Personal Arcane Analysis (cuz I'm rewatching arcane and I'm unwell about it)

Vander, Silco and Felicia (and Benzo) started the Last Drop and agreed to all take care of the kids because they all loved each other. Vander took in Vi and Powder/Jinx because he loved Felicia. He didn't want to fight because he didn't want to loose the family he loved so much and Vi wanted to fight for the same reason. Vander gave himself up instead of Vi because he loved her, his other kids, and the people of the lanes.
Jayce chased magic his whole life because of the love he held for people (hear me out on this) he saw how beautiful and helpful magic could be, he chased it and was obsessed with it his entire life because of Viktor saving him. His first thought when he and Viktor founded Hextech was 'I can help people', his love for people, for helping them.
Viktor's entire reason for being in the academy in the first place was love. His parent's love for him led them to help him sneak into the academy. Sure he only joined Jayce out of curiosity but it grew to love, same for Mel; she started her 'investment' in Jayce out of a want for power but it's so clear that she grew to genuinely love him (Mel and Vik parallels my love).

i literally can't deal with thinking too long about how the OA got cancelled. prairie prairie that's not my name that's not my name. transgenderism, disableism. dancing the movements to revive Scott.And failing to revive Jesse. The beauty, and its limitations. Just, the idea of this dance that can fucking heal, change, solidify love. and maybe steve would get to punch hap in the face. maybe. the best ever of multiverse narratives. Fun Story to Share.
I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.
Well - she got this email this morning:
The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.
Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).
Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.
