I just love to imagine that over time, as they fall more and more in love, any insults they throw at each other just end up sounding so adoring that it starts to irritate them that they can't seem to hide it

Like Shigaraki's pulling his hair out in his room trying to think of a way to call Dabi a dumbass without it sounding like a marriage proposal

Thank you brain for supplying me with an AU where Fiddleford's memory gun memories get compiled into a drive that, when uploaded into his computer, create an artificial intelligence version of him that old Fiddleford encounters. And his reaction is just "i reckon I should be concerned by this... eh I'll just turn it into a robot." And he engineers the computer into a humanoid robot to live it's life by its own merit.

And guilt-ridden Ford attaches himself to this robot as its the closest thing he has to the companion he once knew (as much as you can play pretend, Old Man McGucket has literally lost his mind and will probably never recover the way Stanley has) and it spirals until RoboFid has to end it like "I'm not your friend, Stanford. I'm a monstrous amalgamation unwanted memories spanning a little over 30 years with no form of identity. I can't be the person you want me to be, I don't even know who I want to be! And you need to let me go."
