Pairing: Colt Seavers x Reader x Jody Moreno

a/n: SURPRISE!!! Another fic!!! This one I feel MUCH better about. you know i had to include my love Jody in this one. shoutout to @superprofesh for inspiring me to write again. genuinely, your fic got my writing gears turning again!!! enjoy!!!

Summary: You’re going crazy on a miserable set with a miserable director. Thank goodness you have two wonderful things that keep you sane.

it has been an exhausting day. you absolutely adore your job as a costume designer, but days like this make you question why you do it.

currently you’re working on set for a sapphic action movie about a pirate falling in love with a mermaid. being a queer woman, this film is something that is very important to you, and you feel honored that hollywood acclaimed director Simon Finch specially requested you to work on the film.

however, said director happens to be a man, which isn’t a problem in of itself, but the issue arises when it becomes increasingly obvious throughout the process that this movie is being catered to the male gaze.

you researched for months before your initial meeting with Simon, eventually coming up with elaborate costume designs for the main characters, consisting of a more masculine look for Chris, the pirate, and a whimsically modest look for the sheltered mermaid, Adriana. Unfortunately, the meeting ended in Simon dismissing all of your hard work and essentially just requesting a lot more revealing clothing for the both of them. That first interaction pretty much set the tone for how the rest of this process has gone.

You and Simon butt heads daily, and ultimately, as much as you hate his opinions, they have to be the most highly respected. So you’ve spent the past 6 months on set to create costumes that don’t reflect your work accurately at all.

Today is no different, and you look at the dress you’ve been working on all day with absolute disgust. it’s scandalous and low cut and makes no sense for an adventurous pirate to be wearing. It feels like a mockery to you and the rest of your community, but here it was, having been created by your own hands. You sigh deeply before throwing it on the ground, coincidentally at the same time the trailer door opens.

You look up and lock eyes with a certain assistant director who is giving you a sympathetic look.

Jody.

There’s your reason for sticking it out. You’re not doing it alone, thank god. You’ve got your girlfriend on your side throughout this whole process, working as the assistant director, where she also is having an incredibly tough time keeping her mouth shut. She was the reason you’ve stayed sane for so long. Well, one of the reasons.

“Hey, Jody! Can I help you?” you ask stupidly, immediately cringing internally at your dumb question.

She laughs, leaning up against the open trailer door. “I would hope so, considering this is my trailer.”

You laugh weakly. “Right.”

“I’m guessing it’s been a rough day?” she asks gently, causing you to sigh as you plop down on her couch.

“‘More cleavage, more frills, i need to see the femininity practically bursting from Chris’ bosoms!’” you mock Simon and Jody’s mouth falls open.

“He did not,” she says, shocked.

“He most certainly did,” you confirm before continuing, “Jody I feel like i’m going fucking crazy.”

She pouts at your remark. “I know, my darling. But, I have a little surprise for you that might help with your sanity a bit.”

You quirk an eyebrow at that. “What are you up to, Miss Moreno?”

She shrugs with a smirk before stepping to the side of the trailer door, revealing your other reason for staying sane.

“Colt!” you leap up from the couch and make your way to him, immediately wrapping your arms around his neck. At this, said stunt man instinctively wraps his arms around your waist and lifts you into the air before setting you down and placing a sweet kiss on your lips.

“What’s up, sweetheart?” He asked with a smile.

You laugh at that, still overwhelmed by his surprise appearance. “What’s up me? What’s up you!!! I thought you were back in LA putting out feelers for new jobs! What are you doing here?” you ask excitedly.

He chuckles at your excitement. “Well, with Dan on paternity leave, it seems they’re in need of a new stunt coordinator…” he says, and your eyes widen at his implication.

“You’re staying? You’re here? Working? Here?”

Jody wraps an arm around your waist as the two of you face your boyfriend. “That, he is. Our very own Colt Seavers has been asked to remain on set until we wrap.”

“Thank God,” you breathe out, beaming.

Colt takes your hand. “It seems I’m here just in time. You doing okay? You and that dress there seemed to have a bit of a showdown.”

Your smile wavered at that. “Yeah, just typical Simon stuff.”

Colt sighed at that. “Is he still being a homophobic douchebag?”

Jody nods. “Perhaps not knowingly…but…yes. He just has these opinions of how this relationship needs to look, and it’s simply infuriating to stand back and witness,” she explains, her own frustrations becoming known.

You pull away from Colt to wrap your arms around the blonde girl. “You’re doing so well, though, honey. I know none of this is easy.”

The two of you stand there for a moment before you feel another pair of arms wrap around you both. the action makes you smile.

“You’re both doing amazing. I’m so proud of you and all the work you’re putting into this, even if it isn’t going the way it should,” he reassures, kissing both of you on the tops of your heads.

After the three of you separate, you look at them both with love and adoration. “Thank you,” you say softly.

“For what, sweet girl?” Jody asks, and Colt looks at you with curiosity in his eyes, emphasizing Jody’s question.

“Well, you,” you start, taking Jody’s face in your hands, “For being my partner in crime through all of the bullshit. for listening to me when I need to vent and for being the one person here who truly understands how I feel about all of this. For being my best friend,” you finish. You kiss her deeply, trying to communicate all that you couldn’t through words. You pull away and both smile at each other. You squeeze her hands before moving to your boyfriend.

“And you,” you take his hands, stroking them softly with the pads of your thumbs, “For listening. For helping when you can. For making me giggle, and assuring me when I doubt myself. For showing up however you can. And, of course, for being here. You’re also my best friend,” you say, tears in your eyes. Colt doesn’t wait for you to make the first move before wrapping one arm around your waist and tangling the other in your hair. He kisses you passionately, and you can feel the love he reciprocates.

When the two of you finally pull away, you’re smiling so hard that your cheeks hurt.

Jody clears her throat and you both turn to her. “Seavers…my turn?” She gives him her signature pout and he rolls his eyes jokingly, quickly making his way to her and sweeping her off the ground in a similarly passionate kiss. You smile at your partners. You’re so lucky to love these two and be loved in return.

The two pull away and look at you concerned.

“What’s going on, baby?” Colt asks, worried, and you’re confused for a moment before realizing you’ve been crying.

“Oh!” you exclaim, laughing as you wipe your tears. “I’m just really really happy. I love you both so much.”

Jody smiles, grabbing your hand and kissing your cheek. “We love you too, beautiful. Right, Seavers?”

“You bet your ass,” Colt says, grinning stupidly at both of you, “Now how about we go home and rest up?”

“Oh my god can we please cuddle and watch romcoms?” Jody requests and you squeal in agreement, nodding your head enthusiastically.

Colt laughs, shaking his head. “If you both insist. And then tomorrow we’ll have a fresh start.”

“Oh yes, with a big strong man at our sides, how can we go wrong?” Jody asks jokingly and you giggle.

“Our favorite ally, truly.”

Colt wraps his arms around both of your shoulders as you make your way off set. “What can I say? I love my gay girlfriends.”

As the three of you laugh your way back to your apartment for an evening of relaxation and much needed comfort, something becomes evident to you: These two keep you sane. And you couldn’t be more grateful.

Actually, i have an interesting question. I've never seen Anderson/Yumi/Heinkel and Laura crossover in your comics. And honestly, when I try to think about what that would look like, all I see is blood. BUT STILL.

It's funny to me to think that an Anderson/Laura ship would be pretty traumatic, even though Laura's story started a long, long time ago. And the old traumas have, in theory, healed a bit. But yet, Anderson is fucking crazy, not an asshole, so...

Yumi/Laura could be pretty cute, I think, especially considering Yumi's sweet personality and how she's generally a good girl even when she's in a berserk state.

Heinkel/Laura could probably be funny, because they're both completely mad (NOT IN A BAD WAY).

The reason I haven't done much Iscariot/Laura is because I have no idea what to do lmao. I would LOVE to make more of them considering I really like the Iscariots, but imagination completely evades me on this one. Anyway,

Anderson x Laura

- personal rating: 4/10?

- HCs: This would take a BILLION years to happen, but I like to think Anderson would actually sympathize with Laura if he ever heard her past. He's a caring man at heart and she used to be a good Christian girl who earnestly loved God but her faith was crushed by the lust and hubris of evil men. He knows damn well the corruption that takes place in the church, and the one thing he hates is people using scripture to justify their evil deeds.

- OTP level: eh, 3/10?

- Would I have liked to see it canon: This would never work in canon. Ever. Not even hatefuck they genuinely hate each other for so many reasons. Laura is probably the only one on the Hellsing side Anderson can't respect even if he can acknowledge her strength in a fight. Laura fucking hates his guts bc he's a loud bitchy Christian zealot who tried to kill (and insulted) Integra and he makes her work overtime. She'd spit on a Bible just to spite him

- General opinion: I want them to interact more SO bad, but they'd genuinely not work romantically. Even if Anderson was a woman Laura would hate her. That said, I need to make more content of these two hooligans because they're both genuinely medically insane

Yumi/Laura:

- personal rating: 6/10

- HCs: Laura would probably get really confused about Yumi's DID. She wouldn't understand why she's acting completely differently and why she's responding to a different name. It'd probably take a little while for her to get used to it, and she'd probably stare at Yumi constantly until she gets it.

- OTP level: 5/10? I never really thought about this one

- Would I have liked to see it canon: I don't think it could be canon. That said, I could see it as more of a fandom rarepair that would get excellent fics with a shitton of religious metaphors.

- General opinion: This one is probably the cutest from Iscariot x Laura? I really like it actually. Laura would probably lil bro Yumi a lot considering their age and experience difference, and she'd also probably be quite patronizing about Yumi's faith. However, I think Yumiko would be kind to Laura.

Heinkel x Laura

- personal rating: 4.5/10

- HCs: Laura would be so bitchy to Heinkel and vice-versa. It's a constant back and forth of sarcastic quips until they're called off. Laura calls Heinkel a dumb brat and Heinkel calls Laura a bitch hag. Both are seething

- OTP level: 4/10

- Would I have liked to see it canon: Not in canon for me. I could see it, maybe in fanart or a fic, with some enemies with benefits and constantly trying to one-up the other.

- General opinion: I feel like Laura would find Heinkel incredibly annoying. She'd see them as an absolute stupid brat that follows her superiors like a lapdog, and Heinkel would probably say she's doing the same but without a purpose. If either fell down the stairs the other would laugh at them

Last book: 😅 I've been struggling through Nein Eyes of Lucien for a while.... more honestly its Call of the Netherdeep and Explorers Guide to Wildemount. I truely read far more fanfic than anything else.

Last movie: I watched Night at the Museum for the first time this week. It was waaaaaay better than I ever imagined. I knew it was good and funny. It was also incredibly sincere and I can't get enough of that.

Last show: speaking of sincere, I'm about halfway through Frieren: beyond journey's end. And holy shit! I have never seen any media with a character who views and interacts with death the way i do. Its pretty heavy as shows go but its trustworthy. (I have a hard time with new stuff most of the time. Cr is one exception and this is too apparently)

Sweet/spicy/savory: no joke I've eaten salt before lol. But i prefer combos or all 3. Sweet spicy is underrated.

Relationship status: I live with my queer platonic partner. Its still just buckwild to me. As a kid i hated the idea of living with a partner cuz i didnt want so many aspects of what i was told that looked like. But hey guess what, y'all can decide what your relationships look like. We have separate rooms, are not sexually involved, rarely even touch tbh. And we love each other very much and want to grow old together in a house with cats.

They're touch averse and I'm sensory seeking. My fun Sunday night (out dancing) is their nightmare. But because we are who we are and how we understand and communicate in our relationship we rely on each other for only things that are available. I'll tell them all the dumb shit i see and do on Grindr and we'll sit on the couch and knit together.

Also my brain nearly explodes everytime I realize not only do we do couple stuff, we have couple friends we do couple stuff with. 18 year old me would have never believed you if you told them.

Last thing I looked up: I looked up the caffeine content of the thai tea concentrate I got my partner to see if i could try it. And shockingly i should be able to. Still gonna eat first and be careful though.

Current obsession: I'm pretty spread out rn, unusually. Ive got a sweater im excited about. And I'm on my 3rd attempt at a dorym water bottle sleeve I'm designing. This one should work now. Honestly dorym is probably no. 1 on my list. I shipped that back in exu, along with a bunch of stuff cuz I'm a delightful multishipper. So i feel particularly excited about dorym finally taking off. But also that while dorian was always looking to orym if anything else had come along he was there for the ride. I love robbie so so much. He is such a good character storyteller!

Looking forward to: today im hanging with 2 friends im usually in a larger group with so thats gonna be fun. Looking forward to baking off the beef wellingtons i made for my partner for xmas. And im looking forward to being able to work full time again in the new year. Ive been on part time for health reasons and stayed because i was spending hours on the phone fighting for insurance coverage. Now that both a done i can work more. I love my job and its a particular kind of boredom that i get when i cant work. Lol speaking of, im looking forward to the holidays being over. The office closures normally screw us but now im only working thurs fri for the next 2 weeks and I'll have try really hard to keep busy enough. At least my partner has 2 of the days off with me!

he also hypes you up before events like this, you get ready together, listening to some horrible norwegian rap music, dancing around the room. he usually takes pictures of you in your dresses, or watches as you do your makeup ( messing it up by smooching your cheeks). he shouts like a madman, taking videos “of his girl” and posting them on his instagram story. you are his girl, no matter how shy and awkward, he finds everything you do adorable. he loves it when you get shy and red, so flustered that you hide behind your hands, covering your face. he roots for you whenever he cant be by your side, he knows you better than anyone, knows how your ears get red when you’re excited and how you get goosebumps from an anxiety inducing interaction. the award gala is going smoothly, erling makes sure no one is bothering you, he looks at you with a dumb look on his face every two seconds asking “ are you okay??” to which you nod and smile, letting him know its all good. at the tables you get seated between to jude and erling. jude is so sweet, he knows that your shy ( erling gossips…) and treats you like a little sister, asking you questions, making you laugh. so you watch the nominees, you eat the incredible food and you try not choking on your water from jude making you laugh so hard. you feel erlings eyes on you, hes smiling at his girlfriend and best friend getting along so well. all that matters to him is that your okay and comfortable, he doesn’t mind you being introverted, hes loud enough for both of you.

Id love to see her interact with wonder woman more. I think it’d be sweet to see Diana break down Mera’s walls and gloat about how she’s a big softie on the inside

If you mean the more recent Mera mini, full disclosure I didn’t like it and I don’t like current Tula.

I think Mera being a bit socially awkward only makes sense if she is not from that dimension, which isn’t the case anymore in canon. But then she accidentally befriends two people who have no idea how to act in Atlantis either, so they’re all a bit odd together. Feisty Mera is…not the worst interpretation, but I do think it makes it hard for her to interact with characters outside of her inner circle? Idk I feel like she’s still “Aquaman’s wife/The Girl Aquaman” in a lot of writer’s minds.

I wrote about this in my Ideal Aquaman Reboot post but I would prefer if Mera was very politically-minded and that she is a people-pleaser only because she doesn’t want to be sent back to her home dimension. I think that’s a good compromise between her current portrayal and her original characterization.

I do agree that she should interact with Diana more!! It’s interesting because DC likes to say they’re friends sometimes, but they rarely interact. I think they would both bond (if it was Silver Age backstory/my ideal Mera) over being outsiders in a new world who fell for kinda dumb, incredibly brave men (Steve and Arthur)

HI!!! oh my gosh i can't even explain how completely excited and awestruck i was to see this i screamed and i mean that literally!!! you have no clue how much i love love LOVE sunshine!!! it's my favorite! i've read it two and a half times with some extra bouncing around to scenes i especially love and there are SO MANY SCENES that i love!!! oh my gosh!!! okay more gushing under the cut because this is a long post!!!

it means so so so much to me that you liked my stuff enough to wander onto my tumblr because YOUR writing was what made me write golden and eventually snowball into this blog and my other fics! i hadn't written a stanfic before and after finishing sunshine twice over i was literally starving for more and i was really inspired by you to write my own stuff!

i've left a couple comments on ao3 but i'll say here: the way you write stan is so so so phenomenal. i personally feel like i have yet to nail his personality exactly as you did! he's so sweet and flirty and funny and so true to canon i totally fell in love. his chemistry with kai is AMAZING and had me kicking my feet reveling in every interaction, especially dialogue-wise and again i'm still striving to write that amount of tension!!! kai herself is so charming and i'm obsessed with her and how close she is with every other character and her past and!!! ahh!! your character work is so so incredible and addictive! your writing voice itself is perfect and hilarious and grabs me by the neck every time, i'm always so absorbed in the story whenever i pick it up! and the scenes you come up with are amazing! (POSSESSED STAN HELLO? that whole scene gets me screaming!!) sunshine feels so cohesive and episodic, like i'm really watching an adult retelling/spin-off of the show that focuses VERY much on stan. it's everything i ever wanted in a fic!! it's so cool! i'm your biggest fan!!!

i'll cut myself off otherwise i'll keep gushing and reach whatever character limit this site has but i'll definitely drown you in more of my thoughts when i pick up my next reread!!! As for the question, I think I should point some of the things out:

- First of all, the Frostpegg duo has incredible chemistry both on and off set and every scene including both of them just. looks GOOD bc they work together so well and their interactions are something else;

- Secondly, Hot Fuzz is a gay gay romcom. And it works! It's not annoying enough for me to hate the ship, which, to be honest, is rare;

- I am DOWN BAD for the "ah he's so tough and serious but he has a soft spot for the only special person in he life/ ah he's so dumb such a small little scrunkly but so cheerful and so cute" trope *coughs intensely, sliding my sketches under the bed simultaneously*

- simon pegg is a slut and there is no choice for me but to reach out to him with my filthy slutty hands and ship him with the lads;

So,

HF is a comedy, aimed, in general, to make fun of things, but Angelbutter stands out. I suppose Simon&co just went like "what if nick wins a stuffed toy for danny at the fare? oh yeah, let's make them watch movies and fall asleep together! etc etc" - purely random clichés just for fun, but they, in fact, worked! Worked because they fit the story and the characters - Nick doesn't get along with Danny just because they are in a romcom, but because he is naive, easygoing - an unexpected characteristics for Angel as he's used to boring, serious big city policemen(police officers, har har har), because he shows Nick that his job doesn't have to be his whole life, because Danny stands up for him, after all. Relationship is all about sharing the experience and the knowledge.

Someone has pointed out the parallels between Nick's relationship with his actual ex and his relationship with Danny - how different they are, and how much better does Angelbutter work because of how different Danny is.

I think what also works in Angelbutters favor is that they aren't actually canon, so their love line isn't stretched and doesn't look far-fetched or unrealistic - it's extremely lighthearted, as it should be, and it makes me believe in it, because they act like actual people would.

All in all- I love Angelbutter!! They are extremely sweet and boyfriends material, totally on my priority list X3

P.S. i don't draw them mostly bc danny's face is complicated, but these things take time and i'll figure it out >:)

I'm more than happy to spread positivity and love, and I'll totally ignore the audacity to only give me 5 blogs and just do more hehe

I'm gonna start with @ruinedmyself because Kas was one of the first people to talk to me when I ventured into the spn fandom, and they've done nothing but make me feel incredibly welcomed <3 I love our silly little chats and also the pain we inflict on each other regularly. We really do share one (1) braincell, and I wouldn't want it any other way. You've got such a fantastic grip on Sam, on his badass-ery but also his softer and goofier side, and I scream excitedly whenever I see I got a reply from you!

No Sam without Dean, obviously, so I gotta yell about @bloodsalted a bit. Dixon is an extremely friendly person, and I'm still glad I managed to sweet-talk force you into joining me in hell. Or heaven, I suppose, is the better word, because our interactions are truly GREAT. Whether it's sexy times or angsty shit, every reply is magnificent and makes me giggle. You write Dean in all facets that make his character so lovable: his fears and passions and his silly times and also his anger. I love him to pieces!

Who doesn't love the king of hell? Cas, probably, but I adore every interaction with @murderdeals because it enables me to use all the pissed-off Cas icons. When you write Crowley, I can hear Mark yell into my ear. And honestly, I would have never guessed that Cas and Cain could become such good buddies, and yet they somehow ended up being the bestest bee bros, and that's largely due to your fantastic writing and your excellent grip on a character that can easily be branded the villain without second-guessing.

@singersalvaged should always be included in my rant about lovable people because she's just so chill to talk to! A truly great person who has an amazing view of Bobby Singer and writes him in a way that makes me believe the guy is standing behind me muttering idjit whenever I read a reply. And Allie! Let me gush about Allie, who's Cas' weed friend and brothel companion, and every single interaction just makes me howl with laughter. They're absolutely unhinged and dumb, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

While Crowley makes Cas want to eat glass, @eyeless-smiles makes him want to tear his own ears off because Corinth is such a fucking asshole (affectionate), a True Nightmare, and I love seeing him annoy Cas in every single paragraph. It's just hilarious, and they never hold their muse back, which is refreshing these days!

Cas loves to steal kids (just look at Jack), so it didn't take long for him to steal @innerwar 's Homelander when he was still a child with Vought. And honestly, I just adore this verse and you, friend? It's so funny and yet also sad, and I'm just so unbelievably happy that Homie gets a better life with this and that Cas gets to be a Dad again, and your writing is just SO FANTASTIC and catches Homelander's young voice brilliantly. 

I gotta yell about @nightmdic really loudly for a second because she is a FREAKING MAGNIFICENT OC and both Cas and I love her to pieces. She's kind and nice and helps Cas through his forced humanity without finding him (too) weird, and Paige just casually managed to write one of my favorite OCs here on Tumblr with her eye for detail and well-chosen words 

And last but not least, a big shoutout to @bleakfated who writes a lot of different spn muses (among others) and yet manages to hit that nail (= the voice of every single muse) square on the head every time! I hear Balthazar's funny-ironic voice when I write with him, I see Jody being Mom when I interact with her, I get the British Mick Vibes when it's his time to shine. I'm in awe of how someone manages to juggle so many muses and give everyone their own little voice. Kudos!

as just something general:

beakley tolerates them, though there are some she likes more than others

della is capable of getting along with each of them with some time, though things are a little rough when the kids are preteens due to louie's vents and her kind of pushy attempts to get to know/along with them

donald, having a decade of experience, does better with the kids overall; there are still things he can't quite grasp, though, and he can be overprotective

launchpad doesn't have too much of an opinion on the kids, but the kids have varying opinions of him

OZZY - beakley: she wants him far away from webby and would like him not on the mansion premises, but if he brings louie joy (and as long as he abides by louie's rule about cigarettes), then she'll just keep a close eye on him; he thinks she's too strict, but damn, does he love her cooking - della: right away, there is tension between them as ozzy is very biased against della because of louie's dramatic tellings; she doesn't know about that so she tries the hardest to get along with ozzy and he finds her a try-hard because of that - donald: ozzy likes him a lot, and even though he finds it annoying, he appreciates it when donald gives him a pack of candy cigarettes every time he comes to the mansion - launchpad: ozzy sees him as a big dumb lug- but a lovable big dumb lug

JUNIPER - beakley: she likes her cooking and always appreciates a good badass woman; beakley quickly becomes exhausted of her since juniper's like webby high on sugar 24/7, but in a lot of ways she reminds her of her granddaughter, so she tolerates it - della: while juniper isn't as biased against her, there are still some things she doesn't like or trust about her- she'll oftentimes make a quick remark that hurts della, but then follow up with a "but..." statement; della loves her and her unrestrained adventurous spirit - donald: he likes her brutal honesty, even if it hurts sometimes; she adores nurturing people, and a lot of times will go to him with trauma-related things when her parents aren't available - launchpad: they exchange mechanical tips and work on things together- they teach each other things

ADEN - beakley: she finds him incredibly infuriating as he was able to figure out webby wasn't her granddaughter in the matter of weeks in knowing her along with some other secrets of hers- once he lets her know he has no intention of blackmailing her or telling anyone else, they actually get along and she enlists his help in fishing out f.o.w.l.; he finds her interesting - della: he doesn't interact (and doesn't really let her) with her much, choosing to keep his distance and figure her out like a rubik's cube; della notices he helps beakley with things and its actually kind of a blow on her self-esteem since even beakley can get along with someone - donald: donald isn't a fan of being able to be figured out so easily by a child, but a part of him wishes they had someone like him when della first went missing; the more aden looks into him, the more he likes him - launchpad: aden thinks it's commendable that someone so bumbling like launchpad can help out drake in all his crimefighting and wishes to help solve the crimes; launchpad usually mistakes him for quoting mystery movies and replicating movie scenes when he's legitimately doing detective-like things

EVERETT - beakley: they enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with the other; they like to talk about the burning world around them - della: he's dry with her as he is with most everyone- but he doesn't treat her with any hostility - donald: everett's dry with him as he is with most everyone- but he doesn't treat him with any hostility and appreciates his attempts of hospitality - launchpad: neutral on both ends

XIMENA - beakley: they love each other and ximena can be found in the kitchen with her during dinner time, preparing sweets - della: ximena treats everything said both ways with a grain of salt; she's aware of the hurt that's been inflicted, but she's a big believer of second chances and people changing; della thinks she's sweet - donald: she personally took the time to teach donald to cook certain things- they exchanged stories about their families and donald emphasizes with her - launchpad: they're just two little dorks going on with their days

KIWI - beakley: kiwi knows webby isn't her granddaughter, but she, too, isn't going to tell anyone- she isn't as close as aden is, but there's a mutual respect of sorts; kiwi reminds beakley of webby in some aspects - della: kiwi likes to keep an open mind, so she freely gets along with della; della likes her enthusiasm and joy - donald: they like each other, though there isn't anything notable to write home about - launchpad: kiwi thinks he's funny

NIX - beakley: mutual dislike; nix doesn't like how strictly protective beakley is - della: nix has a very strong dislike for della for the whole glomtales thing- this opinion sticks around for a while; della tends to steer clear a bit since nix looks like she wants to kill her half the time - donald: nix feels about him the complete opposite of della- yes, he may be too protective at times, but it isn't as strict as beakley; donald wishes she didn't see his sister the way she does - launchpad: neutral on both ends

DEAN - beakley: dean, in a way, looks up to her- though, he does agree that she's too strict; beakley sees a reflection of webby in him- but not in the good way - della: dean sought her out behind nix's back and the two got along through talks of space - donald: dean loves how protective and loving he is- it makes him wish he had donald as an uncle instead of his actual one - launchpad: they weirdly have deep talks that launchpad usually forgets about, but it lets dean let out some steam without much of a risk of it being found out; launchpad doesn't actually forget about them, but he'd never let dean know that

ASH - beakley: beakley does not like them; ash likes her food - della: ash makes snarky comments, but their real opinion of della is just of a bit of distaste; della tries to get along with them, but they don't really let her (it's like trying to get along with louie if louie wasn't related to her) - donald: he finds them frustrating sometimes, but they have quirks like louie; ash likes learning about the duck family through him - launchpad: he things they're a little mean sometimes

WHITTANY - beakley: whittany manages to surprise and flatter her a lot; beakley likes her - della: whittany's cautious around her, but they kind of get along at times; she's energetic and della likes that - donald: nothing too special, but they don't dislike each other - launchpad: they oftentimes engage in light conversations; they like each other

MARSHALL - beakley: she finds him annoying (and a bit self-destructive); he loves her cooking and will sometimes drop by just for something to eat- beakley usually has something ready for him - della: he's constructively critical of her, but he thinks she's pretty cool; della doesn't believe he's a real teenager (joking)- they make fun of trashy tv together - donald: marshall's constructively critical of him, but he overall likes him; donald doesn't like his self-destructive nature - launchpad: marshall makes a lot of jokes that launchpad doesn't quite get- or, he does, and he just plays along with it

SYLVIA - beakley: beakley gives her advice; sylvia looks up to her - della: sylvia believes people can change (to a... not good degree), so she gives della a chance and they get along okay - donald: they engage in small conversations- nothing to write home about - launchpad: they get along really well; sometimes a deep conversation will happen, but that's not often; she even goes to him for advice sometimes

VIVIAN - beakley: beakley sees through her facade, so she doesn't even try it around her; they actually get along, though - della: vivian is very confusing for della- sometimes nice, sometimes downright awful to her; no one actually knows how vivian feels towards della except for vivian herself - donald: he can sometimes see through her; vivian likes to see what he'll tolerate - launchpad: launchpad understands her and no one knows how

DOTTIE - beakley: the two conspire with each other and once or twice, beakley enlists dottie for a bit of a dabble in s.h.u.s.h. work - della: dottie's critical, but she lets her try- which doesn't usually go well (she'll accidentally trigger dottie a lot); dottie wants to let her keep trying, but della doesn't want to bring up bad memories - donald: dottie vents to him and tries to get him to do the same, but donald isn't going to let a child that isn't family- no matter how "mature"- hear his adult problems; he tries to let her feel comfortable - launchpad: neutral on both ends

HUNTER - beakley: he likes the surprising coziness she brings in homes; she's neutral towards him - della: they get along, as hunter actually listened to louie and didn't look at della like a she-demon; della loves his family - donald: they get along; nothing special - launchpad: they get along

I'm using you to confess my dubious feelings for the Percy Jackson series bc you also expressed like some weird feelings about it, and I kind of thought the series was untouchable bc of how much everyone I see fawns over it, and I have GOT to get this off my chest to someone who might get what I'm saying. Like the whole premise for the Greek gods being in the US is that they follow Western "progress" and it completely disregards all the amazing things Indigenous did and our way of life, and also removes the importance of place-based culture for both Greek stories and Native peoples (like okay all the Greek stuff moved to the U.S. but wth happened to all our spiritual figures?? The story completelya cts like Native people weren't here and didn't have complex beliefs and ways of life connected to the land, and the gods were just free to take over here with no issues). As a mixed Indigenous kid it just rubs me wrong in all the worst ways and the academic systems love affair with Greek and Roman stuff and Rick Riordan's sheer popularity has been forcing this stuff in my face foreveeeerrrr 😭😭 I was surprised to see your tags about the fandom being weird before too tho since I don't interact with it, so I hope you don't mind this ask and just know I kinda feel the same way!! Liu Qingge/Zhuzi Lang: Both these dudes are from Scum Villain's Self Saving System, which is a chinese novel by the author MXTX (I cannot remember the full name im sorry).

Liu Qingge is known as a 'war god' and he's, to put it lightly, Fightsexual. Boy's got IQ specifically geared towards getting into and out of fights. He was one of the strongest characters in the story (like, 3rd strongest if you dont count the protagonist's dad who was uhm 'retired' by the start of the story lol). He's also Incredibly Princely Pretty.

Zhuzhi Lang is a half-snake demon with self-esteem issues and can turn into a large snake, and can also probably give Liu Qingge a good fight! ngl I just love Liu Qingge and I ship over half a dozen people with him. Zhuzhi Lang is a top contender though because he's a sweet guy, can totally get into vore, can give Liu Qingge a challenge, and also probably has 2 dicks-

Naruseku: Yeah i can gurantee this is the only submission for them for Some Reason. Because no one ships them. Like i have searched the internet far and wide and turn up with like. Close to literal zero. And here's the thing, this is entirely illogical. They work together in this evil group and their deals are essentially that they're. Unhappy people. At first you think they're just annoying but actually they're annoying snd Extremely Miserable. In silly ways, they are such losers and so cringefail. I could write an essay on both of them individually, but basically i love how their focus isn't on being better people, it is on being happier. Individually.

The show is divided into clear parts of who is the main antagonist at the time which really makes you FEEL how unhappy they each are. They're a group but they're also not bc they choose to be unhappy ad get on each other's nerves about it and that's a prime focus of their characters. Anyway, these two make me insane, they spend a lot of time together during the middle part of the show, bc the first villain is gone so now it's just the two of them and their leader who isn't doing much yet. After this part, one of them, narcistoru, is defeated so he's gone for the time being. But these two, they hate each other SOOOOOOOO much it's insane. This is because Narcistoru is an annoying bitch and Secretoru hates that. And they're both generally insane people with dumb beliefs and issues that they view wrongly. It's just so glorious to see them annoy each other so much. Post Narcistoru's main screen time, he gets his conclusion episode. He escapes from prison and Secretoru is supposed to retrieve him. But like not because they need him, in fact, they absolutely did not care that he was arrested because none of these people give a flying fuck about each other. It's just that he wasn't supposed to be a risk. Secretoru and Narcistoru have a rather petty and hilarious fight. Because you see. Now they don't have to get along. They are not on the same side. So the hostility is really thriving here. In fact, she manages to capture him, and while fighting the pretty cures (magical girls), hensays some annoying shit and she goes "actually i changed my mind" and shoves him off this rock in order for the monster (they always summon one) to fucking kill him. Like she tries to murder him in cold blood soley because he's annoying and this was entirely inevitable actually. She wants that twink obliterated. They don't bring this up again in the finale when they're both in prison. They just. Kind of hang out now. They've reached a level of tolerance.

And you may think "why do you ship this" LOOK. THEIR INTERACTIONS. ARE SO FUNNY. IT'S JUST. A VERY FUN SHIP. BECAUSE THEY'RE HILARIOUS. The hostility is so great and i think it would be neat if they had some t4t hatesex. It would solve nothing. They mske each other so much worse. But it would be very hot. Also secretoru has a general "can you shut the fuck up" attitude towards him. I don't even technically ship it but i ENJOY the ship.

And yet. I am so alone in this which is insane because i definitely expected ship content for them even before i actually wanted it myself.

But no, of course people ship Narcistoru with actual fifteen year olds. Like so much. And there is ZERO content for the ship with the other Actual Adult that he interacts with on a regular basis and who he has a fantastic and entertaining and INTERESTING dynamic with. So basically, i am not just sad, i am also SO SALTY. They are so insanely rarepair despite being an absolute epic duo. Awesome crackship, 10/10, literally comedy
