My experience with diagnosis:

I always knew smth was off... I was the weird one no matter where I went... I had a rly rly hard time... The first time it got rly noticable was when my mom drove me to the psych ward to drop me of there after "an incident"...

To be fair I had a not ideal upbringing... A history of depressive episodes... Issues with $elfthurting behaviours... Long lasting dissociative states... The list of symtoms are endless... But...

I had no words to express whats going on... There was just intense shame and fear... I tryed to hide it the best I can...

After years of pointless therapy I felt so frustrated not being able to express myself I started doing research... That went on for over 5 years of my life untill I understood whats going on...

So after all those years... Finally having an answer... I still felt like an imposter... So I went to various docs... Got brain scans donne... Howers of talking and filling out papers... In the end diagnosed me with exactly what I had found thru my research...

So what do we learn from that?

1.) Reach out for help! If u are suffering u dont have to hide! I know how hard this can be but suffering in silence is not the answer...

2.) After years of research... Self reflection... Sneaking in qwestions here and there to get my familys and friends fews on it... I can say self diagnosis is valid... But u have to be thurrow in your research... (And then reach out for help if its accessible!)

3.) Education and self awareness are important! And probably saved my life...

4.) Trust your own experience and instincts if u feel smth is off don't let people invalidate u just because u have learnt to mask it so well...

For more context:

I have 2 personality disorders (avoidant and borderline) + a mood disorder + an anxiety disorder + a tic disorder

My avoidant personality and my quiet bpd still have me hiding and supressing and pretending its okey every day... But just knowing why things are like they are and things feel like they feel helps a lot in treating myself with the kindness I deserve...

I know there is so much fear and guilt and shame inside... We think masking it is easyer... Lets not make people worry... We can deal with it... Nuhu... Reach out for help... Even if they don't listen... It took me 8 years from my first therapist to my actual diagnosis...

We deserve better then that!

And demand the help that you deserve...

Prince Hans of the southern isles.

It so crazy how my opinion about hans has chaage trought the years

1- like first i didnt was interest in his character at all , i take him as a generic villain and since the movie told me he was the villain in my mind i give him every single trait a disney villain has. But i was very interest in his family. I remember when i try to imagine some fanfic at that time i always make character mocks him or didnt like him. makes him make silly choice didnt even tought about his motivation in the movie for me he definitly wanted to rules the world because he is a villain and well every villain wants to rule the world 😅 and i headcanon his brothers as being nice and him an annoying little brother.

2- then i began too really really really really really like the idea to have an evil prince. For me he was the best villain ! The twist was awesome , the hints brillant didnt understand why everyone tought the twist sucks ! He was for me 100% a sociopath and 100% an asshole and i was happy because i have a realistic explanation his brothers never loved him so yeah they totally transform him into a sociopath. the smile under the boat could definitly be a smirk. I didnt wanted him to be redeemed at all. I understand how people could ship hans and anna but hansanna shippers used to annoyed me because they wanted him to be redeem and misunderstood but me i didnt wanted it..😅 like in fanfic i try to imagine hans was violent for the sake of it ! Saw peope took actual symtoms of sociopath and tell that hans was not one and it upset me so much because me i wanted him to be sociopath 😅.

3-then i realize that yeah...that smile was defintly not a smirk but more a lovestruck smile after meeting a girl. Began to saw hans more as a grey character who just dont know what is good what is bad and well i think i began to ship hanna and even helsa ( thank to the goergous fanart make by fans) saw some of his brothers as really abusive. In fanfic i imagine him as some jerk who like violence. But began to understand why people didnt like how the twist was and accept the idea of him being redeem and also learn that there was a book who tell his life

4-i finally get to learn things about " a frozen heart" who totally trhow away the idea of hans being a sociopath who explain his family his background. Now my mind has change so much it insane 😅 like it is very reducing to think that victim of abuse because of lack of love are going to be turn into psychopath. Thinking someone is a sociopath just because that person killed someone also annoy me now not because i began to like hans in a different way but because human doesnt need to be sociopath to killed people.

5- finally get to really wanted to read that book myself to have my own opinion about it saw mixed review about it so gonna give it a chance one day and read it ! So still have the same view of him a grey character but have more pity for him since i read fanfic ( too much ? 😂) and small informations about a frozen heart.

6- finally buy that book but the think is that before the book arrived i try to check information about it and it lead me to tv tropes so i didnt new this website and well i spoil myself the whole book 😅. I m talking about tv tropes because it contribute to my constant change of opinion toward hans. In the website they talk a lot about the king of the southern isles and his relationship with his sons and something suprise me because i read it nowhere on the web by fan that the king of the southern isles has brainwashed his son into thinking that they have a right to pick on hans because he promot social darwinism between his children. I was surprise because for me the one who were abusing hans the villains in his hans life were mainly his brothers and not his father. So yeah learn a lot of thing , he actually hates violence , hans mirror everyone is what his fathers has taught him , hans motivation in mainly to be notice by his dad , then i finally get to read that book and i think that lead to my current opinion of him....

A great actor who definitly knows how to act like a jerk, with morality issues who has a very toxic relationship with his father that sabotage his life. 🤨

Now i m waiting maybe i m gonna again change my mind about prince hans of the southern isles ? 😄

Basically my hubby took out insurance about 10 months ago with a new insurance company. He had 4 years no claims with his old company so informed the new company of this. The new insurance company have been taking out the payments every month from our bank however we have never had his insurance documents off them. When he contacted them the other day to query this they informed him that because the old insurance company will not supply them with no claims info they can not cover him.
