Work is so!!!! busy !!!!!!!!!! for me every single day holy shit I want to kms actually. I’m in that phase of wanting a new job but being so terrified because I would have to re-learn all my day to day tasks and have a whole new team AND unemployment is so bad so the interview process would be a pain in the ass. Pulling thru for now but I’m gonna start seeing what else is out there 🏃‍♀️

TW/ED: I’m almost one week clean from lax abuse !! going to celebrate with a little cake for Jilix birthday (I will post pics when I decorate it…cake decorator era….). It’s such a small feat but I’ve been abusing laxatives for a good amount of my life and it’s really not letting me eat normal meals anymore so I finally scheduled an endoscopy and I’m going back on meds (everyone booed !!!!) In my hotel room for Lolla I almost asked my sister to take me to the emergency room bc I ate nothing for like 2 days and then took so much saline I thought I was going to die of dehydration😭 anyways I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to ask for meds so hopefully she prescribes me something (pls pls pls)

I’ve also been hanging out w my parents every day that’s gang frfr 💯 yesterday my mom brought me a lil cake from crumbl and today I went to the art store with my dad and after my doctor’s appointment I’m going to the kpop store again for the first time in months bc I need so many new albums and it’s a lil congratulatory gift to myself (granted I stay clean for the remainder of the week lol) and there’s one of those idol photobooth thingies so I need pics with Taemin or I will simply pass away…….

I stepped away from my life - I learned to surf (badly),🏄‍♀️ I rode some horses (🏇that went better), I did a lot of therapy (YESS 💪😍 therapy!). My brother and I figured out how to make a gin using recycled wine grapes!? 🍇 👉(@renaisspirits) I adopted Sofia in Mexico, who seems to be an angel not a dog 👼. We filmed a Harry Potter reunion⚡️. I said goodbye to my Grandma and Grandpa. I retraced my steps. I started a women’s environmental investment fund 📈. I played Pickleball with @sugarrayleonard and I even played golf and then tried to make all of my girlfriends learn too. I cut my thumb nail off on both hands trying to cook for myself and then was only able to do things one handed for months 🙈🔪👩‍🍳👋. I felt really sad and really pissed off about a lot of things. I learned more about love and being a woman (💃❤️ ). It took me three years but I have finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row. I burned some things down 🏙🔥🧯 . I eat green things now 🌱 ! I got obsessed with making Squarespace websites. I directed my first commercial 🎥.

The Eagle Rock Taco Crawl

Today rojan took me on the grand Eagle Rock Taco Crawl for my bday!! It was a great time, quality sister time, a valuable professional growth experience, and delicious dinner. We hit 7 spots, everything from street trucks to boujee gentrified tex-mex, and had tacos ranging from $1 to $6. We kept it chicken every time in the name of SCIENCE. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely return to villas or angels, which were my fav 2. In the end, what distinguished my favorite tacos was the handmade tortillas, as always. Keep it bussin, east Los Angeles! City of 👼 angels and 🌮 tacos baby!

Eagle rock taco tour OFFICIAL ranking 2024 by me and Shaya. For her 23rd birthday gift, I took her through all of my fave tacos in eagle rock PLUS some extras. Photos are in order from best to worst. Got chicken at every place for consistency. our comments are as follows:

1. Leo’s. 10/10 Best tacos in Los Angeles. Staff (Leo Jr.) is so kind. Meat is always flavorful and juicy but not overbearing. Fantastic salsa and only $2/taco. Number one global establishment

2. Villa’s 9.5/10. Just as good as leos but more pricey and have a lot going on. The handmade tortillas and hibiscus onions are the showstoppers. Also free guac is big. But, they just can’t beat a classic street taco.

3. Angels. 7/10. Great vibe, love the handmade tortillas. I didn’t like the flavor or texture of the meat. Plus points for extensive topping bar. Minus points for too spicy

4. Homestate 6.6/10. If they didn’t claim to be texmex their score would be way lower, but because they admit they’re not authentic I don’t hate it as much. They are known for their flour tortillas which are good, but other than that the flavor was lacking and I did NOT like the cabbage they put in the taco.

5. Charlie’s 5/10. I only go to Charlie’s when drunk and desperate. Flavor is not bad but meat and tortillas are dry. They also don’t provide radishes or limes

6. Rula’s. 3.3 Not good. No flavor, SO dry. Salsa tastes super strange. Would never willingly eat these again

7. La Estrella tacos 2/10. I did not take more than one bite because they are so bad. Chicken was not grilled, just boiled and doused in what tasted like canned enchilada sauce. Way too spicy
