This is just a lil thing for fun, it is serious but it's mostly just screwing around to see what sticks. I've been meaning to mess with an infection AU for a bit now, and MLP in general I used to love this show growing up and as someone who adores horror and silly zombie plots this is exactly up my alley thank you

This blog is mostly based around Rustbark Disease, which is the in-universe nickname for it, or Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae/Cedar Apple Rust. I love timber wolves, they're neat, and I haven't seen many people use them for one of these AUs just yet so I looked for some tree diseases and bonk, angry puppy. Also gave me an excuse to draw one with a birch body and weird elk-looking antlers, I love making a bunch of variants for things that do not need them. I'll probably make a post about timber wolf variants later on but for now: horror stuff!!

TWs for typical scaries below the cut, body horror, violence, it's based on a fungus disease so pretty much if The Last of Us freaks you out maybe don't, I suck at TWs I am sorry

I do have St3 mostly drawn but aaagh I don't wanna draw this many of what feels like the same thing to my brain so.... haha.. I'll probably scrap it

It moves a bit slower and is a bit less dramatic than some I've seen, but in my defense I am a nerd who loves doing research and most diseases tend to move kinda slow in most cases. I personally feel like that's scarier, anyways. The slow, drawn-out takeover is great for horror.

The infection is based off of a few different things, color-coded for your convenience. Primarily, the real-life Gymnosporangium juniperi-virginianae, or cedar-apple rust is a big inspiration. The fungus is non-lethal to the plant and mostly affects the appearance, so, with it mainly being transmitted by Timber Wolves, I also felt it made sense to base it off of diseases like Rabies and, since I design Timber Wolves with ungulate-like antlers, Chronic Wasting Disease/CWD. In the final stage, the infected collapses and the body begins to rot, but the fungus and spores continue to prosper.

It is inspired by games like The Last of Us and perhaps some Dying Light, but is not by any means a direct copy of anything. I tried to avoid taking inspiration from other AUs because I simply wanted to go wild with my imagination, so from here on out any unintentional similarities are purely coincidence.

All ponies (except for Zecora) shown in this post are nameless ocs for the point of showing off the disease.

All parts of this will be tagged with #Gymnosporangium, #Rustbark, and #Cedar Apple Rust, for the sake of simplicity. Non-canon entries have #Branch as a tag, as a silly little pun about trees and how it branches off from the main series, and designs I've made for the series are, of course, tagged #Design, as well as the character's name. Art that isn't mine is tagged #Not My Art, of course, such as edits or.. I dunno, picrews or something. Each post will have involved characters' names tagged as well. I never fully finished the original series and am in fact not too far in rewatching sadly, but I will strive for diversity as well as I can.

book is: about a not nessisarily romantic but definitely bizzarely close feel free to read it however you want im not making anyone kiss project whatever you want onto them, story of a bunny girl superhero with a murder problem , and her wholesome supervillain bestie who wants nothing more than to save her, with fun themes such as found family , memory loss, and of course, miserable children, also the supervillain is a theater kid with a heart of gold and a cup of tea <3

a mix of silly and serious, I put a lot of my heart into it! And it would have been done sooner, but well i kind of got kidnapped so that kind of slowed down most of my writing and other projects for a bit there, it was only for an afternoon, no one got hurt, but it was kind of weird. it was a sort of well intentioned kidnapping though and the lady who did it is getting professional help now which is great, so im just happy she and everyone else is okay :)

I made this book wanting to make a fun world and characters and setting and stuff anyone could enjoy and find interesting, and I think the magic system in place in this lil superhero book (based somewhat on magical girl anime-) will be a fun setting for fanfics and fanart and stuff, and im SUPER excited to see if anyone makes ocs or anything for it because that'd be super cool and I love seeing other people be creative-

4. im doing this partially with the thought that i could mostly make money off this via selling my own art of it and possibly a game based on halcyon...if so, then i may just post any future books online too, any thoughts guys? are these fair rules? any additions youd add? things like that? thoughts? I also have other books that I plan to publish more traditionally, This is kind of a test to see what works best really. I guess! If this takes off i might stick to free books only, if not, well publishing traditionally it is, whatever I need to do to get by you know? gotta make a living.

My Plants!!! [in pot height order, ignore the shotty editing]

Mr. Silly Goofy

this is Mr. Silly Goofy. He's the original, he started out as a small lil offshoot of another succulent, and now he's his own lil guy! [I refer to Mr. Silly Goofy using He/Him pronouns.]

He's been a bit busy producing a new leaf. I think he may be a Kalanchoe Dwarf Hybrid, since afaik he's similar to some Kalanchoe succulents, but he has his own distinct features.

The lil pink cup you see in the background is his old pot. I actually recently repotted him! Also, he has a lil bead. It wasn't in his original pot, but when I repotted my narcissus, one of the beads fell into the potting mix.

he also used to have a name tag! I mean, he still has it, but since the pink cup will be repurposed, i figured I might as well tape the ol' nametag to the bottom of his lil well-plate.

Jimmy Carter Hughes-Neutron

The Aloe Vera! His name is Jimmy "Jimney" Carter Hughes-Neutron. [naming like this will continue with my other plants.]

Amusingly, the Jimmy Carter name came from a friend BEFORE he died, so it's mostly unrelated to his death. I bought him for $5 from a plant sale. He's the only one I haven't repotted! [Also use He/him for 'em.]

The lil Q-Tip is because the day I bought him, I was hanging out with a friend, and we were doing art together. There were some q-tips lying in the open, and I was like: "...Lil sword."

So I grabbed the Q-tip and stuck it in his pot. It used to be at the edge of the pot, but I actually moved it inwards today to act as a sort-of stake, since the guy was leaning pretty severely [he was at a 45° angle, literally.]

He also has a new little sprout! [lil yellow thing.]

Narcissus :]

THE NARCISSUS!!! I've had him for such a long while and I've yet to give him a name! Quite a shame, honestly. I think he rather quite likes this pot! He has a few beads with him too from his old one so he didn't completely ditch his roots! :]

If you guys have any name suggestions, let me know! [I use he/him for the guy :3]

Drogas Queso Lacey Nerve-Plant

Last but [Certainly] not least, Mr. Drogas Queso Lacey Nerve-Plant!!!! Yes, he has like 2 first names that are in spanish [Drugs and Cheese], but who cares!!!! [If you've noticed, all my plants use he/him.]

This is actually him before & after I pruned him. Unfortunately, I forgot to water him for a bit, and he... well, you can see how much I trimmed.

He was actually the second plant I got! First was Mr. Silly Goofy! I got this lil guy at a local fair I performed at! [I also saw some live axolotls there, which was nice :3]

I'm hoping he'll bounce back, he's still a bit green at the bottom so he's not completely gone!

Anyways, despite my tactile botanophobia, I am taking care of them! They are thriving! [Well, except Drogas, but.... I'm trying.]

I keep 'em all near the window in my kitchen, which is curtained, but it faces roughly the south, so the sun rises there, and there's a decent amount of light that comes in during the day!

I also keep any animals away from them. I learned the hard way when my stepmom's dog, Stryder, knocked over Mr. Silly Goofy within like a week of having him [Mr. Silly Goofy]. Was not a good time, but he's doing alright now!

Okay! Time to spill the tea, except it's not really tea, it's more like lukewarm juice aka my future plans and some more ramblings.. ahem ⚆_⚆

First of all, I wanna say just how much I enjoyed creating Somnium. It all started during lockdown... I found myself working from home full-time, I had the perfect excuse to be the homebody I was born to be, I had a lot of time on my hands, and once I found simblr I couldn't resist joining in. It didn't take too long before I decided to hop on the storytelling train and before I knew it, I had a new hobby! Except.. that hobby kinda consumed me. I didn't even know where it was going to begin with, but the more involved I got, the more obsessed I became. Hyperfixations amirite?

The point being.. I think I spent a little too much time on Somnium, which left me little time for much else and I don't want to fall down that hole again. In the future I'd like to challenge my perfectionism! What does that mean? Well, it means not making poses for every scene, it means not being restricted by a complicated overarching plot that requires forced filler scenes and timelines and needs to make sense, it means less dialogue, or gasp! no dialogue at all, it means not getting hung up on continuity with editing and g-shade and font style and blah blah etc etc. I'd even like to incorporate some gameplay too, since I miss just.. playing now n' then.

I want the freedom to think of something silly, or weird, or completely off topic and to be able to run with it instead of being bound by a plot that needs to progress. Am I making sense? I hope I'm making sense. Basically, I'm calling this next venture a "story not story" because rather than it having one large plot, it's going to be more like clusters of subplots with some gameplay, weirdness or silliness in between...

Forever In Between will kick off around about two years after the events of Somnium. Mostly focused on Oscar and his family, we'll join them on the journey of life as Robin and his siblings grow up in the Bay.

We'll also spend some time with other favourites too like Noah n' co. Salton, Ivan & Bruno, Suzie, Miya & [redacted] and Matilda, among others! Maybe we'll even see what Wyatt's up to at some point 👀 As we all know, life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, but Forever In Between (or fib for short) will be a lot less heavy, though hopefully no less interesting!

Obviously, I don't have any set plans but I have a few specific scenes and ideas in mind already, as well as some vague subplots planned for most, if not all of the main characters from Somnium.

Also! Although Oscar is very much still a main character, he'll be sharing the spotlight with Robin too, as I have a lot in mind for that special lil' guy.. tehe!

So, what's next?! I want to make a lil promo before I start and then I've gotta.. y'know, actually start working on it. I have the first few scenes in mind but then we're wingin' it baby! The best plan is no plan and all that... I'm being kind to myself though, so idk when we'll start, real soon though!

I've already given everyone makeovers and gotten a few of the main builds out of the way, enough for me to get started at least, and I'd like to make a new navigation/pinned post too.

I wanna be more organised as well, so story posts will be tagged as "forever in between" & "fib" and bloopers, extras, builds, cas pics etc etc. will be tagged as "fib" & "fib extras"!

Hi hi!! As promised!! How did Aster get her name? So curious about how they settled on that!!

" Well mom loves gardening! ever since she picked up that garden when she was younger its been one of her favorite things. " Aster snorts, waving a hand around. " Personally, couldn't care less about gardening, too boring! HAH! Does not stop me from being dragged away to help sometimes though, its like a really, really reallllyyy lame chore " " Mom named me and my sibling after flowers and plants, since she cherishes them a lot. Talks a lot about how its not just because she enjoys gardening, but how much seeing plants meant for her the first time she saw em... blah blah blah... N' we changed her whole world for the better too... whatever, whatever! " " That's the long "my moms super duper sentimental and sappy and yada yada" explanation! Usually I just go because of the flowers and because my mom is total nerd. " [ ooc response below ] --- Long story short, yeah it was as simple as Silver really, really took on plants, gardening, etc, as one of her favorite hobbies. Of course there's plenty of sentimental value coming from someone who was born and grew up in a wasteland of future. Aster, the oldest, as stated before is named after aster flowers, and was named mostly after appearance of the flowers ( coming in blue, pink, purple, red and white ). Aster does NOT have any interest in gardening, but does love a good flower, even if he could never be bothered to do more than admire it. She likes the name and thinks its fitting as she is pretty awesome and cool and awesome again, he's named after a pretty flower and shows that off by dressing himself up to be proud of that Aster is named after a flower, and his younger sibling ( the other jetilver / silvjet kid, owned by lethalbreadkills ) is named Calamintha ( just called Mint for short by most of her family ) and the youngest and newest edition is Zinnia ( Also owned by lethalbreadkills, Zonilver fankid ) so the flower/plant/herb theme is present through out them all! Silver did most of the naming, though now that I think about it probably discussed possible names with Jet too, to see if there was any that jet liked. So, of course the aster, which also just means star, worked out! Mint is probably the one Silver fully just went on her own with, and Zinnia IS a flower, but also keeps up that silly naming theme all the no zone residents had. Name that starts with a Z babey!!!

[ On another note, before I finish this off as I wanna clarify some things! ] - One, I'm aware silver uses he/him pronouns in canon. though in this lil au and my own personal headcanons outside of this, she is a trans woman, idk silver is so transgender to me personally. Silver being any kind of transgender is so duper duper correct, but this take specifically takes on the trans woman route - Two, while aster never refers to Zinnia as a sibling, they are infact siblings. Silver is in a polygamous relationship between jet and Zonic, Zonic and Jet aren't dating, but they're both dating Silver etc etc so don't worry! there wasn't a divorce in the slightest between Silver and Jet LMAOO

alright so first of all, thank you all for following this silly little blog that I made on a whim at the end of August. 200 followers is crazy, and I can't wait to see where this goes from here! Now, to the celebrations I have a few thoughts

This is my blog, which is mostly just something I have as a source of entertainment so I don’t start to lose my mind from total social isolation. I mostly just repost stuff, but if I ever make an original post I will tag it accordingly. I finally have gotten around to making a few tags for organizing (took me a bit, but whatever) so there will be a small list of tags at the bottom for convenience.

Also I don’t usually add trigger tags, or tag NSFW posts, I honestly for a while just used tags for commentary purposes so me having any tags at all is a new development. (PAINFUL) I bet Matthias recognizes the name Juni, at least vaguely. god, I can't wait to see his reaction, and they're all there but Nina and now there's this baby... is Wylan gonna have to go through some sort of withdrawal (ouchie) but he's ultimately gonna be okay right 🥺??

matthis and jesper probably carried kaz and wy, inej carried juni and held onto the hostage?? the hostage is vry scared of jes so he wouldn’t try anything, though his captors’ hands being quite full presents the opportunity. it’s a long way but they’ve got their horses, they’ve got their wagon, it’s all goooood.

matthias might recognize juni’s name yes… the question is whether he wants to… denial is a pretty powerful thing.

as for wylan… not quite withdrawal because van rooij did promise him he wouldn’t need to be dependent on the drug to continue experiencing its long-lasting effects after she shipped him off.

i made the specifics and nature of the drug vry intentional because it’s not just going to be important to wy’s storyline going forward, but the plot as a whole.

sorry i’m being purposefully vague because i don’t wanna spoil anything about the coming chapters!!

as for kanej, i’m vry happy u enjoyed the chapter 24 crumbs, u have no idea how hard it was to stick to the plan for the chapter to end with kaz passing out after dropping the vaguest hints of information (like the drama king he is). i was tempted to keep him awake just so he and inej could catch up on cuddling in the sand, but that might’ve been a lil awkward with the others also there experiencing like several separate crises lol. they had to move on, they’ve got things to do

hopefully chapter 25 gave u some of of the kanej fix you were hoping for! much more to come of course, i could write them endlessly

yeah i def feel they’re tryna focus on selling rn but then i mean they’re company cause it’s def the company who are coming up with the selling and merch. I think it’s also cause they’re at the peak of their career and they all need to start in listing in the army etc etc. So they’re tryna get the most out of it. yeah i think the fact that they have to enlist soon defo has influence on it. i also think they’re trying to get their strategy down before they enlist. this is so they can go to shareholders/investors/whoever with proper numbers and be like see this is what we can do, and what we can generate. then they take that model and apply it to TXT and all other artists directly under big hit. i think jin is delaying his enlistment till end of 2021 but can’t rmb if i read that from a credible source. anyway, i really wonder how they will handle things during enlistment and post enlistment.

and though you didn’t necessarily talk about it. i really have a bone to pick with the ads/brand endorsement that they are in. i mean some of the vids are pretty boring... or just like does not inspire me to buy the product. legit the guys getting caught with iphones despite being samsung endorsers is a big lol and if i am allowed to be a little critical, is sloppy on bts’ part. anyway I feel like the execution is trash when it comes to their brand endorsements lol. big hit nails the in house content production but when they partner up with other companies, it’s not great. though i feel that’s mostly on the brands and less so on big hit/bts.

these brands want bts as ambassadors to tap into the purchasing power that ARMY has. it's millions of people willing to buy anything they endorse but I just think they could do so much better. take brands like nike and adidas when they make ads, that shit moves you. you're like yeah that's sick!!! (e.g: nike’s you can’t stop us ad). yeah yeah they can’t go all out for a brand endorsement but i think they can do some low effort stuff. like downy for example could've done smth like make the guys make a fragrance, an exclusive limited edition product or capitalize on the fact that jk loves doing laundry.... maybe a cute little laundry day with jungkook and the boys lmao idk something that's just a little more genuine. it doesn't have to be cringe or high budget but at least it doesn't make me feel like it's just their name on a product. baskin robbins though they made a ‘bts flavour’ like the guys didn’t even have a hand in making the flavour? a video about them choosing the flavour would have made me go like ok i wanna try it. also they could get bts to work at a baskin robbins shops undercover or smth. idk something funny, something meme-y but perhaps bc of covid this wasn’t viable. anyway seeing them pose with ice cream doesn't make me feel like buying it lol. for Hyundai they could've done an outdoor camping episode, or a cute video about a road trip??? SOMETHING. like make me believe they actually like the products they are trying to sell at least. I want the ads to be more than them just saying look at this product hehe. like have you seen Thai ads? their stuff is top tier. and I remember the brands behind them because that's just the impact it has. maybe brand ambassador type products just are meant to be low effort. but a great brand related celebrity endorsed ad would be this one by budweiser & dwayne wade.

and to the other anon, i wouldn’t classify bts as sellouts as per se but bighit definitely has a very aggressive sales strategy. can’t say i’m the expert on sales and marketing but idk if this model is sustainable. i think first, fans who have been fans for a while will begin to get fatigued. maybe newer fans still don’t mind it or perhaps like it even, but eventually they might get fatigued too. but that may take years so perhaps big hit has it under control. can’t say i can fully understand because i’ve always been that person that has only ever voted, streamed and basically do things that are free in order to support them... i did buy tracks on melon in the early days to help lol but i’ve never felt the absolute need to buy everything they release, the albums and all the concert dvds or summer/winter packages. so i (and perhaps we) are not who they are targeting. maybe other people think differently and will always buy and never get tired of all the constant ‘buy this!’ type messaging.

but you are right haha i do miss the deep story lines, the goofy dance practice vids, the silly vlives where it wasn’t some curated event where they are doing smth (tho i like those too!!!) i just miss namjoon straight rambling for 10 minutes about his outlook on life, eat jin, jinminkook antics, [miss tae, hobi’s and yoongi’s vlives too] and i miss jungkook’s fancafe chatrooms... i remember one concert where in his ment, namjoon (and im paraphrasing) was like someone said something that made me sad. they said they felt like as bts achieves more, bts feels even further away from them now. (-- he went on to say not to feel like that, but i honestly can’t remember. i think this is the if our music can even make you feel 1% better ment but then again i am also not sure ahahahh!)

Random Ask Dump - Anniversary Edition (50+ REALLY OLD ASKS!)

Going through OLD AND CRUSTY ASKS to try and chip away at the inbox. HERE WE GOOOO...

That’s an interesting idea, and I could run it by Cake, but I think it would honestly be a LOT to track from a programming perspective. Especially ‘cause killing Sans is gonna result in a “bad ending,” so to speak.

An attempt was made by Undyne to have all three hang out at the same time. Papyrus was SUPER EAGER. ...but one thing led to another and there were many messy explosions of chemicals and lots of smoke. Alphys had to step in before things got out of hand. It was all very daunting for her. Pap and Undyne are VERY LOUD, VERY AMBITIOUS PEOPLE.

I actually have some ideas of some side comics I may do at some point! :o It’s just that right now there’s a lot going on.

I need to poke Carni about that at some point. He’s just been very busy with other projects!

I wanna say that it’s very possible in theory. :o It probably affects them differently since monsters’ emotional state affects their magic and their physical state.

That’s a really fascinating conundrum! You’re absolutely right- if IF was a standalone game, then from a writing standpoint, having more subtle implications would make sense! The reason I chose a different approach for IF is because it’s set after Flowey’s already known to be evil and I like to give different POVs rather than stick to just Frisk’s.

That’s an interesting thing, actually- both fights lean heavily on the fourth wall. Both are treated as climaxes for their given routes. It’s funny because Asriel’s fight is a lot more straightforward and less meta by comparison.

I agree! The thing with Papyrus is that he’s extremely powerful- he just doesn’t want to kill. But it’s a deliberate choice not to kill- he’s able to force his attacks to do next to no damage. He’s also pretty darn crafty, as he made the Gauntlet himself. It really is just a case of Undyne’s personal biases and concern for him.

I wanted their feet and pants to stand out more from each other, so they have khaki pants. As for the Undyne fight being animated, well, this ask is old by now, but Sparks was the one who was down for it.

Well, the teaser’s been out for a long time now, but that’s the idea! It’s also why this has been in production for so long. The Determinator has some really over the top attacks (that weren’t even shown in the teaser), and Sparks animated in Photoshop. That’s how hardcore he is.

So, I believe Glyde uses the Mysterious Door motif. Jerry uses the motif in its battle theme- I believe it’s a mix of original motif and Wrong Number song?

Sans is a master of power napping. He probably gets a decent amount of sleep, though.

There are a lot of ways to interpret Pap’s lack of sleep! In IF, he can get by without it, but he also has a lot of reasons to avoid sleeping. Some reasons include productivity but also due to a looooot of heavy baggage. More on that later.

I think sleep can definitely make monsters healthier. Rest = better mental health as well as physical health, and with how important mental and emotional help is for monsters, that’s very important!

They just really like socks. Socks are warm. Socks are slinky. And googly eyes are the best. So they took on the form of a really eccentric sock puppet and sock collector. Scandalous.

It also has Alphys’ motif, as the two are the leaders of the royal guard!

I would say the lack of Asgore as an influence has left Undyne slightly less grounded? Like, she had Toriel and Gerson in her life, but her relationship with Toriel is... definitely not quite as close? Like, Toriel by that point kept people at an arm’s length due to losing multiple children (including one from old age). So, while they were on friendly terms until the aftermath of the DT experiments and the tapes’ release, it was more like mutual respect and a sorta professional relationship with Undyne admiring Toriel and wanting to spare her from more heartache.

That is a really interesting idea. While that didn’t happen, I do need to maybe revisit the grumpy dog at some point or another. He’s still a lil’ salty.

I think in terms of layout it won’t change much, but there will be new/different content for sure. :O

Mad Dummy’s base design is mostly original, but she has a wig + headband from DIO from Jojo Part 3! Fun fact: While MTT has Kamina shades, Papyrus’ goggles are loosely based on Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in terms of color. :O

So basically, when Asriel defeated Frisk, he had the power over the timeline to reset it as he pleased- in theory. However, that power was overwhelming for him, and due his lack of understanding OF said power and one last ditch attempt at resisting from Chara, things went wrong.

There is a track that takes some inspiration from Rage Awakened. It’s not released, and it’s not exact, but it won’t be released for a WHILE. Like until the part comes out.

I think it’s just the fact that tacos are so random. Like, my biggest beef in that regard was that OG Underswap had a lot of arbitrary replacements for things in UT and not all of them made sense. Like, if Sans was to make a foreign food, ramen would’ve made more sense due to Alphys being weeb trash, haha.

None taken! We know that with headcanons, everyone is gonna have their own interpretations. These are just the voices we liked for Fireglobe Production, but everyone has their right to their favored interpretations!

Yeah, Knight Knight is one of the coolest CORE mercs in the original game. It was fun to repurpose them for Inverted Fate as royal guards. :o It made room for unique encounters in the CORE in the form of them robots- as Undyne would rather use machines than other monsters to do her work.

Personally, I see it as an Asriel motif, but I also acknowledge that at one point it WAS gonna be an Asgore motif. Toby has a habit of just using whatever music works for a scene (see sans. at the snail farm.)

I do have a few ideas, though I won’t say for what yet. :o

He’s likely made blueprints for that train. :P

It probably would just have different flavor text/progression!

So basically, I treat the starting motif for BAaTH/Power of NEO is just a “true hero” motif.

MTT is definitely major in IF! As for whether or not he’ll have a hangout, time will tell. There’s definitely more to resolve with him, though.

I’m gonna remake at least a few of the older tracks, including Regret. My goal is just to bring the OST to a similar standard of quality.

So, animated parts coming up: Part 47, Part 49, Part 50. There may be some other parts, but we’re gonna wanna scale things back for a little bit for the sake of all our sanities.

Honestly, probably fairly similar to the bully fight in the Ruins- which is why I ultimately decided not to do one. Both fill similar archetypes, though I think if I did do a battle, I woulda still had Flowey interrupt at the end and scare them off.

ok so! mara is what i like to call ‘a textbook new yorker’ in that she’s Loud, she Loves Her Family and she’s Unapologetically Herself. my character inspirations for her are joey from netflix’s the circle, fran fine from the nanny, molly gunn from uptown girls and a little bit of cher from clueless sprinkled in there ( mainly bcos of this gifset lmao ). since i came up with her a few weeks ago, i really had so many different personalities for her but like.. let’s keep reading to see that literally all of them were apparently Not True ~

she was born into a very tightly-knit family & grew up constantly surrounded by them. she’s got three older brothers, meaning she’s the Baby of the family, so she’s been uhhhhhh doted on all her life! we stan! that said, she’s never known what its like to be on her own, especially considering that her family was right by her side every step of the way as she slowly grew her career from childhood. she got her start singing the national anthem at a knicks game when she was 8 and slowly built from there. her parents were always suuuper supportive and did all they could to help her achieve her dreams, even though they were struggling to make ends meet.

her parents own a small bakery in queens that they started when her oldest brother was little and have been a staple in the city ever since. though they’re a somewhat popular spot for tourists and locals alike, ny real estate isn’t cheap, so paying rent both for the store and their apartment above it has always been a struggle, especially once they started dedicating a good portion of their money to plane tickets and agents and all sorts of necessities mara needed in order for her dreams to come true. the extra expense was difficult on her brothers as well, though they made a point never to complain when they had to get a second or third job to help pay the bills.

ANYWAYS she grew up veryyyy close to her family and the sacrifices they made on her behalf didn’t go unnoticed, so the first thing she did when she finally Made It was buy them a bigger space for their bakery ( since her parents Love working it even if its rough sometimes, buddy ) and a new house so ;) we love a Family First mentality!

HOWEVER!! when mara first moved to LA in like?? 2015 or something?? idk timelines.. but anyways when she first moved to LA she was.. how u say.... Depressed cos like even though she was Living Her Dream as the artist she’s always wanted to be ( she lived in queens w/ her family up until after her first Big Break cos she’s a big time daddy’s girl ) .. she was essentially on her own since her family stayed in nyc :/ yk, where they live? yeah. so she was on her own for the first time... Ever & it was scary and stressful and essentially, she wasn’t doing great mentally or emotionally, even if she put on that *ari vc* fake smile.

that was untiiiiiiil she got her first ~ hollywood boyfriend ~ aka someone famous who helped both with her career and as a salve to the constant loneliness the bitch always feelin. long story short, he didn’t last long, but she Needed to feel Wanted so she got Another ~ hollywood boyfriend ~ until it became, like, Her Thing to Always be attached to someone in the tabloids and the press and on Entertainment Tonight. we love a codependent bitch! that’s also kinda how she got to be part of the met cartel cos she immediately attaches herself fully and completely to everyone she meets & falls a little bit in love with every person who has ever said hello to her, so.. Yeah! most of her friendships were likely formed because she just would not leave them alone ( she’s clingy and needy As Fuck, but she knows she is, so she’s constantly worrying about it aka she’s always wondering if people really like her cos she’s been said to be “too much” and “annoying” by some people who.. weren’t interested in being her friend ) anyways.. feel free to lmk if u want ur chara to hate her cos she will fully have her feelings hurt but still want them to like her cos shes a, say it with me kids, people pleaser ~

its v clear why i thought of joey & fran for inspo ( espeeeeecially fran, now that i think about it: i.e. constantly searching for love, lovingly obnoxious ) but as for why she’s like molly gunn... bitch is uhhh naive as fuck and will trust anyone who is even a little bit nice to her so peep her constantly seeing everyone through rose colored glasses and immediately feeling like her heart is broken when they turn out to be someone completely different lmao! also yk in the little mermaid when ariel was like “but daddy, i love him!” ??? so this is gonna be a big can of worms bc there are gonna be refrences to things I have not fully talked about on this blog, so as a quick summary of it so to say

 Lil was once an angel of Fumus, Nick and Lil knew one another from the first take of pitch black, if you know my blog you know something happened that made Nick and Fumus reset it, Lil is the only known surviving being from that first take of pitch black, as a whole I need to fully wright this down and make post on it but, the jists of it she has know Satanick for a long time, knows at least some of what he has been through, and is his best friend

where they get married     the castle ball room

when they get married ( ie what time of day, what month and season etc. )     evening, winter, perhaps January 

what traditions they include ( do they get married under a chuppah and crush a glass, garter toss, ‘something borrowed, something blue,’ etc. )      something old etc, and in a way the garter toss as well, by witch I mean they agreed to sling shot it all the way up to heaven, yes it worked with the useage of shadows, it smacked Fumus dead in the face
