i've had a stuffy nose and a headache for a week now what is happening

#it's too early in the year for colds #i NEVER get sick. like maybe once a year or every other year tops #and when i do i feel better after like 4 days #i don't FEEL sick but i don't feel normal ykwim??#i took 3 covid tests and they all came back negative so it's not covid at least #if i do get colds it's usually not until november or december #i've had the last 4 days off work and i've been sleeping more and taking care of myself so idk why i'm not feeling any better #i really don't need this on top of everything else going on this week #amori rambles

Man, seeing all the valentines day decorations in stores n shit is just reminding me how much I fucking Hate valentines day

#speculation nation #negative/#it was the last normal day my dad was alive. he went to the hospital in the early am hours of the 15th and died early on the 17th #he liked bringing the daily papers with him in his lunchbox to work. the very last one that we found tucked inside was for the 14th.#i had a valentines day date planned for the evening of the 16th. canceled of course.#i wasnt too fond of the holiday even before last year. as a grey aro that struggles with these things i find it too saccharine and stifling #but now all i can think about when i see those decorations is the fact that he mightve drunk himself into organ failure that night #the final straw on the camel's back. it all came crumbling down.#wonder if i can end up with a romantic partner that doesnt care about valentines day. it's kind of the expectation if ur dating someone #to care about it. but i dont wanna. id rather just plug my ears and wish it all away.#wake me up when september ends and all that business. except it's february for me.#sigh. i swear im doing okay with the Grief Recovery and all that shit. but it's gonna get rougher again as it draws closer.#an anniversary. as remarkable and horrible as the first year since your father died.#need to lay off trying to join any dating apps until after this. given how quickly i succeeded in finding someone with the first try #i dont wanna be seeing anyone by the time that date rolls around. itd make me sick to try to celebrate valentines day this year.#who knows maybe ill crack open a cold one in his honor. as a fun little joke.

I kinda wanna make freebies/friendship bracelets for TDS3 but the thing is…. I’m shy lol so I don’t think I’d be able to just go up to people and ask if they want any so I’d be left with a bunch after the concert

The cold weather reminded me that I had an idea with some of my human OCs huddled up in a queen size bed all cuz a blizzard took out their power and one of them happens to be super hot blooded

From left to right: Tamiko (from Japan), Aidan (from Ireland), Wilhelm (from Germany), and Ariana (from Spain). They all have super powers but Aidan is the one pyrotechnic in the crew, therefore making him very useful during New York winters. I’ve had these characters for over ten years but unfortunately I go through phases and current one is Sonic so uhh, yeah. oh yeah and also, I'm pretty sure all of my houseplants are dead. for some reason someone decided that outside would be a good place to store them. they've been there all of February and March. I saw them like a month ago but it stressed me out so much that I think I tried to forget about it. every time I see them now I feel like shit :)

#I've had some of these plants for a long time #like my snake plant. I got that one for my 20th birthday from someone I haven't talked to since I was 21 #that plant is 12 years old and it got huge and everything #I haven't checked. I just saw the cardboard box and some of the plants and immediately stopped paying attention because it made me too sad #I killed them :(#all of them :(#there were quite a few #maybe a few of them survived. I don't know #like that snake plant - I thought it was a fake plant for the first like 3 or 4 years I had it (it was my first plant that wasn't a cactus)#so I didn't water it once in that time #and it was completely fine #but it was still quite cold in early February. so. it's probably dead. I don't really want to find out 😭#personal
