just got a unhinged Hangster idea where Jake comes from a RICH family and who moonlights as a contract killer and is a serial killer, who meets completely ordinary Bradley, who is just absolutely drowning in debt, most from his mom's medical care and his university school and is working three jobs and just barely managing to scrape by and doesn't question this rich goes sudden interest in him.

nor does Bradly care when Jake starts insisting on buying him things, or paying for things because he's just so tried and lonely and just desperately wants someone to take care of him.

and who better to do that then a hot unhinged man, who seems to have money he wants to spend and just wants to make him happy?

just. Pillow princess pampered Bradley (it's what he deserves!!!) and service top Jake, who's covered in blood and blushing so pretty as Bradley breathily tells him how good he is, while he rails Bradley within an inch of his life.

imagine a missing-nin kakashi with nothing to lose and a bingo book dripping blood. gone completely off the deep end.

he's lost everything - his father, his friends, the faith he has in the shinobi system. he's seen the ugly beneath the veneer of peace and safety, a deep, gangrenous rot that digs in and spreads roots through the earth and infects anything near it. politicians who will stop at nothing to keep their power. who will kill innocents over maybes and what if's. it's sickening. infuriating.

he festers in his anger after the uchiha massacre and it just builds and builds until he's ordered to take off the anbu mask and mold children into weapons of war, to shape soft, pliable minds into something sharp and deadly for their use with his own hands, and something just snaps.

he sits in his father's dark house, abandoned since he got an apartment across the village, and repaints his anbu mask in the pattern of blood swirling across the floor when he'd found his father dead on his own blade, driven to suicide by the demands of a village who'd once called him a hero. pre-sharingan, but still as vivid a memory as any other the eye keeps hold of. on the inside of the mask, for his eyes only, he carves the symbol of the leaf scratched through, a reminder. never forget. never forgive.

he disappears in the dead of night, nothing but a pack full of weapons, mask snug against his face, and a few days worth of rations, not sure where he's going but anywhere is better than these suffocating walls.

he won't be their weapon anymore - he'll be their worst nightmare. the ghost that stalks them in the night until their fear is so potent he can taste it, putrid rot on the back of his tongue. he makes a list, adds to it, scratches names off. a shinobi with training and knowledge of their machinations and knows what cracks to pry open to get to the heart of them, bloody and charred between his fingers.

he's making things better in his own twisted way, purging corruption, cutting the heads off of snakes and razing the earth where they rot before maggots can even try to fly.

he starts with konoha. leaves ashes in his wake before the inferno spreads to other villages, other lands. this system made him, and he's going to dismantle it until there's nothing left but fire and brimstone.
