Had to leave the my phone sound on for about half an hour so that I wouldn’t miss a call for a doctor’s appointment, and boy did that half hour reinforce how much I hate being off silent mode.

I’d rather lose my phone than be subjected to the bings and dings and warbles of notifications, ye gads.

A status update...

Soooo... I just got over a couple weeks of being COMPLETELY down and out with COVID (yep, turns out I really WAS coming down with something when I made that post about Pearl needing therapy). I still don't have a lot of energy (COVID wipes you the heck out, I never wanna get it again), but my brain is screaming at me to draw Orange again...I don't have much energy to, but for the last few days I've been wanting to draw another page of just facial expressions (and maybe another page of just random sketches), so maybe I'll just do that, because that's way easier and takes less time. Dunno when I'll post them but it won't be today, I'm using up a lot of energy just to make THIS post. Heck, I barely have enough energy to play my Nintendo Switch these days, but that doesn't change the fact that I still do it anyway because I want to (it's charging right now though). It's like Crispin's quote in Scarlet and Violet, "If you wanna do something just do it!" And that's literally how I am, especially when it comes to my special interests, I will put them over my own health because I HATE doing nothing and being bored. I have literally spent the last couple weeks doing nothing but laying around and sleeping, I'm tired of it. I don't CARE if I have no energy, I've got stuff I wanna do, I've got stuff I've GOTTA do, I'm so DONE with doing nothing! I wanna go back to hyperfocusing on my projects for hours on end without a care in the world! Ugh...sorry for the mini-rant, this was only intended to be a little update about what's been going on these last couple weeks, why I haven't been posting, etc. COVID is no joke, but it's finally out of my system and I finally mustered up the (very little) energy needed to make this update post! Hopefully I'll be back posting regularly again soon!

What sorta show are ya workin on, Jas?

Normal horror show stuff, though the thing i was doing yesterday was more time consuming then things usually are. Sure, sometimes I gotta wait for a scene to be cleaned up when something goes wrong, but this was just... aggravating.

There were clowns, and mimes. It will make sense when the episode airs I guess.

It's an anthology of horror type of show, every episode a different gruesome event. Sometimes the event is recreated from something that happened in the past, others are made up.

The show is called Reflected Misfortunes, if you wanna find the episodes already out on the site or tv channel.
