I've been doing a lot of reflection as of late, especially after this past class.
This past class was about the Torah and Tanakh in general, and the way the rabbi talked about the commandments (specifically the ten commandments) has made me really reflect on how I interpret them, specifically the fifth commandment, or honoring your mother and father.
This is a commandment I have wrestled with for a long time - in fact, it brought me away from g-d at multiple times. I was severely abused when I was incredibly young by my mother, and I used to feel insulted at the implication that I were to honor her while she got to live a better life. It was hypocritical, in my eyes.
But this rabbi surmised that this particular commandment was because parenthood is an act of creation, something that is like the g-d from which we come from. My realization is this: I don't think we're necessarily meant to take even these commandments literally.
I this particular commandment is more of a call to honor creation - creation is a gift, and like any gift, many people simply will not like it and will discard it. The person who abused me created me, but she did not honor creation. She didn't honor me, but I can still honor it.
I have started to honor creation much more. I'm too young, too unstable, not mature enough to be a father (though I fantasize about it), but I create all the time. I create relationships, I create with my hands through crochet. I create memories, I create my world. And I can honor who I am and where I came from that made me who I am. I've been learning one of the mother tongues of my family (Italian, since part of my family originates there) and it was judaism that inspired me to do this.
I don't think g-d wants me to honor my abuser. I think He wants me to remember the Holy action of creation. When I am a father, that act of creation will be Holy, and indeed, I am already joyful about the thought.
I have seen many people struggle with this particular commandment, but I think this perspective helps me personally. I don't think I ever have to forgive my abusers (plural), and I don't think I am commanded to simply because they happened to be family. I am commanded to recognize the holy, to elevate the mundane. In doing so, I will remember g-d. Through creation, I honor g-d and everything he has done for us, for me, and for our collective people.
#jumblr#jew by choice#jewish conversion#personal thoughts tag#abuse tw#i am not sharing this for the sake of pity and i also ask not to be told to divulge my abuse story. that isn't relevant#i have been needing to engage with this topic for a long time though and judaism has helped me a bit in navigating healing#but i decided to share this publicly in the hopes it will help other survivors specifically of familial/parental abuse#i know how it feels (in general). it's so lonely and you can really harbor (understandable) baggage about this particular commandment#i have a meeting with My Rabbi (sponsoring rabbi) and i might bring this up. we've only spoken once face-to-face (zoom)#so that might be really Intense to bring up to him but he is very kind and i trust him (which is why he is My Rabbi)#and he has already told me that he WANTS me to wrestle with g-d and His word *with* him#again i am posting this publicly so i can document my thoughts and keep them straight but also with the hope it MIGHT help others#if it even *casually* inspires another survivor i will feel so grateful (though it is THEIR achievement and not mine to claim)#i want us to survive. i want us to eat well. i want us to smile#i will say that this must be a very sudden whiplash in tone from my last post about sex. from sex to awful horrific abuse#my stream of consciousness is just Like This though in the sense that i have very sudden realizations and tonal whiplashes#so you're just getting a very frank look into how my brain is structured and what my brain thinks are important enough to think about#if i seem much more verbose it's because i needed to write this on my laptop which makes typing and more importantly yapping even *easier*

JACK THE GIANT KILLER
originally this was a kind of personal visual vibe test: I'm still turning some thoughts around about jack in my head (altho I have finished assembling the skeleton of a story and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when I start to press at it) but I really liked how it turned out so I'm posting it as it's own illustration :)
the first post about this idea is over here, but I've fine tuned it down a bit so that the story begins with jack finding the body of a giant while he's out in the woods one day, and the story spirals out of hand before he can stop it.
it's been interesting to read up on jack tales from a literary analysis point of view while I figure this story out!! and through the power of more coffee, I think. I'm close to pinning down an underlying theme I'd really like to bite into. I just need to condense it down to a couple of sentences instead of several paragraphs.
and to close this post out, here's another excerpt from the j.g. ballard's the drowned giant that haunts me!
#i had a whole thing about why i dont link to my ko-fi on art posts but a friend said i should at least do it on original art#also cara seems to be promising as an art porfolio site? if you're looking to jump off of dA because it sucks ass. cara looks good so far!#OKAY moving on from that. in my head there is also a weird fucked up story about the drowned giant I would love#to turn into a short comic. maybe early next year? I think I need to go to a beach and do some studies because in my mind#it has a very specific visual and tone. hmmmmmm.#I had a very vivid dream abt it and I want to attempt to capture it down onto paper#and moving on from THAT. to the man himself. jack. ohhhhhh can you imagine if someone would’ve done a fucked up grim dark#Jack novel in 2013 or something. I would’ve eaten that like a cake. this isn’t an intentionally grim dark retelling although it is. grim.#original tag#generic medieval tag

crazy how ive been seeing people absolutely losing their minds over the way amy is written in the generations remaster and how she was character assassinated and her crush on sonic was removed and im playing it right now and the literal first thing she does when you free her from white space is call sonic cute which is nowhere close to what she said in the original. wtf are you people on about
#and after that she was like ''omg you got me a ring ? wait thats not the kind of ring i was hoping for..'' or something along those lines#which i cant remember if that was in the original or not but either way . what do you MEAN they got rid of her crush .....#i havent played much though so maybe her crush really was toned down in certain areas but even if it was ..........................#1. why would that be character assassination why do you want her feelings for a boy to be her primary character trait so bad#2. like i said in the post theyve literally added a reference to her crush where there wasnt one originally#i dont think theyre trying to erase it. i think you guys are just getting mad over nothing .#sonic x shadow generations#sxsg spoilers#and like i agree to an extent that a lot of the rewrites feel unnecessary#and im not particularly a fan of the idea of them altering the story content of an existing game#but the stuff with amy feels like a massive overreaction#is it just so/namy shippers who think sonic and amy have to be together or the world will end who are talking like that.#because i wouldnt be surprised if this was the case

Hi GT,
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I absolutely love the recs you've given (you've introduced me to tomione, and I love it!) and I was wondering if it's possible to give you some recs in return? There are some books and fics that definitely have dramione / got vibes, and I was wondering if I could share them with you!
So glad you've enjoyed them! Feel free to rec me anything you want. I've read most of the classic recs in terms of fic and adjacent content (Cruel Prince et al), but I'll try anything that's well-written. My tastes run towards weird and/or audaciously creative stuff, and I can forgive a lot of weaknesses in plot on the grounds of (1) ambition or (2) character work. My turnoffs are instalove, protagonists who can't fail, and most Y/A (I'm not a hater, I swear, I just need characters who can say "fuck" when their leg gets chopped off.)
I'm also a fan of weird and fucked-up dynamics.(Wuthering Heights was my favorite book for a while, and as a teenager I wrote an AU in which the book ends on a long sex scene where Heathcliff fucks Cathy's ghost and then immediately gets murdered by Catherine 2.) Obviously, I am very normal.
#greenteacup asks#my beef with Y/A is mostly expressed in a dissonance between tone and content#LOVE the content. dystopia fantasy horror sex and blood — awesome. but question. why are they all saying 'darn'?#like in the vampire diaries where they'll watch people get eaten and then 2 episodes later be like 'omg SCHOOL DANCE'#(EDIT: actually in fairness. on the vampire diaries. it was mostly just caroline that did that. unfair example my apologies)#& i distinguish this critique from a common bitch-and-moan complaint about tv shows being interested in 'girly' things#like relationships and social standing. that is not my complaint. that shit is delicious. i will chomp that shit for days#my issue is that when the stakes oscillate wildly from episode to episode and i can't tell what the main thing is#like sorry. a story with murder in it is always going to be about murder. you can't make it not about murder#unfortunately! many have tried.#and in general i have difficulty reading about teenagers bc—#(she says having written 600k words about them OKAY I KNOW. i contain multitudes.)#because they're either mini-adults (preferred flavor. jude in the cruel prince nails this) or like leetol babies to me#and unless it's something like the hunger games where the Leetol Baby thing is part of the story#i'm like. hang on. you're 12 what are you doing here#percy jackson was hard for me to re-read as an adult for this reason#which is why they're enjoyable for teenagers! because as a teenager you DO feel like an adult#and you like reading books that treat you like one! nothing wrong with that! healthy even!#only then you get past the teenage years (mashallah) and you get stuff like twilight#where of COURSE bella doesn't think twice about 117 year old man falling in love with her#because he looks like a rich mysterious 17-year-old hottie#but you reread it later and it's like um well. that. could be explored a little more maybe.#i'm not even necessarily opposed to it. candidly. still team edward. i just think the dynamic should be more fucked up and juicy.#which Y/A authors are often reluctant to do. like. COWARDS! face the nasty consequences of your narrative decisions!#anyhow. you didn't ask for any of this. please give me your recs lovely person you seem very nice.

I've been listening to all the audio record for the r6s operators in arknights and I had a few thoughts
I think I've realised in all my hours playing frost I never really listened to her voice. Its actually really nice.
I always was like 'haha kapkan frost friends cause they both trap operators' but her voice lines actually really back that theory up
Frost calls the Doctor sir which is big sad as a female play BUT it's also really funny if I think about it that she just asumes my Doctor is male and shes too embarrassed to correct Frost
Intrestingly enough they translated all of Tachankas Russian lines to English in the subtitles but they didn't with Fuze (малыш was translated) (same goes for the rest of operators I'm just using them as an example)
I did very much short circut when Tachanka said малыш ngl. covered my face and everything. Vlado Stokanic did a fantastic job
Ash's voice sounds kinda different than in the game. Perhaps its the sound mixing or maybe its just the voice actor but she sounds older. At first whenever I borrowed Ash I wasn't a fan but its really grown on me.
I straight up just don't understand what this Ash voice line means
Especially after reading through her event, I think Ash has grown a lot as a character in Terra.
I think all the second crossover voice acting sounds exactly the same as the game (r6s), it could be just because of the voice actors age or perhaps the mixing, it could also be because their tone of voice is pretty much the same as when they say the same lines in r6s. Eg Ela's depart line sounds exactly (it is rerecorded tho) how it does in the game. "No time to waste". The second crossover operators shout some of their lines where the first crossover operators say all of them
I love Blitz I do but his voice lines have made me realise if I was paired with him in combat I would slap the shit out of him. Hes such a nerd, I understand why Ash is so done with him
This Iana line gets so me so hard because its like, is she talking about the fact shes human in Terra or is this a reference to her albinism and her compromised retina? My poor baby I love her
That all being said I still think they all did a fantastic job and for a still anime picture I think they have made the characters feel so alive, even with just a still anime picture. Then again the r6s cross over kinda exspanded the charactisation of most of these operators more than ubisoft has in the last uh 5 odd years.
#I only have the rerun ops at low trust so theres a few lines im missing#Im excited to get their trust up and look at the operator records too#the second cross over ones were REALLY GOOD but then again I do think the second cross over event overall was just plain better#but then again thats also because there was just more story cause storys in general are way longer#I think it also had a different tone so its a bit harder to comapare#like Ash's squad had such a rough time where as Ela's squad had support far earlier#arknights#r6s#rainbow six siege

Seeing fan discussions about Blue Eye Samurai and especially Mizu's identity is so annoying sometimes. So let me just talk about it real quick.
First off, I have to emphasise that different interpretations of the text are always important when discussing fiction. That's how the whole branch of literary studies came to be, and what literary criticism and analysis is all about: people would each have their own interpretation of what the text is saying, each person applying a different lens or theory through which to approach the text (ie. queer theory, feminist theory, reader response theory, postcolonial theory, etc) when analysing it. And while yes, you can just take everything the authors say as gospel, strictly doing so would leave little room for further analysis and subjective interpretation, and both of these are absolutely necessary when having any meaningful discussion about a piece of media.
With that being said, when discussing Blue Eye Samurai, and Mizu's character in particular, I always see people only ever interpret her through a queer lens. Because when discussing themes of identity, yes, a queer reading can definitely apply, and in Mizu's story, queer themes are definitely present. Mizu has to hide her body and do her best to pass in a cisheteronormative society; she presents as a man 99% of the time and is shown to be more comfortable in men's spaces (sword-fighting) than in female spaces (homemaking). Thus, there's nothing wrong with a queer reading at all. Hell, some queer theorists interpret Jo March from Little Women as transmasc and that's totally valid, because like all analyses, they are subjective and argumentative; you have the choice to agree with an interpretation or you can oppose it and form your own.
To that end, I know many are equally adamant that Mizu is strictly a woman, and that's also also a completely valid reading of the text, and aligns with the canon "Word of God", as the creators' intention was to make her a woman. And certainly, feminist themes in the show are undeniably present and greatly colour the narrative, and Episode 4 & 5 are the clearest demonstrations of this: Mizu's protectiveness of Madame Kaji and her girls, Mizu's trauma after killing Kinuyo, her line to Akemi about how little options women have in life, and the way her husband had scorned her for being more capable than him in battle.
I myself personally fall into the camp of Mizu leaning towards womanhood, so i tend to prefer to use she/her pronouns for her, though I don't think she's strictly a cis woman, so I do still interpret her under the non-binary umbrella. But that's besides my point.
My gripe here, and the thing that spurred me to write this post, is that rarely does this fandom even touch upon the more predominant themes of colonialism and postcolonial identities within the story. So it definitely irks me when people say that the show presenting Mizu being cishet is "boring." While it's completely fine to have your opinion and to want queer rep, a statement like that just feels dismissive of the rest of the representation that the show has to offer. And it's frustrating because I know why this is a prevalent sentiment; because fandom culture is usually very white, so of course a majority of the fandom places greater value on a queer narrative (that aligns only with Western ideas of queerness) over a postcolonial, non-Western narrative.
And that relates to how, I feel, people tend to forget, or perhaps just downplay, that the crux of Mizu's internal conflict and her struggle to survive is due to her being mixed-race.
Because while she can blend in rather seamlessly into male society by binding and dressing in men's clothing and lowering her voice and being the best goddamn swordsman there is, she cannot hide her blue eyes. Even with her glasses, you can still see the colour of her eyes from her side profile, and her glasses are constantly thrown off her face in battle. Her blue eyes are the central point to her marginalisation and Otherness within a hegemonic society. It's why everyone calls her ugly or a monster or a demon or deformed; just because she looks different. She is both white and Japanese but accepted in neither societies. Her deepest hatred of herself stems primarily from this hybridised and alienated identity. It's the whole reason why she's so intent on revenge and started learning the way of the sword in the first place; not to fit in better as a man, but to kill the white men who made her this way. These things are intrinsic to her character and to her arc.
Thus, to refuse to engage with these themes and dismiss the importance of how the representation of her racial Otherness speaks to themes of colonialism and racial oppression just feels tone-deaf to the show's message. Because even if Mizu is a cishet woman in canon, that doesn't make her story any less important, because while you as a white queer person living in the West may feel unrepresented, it is still giving a voice to the stories of people of colour, mixed-race folks, and the myriad of marginalised racial/ethnic/cultural groups in non-Western societies.
#blue eye samurai#mizu blue eye samurai#fandom critical#blue eye samurai meta#wank.mp3#shut up haydar#fandom.rtf#this is a bit of rant but the prevalent whiteness of fandom in general just gets on my nerves i'm sorry#giving me flashbacks to a:tla fandom fr cuz it's the same shit! people love to devalue the stories of non-white non-western identities#also to be clear i am a southeast asian living in southeast asia and similar to mizu i am often alienated for having mixed ethnic ancestry#and even for speaking english (bcs my granddad served the fuckin. british colonials. so my fam speaks mostly in english)#cuz where im from it's still extremely hegemonic racist patriarchal misogynistic homophobic like the setting in the show#so like even though the story is set in historical japan and may seem far-removed from the experiences of a US or european audience#those of us outside the west and in the global south still face a lot of the struggles that mizu goes through till this very day#so please dont just dismiss that. it feels incredibly tone-deaf#okay rant over

I’m watching one piece, and now I’m wondering do you have any hcs on the world building in the fairy tail universe ? Do you think theirs some crazy kingdom’s , advanced technology in some lands ? Love to hear your thoughts 💗
hmmmmmmmmmmm kinda a bit of a deep question tbh.
Structurally FT has good bones for its world. And that's kinda it lol
There's a fleshed out map of all the countries within the continent that fiore is found on (Ishgar, which has 16 named countries apart from fiore itself) and expanding wider than that we know that there are about 3 named continents (Ishgar to the east being a peninsula connected to the mainland that we know nothing of, Alakitasia to the west where Alavarez is and Guiltina to the north) and a fourth unnamed continent further east that exists within earthland.
But while we have all this info, nothing in particular comes into play as the series had progressed, the majority of the series' arcs all more or less take place within the same country, which for a series that has it's characters constantly travelling for missions looks particularly bad, especially when even the known locations all visually seem indistinct from each other in terms of stuff like architecture. It's a reason why I appreciate edolas in particular because it at least offered something that visually stood out and an insight into how that culture functioned. (and in Phoenix Priestess for the small montage the squad in the city of Rose Garden and showing a bit of the country Veronica)
Like it is frustrating to me whenever I think on it because the solution would be just to change the locations of where they travel to just to expand the background of the places travelled, wouldn't even have to change arc structures or anything to give some life to the named countries like:
Joya despite its small size as a country is the main manufacturers of trains and exports the majority of the transportation other countries use as well as weapons. Wizards are less found here, with treasure hunting being a more popular job choice.
Sin, despite the ironic name, is a deeply religious and faith driven country. Magics that have connection to nature and celestial bodies are particularly revered here.
Desierto mostly deals with trade, having constantly active shipping ports. Enchanted items such as brooms and carpets are popular and easy transport choices within cities and are more widely used than vehicles.
Iceberg's largely uninhabited due to the weather with most of the population sticking closer to the country's borders.
Like this is all just purely flavour text examples to just try and bring some life to these otherwise lifeless locations but you get the general gist of it.
There was clearly this effort to establish these locations by giving then names (and drawing a full on map) so it always boggled me that they were never properly used as a backdrop for the arcs within the story. (Tower of Heaven? Move that arc to Sin, Lucy's arc with Loke? Takes place in Stella, That arc with the giant village? Put it in Minstrel).
Like shifting around major arc locations would easily open up avenues to naturally expand the world as the story moves. And not even just big arcs, but smaller less grand filler arcs (which jesus christ did ft rlly need because it defs need breathing room between all the big events. It's why the story moves at such a breakneck speed without things really feeling as though they've changed in any meaningful ways) would do wonders to make earthland feel like a genuine lived in world (like how it is within the world of one piece that you cited as an inspo for this ask.)
#fairy tail#fairy tail headcanon#i know this ask probably was sent more in the vein of asking for headcanons about the different places#but i am firmly of the belief that if im going to fully rewrite and worldbuild for an existing series#i may as well just create my own thing yknow?#not to knock anyone else who does that ofc but full rewrites and complete changes to an established property arent really for me#bcus all that effort i think could be put into making my own series if i so choose#with regards to your citing of one piece#whilst similar in general tone one piece is purely built on establishing each location#taking time to learn the culture ppl and the political climate of each area#because it in turn feeds into the overarching theme of corruption within that story#so while in one piece it's necessary to know about each land for something lower scale like ft such heavy information#wouldnt be a necessity bcus it wouldnt help to further the base theme of found family and friendship#instead having it expounded on in small drops as the characters go about their jobs (or just general lives) would benefit the story as it i#while also being more than the bare minimum given to us by canon that we have#one piece is a great story with how its world is shaped but that scale is grand and isnt something that should be applied to every story#unless u got time like oda lol

my problem is that i've driven myself in a corner by arguing "isagi's nel arc stories are unsatisfying on purpose (and they're secretly brilliant)" and man. you never want to be in a position to argue that any story is bad on purpose, i mean i'll keep doing it for blue lock specifically (and keep posting about how this should be done for blue lock specifically) but no one else should do it
#no you see it's trying to write a corruption arc for an mc who doesn't know they were corrupted from the perspective of that mc#while fooling the average reader through its unchanging tone and misleading presentation not to notice the mc's corruption#but also the corruption was made possible because of basic traits the mc already held so it also doubles as commentary on his character#and the concept of the 'shonen protagonist' in general#and if his story is momentarily dissatisfying it's only because readers are picking up on the cracks that this manga exposed without#pointing it out explicitly. supremely ambitious writing okay the flaws are by design it's secretly 5head i promise#everything will be revealed explicitly in like four volumes it'll be awesome just trust m— [hit by a dolphin]#kaiserposting

Atla live action 😐
#thats my honest reaction 😐#to be fair ive only seen 20 minutes of the s1 finale bc my parents are watching it but. mmmmm kinda mid#like. the casting is definitely an improvement since the last time they tried a live action but it feels like the writing falls flat#or maybe im being harsh bc ive only heard negative criticism on it beforehand. but fr anytime u bring up the original its already#good and not just because its the original. so much fucking detail went into it to the point of someone noticing azula wielding mai's knive#to how well thought out irohs character is used as a way of uniting the cast especially as zukos foil#i heard that sokkas sexism was toned down and i have to agree that feels like a cheap move. like i get WHY they think it would be better#but its not about how that reflects on real world its about how it affects the story. sokka starts out as a misogynistic asshole because#it makes it that much more impactful when he changes. toning that down makes it flatter and makes his character development weak#and someone pointed out they didnt even make him wear the kyoshi warrior uniform and i know it feels like such a small detail but#come on man. they did that in the original because not only does it help him really walk in their shoes - wearing 'feminine' clothing and#makeup and having suki explain its significance but it also ties in with the shows theme of harmony and intersectionality#i was also disappointed when they had the fire sages explain how the water tribe draws power from the moon because in the original it was#IROH who explained it to aang and everyone else BECAUSE we as the audience is under the impression hes with the 'bad guys'#and it builds up to how he learned from the other nations which reconciles his past as a war general and his character overall#AND its an excellent starting point for the cast and audience to understand how the nations arent as closed off as you would think#plus you would think its only fire nation doing propaganda but they expanded on that with earth kingdom censorship and it WORKS#a lot of things in the live action also feel arbitrary like. they gave momo a near death experience for 5 minutes for no reason#im firmly on the stance of bringing back filler moments instead of putting major events right after each other so that u give your#audience a sense of time passing and to really absorb the story. but i think thats more like shock value than filler and yeah its a small#thing to gripe about but those things build up and its really annoying. the thing abt avatar filler moments is that however small#its at least meaningful. hell even the beach episode emphasizes how isolated zuko and his friends are as child soldiers#i also swore to never watch the first live action since it was that bad but i really liked the stylized tattoos they used for aang#anyway. those arejust my thoughts. im not gonna watch the rest because im a ride or die for the original aftr growing up and#rewatching it at least 20 times as a kid. but theres definitely room for improvement and i wish ppl wouldnt take it as 'better' just cuz#netflix is adapting it. i wouldve killed for them to just reanimate the entire avatar series and touch NOTHING ELSE no redub#no changes to the story. just reanimate the thing and leave the rest alone and youd make easy money just the same#ALSO its very jarring not hearing jack desena and dante basco voicing sokka and zuko cause their voices were the most recognizable to me#i get that its because its live action but im allowed to feel a little sad abt that. and uncle irohs accent was really soothing#yapping

society if the dungeon meshi anime actually had texture and kept ryoko kui's personality in the artstyle instead of doing generic thin-lined flat colors flat shading streamlined anime face style. i know ppl have mixed opinions on some of these examples but i reallyyyy wished they went stronger on the mangas artstyle like say haikyuu season 4 and demonslayer did.
like i think heavier shading and use of lineweight and black shading would already do a lot for the texture... more frequent use of that nose shading ryuko kui uses a lot, like here? ALSO BRO THEY GOT RID OF LAIOS' UNDERCUT like okay tbf in some of the colored manga references he doesnt have that but also how else do you interpret his hair in this panel
anyways in general just throwing in some more hatching like using it more common as an art style for texture instead of just roughed up clothes/appearance would do some wonders. also softening the palettes i feel like theyve made things too dark and idk how to explain it its like they filmed the manga through a samsung camera
disclaimer i know most of these changes would cost more money and time and effort to do. the solution to most of this would probably just be to give them a bigger budget
#tbh though i didnt even care that much for the very painterly styled intro either though. its a better display of animation talent but#i feel like the tone and artstyle are very generic for the genre#and misunderstand the like... vibe that dungeon meshi is supposed to have#everything about the animes execution feels too generic tbh. like the ppl directing it themselves dont actually know#what the stories about and its themes and where things are gonna go theyre just#directly translating what they see in the present chapter straight to animated form while cutting as many corners to#fit into the episode window as they can. and to fit in the overly long cooking segment#but i feel like if they actually knew the manga they were recreating well they would know stuff like#marcille fighting namari and shuro on staying to save falin is very important characterization to be cutting out#idk. i now understand how why manga readers act the way they do about almost every anime adaptation ever

i love fantasy high and i’m so invested in every choice they’re making but also. i have never been so anxious over a story in my entire life.
#i really didn’t expect it to hit so hard#but they made it back home and everything was different and people were leaving and i just.#i’m at a point in my own life where everything is changing so to have a (generally) lighthearted show shift tone completely to match that#well. i am. doing great (in the same way the bad kids are doing great. which is to say. not at all)#i’m enjoying the story! it’s my first time watching a fh season as it drops! this is only my second full d20 season!#however i am also full of anxiety and stress#i am. in fact. going into a worry.#losing all of the comfort npcs is good narratively but bad for me personally#fhjy#fantasy high#d20#dimension 20
