The fact that the doctor is so openly affectionate now is so cute but also so sad. I think it’s because it took so long for them to tell Yaz how they felt and even then they couldn’t actually say the words, so now 14 is just openly showing everyone how much he loves them

having watching One Piece roughly a million times i can confirm that the early anime removes pretty much all instances of self-harm. theres a bit in Shells Town (that also didnt make it into live action) where Morgan orders his men to shoot themselves and theres a panel of them pointing their guns at their heads because theyre so afraid of him. Theres also a bit when Zoro fights Cabaji where he intentionally cuts an old wound open to give himself a handicap that was cut from the anime.

huh… interesting, thank you. Also god there have been so many weird violent dudes in this show so far that I’ve already completely forgotten who Cabaji was. Moments lost in time, like tears in rain
