@backmaskcd -- for your choice!
Daishiro had had a snow cone before, but it had been a long time ago, and he did not really remember whether he had liked it or not, so he was willing to have another go at trying one. He just could not decide which one to try. Glancing at the person beside him, he asked, "Do you have any recommendations? I haven't had a snow cone in such a long time I think I've forgotten what it was like, so I'll willing to try any one you think is good."

"Like the weird creatures roaming around at night, not being able to leave, apparent figure in the sky, random earthquakes and what my brother calls 'spicy water'?" Alex rattled off before laughing a little to herself. It sounded ridiculous to say but her life had been ridiculous for a while now anyway.

The line at the cafe was surprisingly long, and after the time spent buying supplies with Yvette, Edgar needed to sit down. He told her what he would like, knowing he didn't need to remind her to grab a straw, and found a free table to take some of the pressure off his back. It's funny, how much you use the muscles in your back for so many day-to-day tasks without even realizing it. Seeing Kennedy zipping around, Edgar offered a small smile and a bandaged wave, hoping the other man saw him. They hadn't seen one another since before the festival, but it was good to see his friend was doing well all things considered.

"Hi Rini" Paola greeted the other as she approached her. "So the kid is with his best friend in the dance hall and I was thinking of going to check it out, wanna join in?" she smiled nodding her way towards Minnie's dancehall.

Deen was more the shopper between the two of them, so Esther had Joei on their shoulders and was waiting in a food line to get them all a snack. Gave their partner a chance to browse without having to worry about the baby girl running off. Spotting someone familiar they waved. "Hey, any idea what they have up there?"

Leaning against the outside facade of the Ranger HQ, James stared numbly at the tree line, barely registering the cold, nor the way his skin burned from the cigarette ash collecting onto his hand. It was only as someone walked toward the building did his eyes flicker with recognition. As Tricky came within hearing distance James mumbled "guess you were right. Hope yer happy."

Andy beam hearing Asuka say yes, "Yay, let's go then" she nodded enthusiastically and hooked her hand through Asuka's going towards the Video store for them two to go pick a movie together, "No reason, just have a bit more time on my hands these days, besides candle making and conserving the veg from the garden." she laughed.

where: founders museum who: chandler + pascal
"Okay okay let's try and have the most normal time ever. Surely they won't have any of--" Pascal shook his head and shuffled his hand confusingly, "-whatever this town turned into, in this place. Just chill history vibes, what do we think?" he asked as the two of them stepped into the museum for the first time.

Watching as others skated, Heather turned as she felt Sebby's tail wag against her leg. She smiled brightly at seeing Draven making his way toward them. 'Hey you. I'm glad to see you out and about. Here with Salem I'm guessing. Never pegged you for a winter fan.'

Sitting down at the bar, Santiago grinned at the woman next to him. "You must not come here often. I'd remember a face as beautiful as yours muñeca."

Main Street // Icarus Desjardins // @backmaskcd
"Icarus!" The tall boy was unmissable, and Sycamore found her pace quickening once she had seen him, catching up with the mans long strides. As she always did, she slotted her arm between both his arm and body, adjusting her pace to match his. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever! You look well my darling, is everything well?"

"Ridley!" Jane jogged to catch up with them. "Hey, are you busy?" She asked not wanting to take them away from something if they were in the middle of something. "I heard you've been talking to Raziel about things." She gave them a hopeful smile. "You know Lilith talks about you and Sawyer all the time. I know she'd be so happy that you're as invested in the truth and getting our freedom back as she is." @backmaskcd

Spotting Kennedy sitting by himself at one of the tables toward the back, Edgar beelined toward his friend, putting his hands on his hips as he frowned. "You know, if you look any more miserable you might actually scare the children. What's wrong?" The frown dropped as he eased into the chair next to Kennedy, letting out a long sigh at how great it felt to sit down after running around playing host for so long.

"Yeah, I know what you mean. But with all the things that's been happening lately, I can't help but think that this whole town is trying to put a plaster on an open wound, things just keep on piling on top of each other." Paola sighed and gave a nervous laugh before shaking her head. "Non importa, that was my negative though reserve used up for this week" she laughed, "Shall we go see to that pipe?" she nodded. "How are you doing anyway?" Paola asked frowning sympathetically towards Rini as they made their way to the kitchen.

“Party bus? Damn, haven’t been on one of those for years,” he chuckled. If things had been different maybe he’d have been one of those teens that partied a lot. Or maybe he’d have been some kind of academic. Born for better, ended up bitter. Waylon watched Cosima’s reaction, noting the clear disgust that flushed her face. Good. That was how he needed people to feel. “I like to think nothing scares me much anymore luv, feel numb to it. Positive side to it, if anythin’ happens at least I won’t see it happen,” he smirked, attempting to offer some reprieve to the depressing topics he continually brought up, graciously taking the flask with a thankful nod. He raised it back towards her. “To avoiding monsters, and the lake.”
"Yeah; we were on a party bus when we crashed here," Cosima confirmed. "So there were like seven of us, which meant there was enough alcohol for most of us. Not the driver, but, you know." She shuddered a little at the story, feeling her stomach churn at the thought of it. "I guess... yeah by comparison that doesn't seem so bad." She pulled a second flask out of her bag before handing it to him. "The price for your story. I think there's whiskey in that. It was dark liquor."
