sometimes i think about how muriel could actually probably not look like he does in his official design considering the circumstances of his upbringing and implied (?pretty loud & clearly stated if i remember right) eating disorder like cmon im not a gym expert but hed have to be eating gaston worthy quantities of eggs to be that buff his whole life

i felt so genuinely happy when he started breaking through it at that masquerade and it led to my second tangible moment of falling in love w him, when he scored two in a row by not liking mangos cause same omg finally somebody with sense around here and devouring that lemon which ive done at more than one a party too in my time so that constituted a moment of deep kinship for me XDD soulmates 4 lyfe jvzcjtfd

Yes! - when you look at his child sprite, there's no space for muscle to grow there. It does make me wonder if all the bulk we see on him is leftover from fighting in the Coliseum? They probably would have wanted to keep their top fighter in somewhat decent condition, and then his life since would have involved lots of physical labor to survive off the grid with minimal food intake.

It does make me wonder how his shape changes over time, as he settles down with MC. Does he develop a comfortable dad bod? Does he never really gain the biggest appetite, and end up with a (still big) but less muscular frame? Does retaining physical strength become a way he keeps himself feeling safe, so the muscle stays but with some added mass from a healthy diet?

Welcome back to the Chill Valicer Save, everyone! We have reached Fall Tuesday as of this update, and with it, the addition of a new family member to the household! How did that go? A bit chaotically, to be honest...

-->I started the playsession with Victor and Alice asleep and Smiler hanging out in the barn gazing at one of the pictures Alice took on their recent Spooky Day group date (aww <3) – since they were pretty well done with robotics for the moment, I had them head downstairs, clean their nectar maker, then make another bottle of grape nectar to get their skill up. They obligingly reached Level 2 right as they finished up the bottle, allowing them to make strawberry and potato nectar – I had them start a bottle of the latter, since that’s the nectar that makes Sims extra-happy, and thus is one of the most Smiler-ish. :p While they were stomping away (and falling over, though they are getting better about that), Victor woke up, having achieved full energy by 4 AM (hooray for good beds!) – I decided to have him upgrade the shower in the blue-and-white bathroom with a self-cleaning coating (he’s done pretty much every other upgrade that I want to it), then got Alice up so she could clean a bunch of the spoiled food out of the fridge before polishing off some more banana split waffles. Meanwhile, Smiler finished off their potato nectar and set that and the latest bottle of grape nectar in the rack to age up before turning back into their regular human form for the day –

-->Just in time for a thunderstorm to rock up! O.o I was wondering why some of the animals were tense. I had Smiler fly into the kitchen to pet Surprise and help calm her while Alice had a cute moment with Shadow, then took a moment to take down and put away all the Spooky Day decorations –

Before having Smiler schedule a family reunion on the calendar for 2 PM that day with Rory, Felipe, Nalani, and – upon realizing the game insisted I have four guests – Clement Frost, aka the trio’s closest friends! Why? To help welcome their new Servo "child" into the world, of course! It's a momentous occasion, and Smiler wanted all their best buddies to be there to say hi! (And yes, I DID consider doing a baby shower briefly, just for the lolz, but I wasn't sure if I would be able to get all the goals done, nor did I need any of the baby-based rewards from it. Family reunion just worked better in this instance!)

-->With that sorted, I had Smiler upstairs to check the trends on SimsTube, since I realized they hadn’t made a video in a while. As it turned out, one of the hot things of the moment was dancing – so I had Smiler pop their streaming drone out of their inventory, turn it on, put on some Pop music (their favorite), and start grooving! Gotta show off those sweet sweet moves to the rest of the world! (Though they took a quick moment to weed Snappy first – gotta keep the Sixam mosquito trap healthy too!)

wow almost a week since my last post O.O

i’ve been eating pasta from previous post for most of this time.. and a lot of bananas.. not sure why lol

uni has officially started, the schedule is terrible, i dunno how will i do.

no time = no job = no money = no food (-᷅_-᷄๑)

today i tried a recipe from my book on seasonal foods

baked pears with cottage cheese and honey 🍐 🍯

and cinnamon and nuts also

i didn’t follow the recipe exactly so i will write the one in the book and specify what i changed (spoiler not that much but JUST IN CASE)

ingredients:

pears

honey

cottage cheese

walnuts

cinnamon

berries (didn’t use them)

lemon juice (also wasn’t used)

cut your pears in half, make a cut in the middle and take out the seeds. spray with some lemon juice and lay on an oiled baking sheet.

in a bowl mix walnuts, cottage cheese, nuts and berries with honey and cinnamon, lay the mixture on top of the pears.

bake for 30 minutes on 180°C. when roasted drip honey on top and spray lemon juice.

so, what did i change? firstly, i wasn’t feeling the lemon juice addition, yea yea, sweet/sour is a nice combination, but not today not on my kitchen. and also didn’t add the berries because, again, it would add acidity, that i wasn’t planning on today. i cut out a bigger dent in mine, so it would hold more mixture. and i added walnuts on top, not in, basically because i forgot they existed >3<

it looks pretty full, but trust me its 99% pear below.

oh and i ended up baking them for only 15 minutes on the same temperature. the pears came out nice and smushy, i added some more honey and cinnamon on top too. pretty tasty, not to sweet for my taste, you can add more or less honey based on your fruits and preferences!

do recommend trying!

some more about my life outside the kitchen: i am healthy now, a little lonely and sad these past days, but this too shall pass. bought a lot of seafood with my last pay check (i live near a sea, so its pretty cheap if its local) so the next recipe will probably be seafoodish :) thanks for reading this peeps, im gonna go eat the pear guts now hehe >:з

Blurb: All About the Food of Neocago!

In Neocago the majority of food is produced within massive vertical farming complexes known as agritowers. From them there are a number of common base products such as bioengineered mushrooms, ferns, algae, and single celled proteins. Meats, animal products, and more traditional crops are produced, but come with a higher price tag.

In the Undercity there are two main ways that people get food. The first is simply getting some cheap premade product from a vending machine or a grocer store (that is if there is one near enough). This often yields the most bland foods that is little more than the sum of it's ingredients crammed into a can or plastic bag. Things such as fernloaf, canned algae, and shroom patties. Enough to survive off of, but certainly not healthy nor particularly desirable. Some more creative folks have found ways to turn these into something closer to edible. This brings us to the second way food is procured in the Undercity. Street vendors and food stalls! Chefs experiment with these ingredients as well as some supplements (seasonings and vegetables) from small hidden gardens or Midcity grocery stores to make new dishes. This works, but cleanliness is often lacking leading to potential health problems. A major issue in the Undercity is growing food deserts, which occasionally causes some areas closer towards the edge of the city to become abandoned as food occasionally becomes completely unavailable.

The Midcity has decent grocery stores that provide traditional crops that are mostly unavailable in the Undercity. Many people in the Midcity often have a proper kitchen within their apartments and either cook their own food with available ingredients or simply eat premade packaged meals. Proper restaurants, with higher regard for health and safety, are dotted across the Midcity and provide many dishes as they would be before the Great Collapse. Of course there are also fast food restaurants in these parts of the city that quickly churn out cheap meals that are at the very least editable. Food shortages in the Midcity aren't unheard of, but a rarity in current times. In fact, much of the food that isn't sold within a couple days is often coated in bleach and thrown away. [I’ll leave you guessing why for now (o.o)]

The Uppercity is the center for fine dining and convenience. Real meats and animal products that are virtually unobtainable elsewhere are in abundance here. Every dish is only made with fresh high quality ingredients. Most apartments in the Uppercity have advanced vending machines that can be programmed to produce nearly any dish imaginable with ingredients automatically delivered directly to it. It is common for the hyper wealthy who have mansions to have their own personal in house chef. Even for them ingredients are often shipped directly to their door. An unavailable ingredient or dish isn’t simply unheard of here, but would be a great offense.

i might binge and order duck because im really craving it, it would be about 310 cals but hopefully i don’t binge and order it. Chinese food is always the death of me. even if i did it would be under my “healthy” daily intake though so maybe it’s fine. i say that now then tonight after i eat like shit ill beat myself up and cut again haha. well, let’s see how today goes.

New students always need help and leading, and now that there's a special new direction in place, the housewardens have an additional new task of ensuring everything goes appropriately and the women are integrated into their dorms and safe. It's a noble task in some way, even though Octavinelle doesn't have as much trouble as Savanaclaw or equality problems like Diasomnia. Still, Azul is diligent, and his friends are (mostly) loyal, so what he says goes. Of course, nothing less than the best is good enough for Azul, and he always needs to keep his influence in everyone's business to achieve that.

♡ Having one or two troublemakers was to be expected, but Azul honestly underestimated the feistiness of the other sex. (Not like he has that much experience with girls.) He was convinced he was doing them a favor by putting them under surveillance and with bodyguards if they wanted to go anywhere. Safety first, right? Wrong. Prime example? You. Feisty, quick on your feet, adorable you.

♡ Look, he gets it. You want to explore, have fun, and enjoy your college experience. But there's nothing saying you can't go into the forest with Jade, explore the school grounds with Floyd, and attend your classes with Azul. In fact, you should be thankful for the three since they are providing you protective friendships. What more could he want?

♡ Jade is just so attentive to all your needs, even long before you know what you need. He always has a new, fresh water bottle ready for you, handing it to you without the lid so you can drink it right away. He fetches you food in the cafeteria, so you don't have to queue up, and collects your uniforms, has them cleaned, and delivers them back to you. Occasionally you catch yourself forgetting things because you're getting used to Jade swooping in and helping. But hell, you swear you packed your pencil case, only for Jade to bring it to you barely before the beginning of class, so he's definitely missing his one, just so you have your pencils. Makes you feel bad to know he's getting scolded for it, while he only smiles at his teachers, thinking there's no greater honor than enduring this for your sake. Not like he didn't plan it. Someone had to take your pencil case out of your bag last night while you slept. this was your first time sleeping over at his home and last night, y’all were stuffing your faces with treats until your stomachs ached

you had mentioned several times how you were feeling sick - even after bokuto took you out for a late-night run - but he just told you to take a pain-killer and sleep it off

but now he was kinda regretting not calling someone to help 

like what if the sickness was a symptom to a deadly disease which took you overnight?

plus, he had tried everything he could think of to wake you up: he shook you, he blasted music from his phone, he opened the curtains to allow blinding light to shine on you, he flicked spits of cold water onto your face and he literally wafted cookies around the room in hopes you’d catch the scent 

but it was no use as even after all that, you didn’t move an inch

he tried to check your pulse which he believed to be on the wrist but he couldn’t think it 

so either he was too stupid to find the exact location or......you didn’t have a pulse

he’ll admit, it was an eerie thought that there could be a dead person in his bed rn but even he considered that a rather outlandish idea 

how could a person as healthy as you just die overnight? so he did what any reasonable person would do in that situation-- no, not call a doctor

anyway, at first, he’d probably just freshen up while you sleep: take a shower, wash his face, brush his teeth, floss etc so he’s no longer effected by that ✨morning crust ✨

but when he pokes his head out of the bathroom and noticed that your sleep asleep, he tries to blow-dry his hair bc he knows how much you like it when it’s all fluffy

but his blow-dryer was quite loud so he put it on for a few seconds to see if it’s wake you up and just as he expected, you were still sound asleep

so he blew-dry his hair until it was that soft texture that you liked so much- all while you were still like (∪.∪ )...zzz even though the blow-dryer was making a racket 

you were still sleeping and upon looking at the time, he realised that it was completely fair considering it was currently half past 8 and he had just woken up extremely early for some unknown reason

he didn’t want to wake you so he was just doing to go out for a run or make breakfast until he caught a glimpse of himself in mirror

after a while of rummaging through his nightwear drawer, the best he could find was a pair of white, silk, loose-legged trousers which he had bought for a halloween costume many years ago

you weren’t awake yet thought, so after he set up some candles to create a ‘mood’, he just sat next to you on the bed, scrolling on his phone and anticipating your reaction once you woke up

for a moment, he thought that he might’ve went when too far but upon taking a look at himself in his front-facing camera, he realised that there was no harm in spicing things up

once he noticed one of your eyes slowly flutter open, he quickly tossed his phone to the side and turned his body to face you, shooting you a kind smile and he gently ran a hand through his fluffy hair, ‘morning, angel~’ he cooed

you grumbled your greeting in response, then proceeded to rub your eyes to make sure you were seeing him correctly, ‘what are you wearing, tōru?’

‘can a guy not dress up for his special someone anymore?’

you rolled your eyes, playfully slapping his chest and going to hop out of bed until he pulled you back down against the sheets

a faint gasp escaped your lips but you were quickly hushed by oikawa pushing his finger against your lips, ‘you’re not going anywhere, (y/n).’

this was the first time you ever slept over at his house or next to him yet y’all had been dating for year and a half

he was just scared that he might accidently do something crazy in his sleep (bc of his powers ofc) and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt you 🥺

you were patient with him though but bc y’all had never woken up together before, he had no idea how deep of a sleeper you are

he thought it was cute at first bc you were laying there like the beauty you are, lookin’ all serene and calm and stuff

but after a while, he got bored on his own  #•̀ ︿ •́

also, you promised to bake macarons with him for breakfast and he was hungry as hell, still he didn’t want to eat without you but if he didn’t wake you up rn to make macarons, he’d surely starve to death while they were in the fridge

on any other day, he’d just try do it himself but when you helped him make food- it just hit different 😍

‘(y/n), wake up.’  he spoke into your mind using his telepathy, while light nudging your arm, ‘i’m hungry.’

you didn’t reply, seeming completely knocked out

he tried the next best thing, holding his annoying alarm noise near (but not too close) to your ear

still nothing, though

his last human attempt was aggressively pulling your blanket away but even after that you showed no signs of waking up so he realised that he’d have to resort to using his physic abilities

he considered using his astral projection to possess your body but he felt as though taking over your body might cross a few boundaries 

but he did try duplicating himself so he could shake you from many different angles but it was still no use

he continued to use his telepathy to try wake you up but it didn’t seem to work either

after multiple different attempts of using his powers to try wake you up; here he was, standing in the middle of some dystopian, apocalyptic scene - alarms ringing in the distant along with sirens, screaming, honking and wails. everything around him seemed to be engulfed by flames which created thick, smoky air 

he wasn’t really sure how he got here but he was pretty sure it started around the time he tried to form an energy ball 

whatever 🤷‍♂️ it’s no biggie

he jumped back in time so he was standing next to your bed once again, exactly where he left off before he created the energy ball

he stared down at your sleeping figure and let out an exasperated sigh as he realised that he’d have to employ one of his most dangerous tactics

he really hoped it didn’t have to come to this

‘(y/n), if you get up right now.’ his voice rung through your head, ‘i speak with my voice.’

just like that, both of your eyes shot open as you hastily sat up on the bed

‘do it, saiki!’ you cheered, a foolishly large grin plastered on your features

and he couldn’t help but smile too

Advent Calendar Stories 2021

If you have been following my blog for a while you have maybe been noticing that something was a bit different this year and that something was missing... the annual poll for determining this year's advent calendar stories heroes.

Since Dec 1st is about to happen (somehow it's almost December? How did that happen?! O.o) I think it's time to explain.

With a heavy heart I have decided not to continue the advent calendar stories this year. And here's why:

Real life is kicking my arse and I just don't have to time to do it anymore and interest in the stories have seemingly been at an all time low last year. Bonus reason: I'm a sucker for things that just seem to fit: This year would have been the ninth year of advent calendar stories... so there are eight times three different advent calendar stories which means there are stories about twenty-four characters which just seems a fitting end for stories that come in 24 parts leading up to the Christmas holidays.

I'm really sorry if you are disappointed about this news but I also hope you can understand and respect my reasons for it.

And now to the good news!

I wouldn't be tRRRiple for coming up to ten years now if I could leave my beloved alone during Christmas season and I do love the advent calender stories with all my heart....

So this year I will take you on a journey through the past and reblog the first ever advent calendar stories and post a surprise for you around the Christmas holidays for you to hopefully enjoy next to a lot of good food and drinks and to either give you a chance to take some time off from being with your family or to either give you something to smile about when you can't be with your family during the holidays (in that case I am always here for you anyway if you want to talk or whine or just fangirl together.)

Sending you all lots of hugs and well wishes! I hope you and your loved ones will be safe and happy and healthy as you can be in December.

I thought that watching Primal would elicit the same emotive quality in me, that watching the expressions in Godzilla vs King Kong and Rampage did. But turns out those giant animals were much more affectionately empathic than the giant animals in Primal. The relationship between Spear and Fang isn't just affectionate caring. They get annoyed with each other, have fights, and aren't so "touchy feely". Primal reminds me that there is a wider range of emotions that can be silently emoted.

(Sorry I didn't write reactions to ep1-3. I've been trying to not turn everything I watch into a production.)

Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal ep5

This series has got me on so high-alert, that I keep expecting something horrible to appear as part of this peaceful cove. I thougth the butterflies would be poisonous. I thought a big sea serpent woudl appear from the deeper part of the water. I thought the pollen would be poisonous. I thought that some bigger predator would appear, to explain why the fish were too docile or why the resources of that cove weren't used up already.

Hey, the title of the episode is "Rage of the Ape Men". Maybe that cove was a sacred site that no one was supposed to touch.

Well, if you wanted to set up a society that's super ritualistic or religious, without dialogue, this is how you do it. O.o

With the beatings that Fang can take, sometimes I think she has a healing factor...and an indestrucable skeleton...She's Wolverine. lol

Oh no! but there are 10 episodes of this series according to Google! Fang can't be dead! ;o;!

Is that a zombie dinosaur?!?!?

Oh now, the zombification worked fast! ;o;!

So isthis poor infected dino infecting the water supply? ;_; Well, if it wasn't by drinking before, spewingblood into the water now is going to do it. ;_;!

The sad part is whoever fights the zombie apatosaurus to save the eggs is going to get bit and infected.

Why is the infected zombie dino faster than the healthy dino running away????? Noooo! Don't die! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! ;O;

Well...now I remember how burtal this series is.

Dang,this zombie apatosaurous is scary.

I was afraid it was going to start infecting a herd of another pack of dinos at the bottom of that canyon.

Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal ep9 "The Night Feeder"

omg I can't believe that Spear didn't take Fang's celar warnign to run away!

Maybe a big snake? Fang is already established to be freaked out by snakes after the River of Snakes episode. And the big cat's killing must have been set in a jungle for a reason.

Nevermind. That predator perspective sounds like feet.

Why arne't the triceratops continuign to run?!?!???? ;O;!

Well, if it's a "night feeder" maybe they're safe by the fire.

Oh yeah, predators can come in teh day, just as much as night in this world. They may not be accustomed to a "night feeder" that only comes at night. Reminds me of how my dad who grew up in a haunted house, used to always say how funny it was that horror movie ghost stories always took place at night, as if scary/weird things didn't also happen in the day too.

It's funny how much tension is in that fire going out, while simply knowing the title of this episode.

So scared for Fang not being shown running as fast as Spear. Evne though I know she can.

Ok. What is it?

And why is it so fast? Sonic blasts?

What the heck? Why did Spear and Fang run in different directions? Ok, and what's teh black goo?

I was scared before, but now I"m just curious what the monster is.

Having this final battle with this specialized tactic from the protagonists, but shown from the perspective of the enemy/monster is really interesting.

It was just another dinosaur? Really? Ok, sure. I guess sometimes there are just all types of dinos.

Wait a second. Is Primal actually set in a "land of the lost"? And not just prehistoric times? omg

Well, she recognizes the plants in this area so it can't be all that different from where she comes from. If her civiliation has agriculture and uses the same plants... So this isn't a "land of the lost" situation.

I was just thinkign that if she comes from an organized settlement civilization she would have been the type of person who would've tried talkign to Spear already. lol. So she says her name is "Mia".

i'm really surprised that Spear missed teh chicken, but I guess it was a little small for his usual targets.

I'm always excited to watch a sequence of "Telling a story through pictures" made by animators and cartoonists. I feel like I'm about to watch a masterclass in effective storytelling.

Gotta pan back to show the carnage left behind! lol Most of the carnage in this series is beautiful or feels meaningful, but what was that pan?

So Mia's captors took her back...And they put up skulls of the tool-using primates to scare them off?

bakugou going downstairs to see his s/o making a strawberry milkshake and when he asks why their answer is ‘it’s a healthy midnight snack’ and he just goes ‘o.o why am i dating a moron..’

A/N: bold of you to assume he wouldn’t join in after getting past the initial “you really are a dumbass holy shit” phase of the whole ordeal. also i made reader a little western lol. the character katsuki bakugou as well as boku no hero academia does not belong to me, obviously, but copyright can be a kick in the dick. 

Despite your best efforts to keep your shared apartment quiet in your endeavor for a milkshake, that simply didn’t happen. You would think the carpet in the hallway would at least somewhat muffle the sound, but alas, Katsuki awoke with a jump after hearing a generously loud thud! coming from the kitchen area. His crimson eyes narrowed in the dark, preparing to leave his bed and go absolutely apeshit on the intruder. 

He gently got up and tried his hardest to not raise awareness that he was awake to whoever decided to break in the Bakugou residence. As he closed in on the kitchen, the sound of a knife hitting a cutting board repeatedly grew louder. 

“Now who on God’s green earth broke into our fucking apartment to prepare food?” He asked himself in his head, perplexed but still very much on-edge. Getting his hands ready to explode this idiot to kingdom come, he rounded the corner with a yell.

He was met with his girlfriend, standing in one of his over-sized t-shirts, staring with wide eyes and a strawberry in her mouth. Immediately, Katsuki’s face fell with exasperation, the explosions in his hands dying. They stood there awkwardly for a few moments, until she decided to break it with a slurp! as she nearly inhaled the strawberry she just cut up.

“Howdy,” she mumbled after chewing the strawberry, “Wanna milkshake?” 

Katsuki could feel his blood pressure rising.

“Why the fuck are you up at,” he took a glance at the clock on the stove, “2:47 in the goddamned morning?” If he wasn’t so tired, his voice would probably be much louder and he would just pick her up and drag her back to bed.

“I wanted a strawberry milkshake,” she stated in a matter-of-factly manner. She resumed cutting her strawberries and swaying her body to a nonexistent song. “Ya know, a little midnight snack?” She inquired as she finished cutting her fruit and tossing them into the blender. She grabbed one of the berries before it went into the blender and casually threw it in her lovers direction. She didn’t really think that he had the reflexes of a well-tuned wild animal; he plucked the strawberry from the air, eyeballed it for a moment, before deciding to indulge himself and eat it. After swallowing, Katsuki sighed, deciding to let his girlfriend finish her snack, and then plopped himself down on one of the dining room chairs. She threw the knife and cutting board into the sink and grabbed some milk, half-n-half, and ice from the fridge. She completely eyeballed the amount she needed of each as she carelessly added each ingredient.

“Ya know,” she mused, “there are far worse snacks to have at approximately 2:50 in the morning!” She turned back to him to give him a giant smile as she pressed the button that made the blender come to life. He merely scuffed and rolled his eyes, but she didn’t miss the little tugs on his lips. Moments of little domesticity, even if he’d never admit it, always brighten Katsuki’s mood. After a shitty day of hero work, he could always come home to her. Yeah, she might be a dumbass, but she’s his dumbass. As some might say, “Pure of heart, dumb of ass.”

“I love you, but sometimes, not only are you dumb, you’re stupid.” Katsuki bluntly put it. (Y/N) chortled, the sound both amusing yet endearing to Katsuki. He leans his elbow on the table and presses his face against his fist, his eyes never leaving her body. “Also, you totally fucked up my sleep schedule with your loud-ass cutting and shit.” (Y/N) raised her eyebrow at his statement, turning her head after finally deciding her milkshake was finally done.

“How old are you, 35? What’s next, telling me to open an IRA account? Okay, dad.” (Y/N) retorted; she then scooped out her milkshake and poured it into a cute, little cup Katsuki had bought her for her birthday. She stumbled over to sit next to her boyfriend, crossing her legs before sitting them on his lap. He noticed how she had put two metal straws in her milkshake, an indirect offer to her tempting snack. After she had taken a good and long suck of the drink, she smacked her lips with a sigh of enjoyment. She put the glass on the table and slid it towards Katsuki, her eyes asking “Interested?” He took the straw in his mouth and savored the sweet treat, allowing himself to break his strict hero diet for this moment of bliss. (Y/N) found herself admiring the Greek god that was her hot-headed boyfriend, from his blonde hair to his bulging but lean muscles. Of course she loved him for more than his body, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t help that he was very easy on the eyes. 

She found her hand slowly traveling up the arm that was grasping the milkshake, her nails gently scraping his scarred skin. His eyes flashed to her face, searching for motive, and found nothing but unbridled and unrelenting love. The kind of love he would never allow himself to dream of, at least before he met (Y/N). Before, he held any sort of soft or tender emotions deep within himself. He saw them as weaknesses, things that villains or really anyone could exploit and use to take advantage of him. If he was going to be number one, he had to be perfect in every sense of the word. That meant keeping anything that made him human away from public view. Hell, even now with (Y/N) always there by his side to help and hold, he keeps most things in private. 

However, the locked chest that carried his love, his appreciation, his adoration for both her and the other lovely things in this cruel world had now been unlocked by her gentle motions. It did take a while; at the beginning, he wasn’t sure if he was capable of letting himself be that vulnerable to anyone yet. Nonetheless, he found himself without fear around her and he knew that this was home, that she was home. He came back to her eyes, and let himself be soft in that moment.

“You’re looking at me like I’m about to get blasted to the moon.” (Y/N) broke the comfortable silence with a stifled laugh, after which she scooted the milkshake back towards her. He hadn’t noticed, but his eyes must’ve focused and narrowed on his other half, perhaps giving a menacing look he hadn’t intended to give.

“I’m not gonna do that, but that doesn’t mean you're an unadulterated dumbass for waking me up to make a smoothie,” he teased as his finger wrapped around a loose strand of hair. He made a conscious effort to soften his look as their eyes met once again.

“Milkshake, not smoothie.” She finished her drink in one last sip; she felt somewhat guilty that she had most of the milkshake, but hey, she made it! She unwrapped her legs off Katsuki’s lap, then she got up and quickly washed her messy dishes. He watched her with tired eyes, grateful they can finally go back to bed. That tiredness gave him an idea. He quietly stood up from his seat and quickly strided over to (Y/N) and latched onto her waist with his arms. She jumped with a shake as she finished her cleaning, but quickly fell into his embrace. 

However, this peace did not last long.

Using not nearly all of his strength, he yanked her up into the air and effortlessly twisted her until she was in both of his arms, looking like a damsel in distress. Again, (Y/N) was thrown into a fit of shock (which was easily interpreted by Katsuki by her mildly loud screeches) then quickly calmed down as she nearly melted in his embrace. Making sure (Y/N) couldn’t see his expression, as her eyes were closed, he let his tough-man facade fall off his face like water. Slowly, the dreary couple maybe their way back to their bedroom, where they would sleep soundly due to Katsuki’s peace in life and (Y/N)’s full tummy from her delicious milkshake.

Hello again, Santa!

I live in Germany and we’ve lots of delicious Christmas food over here. “Lebkuchen” for example or “Marzipan” in many different shapes and flavors. There’s also a cake called “Stollen” which tastes very good :P.

Your questions about the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever received and given are really tough. I don’t think I’m able to answer them o.O. I’ve gotten a lot of great presents in my life, presents that fit me so well! It’s the best when I can recognize that the gift giver really knows me by the present they give to me. An example that comes to mind (even though it was a bday gift and not a Christmas gift) is the Phantom themed guinea pig made of FIMO a friend gave to me last year XD, because I LOVE all kinds of rodents (especially round/fat ones, lol) and obviously The Phantom of the Opera, as you’ve might have guessed already XD.

I try to do the same when I give presents to people. I try to find something that fits them or supports their obsessions :P . But at the moment I can’t seem to remember a good example.

Geneva:

Pros -

Geneva is very affectionate and loving. She will hold a person through their weakest moments and be there to defend them when they need it most. Not only that, but she is very in tune with the people around her, trying to notice what they do/don’t need.

Cons -

Geneva comes from a very close-knit, but not very healthy family dynamic. Which means, when she loves, she loves hard. And she wants for that person to get along with her family. Which caaaan be difficult because if they don’t, you can see her retreating into herself. Along with that - she’s hot headed and stubborn. Often jumping to conclusions and listening to her fears. It can lead to arguments. And Geneva isn’t one to back down because someone tries to be louder than her.

Jorund:

Pros -

He loves spoiling whoever he is with. When he loves, it’s consuming. You know it. There is no way you could ever doubt it. He will cherish you, buy you gifts, buy you food - anything at any time. And it will be random. You can count on that.

Cons -

Jorund can sometimes feel overbearing. Sometimes too much. He’s a very touchy person, overly affectionate, and can easily get jealous. Because of that, he can be a bit irrational. And it can be a real challenge getting through that thick skull of his because his jealousy stems from his own insecurities and inability to really put his emotions into words. If you want to know what he’s feeling, you have to look at his actions.

Rebecca:

Pros -

Rebecca is an empath. She’s very in tune with emotions that other people are feeling. So she tends to anticipate a good or bad day/moment for her SO. Along with that, Rebecca is a strong communicator. If there is going to be a problem, she’s going to talk about it. Rebecca doesn’t beat around the bush because she knows that a relationship takes work.

Cons -

Rebecca can sometimes overshare. And being an empath, she sometimes acts as if she knows your emotions better than you do. But eventually she reigns that in. Also she sometimes has difficulties differentiating her emotions and realizing what she genuinely feels. So it takes a bit of patience to really be with her.

Jensen:

Pros -

Jensen likes having fun. You will not be bored around him. Even when things are “comfortable”, it isn’t boring. It’s just...a level of trust that wasn’t there before. And that’s the thing, Jensen is loyal. You never have to worry about what he’s doing or where he is. He’s very open to setting and understanding his SO’s boundaries. As long as there’s mutual respect on either side, you will never have a hard time understanding where your relationship is at.

Cons -

Jensen retreats into himself when he gets too emotional. He gets scared of commitment because he doesn’t want to lose the people he cares about. It can make it feel like there isn’t a commitment when there really is. To be with Jensen, you have to be willing to accept that (for a while) there will be a wall that he is obligated to hide behind. Eventually, through help and a feeling of safety, it comes down. But it’s hard to wait that out.

All the theories make me want to write more asdfghjkl I love them 💞 Happy endings are my guilty pleasure, like yeah you can bring me and the characters through a world of pain, but no closure??? No way for them to move on with a lighter heart? It crushes me to the core!! Anddd that’s why I don’t read angst 😅 if I do I’m in the mood to cry.

It’s a huge mess, from start to finish. But Riley sensed this coming in a way, she’s talented at knowing when trouble is over the horizon... but she didn’t pay attention to the warning signals this time. She thought things were looking better only for it all to crash and burn, just as she feared it would.

She didn’t deserve any of this. Despite her own flaws, her doubts, her issues, and the demons of her past, time and time again she chose to reach out for Baekhyun instead. Even in the middle of her crying, she chose him over herself so she could be there for him. So she could understand him. She just wants to love him, and he’s not putting in the same effort - not even half of it! Not even the most important part!

Speaking of Haneul, yes, Baekhyun has become the person he hates. It’s just like bul*ying, you know? The mean guys beat up the little guy, the little guy beats up a smaller guy... The cycle continues over and over when no one is brave enough to admit that, “Hey, someone fucked me up and instead of getting help imma keep it all in and do the same exact thing to cope with my trauma.” Misery loves company, folks

To be honest, at this point I wonder if Riley will let anyone in... New people or the ones she has seen take Baekhyun’s side in this. (And, hey, do you want 40 more characters introduced in the next update? I don’t think I can manage, I’m barely keeping up! hehe) If nothing else, she needs to work on herself before getting involved with anyone else - one night stands has me wondering though... Hmm... Once upon a time (6 months ago) I considered such a thing. I’ll keep it in my thoughts >:)

Baekhyun needs help, if he keeps going on like this he will bend and break until he’s so broken nothing will be able to fix him... Let’s hope this painful breakup has made him realize his mistakes 💔

I love happy endings, and these two dating each other even with all their flaws. They are chaotically beautiful in love, in hate, in everything when they come together. But they are growing up now, the world expects more from them, and they should expect more from themselves. They need to accept their past, present, and move towards a healthy, long-lasting future. For themselves, and everyone around them 💗 Growing pains hurt, but why not make the end result one worth hurting for?
