thinking about how christopher diaz stole his dad’s entire personality…the attitude and the wit are the most obvious. but the scene in s5 where chris asked “the things that make you sad, am i one of them?” or something very similar…or any scene where chris is worried about eddie because eddie worries about everyone (that scene in particular Got Me, i can’t even explain why it reminds me of eddie it just Does). even the scene in s6 where the entire 118 is on a joint call and eddie’s half listening because he’s playing a video game. or running as far away as possible from your parents the moment you’re able…lord

anyway there are two main thoughts i always have when i think about how similar chris is to eddie

1) eddie tries so so so hard to be nothing like his own father. he also said once that he doesn’t want chris to be like him (in terms of hiding his emotions, which eddie does because of ramon…eddie’s trying so hard to break that cycle). but chris is just like him, like exactly like him, in so many ways, except eddie describes chris as a fundamentally happy person on multiple occasions, which like…eddie broke the cycle. chris is like if eddie had been a happy, emotionally vulnerable child, with little responsibility 🙁 and that’s so deeply beautiful to me

2) god i hope eddie’s parents are looking at that kid right now and seeing just how much he’s like their son. because EDDIE raised him, single handedly. like no shit chris is just like eddie, who else would he be like? i hope they look at chris and see eddie, in the teenage rage and in his smile and in most of his mannerisms and in every time he rolls his eyes at them. i hope it reminds them who’s child that is. because chris sure as hell isn’t theirs

What would you say are your more controversial opinions about the hp characters?

ohhhh okayyy. i feel like my opinions on a lot of the characters aren’t controversial because i dont feel super strongly towards anyone in any negative light but here are some i could think of at the top of my head:

i’m glad the malfoys faced more extreme backlash after the second wizarding war. a lot of people in the fandom seem to be very sympathetic towards draco and scorpius for getting dogpiled with the brunt of it (which yeah, it sucks, especially for scorpius) but the prejudice makes complete make sense to me. if i was someone who didn’t know scorpius’ character, and had someone from my family get killed in the second war due to death eaters or something— seeing the malfoys still be wealthy and walk around freely without any jailtime, i would be bitter too. they’re hated on but they’re still one of the richest families ever, so they’ll live LOL

another anon has asked about this and i haven’t responded to them yet but when i do i will link it here for my reasons. basically: the best character in the cursed child is harry potter. i think the way they wrote his character and ptsd carried the play. it was def his story, not albus’.

i do think dumbledore has some aspects of him that may be considered morally gray, but mostly i dont think he is. he does everything for the good of the world, and his complete selflessness leads him to sacrifice anything for it— even himself and the people he loves, when necessary. i completely understand why people wouldn’t agree with his methods though.

james potter isn’t a sunshine character he’s a dickhead. fans of him made him a golden retriever character to be more palatable for modern times. i like him the way he is: an asshole and then less of an asshole 👍 this is what true stanning looks like

pansy parkinson is racist and out of all the female side characters, developing HER is so questionable from fandom

harry had questionable descriptions about a lot of male characters to make people think he could be a little 🏳️‍🌈 there was bill, there was sirius, there was cedric. but draco is not a part of that list. harry was not feeling draco whatsoever throughout the series but drarry shippers cling to that one ‘obsessed’ line

furthermore, harry rejecting draco’s offer of friendship wasn’t a sad or a ‘what if’ scene. draco was being a classist piece of shit and harry didnt want to fuck with that, there isnt any way in any timeline he wouldve accepted draco’s friendship.

slytherin sucks just generally lol. people want so bad to pluck anti-heroes out of a series that was written specifically with the mind to make all the characters suck.

hermione and ron’s drama isn’t as toxic as people make it out to be. yes, this includes the time hermione sent birds after him. people act like its the end of the world but she was tackling puberty and the end of society soooo i give her a pass to tweak out.

mostly every harry potter character has horrific names. like literally mostly everyone. even the name harry potter 🙁

rating oil paintings i did in high school based on their likability (to Me) ⊙▂⊙

light study 💡 - the earliest one out of all of these bcuz i technically painted it in middle school but then went back in HS to add the seagulls and boat so i could fit it into the theme of my AP art portfolio LMAOOO but still one of my favorites, which is sorta sad cuz it’s so old… 9/10

filial love - honestly didn’t care for this one very much because it was meant to just be more fodder for my AP portfolio but turns out my mom likes it a lot!! she says it reminds her of “the lion of judah ✝️” (whoever that is) so i was happy to give it to her! she displays it in her room so her fondness really carries this one’s rating: 10/10

play nice with your brother!! 🐻‍❄️ - i like this one a lot! because it’s one of the only paintings my hardass art teacher let me use neon colors on (or at least as neon as u can get with oil paint). usually he just paints over my colors to make them grayer. that guy… otherwise this one is just not very interesting. 8/10

koi pond 🎏 - PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHAT I MEAN when he paints over my stuff with gray!!! i was so excited to paint this one and added all sorts of flair that i like—pink dots as leaf highlights, super detailed colorful water—AND THEN HE JUST WENT AND SMEARED ALL MY DETAILS 💀💀💀 so i Hate this one and avoid looking at it as much as possible. 0/10 below it is a version from a diff angle that i did in an hour with shitty free acrylic verrryyy recently in college, and u can just see how i went ham on the colors right?! eugh. what could’ve been… 🪦

with heavy heart ❤️ - a pretty big old lady (18x24”). i feel obligated to like her because she won me the congressional competition for my district so i got to go to the capitol to see her framed there and briefly meet my stale white bread representative but HONESTLY all i can think about is how hideous my makeup was at the time and i get upset. 🙁 i do think this granny is very pretty though!! 7/10

my ocean blue 🪼 - this one im not sure if i like it or only tolerate it. i just wanted to paint a super colorful coral reef!! "🐠🪸🫧" you know?? but my mom and teacher said it Needed a message for ~intrigue~ so they brainstormed together (without me) and made me add this random ass child with a VR headset smack dab in the middle… something about cyberreality? IDK i just want her ass gone so badly. i also never got around to finishing the stripes on that fish in the front but nobody calls me out on it so it's whatever 🤷‍♂️ LOL 4/10

radial self portrait 🎯 - HUGE DEVIATION IN STYLE not only bcuz this one’s gouache instead of oil but also because i got to paint without an old man (art teacher) hovering over my shoulder!!! 😸 it was my first time painting something super stylized and i realized that painting can actually be Not Agonizing!!! 😸😸 this was at my summer camp where we had to come up with a radial pattern using a compass (i hate that little pointy shit) and then combine it with our self portrait. it’s me having a headache! i painted this in a single stressful sleepless night because i have HORRIFIC time management when i’m left alone so it’s pretty sloppy. also at the time i had those blonde e-girl bangs hahaha… i still like this one a lot!! i was just SO happy i didn't have to go photorealistic AND i could use my favorite colors (mainly hot pink)!!! 10/10 😸

overall my high school painting in experience was spent beefing with my art teacher and inhaling paint fumes. sort of miserable honestly -_-

I am disappointed with the way the show portrayed Blood and Cheese

[spoilers ahead for ep 2x01]

First of all, I fully understand the absence of Maelor and I’m not even mad about that. The choice between the two twins aka “which one is the boy” is good imo. Also, Phia is a great actress and I don’t blame her one bit for what happened to her character. She did the best she could’ve with what she was given. But the execution of all this? Meh.

1. Why did Helaena choose Jaehaerys, instead of Jaehaera? It would’ve made MUCH MORE SENSE for her to choose Jaehaera because she’s the girl. And then B&C would’ve killed the other twin, Jaehaerys, because they knew she would not give up the heir to the throne, king Aegon’s only son. Her choosing Jaehaerys takes away her guilt of living next to the child she named to die.

2. Why was the death of Jaehaerys so off screen? I’m not saying I wanted to see a six year old child be beheaded, in all it’s gory and graphic details, but I wish Helaena and Jaehaera were there to witness it. It was important for them to see it happening. It could’ve been just a silhouette, a shadow on the wall, or just Haleana’s expression of horror. Instead, she just runs away. It’s still sad, obviously, in its own way, that she wasn’t there for her son in his last moments, but again, that takes away from her guilt and eventual downfall into madness.

3. Why the fuck was this whole thing played off as a misunderstanding/accident? Of course the creators wanted to make Daemon look less evil, by making him tell B&C to kill Aemond instead. And I kinda liked the addition of one of them saying “what if we don’t find him?” and I expected Daemon to say something like “You can kill another son” or whatever, but then it just FUCKING CUTS AWAY? And now have to INTERPRET STUFF? So that no one can hold Daemon accountable because “technically we never saw him say that in the show!☝️🤓” Fuck this.

4. The Alicole sex scene fucking ruined the whole scene. I was hoping, praying even, that the leaks of Alicole having sex while Blood & Cheese happens was just a rumor, a theory. But no. The creators fucking decided to make them have sex while this horrible incident happens. Someone in that writing room said “You know what? Let’s have Alicent and Criston do the nasty as Aegon’s six year old child is brutally murdered and Helaena is being traumatized for life! That seems like a great idea!” AND THEY WENT WITH IT. That addition was just so fucking unnecessary. What was the fucking point of putting that in? Wouldn’t it be great if Jacaerys heard of the death of Lucerys first and then ran to Rhaenyra on Dragonstone to tell her that his brother was fucking murdered, only to find Rhaenyra having sex with Daemon? Like, why was Lucerys’ death so serious and tragic, and impactful, but then Jaehaerys’ death is overshadowed by Helaena running into her mother having sex with her lover? God, I’m so angry.

5. Helaena didn’t seem to be affected at all by the death of her son. “They killed the boy” and that’s IT? She didn’t cry her eyes out, didn’t scream, didn’t beg for B&C to kill her instead. She almost didn’t react at all. Her son, her baby, her six year old child, was just brutally fucking beheaded and the creators don’t even show her reacting to it? Rhaenyra showed more emotions when she found the clothes of her death son, and Helaena was like 🙁 when HER SON WAS BEING KILLED IN FRONT OF HER?? What the actual hell. And may I repeat, this is in NO WAY an attack on the actress, Phia. I think she still gave us an amazing performance, but it’s fucking obvious that the creators decided to go with the “oh well, she’s weird and distant, and cold and unemotional” narrative they made up. They won’t fucking allow her to grieve.

All those people writing that “Even GRRM was horrified by this scene!” or “This is gonna be like the Red Wedding!”… I was fucking lied to.

This whole sequence felt so short, and rushed, and unemotional… I am very disappointed, and sad. This was supposed to be one of the most important events of the entire Dance. They first actual innocent blood that was spilled. The event that led to Helaena going mad. The event that changed Aegon as a person and made him declare war on Rhaenyra and gave him motivation to repay Team Black for what they’ve done. It was supposed to be fucking important. And the show turned it into a four minute awfully paced scene with dumb additions and lots of unnecessary and easily avoidable changes.

hi aura! i think i have mega baby fever too honestly 🙁 like ik the convo abt them and babies and marriage has died down a little but i’m sparking it back up again

so ofc we know that wandanat is older than r so i feel they’re destined to have a friend who has a child already and basically said friend asks wandanat if they could babysit and despite their busy schedule wandanat says yes cuz i mean duhh and the baby like favors r for some reason and r just eats that up they’re attached to each other all day long but no one’s complaining

i feel r would’ve had one of those summer jobs to make some extra money before university and stuff and she was probably a babysitter which is why she’s practically a natural

r would def have the baby on her lap at her computer table “teaching” them how to do cs things but it obviously fails cuz baby probably just wants to play so r and baby go to the living room and like r does that thing where u hold the baby and guide them to walk

yeah like maybe the baby is on the brink of speaking and just babbles a bunch of words and r tries to teach baby how to say some names (including her own) and words and baby ends up saying some sort of mixture of rs name somehow and baby giggles a bunch and wandanat see this and it definitely just fuels their baby fever more

especially once r and baby are worn out from playing all day r feeds baby a bottle and they end up passing out on the couch and r is protective of the baby making sure they don’t fall or anything like either baby is surrounded by rs arm or maybe baby is on rs chest

wandanat just follow r and baby everywhere around the house snapping sooo many candid photos for the future

okay that’s the end of my baby rant but i just want one so so so bad or maybe just to babysit a relatives baby soon cuz they’re all so cute

it’s cannon that coulson and may are together and have a little one, and they ask wandanat to babysit on a whim when they’re both called into office for a national security threat. it’s an overnight assignment and while wanda and natasha have important office things to be doing, one of the main perks about running your own company is that you’re available to help your friends when they need it. the little bean is ten months old, an age r considers the sweet spot of babyhood. they’re not just a blob that screams for milk and sleeps, but they’re not entirely mobile yet and they’re cuddly. when she finds out that the baby will be joining them for a day, she goes into mother hen mode and starts frantically picking up the living room and kitchen, making sure all the remotes are places somewhere high and that nothing fragile or sharp is within reach. the baby isn’t walking yet, but she’s cruising all tables and couches so r takes no chances about what determined little hands can reach. the candles and glass decide pieces are all locked away in a closet upstairs, and she’s pleased to find that wanda and natasha have a couple baby toys stored in the garage from when morgan was little. she turns the living room into a playroom before wanda can even come back downstairs from taking a shower.

when phil and may drop the littlest coulson off, r hangs back, not wanting to overwhelm the baby whose already upset that her parents have left. she glides around the kitchen making a snack (overly smashed blueberries and strawberries sliced to small they’re practically inedible) but she will not risk a choking hazard, so natasha doesn’t comment on the fact that the baby can eat normal sized strawberry pieces. when she does come into the living room and sits down besides wanda, whose giving the pitiful little human a bottle, she smiles so softly as she glances down at the little angel dressed in a chaotic blend of colors. she has a sneaking suspicion coulson dressed the little one and they were in too much of a hurry for may to get her redressed. the baby looks up at her and it’s literally game over after that, she reaches a hand out to r, completely transfixed on her to the point where wanda pulls the bottle away in fear that she’ll start choking. r laughs when the baby practically launches itself at her, tiny hands clapping against her cheeks as the little one babbles. they’re inseparable after that. r has the baby either on her hip, cradled to her chest, or they’re both laying on their bellies on the floor of the living room. r makes colors seem like the most interesting thing ever. she’s holding up little plastic blocks and giving full monologues about the color and what else in the world is that color. she practically kills natasha when she gets to the green block and goes, “greens the best color in the world. your aunt wanda and aunt natasha have the brightest green eyes, and sometimes they look like soft blades of grass in early spring, but sometimes, when they get all mean and scary, they look like a forest in the middle of summer that’s three seconds away from being filled with fireflies.” and the baby just drinks up every little word that r says as she chews on her fist.

a couple hours into babysitting, both wanda and natasha have things to get done in the office, and the baby is meant to be napping so they see no problem with sneaking away for a couple of hours, but at the first pitiful whine that slips through the monitor, r is going and picking them up, bouncing around the nursery as she sings a soft song that’s in no way a lullaby, but the baby doesn’t know that. she decides against sleep, and takes the baby to her office where she tries to show them about coding, but tiny hands keep banging against her keyboard and while it’s adorable, she doesn’t want to have to get another one, so she brings the baby downstairs. they have a bottle and a cuddle on the couch, and when wandanat find her again, they’re both sound asleep with a cartoon muted in the background.

when coulson and may come back for their little one, wanda and natasha are quick to offer to babysit whenever it’s needed, eager to fill their camera rolls with more pictures of the two precious girls that have wormed a way into their hearts

RL Simself Story

Finally arrived at home after a long day at the hospital. N. & I had planned to see each other later, but we'll catch up on our date tomorrow. I was so tired... My family was exciting waiting for me at home. My Mom made dinner. She and Ana immediately wanted to see my Baby's first Ultrasound pic.

My Mom took my Baby's pic and hung it up on the wall next to Ana’s and my photo in a empty, nice frame, where Daniel's & my pic was before.😔 A nice gesture to show me, that she is happy about my Baby. Though the situation was still a bit tense. My Dad wasn’t upset or anything, but he usually didn’t say anything, when we talked about Nico's & my Baby. He was also happy for me, supported me and all this, but he was more reserved when it came to my pregnancy. He was worried about my Baby’s development & health due to the meds I was taking.🙁

After dinner I played with my cat. Ana & I constantly took pics of Lucky. He’s so cute, he really enjoed posing for us. Lucky loved it at my parent's place. He was so happy here. Meanwhile it became his new home.

I missed my room & my bed, while I was at my grandparents. Here it's just more comfortable for me. My bedding smelled wonderful. Soft & pleasantly fresh. Idk how my Mom does it, but she, her/our home and stuff, always smells perfect. I was even often asked at work by co-workers, who sat next to me in the office, what kind of nice smell this is on my clothes? Anyway! Even though I slept well, the next morning I didn't feel good.

I realized that I usually felt nauseous in the morning after waking up since I was pregnant. I had to eat something to get rid of my nausea. I just didn't know that yet at that time. My Mom heard me in the bathroom. I coughed and choked, my stomach was empty but my body still reflexively tried to throw up. Anyone who’s ever been pregnant knows what I mean. However, after I was.... done, I was totally exhausted but I felt a relief. As I washed my hands, my Mom came to me in the bathroom. She immediately started scrubbing the toilet.😅🤦‍♀️She's such a neat FREAK!

Me: Mom? What are you doing? I was just about to clean the toilet.

Mom: It's ok. You can take a shower so you will still have enough time for breakfast before going to work. I just wanna help you... I know how you feel rn. It's.... not fair.

Me: Not fair? What do you mean?

Mom: Well, having a child... Everything always stucks with us women. Pregnancy, delivery and even later. But you're not alone, A. Your Dad are there.

Me: I know. Thanks. But N. will help me too. He wants that.

Mom: Why isn’t he with you? He promised to be there for you. But to me it seems... Nico doesn’t add anything to all this. I mean... your Baby will need a room, a bed, a stroller and many other little things. Like I said, your Dad and I will handle all this. But I think Nico or his parents should add something too. They are doing a lot better financially than us, A. I hope you don’t get me wrong. I don’t want to argue with you or him. But you should tell his Mom. They need to know you’re pregnant. He will soon have to go abroad again. His parents should also help a bit.

Me: You're right! I'm gonna talk to him later. But about N. & me, you're wrong! It was my fault.

Mom: When he was sleeping with you, he didn’t mind you being married. Now that it’s getting serious, you’re pregnant, he suddenly got doubts?

Me: Yea, that's right. He'd say I failed him. He trusted me, but I hesitated with the divorce. You know?

Mom: Look, I’m staying out of your.... relationship. But some important details, you should make clear to him!... For Nico nothing has really changed. He will continue to play soccer, live abroad and you will be here alone with your child. Make sure he will support you financially! Tell his family, A.!

And again, my Mom was right! 🙁I'll be here alone. I have to sort all these things out with him. We don’t have much time left. Only 2 months! In September he has to go back abroad.

A couple things I’ve done, The Inner World deserves so much better 🙁

It’s a good game that has so much potential, unfortunately it wasn’t so popular

🔆Lol some spoilers ahead(just me info dumping and ranting)🔆

The series would’ve been fire too, I want to see the sillies being silly in their world of soil. I want to know more about the world and it’s lore, like the lore was pretty solid but it had some slight issues. Though I didn’t notice them till I played both games about 7 times back and forth.

I also want to know more about Conroy and Emil, I get that they’re the bad guys and all but I wanna know about their life.

We know about Robert’s, him being taken as a baby after conroy ‘killed’ (well they weren’t really killed now were they?) off the dynasty and never being able to leave the palace while also being neglected by conroy, and we know about Laura’s too, her being hidden under the Mechatre plotting the death of conroy while also trying to find her dad yada yada alright we know that good stories 10/10, but what about the bad guys.

What we know about Conroy is that he was supposedly an orphan along with the other two Windmonks (how Mama Dola found them is beyond me) and that they were all raised in the mountains, specifically the Shovel Mountains, so basically they were brothers. We don’t know what their lives were like during that time or how they were raised in those mountains or anything really. I guess at one point Conroy was just like “Ottilie’s mad fine tbh” and Y’know…did the DEED, that scandalous Windmonk… but I understand him I mean Ottilie IS fine asf.

Fast forward Conroy wants to implement the death penalty for giggles and the king says no, so Conroy says “fuck you” and plans world domination which includes having Reminepo (Laura’s father duh) build ‘wind gods’ AKA Basylians. Y’know the deal, boom boom you’re stone and you’re stone and you’re stone and OO look a baby mine now fuck all of you FFFFFFFFFFFFFFLOOTnoses.

And some small notes I found is that Conroy dabbles in Art (which I think he displays in the throne room as you see down the hallway with all the abstract art but I’m not sure), he keeps plants on windowsills specifically the spiky ones, he takes knock out pills when he can’t sleep or is feeling lonely (poor guy), he hates fosfoses AND tumblemice calling them evil (dawg..) but loves his killer hedgehog Fonk (I do too but make it make sense), I did have more but while I was writing this a friend texted and when I texted back I forgot what I was gonna write for this but in conclusion Conroy is a LOSERMAN despite his narcissistic, good-doer image.

Now Emil is kinda difficult, we know that he tumbled down a windfountain as a child (he was probably a toddler when he fell despite his brother saying he was a baby) and we don’t know HOW he survived the fall but he did and ended up in front of the wacky stuff store where he was taken in by his adoptive parents, whom are unnamed, and his brother, who also doesn’t have a name (well, more so everyone forgot what his name was) but is referred to as Emil’s Brother, Emil probably had a good childhood seeing how he has a photo of him and his family in his office which is shown on the bookshelf he has. They look pretty happy to me, besides Emil, born emo.

Someway he heard about conroy and absolutely Fell head over heels (there’s no way he’s straight. Look at him. Plus that time when he said he’ll NEVER be as attractive as Conroy.

It’s like that “I’m not gay but damn” “you don’t have to be gay to appreciate a man’s beauty.” “Nah bro I’d FUCK you”)

Then he got all Conroy obsessed, like really obsessed. Killer obsessed (he’s so real.) Anyways somehow someway he showed up with a mob of asposians to the wind chapel, WHICH MAY I REMIND YOU. WAS DEEP WITHIN THE ROOT FOREST? HOW’D HIS ASS GET THERE AND WHAT WAS THE REASON HE WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, anyways he saw conroy’s remains and was like “NOOOOOOOO THE SOON-TO-BE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS DEAD. you dirty flutenoses KILLED him 😾” “😯” boom bam bang flutenoses are hated, conroyalism is a thing yada yada deedoo yknow what happens at the end.

Some small notes of Emil is that he can get so obsessed with something that it scares people well that’s what his brother says (again, he’s so real), apparently he didn’t have friends if not a couple of them so he was probably lonely in childhood but he still had a good life with his adoptive family, he didn’t really choose to be alone though he did try to fit in but I guess him wanting everything to be orderly and wanting little to no fun drove people away, alright we get it. You’re OBSESSED with conroy. I mean cmon you have him everywhere, your office is filled with it, the wacky stuff store has a whole shelf dedicated to him, you’re spending the rest of your life for one thing only and that’s to be Conroy’s second hand man.

Istg he’s in love with Conroy there definitely is some hints of fruit in him.

And one last thing on the small notes, Emil is scary good at sculpting stuff and building, he’s spent 2-3 years on the cable car sculpture thing, in his office he has a model of Conroy’s palace on display sitting on the bookshelf, this means he could technically put conroy back together and revive him. But he’d have to figure out how, I mean conroy did shatter into tiny pieces.

I think that’s all I wanted to dump for now, but I’m very passionate about TIW and will do anything for that series. If you put in enough effort, you could find a way to make TIW 3 filled with new critters and characters. Though this is all fantasy, I know that there will never been another TIW nor will the series ever be released unless a miracle happens. But I’m keeping it realistic so my mind doesn’t build up hope that shouldn’t be there.

None the less even fanart that was made years ago makes me sob tears of joy, maybe one day TIW will get more recognition and the love it deserves.

author’s note: caught a bad case of tojitis and the doc said this is the only way i can get rid of it 🙁

“‘m sorry princess.” toji said as he wiped the fat tears that rolled down your cheeks.

he couldn’t blame you for being upset—you were carrying his child for gods sake which meant that your hormones were all out of shape from trying to make sure this child wasn’t as fucked up as he was. he rubbed your back soothingly trying to get you to calm down as your shoulders bobbed up and down, clearly still upset. toji had researched pregnancy symptoms soon after he found out you were expecting but he didn’t expect them to be this…severe.

“I’ll buy you another one princess, i promise.” he squeezed your hand gently as an act of reassurance. “let’s just get out of the way we’re causing a scene.” he motioned to the crowd that gathered around you both, clearly interested in the drama between a man and his pregnant wife. one quick glare from toji was all it took for the bystanders to begin minding their own business again.

“it’s not gonna be the same.” you hiccuped, wiping the tears and snot away with a tissue as toji led you away to a quiet area. just thinking about the ice cream almost made you emotional again. “why did your fat hands have to knock my ice cream onto the ground!” you balled up his shirt in your fists before you started crying again. “it’s a hot summer day and im sweating buckets—that was the only thing i was looking forward to!” you cried out. “what did my ice cream do to you!”

“nothin’ mama i’ll go buy you a new one right now.”that seemed to calm you down for a brief minute. you looked up at him with starry eyes and toji couldn’t get over how beautiful you looked at this moment. “you will? do you remember what ice cream truck it was from?” toji stilled for a brief second before giving you a soft smile. “of course i do baby.”

toji definitely didn’t remember where the ice cream was and he definitely wasn’t gonna try and play with your tastebuds by buying ice cream from a similar ice cream stand. he knew how refined your palate had become since becoming pregnant which made it crucial that he’d find the right spot. after running around the busy streets like a headless chicken he found the ice cream truck and despite not being religious, he thanked whoever was above before quickly fishing out some money to pay for the ice cream.

he walked back to you with two ice creams, handing you the less melted one. you thanked him and ate your ice creams in silence watching the world go on around you. “thank you.” you said as you rested your head on his shoulder, cradling your bump. “i may have exaggerated a teensy bit about the ice cream.” you replied coyly moving from your position to face him.

“you don’t say.” he replied sarcastically, leaning in for a kiss but he stopped right before your lips met. “you’re unbelievable.” he whispered softly against your lips before he kissed you, the coldness of the ice cream still present on his lips making you shudder. you pulled away with a soft grin, “i know, that’s why you married me in the first place.” you held up your hand, showing the beautiful yet blinding ring he got for you.

“well, i hope our baby doesn’t get your dramatic tendencies.” he grumbled, as he took your hand in his once again rubbing soft circles on your palm. “yeah? and i hope that our baby doesn’t get your grumpiness.” you retort back sticking your tongue out at him.

“oh so this is how we’re gonna play this baby?” he smirked at you before resting his hand on your growing bump. “well i hope our baby comes out happy, healthy and knows that they have two loving parents that would die for them.” he replied back kissing your bump. your heart bloomed at his confession and you could feel the waterworks coming in but you managed to blink them away.

“it seems like marriage has made you soft old man.” you teased him running your fingers up and down his arm. “shut up.” he said softly before placing a light kiss on your temple.

WIP’S:

She’s a Genshin insert i made, I’m not sure what to do with her now that I don’t play the game much🙁 I named her Mari (ik, so original...!) and I designed her character to be about light and life. Her character corresponds with the next character, who im going to Name Ezra for the sake of not confusing anyone.

She’s a hydro polearm user, and is usually found in Sumeru and Liyue. She frequents any gardens or botanical areas found by Ezra, and is usually baking or doing other domestic things for her friends. Def the type to make her fighting really graceful tbh..She’s the more friendly one of the two, and is seen more frequently in public compared to the other.

Another genshin oc (😭😭). I made it that he was a sort of god or spirit of death. As l said before, his name is Ezra. I wanted him and Mari to appear as polar opposites, but actually be really close. Almost sort of a yin yang type of thing. He's more of a shut in, and can be found looking after the plants & wildlife for Mari while she is gone.

I Imagined he would be an electro swords user, but I never actually got into his character as much as I'd like to. As said before, Mari likes to bake) & is found baking for her friend frequently. His favorite dish of hers is the flan, and in return for making him food, he looks out for the animals & special plants she is especially fond of. He's never seen by the public, as some have said that seeing his true appearance drive even the purest souls mad (so edgy!!! & emo 😍!!)

He’s also naked in like all of the drawings I have of him since I never came up with a costume design for him or anything

My twisted prefect and Ruggie bc I’m in love with that furry and that furry only!!! (Tbh during this time was when my art was at its peak, but this one just wasn’t it..😣)

TEAM TIME TRAVEL! So it seems Bart really has gone off into the time stream without telling anyone… that’s probably not gonna end well. 😬

Here's the thing I realised - they haven't actually travelled through time - they're travelled through space haven’t they? - So does the treadmill allow them to travel at super speeds to wherever they want to go instead of just whenever?

Lor does not look well 🤢 (It just occurred to me that mantis drags him out of the ship so he can recharge in the sun and get better - awww)

This whole scone of everyone wanting an exploration and Metron being like - there's no time - is reminiscent of fate&Co. trying to track down Child

"Lor-zod owes Mantis a dept twice over, thank you bug, I underestimated you" - Lor shows respect towards Mantis and acknowledgement of his own misjudgements.

"So we are trapped in the present" “yes, like the rest of the universe!" M'comm seems a lot more frustrated by the loss of the time sphere than Lor does - I really think M’comm had his own desires for it/has his own plan brewing.

"So these thieve are trapped on this world, in this time period?" - Mirrors Chameleon boy’s phrasing about Bart’s being "the only true spacetime expert in this era, on this planet."

"Foraging on a new world world be an awfully big adventure" - So I have been racking my brain trying to work out who's said that phrase before - I finally googled it and realised it was from Peter Pan - "To live/die would be an awfully big adventure"… now I’m wandering if it’s supposed to be a Peter Pan reference? I guess there's the questioning of whether to stay in the place you know or escape to this new land of wonder to be with the one that's captured your heart.

Hundreds of criminals? so is there more Kryptonians then what we’ve seen - because there didn't seem to be that many - or does Metron/Tomar-Re not actually know how many there are?

"Yes Metron, you eventually got around to it" I love Orion’s disdain for Metron

LIGHTRAY!

Rocket acknowledging Orion's needs and checking if he'll be okay without the comfort/support Mother box provides him - she's thinking about him without judging or criticising him. Also the fact that she doesn't react defensively to his "I AM FINE!" outburst shows her change in attitude towards him - She understandably shows shock but she doesn't give her signature death stare or strike back with the same aggression.

Oh no Jay! A part of me thought we might get a moment of Bart seeing Jay in trouble and going in to help him - but when I realised Bart wouldn’t be speaking this episode that idea was quickly scrapped and I went back to expecting Jay’s return to an empty house.

"Then Forage must go help Flash" Every time I hear this line I think Forager is talking about himself - but he’s actually saying Forager you will save Flash while I will cover you - he doesn't just claim the heroic save because it was his plan - also it shows his strategic thinking as he knows he has the defensive training making him better suited to deal with Mantis

I was right about it being Lightray Who said 'the spawn of Darkseid' line! Though it really doesn't sound like the same voice, which I guess plays into the fact its a false projection of him.

Also I didn't pick up on this until I saw some else point it out - but M'comm targets Rocket because he read her dislike of Orion last episode and so thought he could use that to pit them against each other - but it turns out he misjudged the hope she had to truly see Orion. Hope wins out over rage.

I did not expect Tomar-re to get the story he got but I’m here for it - calling back to his regrets for not saving Krypton

The emphasis on Ursa a not being summoned makes me think there's a reason Lor didn't also summon her - I know there's a chance the projector can probably only release one at a time - but could Lor not have asked for both and then let the Projector find them then released them one at a time? That’s my thinking at least

it's so interesting hearing the emotion in Zods voice - he's as desperate as anyone else to escape the Phantom zone - despite all the composure and control he's been showing around Conner and his followers - there's desperation, joy, hope as he inches towards freedom - it speaks to how truly hellish the Zone is to everyone

No Forager & Forager!!

When I was first watching this episode - I was So Confused with what just happened to Forager’s arm! Like I thought she broke it or something sinister - I was like, is this a good thing or a bad thing - because it doesn’t sound great!?

Tomar-Re's attempt at venting the pilar of fire whilst shield himself mirrors Mera's attempts to deal with Child’s pilar of fire in 415 - of course she had Kaldur to support her unlike Tomar-Re... So, I did not expect Tomar-Re to get killed - I saw a post last week talking about how he went blind in the comic trying to protect those he watches over - so I though something like that might happen - but no - he Lor kill him in order to avoid failing another planet. I did not expect an actual arc for Tomar but it worked well - I am very sad that he's dead but glad he found some comfort knowing made up for his mistake. That final smile as he hears he's succeeded is heartbreaking!

You beat his ass Orion! Show him just what focused Rage can do!

Team work makes the dream work - Rocket & Orion - the new dynamic duo!

FORAGER'S A GREEN LANTERN! That's SO COOL! (hey, she wearing green - Like Peter Pan!) So interestingly, I hade the thought last episode after Mantis Save Lor and M'comm - What if a bug became a Green lantern - because they’ve shown some serious will power throughout the time we’re known then. So I feel rather vindicated now Forager has become a green lantern.

You go Forager! Take that box thing down!

I really like the Slow mo as Saturn Girl realises Conner and Phantom girl are in the phantom zone but its too late to stop the blasts and all she can do is wake phantom girl up... can Phantom girl travel the phantom zone? I assume she got them in there so will she be able to get them out again?

I also like the shot of Rocket noticing, though not realising, what's going on - I'm looking forward to seeing this come back up again, as I'm sure it will, later as they start connecting the dots on what going on.

That is not a happy Kryptonian and I am now very worried for team time travel… and speaking of angry Kryptonians, I don’t think Zods gonna be too happy with Conner for delaying his escape and costing him his chance of freedom

I'm presuming Saturn Girl was knocked out by the shock of Lor ripping a hole through bioship - the some way it effects M’gann whenever bioship is hurt.

Bart is trapped on the ship with an angry kngptoniar and an insane Martian - I am very worried for our young speedster right now!

Rocket checking in with Orion after putting himself in a situation she knows he doesn't enjoy - and Orion answering without biting her head off shows how they're both final seeing each other eye to eye. Step aside Conner & Bear - we have a new budding friendship in town - Rocket & Orion!

Oh the look of pain on Kilowog’s face both when coming through the boom tube and carrying Tomar’s dead body breaks my heart! This worked well as a montage sequence - you could see the emotions of everyone in the shots - there weren’t too many and the shots used were effective in conveying what’s happening without words or movement

That time sphere is gonna come up again at some point

So another link to Peter Pan - they must remain parted as Forager returns home to Earth and Green Lantern Forager goes off to her Neverland - though still promising to visit Forager Wherever she can. Forage even gives her a book of all his favourite stories - similar to how Wendy would tell stories to the lostboys.

aww that final goodbye between Rocket and Orion is so heart warming - it didn't click the first time watching just how strong a moment it actually is... I don't really know how to explain what it is I'm thinking… but I guess it's Orion’s response that's so telling - for Rocket, she's come to terms with her misjudgment - she understands that a person is more than their flaws/differences, and mistakes do not define who they actually are. She understands that and can accept Orion as her ally. Orion acknowledges her respects and returns his own by first proclaiming his gratitude then emphasising it by initiating physical contact in order to stop her and ensure she hears how important her respect is from his perspective. While she was parting as allies - he made sure she knew they parted as friend…(I’ve no clue if any of that make sense or actually conveys what I mean… probably not - but I give up!)

'How did Zatanna convince you to do this?""By Swearing she would give us no peace until we complied" - I really wanna see the chaos that goes on inside the helmet for each of the wearers - I feel like nabu may have some regrets for agreeing to Zs proposal

I love how this looked to be a really epic moment in the trailer - but in the end nothing actually happens

Zatanna is putting SO much effort into all this - obviously it’s because she saw Conner calling out for help - but like, I am now so intrigued to know what will happen when Artemis finds out about Z & M’gann lying to her about Wallys goodbye. She now can't maintain the reason of not being able to find a lost soul - since all this proves she absolutely can and at the very least could have tried.

“Perhaps... or perhaps Conners not dead at all... And if he's not dead, then I don't need magic to find him... What I need, is a detective." An absolutely brilliant transition into the next are!

More Forager recites sharkespease... Its not like I went into this arc with any expectations - but I certainly didn’t expect to be leaving it with Forager falling in love and now being in a committed long distance relationship with his green lantern Forager girlfriend.

I now have the answer to my question about the previous credits - it was purple Forager in the shot while our Forager spoke about her, while this week its our Forager in the shot while purple Forager speaks of him. (I shouldn't have been as confused as I was.)

Another truly great episode and one of the best arc finales for a long time - for me this one really kept its pace and energy up throughout with plenty of action and emotional beats. This may be my favourite arc yet! I am so excited for what’s to come in the final arc with Dick and really hoping for some good Bart content as the hunt is now on to find both him and Conner before it’s too late!

are you named after anyone? No, I don’t think so. I think my dad just didn’t like my almost-name and liked the idea of me being “victorious”. Turns out the only way I’ve lived up to my name is by owning a bunch of dolls, wanting to be treated like a Queen and wanting to meet my Albert.

when was the last time you cried? um. In the shower about a week ago? I had to euthanize my 15 year old dog and I was suddenly struck by the grief of her loss since she’s been in my life for so long.

“B,” Arleigh is a mixture of pouting and pure joy when Beau stomps up the porch steps with a black and white ball of fluff. “What is that?”

“This,” he hands the wad of curls over to Arleigh with a smile, “is a Portuguese Water Dog.”

“You got a dog? Oh she’s beautiful! B, what are you going to name her?”

Beau looks over this tiny little woman. He’s never done this so he’s nervous, scared, and isn’t sure how to approach how he bought the dog for her. For them. “Oh, and her is gonna love playing in the water aren’t you? What are you going to call her?”

“I want you to name her,” is the first thing that comes to Beau’s mind. Almost wanting to slap himself when Arleigh’s face falls.

“You don’t think it’s going to be awkward when you get a girlfriend? Like are you going to tell her that the girl you started fucking in the summer named your dog?” she tries to fake a smile, but quickly looks down at the dog. Refusing to look into those bright green eyes of Beau’s. Feeling her heartbreak in a thousand pieces.

“Arleigh. Arleigh, look at me,” she looks up at him, and that’s when he sees the glossiness in her eyes. “What girlfriend? What girlfriend, Bun?”

“You’ll get one to share this cabin with.”

“We’re still playing this game,” he sighs looking at her. “This is my fault.”

“Beau, we’re friends. This is a summer fling.”

“I don’t want another girl at this cabin, but you. We can continue not labeling ourselves, or we can quit being dumb, and tell everyone you’re my girlfriend, and we’re remodeling this cabin for us, I’m tired of this, Bun. Arleigh Grace Everett-Levinson, say it. Tell me you feel it too. I got the dog for us. Our first animal on this future farm. Please just say you feel it too.”

“B,” she whispers, tilting her head to the side.

“I love you. I told you back in Delaware I was falling. I fell. Fell hard, and I love you. This,” holding his hands out he spins around, and looks back at the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen. “This can be our home but I need you to…”

“I love you” she scrunches up her nose and giggles. With a couple of steps forward, she stands on her tippy toes to give him a last kiss, until their first child barks at them. “She looks like a Remy.”

Laying on her stomach, Arleigh pats around on the bed and finds no Beau. Sitting up she looks at the foot of the bed, and no Remy. Carefully walking out of the loft and on the porch she sees Beau standing outside with the dog.

Giggling when she hears a faint, awful British accent. “Lady Remington, thou hath bit my toes, and drove me yonder. No thou must pee so we can walketh back to bed.”

The dog just stares up at Beau and sneezes, “Blessed be, fair maid. I need thou to pee. Tis getting colder in the eve, and I miss my other fair maiden. Lady Remington, I need,” Beau pauses when he hears the snort of Arleigh, him and Remy slowly turn to look at her giggling face and scrunchy nose. “You heard nothing.”

“I hath heardeth everythingeth.”

“Lady Remington, me doth think the fair maiden is making fun of us,” with another sneeze Remy turns to walk towards Arleigh. “Oh no, she has to pee.”

“Turn around. She’s a lady,” Beau spins his body around, and Remy gives a quick look to him before trotting off for a perfect place. “Good girl, Remy. Now shall we take the gentleman back upstairs or is that un-lady like?”

“Arleigh Grace, you and the dog are not allowed to conspire against me!” Arleigh picks up the puppy and starts to walk inside. “Arleigh! Bunny! I will sleep in the loft with my girlfriend!”

“Then my boyfriend better hurry and keep me warm!”

what is it about gristol that trips your trigger, so to speak?

What do I like about Gristol? A lot!

Firstly, his design. (This isn't that unique to him, as I love the designs of Psychonauts characters in general.) I like that he's so... ordinary. So many of the characters are so tall! (Why is Loboto 9 ft tall!?) And some of the characters are really thin. (Where does Milla keep her organs?) But Gristol has a gut (until he's dressed as the gzar🙁) and is balding, which kind of lulls you into a false sense of security. He doesn't look creepy or menacing like Loboto or Maligula. He's just a guy.

Then there's his voice, courtesy of Elijah Wood❤️ I really enjoyed his singing voice during "Grulovia, Grulovia," the sadness in his voice when he tells Raz that his dad died, and the goofy voice he has when brainless.

Which brings me to brainless Nick! Brainless Nick is very entertaining as he stumbles around the mail room. I especially enjoy picking him up with telekinesis and hearing him say "air mail?"

And his animation! (Again, not that unique to him, as I like the animation in general.) Look at the above gif for his floppy animation I adore so much. But I'm also a fan of expressive hand movement, such as he has here:

Side note: He opens that booth with a little flourish! He sure can be dramatic! Made his body a good fit for Helmut.😆

I also really like Gristol's duality. He can be adorable at times but then again he's equally sinister. Just look at how quickly he can switch between these! (And there's more of that hand animation I like.)

The other villains/antagonists in Psychonauts just don't have that same kind of duality, imo. Oleander has moments where he's sad (bowling alley) or having the time of his life (cruise ship), but he still seems like the same "drill sergeant" guy he's trying to be. Same with Loboto, who gets plenty of evil bits (turtle soup) and sad bits (not employee of the year), but again, most of his lines are still just "wacky dentist man." Lucy/Maligula is the one who I'd say comes closest to this duality, but Maligula is set up more as a separate personality and one she can't control, whereas Nick is a facade put on by Gristol and his switching between emotions is a conscious choice.

Real quick: I'm not hating on any of the other characters or actors who play them! I think they're all really great!

I guess the last thing I want to talk about is his backstory and personality. It's very easy to write him off as just a spoiled brat (I mean, yeah, he was spoiled and he probably was a brat as a child but stay with me), but I think if you look at things from his point of view, you can see that he is the way he is now because of his upbringing.

The conversations between Raz and Gristol when in Gristol's mind are quite revealing as to what Gristol sees as normal. Gristol tells Raz that he's homeless and Raz (rightfully) tells him the room isn't so bad. But Gristol lived in a palace before this. That's why the room feels like such a downgrade to him. Plus, he did have to leave his home! As someone who had to leave their home as a child, I can relate to how Gristol must feel about it. In the past, I've been upset with my mom for making us move so far away, though not nearly as strongly as he was with his dad.

He also seems to think the gzar is elected? No clue where that came from, but that means he thought his dad was a good enough ruler for people to pick him and that the protesters were a minority, and so he probably believes that the citizens would have voted for him if they hadn't left Grulovia. And he can't see Maligula as a villain because she saved him from being attacked by adults. (Why were the adults attacking a child anyway?)

Anyway, the point I'm making with the above three paragraphs is that I think there's some good arguments for saying that he's the way he is because he was raised to be like that; sheltered from reality and spoiled rotten. He even partially admits that he was wrong about some things. (Not a very sincere apology though). I do think that with some actual therapy - not a 10 year old just running around punching things - he could learn to be a decent person. I like the depth his character has.
