Do you ever think about the fact that the ONE time Sanji let himself be comfortable and enjoy dresses and makeup with cigarettes, Ace died and Luffy almost died all alone and so far away. Will Sanji ever forgive himself for daring to relax and explore himself a bit while catastrophic things were happening? (Jk he'll never do so again, just in case)

Iroh goes very, very still.

He looks up at the young man sitting across from him. He tries to make time to have tea with Shun whenever he can, though it is not as often as he would like- in spite of the fact that he's taken up permanent residence at the Caldera.

Shun is watching him, gauging his reaction. That part of him makes him feel so different from his previous incarnation who at times seemed almost oblivious to the people around him. It has taken him two lifetimes, but his nephew has finally gained the ability to read the room.

(It is bittersweet. Shun was not well liked in his tribe. He suspects the origin of this new talent is rooted in that.)

"Of course you can," Iroh says, "-but you do not have to if you do not wish to. Who you were to me in your past life does not need to define who you are to me now."

"I know," Shun says, "-but I want to."

Iroh smiles. He can feel tears prick at the corner of his eyes. They are of the bittersweet sort- happiness, at the chance to be an Uncle again. Sadness, because it did not have to be this way.

(He'd sent his nephew off to die.)

"In that case," Iroh says, "-I would be more than happy if you did."

Shun nods, taking a long, awkward sip of tea. He drums his hands nervously against the table when he's done, before he finally swallows and says-

"-this blend tastes like unwashed feet, Uncle."

(Iroh nearly spits out his tea. Ah. It would seem two lifetimes is not nearly enough to convince his nephew to like tea.)

i don't think it's being difficult to want to be in a headspace that works for you when you write! would having people send lines from songs work? so no music, just the words? i think poetry sounds wonderful, though idk if i know any that would make good prompts :( regardless of what u choose i'm sure u will create plenty of beautiful things :)

now that i think about it, most good lines i read and adore i use for my very lame a softer f1 edits but maybe one day i'll try to switch it up and write something based on them. (most of the poetry that i tag with my fics and/or ships either encapsulate my feelings about them or actively inspire me -- ahh i'm now thinking about that anon who sent me an ask that just said 'death taxes and devastating poetry tagged sebmick'. anon i hope you're doing well!)

Have you ever wanted to play a cute monster taming game with lots of love and heart put into every inch and corner of it by a Team of fantastically talented artists?

Me too!! Too bad it got cancelled literally a few weeks before it was going to be anounced!

Artist Nicholas Kole on twitter along with many other talented artists have been sharing their work of nearly 4 years on this game. I cant imagine the heartbreak of working so hard on this project only for it to get canceled right before Release and everyone on the Team to get laid off.

It was meant to be an open world, minecraft inspired builder, with all sorts of unique creatures with various skins, variations depending on biomes, and even petting animations. That you could tame! It also had a large amount of beautiful and unique character customization. Here's some of the art ( NOT MY ART ) for the project!

Apparently alot of this game was near finished, coded, etc! ( ART ABOVE IS BY NICHOLAS KOLE , JOHANNES FIGLHUBER, INES MARSAL, AND MARIA LOBANOVA )

I dont know if the artists can look into crowdfunding ( the Studio still may own the IP ) , but myself and a few others have been trying to get the hashtag #bringbackprojectdragon get some traction on twitter! Maybe if the internet raises enough stink, the Studio might pay attention. Im not sure how likely that is but I desperately want thus game to exsist, it would be a dream game for me and many others im sure. So please consider joining in if you have a twitter.
