Considering most characters tend to go through little arcs and improve through the game + Linuj's own statement that Kokoro could have turned out differently if she had possitive influences in her teenage years can you imagine how absolutely insane it must be to change for the better with the help of newfound unexpected friends only to be told you never did that in your youth and became such a monstrous person to the point you used your own child as a lab rat? Because i sure did!

I started this drawing last year shortly after completing Little Nightmares 2 but never got past the lineart stage. But hey, since its been a year I figured this would be a perfect time to pick this back up and actually finish one of my many, many old WIP pieces (unheard of I know 😲).

For what was meant to just be a silly little joke piece I ended up putting more effort into this than I'd originally planned, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's also been a minute since I've done a more involved piece (okay fine I had a head-start from 2023 but I'm still counting this as a 2024 piece).

gotta applaud person of interest for having a character who is essentially a prophet to an omniscient god, and yet is somehow not too overpowered. in fact, root is rather importantly limited in her power. in the sense that she doesn’t. you know. have the power to stop bullets
