I’m sending this because I saw your post on the tags. You’re not a Tom Holland fan, you’re a Peter Parker/Spider-Man fan. You only talk about this character on your blog. You’re a Marvel stan. I doubt you can't even name more than 5 Tom projects that aren't Spider-Man movies. You’re not obssesed with him, you’re obssesed with his version of the character which is not the same as being a fan of the actor and support his career outside of one thing.

Well this is a very rude way of supporting someone who only promotes kindness and adores his work with Spider-Man.

First of all, this is a Marvel side blog. So I only post about Marvel and adjacent things on here, in my personal life and other blogs I do have other interests. I will also say I have a hyperfixation on Marvel, especially the MCU, and my favourite character since I was a child is Spider-Man. So yes, that is my favourite Tom Holland role, he is my favourite spidey, so my blog focuses on him a lot. And the thing about hyperfixations is 1. I can't control it and 2. I am literally mentally ill about him.

But I do absolutely adore Tom Holland as an actor, so I'll take this as an opportunity to gush about some of my favourite projects of his!

The Crowded Room: If someone says Tom isn't a good actor I know for a fact they've never seen this. The amount of roles he plays in this, heavy and variable, was remarkable. Switching between the accents, mannerisms, even down to the way they stand. I was in complete awe, especially when he would switch between them without cuts. I watched an interview where he said he doesn't memorize scripts completely, but he learns the characters so deeply that he knows what they'd say and do anyways. To do that in a role like this just shows how seriously he takes the art. The story in and of itself was very moving, well written, and paced beautifully. I loved all the characters and how they fit together in order to protect Danny. 10/10 would recommend, there is heavy subject matter and I cried when he was on the stand and they didn't believe he had DID (especially when the man who loved him also started doubting if Ariana was real), and then again when he said Adam was him :(

Cherry: Incredibly real story, hurt my heart that people go through this. Tom did a fantastic job being respectful of the subject matter—a veteran with PTSD who falls into drug addiction and crime to fuel it. You can see his character harden over time, and I have a crush on the version of Cherry when he was in college hehe. The way he loves Emily so intensely through it all, how reverently he treats her, and his total breakdown when she overdoses. He rather have her clean and away from him than be together in their suffering. And it has a happy ending! Ngl Tom with a mustache made me giggle, just looks so silly lol. I know he can't grow facial hair to save his life

Uncharted: While Tom is fantastic in those heavy roles and I love seeing him cry, let my boy have fun! This movie was a great action movie, and idc about all the video game nerds who says he isn't a good fit for Nathan. He might not be Nathan, but he is BORN for action babyyy. Suave, intelligent, and sweet. I know he had a lot of fun with this role and is a big fan of the game, so happy he got it! I am still hoping for a sequel because I need Tom in more action and light-hearted films

Chaos Walking: The sci-fi aspects of this are really cool, and a unique way of commentating on patriarchy. The plot twists were cool and Todd Hewitt is my sweet little feminist king. He's so funny to me, bro is trying his best, I definitely view Todd as an underdog who has all this responsibility put on him. World building and characterization was sick, wish it got a bit more love

The Devil All the Time: Okay this movie was objectively really good but SO WEIRD? I felt very discomfited after. But Tom's character was definitely my absolute favourite, what a terrible journey he goes through. Even though the movie was odd Tom made it all worth it. A genuinely good guy pushed to do terrible things because of other terrible people, like yes you get em king!!! Had me on the edge of my seat

The Impossible: The fact that this was his first film!? SO INTENSE, and yet he did fantastic. Tom Holland didn't really plan to be an actor, he truly just had greatness thrust upon him. Scooped up as Billy Elliot, then scouted as Lucas in this film. He genuinely has a natural talent for this stuff, this movie is based off a true story and seeing the devastation and little Tom covered in dirt and grieving his family that is still alive, oh gosh. Heavy but the happy ending will make you cry.

Can I also say lip sync battle as one of my fave projects? I need this man to do more dancing or at least physical work. So enamored with him and his confidence. It's interesting looking back on that video after a recent interview he spoke about how young he was and eager, but as an adult (and the adults around him at the time) being more hesitant and cautious about putting yourself in the media like that. It's been cool watching Tom mature!

Films I would not recommend as a Tom Holland fan:

How I Live Now: Tom isn't in it that much, and it was a really slow, disturbing film. I felt sad, gross, and uncomfortable watching it, just for Tom to barely be seen. Do not recommend

Edge of Winter: Also a very disturbing film. Tom was in it more, but it's mostly a slow horror film without much closure, and Tom's character isn't that interesting. Bland and uncomfortable

Now I'm not interested in his animated voice work, and I don't like period pieces, so I haven't seen those films. But if they're great enough and Tom has a good role in them pls feel free to recommend!

I just want to say you don't need to hit a quota to be a fan of someone. If you like one song, book, film... you're allowed to call yourself a fan! Gate-keeping art is not cool, and even if someone only likes one character then that sure is one fantastic character. Spider-Man is something very important to Tom; it's a big part of his career, he met his future wife through it, it changed his world to become his childhood hero. And his depiction of Spider-Man is something very special to me. It isn't just the character, it's him; the freshness, the awkwardness, the naivety he brought to Peter that Andrew and Tobey didn't choose to do. It is such a fantastic character to show off his physical skills, humour, his range from childishness to the grief and fury. You look at him in Homecoming and compare it to NWH and you see how Tom has evolved the character. I'm in awe of every thing Tom Holland does, but Spider-Man is 6 huge projects of his and to be more, which shows so much of his skill.

I also love his interviews. He's a very down to Earth, sweet, and genuine man. I think he's funny, charismatic and confident, but has fantastic work-life balance. I watched that 2 hour interview of his talking about spirituality and mental health, and seeing where he is now with Bero after his struggles with alcohol warms my heart. I wish I could have seen his Romeo & Juliet production, but in the least I think it was a nice break from the big screen for him. And best believe I was fighting for my life in comment sections for his costars—the racism was disgusting. One day that man is going to be a father and we'll never see him again, and I'll support that too. Can't wait for his Nolan film, can't believe how far he's come so quickly, and oh yes, I'm most excited for more Spider-Man films ;)

Maybe Jumin just has some sort of connection to Ouran or something like that? And then RFA somehow gets involved

Both of the premises of Ouran and RFA are to appease people (Ouran is more female oriented tho). They both solely exist for the sake of providing happiness to others and stuff.

I think Jumin and Kyoya are quite similar. So I could totally see them discussing business plans with their fathers and shit like that haha then maybe Jumin could ask about Ouran Academy and what curriculars they have (for advertising?? idk lol) and then Kyoya mentions subtly about helping people in the Host Club.

So then maybe the Host Club decides to sponsor RFA and thus begins their journey 2gether!!!

I kinda suck at these types of things but the fun part is when the characters MEET TOGETHER!!!

Jumin and Kyoya as mentioned earlier are already cooperating with their respective businesses and stuff. I don't think either of them would open up or anything, but they're kind of similar in a way? Straight to the point, communicative in ideas and mostly likes to start new projects ehe >_<

Tamaki and ZEN would be a good duo as well, with Zen actually attracting more customers to the Host Club which makes Tamaki feel that their purpose is being successful!!! They would talk about entertaining people (and how grateful it makes them feel to keep their fans happy). They'd be blabbering about how beauty is important etc. etc.

JAEHEE AND HARUHI I'VE BEEN WANTING TO TALK ABOUT THEM FOR SO LONG AHHHH. Ok ok THEY'RE SO SIMILAR DOWN TO THEIR PERSONALITY, THEIR PATIENCE, THEIR DEDICATION *AND* also did I mention they look super similar to LIKE THE HAIR RAHHH!! But ahemm... Anyways. I feel like they'd get along on how their friend group is always being crazy and they're both basically the voice of reason/mom friend (tho they'll not say this all the time but they care for them so much and everything they do they want them to be safe and susjsksksk)

Honey Senpai and Yoosung tbh. I can see Yoosung practicing baking and creating pastries and cakes just for Honey Senpai (the ultimate taste tester) to try it out (maybe Haru and Jaehee could bake for both of them too XD). I can see Yoosung asking help from Honey (despite their age difference lol) since the maturity levels kind of differ. (I'm not very well versed in Honey's personality so plz forgive me T_T)

Mori Senpai... I feel like maybe he'll get along with V or something? Lol. Both are kind of the protectors of the gang(??? Ok I'm just making up bullshit at this point). Mori doesn't speak much and neither does V (in the chatroom atleast) soo.. Lololol. V could appreciate Mori's dedication to help anyone in the club while the former just nods lol

HIKARU AND KAORU TIME BABYYY!!! They'd trick Seven for sure but with some wit Seven would be able to differentiate between the two. The twins would joke around and get along with Seven since they have crazy humour together (and maybe Seven wishes, he was as close as they were, with Saeran)

For Flint!!

1. What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

I've always had an interest in 19th century history, especially in regards to the Wild West and all the crazy stuff that happened in the Western world in that time period. At the time of Flint's creation, I had just come off of finishing rdr2 and I was deep in my university archaeology courses, thinking about field school and historic archaeology, and already kind of in the mood to take the dive and make a cowboy-flavoured character- that all kind of made this an inevitability. I got invited to a oneshot dnd game and realized I'd probably have a lot of fun playing a little fantasy cowboy, and Flint 1.0 was born! Thus, too, began my descent into madness.

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

Name and personality came first! I needed to come up with that stuff quick to get ready for the game I rolled them in, so art and story elements weren't really necessary. After the oneshot finished is when I drew up their initial design, and then I got so attached to it I went insane.

4. And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?

Probably their role in the story! Normally I drop the characters I make for oneshot dnd games like a bag of rocks, but I REALLY liked Flint so I wanted to make a world for them to run around in. All I had on them was their name and face, and some key personality traits (hopeless romantic, reckless, high on life with no braincells), their dnd class (celestial warlock!), and the hook the oneshot gave me of some people robbing the most haunted, undead-infested tombs in the world. I didn't want to change anything so I had to sort of contort and fit a world around them, rather than the other way around.

I ended up with a story about a troubled kid who got in way over their head, tried to run away from the grief they caused but ended up trapped as a pawn in a cosmic popularity contest. With some newfound divinely lifted powers they're trying to make ammends as best they can and claw back any scrap of redemption that might be left for them in the world, mainly by sending restless undead souls back to their resting places (and pilfering their baubles as a little bonus, to fund their vagrant lifestyle). Everything else sort of revolves around that little hook!

8. What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?

MAN I wanna say Flint is maybe like... 80% me? I made the Wild Weast setting initially as a sort of love letter to material culture and all the aspects of history that got me into archaeology in the first place. Flint is very much a self-insert character for me to explore all my personal interests in a world full of new things to discover and dump lore on! A lot of their core traits resonate with me as a result. I'm won't psychoanalyze myself too deeply on main but I gave Flint a lot of the negative qualities I notice in myself, like flakiness and fear of commitment or difficulty fitting in and finding a place in the world, to explore them a bit better and try to understand my own insecurities. They have a lot of positive aspects too though, don't get me wrong! Like their positivity and laid-back, "cross that bridge when we get there" attitude, and their general lust for life are also things that resonate with me pretty deeply.

12. Do you have a playlist for the character? What songs do you associate with them and why?

I LITERALLY JUST MADE ONE YESTERDAYYY I have a generic playlist that I dump all the music I find that gives me wild weast vibes into, but I had a really slow day at work so I ended up sitting down and actually working on some character specific playlists for everyone in the setting. The music I associate with them is mostly stuff I imagine them singing themselves. They fit into that "singing cowboy" archetype, so I like to imagine what kinds of songs they'd sing while they travel. It's mostly country and folk music, and there's a pretty even spread of upbeat and somber songs!

19. What is your general favourite thing about the character? What is your least favourite?

Flint is probably my favourite OC of all time, there's very little I don't like about them! I wish I could go back in time to when I had the time and energy to love them like I used to. I used to make comics to share with friends, dump lore all the time, and would draw them almost every day- I practically see them in everything. If there's anything I maybe don't like as much about them, it's that I'm specifically very inconsistent with their story and personality. It's really hard to shove all your interests and traits into one little guy and keep it succinct at the same time!!

And for Castor!!

2. How long was the process before the character reached its final version? (or a version that would be clearly recognizable as the character?)

OUGH IT TOOK LIKE A SOLID YEAR... I had the idea for a character like Castor for a really long time, but it was impossible thinking about an antagonist because I was way too wrapped up in the joy of playing with my little dolls and making them kiss.

3. What was the first thing you decided on, the character's name, appearance, personality or their role in the story?

Their role in the story! Castor is the setting antagonist, at least for this group of characters. They serve as my vessel for ruining my blorbos lives <3

4. And reverse, which one of the four things did you struggle with the most?

EVERYTHING ELSE. I had no idea what Castor's personality, appearance, or even name was going to be. All I knew is that I wanted them to be fucked up in the head, kinda cunty, and a major problem for everyone within 30 a mile radius of them.

5. How did you choose their name and why? Was it simply based on vibes or is there any specific meaning behind the name? Are the reasons behind their name different in- and out of universe?

After I came up with a design for them, I noticed I have them a lot of cosmic motifs (moon, stars, etc) so I thought it would be fitting to name them after something in the sky as well! The constellations we have in the real world don't exist in my setting, but I still thought it would be fun to name them after something from the real world. In universe, their name isn't anything linked to mythology or anything, it's just got a nice ring!

I had given them a snake familiar they were really attached to, so I ended up linking them together even further with their names (Castor and Pollux). After a bit more development the snake familiar ended up just straight up being Castor's sibling, so the names fit even better now lol!

6. What was the thought process behind their appearance? Did you go mostly for the aesthetic or are there other reasons they look the way they do?

Definitely aesthetics first! I focus on making my characters look fun first and foremost and Castor isn't an exception to that. You can pry big hats, open-chested shirts, and high-waisted flared pants from my cold, dead hands.

9. How big is their role in the story? Do they make a frequent appearance or are they a character with little "screentime" but big influence? Or are they just a favourite background guy?

In the story, Castor has little to no real screentime to speak of- the main characters (Flint, Willow, Shuteye and Prim) have no knowledge of their existence. BUT they are directly linked to most, if not all, of the hardships the characters are dealing with right now, or are at least working to make them worse. They're very much a puppetmaster pulling strings in the background! The catalyst for Flint essentially destroying their life beyond repair was an accidental death that Castor orchestrated, Shuteye's whereabouts are being leaked by Castor's informants, Primrose's lycanthropy was the end result of a series of domino's they felled, etc. Willow's problems were a bit before Castor's time, but were caused by their father so their job is to sort of keep Willow on his knees by it.

20. Bonus question: share any additional thoughts, art, favourite scenes, anything you've been waiting for a chance to ramble about

GOSH I COULD FILL A LIBRARY WITH CHARACTER LORE FOR REAL. Maybe I will go with in-world orgins? Castor is the child of a human mother and a demon which are, in my setting, powerful magical beings that were trapped underground by the current pantheon of gods. There's no real difference between gods and demons really, one side just got lucky and utterly destroyed and vilified the other. After a long period without access to the surface their appearances warped and they started looking like the pale, blind cave critters that we have in the real world, like various species of cave spiders or those blind cave salamanders (olms?). They're still sapient and can communicate with surface dwellers, and they're desperately trying to free their species from the underground but have sort of recognized that they themselves can't live on the surface anymore. As a result, they've found ways of getting it on with regular people up top to sire children and continue their species in a different form.

They love their father (who normally looks like a big fat snake creature with lots of arms/hands lol) more than anything and desperately want to make it proud, hence why they've decided to slink their way into the background of the main cast's lives and make things terrible for them :3

Normally demons have to participate in a pretty long and drawn-out courting process because they are just naturally offputting to people no matter what form they take. Castor's mom however was a freak of a woman who liked her partners creepy and wet, so Castor's conception happened in RECORD time. She died shortly after Castor was born (RIP girlies we lost a real one) and they ended up being raised by their father primarily (as much as it could take care of a baby, being trapped underground and all). Castor's upbringing makes them closer to a demon than a human in a lot of ways, which shows in their personality and general disdain for anything dwelling on the surface of the world.

THERE'S MORE, THERE'S ALWAYS MORE... but this is getting kinda long already so I'LL ZIP IT FOR NOW. Your reward for getting through my nonsense is Castor's original sketches I made on paper in like 2021 <3

They originally had both their eyes but I liked the vibes of having one constantly obscured! So now it's because oops haha they actually only really have one eye and their brother (Pollux) uses the other side of their face as a sort of portal to come and go as it pleases.

There will only be one more update after this one, then I'll be moving on to other projects. I'm going to be making another visual novel! (it's also about Smii7y and Kryoz) I'm very excited to end this project and start a new one, it was such a fun experience! I'm so glad I did this, I almost didn't... Again, thank you SO much to anyone who played the game or even just downloaded it. Even if you didn't play it, thanks for at least downloading it! I promise to keep you guys updated! Although I have been struggling with my mental health, BUT. I started doing theater, and I've been feeling a lot better! So I'll most likely be working on projects more and more. Heyy babyyy!!🥺 Okay first of all I love you loadssss and cannot appreciate you enough for bringing out another chapter so soon!🩷

I’ve just read the inital part of the chapter, and here’s my perspective and some questions for you!! There’s already so much going on, but everything flows so naturally and hits so hard. While Jeno numbs himself with parties, fights, and meaningless hookups, MC just throws herself into her research and responsibilities to avoid thinking about him? That hit. Also that line about music dying for her? That shattered me cuz it says so much with so little. Also-MC and Mark being roommates now?? Love that detail. It adds such a comforting but bittersweet layer to everything, especially since he’s been a constant presence in her life.

The ‘fantasy boy draft’ tradition was such a fun and chaotic setup (I love the little touches with everyone’s pairings-Ningning and Chenle were so cute, and Jungwoo teaching Yunjin how to dougie?? Please, cuz why is it so Jungwoo😭, but my favorite pair was Karina and Jaemin cuz you picked my favorite two people and put them together (you may or may not recieve a few asks about this separately👀)). But the twist with Nahyun pulling Jeno’s name??? And the tension when Karina swapped the names-I was holding my breath. The way MC calmly told Nahyun the truth about being blocked… just chef’s kiss. No yelling, no noise-just quiet power. You can feel that she’s so done with the drama but still carrying so much pain.

And then Areum calling the breakup selfish?? Ugh. That stung, especially knowing what MC actually went through. But her just shutting it down with a “mind your business” instead of explaining herself? That said everything. It’s like she’s too exhausted to defend herself anymore, and that silence just hit harder than anything else. At the same time, I get Areum’s reaction, cuz even after her break up with Jeno, she really relies on him as a friend. If my best friend was in that state, I would have a similar reaction too.

Alsooo, I had a few thoughts and questions while reading-just things that stuck with me and made me curious:

• When the cheer team was over at MC’s place, the way Ryujin mentioned how well Shotaro treats her felt really wholesome, but then Nahyun immediately snapped. I couldn’t help but wonder-was that really about Shotaro? Or was it more about Nahyun herself? It felt like she was projecting a lot. Like maybe she’s insecure, especially since she seems to constantly crave attention (even from the Lee brothers), but doesn’t actually receive it the way she wants.

• Another thing that caught my attention-was there ever something between Karina and Jaemin? Because the moment she picked his name, there was this strange mix of familiarity and hesitation, like you mentioned. It didn’t feel like she was caught off guard-it felt more like she already knew he wasn’t into her, or at least believed that. Like she’s imagined the idea of them before but never dared to express it, maybe out of fear of rejection. That quiet “I already know how this ends” vibe was so subtle but so telling.

• Also curious about Ryujin and MC’s relationship-have they always been close? Or have they gotten closer because of Shotaro, or maybe even through a shared understanding of how Nahyun operates? There seemed to be a kind of quiet alliance between them, especially during the name-picking scene. Like they were aware of each other in a way that implied more history or mutual understanding than we’ve seen on the surface.

• And finally not a question, but I loved the thought behind MC’s basket. It wasn’t flashy or extra, but it felt so personal and intentional. It matched the whole purpose of the draft-relieving the boys’ stress before the big game-and it was so her. What I adored most is how it didn’t feel like she had to try hard. Jeno could probably take one look and know it was from her. That unspoken familiarity? It was beautiful.

You’ve built this tension so well-everyone’s trying to move on, but they’re all still carrying the past like baggage they can’t drop. And now that MC has to spend time with Jeno again?? I’m already bracing myself. Anyway, I’m obsessed, and can’t wait to uncover more!!

— nahyun’s snap about shotaro / ryujin you’re right. it wasn’t really about shotaro at all. nahyun’s biggest trigger is that craving for attention, and worse, feeling like other girls get it more easily than she does. especially girls like y/n, quiet magnetism, people gravitate to her even when she isn’t trying, and nahyun feels that contrast constantly. ryujin is naturally open and fair, so her comment came from a genuine place, but nahyun heard it as a spotlight shifting away from her. it hit a nerve she tries so hard to pretend isn’t there.

— karina and jaemin i have plans with jaemin is all i’m gonna say, i can’t reveal too much as i’m excited to show you guys where his character will go. what i will say though is that it’s more about quiet projections and what-could-have-beens rather than anything that ever really happened. karina is a realist, she rarely lets herself fall into fantasy — but with jaemin, she always wondered, what if. and she hates that little part of herself because it makes her feel weak, so she buries it. that moment with the name pick? it’s all of that bubbling up at once: familiarity, disappointment, the quiet ache of “i already know how this ends.”

— ryujin and y/n’s relationship beautiful question. they’re not close-close, not in the way mark or karina are to her, but there is this quiet, mutual warmth between them. like, y/n is a magnet — people just like her, they trust her energy even from a distance. ryujin respects her, sees the way she carries herself, and feels a natural pull to be aligned with her, especially in tense group dynamics. there’s a softness there, an unspoken understanding, even if they’ve never been deeply personal with each other. it’s the kind of thing that doesn’t need loud declarations. it just exists. it really speaks for itself how all of y/n’s friends would move earth for her and how those who don’t know her very well still feel a fondness and like towards her.

i wrote 59,199 words over these past few weeks. i did a nanowrimo of mtl fanfic. i need to be institutionalized. (i'm also a nanowrimo veteran, and the median word count for these fics was just over 1667 words, so ain't that crazy.)

if you follow me, you have most likely (definitely) heard of the band weezer. and if you're reading this right now, you have heard of weezer 100% and have heard buddy holly once at the very least. and yeah. of course you have. since that's the most popular weezer song due to its success when it first released and recent internet memes.

now, for the very rare few who haven't heard of weezer:

weezer is a band from los angeles california. the band was formed in 1992 by rivers cuomo, patrick wilson, matt sharp, and jason cropper. although, the current members, (as of 2024), are rivers cuomo, patrick wilson, brian bell, and scott shriner. and me? im fucking obsessed with this band oh my god

what in the blue album weezering

the most popular weezer album huh...... the one that looks like buddy holly. the one with all of the memes associated with it. how did this album begin? why the fuck would rivers cuomo do this? is he okay? whale whale whale let me tell you dear child

the blue album, also known as weezer, which is weezers debut album, was released on may 10, 1994. the albums debut single is undone - the sweater song, which you have most likely heard of in some shape or form. although, despite the song gaining some success, many people had just seen the band as a gimmick or just some nerds. (to be fair, literally just look at them). after this, the band went: ok so uh. buddy holly becomes a single badabingbadaboom. along with this, there was a video directed by spike jonze (who also directed undone). the buddy holly music video is based off of the sitcom happy days from the 1970s by the way if youu somehow did not know. and boom . buddy holly AND weezer blew up . explosions everywhere babyyy. exploded so hard it won a mtv video music award.

after that, due to rivers being a fan of madame butterfly and getting inspired by it, he wanted to work on his own opera. named, songs from the black hole. it would require each weezer member to be assigned a character. two temporary female vocalists. and it would need to be spacey and synthy.

now, there's wayyy more things about this project, but im not going to talk abt them today.

but hey, did you know rivers went to harvard? probably, probably not, who knows. while at harvard, he got WRITERS BLOCK~ SO FUN!!! anywyas. ego suffering. limping while walking to class. not fun.

ah, wait, but then he started to write some songs abt his experience at harvard! woag! yeag. theres a LOT more to this but i need to get to pinkerton NOW. that being said,

pinkerton. finally. new weezer album? how queer. guess we doing honesty and no gimmicks now.

early september. album almost finished. woohoo! oh wait. sued? because of the name? what the hell? oh. quickly got not sued. okok we good we chill.

lets go. new weezer album, released on september 24, 1996. oh? mostly negative and eh reviews? uhhh. ummm.. ah, first single el scorcho music video! also a flop????? some people said it was the "worst album of 1996"????? well fuck.

k what now? umm. re-record PINK TRIANGLE!!!!!!! (that song is very special to me for many reasons by the way). oh . ok. pibk traingel released as a radio promo disc.

well! this didn't go so well. now, the band is going separate ways to work on projects??!!?!? erm what the sigma or whatever the kids say

lets fast forward um. several years. we don't usually see pinkerton like they did back then huh. yeah. critics had decided to go back to pinkerton and finally went: holy shit this is good

and with that, the first two weezer albums were born. damn! okay. how do we feel about these albums today again?

now, many weezer fans consider these two albums to be great. with some minority STILL not liking pinkerton. now, despite its mediocre reception when it was released, it is mostly considered to be a masterpiece. now, what about the blue album? classic. every weezer fan has to listen to this album. it may not be everyones favorite, but it is definitely appreciated. its like a stepping stone, waiting for greater things to come. the blue album and pinkerton are definitely some of the most important weezer albums.

Hello there!

Hey Folks! Here's an introduction about myself and this blog, how it started and what it's all about.💖✨

I'm Phoebe, (she/they) and I'm a freelance illustrator! This blog originally started as my final project for uni in 2021, as an Instagram page where I created illustrated, infographic posts on sex ed topics that are often missed or considered taboo in school sex education. I started the project in response to my personal reflection and discussions with friends about our disappointment with our own school sex education experience. It's such and important topic and whilst the teachings have slowly begun to improve, there's still a long way to go. Plus, I believe in the power of art as a learning tool babyyy! and I wanna use my powers for good.

Since graduating, I have continued to research and work on the @everybodys_invited Instagram account, in my spare time as a sort of personal passion project. To broaden the page's reach, (and to avoid Instagram's censorship of RSHE materials) I decided to create a Tumblr, because I though it might be slightly better! 🤞

So for now the posts will be a mix of re-uploads from Instagram and some more recently made posts, just until I clear my backlog. I might upload them in a different order to my Instagram too, as some posts are seasonal! (e.g. Pride month, National kink day, Bi awareness week etc)

My hope is, by using Tumblr, I can make my posts more accessible than on Instagram, with ID, and including links to any sources and useful resources I use or think are cool.

I believe everyone deserves a helpful, inclusive and positive sex education and I hope this blog will help cultivate a more insightful RSHE community! I want to keep this blog going as long as I can as I find the subject matter fascinating and fun to learn about, as well as a great outlet for my creative practice.

since quinton said he liked to hear about stuff his fans go through while watching his videos uhhh here's a bit about me i guess

i discovered and binge watched the first 3 videos on the series when i was in a bad place in terms of a lot of stuff, but specially when it came to my art, i valued my art not in "do i enjoy making it" but in "would other people like it and see it", which considering im a small as fuck artist, was not a good thing, no one ever saw my art outside of my close circle (which i no longer consider a bad thing because my close circle rocks)

after the second victorious video came out, i decide to make my own Victorious AU called Failure, which would be about how the main characters grow up to NOT become stars, having very average lives and feeling kind of miserable

This post sucks, but it had what I made for it

I feel like my brain didn't came up with this idea because it would be fun for me to work on, but because it would perhaps get me traction, and it sorta did, 58 upvotes babyyy, I was honestly so thrilled about it that I wanted to write a script for it

And I couldn't, why? Because I didn't want to actually work in it, it felt more like a job than a project, and it's not like I was getting paid for it! But I felt like I had to do it because how else am I going to get a following?

I was also, yknow, severely depressed at the time so I didn't feel like drawing or writing

I also found many flaws on my first post, so I decided to make a new one, this time with no art because I was just, exhausted

Here is said version, I actually think is quite nice nowadays

I eventually got over this feeling, although it took a while, I don't even know how I did it, it just slowly happened gradually while learning to love myself

Now I'm watching the Sam & Cat video, and thinking "yknow, I should maybe revisit that au, it would be funny", and it has made me realize just how far I have come, now I don't want to make art to become famous or approved, but because I enjoy making it!!! It is honestly very nice

🤖Jaybot7 had a tumblr blog.

Looks oddly barren. Especially compared to 🤖Jaybot7's blog. But when I take a closer look at the layout, it almost looks like it's made for a mobile view... but I'm using a standard computer, I'm on desktop view. I wonder if it looks like this because it was designed for Pocket PCs? Could be that it isn't even supposed to look like this, images don't appear unless you click on them, so I wonder how 'broken' the layout is on a modern screen? If what I state isn't complete nonsense, that is. Also looks like a lot of these posts are previews, for the lack of a better term. With the full thing being linked in the post title (which are all broken sadly). A lot of the posts seem to have been made with cross-posting tools of a sort.

This tumblr blog has been abandoned (like so many of his socials) for many, many years. The most recent post is from Feburary 2010. A decade and a half, damn...

I've been aware of it for quite some time, but I was unsure if this is perhaps crossing a line. There's a tendency on the internet to dig up old online activity from people to publicly humiliate, shame or make fun of them, no matter how outdated these things are comapred to the current human being. But that's not the reason why I'm digging through 🤖Jaybot7 tumblr blog like a cockroach, it's kinda the opposite honestly. I wanted to learn more about Arvale and I think it's interesting to read through some more casual developer commentary. Since this blog seems to have been made with the intent of 🤖Jaybot7 to keep in touch with his audience and anyone interested in Arvale, I hope I'm not... doing something wrong here.

All the more sad to see that despite around 780 posts, none of them have any notes currently. And if they do, they are from me. I was hoping to see commentary from other Arvale fans and possibly get in touch with them, but alas...

Cool to see yet another fellow creative being crazy in their own way. And yet, this is probably one of the more normal ways to start/ work on a project then the things I've and others have done.

Honestly really refreshing to see an artist being proud and happily rambling about the thing they're working on. So often I see other artists, friends and strangers, just de-hyping and belittling their own work and struggling with confidence. I was like this too. A lot.

I've decided to list out all my gender and sexuality headcanon for bsd characters 1. Cause I do this for every fandom im in for fun anyways and 2. So people know my interpretation of these characters for when I draw them. This will be full of me projecting cause I can :3

ADA

Dazai- an absolute bisexual disaster, the worst. Honestly his gender is probably unlabeled, doesn't really give a shit and doesn't have a connection to any gender, but is used to being called a guy so that's what he goes with: He/it

Kunikida- aroacespec, probably has a specific microlabel cause I see him as someone who likes having labels for himself. A queer man, enough said. Cis /non derogatory: He/him. Honestly I see him as that meme "I'm probably gay but I have a job rn so idc" so he's closeted even to himself for a while

Atsushi- a bisexual mess, with a splash of religious trauma and repression. I don't really have any specific gender headcanons for him, and honestly he probably doesn't know either soo: he/him

Kyouka- hear me out, a lesbian. Her 'crush' on Atsushi is absolutely comphet because he was the one who saved her so ofc she's gonna think she has to like him in that way, that's how it's supposed to go (oh honey you have a huge storm coming). Also a trans girl, based off the fact the author she's based off of is a dude: She/her

Yosano- honestly don't have any specific headcanons for her, definitely queer in some sort of way, and has preference for women no matter what. Another cissy: She/her

Tanizaki J.- trans trans trans trans *cough* excuse me, he's a trans man. Another Bisexual to the mix (the ADA is just full of them): He/they

Naomi- Pansexual, don't know, just feels right, and cis: She/her

Ranpo- my precious shithead, a gay trans man right there, I'll tell you what. Also arospec cause I can: He/him

Kenji- don't have specifics for him either, honestly probably unlabeled both for gender and sexuality, just goes with what feels natural and doesn't think too hard on it: doesn't correct anyone on any pronouns

Fukuzawa- gay gay gay gay, a gay cis man: He/him

PORT MAFIA

Chuuya- gay gay homosexual gay, arospec cause we love projection in this household. A trans man: He/him

Ryuunosuke- Arospec gay cause we predictable, transmasc, doesn't have a strong connection to gender but feels most comfortable being referred to as a man and masculine terms: They/he (people they know personally can refer to him with they/them but prefers anyone else to refer with he/him)

Gin- again, hear me out: transmasc nonbinary, has top surgery but doesn't take testosterone. Still dresses femininely from time to time but in a "wanna be pretty like a boy" kinda way. They're queer/unlabeled: he/they/she (she/her is exclusive to people they are close to)

Tachihara- trans trans trans, the port mafia is just full of trans bitches. A bisexual mess, joining the PM was his gay awakening: He/him

Higuchi- questioning galore over here, honestly just attracted to masculinity, girly is cis: She/her

Kouyou- surprise, I don't headcanon her as a lesbian, she's definitely gay, but I don't view her as a lesbian, she just calls herself gay as an umbrella term. Trans woman: She/her

Hirotsu- a gay man, enough said, Cis: He/him

Kajii- nonbinary and queer, honestly doesn't care about his own gender or sexuality: He/they/it

Q- my babyyy, unlabeled all around, they're nonbinary cause I said so: They/it

Mori- hmmm aroacespec based off the fact that the author he's based off of was most likely asexual. Queer and cis: He/him

Sigma- my babygirl, the reason I started reading bsd in the first place, transmasc nonbinary, presents both masculine and femininely but prefers to be referred to with masculine terms and seen as a man by people who don't know them personally, arospec cause I'm aro and I can do what I want, uses gay as an umbrella term:

Nikolai- I don't know whats going on with him but neither do they, unlabeled both sexuality and gender wise, labels are restrictive: doesn't correct any pronouns, just lets people refer to him as anything

Fyodor- *slaps him* you can stuff so much religious trauma in this one. There's so much gender fuckery here, I have a hc that whenever he takes over a body, the sex of that body remains, so I like thinking that he just goes by the sex of the body he is currently in cause they don't have any real connection to a gender. Unlabeled sexuality cause being gay is a sin /j, nah probably just doesn't care enough to think about it for too long: doesn't correct pronouns but presents as his current sex

Bram- cryptid. Honestly don't have any strong hc's for him, so let's say queer and leave it there: he/him
