You know that feeling of complete desperation when you read a fic just in one sitting and that fic has been updated with a precise rhythm and you're like omg great just one day for the update but the day passes and there's no update and another one and then another one and still no update and you start wondering omg it was because of me? I somehow broke their clock worthy work. Did something happen to them? Why haven't they answered any question? Will this feeling of abandonment ever disappear?

I just don't trust this show anymore, don't get me wrong, wwdits is my favorite show, I love it with all my heart, but after experiencing last year's not exactly queerbating but invalidation (those articles and interviews saying that we were reading too much into the relationship, that why won't we just let men be friends...) It wasn't queerbating, it wasn't.

But what it was, was making fun of queer fans in a very reminicent way, and I've been through this before, so many times, I've been a gay person in fandom for over 15 years, I've been hurt before, made fun of, and I just don't trust, I can't trust them.

I guess that even after all the positivity and representation we've had lately I still have to protect my heart. After being burnt so many times putting on my clown makeup gets harder and harder.

But I really hope they'll prove me wrong
