Vanity Franklin! Well, just Vanity actually, because her last name is so basic and boring, unlike her. Obviously. She has a rare medical condition that makes her eyes purple (What do you mean contacts? That's like, so rude, it's a real thing. Look it up. /Sarc) and slick black hair that's TOTALLY natural. No, her roots aren't 'showing', and it's actually totally weird and obsessive of you to say that.

She's a proud goth, and she's like WAY into the culture. Once, she even saw Panic! At The Disco live, so. Yeah.

When she gets to SSB, she expects to slide by, miserable but undetected. (I mean seriously, making her take out her spiky jewlery should totally be considered a human rights violation or something.) Then of course, she gets shoved in a group of losers.

There's Bae, who thinks he's so much better than her, as if looking ANCEINT at his age is an accomplishment. I mean seriously, he could pass for like, 24. If she actually needed that wheelchair, (which she does NOT because that's like SO embarrassing, she's not 60) she would roll right over his stupid 700$ shoes.

There's Jeremy and Pran, who are definitely still annoying, but Jeremy thankfully avoids her, and she heard someone say Pran is like an environmentalist or whatever, so she guesses that's cool.

There's Nate, who she decides very quickly she likes to annoy, just to see him get all mad. She makes him cry once though, which just makes her uncomfortable. Don't people know to keep that to themselves?

There's Everett, who's a TOTAL POSER. Honestly, he probably doesn't even know who Gerard Way is. He's totally just like a trend hopper. Ugh.

There's Shiloh. Who she DOESN'T 'like', thank you very much, what is this- Preschool? He's just... entertaining. And he gives her gifts. Ugly things that are totally NOT goth, but it would be like rude to get rid of them or whatever. It's nothing.

This group sucks. It's so hard being the only one who's not a total normie </3 Maybe something funny will happen. Probably not though, 'cause the world is just so depressing like that.

yeah even though I’m a devout Jenny Lover, there are still moments where I dislike her. for example, her manipulation of the vagina wig’s girlfriend was pretty cold. what gets me is how unwilling people are to even try and empathize with her, and like you said, the weirdly high standard people hold her to. especially considering that we know a lot about why she behaves so inconsistently. like no shit she’s “craaaazy.” she’s traumatized! and she’s from the midwest!

Eddie as ghost type gym leader whose gym looks like a metal concert and he has his sweetheart strapped to his back at all times

Steve as a water/fighting type gym leader whose gym is half a pool. Everyone is surprised to find this guy in a soft pastel sweater, tight jeans, and the fluffiest hair is the leader. Until he brings put his nail bat as the battle starts.

Everyone thinks they hate each other because they seem polar opposite but no one notices the skull ring on Steve's left hand nor the soft purple sweater Eddie sometimes wears.

The Party is a group of newbie trainers that get taken under their wings of course.

AHHHHH!!! PANDA I LOVE YOU, I already freaked out in dms with you but I’mma say it again: I LOVE YOUR BRAIN, you get ALLLLL the forehead kisses 🥹🥹🥹 I’m sooo gonna ramble away. Maybe not a full fic but my god I’m obsessed. (It’s a full fic, with a surprise pov!)

Onto my rambling fic under the cut 🥰

Here’s the thing, when Dustin decided to take on the gym challenge, he had no idea what he was going to expect.

He didn’t think picking a grass type to start could both hurt and help him between each gym. But Snivy was a little spitfire and like him; dramatic. She didn’t like any of the nicknames he threw out at her. She also didn’t like her pokeball, instead she preferred to sit on his head.

All of his friends were also doing the challenge but he was getting distracted by figuring out more information on each Pokémon instead of just battling. They’re all ahead of him, which, is okay it’s annoying but’s fine.

Especially when he ran into Steve.

Dustin was supposed to take on the fairy gym next but he heard the leader was ruthless. So, he decided to train up a bit. Maybe even evolve Natu and Trapinch. But instead of that, he was grumbling as he carried his very much knocked out, Trapinch to the Pokémon center instead of battling more.

Servine was walking next to him now, too big for staying on top of him when walking. She was also grumbling in her own way, crossed arms and nose in the air.

“We’re trying to get them to evolve, Servine, not knock them out!” He threw out at her getting closer to the center, “can’t believe I let you get your way all the time”

She apparently didn’t like that information and huffed before walking away, which would normally be fine if they weren’t in a new town. So, instead of reaching the Center like he wanted, he turns around to follow her. Returning Trapinch to his ball for now.

“Come ON, Servine I didn’t mean it like that! You’re so good at everything but-” he immediately knocked into somebody and knocked to the floor, “fuck, ow. Dude!”

Looking up he finds a guy, probably in his early twenties with a Mimikyu sitting on his shoulder while a tiny Pumpkaboo floats next to him. Which is a weird combo with the dude’s outfit choice of a soft looking yellow sweater and light wash jeans. “Not my fault you weren’t looking, dude”

Dustin glares up at him before getting up and dusting his legs off, “hey! I’m only looking for my Pokémon, she ran off from me!” Looking around he can’t tell which direction she actually went in, “by any chance you from around here?”

The guy makes a funny assumed face, both ghost pokémon snicker as well- which is so confusing. But he’s not too concerned for that, more so about the fact that his goddamn starter ran off.

“Yeah, you could say I’m from around here. What’s the Pokémon? A tiny Bidoof? Oh or is it a little Oddish?” He laughs and makes a weird hand movement that clearly both ghosts know and move away, “they got a name? That’d be way easier”

Crossing his arms he looks away, “Servine, and no. She didn’t like anything I came up with, so”

The guy’s laugh dies down and he frowns, “what, were the names lame or-” he shakes his head, “you’re upset, sorry, I’m Steve. Let’s find your Pokémon instead of bickering”

“I’m Dustin, and- SERVINE!” His eyes widen as the tiny Pumpkaboo (seriously how is that Pumpkaboo that small?) leads his Servine towards them, “I’m sorry, seriously, you’re the best and that was uncalled for. Are you okay?”

Servine nods and curls into his arms. He doesn’t bother saying anything else to her, cuddles her close and turns to find Steve picking up Mimikyu and whispering to Pumpkaboo, “Thanks. Seriously”

Steve smiles, “no problem, Oz here is pretty good at finding things.” He looks at his watch before wincing, “I gotta run, we’re gonna be late. You at the fairy gym?”

What the- “how do you know?”

Steve gives another funny look before shrugging, “Got an eye for these things, anyway, next gym is ghost. Be wary of him, he’s a little, hm, much. Yeah?”

All he can do is nod and watch as Steve just walks away.

Fairy gyms are brutal, even with Trapinch evolving into Vibrava. His saving grace was Slugma and that was it still rough since it’s fire isn’t that effective against fairy.

Maybe he should’ve gone with more poison types.

But that was two days ago, and now he’s making his way towards the next town and their gym. He is wary. Not only because of what Steve told him but because of running into Lucas.

(Lucas had decided on a water type, Totodile. Which was a little surprising for Lucas but Dustin didn’t question it, the little Totodile was energetic and lovable.)

He was minding his own business trying to figure out whether or not he could, technically, learn how to speak in the Pokémon’s language. When a blue bundle ran towards him, looking around he spots Lucas trying to catch his breath. “Hey! I thought you would’ve been passed this one”

They play catch up and once it’s all been said and done, Lucas shows him where the gym is. It looks fairly normal on the outside but Lucas swears it’s a whole other world inside.

“It’s like a concert, and there’s an actual audience too! Which was overwhelming at first, but once I got my footing it was like they weren’t there” Lucas explains, stopping only once their in front of a normal looking gym, Lucas laughs and shakes his head, “yeah that was my first expression too. I think you’ll enjoy it. Might have a hard time”

He looks away from the building to raise an eyebrow at him, “what does that mean?”

“Dude you picked a grass type as your starter! And you have no dark types!”

Rolling his eyes, “thanks for the encouragement, I’m sure I could handle it. Even with the disadvantages.”

Lucas looked like he didn’t believe him, but it didn’t bother him. Their whole party looked at him funny when he went with a grass type. Hell, Max made fun of him for it.

It didn’t matter, the gym challenge is turning out to be nothing he wanted to do once he’s able. He wanted to be a professor anyway. This was just temporary, even if he gets beat a bunch of times.

Walking inside the gym, he bypasses the annoying tips guy at right next to the door and makes his way to find the actual battle area. Lucas gave him the directions, it was confusing he said.

Sure enough, there’s a goddamn maze and cords everywhere.

After what feels like hours, he makes it to the end and is faced with a stage. Cords and what looks like vines everywhere, sure enough a small audience is there too. It looks all badass and a mix between rock and metal.

As he opens his mouth the lights go away and he has to immediately cover his ears as a loud beat starts. There’s a guitar being played even louder, clearer too. A spot light hits the stage and now he knows who’s playing.

Standing in the middle of the stage is a man. Long frizzy hair, leather jacket over a t-shirt with a band on it, ripped black jeans and black shoes. His guitar really completes the look, red with black lines all over.

The guy plays for a few minutes before stopping and walking closer, “Welcome to my metal concert, you ready for your ass to be handed to you?”

Right as he’s about to open his mouth a little orange and brown blur pops up behind the gym leader, it looks oddly familiar.

The man follows his gaze and groans, shifting his guitar to his back and focusing on the tiny Pokémon next to him, “Ozzy, we talked about this! Either stay in your ball, off the battle field or at home.”

Dustin blinks, moving closer he finds that the tiny Pokémon is a Pumpkaboo. That’s definitely moving and saying something back, which makes the guy shake his head before glancing around.

“Uh-“

“Hold on, I’m trying to find- HONEY LOVE! Come get your child!”

There’s no movement but he hears a snort, then the tiny Pokémon moves away and he sees the gym leader shake his head again, “sorry, that little guy is only a baby. Let’s get this show on the road, shall we?”

The guy’s smile is wild and maybe Lucas was right.

An hour later and Dustin is sitting on the edge of the stage freshly beat and definitely ready to call it quits for the day.

“Did Eds give you a rough time?”

His head snaps up, there’s Steve with Mimikyu on his head and a Vaporeon sitting next to him.

“I just need to do some more training.” He doesn’t want to admit that yes, the gym leader, Eddie, definitely gave him a rough time. It was fun, but Eddie was even more brutal than the fairy gym.

Maybe he just needs to catch a dark type.

Steve nods slightly, making Mimikyu squeak. “Doesn’t hurt to train more, V here” he pats the Vaporeon’s head, causing a pur to happen, “wasn’t the greatest battler, we had to do lots of training. Before you do any of that, want to come have dinner with us? You and your Pokémon can all rest for the night”

Dustin can’t figure out how he didn’t put two and two together. He feels like an idiot right now.

“What do you mean you’re also a gym leader? The final one at that?! Why didn’t you tell me?!”

Steve snorts, putting his hands in his pockets as he leads them to a house, “not my fault you didn’t pay attention when the professor talked about the gym challenge to you.”

Crossing his arms he glares at the ground, “yeah well, Professor Owens forgets shit. How is it you’re the water gym leader yet have a ghost type with you?”

There’s an amused smirk on Steve’s face and what sounds like a giggle come from Mimikyu, “I might specialize with water types, I do have a fond experience with ghost types. And dude, it’s okay to try catching other types. I just so happen to work better with water types. Queen here was a gift, basically, my partner found an egg and gave it to me.”

He nods because Steve’s right, it is nice to use all different types. Though if he did only pick one, grass or bug type is where he’d stick with.

“Alright” Steve smiles and comes to a stop, “we’re here, once we get inside you can let your Pokémon out.” He leads them up to a door and Dustin takes in the mixture of aesthetics.

There’s clearly two different personalities living in this house, whoever Steve’s partner is, definitely enjoys the darker aesthetic compared to Steve. Who gives off a more pastel aesthetic. Not that he fully knows, he’s still going off or how Steve is dressed.

“Hey baby, I brought a guest!”

They both hear a crash and then a curse. A Gengar floats out of the kitchen and snickers as it stops in front of Steve, “What did you do?”

“He’s over the moon for beating up a Nin- woah! Honey love, you brought the kid I just beat?”

Blinking hard because there’s no way, Dustin also rubs his eyes before looking over at the kitchen doorway. His vision clears and yep, there’s the gym leader, Eddie, standing there in a pastel purple sweater and black sweats with his Decidueye leaning behind him.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, seriously?”

Steve outright laughs and pats his shoulder, “dude, you’re face. Oh man, should’ve taken a picture.” He moves closer to Eddie and presses a kiss to his cheek, “He looked so sad after the defeat, I had to.”

Eddie shakes his head, amusement clear on his face, “Honey, you gotta warn people when you bring them over. Even if they look like a kicked Eevee”

He scruffs and looks away from the couple to find the Pumpkaboo, Ozzy apparently, next to him. It makes him groan, “I’m an idiot, you’re the one who found Servine!”

Ozzy nods excitedly before floating down and nudges his bag, confused he opens it and Ozzy dances around him. He’s curious and looks over at the couple, “uh, what?”

“He’s asking you to let your Pokémon out, they’ll enjoy some play time and food.” Eddie answers and looks at the time, “which is done by the way. Come on, let them out and we’ll give you some tips”

Shrugging, he does just that, all his Pokémon looking around curiously before spotting the backdoor where Ozzy and Steve are now in front of. All of them rush over and Steve laughs before opening the door, letting all of his Pokémon outside.

“Don’t worry, we got a fence and there’s food already out there.”

He can only nod and watch as his Pokémon all play together with Steve’s and Eddie’s Pokémon.

Dustin doesn’t know how he ended up here, honestly, he’s sitting inside a home that belongs to two gym leaders. Who are not only two of the strongest ones but also married to each other. Of all the things he was learning, this might’ve been the most surprising.

I’m gonna end it there because if I keep going this post will be stupid long (it already is 😅) BUT!! I decided to make this into a series!! It’ll be a fun one that I could write and post whenever I want. Can switch up povs and everything this way. Please don’t ask me why I went with Dustin’s pov this time around, I don’t even know. I just..kept going.

Sometimes you just need a moment to think.

Your headphones played some instrumental music as you lay on the floor like a starfish. No lights were on, making the apartment appear deserted especially so late.

Joker came home early (at least by his standards) and he thought you would be asleep by now. You were a heavy sleeper so he wasn't too concerned with waking you up. He didn't stifle his footfalls as he locked the front door and walked into the living room.

He didn't see anything out of the ordinary; he thought you were asleep.

Mac invited everyone to play a round of games tonight and for once Joker was gonna participate.

J was gonna grab something to drink from the kitchen and hop on for a few hours or at least until you woke up so he could annoy you. He stepped further into the room and proceeded to trip.

Thankfully Joker caught his balance but he was beyond confused and a little embarrassed from almost falling. So he took it out on you. "What the... Y/n?! Why are you on the floor?"

You averted your gaze from the vaulted ceilings to stare at Joker.

You found J half on the chair, half on the floor staring at you as if you were in the wrong. He didn't say anything so you returned your focus back to the ceiling, all without saying a word.

He blinked in shock. Did you just ignore him?!

Joker snapped his finger to get your attention again. All you did was tap the side of your headphones twice to stop your music.

"Can I help you?" You sighed out.

He normally didn't repeat himself but tonight was turning out to be rather unusual. "Whyyyyy are you on the floor?"

You shrugged, "Cuz I can..?"

"But why in the dark, at--" Joker glanced at the clock across the room, "-- one in the morning? Ain't it past your bedtime Bunny?"

He slipped onto the floor and crawled over until he made it to your side. You were laying on the floor in the dark and people thought he was insane. Was something bothering you? Were you not feeling well?

Joker was going over a thousand scenarios which would have you willingly on the cold hard floor. He came up empty.

So he just flat out asked you. Again.

"Sometimes I just need a moment to think. The ceiling," You pointed up and Joker's gaze followed, "Helps me unravel my thoughts. "

".....but you okay Bun?" J asked.

He laid down next to you and copied your behavior. For a time he let the silence rest as he too stared at the ceiling. There was an.. appeal to it however he wondered just how long you've been here staring into the void. Wow your ceilings were high..

Joker side eyed before he hesitantly slipped his hand into yours. He grinned feeling your hand squeeze his.

Maybe it didn't exactly matter why you were down here. Any moment Joker could spend with you was fine in his book.

So Wednesday has been confused with her feelings for you. Yes you are the shy, pink, pretty girl, the one that has caught the dark gloomy weather of Wednesday eyes,

At first Wednesday had to figure out why she 'liked' you, it was weird because just by looking at the both of you guys looked so different but she soon realized that just who you are as a person is the real reason why you make her feel this way

But when you two came across each other both of you would just stare at each other till either of you left, you didn't know what Wednesday felt about you and Wednesday didn't know what to do with these new feelings

Wednesday needed to hurry quickly because she had noticed that Xavier had been trying to get closer to you

You didn't really mind Xavier presents as he seemed like a really chill guy and he was the few people you were comfortable with

Wednesday knew she had to pull herself together as she didn't know what these feelings are but she knows she hates seeing how now wherever you go Xavier is just there like a fly just swarming around you

It made her feel more hatred when she overheard him trying to flirt with you but luckily you weren't catching on

Soon Wednesday was ready to confess as she didn't want it to be too late but she was having a problem, Xavier

And after a lot of talking to herself she had to get Enid involved which she did not mind

The plan was now going into action as with the help of Enid she had gotten Xavier away from you so you two can have alone time

You were blushing like crazy when Wednesday was right next to you but after a lot of talking you both started to have a conversation till Wednesday confessed taking you back a little

You told Wednesday you felt the same way and in one of the most rare moments you saw Wednesday smile and I think for you told you everything

First impression: "Oh, my gods, she's just like me fr fr" ahaha. I knew, I knew I would love her. It wasn't even funny how much I liked her right away, but given that she was introduced via her messy relationship with Eda and her being so composed and then losing it? Oh, she was so good right away and she did not disappoint one bit.

Impression now: LIGHT OF MY HEART. She's one of those characters that are so close to my heart and ironically I don't talk much about her. But gods, she's so good, I just love how much she's allowed to still make mistakes even after her "redemption" and everything. How much she's allowed to still need support, and to learn to have fun again and find her own way to live. It's SO good, she makes me so emotional.

Favorite moment: The "stay mad" punch is so iconic, 10/10, she should punch more people.

Idea for a story: Gods, there's so much fun to do with Lilith. Off the top of my head, I think something very interesting could be done with how she goes from most awkward failed mentorshop alive with Amity to giving her spinny hugs as greeting (SO much space for parallel guilt over their past actions and their resolution to do better), ooooor potentially her first years in the Coven + how she became Head of the Coven. I think a normal amount about her saying Philip was uncomfortably familiar for the praise and compliments and how he "said what you wanted to hear". Belos was really out there manipulating her as soon as he got her there, wasn't he...

Unpopular opinion: I don't think her switch up from s1 to s2 is out of character or weird. I think she's exactly the same as Hunter in that sense, and we even get a little more time with her to see her struggling to get rid of old ideologies and not even fully succeeding because yeah, of course it's well ingrained in her even months later, she was there for years. BUT she also has room now to breathe without the constant pressure to do better or else. Plus her biggest source of stress, Eda's curse, is... not gone, but she finally did something about it and came clean, which has to be a huge weight off her shoulders. It makes sense for her to be a little more goofy, even while she was still in the coven, she still had her moments with Eda, so it's not really odd that now that she gets the chance, she actually strengtens that connection and opens herself up for more, plus finally being unburdened enough to try and do what she's always wanted.

Favorite relationship: I want to say Hooty so bad but... it has to be Eda, because of course it's Eda. The sisters ever. It doesn't help that their whole deal sort of reminds me of my sister and I. They're just SO much. The love they have for each other, but also the jealousy Eda felt. Love mixed with envy is one of the most compelling things you can do for a fictional relationship. I do not recommend in real life lmao.

Favorite headcanon: I LOVE to think about her making it her goal to restore as much of the history of the Isles as possible, given that Belos DID cause quite a lot of damage there, concealing the real history and making his own version. Typical. Now, I think she would love it both as a last "fuck you" to Belos and because she simply loves history, it would be healing and recreational for her. She can switch that up with her museum duties <3

Micaiah! 🤍

First impression: I thought she was a bit corny. I'm so sorry, Micaiah, I love you. She just comes at you with the "savior of Daein" attitude already in her and it annoyed me a little bit at first haha. I did think her light magic was pretty cool though, it's so unusual to start with one of the main cast, let alone the main lord, as a light mage (Is she the only case, actually?).

Impression now: BELOVED. I recently read a meta about how her colors get drained by Yune's through the story and it made me so sad, she's such an interesting character because she really does start so hopeful, such a symbol of faith and then... well. War. The blood contract. It all gets to her and it's fascinating seeing her struggle with her own morality and her duty. She's SO good. I need her to be happy.

Favorite moment: I'm still replaying and I'm going to do a careful playthrough after my current whirlwind to get to the second playthrough but off the top of my head, her pulling off that one strategy against the Begnion pegasus knights. You know the one. And her holding on to her plan even as Sothe gets threatened but then being desperate to save him, it's SUCH a scene.

Idea for a story: I'm so curious about her years while Sothe and her get separated. Admittedly, I don't remember if they say what happened there or what she was doing, but if they don't, I would like to know. Unpopular opinion: I do not like what she has going on with Sothe 💔 Which is unfortunate since it seems like what is intended. It's not even just that I don't like them in a romantic sense, they clash SO much in such petty ways during the story that it was sometimes like watching your parents who definitely need a divorce but won't admit it. Slightly too painful to bear.

Favorite relationship: I love her whole deal with Pelleas. I'm so biased. It might seem like whatever, and I don't remember enough just yet to hold a proper argument but I think they have a fun dynamic, especially with him being like "oh, you're so special the spirits picked you, haha, careful so they don't think you're one of those branded tho (:". Like oof. So much going on there. Also Pelleas being so adoring of her while she feels so compelled to help him. Both of them being trapped by their perceived duty and trapped in the image people have built of them. It's tasty.

Favorite headcanon: I like to think she ends up eventually going to Stefan's branded nation eventually. I think, as much as she cares for Daein and obviously loves the people around her, she still has a big degree of feeling like an outcast, as most people like her do which... in all fairness is a point Stefan himself makes. Even if she ends up preferring to be around the beorc and laguz instead of keeping herself to one nation with only people like her, I think it would be healing if she gets to experience that for a while. I don't think Stefan is planning to pull a Goldoa anyway, so they probably wouldn't be isolated, so it would be nice.

First impression: It's so sad because I don't remember too well, but I know I thought he was SO cool. I thought his abomination transformation was scary as fuck and, for that, extremely cool. I'm not the most versed in sounds but is that a bell toiling whe he turns? Regardless of what it is, it's SUCH an ominous sound right before he does that. He looked so threatening and it was just so cool to me haha. I think I thought he was really fun before that, because oh my goodness, he's so silly ahaha "I was scheduled for some ✨ me time ✨ today, so hand yourselves over before things get nasty™️". The line delivery is perfect. His design pops up so much. He's so bitchy ahaha. Amazing introduction, frankly.

Impression now: LOVE OF MY LIFE, I MUST MARRY THIS MAN IMMEDIATELY. Genuinely I could count in one hand the amount of characters I have genuinely wanted to kiss and he's one of them ahaha. Which isn't only about his beauty, he's just such a cool character. He has so many layers and he's SO good. I'm so frustrated, the fandom does not get it, why do they want to take everything he does in the worst light (I know why. The racism, sigh). Not a day goes by in which I don't lament his cut screentime, the fact he gets so many ties to the main plot and he's such a foil TO BELOS OF ALL CHARACTERS??? Insane. This man has so many interesting things going on for a character that appears less than 15 minutes and I will forever be chewing on glass over it. SO much to explore with him.

Favorite moment: I cannot do this, all of his moments are exceptionally good ahaha. It's either gonna be his "ALRIGHT, NO MORE PLAYING AROUND" while he transforms (I gotta say, he's very hot for that) OR the iconic headchop. I think it's very amazing of him to go "actually, I was wrong" without any embarrassment or hesitation and immediately change his attitude and try to do better. People do not get how difficult that is because they're focused on seeing only the worst in him, Darius is just that good.

Idea for a story: SO MANY. Shoutout to my wips still not likely to see the light of day until I get my shit together but: Darius dealing with depression after the disappearance of his mentor and Darius dealing with depression after everything is over bc, oh, surprise, my man, your mental illness doesn't go away even if you ignore it until things are finally going well, you have some baggage to deal with and some healing to do. Also I want to bad to write him in his young years with the mentor, I'm swearing by my headcanon that- oh, wait, I can use this for that option down there, nevermind ahaha. Anyway, yeah, the second idea was him with his mentor learning to do the abom transformation to get his promotion to Head Witch.

Unpopular opinion: Liking him is an unpopular opinion :[ I think he'll be an excellent father to Hunter, actually. Yes, he has no experience, but which parent does before having their kids? Plus he has something the other previous options for parents don't have, which is he has the same background as Hunter, aka, he was in the Emperor's Coven as well, for YEARS. And he also used to be a loyal believer, given that he had his mentorship, he KNOWS what is like in the coven, he knows what is like to cope with your world crumbling when you realize everything you believed in is wrong, and he has dealt with the grief of losing someone important to you to Belos. Hitting the boxes for experience in a cult, religious guilt, and grief over a loved one lost specifically to Belos. Attitude wise he's already a very good fit for Hunter's needs, but combine that with his specific life experience? I think he's absolutely perfect (of course there'll be fumbles but please, you really think any of the others wouldn't have fumbles? Sounds weird to me you think only the black man would be a bad parent but whatever <- not directed at you, friend, obviously, I'm just speaking to the proverbial wall ahahaha).

Favorite relationship: You know me, it's absolutely Hunter and him ahahaha. Eber is SO good too, in all fairness, but all the possibilities with Hunter and Darius just get to me. I'm weak to family bonds, plus the trope of "I'm not getting attached to this kid... oh, fuck" just gets to me haha.

Favorite headcanon: This has bases on canon anyway, and I have talked about it before, but I think he's the kind of person who really thrives around other people, but specifically people he trusts, even though he can definitely handle a crowd. As a result, I think he does so, so badly when he has no support. Despite being such a confident man, I feel like his confidence plummets when he has no support around, which is why it probably took him a while to even decide to start the rebellion after his mentor was gone, because he had nobody around to help him pick up the pieces of himself and he just struggled to believe in himself. Basically, I think he needs more support than it could seem, he's not the kind of person who can easily thrive on his own, he's too softhearted for that, the coven just pushed him into difficult circumstances since he was aware that someone had to do something to help and there was nobody but him who stood a chance at the time.

Because of her being born and raised in dark matter type planet she controls/ manipulates darkness. Sometime in her life when she left her home in search of another planet, she entered the Solar system. Upon entering new system she could have easily picked any lunar object around the planets like Saturn or Jupiter but she specifically chosed Earth's moon, mostly to know what organisms live on Earth, and since the moon shines because of the Sun it affected her rings so they started to glow more. Since there were creatures (who I think we're called Moon Fiends??, idk they appeared in Johnny gets mooned) who wanted to attack her for entering their territory, but they were easily overpowered by her power and no other creature was left on the Moon. Since she started living on the Moon, she gained new powers from the Moon.

While she looks like a bad guy, she is neither a hero or a villain. While she did once saved Earth from Dark Vegan, she still has a twisted mind and has evil goals.

I'll say Dale Cooper, because I feel like a lot of fandom appreciation for him seems to turn him into an avatar for gender or neurodiversity in a way that just... really flattens him. I don't disagree with reading him as neurodivergent, per se, but I also feel like a lot of takes about this approach it from an angle of "Cooper is an autistic icon and this can be used to explain away everything ~weird about him," when actually being neurodivergent is quite possibly one of the most "normal" things about him, and underneath that he's also weird in ways that no other human being has ever conceived. It’s weird for me because while I am a lesbian and find her attractive, any time I see/think about her in a sexual context, it immediately kills the mood. She has to make herself be all serious 50% of the time, she’s sad or injured 35% of the time, and then during the last 15% she gets to just be happy. Best thing ever.

Any time I see her in my dreams, I always know it’s her, and can even sometimes tell which Natasha it is (i.e. S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Most Wanted, Avengers Assemble, Endgame/Black Widow), even if the face is blurry or just solid skin. Plus, we’re always friends; I’ve only had one dream where she seemed even a little annoyed. One dream I had was set in a forest. There were things on fire and alligators or maybe crocodiles. idk if it was intentional but i think you’ve done a really good job of subtly showing how alone yeji probably feels rn. the only person paying attention to her atm is yeosang and that’s a trap in itself considering he treats her like shit and is hot and cold with his attention towards her anyway. she’s essentially in a lose-lose situation. and ofc hyunjin has a lot on his plate rn so it’s understandable that talking to yeji isn’t a priority, but i do think he needs to talk to her about her relationship with yeosang at some point. she’s his best friend and he also can somewhat tell it’s toxic relationship since he doesn’t live under a rock lmao. a bit of tough love is great and it’s good that he’s been telling her straight up that yeosang is a bad person and that she’s been lowkey weird since dating him. but as a friend he should also be there for her to seek advice from about concerns in her relationship, and not always dismiss it as simply yeosang’s a dick and you shouldn’t date him. but since he’s made it bluntly clear he hates yeosang and doesn’t want to hear about them she probably feels like she can’t confide in him if she needs to. idk i’m rambling but basically i think it’s completely fine for hyunjin to not prioritise her rn bc of the shitshow going on in his life atm, but i also feel sympathetic for yeji who’s in a manipulative relationship and probably feels isolated since hyunjin has been so dismissive towards her.
