Howdy Vex! Just dropping by to say hello and give the bitties some sweets.

Hope you’re doing good!

*Food is always a welcome gift at the shop, and no lamia can resist sweets, not even Kings and Papythons who prefer healthier foods. Soon you're surrounded by a crowd of lamias eager for sweet treats.

*Edgar watches from the nursery before turning back to the task at hand. He's tucking the hatchlings into their nests for an afternoon nap. While Edgar regrets being too busy to satisfy his sweet tooth, he is also glad that the hatchlings didn't notice sweets being handed out. The last thing tired hatchlings need is sugar.

*Edgar leans forward to tuck in the last hatchling only to discover that the nursery nests are empty! He dashes to the nursery entrance to herd the naughty little lamias back to bed, but instead he sees tiny hatchling tails disappearing through the doorway, led by none other than Baby Butter, who is old enough and big enough to open the door himself. Unfortunately, he has chosen to use this power for mischief.

*Standing in the doorway between the nursery and the main shop, Edgar watches his hatchlings shovel down sweets. If he can't stop them, he might as well join them, right? After all, he's going to need the extra energy to corral the sugar-rushing hatchlings back into the nursery!

The line at the cafe was surprisingly long, and after the time spent buying supplies with Yvette, Edgar needed to sit down. He told her what he would like, knowing he didn't need to remind her to grab a straw, and found a free table to take some of the pressure off his back. It's funny, how much you use the muscles in your back for so many day-to-day tasks without even realizing it. Seeing Kennedy zipping around, Edgar offered a small smile and a bandaged wave, hoping the other man saw him. They hadn't seen one another since before the festival, but it was good to see his friend was doing well all things considered.

There was little that Beatrice set her mind to that she wasn't able to accomplish. Even when she felt over her head...once she tied her hair back and organized things by the minute, she could see a clear path ahead. One of the first things she did after moving to Fenrir was look into local plants in the area. There had been a line or two in some dusty old book, maybe the suggestion of a something rare hidden in the woods from a magazine published in the past five years. Even a professor mentioned an uncommon flower once or twice. She was determined to find if there was actually anything of note actually in the woods. Equipped with only the essentials, she entered the woods - was the plant calling out to her? Something in her gut nudged her in a specific direction. Beatrice wondered if the rare bloom released a pheromone for local pollinators since it blossomed so rarely. When she came across it, at first glance, she thought it glowed under the moonlight. ( Or was it just the light from her torch? ). The blossom seemed so delicate, all Beatrice wanted to do was reach out and touch -- She blinked, and the world around her became a blur. Her stomach sloshed, like she'd just drank a glass of sea water. Hadn't she just been in the woods? Could the flower's scent be this strong? Her feet seemed to guide her down the side of the road. The bookstore, under the lamplights, past the library...Had she seen the cafe? Where exactly was she going? Bea didn't know how long it had been until she finally came to. It didn't happen all at once, but each step brought back another whisp of clarity. Beatrice takes her first deep breath. She didn't know what, but something about the whole night felt off. Wrong. "Wh...where am I?" She asks. "What...what time is it?" Never the type to ask anyone for assistance, her voice quiets when she finally pleads, "Can you help me?"

Baby Driver (2017)

Baby Driver is an action/thriller movie directed by Edgar Wright about a young and quiet get away driver called Baby, played Ansel Elgort. The interesting thing about this movie though is how it uses music.

Most scenes in the movie are set to some kind of music, Baby almost always has earbuds in because he has tinnitus. Any scene with music also usually has the action or context of the scene matching the music, for example there's one scene where Baby's employer is placing cash on the table on beat to the song playing.

This movie also of course has a lot of interesting editing like Edgar Wright's other movies, by the way if you like Edgar Wright (especially Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) you should go check out Uricksaladbar on youtube I really like his stuff, and he went over his opinions on all Edgar Wright's movies in a recent video.

The core conflict in Baby Driver is mostly Baby struggling to try and keep his love interest and adopted father safe while doing dangerous jobs. I would recommend, I liked Baby a lot but I feel like the girl he likes, Debora could have used some more reason to come with Baby during the last third, I just wasn't that invested in the romance.

The music is the number one most important part of goth subculture and you don't have to dress goth to be goth... but it sure is fun to do so! Goth fashion holds its roots in thrifting, upcycling and sustainable fashion (buying 'goth' clothes from shein, dollskill and killstar is a big no no).

Anyone can style their gothic outfits however they like but here are some examples of different styles:
