I know it is trying to be emotionally resonate and the flute is pretty but...#It really does have the energy of âOkay thanks for listening to my tragedies and traumas. I don't know how to segue out of this.â#This madam lan design is inspired by Qourmet's design! Really good stuff that I was not able to do more with in this one panel.#Speaking of...I know it is ambiguous on purpose and we are only told what happened through LXC's POV but...#I always interpreted madam lan's passing as a suicide. I think LXC was told it was illness to soften the blow.#She was stuck in a house with maybe a servant coming by to give her food. One day a month she saw her children.#Of course she was warm and loving in their memories-#She was trying to give them a version of her that would be remembered as such. She wanted to protect them from the truth.#She did her best but she was already dead a long time ago. She must have felt like a ghost haunting a house.#Love to her was waiting. And both her boys inherited that view of love.

#art#twisted wonderland#twisted wonderland spoilers#twisted wonderland episode 7 spoilers#twisted wonderland book 7 spoilers#they are truly the most inspiring love story of our generation#though i guess he's not dr. zigvolt since zigvolt is the clan name...#unless he took her name which i absolutely could see. why would you ever not want to be called zigvolt.#this does tie nicely in with my headcanon that sebek's siblings got more of the fae features than he did#and he has a Complex about it#i get the impression that sebek's siblings are much closer in age to each other and also have more of their dad's chill#so sebek is sort of the baby of the family and he's got a Complex about that too#i think a lot about the zigvolt family for characters who have never actually appeared#on the subject of actual canon though#i do actually really appreciate that both sebek and silver each had a little moment of reassuring each other#that this is 400 years ago and also incredibly unfortunate circumstances#and present-day reality lilia and baul love them very much#(i do think sebek is secretly baul's favorite grandkid)#it was just nice to see! especially from sebek! he is sometimes a very thoughtful boy and it's always nice to see that side of him#sebek trying SO hard to get baul to like him though đ#and lilia being like 'aw i think you're getting kind of fond of him :)'#i love. In one of your recent Malevolent drawings you drew Arthur and John being tied by a thread around their necks and since everything in your designs has some sort of a meaning like Johnâs cracks, I was wondering what meaning that has?

So, youïżœïżœïżœll notice that both the cracks and the threads only appear on Johnâs design after episode 26
I drew this quick guide after episode 28 so this was after we the audience learned about the existence of Kayneâs deal with John.
The idea is that initially, while Arthur and John were âboundâ it was accidental, messy, not necessarily part of anyones plan. Since they were separated and now reunited, their bond has gotten stronger. Their relationship is no longer unintentional, they are tied together on purpose.
(Whether those wires appeared as a natural representation of their relationship when John came back, or someone else put them there to make sure they stay bound good and tight, wellâŠJohn is definitely tied up in more ways then one now, isnât he?)
(Another quick note because design is a constant process, initially I had the wires only around Johnâs neck, but I decided I didnât like how that looked and it worked better with what I was trying to represent if they went around both, so if you see that in earlier artwork donât think anything of it)

Caught a quick glimpse of inspiration for them and then it settled again haha - but they're here now!#Following up on the idea of their give and take - Ishida is definitely the more selfish of the two and Micchan the more giving#You'd think that'd lead to them overstepping - Ishi asking for too much and Mitsu being all-too-happy to grant it but no!#Part of that is from Micchan being in therapy lol - even when he has trouble recognizing his healthy boundaries himself he has external help#And him being honest and upfront - communicating where he struggles - eventually puts the onus on his boyfriend to help him!#And he does!! Because Ishida loves him!! â„#They're still weird about it tho lol <3 There are things that both of them can get away with that they wouldn't if they were dating others#Featured here is Mitsu initiating snuggles and Ishida reciprocating a little aggressively lol - which Micchan is into <3 Feels loved!#And also flusters him so he responds with his own cute aggression lol - but they recognize that in each other!
