been used for the actual show itself, and that I understand. Especially with the fact that Lets Get Dangerous is 40 minutes long and has much more going on; we don't need all the DWD episodes to win the poll, let alone this one.

However, I actually find TDKR a stronger episode than LGD. Yes, I know. And before you all murder me for that, let me explain myself on why it's so good and underappreciated

It's not just a Darkwing introduction episode (which by itself is already so so amazing), it shows DuckTales 2017's struggles of being a reboot of an old loved TV show.

There's so much symbolism behind this episode, such as LP and Starling representing the old die-hard fans who can't accept new things, and the "Darkwing: First Darkness" movie producer guy (forgot his name sob) representing the people who are just taking advantage of the old shows popularity to make something out of it only what they want it to be. But I guess Dewey and Scrooge play that role as well.

Then there's Drake, the fan of the old show who's making something new out of it, and mentions, "Look, I know this new movie's not perfect, but I really want to make it better. And maybe someday I'll inspire some other kid like me." He's not trying to ruin the show into what he thinks is best, he is a true fan who genuinely wants to make the best of something he loves. And that represents the DT2017 writers.

So go try and tell me the writers weren't using this episode to call out their experiences while working on DuckTales. This episode was definitely their way of expressing their intentions behind the reboot.

Now onto the second point. Not counting the fact that it is literally showing us what the creators intentions behind creating the show, the episode as a DWD introduction by itself is absolutely so genius.

For example, Jim Starling being NEGADUCK from the 1991 Darkwing TV show caught me so off-guard and is SO PERFECT AND FITTING. I did not see that twist coming. (I should've, though. I'm ashamed to say I didn't expect it despite the chainsaw and the other dead giveaway details). This gives us a whole new look at Negaduck, who in the original show, was merely existing to be an evil clone of Darkwing. Now he gets a more complex backstory and character just how Glomgold did!

Additionally, Drake's attitude of "get back up" was a really cool character motif that I think the original show missed the opportunity to give to their Darkwing. It may be just me, but I love this idea of Drake having this reason to be so willing to fight crime and never give up, its the extra character lore we never knew we needed.

AND HOW CAN I FORGET DRAKEPAD? (Not necessarily as a couple; I do ship them but this is not about that right now) Their dynamic here is just so powerful; no offense to the og DWD, but I prefer that DT2017 Drake and LP have something to bond over rather than the idol-worship dynamic they had in the 1991 show.

In conclusion, this episodes writing is so clever and I could spend so many more hours rambling about how good it is. It deserves to pass at least the second round. Unfortunately, this is already getting really long (also I'm on mobile and its a real pain to type :,D).

Vote for The Duck Knight Returns, one of DuckTales 2017's best episodes.

Do it for its brilliant writing. Do it for Darkwing's introduction into DuckTales 2017. Do it for Drakepad.

favourite thing about them: i really do think he's the most autistic persona protagonist eheheh ^_^ i love all of his intriguing + strange characteristics (like the engine imitations and um . bisexuality . and how in ep he buys a new lighter even though it's obviously not the same cuz he's so used to having one .. guh) and how he's still COOL, and like, FUN and KIND and ADMIRED. even his unwavering resolve in ep after he's been broken down .... i really look up to him a lot to be honest ^_^)/

least favourite thing about them: nope ! nothing ! the more i think about him the more i love him unconditionally .

favourite line: tatsuya's scenario in psp punishment makes me so so so sick in the head . but i replay it like once every two months anyway "if you want my life, i'll give it to you. if you tell me to fall into darkness, i'll do it. but i won't let anyone have their way with Maya-nee... or this world where my friends live." like the whole thing makes me sob and cry uncontrollably . i would quote it all here if i had any less self-control ^_^;;

brOTP: i love how the cast of innocent sin especially is sointerwoven with their friendships ... i just can't pick one !!!!!!!!! i can't pick ^_^ the team in that game is phenomenal .. not really brOTP .. but tatsuya and katsuya have such an interesting relationship to me, and feel like real brothers . i love it :] !!!!!!!!!

OTP: ofc ... tatsujun . their tiny victories in this godforsaken world are everything to me

nOTP: odd one ... because i love unrequited/otherwise impossible tatsumaya ... but i just can't stand it when it actually happens ? ^_^;; it's so much more interesting to me if it doesn't happen ! but there is still something kind of there ... if you get what i mean !

random headcanon: i like to think about what happens on the other side after tatsuya returns there at the end of ep . i think he and katsuya make up (as much as they can anyways) and look after a vegetable patch ... +++ shiori being a big sis to tatsuya ! i love shiori so much ... i wish we got to see more of them interacting !!

unpopular opinion: i feel like a little hater saying this after waxing poetic about how much i love him ... but i prefer maya as a protagonist ! it's not because of the adult-oriented perspective of ep ... i just think he works better and more interestingly as a party member ! and maya is so fun to play as ^_^)/ !!!!!

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 Anime Review

First part of this season by episode 5 I was disgusted. You see the team get back together well partially and then watch each die. The moment I saw them kill of Akutagawa I went sick. Literally watching them hurt Tachihara irritated me.

They were killing people off left and right and you also saw them all start getting turned into vampires because of Fukuchi that runs the hunting dogs. He is almost invincible I mean I used to think that Fyodor was the worst but this guy is way worse. I would much rather deal with Fyodor, however him killing (knocking him out fingers crossed) Sigma annoyed me cause Sigma grew on me.

I thought Dazai had knocked him off by drowning him to find out SOB still survived. But when that vampire shoved that pole into his stomach I almost rejoiced like if it was the wicked witch dead kinda thing. As time goes on its not hard to see Ranpo is the one controlling most of this season. Its different because he is always the one that only steps up in criminal things but damn this boy taking over and stepping up and being in control and dominant makes him so hot.

Watching Fukuzawa get stabbed broke my heart was so glad it ended up not killing him. Then I had to watch him his childhood best friend which brought me to tears. I hated Fukuchi it felt like no one could beat that asshole not even Jouno.

Is it bad I still feel like Jouno reminds me of saint germain in code realize lol.

I loved how Kenji handle things with Tetchō Suehiro, because he flipped his shit and honestly I had no clue this boy was so deadly he looks so cute all the time. Haha guess you really do have to worry about the sweet looking ones. I mean take Ranpo this season he stepped his shit up so much that I felt like season 4 and 5 gave him a directive of who he was. Not gonna lie though I was worry Kenji would kill him and that would have been a waste cause Tetchō Suehiro is hot.

The vampire king Bram the connection he made to Aya Koda then for you to see its because she reminds him of his daughter that I presume died or he lost. Then when she saves him and he bows before her I loved it he was like I'm lord and count but in this moment I am your knight, that was sweet and honorable too.

I didn't like Akutagawa being a vampire however at the very end when him and Atsushi were taking in that last fight I loved know that Akutagawa was back to his normal self as hot as ever.

I feel like season 5 was all over the place however its a season that keeps you on edge because when you think you know whats going to happen something happens changing that. I will say after all the seasons this is still by far my favorite anime because there are hot guys in it, great voice actors, cool characters and abilities, it has the ability to make me laugh, get angry, get happy, and cry all in one show. Thats not something you find often and for that reason I can't wait for more of this show.

Some other honorable mentions of this season. Dazai of course even though he was behind the scenes alot he was also deep in Fyodor's head and the reason that man is dead. Then psycho dude Nikolai Gogol weird he is a cool looking character but I swear he is sadistic and weird and the reason why the set in motion for the detective agency to get so messed up. He can look cool just wish he would look cool and shut up.

Chuuya pretending to be a vampire was different like to me there wasn't enough Chuuya in this season and I would have loved to see him as a vampire without the stupid red eyes. I thought they really messed up the look of the vampires in that way.

Also this was a cool move Akutagawa did and is it just me but before he became a vampire that man got hotter, maybe its just cause I went season 4 without him and Chuuya for the most part so I became touch starved by these men.

Granted some of the others were in the picture but very little besides Atsushi he is always the heart in the background or in the front and I love him for that. Not to mention when him and Akutagawa fight and he gives the were tiger his power too so bad ass.

Anyways now I get to go through withdraw until a new season however you can plan to see some fan fic some hot and steamy as well as fluff of these sexy men. If you have yet to see it definitely check it out. Its not normally my type but the characters are so relatable, sexy, charming etc you won't want to stop watching.
