I recall saying this before, but it bears repeating:

There could be a billion trans people in the world and it still wouldn't be a bad thing because being trans is not a bad thing. Even if the rate of people discovering they are trans is "disproportionate" to trends from decades ago, that is not a bad thing. In fact, it's a natural consequence for there being more trans people being able to stay alive, and, overall, being able to live in a slightly more tolerant world. You'd only see that as a bad thing if you actively didn't want trans people to either live or live a life that facilitates wellness.

I’ll be honest I get soooo giddy whenever an ISAT fanwork depicts that the Mirabelle/Siffrin relationship is equally as important as the Isabeau/Siffrin one. My boss called me into her office to teach me how to use a new platform, but had to take a call immediately after I sat down. So while she was talking, I pulled up a document to take the notes on and got everything ready. I generally make my personal notes tacky/gaudy/otherwise fun to look at since I'm the only one who sees them but may need to occasionally open them up to refer to them.

After hanging up the phone, she turned, looked at my screen, and said "What is that."

And I'm like "whenever I take notes that I know for a fact no one else will ever need a copy of, I pretty them up :)"

She just shook her head and said "Don't worry about doing all that."

"Oh, I know, I do it for me! It makes learning more-"

"Yeah, just don't do that."
