You Know You Love Me, Chapter 4 (Branjie) - Kiki

A/N: Not me thinking i could upload every three days lol sorry there was a bit of a wait for this chapter but college is attempting to kill me off on a daily basis. Regardless, hope you enjoy and chapter 5 should be up in a couple of days!

Summary: Brooke Lynn Hytes returns to New York City after being shipped off to boarding school and her ex best friend, Vanessa Mateo, isn’t too happy about it…which would be bad enough, but add in the fact that they’re lowkey in love with each other. (Gossip Girl AU)

The dim lights of Brooke’s dorm room reflected her mood almost perfectly. She was alive, yes. But she didn’t feel as alive as she used to. She didn’t feel the joy she used to feel when she was with Vanessa or the annoyance she used to feel when she’d fight with her mother. She just felt…numb.

Boarding school had not been what Brooke had expected. She thought it would be full of boring people from small towns in the middle of nowhere that she would have nothing in common with. So when she had actually made some pretty cool friends on her first day, she was surprised.

The girl she had become closest to was named Kameron. She was from Nashville and although Brooke had thought she was nothing but an extremely shy girl who never spoke the first few times they met, she had soon learned that once you got to know her, Kameron had an amazing personality. It also didn’t help that she was extremely hot, too.

They were lying on Brooke’s double bed passing a bottle of Don Julio tequila back and forth. Brooke Lynn had been shocked when Kameron had produced the large bottle from her bag, mostly because that particular brand was known to be very expensive, but also because she didn’t think Kameron was that kind of girl.

She had promised her mom that she would stay away from alcohol while she was there. That was one of the main reasons she was here, anyways. Her mom was concerned with her drinking habits. But one night couldn’t hurt, right?

Brooke Lynn knew she was a pretty girl and never really cared too much when guys hit on her (which happened often). But when girls hit on her, she was always shocked. Also confused. But mainly shocked. She had been picking up on Kameron’s little flirty comments every now and then. But she had been embarrassed by mistaking too many straight girls’ compliments for flirting in the past so she had learned to stop reciprocating anything until she knew for sure that the other girl was interested…and when she saw how Kameron was looking at her after a few shots, she knew for sure. Kameron was definitely interested.

Usually, something like this would excite Brooke. A hot girl liking her back? She had hit the ultimate lesbian jackpot. So why was she currently drunk crying about Vanessa?

“I just don’t know why I didn’t tell her I’m in love with her, Kam. I love her sooo much. Like, more than I’ve ever loved anything,” Brooke rambled on and on for a long time, not noticing how Kameron was frequently rolling her eyes whenever Brooke wasn’t looking. “And like, I know it wouldn’t work out because she’s so far in the closet and she probably won’t ever come out but Kam, I wanna be with her so bad.”

“Yeah, you’ve mentioned…” Kameron sounded annoyed as she took a large sip from the bottle. She had come here to seduce Brooke Lynn Hytes and so far, all she had got was Brooke whining about some girl she never even dated.

“And she’s so beautiful too. She’s got these gorgeous big brown eyes that could make you do whatever she wanted. And her hair is always so shiny and soft and it always smells like coconut and vanilla. And her skin is golden brown and so smooth and perfect. I miss her so much, Kameron.” Brooke started to sob uncontrollably, her face buried in her pillow.

Kameron patted her back awkwardly in an attempt to comfort the blonde but it was unsuccessful. She took another sip of the tequila and tried breathing deeply in an effort to calm herself down. She came here for one thing and one thing only…and if there’s one thing everyone should know about Kameron Michaels: she always gets what she wants.

A few moments had passed and Brooke stopped crying. She looked in the mirror in front of her and wiped the tears from her face, already seeming a lot more sober than she had just a few minutes ago. A blush crept up on her cheeks as she realised how stupid she must look in front of her new friend, but Kameron was just smiling innocently at her.

“I know it must be hard, B, but now that you’ve let it all out, you can try and move on.” Kameron said, touching Brooke’s forearm lightly.

Brooke narrowed her eyes in confusion at Kameron’s words. Move on? Why would she want to move on? She was in love with someone who might love her, or at the very least, like her back…shouldn’t that be something worth hanging onto?

“Sorry for ruining the night, Kam. I totally understand if you wanna leave—”

Kameron interrupted Brooke by crawling towards her and leaned in, invading Brooke’s personal space.

“The night isn’t over yet, Brooke,” she said with a devilish smirk on her face. “You need to focus on what’s right in front of you instead of being so worked up about someone who’s not even here.” Her hands went up to Brooke’s cheek and she lightly stroked her thumb across it.

“Kameron, I can’t do this with you…” Brooke said half-heartedly.

“Sure you can. You need a rebound and I’m happy to sacrifice myself to make you happy.” Brooke knew deep down that nobody, not even Kameron, would compare to Vanessa…but she felt so empty. Was it so bad for her to do something that could potentially make her feel something again? She knew it was most likely the tequila that was clouding her judgement. She knew she would never think of accepting Kameron’s offer if she was sober. But she did it anyway. Brooke placed her hand over Kameron’s and pulled her in slowly.

“If we do this, it’s a one-time thing.” Brooke whispered. Kameron nodded, seemingly not listening to her, and wrapped her arms around Brooke’s neck, pulling their bodies together as close as humanly possible. Their lips met and Brooke instantly noted that her lips weren’t as soft as Vanessa’s. The kiss was messy. It felt rushed and out of sync and Brooke wasn’t even sure if she wanted to keep going, but something deep down in her reminded her that this was the first time she’s felt anything in a long time. She could at least try and pretend that Kameron was Vanessa.

Kameron pushed Brooke down so she was lying on her back and straddled her waist. They continued making out at a fast pace while Kameron’s hands roamed Brooke’s body at a very quickly. As Kameron began to suck on her neck, Brooke knew that this would never happen with Kameron again.

The only thing that she felt was that she missed Vanessa even more. Trying to get over her was a stupid move. She didn’t think she would ever get over Vanessa, let alone have another chance to be with her…and nothing made her feel as sad as that realisation.

Now:

Spotted: Vanessa and Brooke having a day out on the town. These two trendsetters were seen in almost every boutique on the Upper East Side. Is there a special event coming up or were these two besties just reconnecting? Keep me updated. XOXO, Gossip Girl.

Brooke’s bedroom was filled with her two favourite things: Vanessa and shopping bags. It was their first day hanging out since Brooke Lynn had been back from boarding school. They were finally talking to each other again, they had kissed and made up and everything seemed to be going very well.

They had spent the day doing things that they used to do all the time. They got coffee and walked around in Central Park, they went shopping and spent a ton of their parent’s money and Brooke even surprised Vanessa with a trip to her favourite French restaurant since Brooke Lynn knew that Vanessa loved anything related to France.

There was a bit of an awkward energy between them but neither of them brought it up. Ever since they had kissed a couple of days ago, they hadn’t kissed again. It was all both of the girls had thought about since they went home that night and they both wanted to do it again, but the right moment hadn’t presented itself.

Sure, Brooke had thought about doing it when Vanessa brought her favourite coffee order (an iced americano with hazelnut syrup and oat milk). She had also contemplated doing it when they were in one of Vanessa’s favourite accessory stores and she was overwhelmed with how cute Vanessa was when she was visibly excited about the new headbands they had in stock.

Vanessa seemed to be having more trouble than Brooke was with physically restraining herself. All she wanted to do was make out with Brooke at any given moment throughout the day but she didn’t want to risk anyone seeing. The thought of people finding out she was gay terrified her…and she knew she would never forgive herself if the reason that people found out was because she was impulsive and couldn’t control herself around Brooke Lynn. She ended up having to calm herself down and settle for lingering touches and flirty looks thrown in Brooke’s direction, and they ended up having a lovely day that on the outside, made them look like any other normal teenage best friends.

Brooke was hanging some of the new clothing items she had just bought up in her closet while Vanessa was sitting on Brooke’s bed, making herself comfortable by laying back on the fluffy pillows and kicking her heels off.

“I forgot how damn comfy your bed is.” Vanessa said while removing her headband and snuggling up under the covers.

“And I forgot how often you used to fall asleep in my bed even though you claim to never be tired.” Brooke replied and Vanessa’s eyes shot open immediately.

“I’m not gonna fall asleep, I was just resting my eyes…” Vanessa said non-committedly while Brooke took her shoes off and got in the bed beside her.

“Sure you’re not, V…” Some of Vanessa’s hair had spread onto Brooke’s side of the bed so she began to stroke it. Vanessa sighed a deep sigh of contentment and tried to not let her eyes close. She hadn’t felt this relaxed in a very long time.

“I missed this.” Vanessa whispered as Brooke began to stroke her cheek.

“I missed you.” Brooke replied, earning a massive smile from Vanessa in return.

“So when are you gonna tell me all about boarding school?” Vanessa asked, leaning up on her elbow so that she was looking down at Brooke with an eyebrow raised. Brooke lay flat on her back and sighed.

“There’s not much to tell, really. I went to class, studied so they didn’t call my mom and tell her I was failing and the weather was awful. You would’ve hated it.”

“Hold up, am I hearing this right? You studied?” Vanessa asked with her mouth open in shock, which caused both of the girls to giggle.

“I had to, my mom made it super clear that if I didn’t get good grades, I wouldn’t be able to come back to New York so that was my motivation. Trust me, I hated every minute of it.”

“That’s the main reason she sent you there, right? Because of your grades?” Vanessa asked with a sad tone to her voice. Even though she had Brooke back in her life, she still hadn’t gotten over her leaving. She knew it would take time to fully heal, but she wished she could focus on enjoying her time with Brooke instead of focusing on when she wasn’t there.

“Yeah…that and the drinking. I also think she just wanted to live by herself for a bit and not have to worry about looking after a kid so she just shipped me off. I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner, to be honest.” Brooke was surprised with herself for revealing so much information without being asked. She hadn’t had a conversation with Vanessa for so long that she forgot how easy it was for them to open up to each other.

“I’m sure that’s not true, B…your mom loves you a lot.” Vanessa replied as she took Brooke’s hand in hers and stroked her thumb gently.

“I know…but sometimes her ways of dealing with things are a little bit shitty. Like, if I didn’t know any better I’d say she was a robot because of how emotionless she is.”

“You can say that again, my mom just jets off to Paris to avoid dealing with her shit here. And when things get bad over there, she comes back or goes to another European city. How did we end up with more emotional maturity than our parents?” Vanessa asked and Brooke laughed in response.

“You think that the two girls who didn’t talk to each other for an entire year due to stubbornness are emotionally mature?” Brooke continued to laugh and Vanessa rolled her eyes.

“Yeah, but at least we knew that was wrong. They don’t see any problems with what they’re doing.” She replied with a smug look on her face, knowing she was right.

“I guess you have a point there,” Brooke said as she pulled Vanessa closer to her so they could cuddle. “Have you seen your dad recently?”

“No…he said he was only going to France for a few months but…I don’t think he’s coming back anytime soon.”

“I’m sorry, V.” Brooke said as Vanessa’s head rested on her shoulder.

“It’s okay…I’m used to it,” Vanessa said quietly. She moved her head slightly up so that she was looking directly into Brooke’s eyes. Vanessa noticed how Brooke’s entire facial expression immediately softened as soon as they locked eyes and she started to feel overcome with emotion. “Just promise me you’ll never leave me again…” Vanessa whispered, still keeping eye contact with Brooke. Brooke let out a large exhale and cupped Vanessa’s cheek with her hand.

“I’ll never leave you, Ness. I promise.” Brooke said it with so much conviction that Vanessa was almost sure she would start crying, but she was unable to finish that thought as Brooke had leaned in to kiss her. The kiss was all consuming and managed to take Vanessa’s mind off of everything she had previously been worrying about. She allowed herself to focus solely on kissing Brooke Lynn, and she did it like her life depended on it.

2 years ago:

It was the fourteenth of December, one of Vanessa’s favourite nights of the winter season; the night of her infamous sleepover.

Teenage girls on the Upper East Side would make it their goal in life to get an invite to Vanessa Mateo’s sleepover. Even if they hadn’t been before, the stories they would have heard from other girls who had previously been had made the desire build in them and all they wanted was a chance to experience it for themselves.

Of course, getting an invite wasn’t that easy. Vanessa had extremely high standards and was very picky with who she let into her home. The only three people who had always managed to make the list every year were Brooke Lynn, Silky and Akeria. Other than that, the invite list changed drastically every year.

This year, there were ten girls in attendance, including Vanessa herself. They had just finished eating their three-course dinner and had prank called a ton of girls from school who had tried to get an invite but were unsuccessful. While Vanessa would have been happy to just sit around and gossip for a bit, Akeria had another idea that got all of the girls excited.

“Let’s play spin the bottle!” Akeria announced, already searching for something they could use as a makeshift bottle to play with. Vanessa noticed how her heart started to beat just a tiny bit faster, but she couldn’t let anyone know she was nervous. Not at her own party.

Akeria grabbed Vanessa’s reusable water bottle and instructed everyone to form a circle. Vanessa sat down on the floor beside Silky and Brooke Lynn grabbed a pillow from the couch and sat beside her.

Akeria started the first round of the game by spinning the bottle and it landed on Scarlet Envy, a very popular older student from their school. Scarlet seemed to not care about the game at all and leaned into the circle, grabbed Akeria’s face and kissed her forcefully and quickly. The girls all laughed and then it was Scarlet’s turn to spin.

It landed on Yvie, her best friend, and they had a quick make out session which ended up with Scarlet’s notorious red lipstick smudging down her face. It was Yvie’s turn next and as the bottle was spinning around in a circle, Vanessa saw it start to slow down as it made its way towards her. She held her breath as it moved slowly and started to mentally prepare herself with the awkwardness of kissing Yvie but to her surprise, the bottle landed on Brooke Lynn. Vanessa squeezed her first’s together in anger and tried to compose herself. On the outside, she looked fine. But on the inside, she was insanely jealous.

Yvie leaned in and gave Brooke a quick peck on the lips which made both Scarlet and Vanessa happy. It seemed as though the kiss was over before it began. Brooke sat up and grabbed the bottle, spinning it gracefully and sitting back down to wait to see who it landed on. Vanessa mentally cursed the bottle each time it passed her. She didn’t want to throw a tantrum at her own party but she really didn’t want to see Brooke kissing other girls. She just didn’t need that mental image in her mind.

It had been a few weeks since they had first kissed while studying at Brooke’s house and ever since then, they had been making out every chance they got when no one else was around. Brooke Lynn had even arrived earlier than all of the other girls just so they could make out before everyone else got there. Vanessa had somehow become addicted to Brooke and they had been spending way more time together than usual. While Vanessa was slightly scared about how much closer they had gotten in just a couple of weeks, it excited her way more.

Vanessa was suddenly brought back to reality when she heard Akeria and Silky screaming excitedly. She looked up from her daydreaming and saw that the bottle was pointing directly at her. She looked at Brooke who was sitting beside her with a devilish grin on her face. She raised her eyebrow and nodded at the bottle on the floor.

“Shall we?” Brooke asked and Vanessa nodded dumbfoundedly. She was about to kiss Brooke in front of people. What if people could tell that she was enjoying it? She wasn’t ready for people to know that she liked girls yet. She didn’t know if she would ever be ready.

Suddenly all of her thoughts were shut down because Brooke Lynn had leaned in, grabbed her face with both hands and started to kiss her. It wasn’t a particularly long kiss, Scarlet and Yvie’s had probably lasted longer, but it was enough for Vanessa to be left with a deep red blush on her cheeks.

As Vanessa tried to regain her composure, Brooke shared a knowing look with her and winked.

“I think Vanessa’s a little bit shook after her first lesbian kiss, everyone!” Silky said loudly which made everyone laugh, including Brooke, although she was laughing for a whole other reason. This did nothing to help Vanessa’s red cheeks which somehow got even redder. She felt extremely embarrassed, but was also on a bit of a high from the kiss.

She rolled her eyes at Silky’s comment and tried to get her control of the room back. She wouldn’t let herself be outdone or look like a loser in her own home. She took a small breath in and immediately her false sense of confidence was back and her bitch face was on.

“Shut up, Silky. It wasn’t even that good anyway.” She added with a wink thrown back in Brooke’s direction. Brooke seemed genuinely shocked at Vanessa’s comment but just narrowed her eyes and kept eye contact with Vanessa who had a guilty smile on her face.

The game went on for a few more rounds. Vanessa ended up being pecked on the cheek by Akeria and much to her own satisfaction, Brooke didn’t have to kiss anyone else. Once the game was all finished up, Vanessa made her way up to her bedroom to sit down for a minute. She needed to recharge her social battery so she could continue playing the role of the perfect hostess. What she didn’t anticipate was that Brooke had followed her upstairs.

Vanessa sat down on the armchair in the corner of her room when Brooke walked in. Brooke immediately walked over to where Vanessa was sitting and knelt on the floor in front of her. She had her hands placed on Vanessa’s thighs and stared at her, not saying a word.

“Hey, B…” Vanessa said quietly, squirming under Brooke’s intense stare. Brooke took a lock of Vanessa’s hair in her hand and began to twirl it around as she leaned in even closer.

“Not that good, huh?” Brooke asked.

“What?..” Vanessa didn’t know what she was talking about. Brooke was invading her space so much that she couldn’t focus on anything other than the blonde’s presence.

“The kiss. You said it wasn’t that good,” Brooke stated simply as she pulled back completely to look directly into Vanessa’s eyes. Vanessa was disappointed at the lack of contact and looked back at Brooke with needy eyes. She tried her best to form a sentence but her brain wasn’t functioning properly. “No words, huh?”

“I…didn’t mean it?” Vanessa tried her best to sound confident as she spoke but ended up not being able to say her words with conviction. Brooke leaned her arm in and stroked Vanessa’s cheek and smiled.

“That’s what I thought. I seem to remember us kissing like twenty times earlier and I didn’t hear any complaints.” Brooke said confidently, raising her eyebrow at Vanessa, who seemed to shrink under her gaze.

“I’m not complaining, B, I promise…” Vanessa whispered back, placing her own hand over the hand that was on her face. Brooke leaned in extremely close to Vanessa’s face but didn’t kiss her, their mouths were less than an inch apart but Brooke Lynn didn’t move. As soon as Vanessa tried to lean in and kiss her, Brooke pulled back.

“I don’t think so, babe. You can kiss me again when you’ve earned my forgiveness.” Brooke said with a grin as she slowly walked out of the room and joined the other girls’ downstairs, leaving Vanessa sitting by herself in her armchair, turned on and disappointed.

Now:

After they had made out for a while, the two girls fell asleep in Brooke’s bed. Brooke was laying on her back while Vanessa had her arm wrapped around Brooke’s waist, her leg thrown over her body and her head was resting on Brooke’s chest.

Brooke was the first to wake up. She started to stroke Vanessa’s back softly and placed small, gentle kisses on her forehead. Vanessa’s eyes began to flutter as she woke up and immediately made eye contact with Brooke. The two of them had massive smiles on their faces as they woke up together.

“Hey.” Brooke said, her voice raspy from just waking up.

“Hi.” Vanessa whispered softly as she wrapped her arm tighter around Brooke’s waist. They continued cuddling in silence for a bit before Brooke got up, with a lot of protests from Vanessa, and opened up the curtains. It was only six o’clock in the evening so it was still a bit bright out, the sun was only beginning to set. She got back into bed and her arms immediately found themselves wrapping around Vanessa’s body.

“We should go to the park tomorrow. Spend the whole day together.” Brooke suggested and Vanessa’s face lit up in delight.

“Can we have a picnic?” Vanessa asked excitedly. Brooke nodded in agreement and Vanessa sat up, mentally preparing which outfit she was going to wear.

“Can we feed the ducks?” Vanessa asked again. Brooke laughed at Vanessa’s excitement and sat up alongside her.

“You really haven’t changed since you were ten, have you? You still love doing the same things,” Brooke smiled as she spoke and Vanessa laughed softly in response. “But yes, we can feed the ducks.” Vanessa grinned and laid back down on the bed. She felt happy and content for the first time in a long time. Brooke’s arms embraced her yet again and she couldn’t help but feel that maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.

Japan Festival '19 • The 22nd Edition

📌 São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center • Rod. Imigrantes KM1,5 (there are buses come-and-go from Jabaquara Station to the festival for free :D ⏰ July 5, 6 and 7th of 2019 (it depends on the year) • I went on the 6th♡ 🎫 R$28 this year (you can buy it on the event or on some stores/websites, that is usually cheaper) 🚗 YES. there are parking lots (R$50) 🍽️ Festival, traditional cuisine from Japanese provinces and some other stuff that I have no idea why 💰 $$ (aka: well, since you're there, u gotta eat) 🌐 website • instagram • twitter • facebook • youtube 💖💖💖💖

SO! After many many years I finally went to the Japan Festival again! I used to go every year when I was younger (when it was all in the open, no roof at all, now it's a MASSIVE STRUCTURE), but somehow it ended up always in a hurry and I didn't enjoy going anymore. This year I even considered going because it was the Hello Kitty 45th anniversary and I really wanted to go to this specific event, but I was kinda meh about it, plus it is a little bit expensive, BUT MY FRIEND INVITED ME and paid for my ticket so I needed to go lmao thanks my friend ♡

The festival started on 1998, to celebrate the 90th Japanese Immigration Anniversary and was organized by the KENREN with the intention of share and celebrate de Japanese culture in Brazil, it changed places around 3 times and settled on the São Paulo Expo Center, having a different theme each year, always bringing events, booths, music and food representing the Japanese provinces (this year, unfortunately, Kyoto and Kanagawa didn't attend </3).

Back to when I used to attend to this festival, that was a gianourmous 鳥居 (torii the Japanese entrance gate), but this year I didn't see it, instead right when you pass the ticket office, you're greeted by Bradesco's booth (which is styled as a Japanese traditional house, with a cute garden and all) followed by the immense Toyota, Honda and Nissan booths where cars and motorcycles are showcased. Also, if you take off your attention of the car booths, on the very right, there's a little 活け花 (ikebana) exposition and a tea ceremony area, and this year there was a secret not-so-secret Hello Kitty hidden there!

The festival is structured by streets (A, B, C, D, E and F, vertically, while the horizontal ones don't have specific names) and the principal one, on the middle, called the Japan Ave (it's the largest where the biggest and most outstanding booths *COUGHS* HELLO KITTY *COUGHS* are. On the very end of the vertical streets, there are 2 recreational areas, the children's (this year they had activities like 折り紙 (origami), おにぎり (onigiri) making, etc) and the elderly's (usually they have radio-taiso), and after that, the Food Court, while on the sides there are "resting spaces" and toilets, after the food court, there's a stage where some dance and musical events are performed (and also not a lot of people go there, so if you want to chill, go straight there).

As soon as we got there (around noon), we were s-t-a-r-v-i-n-g, so we ignored all the non-food-booths and went directly to the food court (except by me slowly walking pass some obassans that were wearing kimonos ♡), our mission there: お好み焼き (okonomiyaki) from Wakayama (Booth 18), but I misread the map on hashitag and we ended up in front of a たこ焼き (takoyaki) booth, from Gifu (Booth 24), which we decided on trying, because takoyaki is the best yaki. And on our way to the search for the okonomiyaki, a lovely obassan suggested us to try the outdoor booths, and we went to the Nara Booth (31) where we tried the 炉ばた (robata), which I've never heard of and it was AMAZING, totally worth the price.

Now full and ready for a walk, we decided on walking around, going through the horizontal streets, and that got totally ruined when we spotted the HELLO KITTY BOOTH, which was sooo crowded (after all, it's Kittyさん), but fortunately, all the lines I entered there were pretty fast, and we got our Hello Kitty 45th Anniversary Special Ice Cream from the cutest Ice Cream shop ever, Dona Nuvem (they're known for their cotton-candy ice cream ♡) red velvet flavored (best choice e-v-e-r), the bitterness of the ice cream balanced perfectly with the chocolate and it was like, the cutest and tastiest ice cream ever. We also got to enjoy the booth, taking pictures, strolling to the full store, etc. (oh, and there we met one of his students, she's lovely~, actually, we ran into like, 4 of his students there).

We also stopped by: the Yakult booth (yakults units were just R$1!!), the Panco booth, the Hirota Food Express (a food/supermarket chain, partner(?) of Daiso Japan here in Brazil) and we got some お弁当 (obento) and drinks because, let's be honest, we were there for food. (also, there was a book launch happening there)

Furthermore, there are a lot of shops there, you can buy everything from cosplay to ドラマ (drama), clothing (t-shirts to kimonos), plants, funkos, accessories, etc etc etc (it's kinda you gotta already know the price outside the event, some things are pricier other things are actually cheaper)

And very lastly, we returned to our first mission: お好み焼き (okonomiyaki), we found the booth and IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE (R$27) BUT SO GOOD, so yeah, festival food. and all the notes from the food court were personalized and so cute so it was okay ;A; (and I also got an いちご大福 (ichigo daifuku) that I forgot to take a picture ;___;)

That's it! that was a kinda brief description of my experience of this year's Japan Festival ♡ it was the first time I really enjoyed it, so I'm kinda looking forward the next one (they already have a date!)~

A/N: This is my new Stucky series. It starts with the boys as kids in Brooklyn and follows CAFA but from Bucky’s POV rather than Steve’s. I am sooo excited about this series which I have been working on for about 6 months as it’s written for @cabigbang

July 4th, 1943

Bucky had been stationed in London for a few weeks now. The first thing he had done was to write Steve and let him now he had arrived safely. He had jokingly talked about some of the other soldiers being seasick half of the way, adding how he thought Steve would have had he been on the boat with Bucky.

He had written Connie too and received a letter back from her but nothing from Steve yet. Bucky knew that shouldn’t make him worry. It had only been a few weeks and he was far away from home. V-mail was expensive or maybe Steve had just been busy working. Still, he couldn’t help but imagine all the other scenarios that could have unfolded.

Steve was Steve and without Bucky there to stop the bullies he was standing up to from beating the little guy half to death, Steve could have landed himself in hospital. Steve had been in and out of hospitals most of his life and not just from the beatings he had received. His health sometimes took a downturn quickly and Bucky worried that might have happened too. The worst thing he could image though had been the warning he had left Steve with. He worried that the MPs had caught him and he was in jail or some doctor had thought it would be amusing to let the little guy learn his lesson by letting him sign up.

Bucky knew the last part was unlikely, but still, he worried. He always had to an extent and being so far away from his best friend only enhanced it all. Today, however, his mind was elsewhere. His unit had gotten their orders. They were sailing out first thing tomorrow. He had already written and sealed his letter to Connie, letting her know they might be further apart now and that the real war was starting for him. He took a deep breath before putting the pen to paper, writing Steve to let him know the same.

Dear Steve

I am spending my last night in London tonight. I took a walk down by the Thames and I really wish you could see this place. You’d love it. The buildings that aren’t in ruins are beautiful. Even the ruins are I suppose. I think you’d have loved drawing some of these places, even though you always try to hide them from me. I never understood why you’d never let me see them? You know I'd Just look after you fell asleep right?

Maybe that confession wasn’t the smartest but you’ll forget by the time I get back home. Home. Even with the beauty of this place I miss Brooklyn and our apartment.

It’s your birthday today. Did you go to Coney Island without me, punk? I hope you did. I hope you are well. I know you’ll be grumpy hearing this but I worry about you. I wish I knew you were safe before shipping out tomorrow. I know you want to prove yourself and help make the world a safer place, but, Steve, there are more ways to do that than going to war. Please stay safe until I get back home.

Bucky.

August 22nd, 1943

For the first time, in his life Bucky started to understand how both George but especially Joseph had returned from war changed men. The invasion of Sicily had been a bloody one. Bucky had made it through every battle unscathed if you didn’t count the ringing ears he had suffered after a grenade went off a few feet from him. The blast had sent him flying and he had been sure he had gone deaf when he came too, but he wasn’t hurt. Some would call it a miracle, but not Bucky. He couldn’t understand how he could walk away when his friend died in his arms as Bucky desperately tried to put enough pressure on his wounds so his guts wouldn’t spill out and his friend wouldn’t bleed to death.

It had been the first loss Bucky had experienced but war is both cruel and merciful in that he never the time to process it. He was never allowed the time to really fear for his own life, as he tried his best to keep his men and friends alive.

Bucky was the company's best sniper. One of America’s best, even if he never thought of himself as such. This did, however, mean he wasn't always in the midst of the battle. It was his job to get to high ground and watch the other’s back. It was what he had done for Steve most of his life and it was a task Bucky was good at even if he sometimes wished he could do more.

It had been a bloody few days and all Bucky had been able to bear to write was his diary. He knew that he would let Steve read it one day, when he was home and safe from the thunder of the gunshots and the never-ending fear of a HYDRA ambush. He found himself thinking less and less of Connie. The dream and hope of a normal life when he got back was floating further and further away. He had still dutifully written her a letter before moving on to the one he really wanted to write.

Steve was the one that knew him and the one that Bucky selfishly wished was at his side to keep him sane. A bigger part of him was happy that he wasn’t though. Steve was home safe and he was going to be there when he made it back home. Bucky knew he would never turn into someone he wasn’t because Steve wouldn’t allow it. He would be there to remind him of the person he had always been and Bucky found a sense of peace in that.

Dear Steve

I wish I had heard from you. It doesn’t seem as if a lot of letters had been coming through, but I am hoping it’s about to change now. Sicily is now free. For now. I’m sure HYDRA has other plans but we’re going to take the victory.

I don’t even know how to begin to explain what it’s like over here. Sometimes I just wanna go home and pretend all of this isn’t real. Stop scowling at me. I know you wouldn’t approve. It’s your faith in the person you see me as that keeps me going.

I met a woman and her two little kids yesterday. She fed us and thanked us. Moments like those makes it all worth it.

I don’t want to worry you, Stevie. I’m doing just fine. It’s just the rush of a battle I guess. Tell you what… be glad you are not here because your asthmatic ass would have fallen over dead just by breathing in the thick ass of gunfire. Hell, I can barely breathe at times.

I know you wish you were here with me, Steve, and truth be told I wish that too sometimes, but it’s better this way. I’ll be home soon. HYDRA and Nazis aren’t as scary as they want the world to believe.

I miss you, punk. Please let me hear from you soon.

Bucky.

September 25th, 1943

Bucky hadn’t expected the waiting game to be even worse than the actual war when he left home. The 107th job for the past few weeks had been to hold Sicily. There had been a few skirmishes and a few attacks to push back but nothing major and nothing that caused the casualties like the first month

It gave Bucky time to think. Too much time maybe. He didn’t just think of the near misses that could have gotten him killed and the people that he had lost. He thought about how he wanted life to be after the war. His mind began to wander to what couldn’t be. He selfishly started to hope that maybe Steve would never find the courage he needed to talk to women or maybe the women he did talk to would just be too stupid to see past the small guy in front of them. Maybe no one would ever see what Bucky saw. He hated himself for thinking like that. He wanted Steve to be happy, a small part of Bucky just hoped he would be happy with him.

The truth was that almost dying more than once and seeing people die in front of him had sparked something in Bucky he had tried hard to push down all of his life. Fearing for his life almost daily made him want to not live a half-truth anymore. He knew how he was wrong but he loved Steve. When his mind left the battlefields and the horrors around him they didn’t go to Connie even if she was an amazing girl. Bucky cared for her and he knew he could probably build a life with her and be satisfied.

She just wasn’t Steve. He would never love anyone the way he loved him. The little punk that always pushed him to be better. The one person that had seen him at his best and his worst and never looked at him differently for any of it. Bucky’s escape was with Steve which was why he had written Connie the night before the 107th was shipping off to the mainland and new wars. He knew he couldn’t lead her on. Bucky carefully phrased his letter, telling her he was no longer the same which to an extent was true. He never told her about Steve or how he was feeling. He just gently let her know he could no longer continue writing her and that he wished her the best of luck in her future.

He completely lost his courage though when it came to writing his best friend. A friend he hadn’t heard from in months. He was afraid he was already too late telling Steve how he felt and still he couldn’t bring himself to really do it. Not in a letter.

He kept writing him though. Telling him about the places he saw and that he wished Steve could see. He told him of the friends he made. He added the poor conditions to try and discourage Steve from signing up over and over. There was no way he would survive over here and Bucky didn’t want him to try.

He wasn’t sure his letters was reaching Steve but he had to keep trying. He knew from the letters Rebecca had sent him that Steve hadn’t been visiting the Barnes and he hadn’t opened the door the few times she had gone to check on him. It had Bucky worried and he almost considered leaving the army a few times to go searching for his friend. His sense of duty was too strong in the end and he knew Steve wouldn’t want him to abandon his post no matter what was going on. Instead, he kept writing and hoping that Steve was somewhere safe and not behind bars in a military prison somewhere.

Dear Steve

It’s been relatively quiet here. I was hoping to have heard from you by now. Becca wrote telling me she hasn’t seen you in a while. She is doing well by the way. Apparently, I’m not the only one she has been writing. Remember Wilson? The kid in her class? He shipped out to England last month and he asked Becca if he could write to her. We might have to pay him a visit when we are all back home. He’s a good kid though. I’m happy for her, I just wish she didn’t have to go through all of this twice.

Sometimes I wonder if signing up was the right call. Don’t get me wrong, we’re needed over here, but if you are sick somewhere… I hate for Becca to go through all of this on her own too. I should be making sure the two of you are safe. Not running around trying to save the world.

I know what you would say. I can hear you in my head every damn day and you’re right. This is for you and her. It’s for mom and dad. It’s for everyone here that needs our help. We grew up fighting bullies. There’s just a hell of a lot more of them over here but we’re going to win. Good always does, right?

Please if you get this letter, drop in on Becca and let her know you are safe. The kid almost worries about you as much as I do. And I worry about her too. It would mean a lot to me to know you were there for each other when I can’t be.

We’re sailing to the mainland tomorrow so it might be awhile before I get any letters you might send. I’ll be looking forward to hearing from you though. I miss you.

ABOUT A DAY IN DIDSBURY

Monday, I had a day off - and that means new places to go and explore. No sitting, but walking, taking pictures and tasting coffees in local coffee shops. My sister took me on a trip to Didsbury, which is an area divided into two main parts - Didsbury Village, dominated by prestigious chains, and West Didsbury, which has an altogether more independent feel.

V pondělí jsem měla volno z práce a to pro mě znamená možnost objevovat nová místa, nový věci a ochutnávání kafe v neznámých kavárničkách. Tentokrát mě vzala ségra na výlet, protože mi chtěla ukázat, kde bydlela, když přijela do Manchesteru poprvé - v Didsbury. Je to část Manchesteru, rozdělena na dvě části Didsbury Village, kde jsou samé prestižní řetězce a obchůdky, zatímco West Didsbury na vás dýchne naprosto odlišným dojmem a nezávislostí.

Sooo first of all…how did we get there?

We bought daily tickets for MetroLink (£4.20 per ticket), took a tram no.5 from Exchange Square to East Didsbury. If you wanna long walk, wait til terminal station East Didsbury, if you wanna see centre of Didsbury first, exit in Didsbury village.

We started our journey in East Didsbury, which is area with cinema, Tesco, many chain restaurants, and many detached houses all around. It takes about 20 minutes to get somewhere nice to enjoy the place.

Pro ty z Vás, kteří budete v Manchesteru například studovat, nebo se sem jen přijedete podívat, je Didsbury skvělý výlet na odpočinek, nebo skvělou náhradou za přírodu, pokud vám chybí lesy. A jak jsme se z centra Manchesteru dostali do Didsbury?

Koupily jsme si se ségrou celodenní lístky na MetroLink, což tedy platí jen na místní tramvaje do 3.zóny (£4.20), z Exchange Square jezdí tramvaj č.5 směr East Didsbury. Pokud se chcete hodně projít, jeďte až na konečnou stanici East Didsbury, ale pokud chcete být přímo v centru, vystupte o 2 zastávky dříve v Didsbury village.

My jsme náš výlet pojaly jako dlouhou procházku, takže jsme vystoupily až na konečný. East Didsbury je převážně oblast pro místní, není tady vyloženě nic speciálního k vidění. Mají tu centrum s kinem, Tesco, po cestě jsme viděly restaurace řetězců Bella Italia a Frankie’s. Procházka trvá asi 20 minut než se dostanete někam, kde je to trochu jiné a z typicky britského předměstí se stanou krásné domy zbohatlíků a na vaší cestě vás začnou doprovázet veverky.

But it’s worth it, you can watch squirrels along Wilmslow Road, see beautiful houses, cause this area is the most expensive one in Manchester and then you can visit Parsonage Gardens, green place with a picturesque setting, that surprised us with its beauty and already blossoming flowers all around.

Podél Wilmslow Road, jsme tedy měly možnost vidět krásnou britskou architekturu, jelikož tahle část patří do jedné z nejdražších celého Manchesteru a žijí tady především doktoři a právníci. Na na naší cestě jsme narazily na Parsonage Gardens, do kterých vedou nádherné staré brány a na konci je starý bristký kostel s hřbitovem, vypadá to tady jak z nějakého filmu. Zahrady jsou naprosto úchvatný a nádherně udržovaný. V zahradách je také víceúčelový dům, s prostory volně k pronajmutí na svatby, oslavy ale probíhají tam kurzy vaření, italštiny, malování i lekce yogy. Překvapilo nás, že už jim tam kvetou sněženky :) první sněženky roku 2019.

Wandering around, we eventually reached Didsbury Village and main street with many shops and coffee shops. There’s French patisserie Bisous Bisous, Italian restaurant Gusto and the Botanist restaurant. We felt more like a cake time - so Megi took me to Caramello of Didsbury, which is about corner and it’s fantastic, cozy small place with the best vanilla cheesecake I’ve ever eaten in my life.

Během naše bloudění jsme došly do Didsbury Village, část s hlavní ulicí, plnou obchůdků a restaurací. Najdete tady vyhlášenou patiserii ve francouzském stylu Bisous Bisous, italksou restauraci Gusto nebo vyhlášenou restauraci Botanist, zasazenou do dřevěného domečku. My jsme ale měly chuť na sladký, a ségra měla vytipovanou kavárnu Caramello of Didsbury, což je hned za rohem od hlavní ulice. Je to mini kavárnička o pár místech, ale za to s nejlepším cheesecakem, který jsme kdy jedla. Naprosto dokonalý…no podívejte sami na fotky.

Didsbury is perfect place for families or couples who want to settle down. Alongside the main road are different restaurants, shops and everything you need….so you don’t have to travel to city centre of Manchester all the time - it’s like town in the city.

Didsbury je skvělá oblast pro rodiny s dětmi, nebo páry, které se chtějí usadit. Podél hlavní cesty najdete všechny obchůdky, co potřebujete, dále tady není nouze o služby, takže si myslím, že místní ani do centra Manchesteru tak často nejezdí - Didsbury je taková vesnice ve městě.

On our way back to Greater Manchester, we decided to visit Alexandra’s Park - the most photogenic park in Manchester. From Didsbury village, take a tram to Chorlton and walk 30 minutes around perfect neighbouhoods with old british houses. This area is mainly for asian community, many houses were marked with texts in arabic and people we met stare at us. But then you will reach Alexandra’s Park -heaven for squirrels and dog walkers and everything is fine again.

Na naší cestě zpátky do Manchesteru, jsme se rozhodly navšívit ještě Alexandra’s Park, nejfotogeničtější a nejvíce fotografované místo v Manchesteru. Dostanete se tam zase tramvají směr Chorlton, a pak teda musíte asi půl hodinky jít pěšky sousedstvími s nádhernými domy, ale se ségrou jsme se shodly, že je to vyloženě asijská oblast, hodně domů na sobě mělo arabské nápisy a lidi, co jsme potkali na nás nekoukali úplně příjemně. Jakmile dojdete do Alexandra’s Parku jsou všechny obavy zažehnány a vy si můžete užít ráj veverek a pejskařů.

In southern part of the park is a small lake - which is a central place during summer season together with coffee shop nearby.

V jižní části parku je malé jezírko, které je hlavní atrakcí převážně v letních měsících a spolu s nedalekou kavárnou je skvělým místem pro relax.

In love with trees and flowers…I kind of miss this in centre of Manchester.

Trošku mi v Manchesteru chybí zeleň a květiny, takže já byla z parku unešená.

and yeah ….Johnny joined us after work in park for a walk and I took this pic on our way back home and I love this one so much….

a zapomněla jsem zmínit, že jsme se v parku potkali s Honzou, přišel za námi po práci na procházku. Na cestě domů jsem vyfotila tuhle fotku a moc mě baví.

V scenario to fighting with you and breaking up.

Sooo, this one took me a while to write too, only cause I don’t want to hurt this little puppy, but anyways, hope you enjoy ~~~~

This week was harsh, you knew it was like this but working and studying was harder than it was made out to be, your uni decided that it would be a great idea to start a whole uni project, it was something only your uni seemed to do, it was held every few months, and unless you broke a limb, you couldn’t miss it, you just returned from a long 2 weeks of Just volunteering, this was the project, it took everything within you, to not just crush and breakdown as soon as you entered your apartment.

It was cold, no one had been in it since 2 weeks ago, the rent price seemed like such a waste, but you decided complaining wouldn’t solve anything, you were back on the night shifts, and just hours before a part time waiter, the school was expensive, not only that, but the 2 weeks you’d lost, really would take a toll on you, you wanted nothing more than just to rest, but you had money that you had to make, so you got up without a sound, quickly got changed, and ran out the door because again, you were on the brink of being late.

Your boyfriend kim taehyung, really missed you when you were gone for that long, he wanted to do nothing more than just to hug and kiss you, so he waited patiently for you to call or text him, but you didn’t, another week would pass and he was sure that you would be back by this time, but, it seemed like you were way too busy for anyone.

Some how you found the time out of your hectic schedule to meet with v, to say you didn’t miss him just as much as he missed you, would be a lie, you missed his silly smiles, and the way he’d just annoy the hell out of you, but you liked it.

It was the only thing that was annoying but also soothing all at once,

But,

Being so busy, you didn’t notice his slowly drifting smile,

“Y/n,”

“Yes, tae give me 2 seconds I’ll be done”

He sighed, you knew he hated it when you studied while he was with you, he just wanted to watch movies and cuddle with you

“Are you done? You said 2 seconds it’s been like 20”

You smiled finding his whines cute

“Okay, I’m done, come here, did you miss me that much?” He smiled wide, and slide in between your arms.

If only you knew that he’d be this hurt, you wouldn’t have agreed on dating him, you knew how much, or how little time you were spending with him,

“Come on y/n cant I come over, I really miss you”

“Tae, it’s too late, and we both have work in the next 10 hours, it won’t be good for any of us”

“You always say that, please”

You gave into his requests and told him, that if he came over you two were going to sleep and that was it.

You went to the door and greeted him, he was looking more down than usual,

“Tae, what’s wrong? Did something happen?”

“Y/n do you still have feelings for me, or did you ever?”

You knew where this was going, he was breaking, he was missing you, but you couldn’t be there to comfort his scars.

“Tae, I still love you, I would never stop”

“Then why? Why do you not have any time for me? Why? I’m so lonely here, you know, I get jealous of jungkook sometimes, he tells me how his dates with his girlfriend was, and I can’t tell him anything cause I myself, haven’t seen you in what? 2 weeks? Again? Y/n what are we?”

You walked over to him, knowing how hurt he was, but you were selfish

“No tae, please don’t say that, please, I love you, so freaking much”

“No y/n, I think we need some time off, as single, I want to see if waiting for you is worth it, or if I can be happy too” your head hang low, knowing what he meant, you nodded and headed back towards your bedroom, your body was going through so much already, you stopped midway

“Y/n?”

You were so tired, from both studying and working, and that constant fear of loosing him, but when it happened, it was all too much, you were physically not capable of holding yourself together anymore, you felt dizzy, taehyung sensed that something was wrong, and he walked over to you, and stood in front of you

“Y/n?” You collapsed, it was a good thing tae was in front of you, because otherwise you would’ve fallen hard on the floor, he called the ambulance not knowing what else to do with your heart beat pulsating like crazy, it felt like it could give in and fail your own body.

When you awoke it was morning, there was a bouquet of white roses on your side table, the familiar smell of medicine covered the surface of your nose, you always hated that smell

“Y/n? Your awake? Oh thank goodness, I thought you would never wake back up”

“I’m sorry, I worried you again didn’t I, even when were on a break”

“What break? Y/n what are you on about?”

“You wanted, to take time off, I understand if you still want that”

“Y/n, do you think I really would want that? I was in a fit of anger, not being able to see the one I love for so long, it drove me nuts and when you didn’t want me to come over, I guess I just craved your affection”

You lifted your hands to his face and caressed his beautiful cheeks, you pulled him in closer to you, before he freaked out

“Hey, y/n be careful, you’ll hurt the baby”

You looked at him, not knowing what he meant by baby

“What tae? What baby?” He smiled at you, which made the butterflies in your stomach go crazy

“Y/n, your pregnant, that’s why you were more tired than usual, thank you, thank you so much, for keeping our baby safe”

He hugged you, carefully.

“Tae, I, i. Had no idea, I could’ve caused so much harm to it”

“Her, it’s a girl, and no, I’m sorry, I’m sorry for not being there enough, just please stay by my side, and I swear everything will be better, and their not taking you to that volunteering stuff, your staying here right next to me.”

So this one was a lot more different than the other ones, hope you like it, as if you do make sure to let me know and request away~

The past few days have been super busy. I had to go into work on monday and tuesday, catch up on a lot that the other clerks don’t know what to do with, and finish the r.v.s. opinion. I worked late monday to finish it. I had to put in more of the dragonetti law, and the organization really started whirlpooling. Aside from that, it felt good to just sit and zoom in on something in evening. The judge whirlpooled it on tuesday too, but I filed it and it’s done.

Yesterday I also biked up to j’s before work to drop off a 1040 for her neighbor. It wasn’t cool, but was much cooler than it is in my neighborhood.

Roommate j moved out yesterday, and that also made this week hectic. Roommate r was v frustrated with how it all went down, but i’m just glad we can clean up and start fresh. Except the vacuum wasn’t working, so I took it apart and discovered that the belt is broken, so some of the cleaning is going to have to wait until the hardware store gets the belt in. New roommate g is moving in friday, and unfortunately we may not be able to vacuum before then, but nothing doing.

I am proud of how productive the past few days have been, in the house and for work.

Also I wore my new linen blazer to work on monday. Too bad for everyone that they weren’t also at work to see it.

Today a hairdresser from roommate j’s salon came to the house to give me a haircut, and I feel sooo good about it. The last two cuts I had were from students, one of whom just cut out all my layers and gave me a straight cut, and that was about 10 months ago. This might have been my most expensive haircut ever, because of the house-call rate, but I feel so nice, it was really worth it.

what songs do you feel like describes your placements and why?

Wow this is gonna be really long! And I apologize for replying late this took some time to put together aha!

Okay so staring with my sun(cancer)in the 1st house id say -Sza prom-Sza go Gina-Little dragon pop style -Sylvan esso coffee -Niia girl like me.

I chose these mainly because although I am a very energetic and very self aware person I’m heavily swayed by my emotions and my emotions can make me my ego very dependent on knowing myself. These songs in their own right are about keeping authenticity and portraying ones self as nothing more then who they are even at the expense of those around them but the cancer influence still shows a care for how those actions and deacons affect those around me and what it means to me.

My moon in Aries in the 10th house is a bit more on the melancholy side of things and illustrates my clash between my impulsive choices and feelings vs my absolute loathing of showing any emotions to the public and my strong need to be something in the world and how emotionally aware others should be of their surrounding and other people in the real world :) I blame this placement on my highly in tune “save the earth/vintage jeans/Polaroid personality” here are the songs:

Mercury in Leo in the 2nd houseSooo here I like to say I’m very active and at times a lot of my mental process or things I think about mentally tend to be very repetitive and tend to mainly be about security and sensual things but usually it’s a warm placement for my Mercury and although my thoughts are about “how I” can achieve security I also find that these songs describe the subtle quietness of my thoughts at times

I tend to change and have multiple sides to me that somehow always seem out of reach but I also feel as though I’m either drowning in depth or flying to high up in the sky. I’m often overwhelmed by my desires and always seek other means of releasing my energy. I’m insecure with my more nurturing tendencies and have a hard time truly being nurturing but the desire is still strong

Next is my Jupiter in Pisces in the 10th house also in the Scorpio Decan. I have a strong view on life and how things are done publicly and have a strong need to restructure and redo both the political and law systems I believe in doing the right thing while also being aware that not everyone believes so I’m very positive but in a very melancholic way aha

Next up is my Saturn(Taurus) in the 11th house! I attribute this to my taste in darker and more intense music in all honesty aha I tend to isolate myself irl from others and don’t really make friends easy. I don’t really like groups nor am I into bandwagons. I don’t trust very many people in regards to friendships mainly of my own volition. I can be a somber at times and a bit of a debt downer!! But I am very loyal and once I see you’re a down friend or a real and authentic group that has a real cause I’ll have your back till my bones brake. I’m also the huggy and earthy friend 😂

But basically I am very eccentric and a bit far out on an intimate level and I often crave electric experiences and have a constant need to dive into the meaning of death and it at times feels as though I have a million different versions of me that all exist simultaneously at once inside of me. I can have a very dark streak but at the same time I can have a curious streak or a light streak or a emotionless streak or and emotion filled streak! It’s an exciting position and feels like a roller coaster. I feel like I live in a space age world at times and I’m constantly fighting intimacy issue and themes around actually dealing with the idea.

I am attracted to what’s wrong for me at times and have an addiction to helping those who don’t deserve it or plain out just trying to help someone and often fall for them. I believe in a universal love and a love that involves pain.

I have a strong need for touch and to be on service and I’m pretty content on a deeply emotional basis and am usually happy!

I don't think they're the most underrated ship, but they definitely deserve more love, cause you know, daegu line! That's all that matters. I think that people don't see chemistry, like, tae and yoongs don't seem too close, at least in front of cameras, and the fandom has this image of yoongi been mean to tae :/ I just think that they're more reserved with each other (?) Idk why tho, it's just the way their relationship is I guess. But when they do interact they bless us with beautiful moments.

(Sorry this is a bit late; it’s been sooo long since I’ve written for Freyja, and then I got caught up in Christmas stuff and spaced on this for a while. Set sometime in early autumn 201, post-Western Watchtower and pre-Songs For Nomads.)

But Markarth’s court mage misplaced a squad of sellswords down Nchuand-Zel, and for a handsome fee she’s agreed to try to unearth them. Their corpses, more likely. Thus far she’s found naught but the shuffle and smudge of steps on the dusty stone and the tap-tap-ring of water dripping, somewhere, onto metal. She keeps her sword in hand.

At least there’s enough scrap lying about to make it worth her while. Real Dwemer brass is valuable enough that unscrupulous weaponsmiths often try to pass off cast bronze replicas as original, though to a trained eye the differences are easy to spot. Indros taught her to watch for them. He’d a pawnbroker’s eye, and he was fond of Dwemer weaponry – had a matched pair of daggers he’d looted from some ruin on the Morrowind slope of the Velothi Mountains, gold and gleaming and garnet-inlaid at the hilts. My home & Auto insurance has doubled thisyear. I called today to ask why as I had no claims or tickets. The reason I was told was the new way that rates are based. My agent said that your credit score is now used in the calculation of your rate.
