I’m outie (it’s naptime) but for all my followers have fun, take care of yourself, stay silly, and block as many people or tags as it takes to not want to commit arson against an entire city and fanbase.
Remember that it’s very easy for your posts to accidentally end up in the opposing teams’ tags using any version of their name/nicknames so be careful. There will be hate for the opposing team/players. You will pick up a blorbo and then see people advocating violence against him and it will suck. Stay out of the tags applies to both posts and ppl.
Also be aware that players will play through some of the most horrific injuries you’ve ever seen and we won’t find out about it until June. Take care of yourself.
Despite all that playoff hockey no matter how invested you are in the team is exciting and different from the regular season and I hope everyone had fun (and pls hockey gods less fucking injuries)
This is m y first hockey season and first time watching the playoffs. Any tips? Warnings??
sure! here’s frobbys guide to surviving the playoffs:
the first round is the best round. everything is always happening all the time. pucks bounce. goalies get hot. there WILL be an upset and it WILL get messy.
stay silly.
don’t get involved in online arguments about dirty hits or injuries or fights. it happens every year and it’s never any fun.
if your team is no longer in it: bandwagon a random team for a silly reason. best jersey. scariest mascot. least annoying fanbase. it’s more fun when you have something to care about.
everyone will complain about the reffing the entire time and they’ll all be right.
try to be considerate. no hate in other teams’ tags.
if all else fails: root for the most dramatic outcome. hockey gods love mess. you’ll never be disappointed.

I think Jonathan would send good morning texts to Irene at varying times to test when they're awake. Assuming when they respond is when they've woken up, they're usually up anywhere between 11 AM to 3 PM (Which makes sense, as Irene is an overnighter at their job!)
Until there's one week where they're consistently responding at like. 7-9 am. And he calls them out on it bcuz he knows their ass has NOT gone to bed yet and so one time he does it and he can see them typing and then. not and he's like "Avoiding me so it seems like you're still sleeping, are we?" AND THEYRE JUST LIKE 😭😭😭 ( <- exactly what they're doing)

alright, I met the boobie doctor™️;
exact date's to be scheduled, but we're looking at sometime around Feb-March ish for the next semi-hiatus. I'm probably gonna spend my month off catching up on shows tbh!
beforehand, I'll probably focus on video games and bigger plots in RP; though will still be focusing on mutuals for the sake of my mental health, rather than 'events'. I'll ease back into RP post-op at my own discretion; between being conked out early on and a chance of temporary hormonal depression, I'm gonna have to ease up until reality sinks in then just to be on the safe side, before or parallel to any retcons I decide to make for Felix. We're also easing back into the multifandom shit with the animal crossing/etc. muses, just because it's time, my hyperfixations are back to jumping around ADHD style, totally unrelated. I'm shooting for more 'balance' this time around instead of pokemon or nopokemon, lmfao-
I'm about to crash and take a nap, after all that, so I'll be on once I'm refreshed, got plenty of time off until Friday~

sometimes you just wake up cranky. and in that case even if a nap does not fix the problem, it is at least a lot harder to be annoyed and scowl at everything that feels slightly off if you're sleeping.

we as a society don't talk enough about how Makoto's response to every trauma he experiences in this game is to power-nap the depression away.
Watch the motive video right after breakfast at 7 am? Sleeps all the way through the day until it's almost 10 pm, and then proceeds to immediately go back to sleep. Bro saw his family die and said honk shoo. When he gets a cold in chapter 5, he sleeps so heavily he undoes his memory erasure. Bro falls down who knows how many feet headfirst into the trash chasm and sleeps it off, no injuries. Naptime will solve all your problems, guaranteed
