and yeah btw i'm totally ignoring this boring storyline of silco knowing their mom and potentially meeting the girls before shit went down
i'm ready to accept silco knowing her, but even then for me he separated from the group at least before powder was born or not long after. jinx is just a random child for him when he takes her in
or else what the hell was that with willingness to kill children of your friend? wtf? and then feeling bad and adopting one of them? but still trying to kill another when it turnes out she survived?
what a fucked up sitution that barely make sense it would be. also it would take so much from his relationship with jinx and their tragedy
so yeah, now that i reminded of this stupid plottwist i make a deliberate choice to ignore it forever. and i think before that my mind just made the choice for me, cause until i saw that one post talking about how silco probably knew the girls in the beginning of the show i was still sure he just knew their mother....
#arcane#silco#jinx#it's just not good if he went severus snape for no fucking reason on the girls#like he wasn't even enemies with their father he was just their mother's friend#what the fuck

Watch Her w/ Sirius B. & Severus S.
KINK!tober w/ Nana Oct. 4 | m.list MDNI | cuck, p in v, male masturbation, fingering
When Severus had decided to find a room to hide in for the remainder of the Black’s Christmas Party, he didn’t expect to stumble into Sirius Black’s room. Looking back, the fact it was the only door that wasn’t dusted and polished should have given it away. But, hindsight’s 20/20. Backing into the room to make sure no one saw him was his second mistake. And turning around was his third mistake.
Because then he wouldn’t have seen the only reason he was there, sat all pretty on Sirius Black’s lap. Half naked.
Sirius Black was sat in his large armchair with you propped up, sitting against his chest. Your legs were thrown over his thick thighs, keeping them open. A mirror sat before the two of you, a few feet away. You dark red slip dress was pooled around your waist as your breasts were exposed to the room’s warm air. Sirius’ thick fingers played with your nipples as you squirmed on his lap, rubbing your ass across his hard length. Your eyes were closed as Severus’ had entered the room. A moan falling from your lips as you pushed your chest out further, into Sirius’ hands.
Sirius, on the other hand was staring down Severus, the moment he had entered the room. Grey eyes met scared black ones. Sirius couldn’t help but enjoy the fact that Snape looked so frozen and uncomfortable. He also didn’t miss the way Severus’ eyes groped to your chest and how licked his lips. Sirius was very aware that Snape had feelings for his cute little girlfriend. He just never thought he’d get such a good opportunity to rub it in the Slytherin’s face. Feeling some sort of sadistic enjoyment, he smirked at Snape who just stood there.
Your startled gasp had the two men break off their staring contest. Quickly covering your chest and squirming to close your legs – which Sirius’ didn’t allow – you blushed and looked away from Severus’ stare. Trying to get up Sirius’ arm stops you;
“Siri, let me get a shirt.” you insisted. Before awkwardly turning to Severus.
“I’m so sorry Severus, you probably don’t want to see this.”
Sirius made a buzzer sound.
“Wrong.”
“Huh? What do you mean Siri?” You half turned to Sirius.
Severus, wanting to escape, took the opportunity to reach for the door, needing to leave and deal with the new problem in his pants. But Sirius was faster. Grabbing his wand, he locked the door, trapping the three together.
“Sirius!” you cried. “Why did you do that!”
Instead of answering, Sirius simply went back to groping you chest, noticing how easily your arms fell and how you eased back into him. He chuckled against your neck as his eyes flickered back up to Snape, keeping eye contact as he gently bit down. Your wanton moan echoed through the room. Snape stood there uncomfortably, the tightness in his pants only got worse with each passing second. He watches as Sirius’ fingers tugged and squeezed your pert nipples. The way that your breasts would bounce as he tugged on the flesh. Severus’ eyes were half lidded as he swallowed the saliva collecting in his mouth. Sirius’ voice brought him out of his ogling.
“So are you gonna sit, or get out?” Severus looked at him blankly.
“Don’t play stupid, we both know a simple ‘alohamora’ could get you out.” Severus tried to fight the flush that crept up his face.
“So as I said, are you sitting or getting out?”
Severus turned to you and was surprised to find your curious eyes already staring back. Brows slightly drawn as you watched him. Thinking, fuck it he was never getting a better opportunity to see you like this, he slowly made his way to the opposing chair. As soon as he started to move, Sirius’ resumed his actions.
Your soft moans began to fill the room again. Your squirming on Sirius’ lap increasing before you mumbled out,
“wan’ kiss” turning your head, Sirius sat up and met you. Your lips pressed hotly on his as you moaned into the kiss. Sirius’ tongue came to lick against the seam of yours. Opening your mouth, you easily accepted him, sucking on the appendage. Your own tongue came to press against his.
Severus watched, his eyes greedily drinking in the way you kissed. He imagined himself in Sirius’ place, how you tongue would feel against his. How would your plush body feel in his arms? Severus hand absentmindedly reached down to readjust himself.
As the kiss got heavier and Sirius’ hands got more forceful and intentional. One of your hands made its way up to tangle in his hair, pulling on the dark locks. The other began to creep down your body, past your stomach and in between your legs. Severus watched as your fingers began to rub gently circles over your dress. A low groan slipped past his lips as he squeezed his length.
Breaking the kiss, Sirius asked,
“Stand up for me baby,”
On wobbly legs, you got up. In one swift pull of the zipper, your dress was pooling on the floor – leaving you on your matching red panties. With Sirius’ command of “sit” you plopped back down on his lap, spreading your legs.
During all of your squirming, your panties had gotten both soaked with your slick and had moved. Your puffy left lip hung out, which quickly drew Severus attention. He felt like his mouth was both too dry and overflowing with saliva. He wanted to taste you so badly.
Hiking your body up on his, Sirius hand held your thighs open as the other went to rub your lips over your panties. Making eye contact on the mirror, he blew you a kiss. You giggled as you relaxed into the pleasure he was giving you. His fingers traced your lips and dipped into your slit over your panties. Gathering some slick, he moved to circle your clit. Moaning you parted your legs further, trying increase the pressure. Throwing your head back you whimpered against Sirius. Your hips ground against his hand. Your whines pitching higher and higher as you got closer and closer to your high.
Meanwhile, Severus looked completely pussy-drunk despite the distance. Lidded eyes drunk in your figure as his mouth hung open, panting slightly. He felt hot all over and couldn’t think of anything other than his achingly had cock. Massaging himself over his trousers just wasn't cutting it any more. Carefully unzipping them, he hissed as the pressure was relieved. He began stroking himself over his wet pants. Even thorough the material, his hand felt wet from his pre. Eyes zeroing in on your cunt, he let out an audible moan when Sirius pulled your panties aside and revealed your glistening core. Feeling the cold air your pouted and shivered, looking so cute. Sirius’ voice brought you out of your head,
“Open your eyes love. Look at him.”
Your eyes slowly opened, taking a moment to focus on the other man in the room, you finally saw Severus spread on the chair, touching himself. You couldn’t help the moan that tumbled from your lips and the way your core clenched around nothing. Sirius just chuckled from behind out. Reaching down again he now touched your bare cunt. Fingers slid easily along the puffy flesh, his middle and index coming up to circle around your hard clit. Your whole body jerked as he continued the assault, every now and then dipping his fingers knuckle deep into your core.
Severus watched. Licking his lips as he saw how your wetness dripped down your ass. How he so badly wanted to bury his face between your thighs and eat you out for hours. Deciding yet again fuck it, one hand held down his pants while the other pulled his long length out. What his didn’t expect was the moan that followed. And it wasn’t his.
Who knew your hot best friend who was just touching himself to you had big dick? Well you did now. Severus eyes snapped up to you as you stared at his length. Seeing you moan for him made Severus weak in the knees. Pre dribbled endlessly from hit slit. Feeling like he was gonna cum he gripped his base tightly.
Sirius was also feeling it, no matter how many times he’s had you, he still felt like a fucking virgin that was gonna burst his load too early. Lifting you up onto his abs he pulled his length from his pants, giving himself a few stokes before lining up, covering his head with your slick. Ever the gentleman, Sirius asked,
“Ready?” Instead of answering, you promptly began to sit down on him, feeding inch after inch into your hot wet cunt. It was Sirius turn to throw his head back and moan, short nails digging into your hips.
“Fuuuuck” He groaned out as he bottomed out. He took a few calming breaths before your hips began to impatiently give little bounces.
“Siriiii, mooove” You whined. Planting his feet, Sirius began to thrust in and out of you. Each long and heavy thrust knocked a moan from your chest. Sirius knew your body like the back of his hand. Angling his hips just right made you see stars. Knowing he hot your g-spot, he began to drill it, knowing that you wouldn't last from the foreplay, and himself from the wait. As he continued to thrust into your gummy walls, he chanced a glance over to Snape.
Severus was reclined, right hand jerking his length while the other was covering his mouth. Dark eyes trined on your figure, bouncing from your face, to your bouncing breasts, and to where you were currently being fucked. Occasionally his hand would stop at the top of his impressive length, thumb drawing circles on his slit, making his eyes flutter shut for a moment.
Another thing that Sirius had noticed was that the bastard was matching his pace.
Each drag of his hips matched the pull of Severus’ hand. Groaning Sirius picked up the pace, fucking into you faster and meaner. His hand found your clit and hingers began to rub into it. Your moans turned into cries that had both men cursing. Your voice began to climb and whimpers of ‘close’ and ‘feels so good’ scattered in with the moans. Seeing you so lost in the pleasure was too much for Severus and with a low long grunt, he was cumming. Spurts of white shot out of his length, as his hand tugged on his head, drawing out his orgasm. His cum splattered on his chest, as he heaved, eyes still focused on you as you climbed the peak of lust. Your eyes drunk in his debauched figure.
A sudden whine of “cu-cumingggg” had your walls clamp down on Sirius’ dick, milking it for all it was worth. His fingers continuing to circle your clit, hoping to prolong your high. Letting go Sirius buried his face in your hair and his arms seized around you, pulling you flush. Ropes of his hot cum shot into your womb. Ribbon after ribbon coated your walls. Moaning as you felt the warmth, you hummed in pleasure. Everyones panting breaths filled the room. The distant sound of the party droned on. Feeling yourself finally relax into Sirius arms, your eyes began to close, still cock-warming him. Sirius husky voice pulls Severus out of his daze.
“She’s probably not gonna say anything, always gets so sleepy.”
Severus watches how gently Sirius pets your hair and looks so lovingly at your tired figure. Suddenly feeling out of place, he grabs his wand and magics the mess on his clothes away. He buttons up his trousers and stands on unsteady legs as Sirius tends to you. As Severus is leaving, Sirius calls out,
“There’s a guest room with a bathroom two doors down.” Pausing at the door Severus nods before exiting.
Sirius gently shakes you,
“Ready for bed?” Nodding you snuggle into him further. He picks you up and takes you to the bathroom to clean up before tucking the both of you in bed. AS Christmas parties go, it definitely wan’t the worse.

Hello, I just bindged watched all of The Purge movies so here's what I think certain Marauders characters would be doing during the Purge
(for anyone who doesn't know the purge is when anything is legal for 24 hours)
Remus Lupin wouldn't want to be outside for the purge but would go out to rob a bank or some shit. do some really small crime so he can get a bit of money for his sick mother
Barty Crouch Jr is fucking insane. He's fully out there in masks and covered in blood and is torturing people for his own entertainment. Yknow during the movies when you get little glimpse of people being strung to a car or being set on fire or some shit? yeah that's where Barty is and he's having the time of his life
Evan Rosier is part of those really rich clubs that kidnap poor people and hunt them for sports. He's just as insane as Barty but likes it to be a lot more contained and safer for him
Charity Burbage is at a purge party that her family hosts. The idea of the purge scares her but coke half way through the night she feels safe enough to let loose and not worry so much
Lily Evans is out during the purge helping people and killing the rich people who are trying to target the poorer areas. She hates the purge
Mary MacDonald is trailing Lily in hopes of protecting her because she's worried that Lily is going to get herself killed
James Potter and Sirius Black are out during the purge just for shits and giggles. If anyone comes after them they're dead but they're not going to actively harm anyone unless they really piss them off
Regulus Black is indoors and not coming out. He supports the purge and approves of everything that's happening but he doesn't want to be in it. His house is on lockdown and he's chilling at home while listening to people scream outside of his door. He doesn't help anyone. It's not his problem
Bruce Mulciber, Edmund Avery Jr and Juliette Wilkes are all out together targeting people who they don't like and earning money by kidnapping people to be given to the rich as a sacrifice. They're also just destroying building and shit whereever they go. they're having a lot of fun
Severus Snape was invited to go out with Mulciber, Avery and Wilkes but decided to stay home to protect his mother. His father went out during the Purge and Severus has his friends to kill him for him
Marlene McKinnon and Dorcas Meadowes have a business where people give them the names and addresses of people they want to be killed (for good reason. not any petty bullshit) and they go out and either kill them or scare them enough to right their wrongs
Pandora Lovegood is at home waiting for it all to be over. She hates the purge and will never participate
Peter Pettigrew was at home but was forced outside after his block was raided. He spent the entire night outside with no protection or plan
Aurora Sinistra is with her entire family round her aunties house. They're on lockdown and are playing board games and listening to music to pass the time

My X-Men Hot Takes
As I'm sure many of you who have been following me have seen, I'm a pretty big fan of The X-Men.
However, I do have some reservations with them.
And with their ongoing resurgence in mainstream popularity, I've decided to share my hot takes/unpopular opinions I have on the team.
Admittedly, I have some takes that are pretty commonly agreed by a majority of X-Men fans.
But still, I have a lot that would probably piss a lot of them off.
So without further ado, let's get started.
-Mutants have become less interesting/The X-Men have WAY too many characters.
This is basically a two-in-one, but I decided to do them together since they essentially connect with each other.
Mutants have just become a lot less interesting due to the writers keeping them largely huddled together in recent years.
What made mutants so cool was that they were widespread and that not all of them were connected to the X-Men.
Which just made the world feel a lot bigger and fleshed-out.
But over the last few decades, Marvel has developed this mindset that EVERY mutant needs to be connected to the X-Men.
Hell, it was the reason for arguably the worse thing to happen to the team.
This unfortunately has led to the issue of the X-Men just having.....way too many characters.
Like, remember when there were spin-off teams?
X-Factor? The New Mutants? X-Force? Excalibur?
Even though those teams are still around, they have the issue of being too connected to the X-Men now.
And this need to have all mutants to be connected to The X-Men, has lead to another major issue with mutants....
-Retconning mutant heritages.
Over the last decade, Marvel has infamously went out of their way to retcon the mutant heritage of several mutant characters who weren't all that connected to the X-Men.
The most infamous examples being in the case of The Maximoff Twins and Franklin Richards, the latter of which was the most notable example of a mutant that's not connected to the X-Men.
Once again, this makes the world feel somewhat smaller and makes the mutants a lot less interesting.
-For the Love of GOD! Stop with the romance/relationship drama!
Romance/relationship drama is one of the hardest parts of writing.
Largely because it's rarely ever done particularly well and often become incredibly annoying and usually makes the people involved look pretty bad.
Usually since it relies on stuff like cheating, infidelity, unfaithfulness, etc.
Which anyone with more than two brain cells would know isn't a good thing...
It's even worse when they try to make these actions actually come off as good and acceptable.
Which like....
youtube
But anyway, since the X-Men are essentially glorified soap operas, you better believe they have romance drama!
It's one of the best/worst examples of this I've seen in media.
They have it all!
Cheating. Unfaithfulness. Infidelity.
And since we're talking about the X-Men, we can't forget about their staple....
Love. Triangles.
youtube
Seriously, nobody in the X-Men are all that faithful to each other....
Except for Gambit weirdly enough.
But anyway, please just keep these guys in actual fucking stable relationships.
I cannot take ANOTHER FUCKING love triangle....
-The treatment of Magneto.
I like Magneto, but even I have to admit I cannot stand how he's been treated in recent years.
Over the last few decades, there's been a lot of favoritism towards him.
And I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, it's borderline dick-riding.
Like, if we're had to make a list of the most dick-roded characters in the fiction.
Magneto would be at least in the top 5 alongside Bakugo, Severus Snape and even The Joker.
A lot of this comes from people believing that his mindset and actions were actually justified.
Leading to the infamous phrase that was founded by incel Quinten Quire....
*sigh*
"Magneto was right."
As you could tell, I'm hate this phrase.
For two reasons.
It's been ran into the goddamn ground. Like, I've frequently check out the X-Men subreddit, and I swear, I still seen people saying that Magento was right. Even on Twitter, I see this! Which, after seeing it and hearing it so much and so often, you can't help but just go....
youtube
2. It's led to this habit of writers constantly painting Magneto as this savior who's always in the right and that his mindset and methods are truly the way to go for the sake of mutantkind. This also led to the effect of trying to make him seem like he was always secretly a good guy. Even retconning events from the earliest X-Men stories such as him stealing missiles from the base and saying that he was actually doing this so that the X-Men actually had an enemy to fight. Like, prior to all this, Magento was depicted as being a villain. Even when the legendary Chris Claremont took over and gave him more depth and made him a sympathetic villain, he was still depicted as being kind of a terrible person who has done legitimately terrible things. What really made Magneto such as great villain was that he was a tragic one as well. Not just because of his backstory, but because of the fact that he became the very thing he hated: a bigot who wants to subjugate an entire group of people, no matter what. But in a way, I know this is gonna sound insane, Magneto is even worse than the Nazis! They were trying to subjugate a group of people, he's trying to subjugate an entire species! They needed an army and forces to do all that, he doesn't. Magneto is literally a one-man army. Now don't get me wrong, they're both REALLY bad. But remember, Magneto is literally threatening like, half the life on the planet. And although him finally becoming a good guy was the way to go, I'm still not a fan of it. Largely because he never really gets a redemption arc. We never see him actually show any regrets towards his past actions, or realize that he was wrong. Because they did, then he wouldn't be right. And GOD FORBID Magneto could be wrong about anything. I'm sorry man, but you're never gonna be him....
-The mutant metaphor has become a bit of a problem.
Now this gonna be a real controversial one.
The mutant metaphor, while obviously well intentioned, is not exactly good....
99% of X-Men fans reading this:
youtube
When you really think about it, it doesn't really make much sense.
For starters, there's the obvious aspect about how most super-powered beings in the Marvel Universe tend to get a pass, but there's just no exceptions with the mutants.
Despite the fact that to the eyes of the average civilian, most of them could qualified as a mutant.
There's also the fact that having the mutants being a stand-in for minorities is kinda awkward given that most of the core members (not all of them mind you) are primarily white....and American.
I do think them being a stand-in for social outcasts does work, but even that's kind of an issue given that many of the core X-Men are incredibly and conveniently attractive.
Like, don't you dare even try to deny it!
I've seen you people simp for these guys!
So have I!
But the reason I say the mutant metaphor is problem is because there seems to be this mindset that this is all the X-Men are good for.
Just being an allegory, and nothing else.
And in all honesty, that's just incredibly restrictive from a writing standpoint.
Heck, if any of you've read my X-Men fanfic series, "X-Men: The Mutation", you'd probably noticed that the mutant metaphor, while there, isn't as present as most other adaptations, or even fanfics of the X-Men.
And that was because I wanted to focus on other aspects of the team and didn't want them to just be a walking allegory.
-The Fox X-Men films are not that good.
While the reception of these films seem to be mixed nowadays, I've never really cared for these films.
Since I'm among the group of people who actually look at adaptations as, well, adaptations, as such, the X-Men films are quite pitiful.
The films never captured the appeal of The X-Men.
That being The X-Men themselves!
Like, The X-Men are literally an afterthought in their own film franchise.
Largely thanks to Fox constantly focusing on one member solely and hardly anyone else.
First it was with Wolverine, and then it was with Mystique.
There's also the fact that they hardly pulled from source material, largely because they were embarrassed by it.
Like, they were not being subtle about that at all.
Do I need to even play that line again?
The only films in that franchise I would consider good would be the Deadpool films.
Because....
They were actually good
They wore the comics on their shelves rather than being embarrassed by it
They were the most disconnected from the X-Men films
Speaking of which, this franchise is infamous for its absolute clustefuck of a continuity.
You know things are not that good when they can't even keep a consistent timeline.
-The characterization of Cyclops.
Just like with Magneto, I really like Cyclops, but I'm not a fan of how he's been written for nearly 20 years.
Yeah, I'm not exactly big on Revolutionary Cyclops.
Apart from the fact that he emerged during the X-Men's roughest era, there's also the fact it's had quite the effect on any discourses surrounding the character.
Fans seem to believe that Cyclops can only be portrayed as a revolutionary in all forms of media.
Literally nothing else.
Hell, it's so bad that people are already begging for '97 Cyclops to become a revolutionary!
Look, I get that Cyclops wasn't too many people's favorite, specifically during the early years.
And the Claremont era didn't exactly do him too many favors since he would be slowly phased out along with the rest of the original X-Men.
But I feel like he really came into his own during the 90s.
Plus, '97 and Evolution Cyclops showed that Cyclops doesn't have to be a revolutionary in order to be a. engaging and interesting character.
There's also a few more issues that's arose from his characterization.
The last near 20 years have really highlighted Cyclops' skills, to show why he's the leader of The X-Men.
I get that you want to show that he is a competent fighter and leader.
However, it's gotten to the point where fans seem to believe that Cyclops can beat anyone in general, no matter how crazy powerful they are, with his ridiculous amount of plans and back-up plans.
Starting to sound familiar?
There's also that fact that fans and even the majority of X-Men writers seem to believe that Cyclops always has to suffer just to be interesting.
Essentially, he suffers the same exact problem as another major Marvel character.
And just like what people have said about him, Cyclops constantly suffering has gotten incredibly repetitive and stale.
You can only do it so much before it starts to become boring and tiring.
And lastly, him being the leader of all mutantkind and the one to unite them all....
I don't like this.
He should be ONE of the leaders, but not THE leader.
Is there literally no one else that could co-lead?
Also, with him being the leader and unifier of mutantkind.....
I wouldn't say it's white saviorism or a Messiah thing, but it does feel somewhat adjacent to that.
I kinda feel like all this was done as a form of compensation for how much of a punk the character has been portrayed as in just about every major X-Men adaptation of the last near quarter century.
Bar a few exceptions....
-COLOSSUS IS NOT A PEDOPHILE!
So over the last few months, some fans have discovered about the infamous age gap between Colossus and Shadowcat during their early years with the X-Men.
Colossus was like 19 at the time, while Kitty was 13 to 14.
Which, for anyone that isn't asking to be on a list, isn't good.
However, people have taken to claim that Colossus is actually a pedophile.
But here's the thing people seem to forget.
He was written by John Bryne.....
For anyone who doesn't know, Bryne is infamous among comics for his habit of pairing underage girls with grown men.
He did this with Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Woman, revealing the latter met the former when she was 12 years old and he was in college.
He had Superman kiss a 14-year old on the lips.
And perhaps most infamously of all, having Peter Parker lock lips with Mattie Franklin, a 15-year old.
While he himself was not only in his mid-20 around this time, but also still a MARRIED MAN.
youtube
(Fun Fact: This was one of the earliest attempts of Marvel trying to get rid of Mary Jane for.....obvious reasons)
(Also, I hate this panel with every fiber of my being. And I typically I don't like to wish death upon people, but I'm making an exception. Bryne needs to get drug out into the street and shot, because I'm starting to think he may possibly be the EDP445 of comic writers. Like, you can not write this shit and not expect people to notice a pattern and raise a few eyebrows)
But besides that, it seems that since the 2000s, they've quietly retconned all this (for obvious reasons) to have Colossus and Shadowcat be much closer in age.
The Summers Family Tree has become a problem.
Just about everyone knows that the Summers family tree is an absolute mess.
Like, there's only so many alternate reality children, alternate future children, and clones that you have before it seems to become old and tiresome.
There's also Mister Sinister's famous obsession with them.
Like dude, I understand that they're powerful.
But like, are just not any other powerful mutants you could be obsessed with.
What about Storm?
Iceman?
Hell, what about Magneto and his kids?
The treatment of Xavier.
This is basically the opposite of how Magneto's been treated.
Whereas Magneto's been depicted as a secret hero, Xavier's been depicted as a secret villain.
I get that Xavier is not perfect, but the dude has been so villainized over the last 20+ years and revealed to have done a lot bad things, he might as well be called Satan.
And frankly, it's become tired.
Like, how many times have they done the "Xavier has done something terrible" shtick now?
The most recent was in The Fall of X.
At this rate, why is he even still here?
Since he's apparently never done anything good for anyone, he should just leave already!
There's also the fact that apparently his dream was always bad and never what mutantkind needed.
And to that I must say.....
youtube
While he may have not approached it in the best way, his goal was far more noble and frankly, what mutants really needed.
Showing that humans and mutants can peacefully co-exist with each other.
Maybe not all of them, but still, being able to show that it is possible.
And in general, this would be a future where everyone wins.
Whereas Magneto's, wouldn't.
This would be the most obvious in the case of the humans.
But even for the mutants, there would be a bit of an asterisk for them.
Magneto has proven he's not as accepting towards all mutants as he lets on.
Like remember Toad?
He fucking hated him and treated him like shit!
The X-Men and their relationship with the much greater Marvel Universe needs to change.
To wrap this all up, we'll be talking about a big one.
Ever since the 2010s, the X-Men comics have become infamous how they characterize other major heroes of the Marvel Universe.
That being.....not in a flattering light.
Most of these guys are portrayed incredibly poorly, not acting like themselves at all.
The only exception to this is Spider-Man.
But then again, he gets written with more respect in every other title than his own.
This is obviously done in order to make the X-Men look good.
Plus it's pretty apparent there's a great bias towards them.
But however, I think this has the opposite effect.
All it does it make the X-Men look like egotistical, self-serving assholes who would gladly screw people over (no matter how disastrous) if it meant they got to survive/thrive.
"Yeah! I love seeing my favorite heroes being portrayed as selfish cowards!"
There's also this....
These panels are from the X-Men relaunch, and they've been quite infamous for....obvious reasons.
And apart from that, it just makes the X-Men also look like self-victimizing douches.
Basically saying that they're the only ones suffering, and that nobody else in the entire damn world knows what it means to struggle.
And as you can tell, they'll usually say it to people of color.
You remember that panel from Ultimate Spider-Man when Spidey cursed out the X-Men and called them out on their bullshit?
Yeah, can we get that for these versions?
They really deserve it.
Also, I recently saw a comment that said that X-Men comics are the only place where white writers can fulfill their fantasies of yelling at people of color and then cry about how THEY'RE oppressed.
And after seeing these panels, I wholeheartedly agree.
Well that's all I have for now.
These were some grievances I've been having with the X-Men for a while now, and I wanted to finally get them out.
I really hope that anyone who reads is able to respond to this in a civil manner and possibly not call me a racial slur.
But I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
I have a few more of these, but these were the ones I could only do for now.
And I'm planning do something similar to this for undoubtedly the biggest Marvel character of them all.
But until then, I'll see you guys around.

A/N: Missing Scene for a fic I haven't written yet lmao. I hope you like it! ❤️
@wolfstarmicrofic
—
Sirius watches as Fleur and Maeve excitedly talk, the little girl making large hand gestures all the while. Fleur joining the Order is surprisingly not surprising, considering what happened just short of two months ago — she barely even took the time to go back to her own country before signing up. And she’s good with kids, never making Maeve feel less because of her young age, which can only endear her to Sirius.
Molly is busying herself in the kitchen once again; her children are scattered around, Ron looking more and more annoyed each time they remind him he can’t tell Harry anything. Ginny doesn’t exactly look better either. The twins are talking to each other in low tones, seemingly unaware of the world around them; Sirius knows better for seeing them react to anyone coming a bit too close to their private discussion. Bill is alternating between trying to help his mother and looking at Fleur with a look in his eyes Sirius knows well.
Remus is drinking his tea beside him, his gaze fixed on Maeve as well. She laughs, and she sounds just like Remus when they were young and invincible. She doesn’t have his hair nor his eyes, or even anything of him, yet she is so jarringly his daughter all the same.
Maeve Lupin, taking their old heart hostage since 1993 and onward. Sirius smiles into his own tea.
Snape suddenly comes in like a bat out of hell (and who should have stayed here). He sneers, his usual expression when in the presence of anything breathing. His sudden arrival stops all motion in the room — even Molly turns around with a new tension in her shoulders — except, of course, for Maeve who somehow manages to not notice him. One of her wide hand gestures ends up with her bumping into Snape, and she blinks owlishly at him as she realizes his presence.
“Oops. Sorry!”
Remus puts down his cup, watching the exchange carefully. Sirius feels ready for a fight. Snape sneers some more.
“Should learn to leash the beast,” he says, and Sirius sees red; Maeve straightens up, scowling, and wonderfully unphased.
“You’re mean and ugly and still wear the same robes than two years ago!”
Remus snorts, a low sound nobody else probably caught. Snape opens his mouth to answer; Sirius has already silenced him.
“Don’t fucking talk to my daughter like that.”
Snape glares and glares and glares some more; then, with a dramatic swish of his cape and a last sneer, he disappears into the corridor.
“Why he's so mean anyways?” Maeve huffs, still scowling, and Sirius hates seeing her like that — she’s a child, she should smile and laugh and be happy.
“Oh, he's just a jealous dick,” comments Ginny, ignoring her mother’s following reprobation to wink at them.
Maeve thinks it over. “Because I'm smart and pretty and he's not?”
“The smartest and the prettiest,” confirms Sirius, and things suddenly feel a bit lighter.
-
When they had to move into Grimmauld Place, the first room they cleaned up and decorated and otherwise made sure looked just right was Maeve’s.
Despite the clutter expected from a seven year old, the room is still clean and perfectly lived-in in a way his parents would have hated. Not enough control, probably.
Technically, Sirius has no reason to be here and kiss Maeve goodnight, but he’ll be damned if he misses it for anything. Maybe it keeps making things weird between him and Remus, because truthfully they still have no idea where they stand with each other, and Maeve calling them both her fathers is delightful and not helping at all. But he'll do it all the same.
That night, Remus grabs his hand as they exit her room and close the door behind them; there’s a look in his eyes, fond and hopeful and a little bit of something else, too, that Sirius recognizes so well.
“You called her your daughter,” he says.
Sirius thinks back to the scene in the kitchen. “I did.” He never had before; Remus is the one who adopted her, not him.
For a few seconds, Remus doesn't say anything, absentmindedly playing with Sirius’ fingers instead; he looks almost shy, as if trying to find his words and failing, and it reminds Sirius of their first year at Hogwarts when Remus was still so afraid of everything.
“I liked it,” he finally admits, and Sirius catches him blushing, and he can’t stop smiling.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
Sirius lifts his hand to Remus’ cheek; in the dim light of the corridor, he looks just the same as when he kissed him for the first time.
“Good. I don’t plan to stop.”
Remus nods, squeezing his hand before dropping it, offering him a bit of his space back; instead, Sirius bends down and kisses his cheek.
(Maybe they’ll be alright, in the end.)
#my fic#my writing#hp#wolfstar#challenge#idk how i feel about this one#but it's out#anyways i adore maeve and i need to write her more

Hey, do you have any thoughts about Peter betraying Lily and James (Harry)? Also, what are your thoughts on Snape? I’d love to hear what you think about this
Backstabber by @seriouslysam8 has the best explanation about Peter's betrayal
Too many people minimize Peter's friendship with James, Sirius, and Remus. Those four were as tight as Ron, Hermione, and Harry. It would have been like if Hermione ended up telling Voldemort where Harry was and then killing a bunch of muggles in the process to hide. That is why it was such a big deal, because of how close Peter and James were. Sirius, James, and Lily all trusted him enough to keep them safe. I cannot imagine how James felt when Voldemort showed up at their door knowing that Peter betrayed them.
Snape is an interesting character, just not a justified one. No one can justify that Neville's biggest fear is his teacher or that he completely bullies Hermione and her teeth or that at the age of 10 he tried to hurt Petunia with a tree branch or the fact that he would sided with the death eaters originally. However, I respect the fuck out of him for his ability to be both Voldemort and Dumbledore's right hand man. Can I justify the name Albus Severus... maybe? But I can reason why Harry would name his son that. Snape saved Harry in the sense that he let him beat Voldemort, that he gave him the weapon to destroy horcruxes, that all along he was trying to help the good side, even if that reason was because he loved Lily.
Also, I headcanon that Snape worked really hard to protect the students in DH, without outing his true intentions. There is a reason that Hogwarts did not completely fall until late Spring. That the punishments by the Carrows were not unforgiveable curses and dungeon stays since September First. There is a reason Ginny, Neville, and Luna only went to the Forbidden Forest. There is a reason Ginny was never taken to Malfoy Manor even though she was Harry's (ex) girlfriend and the daughter of a famous blood traitor family. And I chose to believe that reason is that Snape was trying to protect them. And that is also why Ginny was okay with the name Albus Severus too.
#like i am not pro snape#but i am not anti snape either#i think its okay to let morally grey characters remain morally grey

violent ask game... 8, 10 and 12 pls? :)
Also... don't be scared, fandom is not half as violent as people imply... most of the time :)
Hello there! Thanks for these! 😄
8.) common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
Hmmm! My mind sort of immediately jumps to anti-shipping 😂 That's the biggest thing I would say is common to see that I would also call wrong. The only thing people's reading/writing preferences tell you is that they enjoy reading or writing that thing. That's it. No one's a bad person for reading/writing content that makes you uncomfortable.
10.) worst part of fanon
Gosh. Partly I think confusing fanon for canon but, specifically, when people are wrong and want to argue about it. Now I will admit I'm a big lover of "Snape as Draco's godfather." I know some people don't like it, and I understand why they don't, but I will eat it up like candy! However: I know it's not canon. Also: I'm not gonna fight anyone about it. AND: on the off chance I did spout nonsense and found out I was wrong, I wouldn't double down. I'd go fact check myself and be like "oops my bad, you right." It's bad enough when people wanna get up in arms over fandom of all things, but it's worse when you're doing it when you're WRONG.
12.) the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
SNAPE. SNAPE. SEV-ER-US SNAPE.
This feels weird because I'm obviously in the Snapedom and am surrounded by much Snape love, but...I feel like he's a character people either love or hate with very little in between.
I stumble upon Snaters in the wild and get my feelings hurt because Severus Snape was my first love. (I read the books when I was like 7 and it was love at first sight, okay?) (And I turn 31 on Monday, if that tells you anything.)
Reddit post: "List of Reasons Snape is the WORST" me: yeah I know, don't you see why I love him??
For me it's sort of twofold. The best reason I can probably sell people with is that he's a complex character. The complexity gets lost a bit when people are so hellbent on painting the portrait of a "tragic hero" or a "terrible villain." Our man has layers, okay? Like an onion.
Is he nasty and rude and cruel? Yep. Is he also intelligent and passionate and devoted? Also yep. Did he do some really fucked up shit? Yep. Did he also do some really good deeds? Also yep. This man runs the dang spectrum! Join some blood supremacists? Yikes. Die in the war effort to save the world? Okay that part I don't want to talk about, I'm still not over it.
He had horrible, terrible things happen to him. He grew up in poverty. He was in a neglectful, if not abusive environment. He was bullied in school, and sexually assaulted. But he wasn't a "good" victim, see. He wasn't a sweet lil fella. He wasn't fragile; he was sharp. And he wasn't exactly likable; which made all attacks on him seemingly "excusable." So yeah, we can see why he went down a dark path. It's not okay by any means, but surely one can understand it.
And when it came down to it, he changed his mind. A lot of people nowadays can't do that. It's hard to change your ways, and say "hey I was wrong, I'm turning away from this now." But he did. And he put himself in danger to spy on Voldemort. And yeah, this very traumatized dude went on to traumatize other people. Hurt people hurt people, as they say. But he tried. He gave so much of his time and his life to righting his wrongs.
His life was spent in suffering. All the abuse he endured. The disdain. Then his own self-hatred when he realized where he went wrong. And those wounds never healed. He was forever haunted by his pain, and by his mistakes.
Which sort of leads me to my second point: he's not perfect. He's not an easy person to love. But he's so terribly human. He's just a man who was put through the crucible time and again. He wasn't perfect. He never became this handsome, flawless gentleman. There is so much to him! There is enough to judge and hate, sure, but there's also plenty to love. And this is such a strong case of....people aren't all good or bad. His good and his bad are both so clear! And I can't get enough of it, I stg. I love this man. Truly just adore him.

I’m out here getting pressed for no good reason @ marauders stans
Okay it’s for a good reason their caption was literally just “snape slander” but it feels silly, cue some incoherent rambling below: (I am DEFINITELY about to start my period)
Their post went something like, “when you’re talking to a Harry Potter fan and they’re an ‘always’ fan and you’re a ‘moony’ fan”
Like cool whatever bestie stan Remus! I don’t care, he’s the least gross out of all the marauders!! Hell, I don’t even dislike him that much though my opinion on Remus isn’t really what matters here
But like
I know it’s easy to chalk Severus up to that creepy guy who joined up with the wizard nazis and was hopelessly in love with his childhood best friend, because I was totally in that same boat for a while though I only held those beliefs to impress my crush at the time LMAOOOO
That’s not important rn though
- He joined up with the “wizard nazis” because they were a cult and he was indoctrinated into said cult. He was groomed into feeling like he didn’t belong anywhere else. He may have done this in a misguided attempt to impress Lily as well, but that doesn’t negate the grooming, conditioning, and indoctrination. Those words are all a bit interchangeable, but my point still stands.
- Yes, Severus was canonically in love with Lily for years, but he was never gross or creepy towards her?
- There is the whole ‘mudblood’ incident, which was obviously out of pocket. The subtext there reads that Severus, in total fear for what James was going to do to Lily (I’ll come up with receipts later if need be, but James was literally blackmailing Lily into dating him there) was trying to push her away from him and make it seem to James that they weren’t friends and that he should leave her alone. This was once again very misguided, as is a common theme in Severus’ early life, and it resulted in the usage of a slur, but if you learn to read between the lines there were pure intentions there however nasty his words were. (For the record I don’t ship Snily)
- Also, technically speaking, Severus can reclaim that slur but uh, that’s not exactly my place to speak on (grammar is hard you know what I mean)
- Severus Snape is not a perfect angel who’s done no wrong. He’s killed and tortured in the name of a blood supremacy cult, for one. But he’s not fucking Voldemort either. Not only did he realize the error of his ways and change himself for the better (even if he was only holding up his end of a bargain for a while,) but he watched over and protected Harry very markedly. There’s obviously more but I’m not gonna talk about stuff I don’t have receipts for.
I’m not trying to convince people not to hate him because at the end of the day that’s your call! He’s literally not real!! He’s just some ink on a page, pixels on a screen, or an image in your head. He doesn’t care if you hate him or not, he can’t. He’s not capable of that. I guess I’m just kind of defending him to this person I’ll never speak to.
Hormones man, they make you do things

Can you please do yellow 4 and green 2 if you have time😊
Yellow 4:
“I think I broke my leg.”
Ariel closed her eyes. She could feel the rage radiating off of Severus in great sheaths, like he was the side of a volcano about to collapse.
“Please tell me you’re joking.” Severus strangled out, the look on his face enough to tell Ariel he was trying very hard not to snap Sirius’ neck.
Sirius shot Severus a look that should’ve caused him to drop dead on the spot. “Fuck off, Sniv. I’m serious.”
“Gladly,” he snarled back, grabbing Ariel’s arm. “We’ll fuck right off right now, you idiot. We’re only sitting ducks here —”
Ariel shook free of his grasp and mustered together a glare even though her hands were shaking so badly that she didn’t know how she could still think straight. “We can’t leave him here, Dad.”
“Oh yes we can.” Severus sneered. “It’s his own damn fault we’re in this mess — as usual, Black has thought of no one but himself, not even his precious goddaughter —”
Ariel bent down as Sirius grappled for his wand, no doubt about to Hex Severus and put them in an even bigger bind. Sometimes, Ariel wondered if she let them, if they’d just bicker and bite until the world ceased to exist.
“Both of you, stop,” Ariel said sharply. “I need to concentrate, if this is going to work.”
Severus muttered something that blistered her ears under his breath while Sirius’ head head the ground with a muffled grunt of pain.
“Seriously, kiddo, I can manage —”
Ariel ran a Diagnostic before she lifted her wand, studying the fracture through the skin, the spell making the skin translucent. Sirius winced and balked, craning his head away. Ariel wanted to tell him that she’d seen way worse, but that would only make him upset.
“This is going to hurt,” Ariel said softly. “but it’s the only way to get you up and walking. Okay?”
Sirius smiled grimly. “Not like I have much of a choice, yeah?”
“That not what she asked, Black.” Severus muttered.
“Get fucked, Snape.”
“Well, which is it? Fuck off or get fucked?”
“Oh my god.” Ariel said under her breath. “Okay, ready? One — two —”
There was a hard CRACK and a yelp of pain from Sirius. Ariel tried to ignore the backflips her stomach was doing and checked on the leg. It had healed, the fracture visible below her fingertips.
“Good as new,” Ariel breathed. She stood and went to go stand next to Snape, trying to slow her racing heart. If she hadn’t known that trick, they would’ve —
“Where did you learn that?” Severus murmured, low enough that only Ariel could hear it.
She smirked. “Modified one of your spells.”
He said nothing, but there was… Something glimmering in his eyes. He didn’t even comment as Sirius got to his feet and made a rude gesture with his hand at Severus.
Green 2:
“You’re safe here, I promise.”
Severus tries to make the words soft and low, but it still comes across far more gruff than he would have liked. Ariel lifts her head and looks around the room blearily before her eyes snap to his, wide in alarm.
“Where —”
“Order safe house.” he murmurs. He lifts a hand to brush her matted hair back from her face. He finds himself doing it over and over again until that frenzied look, like a frightened doe, finally leaves her eyes.
Ariel swallows, hard. Her fists knots in the sheets, the other rubbing almost desperately at her face. Severus grabs both and holds them tightly in his own.
“How long was I out?” Ariel rasps out. Severus hands her a glass of water Granger left on her nightstand. She takes it but doesn’t drink. Severus wishes she would, her voice is cracked and dry and broken.
He forces down the fact that it’s from the screaming.
“About four days.”
Ariel glances down at her hands, bruised, her fingernails still caked with blood. She licks her lips and places a hand over her heart, as though checking to see if it was still there.
There had been good reason to believe it might not be.
She takes a sip of the water and nods to herself a couple of times. “Did it work?”
Severus feels his lips twitch, the ghost of something else playing at his mouth. “Seamlessly.”
Ariel smiles, and it looks like her heart is breaking.

The Crown of the Morally Grey
Part 1.
Hellooooo this is part 1/?. It’ll be a lengthy multi multi part fic I will be posting on AO3-user name Killaprevail-as well. This part is 1649 words long and it’s only the beginning. Eventually, it will be Y/N X Draco. Swearing, later parts will include violence, lots of angst, but for now swearing is the only warning! I won’t be doing any smut in this sorry!
Y/N IS NOT A “HERO” IN THIS
Severus Snape ! Daughter Y/N
Enjoy!✨
____________________________________________
Spinners End wasn't the nicest place, and the house at the end of the street wasn't any different. The small home could be seen as rather depressing, the furniture old and desaturated in color. For most of the year, the house would sit quiet, leather bound books collecting dust in silence. Now though, the furniture had all been dusted, curtains drawn back to let in some light. It was another exceptionally grey day, but for once, the house was anything but quiet.
“Why do I have to participate?”
“I already told you why.”
“I don’t want any part of this! I’m already stuck in it because of your shit choices, and now you’re making me get even more involved?” The fight between Severus Snape and his sixteen year old daughter had been going on for days. Severus had been out of the house even more than usual, and when he was home it led to a series of questions from the witch until he finally told her the truth.
Severus Snape was a double agent and Y/N had no say it in.
“I need your help in this. Dumbledore asked specifically-“
“Fuck Dumbledore. Lots of help he’s been, it’s fucking fantastic never having a father who’s never around because the old git is helping him commit suicide.”
“Y/N you will not talk about Albus that way.”
“I’ll talk about him however I want. You’ll be killed.”
“No one will find out Y/N.”
“And if they do I’m an orphan and the daughter of a spy. Fucking fantastic!”
Y/N stormed out, slamming her bedroom door shut as she went. The fights had seemed endless lately. She was scared and mad and so tired. Sleep had been a thing of the past ever since she found out about her father. It was impossible to not stare at the clock all night, worried he’d somehow been caught. Sometimes she wished he had just stayed being a Death Eater, at least then she wouldn’t be worried about either side finding out the truth. No, she knew her father wasn’t a double agent for good reasons, but why’d it have to be him? Her participation wouldn’t bother her so much if she had any kind of say in it. In fact, she found what her father was doing to be quite noble, and something she’d been debating on doing for the past year. No one would question if a Slytherin girl had joined Voldemorts side, she’d be welcomed with open arms but Merlin why did her father have to be a part of it?
Her father had also told her about The Order Of the Phoenix, the good guys, whom she would join without hesitation, but the idea that her father could be on the opposite side of her in a hypothetical battle was enough to make her puke. And Dumbledore,-fucking Dumbledore- had specifically asked Severus if she could help. She was the same age as a few kids on the opposing sides, even friends with one. Dumbledore had told her father he just wanted her to watch out for them, make sure they were alright, but she knew the truth; Dumbledore wanted another double agent. Again, it was something she probably would have done, even offered to do if it wasn’t something she had to.
Merlin she wanted to hit something, to pull out her hair and scream. The fantasy of ringing her hands around Voldemort and Dumbledore’s necks came to her before she kicked the closest piece of furniture hard enough to make her wince.
“Stupid fucking-“
“Y/N…” her door opened slowly to reveal her father, his face blank as ever but his eyes showing his concern. Despite how hard he tried, he could never hide his emotions from her.
“Yeah, I’m coming. Give me a second.” Severus nodded and closed the door.
She quickly pulled on a sweater and gave the bedside table she had kicked a glare before heading out to meet her father. The tension in the air was still floating around, but it wasn’t as thick, at least for now.
She had only begun prepping dinner when there was a knock on the door. The Snape household very rarely had visitors, in fact she couldn’t remember the last time they had one. All the information she’d received lately told her that this couldn’t possibly be good. Swallowing her nerves, she went to the front door and opened it.
“Miss Malfoy, what a pleasure. Come on-“ Y/N’s greeting was cut short when she saw who was standing behind the familiar witch; Bellatrix Lestrange.
Definitely not good.
The infamous witch terrified her. Her father never hid the evils of the world from her, and had told her why Bellatrix had gone to Azkaban when news broke that she had gotten out. Bellatrix was even more sadistic than most Deatheaters.
“Come on in, would you like some tea?”
Y/N slipped back into the kitchen as soon as she could, leaving her father to talk to Mrs. Malfoy and Bellatrix Lestrange.
God it’s already starting.
Although she knew her fathers double agent life would start affecting her soon, she didn’t think it would be this early. Bellatrix Lestrange was in her house for fucks sake, Merlin only knows what she could want. She couldn’t help but stare at the door that separated the kitchen and living room, keeping as silent as she could in hopes she could make out any vital information.
Bellatrix didn’t trust Severus, Narcissa did, the Dark Lord had told him something that Bellatrix didn’t think he should know. None of it really surprised her until a familiar name caught her undivided attention.
“You know what the Dark Lord has asked of Draco, he’s just a boy.”
Draco was tied up in all of this?
Of course he was, she should have known better. Everyone knew the Malfoys had ties to Voldemort, especially Lucius Malfoy, and Draco liked to blab him mouth about his father being involved though he never gave details. Was this why he hadn’t been answering her owls since school had gotten out? She’d seen the anxiety in him one the Hogwarts Express on the last day of school. She’d figured it had something to do with his father and the Dark Lord, but she hadn’t imagined Voldemort would ask something of Draco.
“It might be possible for me to help Draco.”
Her fathers words put her in some sort of trance and she found herself bursting back into the living room, causing the three adults to go silent.
“What does he need help with?” She demanded, her eyes on Narcissa and Narcissa only.
“This is no conversation for a child, leave.” Her father said with more emotion in his voice than she’d heard in a long time and she could feel his eyes on her but she didn’t budge.
“I’m the same age as Draco, he’s only a few days younger.”
“This doesn’t concern you, Y/N.”
“Yes it does.” She turned to her father, giving him a determination look to which returned with.
“Severus, the Dark Lord hasn’t approved of-“
“I don’t care, Draco’s my friend. Let me help.”
Narcissa stared back at Y/N, an internal war going on in her eyes. Narcissa was familiar with the young Snape, she’d practically watched her grow up from how often she had come to visit.
“I’m not sure how you could help Y/N.”
“She won’t be. Y/N, leave.”
The anger that struck Y/N was unlike any she had felt in a long time. How could he and Dumbledore request her to watch over the other students but not permit her to help any of them? Especially her friend.
No, Dumbledore would tell me to do this, it’s father who doesn’t want me to.
Dumbledore must also know what Draco had been asked to do, that was probably why he wanted to to watch over him. Perhaps Dumbledore was even more manipulative than she thought. Despite her anger towards the older wizard, this was one of his motives she agreed with and wasn’t going to let go of. Even if she had never gotten asked to do anything, she would have noticed something was up with Draco and watched over him anyway. There had been many times Y/N had been the person Draco vented to, and many times they had both either accompanied eachother in a comforting silence or forced whatever was wrong out, even what one time Y/N had to smack him to put his head back on straight.
“If she wants to help, let her.” Bellatrix finally said, a wicked grin on her lips as she began to walk towards Y/N.
“What better way to prove your loyalty to the Dark Lord than your own daughter helping Draco fulfill his role?” The laugh that threatened to fall from Bellatrix’s lips made Y/Ns blood run cold, but she continued to stare straight at Narcissa, waiting.
“Y/N I can’t ask you to-“
“I’m not asking, and I’ll do it with or without your permission.”
Her fathers hand on her shoulder caught her off guard momentarily, breaking her stare and turning her head to look at him. He nodded only enough for her to see and stepped forward.
“We will help Draco.”
“Swear to it.” Bellatrix demanded. “Make the unbreakable vow.” Her voice came out somewhere between a whisper and a hiss. She had began to approach both the Snapes.
“It’s just empty words. They’ll give it their best effort but when it matters most, Severus will slither back into the hole, coward.” Bellatrix had circled them before walking back over to Narcissa. Y/N glared daggers at the unhinged witch anger replacing any amount of former fear, and she stepped toward Bellatrix who’s wicked grin reappeared.
“Take out your wand.”

Do you mind if I ask your top 10 favorite characters (can be male or female) from all of the media that you loved (can be anime/manga, books, movies or tv series)? And why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before.....Thanks....
Hi Anon! Thank you so much for the ask! No, I hadn’t been asked this before.
It was quite hard to come up with 10 names for, outside of my current blorbos, throughout my life (which is quite longer than that of most people around this site) I’ve consumed and loved a lot of fiction, and so I’ve loved many characters, but also many of them I fell in love when I was too young to know (or remember) why I liked them, or know anything about characterization at all.
Still, I tried to cover a wide variety of works/genres, which as I racked my brains came with some interesting revelations:
- The first characters that came to mind were all males. It took me an extra effort to recall some female characters that I love.
- The list is white af. This can be for a number of reasons, all related to complex societal dynamics, cultural constructs and how the media portrays or ignores this. This is meant a light hearted ask, so I won’t delve into that, but I did want it to make clear that yes, I’m aware this list lacks diversity.
Some of these media I haven't seen for years so apologies if my memory of some details is not very accurate.
Last but not least, as I don’t like the reductionism of “top x”, I am listing with bullets for these come in no particular order. (Except Levi, of course; as current top Blorbo he could actually fill the top 10 by himself.)
Levi Ackerman (AoT) – He kicks ass, he’s a no-nonsense guy, he’s got a rough exterior but it’s a kind person. He’s had a shitty life but he chooses to be the good guy, even if he has to resort to violence sometimes.
Severus Snape (HP) – I said it already and I’ll say it again that I’ve no proof and no doubt that if you were a Snape fangirl, you’ll be a Levi fangirl. Snape makes Levi look like Miss Congeniality in comparison. He too had a rough life, went over to the dark side, yet realised he’d fucked up big time and spent the rest of his life trying to minimize the damage his actions had caused. PLUS he’s a huge nerd.
Mike Ehrmentraut (BB/BCS) – Mike is SO OVER being a badass. He just wants to live a quite life spoiling his grandaughter. His curse is being too good at what he does, and he can’t help but care about the idiots that would die if he wasn’t there to clean their messes. (On the topic of diversity... Honorable mention for Stanley from The Office and Lester from The Wire, whose “I’m too old for this shit” vibes give me life).
Arya Stark (GOT) – She didn’t stay around suffering for her losses nor went into a rampage, nope. She took the long scenic route to become a pro killer to serve her revenge in a cold dish.
Heidi (from the 70's anime series)– Hands down my first and oldest Blorbo. She lived in the mountains, roamed barefoot on beautiful meadows, was friends with a bunch of goats and all the little critters of the alps. What’s not to love? (At the ripe age of 3, I would make my mum buy me goat cheese bc if Heidi ate it, so must I. At 4 my parents took me to the mountains in winter so I could see the snow and the fir trees that Heidi loved. We’re rewatching now and my new Heidi Blorbo is Joseph the dog, he’s got big Mike Ehrmentraut energy).
Jesse Pinkman (BB)– He’s a good guy who fell into the wrong path. He’s had rotten luck, partly brought onto himself through bad choices and poor judgement, yet he still tries to do good and craves some love.
Petunia Dursley (HP)- Harry's unlikable aunt kinda grew on me over the years, as we saw some of her backstory and how it resonated with parts of my own family history. She grew up knowing herself the lesser child and I believe she never got a chance to smooth things over with Lily. In spite of which P. still cared enough to do the right thing and take charge of Harry (horribly, admittedly).
Omar Little (The Wire) - I don't usually like "bad" characters but Omar was more badass than he was bad. Circumstances made him a violent criminal but he I believe he had redemption potential. Also, how cool is it that he was unequivocally gay in a setting where everyone tends to be so macho... but of course no one would say anything about it. bc it's Omar.
Peter - he's the MC and first person narrator from a rather unknown Ray Bradbury's short story titled “I’m not so dumb” which is one of my favourite Bradbury's tales. Like the title suggests, as the story unfolds the simple-minded Peter will try to show his neighbours that he's not that stupid.
Mafalda - I could not leave out the title character of the (likely) most famous comic in Argentine history. Mafalda's concern for world affairs is of course unrealistic, but it does sort of put those call-outs "in the mouth of babes".

Lily isn’t an infallible judge of character. In fact, there’s a fair amount of evidence she’s pretty naive and a poor judge of character. Lily trusted Peter completely. Lily thought Dumbledore couldn’t possibly be friends with Grindelwald. Lily went along with the unbelievably moronic Secret Keeper plan. Lily ignored Severus’ radicalisation until it hit her in the face. She’ was wrong about all of them, why would she automatically be right about James?
Lily fancied James long before he supposedly changed. She already fancies him when he’s at his absolute worst! It’s obvious in the book and JKR confirmed it. Most sensible girls would witness his cruelty in Snape’s Worst Memory and run a fucking mile. Treating female characters as a measuring stick of men’s moral worth based on their relationship choices is reductive. She wasn’t a saint. She wasn’t even especially good. She was a normal 15 year old girl trying her best and often failing in abnormal circumstances.
Real, I’m definitely biased toward Lily because we are extremely alike. I have also had a Severus and a James (both bad experiences). I also may be too willing to forgive someone if they’ve proved to me that they’ve changed, I forgive Severus for the things he said and did as a death eater, and of course there’s good evidence there that he really did change. I forgive James for the awful things that he did although the only evidence that he changed was anecdotal, I just feel like I don’t understand doing one without the other tbh.
I don’t think she’s necessarily a poor judge of character for being tricked when everyone else also was, and she probably did try to fight back against Severus’ radicalisation. I spent a lot of time arguing against my Severus’ bigoted ideas and never changed his mind. I think that Lily seems more intelligent and reasonable than most, but still definitely just a normal girl.

Rant About Snape
So, I've fallen back into Harry Potter. I understand that JK Rowling is an awful person who does not deserve any form of respect. I am also trying really hard to separate the art from the artist. I do understand that the Harry Potter world is far from perfect and that there are many contradictions and holes and some of the things make zero sense, but I do find that the world is very easy to fall into
Now, with that out of the way. This rant is all about Severus Snape. If you like his character, ignore this and just don't interact with this post. I really don't want to argue with anyone about him, I just want to get my feelings towards him out there
Also, I'm currently rereading the books and just finished rewatching the movies, so I apologize if things aren't fully correct. My memory isn't the best and my brain sometimes mashes fanon/headcanons/fanfic with canon
Now, rant under the cut
Severus Snape is a god awful person who does not the deserve the fanbase that he has. Well I do think that him getting a redemption arc is interesting, I hate the way it's done. JK had a few different things she could've used with his character to make him a good person (which, honestly, he's not), but instead she went the "I was in love with your mother and she chose someone else" route
His "love" (I really wouldn't call it that, it's a massive obsession) for Lily is creepy. Yes, Snape was bullied, but he also was a bully in school and as a teacher. Lily told him that she didn't like that, and instead of doing what James had done (taken time to reflect and correct his behavior), Snape called her a slur and joined a group of people wanting to eliminate people like Lily. He was bitter that he was put into the friend zone (something that really only exists because men don't view women as people and get upset when a woman doesn't want to fuck or be in a relationship with him)
I don't like that in the movies (I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen in the books, but I could be wrong since it's been literal years since I last read the last HP book), Snape hugs onto her body and sobs while Harry's hurt and crying in the background. It isn't cute, it isn't romantic. It's weird and creepy and shows how little Snape cares for other people. Yes, I understand that he lost the person he loved the most, but it's still really fucked up to do that while her infant son is screaming and bleeding in the background
Snape is a petty man. He did care somewhat for Harry, but that was only because he's Lily's son, but overall, he was borderline abusive to Harry just because he was James' son. I am not saying that James is completely innocent in things, he was a bully to Snape, but Harry is not James. Harry didn't get a chance to know James
He completely disregards how uncomfortable and defensive Harry gets when Snape insults James to Harry's face. Yes, people should have told Harry about James' meaner side, but they mostly told him that James was a good person (because he was). Snape is challenging this belief and is shitting on James for no reason other than to be petty. I know deep down that Snape knows that James was a better person than he ever will be, and that's why Lily picked James over him. But there was no reason to be so rude to an abused boy who's going through hell and drag his dead father in the mud
Again, I don't remember if this happened in the books, but I hate when Snape is teaching Harry how to build his mental defenses. They're going through some good and important memories with people who are dead and Snape is over here like "getting sentimental are we, Potter?" and "I might vomit". Like, these memories are important to Harry, treasured memories with people he will literally never see again
Then when Draco cursed Hermione in the first book (I think) and made her teeth grow into large buck teeth, he looked at the crying girl and said "I see no difference". Yes, Hermione can be a know it all and very annoying (a whole nother rant, but I do love her), but there is no reason to tell a child who is already upset enough that there's no difference in her appearance. This led her to permanently change her teeth
Snape was Neville's biggest fear. Not Bellatrix, who literally tortured his parents into insanity and probably tortured him as well. Not his grandmother who seems to be a little abusive, not anything else. But one of his teachers. Someone who is supposed to be on his side and support him through school because learning is hard, especially for someone who's magically stunted like Neville is. Honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if Remus had reported this. What bugs me is that he wasn't immediately fired. If a child's biggest fear is one of their teachers, that teacher should not be allowed to teach
It bugs me that Snape gets so annoyed at Harry and Sirius for thinking life isn't fair. Both of these two had been abused. And before you say "Snape was abused too", I know this. But this bugs me because Snape is fine with Snape being mad at the world, fine with Snape holding onto grudges for decades. But Harry and Sirius aren't allowed to be mad for the exact same reason that he is? Like, that's such backwards bullshit
Then Snape outed Remus as a werewolf, which made him quit the job he so clearly loved. Yes, he made the potion that helped the transitions be easier, but there was no reason for him to out Remus like that. Remus already was struggling to get, and probably keep, a job because of a condition out of his control. This just goes back to Snape is a petty and whiney bitch (also doesn't help that he tried to nudge students to figuring this out when Remus couldn't teach and he taught them about werewolves)
He tells Sirius that he would love to see the Dementor's Kiss be performed on him, despite that he knows full well that Pettigrew was the traitor and not Sirius. This stems from him being petty and fucked up. Like, yeah, Sirius was a jerk to you, but does that really warrant wanting a front row ticket to watch him get his soul sucked out of him, a fate that's been stated to be worse than death??? I don't think so
Snape was abusive towards his students (clearly). He was willing to force feed Neville's pet toad a potion that he believed could kill it, doing so in front of the whole class. I do not care that he was abused (no one should be), but he kept that cycle going. It's disappointing that he was allowed to be a teacher with how he behaved
He made fun of Hermione for her Patronus being the same as Ron's, but then his Patronus was the same as Lily's. It can't be both ways. You can't make fun of a literal child for her Patronus being the same as the person she loves (not a fan of the Ronmione ship, but that's a whole different thing), then turn around and have a doe for a Patronus, which is the same one as the woman you "loved"
There's also the fact that he begged Dumbledore to keep Lily's family save, not caring at all about Harry or James, but wanting Lily to be fine. I firmly believe that he would've swooped in and tried to get her to marry him just days after James (and if Harry hadn't lived) and Harry's death. He does not take her feelings into account, and it's annoying
I know some of you are like "he was a spy". He only became a spy (if I'm remembering correctly) as soon as Lily's life was actually in danger. Before, he had no problems in the murder and genocide taking place because of a racist white man
Snape also created a spell that was meant to hurt the Marauders. And that spell is the same spell that lost George his ear (I can't remember is Snape was the person who actually cast that spell that took his ear, but he still created it)
He basically stole Draco's redemption arc. JK had put more focus into the creepy man's redemption than a child's. Draco, like Snape, was abused and reacted the way he did in situations because of that abuse. But, he also is shown to have a heart (something I don't think Snape has). He's shown to be scared and remorseful (i.e. the bird in the Vanishing Cabinet), while Snape's only regret is that he didn't get Lily. Draco was overshadowed by Snape, we didn't get to see how he would've grown so much if he had gotten love and care. I would've loved to see him get redeemed in the books, but Snape stole that spotlight
So, in conclusion, Snape is an abusive incel who is still bitter that he was "put into the friendzone" and wasn't picked over his bully, who was a better person that he was. This man should not be allowed to be a teacher. I struggle to find any redeeming qualities in him, and I wish I could
Genuinely, no hate to Snape Stans. He's a fascinating character, but he's also someone I just can't stand. This is all opinions and the reasons why I don't like him. Remember that I did not create this post to argue with anyone, but I am willing to have conversations as long as they don't turn into arguments. Just ask me anything if you have any questions or want to clear things up. Please don't go into my ask box or DMs to try to change my mind, because I am not changing my mind. This wasn't made to change anyone's mind, I respect that you have feelings one way towards Snape, these are just my feelings and thoughts

was that grant gustin? oh no no, that was just james potter, a canon character from harry potter. they are twenty one years old, use he/him, and are aware that they are not actually from washington dc. too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.
how long has your character been here:
two and a half years now, his age is closer to twenty three
what is your character’s job:
he's a secret service agent!
where has your character been pulled from in their fandom:
initially, only up to the fidelius charm, but as of halloween 2021, he remembers up to his death
has any magic affected your character:
none beyond altering his memories for a bit
and any other information you might find useful for us and the other members to know:
james potter my beloved. he was born to rich pureblood parents, after they thought they couldn't have kids, so he grew up rather spoiled and arrogant
he was sorted into gryffindor at hogwarts, and immediately became friends with sirius black, remus lupin, and peter pettigrew, while keeping up an intense rivarly with severus snape
he was absolutely an arrogant little fuck as a kid. he was a rich kid who was good at sports, of course he turned out that way. but he ultimately has a good heart, even if he can absolutely be kind of a dick sometimes
he was head over heels for lily evans from the time he was eleven, but she had zero interest in him until he grew the hell up and acted like a mature adult. they started dating as teenagers, and just barely beat teen pregnancy, good for them!
war time pregnancy is just as cringe though, so they did have a bit of a shotgun wedding after joining the order of the phoenix. they knew the order was fighting for what was right, and james was eager to join up as soon as he turned seventeen
their son, harry, ended up being prophesied as the chosen one who would defeat voldemort, and he and lily went into hiding to protect themselves and their son, but unfortunately they were betrayed
peter gave away their location, and james sacrificed himself to give lily time to get harry and get out of the house. he and lily both died, and his son was sent to his in laws to be raised in a muggle community
in dc, james is still a cocky little shit, but he's mostly grown out of the arrogance and swaggering of his youth. he has enough money that he doesn't really need to work, but he does so anyway, because he hates being idle. he does throw that money around a bit, but more in a 'why not' kind of way then a 'show off' kind of way
he's also definitely furious having heard how his son grew up. even if sirius wasn't available or legitimate reasons, vernon and petunia would have been his absolute last choice to raise his son, and that will never change

Would you mind writing about the Raphael meeting Severiel thing? I'm always a sucker for Raphael thoughts and opinion on people.
When the least stressful thing to do after the latest meeting with the Metatron was gardening, of all things, he should have assumed something was wrong. He tried to think back and say ‘yes, there had been something in the air’.
… but who was he kidding, really. This stuff was random. And all he could do to cope with it is keeping a level head.
“For fucks sake.” Which probably meant he had failed step one.
He thunked his head against a… castle wall? Apparently?
Diving into a different universe became somehow more unnerving, now that it didn’t leave him that unsettled anymore.
A quick check of his own self that nothing major had changed about himself. Still a male corporation with long silver hair. Still able to conjure up wind strong enough to lift said hair and regain control over the headache that started to form.
As far as limitations went, it was bearable.
When he opened his eyes, picture frames to the side of him… mumbled?
He turned his head and frowned. Why.
The people within the pictures… moved. And looked at him suspiciously.
After the motions did not repeat itself after two minutes of staring, he straightened his back, smiled gently, nodded towards the pictures – no one else was there to judge – and said: “Hello madams and sirs” – the period clothing seemed to indicate that might be right? - “Can I alleviate any concern?”
“Well! You, young man, were cursing in those hallowed halls!” A portentious female exclaimed and actually walked towards the picture frame, which… was astounding, but miracles can do a lot, maybe it was one? Or technology? The AI got that much better?
“… and I regret doing so, ma’am. I did not intend to intrude and am at a bit of a loss. Could you tell me how I could leave the premises and relieve you of my uncough presence?” That was a positive about the whole universe hopping, he could definitely travel a bit around.
“Hmph!” She emphasized. Sure. “You can’t just go in here! You at least have to speak to the head master! He will see what to do with you!”
It seemed Raphaels presence was deemed undignified and wrong. Which… was a fair assessment. He nodded again: “I shall happily subject myself to their judgement. May I ask for directions?”
“No! But you can follow me.” The lady said and apparently left the picture frame… to appear in the next one. That. Certainly was… “The hallowed halls of Sowguards are not easy to navigate.”
... Sowguards? Something tried to knock at the back of his mind. For some reason, it did not feel good.
“I… who… is the current headmaster?” – it did not hurt to ask, he supposed.
“That would be Professor Severus Snape,” she said primly, skirts waving behind her. Raphael wanted to stop and stare and frown.
At least he hadn't completely forgotten a name. It was just... similar. And... if he looked around with that information, he could remember the layout from some video games he played. It was a bit uncanny.
“I look forward to meeting him,” he bit out. Still reeling a slight bit. Now, would this would be a book or a movie version? Was it related at all? It was a bit insane.
Following her with less urgancy (he knew now where they were going, apparently he had appeared near the kitchens. Which might answer something else), he tried to remember whatever he could about 'Severus Snape' he could. Not that it's a good basis, it might be completely unrelated, but well... not too much upset for the status quo would be a good idea.
She abruptly stopped in her tracks, staring over to ‘the guest’ and seemed disappointed he was not breathing heavily, unlike her: “You… now you… you go straight, then left, then two right… then use the stairs and then you go to the gargoyle.”
“Thank you very much, lady. I wish you a good day”
“Hmpf”
Ah, it was fine. The gargoyle was easy to be found – even with the wrong instructions, she mixed up left and right. And when he whispered ‘lemon sherbert’ to it, the creature did actually blink and look at him, with a frown: “Not been used since ages, mate. What’cha want?”
“Speaking to headmaster Snape, apparently, I wish to leave the premises.” He was… slightly baffled by the stony creature moving and talking, but well, the pictures were a good precursor.
The creature closed its eyes. Ideal to study the wing structure on it’s back: completely nonsensical. After a minute the theoretically unseeing stone slabs ‘unblinked’: “Not the right name, fossils're a bit loopy, but he’ll be there in a minute”
Raphael nodded and straightened his casual wear – jeans and T-Shirt are barely presentable, but he didn’t need to be, not really.
As promised, the man showed up, the gargoyle stepping aside. He was actually dressed in wizard robes. And, wrong name or not, he seemed to be… the movie version.
Which was a little bit uncanny. And a little too close to his own Metatron, face-shape-wise. But… that was… not of import. He might be a completely well-adjusted person, here. The niggling voice that said ‘fat chance’ was… ignorable. Somehow.
The man looked down with the strict expression his movie self had usually worn as well.
“Ah. Good evening. My name is Severin Prince. I am the headmaster and protector of this school. Care to explain what brought you here?” – he gestured towards the now-open doorway behind the gargoyle.
Mh. That was only a conditional threat. Which… maybe was justified. Raphael nodded and took a step inside. A quasi-Metatron in 'Sowguards'. It was… an odd feeling.
