i dont have time to color the rest of this bc YAAYY DMA TODA Y !! low quality 15 min hive doodle celebrating . i love dma .... so much hard work.. i might not be 100% done with all of it but today !! minecraft !!!
#it spawns them in the cave or high up on a tree and both are not good locations#JUST PUT THEM ON THE BALCONY PLEAASE. NO NOT THAT ONEEEEE WTFF sobs#its another âits normal to spawn on the roof everyone doesâ situation oh my god i just want a memorable start#THE PLAYERS MIGHT AS WELL SPAWN IN THE RIVER ALREADY DROWNING BRO. I'm curious, in your totk rewrite, would the final fight with Ganondorf be the same, or would you do something entirely different?
somewhat, this is a bit of a different take on ganondorf though, it makes more sense in context of his changed ... or added rather, backstory;
you fight him once before, not a phantom like in canon but him physically, were hes still trying to cope with the horros he had lived through being half awake for such a long time so he isnt much for talking, at the end of it he has like a breakdown that essentially causes cataclysm 2.0 (that might even open up new caves that were previously just cracks in walls too) and which spawns the miasma/memory trees that contain his memories, all of which you need to collect to unlock the ending-
structurally the final fight is similar:
theres a horde of enemies you fight all together and the sages get taken away once you reach ganondorf; when you find him hes all calm and collected but does not allow zelda to talk to him despite her understanding how it had come to all of this and her wishing for a different solution; the fight begins but over time as he loses HP he start to act differently, less calculating and like he is in control and more and more aggresively, and more jumpy like he is afraid of something
phase two he gets too cornered and activates his enigma stone + the sages rejoin you, he is visibly just trying to put an end to you using everything he has to offer, phase two of phase two, he loses it and changes into a beast form (a miasma version of the best forms we know basically, i made a sketch of it once but it was only a rly early concept; i need to put more boar features on that
(unsure whether i want this to be his engima stone active version or the actual beast one) after he changes into beast form he charges at link and zelda and essentially burrows through the earth with them, breaking through the surface in the hyrule plains where the dark beast ganon fight happened in botw, here you fight him in the open, any weathher and time of day can happen here so its a much more diverese vibe each time; he is very fast in this form, if you are familiar with bloodborne im thinking of something akin to the first phase of ludwigs fight but a little more coordinated
this fight ends with zelda telling you to shoot at her so she uses her shielding powers (sth she can also do in the game itself) to reflect your arrow in a certain angle (reference to how ww zelda shoots an arrow you need to deflect in order to defeat gan but in reverse), it hits the ornament keeping the enigma stone in place from the side and it flings off
the battle seemingly ends with beast ganon falling to the ground, zelda tries to run and take it away but gan is still awake and sees in her how sonia sealed him way back, so in a last ditch effort to avoid the fate he had just escaped (despite zelda not wanting to do any of that) lunges for the stone and swallows it
he transforms into a dragon snatching up the both of you and flying high into the sky, zelda can wriggle free but falls and while she could land safely with her paraglider gan is flying off with link so she makes a last moment decision to take in her enigma stone as well, she transforms, rams into gan to free link and a somwhat similar fight as in canon happens, though i would like zelda to be more openly agressive towards dragon-gan
sicne in this version gan doesnt have his stone on the forehead somehow but inside like you would expect you need to fly into his mouth to end the fight, assuming you have found the lab that held the moonbloom (perhaps kogas so tie him nicely into it all) needed for the reverse dragon medicine (bc i wanted to involve links passion for cooking somewhat i thought it would be cool if he takes the chrage on that to make that special dish), you now use it, causing gan to spit out his stone and reversing (still unsure whether he survives this or not, but i thought of the scene from spirited away when chihiro gives haku the lil herb thingy to make him spit out whats killing him when i was coming up with this) zelda catches you again and you use the second charge on her to reverse her as well, boom you got your epic falling scene, the sages also now have made their way up through the tunnel, perhaps they catch gan too
this is a super rough current concept for it, it might all change still so dont take this as the final version, still working on it all after all
#ganondoodles answers#zelda#totk#ganondoodles rewrites totk#again this is quickly and sloppily written#but maybe theres some good on this#though i might all change still if i can think of sth better

Judge My Diction, Not My Grammer
(my completed prose piece from multiple drafts i previously made)
Driving down the road only guessing how many youâve been down. From Brooklyn to Montague; youâll travel the world one day. Just me for miles: safe and content. The tiny volume dial spinning back and forth between my fingers getting more and more elated with every increase, the feel of the pedals beneath me, finally in control of something for once in my life. Stray coins fill the console thrashing about at every sharp turn without any damage at all. One day theyâll fall onto the floor, and never be found again. Lost under the seats like childhood dreams, I took too fast a turn to keep them safe. The car needs me as much as I need it. Without the other weâll both just sit and rust away in some junkyard, but instead we arrive at my favorite place in the world. Gas stations. But the off-brand, run-down, days from bankruptcy kind. Theyâre perfect.
The broken lights make it hard to read the price on anything, forcing you to squint until you involuntarily cry from the effort. Flickering lights in the bathroom in sync with your now racing heart as you wash your hands reminding yourself the person in the mirror is just you . The creepy guy behind the counter whoâs desperately trying to imagine what youâre wearing beneath your jacket making you subconsciously pull it tighter around yourself like a goodbye hug. Bittersweet and lingering for days. The smell of cigarette smoke and gasoline mixing in the air and pumping helium into your head, your brain floating up over the tiny shelves and right out the door. Longing to join the stars it bursts on a powerline, lighting up the sky and fulfilling its wish. Your body, a host without its parasite, stumbles about waiting for someone else to take control. Humming along with the crappy pop song barely audible in the background, taking your time in every aisle allowing yourself to just exist despite your fictitious truth. Gas stations. But the off-brand, run-down, days from bankruptcy kind. Theyâre home.Â
As home as Iâll get in this body and brain of mine. With my ribs sticking out, begging for God to make me a companion, I breathe out giving life to the trees that surround me. Swaying in my breath they filter light from above casting a halo above my covetous head - my first sin. The apples of my eye float mockingly high, shining that shade of red that makes you feel warm and re-ignites the butterflies within your stomach. Beetles and spiders and wasps crawl around through mine, clicking and popping to scare off predators - am I not enough to protect you? With my twiggy arms squeezing tight around my core and giving life to the branches you reside on? I know thereâs knicks and scratches and dents, but I thought youâd like them. Iâm sorry I donât know what you want. My brain is but a rock; dense and heavily within my skull. The cracks that wrap around have taken only moments to spawn, but now, years later, flowers sprout from the darkness. My heart is more a leaf than anything else. Jolting from side to side following the wind, even when they disagree. Rips line the edges making the original outline cryptic - the tree she came from Iâll never know. Frequently flooding Eden in my sorrows I make fruitless attempts to build protective dams around the garden. Waterfalls run down my face from the caves that are pretty only at a glance; the more you observe the worse a place they seem to be. Absorbed by the seeds of my skin; one day flowers will ornate my body turning me into the garden I know I am. Until then Iâm just a spot in the forest, isolated and esoteric, praying for it all to burn down.
A charred ghost town sits lonely in my skull. The once excited inhabitants are long gone and scared to come back. I donât remember when but the power plant exploded and all thatâs left is mother nature. Evacuated, the citizens made home somewhere else. Itâll never be the same, but at least thereâs a roof over their heads. And crime in the streets, corruption in politics, death in hospitals, and constant crying in schools.Where my hope went I donât know, but in place of pride lies an alley located between my confidence and sorrow. Dim and putrid with noises of feral cats and unsteady dumpsters. The sidewalk in front is cracked and crumbing, callous to the weary feet that tremble past. The small pop-up shop that is my confidence has only a few items left in stock. The owner seems to always be in the back; leaving customers at the register long enough for them to give up and go somewhere else. How pretty the decor is, beautiful paintings and sculptures that no one cares to admire. To the left, a skyscraper reaching for the stars hoping to become one. The multitude of floors and departments and workers and management inside is as heavy as the steel and concrete used to create their home away from home. What makes this building so terrifying is that the farther you go up the more you can see. Except the building is so high it pokes out through the clouds and at a certain point all you can see is a white blanket of faux snow calling for you to become an angel. Iâve been to the top a few times and as ethereal as it was, nothing was more comforting than racing down the abundance of stairs and straight out the door. The air is not nearly as fresh down here but at least Iâm not light-headed anymore. The cartography of my soul is still mostly undiscovered. I hope I can create the full map someday; maybe then Iâll know who I am. Maybe then Iâll be able to tell you who I am.
People try so hard to figure out what I am; but I donât know. Listening to me talk about things that seem to spike my interest as my eyes stay dull and unfeeling. All I do is drone on and on while thinking over and over šbe present, be present, be presentš. But I canât: Iâm preoccupied. Constantly aware of the fact that this isnât who I want to be. Younger me would be so disappointed and it kills me to know I let her down. I was all she had and now, she has nothing. I couldâve been so much but instead Iâm just hollow. Not empty or void or missing some important piece of me; Iâm just hollow. Thereâs nothing inside me - yes - but nothing was ever meant to be. The cavity in my chest is not meant to hold a heart, but to allow birds to perch on my ribs and sing songs that echo throughout my body when they so please. Iâm open to the world, yet hidden from society.

Uncle Clay AU: The Cave Incident
In which young children think they're invincible until they don't and Emmet develops a fear of heights
MASTERPOST
Ingo and Emmet were adventurous as kids, which wasnât a bad thing to be
-Wandering along the Trainer Routes outside Opelucid challenging people to battle, exploring Pinwheel Forest and, of course, exploring Chargestone Cave
--Like, this is normal in the Pokémon world, you battle several little kid NPCs in-game in safer areas of the region like Pinwheel Forest or Brooklet Hill
They were also quite stubborn, as many young children can be.
-They knew how the world worked, and anyone who told them otherwise was wrong
--Unless it was Uncle Drayden or Uncle Clay, because they know everything
Unfortunately, this can be a disastrous combination
-Often leading to them coming some with scrapes from getting too close to some PokĂ©monâs nest or climbing to high up a tree and someone with a Flying Type needing to help get them down
The worst example being one time after a particularly territorial group of Boldore found their way into Chargestone Cave and decided to stay, eventually causing a cave in from fighting with and other wild Poémon that got too close to their domain
-The twins had been firmly told, by both uncles, to stay out of Chargestone Cave until Clay said it was safe
--But theyâre 7 year old boys. So they don't.
---They explore Chargestone Cave all the time! They know where to go and where not to!! Their uncles are just being silly!
-Clay and several of his Gym Trainers were checking the main paths of the cave for danger zones and looking for the Boldore when a Tynamo came rushing at him
-He expected a battle for a second, but then realized it was acting...weird.
--Just moving around him frantically, dashing away, staring at him and then coming back and repeating the actions
---Clay's heart stopped when he realized it was Emmet's Tynamo
---He followed the little thing, running fast as he could, his hat falling off and getting left on the ground in his rush
----And then he discovered he could run even faster when he heard the boys [his boys] screaming for help
-The ground had broke beneath Emmet's feet while they were exploring and he was dangling off of a cliff, several levels up, with Ingo clinging to him and trying to pull him up
--Ingo was so relieved when he saw Clay that he said something out loud that he and Emmet had only said to each other in private before then:
---âUncle Claaay! Heeelp!!â
----Clay did not notice the new title he had, far too focused on reaching them in time to actually hear anything
--Clay pulled Emmet up and then pulled the boys into the tightest hug, before marching them back to the gym, hands firmly on their shoulders.
---Stopping and letting them go only once, for a few seconds, to retrieve his hat from one of his Gym Trainers
--Once back at the gym, he dropped the boys onto the sofa in his office, gave them the lecture of their lives, and then grounded them for two weeks
---Both boys were super subdued after that scare and gave a quiet âSorry uncle Clay.â at the end of the lecture
----That time Clay noticed and processed what they just called him, and that Ingo had said it earlier too
---Then he called Drayden who, when they got home, gave them another lecture and added a week onto their grounding
----Because Drayden hadnât known they were in Driftveil, and while they were allowed to take the train between Driftveil and Opelucid by themselves, they have to tell him first and they knew that
-----They hadnât because then Clay would have known they were there and stopped them from going into the cave.
------Ergo very grounded
-That adventure is what spawned Emmet's fear of heights.
--Nothing like almost falling to your death to give you Traumaâą

upgrade swamps. add better trees and new foliage. give me water hyacinths or give me death.
incorporate mud into the bottoms of the lakes. Bring Back Fireflies- introduce dragonflies with them as well. butterflies and moths, too. make bigger trees more common in forests so their both more realistic and easier to traverse. consider a rare biome called an ancient forest where all the trees are massive [think a jungle, but with less undergrowth and all the trees are oak.] add different undergrowth. add bushes and new grass like flowering grass and prairie grass and clover and ground plants. add more vine types like ivy and leaves like glowberries [wisteria? maybe.] incorporate moss into forests and add more moss types. make petrified oak itâs own wood type and add petrified forests. make jungles That Much More annoying to traverse by adding poisonous plants. add cenotes because theyâre cool.
add carnivorous plants that can eat bugs and possibly produce materials from it [firefly = firefly glow, butterflies = butterfly dust, both can possibly be used as a potion ingredients, which could be justified since most carnivorous plants live in swamps. you know what else lives in swamps? yeah]. add more mushroom types. make some of them edible for the funnies. Bring Back the Birch Forest Overhaul [my BABY :wails:]. consider tree limbs that can be cut down with silk touch and used as barriers [around the same thickness as a wall, but they canât connect to each other, though fences and walls can]. add birds to roost on said tree branches- initially they donât do anything except add ambience [as they should], but perhaps they can drop special feathers that give effects to arrows [blue = speed, red = damage, etc etc].
bigger birds as well ; flamingos in lakes, hawks in the desert, penguins in frozen oceans. make them all tameable or at least able to perform tasks for you- flamingos can sift through the sand for treasure. penguins can fish for you. hawks can hunt for you. make it rabbits specifically, we all know how hard those are to hunt. you know what, add salt lakes for flamingos. add salt flats. add white beaches around warm oceans. add a rare white desert variant. add more flora to deserts in lush deserts or chaparrals. palm trees and oasises that grow special plants around it. add succulents- not just little echeveria but the big agave and aloe vera as well. add joshua trees and palo verde. make palo verde wood green, just to be special. add arches and hoodoo [these things] and various other sandstone structures. introduce gold panning possibly alongside archeology. add vultures that you can tame to protect you from husks [WHY donât they burn in the sun. idc if theyâre desert zombies. itâs horrible].
add desert poppies. no specific reason i just think theyâre neat. add california poppies. make it so they only grow in a specific coastal mountain sub-biome. yes i tried to search up where they normally grow but minecraft is known for being hyper-specific about things so iâll let this slide. speaking of segways, add yellowstone-style calderas. have them contain a special wildly alkaline water that has the same properties as lava, aka it will kill you if you try to swim in it. you can bottle it if you want to make potions with it. geysers also exist and can send you into the air, though they have a high chance of burning you if your too close to the hole, but you can use it to boost elytra.
consider earthquakes that can knock unsupported blocks down and open cracks in the floor, consider tornadoes and hurricanes that can flood holes with water and break weak blocks [i.e wool, leaves, banners, glass], consider whirlpools that are essentially just free moving bubble columns that are just there to mess with you. add puddles that spawn during rainstorms and underneath dripping water. add intentional seaside caves that have sand lining the floor. actually yknow what just overhaul beaches. make seaside cliffs look cooler. add beach-specific plants like beach grass and ice plants. more types of water plants- different species of kelp and sea grasses. add more ocean fauna. add ocean stacks. add special islands akin to the galĂĄpagos islands with weird ass biodiversity. add black sand beaches.
add volcanos and their sub-biomes, like volcanic fields filled with pumice and volcanic valleys with special soil and flowers and volcanic tunnels formed by old lava tubes. add fumaroles and crater lakes and hot springs. add ash and soot that functions similarly to snow that can also be found after a fire. add underwater hydrothermal vents that support special ecosystems. make the oceans deeper come ON bro. make it so it gets darker the further down you go and, unless you have a special helmet enchantment, you start to die from the pressure [ntm suffocation]. add bioluminescent fish like the stoplight loosejaw and anglerfish. add the blobfish but it actually looks normal this time. add rare bone structures similar to the ones in deserts and swamps that are home to bone worms and giant isopods. make it make sense by adding whales.
maybe even sharks. make them neutral like wolves. make some of them like nurse sharks or lemon sharks tameable, and you can use them to herd fish similar to cats and creepers. add whale sharks that you can mount though they are incredibly slow and canât be controlled. add greenland sharks that do literally nothing except vibe. add seals or sea lions or walruses, which can be passive, neutral, or defensive, in that order. add otters that you can also tame to catch fish and collect treasure. add beavers that build dams and produce special new blocks that resemble broken wood and wood pulp. add grizzly bears. make salmon travel upstream. make fish breedable to produce roe that is a quick, albeit rather poor food source. add rice that grows in shallow water. screw it, sushi. add ducks that function pretty much like water chickens. add more fish to rivers like pike and bass and catfish. make rivers bigger btw. add lotuses and algae and water lettuce and duckweed and maybe even⊠water hyacinths, perhaps? do you see my visions.
#đ”#đ#hey [<- unwell]#alexâs mobs 2 : the worse edition#these are all Very Much just me having thoughts on my head but imagine how cool some of these would be ingame#minecraft

Nether Time!
Cassie and Petra need to get stuff from the Nether! Itâs been a while since theyâve done this.
âNether time!â Petra sang as she leapt out the portal.
âNether time!â Cassie Rose chimed as well, landing right beside her friend.
The two exchanged big grins with one another. Cassie was holding onto her outfit so tightly she thought itâd tear.
Itâs been ages since theyâve been in their house together. Everything still looked and felt the same. The red and teal carpet was still covering the netherrack floor, still stained and torn, the walls were that weird combination of wood and netherrack that she remembers so fondly, shelves and counters surrounded them, holding both theirâs and the previous ownerâs items. Those four cushioned chairs they placed in the upper left corner of the house--the âkitchenâ--have yet to move. The kitchen itself was just a few chests filled with food, a battered stove that stopped working years ago, and a cauldron with strange splatters in it. There were also the remains of their kitchen table. Used to be fine, sturdy wood, but when they first arrived at this house, monsters were trying to break in, so they had to use the base of the table and the legs to fend themselves. The decorations were still hung up too! Bells, chimes, other sorts of art pieces attached to strings that hung from the ceiling, just as Cassie remembers it.
Well, it technically isnât âtheirâ house. Their portal just happened to appear inside this strange old place one day, and they claimed it. Finders keepers, you know? Besides, the previous owners were probably long dead.
âCome on, we need to get your pumpkin.â Petra made her way to the counters beside the portal. The countertops were covered with broken weapons, ores, and strange nik naks they found over the years, and sitting in the middle of it all: Cassieâs white pumpkin.
Petra grabbed the hollowed fruit and spun it around in her hands, âYouâll be happy to hear Iâve been taking good care of your other pumpkins back at the cave.â
âThatâs impressive, considering you somehow managed to kill a cactus that one time.â
âHey, I already told you that stupid cactus killed itself. I was gone for one day, and when I came back, it was dead. I did nothing wrong.â Petra denied as she tossed Cassie her pumpkin.
Cassie quickly dropped her extra set of clothes to catch her it, âDid you water it when the soil got dry?â
âItâs a cactus. Waterâs irrelevant.â Petra avoided Cassieâs little glare by facing the counter again and sorting through the random items.
Cassie held the pumpkin in her hands and stared at it for a moment. Itâs been a few years since sheâs worn it last. Memories were flooding through her. She still remembered how she first got her hands on her first pumpkin; she stole it from a crazy old guyâs backyard. She just happened to spot it while walking through a random town one day, Petra told her âIf ya like it, get it.â And she did exactly that. It was a real strange pumpkin. When the two cut it open, it hardly had any guts, and the inside smelled like⊠Nothing. Well, it smelled âwetâ if that was possible. The sorta wetness youâd smell in a forest after itâd rain. They were surprised at how durable it was too, which soon sparked the amazing idea of shoving her head inside the pumpkin and using it for protective gear. It sounds ridiculous--heck, it probably looks ridiculous--but it works, and Cassie likes it, so thatâs all that matters.
Cassie ended up planting the few pumpkin seeds years ago, and before she knew it, she had a bunch of = pumpkins to last.
Cassie can trust Petra with the pumpkin care, but she always makes sure to check in on them. That white pumpkin got her into plants, she even has a few houseplants back at home, but sheâs still too embarrassed to tell anyone yet.
âOh!â Petra snapped her fingers. She dashed back to the portal, shoved the upper-half of her body into the vortex, then came back out with her Wither Skull in hands. âNearly forgot this bad boy.â
âIâm surprised that thingâs still in one piece.â Cassie said while she watched Petra grab a cloth from a chest in the kitchen.
âRight? This thingâs insane!â Petra exclaimed as she cleaned the inside of her painted skull. âOne time I forgot it outside, a quake happened, and when I ran out to get it back, a tree landed on it and it was still in one piece.â
âYou ever thinking of repainting it?â Cassie asked. She began putting on her long, oversized, dark blue pants over her leggings.
âNah, the stripes are iconic. â Petra tossed the cloth aside then shoved her head into the skull.
Cassie let out a grunt as she struggled to put her large long-sleeved shirt over her hoodie. She knew she was going to be drowning in sweat with three layers on, but thatâs three extra layers of fire protection. When she finally got it on, she began tying the belt around her waist and slipped on her thick, brown gloves.
As she was adjusting her gloves, Petra handed her a crooked pickaxe and a worn-down sword.
âIf I knew you were cominâ over today, I wouldâve made some better tools for you.â Petra said. She was holding a blue backpack in her other hand thatâs seen better days. One black strap had been completely torn off while the other was just barely holding on. There were holes where the buttons used to be. Hopefully itâll be able to hold their stuff.
âNah, donât worry about it.â Cassie said, holding the tools by the sides of her arms. âWeâre just gonna pick up a few things anyways.â
Cassie stuck her head into the pumpkin.
âYou ready?â Cassie asked, her voice muffled. She took the weapons out and held them firmly.
âSuper ready.â Petra smiled as she watched Cassie twirl the tools around before shoving them into her pockets.
Petra swung open the front door, and a horrible heatwave rushed in and hit their faces. Cassieâs eyes watered. Youâd think after all those years of exploring the Nether, sheâd get used to it, but it always seems to get worse each time.
Petra held the door open with her foot and the girls made some quick, last-minute readjustments with their outfits.
Cassie glanced to the side and spotted a familiar sign hanging under the doorknob. It was a piece of oak wood with the words âNo Boys Allowedâ that she made as a joke. That was way back when they first spawned into this house.
âWhy do you still have that old sign up?â Cassie asked, surprised it hadnât burnt to a crisp.
âTo keep the boys out.â Petra said casually as she closed the door.
âBut weâre the only two here though.â
âAll thanks to the sign.â A little smirk formed on Petraâs face.
Cassie rolled her eyes and gave Petra a playful shove as they went out into The Neighborhood.
The Neighborhoodïżœïżœïżœ A sweltering ghost town. Awakening members used to live here years ago. Their âhomesâ were just hollowed out holes in netherrack hills, making the place look more like a Hellish wasp nest than a cozy neighborhood. The openings were usually covered in old wood, and their front doors were rather busted or missing. And the way these houses were placed in such unorganized clutters just felt⊠Wrong. People werenât meant to live in the Nether.
Any leftover space was taken up by Nether portals. It didnât matter if the space between the houses were huge or cramped, people found ways of making the portals fit. Maybe the Neighborhood looked real pretty when the portals were all activated, but theyâve been deactivated for years, and Cassie and Petra werenât planning on lighting them up anytime soon. It was bad luck to reactivate dead portals.
âSo what things you lookinâ for again?â Petra asked.
âGoldâs high on the list,â Cassie replied, âwe also need extra iron, extra flint, and some netherrack just in case.â
âAwh shoot, what?!â Petra froze. Her tone turned serious.
âWhat? Whatâs up?!â
âDo you know how hard it is to find netherrack!? Weâll be looking around for hours!â Petra exclaimed, standing on the netherrack floor. Surrounded by netherrack hills. With a netherrack covered sky.
Cassie couldnât see Petraâs face, but she KNEW she had that big, dumb smile.
Cassie gave her a quick bonk on the skull and bent down to gather an arms-full of netherrack chunks, all while Petra was laughing.
âDamn, talk about lucky.â Petra teased, âYou always had a good eye for rare items.â She slipped the bag off her shoulders and opened the flap for Cassie.
âYeah, yeah. You gonna be messing with me the entire time weâre here?â Cassie rolled her eyes as she shoved the netherrack into the sack.
âAwh, come on, itâs been almost two years since weâve done this. Iâve missed ya.â Petra said. The two began walking again. âItâs really boring without ya, you know?â
âMan, has it really been two years?â Cassie stared at her feet, a feeling of guilt starting to gnaw at her.
âBut I mean--mentally, itâs only been two days.â Cassie said, looking back at Petra.
âEx-ACT-ly. Time doesnât move unless weâre together. Common knowledge.â Petra gave her a grin. Cassie couldnât see most of it, but she could feel it. It was reassuring.
The two stepped over a wooden bridge that was splayed out over the ground. Itâs been there since day once, wood planks, rope, and all. They kept telling themselves theyâre gonna move it, but they never do. Itâs not like itâs a huge obstacle or anything.
There was a lotta stuff like that around the Neighborhood. If you looked up, you could see more bridges hanging between the hills, many of them missing their planks or dangling by their threads, and a bunch of the houses built into the top of the hills had staircases, ladders, or ramps that stretched all across the area. Cassie and Petra had the âfunâ experience of finding out which ones were stable or not.
âSo, shouldnât we start looking through the houses or somethinâ?â Cassie asked, her eyes scanning the dozens of houses theyâd have to scour through.
There were still items in these houses. Even though this place was abandoned years ago, a looming presence remains. Dirty dishes sitting in cauldrons, rotting meals on kitchen tables, unfinished letters on desks, wrinkled blankets on unmade beds, all signs that this ghost town was once full of life. Petra and Cassie have spotted many weird trinkets The Awakening members have made; chunky jewelry, small dolls carved from nearby materials, chimes, and masks that lacked eyeholes. Many, many art pieces included the Awakening symbols: A red flower with hundreds of petals, their empty eye, and the Hero. Another thing many homes seemed to have were mirrors, but they were never in one piece. Instead, they were often broken into several large parts and tied to strings thatâd hang from the ceiling, or arranged in odd shapes on the walls. Sometimes the shape would resemble their eye, but most of the time it looked like nonsense.
âNah, I have a different place in mind.â Petra replied.
âHave we been there before?â Cassie tilted her head.
âPerhaps.â Petra said, âJust gotta wait and see.â
The two stayed on the path, which was a mix of netherrack, gravel, and soul soil, passing under the hanging decor above.
Wooden poles were on each side of the path with rope tied to the tops, connecting them together while chimes, flags, and glass hung from the threads. When a hot breeze came by, the Neighborhood would create its own music. The clinking of the glass, the flapping of banners, the clattering of metal chimes, and the creaking of wooden doors created this strange but soothing sympathy to fill the silence.
âHowâre things with the other Jesse and Olivia goinâ?â Petra asked, swinging her sword around.
âFrustrating.â Cassie huffed.
âOh?â
âThings were kinda going okay until Aiden decided to basically blurt out what was happening to our Jesse. Now Stellaâs all stressed out, and we gotta keep an eye out for that cult creep, and Aidenâs probably gonna be super bummed that he made poor little Jesse upset--â Cassie ranted.
âI remember bout Aiden spillinâ the beans.â Petra commented. âSorry everythingâs been stressful.â
âItâs been so freaky with those two around! I dunno if I should be happy, upset, but Hero, everytime I look at them for more than a minute I start to feel sick.â Cassie felt that familiar queasy feeling rising in her stomach, âIâm not saying theyâre bad people or something, just that⊠Everything sucks. And having our Jesse running around isnât helping.â
âI mean, itâs a weird situation. Donât blame you at all for feeling that way. Heck, even when I first saw them I was thrown off. Felt like two freaks wearing Olivia and Jesseâs skins.â Petra noticed her friend falling behind and waited for her to catch up.
âThatâs a fun way to put it.â Cassie said, trudging along.
âJess and Liv,â Cassie mumbled, âtheyâre nice, but I canât wait for them to go home. I wanna forget this ever happened. They make me miss those two all over again.â
âI can imagine.â Petra went quiet when Cassie joined her side. The sounds of the Neighborhood filled the air.
Petra extended her arm out, âIâm here for ya, though, ya know? If you ever wanna complain, cry, or get angry about that Radar guy, Iâm always here.â It was hard to see it, but through the gaps of the skullâs teeth, Petra was giving her a smile.
âThanks.â Cassie took one hand out of her pocket and went to lock arms with Petra, something they used to do years ago, âI mean it.â
âCourse.â Petra said.
And with that, the two picked up the pace.
Petra glanced at her friend then glanced at the various portals surrounding them, âIâm gonna guess Jesse and Olivia didnât walk through an obsidian portal, right?â
âNo, some weird blue portal. Probably lapis. I wish it was somethinâ as easy as obsidian.â Cassie sighed. âIâm guessing you havenât seen Jesse recently?â She asked.
âNope.â Petra lied, âNot yet. Iâll let you know though.â
Cassie gave her a nod and looked ahead. They were nearing the Nether Fortress. Their Nether Fortress.
Seeing this place after so long⊠It was like seeing it for the first time again. The broken, tall towers, the bridge stretching across the sea of lava, the ruined railway system, it was so otherworldly. The only thing missing were those hundreds of monsters crawling around the place that Cassie and Petra used to beat up.
That wide open bridge over boiling magma--with the Fortress being so close--was just begging Cassie to run across it.
Petra noted Cassieâs excitement and unlocked arms with her.
âGo âhead, Iâll be right behind ya.â Petra said with a grin, and on cue, Cassie bolted off to the entrance.
Memories of the two of them raced through Cassieâs mind. The hot air hitting her face, the colors blurring together, her feet stinging each time they hit the ground, it was just like old times. This was liberating.
âHey, Iâm winning!â
Cassie whipped her head at just the right time to see Petra taking the lead.
âNot for long!â Cassie hollered as she picked up the pace.
They were both set on the entrance. Cassie could see Petra out of the corner of her eye. She could feel the confidence radiating from her, like she knew she was gonna win. But not this time.
When Cassie was just feet from the entrance, she dived. She crashed into the ground, her pumpkin making a loud THUD when it hit the floor.
Before she could push herself up, Petra fell on top of her. She mustâve had the same idea.
Both of them were laying on the ground, panting and laughing.
âPretty sure I won.â Petra finally said.
âNu-uh, my hand made it past the entrance first!â Cassie shot back, still breathing heavily.
âYeah, but your hand didnât touch the ground first, so technically--â
âSince when were you about technicalities?!â Cassie exclaimed. Petra could hear the laughs between her words.
âAlright, if itâll make you happy, then Iâll admit itâŠâ Petra got up and helped Cassie to her feet. âWe tied.â
âAbsolutely not.â
âWelp, guess weâll never know who won.â Petra shrugged. Cassie gave her a playful shove.
âYeah, yeah.â Cassie adjusted her belt. The two stopped and faced an intersection of three hallways.
âWhich way do we need to go?â asked Cassie.
Petra glanced at the wooden arrow signs above then pointed ahead, âStraight, then a left, then straight again.â
âGot it.â Cassie started walking and couldnât help but snicker at the words on the signs. There were a bunch of those signs hanging around here, their original words have long since faded, so she and Petra took some creative liberties.
Cassie recalled those directions, they were heading towards the âSpicy Abyssïżœïżœïżœ, which was the second bridge on the other side of the Fortress. It's in ruins, so the two of them just like to sit on the edge and enjoy the view.
The middle sign was âLotsa Boxesâ, which is the hallway theyâre currently walking through. Itâs a rather wide hall--nearly as wide as the bridge they just crossed--thatâs filled with abandoned stalls, carts, and chests. The stalls had boxes in, on, and around them, the old carts had boxes in them, and the chests--the chests were already boxes. This place mustâve been a Trading Hall, a storage, or even a marketplace for the Neighborhood back then. The way everything was arranged reminded Cassie of the night-market in Obsidian Town; lots of trading, buying, and selling, except not in the middle of the blazing-hot Nether.
Banners hung from short poles in the walls, all shades of red, turquoise, and gold while covered with symbols and faded words advertising goods. When Cassie and Petra first found this place, they were surprised at how many tools, ores, and old books were left behind, so of course they gathered them all up and sold âem. Made them a great deal of money!
The two took a left and continued down another hallway. They were pretty close to âPetra Fellâ; those were the words on the last sign. It was one of the three tall towers you could see through the windows. It was the shortest of the bunch, itâs upper half is completely missing, but it was the best place to climb and get a fantastic view.
Cassie and Petra havenât been on top of that tower in years. The last time they were, Petra was playing around near the edge, stumbled, and nearly fell to her death had it not been for Cassie catching her. Petraâs been terrified of heights since then. Cassie canât blame her.
Itâd be nice to rush through that tower again with Petra, even if she didnât want to go to the very top, itâd be a great⊠The towerâŠ
It looked different.
Cassie couldnât put her finger on it, but something was off. She could feel it.
âHey, did that tower get shorter? Or have I just been gone for too long?â Cassie asked.
Petra didnât even glance at the tower, âAlready noticing my hard work, I see.â
âHard work?â Cassie tilted her head. Petra didnât elaborate. Cassie kept pestering her, but she wouldnât budge until they reached the end of the hall.
Where there used to be a big, gaping hole was now covered up by tons of banners. They were sloppily sewn together, trying to hide every piece of the other side.
âSo,â Petra began, âRemember how I said I had a different place in mind to find those items?â
âYeah?â Cassie answered slowly.
âAnd remember how we always wanted to build that bridge to the other side of the Nether?â A grin grew on Petraâs face as she watched Cassieâs eyes light up.
Cassie gasped, âNo, nu-uh, you did not!â
âI did.â Petra raised her brows. When Cassie took another step forward, Petra yanked the banners off to reveal a magnificent bridge that stretched across the sea of lava and connected to the other side of the Nether. It was a mish mash of netherrack, nether brick, gravel, and even some obsidian. There werenât any rails on it, and Cassie was certain it hardly had any support underneath it.
It looked dangerous.
It looked fantastic.
Petra watched Cassie take all this in. She was bouncing in place, hands over her mouth, all excited like a liâl kid. Man, Petra could only imagine what Cassieâs face was like under that pumpkin. Her eyes were probably sparkling and she had that big, dorky smile thatâs bright enough to light up this entire fortress.
âOh Hero, oh--Oh I canNOT believe you!â Cassie exclaimed, grabbing Petra and shaking her excitedly before giving her a big hug.
âHey, we always wanted to see more of the Nether together.â Petra chuckled, âThought this would be a nice little surprise for when you came back.â
Cassie let go to look at the bridge again; Petra took a lungful of air.
âAnd donât worry, itâs stable.â Petra said, âIâve tested this bad boy out hundreds of times and only had several near death experiences.â
âPerfect, great! All I need to hear.â Cassie was revved up. She dug her feet into the ground, ready to blast off, but she stopped herself. âAgh, wait. I promised Aiden Iâd come back home soon.â
âHow soon?â Petra leaned against the wall.
âLike, by the end of tomorrow, I think?â
âWell, you got here at a pretty good time, so we got, what? Several hours to work with?â Petra tapped the skullâs chin, âIf weâre fast enough, we could see some good sights and get your stuff. So whaddya say?â
Petra got closer to Cassie, âWanna see how fast we can blast through this sucker?â
Despite the skull hiding her face, Cassie knew Petra was smiling, and Cassie smiled right back at her.

This oneâs short but it exists at the very least. Just had a busy few days and Iâm exhausted but also wanted to write. So now we have this
scattered au by @hermitcraftheadcanons and pinging @helleborusangel as always because I can :3
âAlright! Thatâs going to complete contraption number one! Whack a Melon!â Zedaph said after writing the name on a sign. The sheep hybrid had set up a bit of a base in a clearing of the jungle he had spawned in. When he couldnât contact anyone, his immediate thought was he could probably rig something up with redstone to send messages.
With that idea in mind, Zed dug down to get the redstone he needed. He also got some diamonds followed by obsidian so he could get into the nether for quartz. As he was finishing that up, he ran out of melons in his inventory, so he had to farm more. With that, he started thinking about a way to make a farm, and so when he finally got some quartz, instead of working on something for communication, he just made the melon contraption.
âNow⊠what was I doing again?â Zedaph asked himself, taking some of the melons that came out from the contraption courtesy of the parrot he had led in there. âAh right! Communications! Oh but Iâm all out of quartz! Guess Iâll have to go back to the nether.â
He started to go back to his nether portal, but then noticed his pickaxeâs durability was low. He could use his diamond one, but with everything going on, he had left it in a chest down where he was mining. So Zed trotted back down to his mining area and started looking through the chests. But no matter where he looked, he couldnât find it.
Reluctantly, he just made himself another iron pickaxe, making his way back up the surface and into the nether. He would get more diamonds later. Heâd have plenty of time once his contraption was done.
~~~~~
Tango stared at the two pickaxes he held, one in each hand. He knows he only crafted one. Heâs absolutely sure of that. He had gathered enough diamonds to make it and some armor, but he hadnât bothered to make a second pickaxe. So where did he get it?
Tango put both of them in a chest in his small base. The entire thing was made out of stone even though he was surrounded by trees. Or at least, he had been. He had noticed it a bit after the sun suddenly appeared in the sky when he was finishing up for the night before resting. In his shock and joy at something working right, he had suddenly set some nearby wood on fire.
Thinking back, Tango couldnât think of it happening much before, though he had spawned near a lava lake in the jungle, so his flames and fire from the lava could have gotten mixed up. Still, it was definitely worse now, but he at least had a good way to cook food whenever a stray animal came by.
He was also trying to gather two sheep or cows for breeding as he was growing wheat for bread in replacement of meat. It wasnât the best source of food, but it was like the whole jungle had been emptied of its melons. A few oak trees were here and there for him to get apples from, but that wasnât guaranteed.
Tango had also tried going outside the jungle for better resources, but after getting hurt, he wasnât healing and couldnât get far with the jungle itself letting a good number of mobs spawn. So now his only chance was to hope a zombie dropped a carrot or potato, or somehow find at least one melon seed.
~~~~~
Zedaph came back through his portal, munching on more melons. They werenât the best food, but at least he had plenty. Since he wasnât sure what to do for food, he had just taken any melon he saw, filling his inventory with the fruit. Maybe he could go looking for something else, like chickens or sheep or something to get for food.
Pulling his tools away, Zed started exploring more of the surrounding jungle. For the most part, there were just leaves, wood and vines, but sometimes he could spot a parrot. âHello? Any chickens out there? Iâve got some seeds and Iâve already got a parrot. Hmm, he doesnât have a name yet though. Maybe heâs an Andy. Oh yeah! Iâve also got wheat for any cows or sheep. Iâve just-â
Zed reached into his pockets to switch the seeds out for wheat, only to find he had just a single piece left. It was pretty odd, because he knew he had at least six when he started looking. Or was it less than that? Anyway, it was at the very least more than two when he set off. Six or three, because he had thought about making bread, right?
As Zed thought more, he didnât really notice the fact that he was eating the last piece of wheat he had, not until it was fully gone and his hand was left empty. âWhat? Why, I think Iâve got a wheat stealer around here! Something really likes wheat, but itâs probably some sort of animal, so maybe I just need to find it and lead it back to my base. Yeah, that should help!â
~~~~~
Tangoâs back in his mines when he finds a cave he hasnât explored yet. Normally, he would just be cautious and explore, or even block it up with everything that was going on. But instead, it was all lit up. For a moment, heâs trying to think if he had just forgotten about the place, but then he also thought about his mysterious second pickaxe. This isnât just his mine, at least, not anymore. Someone else was close enough that they claimed this place as well.
Immediately Tango was rushing back up to his base. Signs usually werenât flammable enough for him to worry about, so crafting those could be helpful, and he definitely had wood to spare. He crafted up a few signs and then memorized his baseâs coordinates before going back down. He wrote down that he had been there and the exact coordinates of his base.
Tango had no clue when the other hermit would return to mining, or if they were even working in that area anymore. As a precaution, he put more signs up with the same messages, but he still couldnât help but worry they wouldnât see the signs. Though right now, that was really his only hope if he didnât want to be stuck in the jungle for who knows how long.
.
.
Etho was worried he wasnât respawning anymore when all he saw was darkness. He didnât know what was up or down or left or right. For all he knew, there was nothing. And then a comm smacked into his face.
It wasnât his comm, he could still feel it in his pocket. He turned it on long enough to see it belonged to Bdubs. But the owner was nowhere in sight. Etho started to look around for him, but all around was just inky darkness. And then it was pain.
He had reached the part of the void that you couldnât live in, that tore you apart. No matter how strong you were, the void could kill you, and it was killing Etho.
If it werenât for the lack of messages of Bdubs dying, Etho would think he were stuck here. But why was his comm here if he wasnât? As his vision was going dark, Etho had the answer. The void could kill anything, but apparently it wasnât killing Bdubs. Who knew how far down he was at this point.
On his last hearts, Etho threw the comm down as fast as he could, hoping just maybe that extra speed would help it get to its owner. It was probably already at terminal velocity, but maybe it would work.
And then Etho died again, the void stealing the last of his health: and when he next woke up, he was in a desert, all alone. It was still early in the day at that point, but already the light sand was reflecting the heat back at him. He couldnât even see any dead bushes for sticks, just cactus. Also lots of sand, the biome large enough that there was only desert around him as far as he could see.
Pulling out his comm, Etho was still grateful for the coordinates they gave. He was pretty far from spawn, but the desert, while hot, was mostly smooth terrain. He could go straight towards spawn with little trouble and hopefully get out of the desert before long. So, with little else to do, he startled walking.
Eventually Etho finally saw some sort of life other than cactus. Well, previous life, as it was some dead bushes which he broke for sticks. Still, it was better than nothing. But that begged the question of why there werenât any to begin with. That likely would only happen if someone broke them.
Then Etho realized something. He died and suddenly appeared at Renâs side. Killed and he was in the void finding Bdubâs comm. torn apart by the void, and now he was in a desert someone obviously had been. He wasnât showing up in completely random places, he was showing up near the other hermits.
Etho stopped walking and immediately started digging at the sand with his hands. He was upset that the sticks were going to be lost when someone else probably needed them, but right now dying was actually more important. He used the sand to build up high below his feet, getting into the air, and then he jumped down, the amount of damage killing him.
As he had been falling, he made mental notes. Ren at a ravine, Bdubs in the void, someone in the desert, and now-
Etho opened his eyes and was met with Impulseâs face. He tried to breath in from shock from nearly being nose to nose with him, but instead of air, his lungs were filled with water. Etho knew he was already running out of time, so he quickly grabbed Impulseâs shoulders and shook him.
Impulse seemed to wake up a little, opening his eyes. It made Etho panic for a second as his normally brown eyes were red, and the ninja was reminded of Ren, but he wasnât attacked. Instead, Impulse touched him, as if to make sure he was real.
As Ethoâs lungs burned more, Impulse died first to drowning, which normally he wouldnât like, but that meant neither of them were cursed. He started punching at a block, putting all his strength into it. Impulse hesitated for a moment, then joined Etho in his task.
Etho kept punching at the block until he finally died, but he did what he needed to. The cracks were large enough and Impulse still had enough time that even after Etho had died, Impulse was able to finish breaking the block. It didnât open up to an exit, but Impulse stared at the sliver of air at the top of the space. Etho wasnât back, but that didnât matter. As Impulse died again, he started at the next block. That missing block might still be filled with water, but it was also hope.
what other people want added to Minecraft: g u n s
what I want added to Minecraft
âąBirds
-For multiple biomes, but mainly for the forests.
-Songbirds would add SO MUCH life to the otherwise quiet areas of the game
-Ravens and crows would be awesome and could use some of the parrot mimicking AI
-Cardinals in the snow biomes would bring a GORGEOUS pop of colour into the white atmosphere
-Seriously we need something to populate the sky, parrots do NOT fly like they should
-nests in trees, can find eggs in them
-doesn't really add a use but fun new feather types would be cool
âąOwls
-technically still a bird but would go really well in covered rooftop forests and snow biomes
-we're already getting larger avians added in the form of vultures so why not more large birds?
âąMice and / or rats
-absolute precious babies
-sadly would go well with owls :(
-with cave update coming we need adorable rodents scurrying around
-lil bastards could make mouseholes inside of blocks
-will they be tameable? idk.
-adds the necessity for cheese
âąDeer
-MOJANG this is a MUST, this is a NEED
-You literally have pigs, chickens, cows, and sheep spawning in forests what the fuck
-Young bucks with different stages of antler growth? Yes
-Fawns frolicking in flower forests bc they feel safe
âąElk and Moose
-Same vein as deer
-Bigger, much bigger, neutral instead of passive, less shy
-Snowy biomes
-Better additions than fucking llamas tyvm
-Sidenote but savannahs could also really use some endangered deer-like species to help raise awareness for their status
âąSquirrels
-Mojang plz
-Adds nuts to Minecraft ;)
-Black, grey, red, and mixed colour squirrels and breeding
-Brings life to forests like songbirds and deer
âąBears
-Mojang bby you literally already have a neutral bear in Minecraft why have you not reskinned it for grizzly/brown/black bears?
âąWOLVES AND DOGS
-They NEED the ocelots and cats update
-More wolf types (red, timber, snow, black, etc)
-Actual wolf packs (the AI would be difficult to program but the doges are worth it)
-Please let the howl at the moon, if foxes get to say ringdingding all night long wolves deserve to be allowed to howl
-More dog breeds (I know that there's no reason for domesticated dog breeds in Minecraft but ACTUALLY THERE IS)
-Hunting dogs like springers that can jump and run faster
-Foxhounds :D
-Most Important Goodest Boy: Herding dogs like collies and sheepdogs
-Herding dogs could be found in plains where cows and sheep spawn and create herds
-LET DOGS LAY DOWN FOR FUCKS SAKE
-Instead of having to pen up and enclose your livestock you could form herds of cows and sheep
-Your Goodest Boi herding dog would protect them and move around with them when they graze
-Just soft peaceful minecraft tingz
-unlikely but would be so fantastic
âąRope
-climeable
-please Mojang we need this so badly
-imagine the ships? The bridges? The bell towers and everything?
âąWhales
-WHALES.
-Imagine something as massive as the ender dragon but peaceful. Allows you to stand on them (idk how but make it happen Jeb)
âąJellyfish
-Idk if y'all know this but the glow squid is a bad idea
-Dream buddy you fucked up, please use your influence to get in contact with Mojang and have them redo the vote. People would have so much regained respect for you if you tried to fix your mistake.
-Also why does a speedrunner get to tell millions of people what mob would bring more life to Minecraft? He's only playing the game for 5 minutes smh
-aNYWAYS
-Jellyfish could literally do everything the glow squid is going to and look better for it AND possibly be neutral instead of peaceful
âąOrcas
-Not much to say but it would liven up the frozen water biomes a bit
âąPenguins
-You already know why
-"phnglui mglwnafh cthulhu rlyeh wgahnagl fhtagn" is literally a quote from the enchanting table
-translates to "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
-Bet you didn't know that fun fact
-aNYWAYS add the Kraken to Minecraft instead of the shitty guardians. Thanks.
-torches get extinguished and can get relit
-if not relit fast enough Something will be waiting
âąIce statues
-we have salt in this list
-popcorn. That is all.
And finally
âąLeeks
-mostly a joke but would be a cool crop
-100% a reference to Hatsune Miku the creator of Minecraft
DISCLAIMER: I recognize that mobs are added to Minecraft to serve a purpose within the game and that many of these mobs would be better in mods and such, but I also feel like many of these suggestions would really bring so much more life to parts of the game that really need it. Even if they don't serve a huge purpose, they would still be really amazing additions imo.
I would love to see the ideas and suggestions that other people have for what they want added to Minecraft, please TAG ME if you make a post like this, I wanna hear and read it!
I found all the Pokémon in snap!! Finally!! (I had help lol)
My tips?
Just play the game, no seriously most of them are going to show up eventually on their own! Most on lvl 3 maps.
If you level up a map DON'T HIT REPLAY you will replay at your old level! Exit to the camp and go back into the map for new stuff to start appearing!
Complete quests! Try them first on your own, some of them are very straightforward and simple, some of them are gonna require a walkthrough đ
that's ok! Just understand that most of the walkthroughs online were created quickly with "wait how did we do that???" players behind them! You may have to tweak what you do to get them to work (or find a different guide)
Don't get so caught up in completion that you forget to have fun! I did this, realized I was frustrated and not enjoying the things I was achieving and took a step back! It's a buggy game, just have fun with it!
Realize you can change the lvl of any map! I did not!! Lolol in small letters it says "x to change level" There are some quests and pokémon unavailable in the higher levels!
Those are the basic ones I can think of rn đ
if you're ok with spoilers see below the cut for how to find some of the harder ones!
Ok! So some of the names of the places are just gonna be what I call them because I'm tired and don't have my switch on me đ
you'll know what I mean I promise, also I'm not including different star walkthroughs! Only how to find the Pokémon!
Lugia: I'm putting this one first because I loath it in it's entirety. I swear the rest are nowhere near this complicated
Location: Undersea Cave (underwater map) must be a least lvl 3
Instructions: Scan to take the alternate path into the deep cave (once you're at level 3 this will be open automatically but you can open it before by throwing an orb at the Clawitzer as it shoots into the cave on the left early in the map! If you hit the kelp forest you've gone too far/haven't unlocked Clawitzer yet!)
You should see Starmie swimming around, this is how you know you're on the right level and path! As you pass Tentacruel you'll start your decent to the sea floor.
Look around spastically (I'm not kidding every walkthrough video I've seen has just turned in fast, crazy circles) until you see a Lanturn against the wall and immediately hit it with an orb, you'll know you've done it in time if it dives down instead of joining the throng of pokémon swimming up.
Wailmer/lord will block your view for a second but you should see a couple of Frilish now harassing said Lanturn. Hit it with and orb again to help it fight off the Frilish. It'll be grateful to you and show you a new path! (You'll still need to scan it!) You'll find Lugia around the corner on your right (it's hard to miss!)
There's a Crystal Bloom above it near a sleeping Magikarp, if you hit the bloom it should wake Lugia up! Have fun and memorize this because you have to do all of this EVERY TIME đ
.
Celebi: It's just there!
Location: Evermore Forest (is that right??? The mystery forest)
Instructions: get to level 3 on the forest (you may have to "beat" the game I'm not sure) and make your way to the end! Don't take the Sun Field route, go where the Beware are, then look immediately to your right! Celebi is flying around and will continue to zip around you!
.
Jirachi and Absol: again they just show up after beating the game!
Location: The Ruins
Jirachi is sleeping on top of the 2nd flower pool and Absol will be hanging out near the end! Once you find/interact with them they'll be around in other places as well!
.
Mew: mew!!
Location: Jungle Forest (night) you must "beat" the game first!
Immediately upon start turn all the way around, hit the two Murell with an orb and play the melody, they'll dance and a familiar pink orb with spring out of the trees!
After a few seconds of flying around it'll pause in front of you, throw a fluff fruit at it and start snapping pics!
I haven't managed to achieve this myself yet but apparently if you manage to hit and get a picture of Mew every time it shows up, it'll then appear right in front of you at the end of the course! Get pictures and they should be flying around day and night without prompting!
.
Suicune: tiny bit complicated
Location: Snow World (names man I'm sorry) Night
So actually activating Suicune isn't hard, getting to them isn't either but it's a lot of steps!
So if you haven't unlocked the 2 alt paths for this level you'll need to do that first so let's go over that!
Start in the day at lvl 2 and look to your left to see an Alolan Sandslash, take its picture! Keep looking to your left and, just beyond Beartic, up high on a snow drift you'll spot the rascal again, again snap a photo! And he'll lead you to a new path! Hurray! (Scan for it of course)
Now that path is open at night as well so, once you're finished, head back in at night lvl 2. Take the new path and you should find a Crabominable punching trees (as you do). He'll eventually go to punch a tree on your left that an Abomasnow is sleeping beside. Chuck an orb before he punches, this'll drop snow on Mr Aboma who will wake up pissy and will scare out a Froslass, take her picture! She'll be shy and show you yet ANOTHER path! (Scan ofc) Now you may want to just explore this area first as there's quite a few new Pokémon here! Both routes are now available day and night!
Anyways once you're out of a cave you'll pass through, you'll emerge to a Jynx riding an Avalugg through the water. Throw an orb at her and she'll raise her hands. At this point look to your right and Suicune should eventually run out from behind the glacier!
(btw Glaceon is up on top of the cliff at the natural end of this level! Where all the Spheal are!)
.
Ho-oh: just chillin
Location: Volcano
Immediately look to your right between the two cliffs to catch them in flight! You have to take pictures every time they show up to get them to spawn at the end and I have yet to achieve this đ
but hey we're just here to fill out the photodex right?
.
Dianice and Jolteon: Oh THAT'S where Jolteon is hiding!!
Location: Ice Cave
I'm pretty sure you have to be at lvl 3 but not 100%
Take the Crystal Cave route near all the Croagunk (on the other side of the river) once you pass through the smaller cave, look down to find a Malwile and two Carbinks, orb all 3 of them and look to your right, Dianice will come out towards the happy sounds! If you orb her she'll give you some multi star reactions!
Her presence will have made the 2nd Malwile, the one standing on the crystal who refuses to face you, move revealing a secret path, scan for it, take a picture of the Malwile cause it's finally facing you and you'll descend behind the wall! Jolteon will be hiding in some leaves to your left! (The pictures will register! I'm sure it comes out eventually)
.
Gardevoir and Ninetales: and the winter route!
Location: Evermore Forest (again!)
Be sure to be at lvl 3 as it's the only lvl this works on (not max!)
Scan and melody until you can make a right turn, this will ensure Trevenant is out of the way of the path! Espeon will run in front of you and sit, orb her! She'll lead you to the winter forest path!
Gardevoir is hard to miss and Ninetales shows up to your right far away, and towards the end of the winter path will still be to the right but closer!
Have you managed to do the Lost Little Deerling quest/path yet? If not:
Once you pass to the next part of the forest (where Sawsbuck jumps in front of you...3 star pic btw) look immediately to your right and orb the flower. You'll hear and then see a Deerling pop up! Orb the next flower, then you'll see 2 flowers, you wanna hit the one furthest back but NOT the closer one. Then hit the Espeon flower, which will still draw out Espeon but this time she has a friend :3 papa (mama?) Sawsbuck will be thrilled (pics of Deerling to complete the quest!) and all 3 will lead you to the Sun fields! Scan to take the path, it's near those two adorable Espurrs!
If you took the winter path Gardevoir and Ninetales will be here as well! Gardevoir will eat a Fluffruit now and Ninetales will be happy with an orb!
(a loooot of the quests for this map are also in this part of the forest!)
Welp...that was long!! But I hope it helps!! Let me know if there's any Pokémon you're missing that I didn't mention!!
11. Leon
Leon had been half asleep and ready to get up at the slight sign of danger; his years of service had taught him to be always on his toes, and so he had become a very light sleeper. He was used to being awakened by random unpleasant surprises. However, the way he had woken this time made him lose a few years of life-spawn.
There was a loud crack, followed by a soft female groan, and then the cave began shaking like an earthquake. His eyes snapped open, and he was immediately on his fit with his handgun in hand. His eyes quickly scanned the cave. Claire was gone, the cavern entrance's cover laid broken on the ground, and he could hear gunshots coming from outside.
"ShitâŠ" he mumbled, getting his gun and making his way outside.
He expected the usual groans and screams that usually came with Plagas, but instead, the roar he heard chilled his blood.
"Leon S. Kennedy! Don't you dare come out now!" he heard Claire shout at him.
Don't come out? Was she insane? He wasn't going to let her fight whatever that thing was on her own.
Leon reached the entrance and saw the youngest Redfield standing a few meters away from him. Her dark hair was messy and filled with leaves and branches that had gotten stuck after she had rolled on the ground. She had her rifle aimed in his direction, and her expression was a mix of horror and shock.
"Leon, that thing is right over you. If you come out to know, it won't be good..." Claire shouted again, "I'll lure it away! As soon as the path is clear, you can come to give me a hand!"
Like hell, he would. Claire had moved further away, and he waited a couple of minutes for Claire's sign, but as it never came, he gripped his handguns and ran out of the cave as fast he could. What he saw outside was worse than what he'd imagined. The creature wasn't the same they had seen earlier. It was bigger, uglier, and even more threatening. It moved like a human-spider crawling over the surface; just like the others they'd seen so far, the creatures had no features in its face except an over-sized mouth filled with fangs. Suddenly, he caught a glimpse of red that he recognized as Claire, running right to him.
"Leon! Thank god, you're outside safely," she gasped.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he examined her under the dim moonlight. She didn't look hurt, and That sent a wave of relief over him.
"I'm fine, but we don't have time for that, Mr. agent. We have an issue here..."
"I noticed...a new friend?"
"Sure...and the bastard isn't leaving me alone without a fight. Want to be a nice friend and help me?"
" What are friends for?"
The fight against the thing was hard, they wasted a lot of ammo, and the beast didn't seem to flinch. The silence of the night got broken with the sound of gunshots, roars, and screams. The creature was strong, and after a few minutes of the fruitless fight, Leon knew that they had little chances to defeat it. They were wasting themselves and precious ammo.
"ShitâŠ" he groaned, putting more ammo in his gun, "This one is no joke. "
"Any plan, Mr. Agent?" Claire gasped, covering him.
Run, that was all he could think at the time. With some luck, they could use the trees and the terrain to their advantage and lose it. Maybe they'd stumble with some of the locals, and that would distract the horrendous thing. It was a high bet, but it was better than wasting ammo and having the thing kill them eventually.
"Let's run. Save the ammo unless it is necessaryâŠ"
Claire nodded at him, and both turned around and began running as fast as they could through the woods. They could hear the groans and steps of the monster chasing them, but either of them wanted to stop and see how far it was. Their race came to an abrupt end when they found themselves in front of a high cliff. The only way across was an old hanging bridge that wagged too much for his comfort.
Fuck comfort, Leon thought as he and Claire ran through. The damn thing kept moving and moving, making it hard to advance without tripping and falling into certain death. Either they were caught and killed, or they fell off the cliff and died. None of the options were appealing.
The creature had already caught with them; it seemed to hesitate with the bridge, but Leon knew that its hesitation wouldn't last for long.
"We are almost there, Claire. Hurry."
The woman didn't answer. She was almost breathless when they reached the end of the bridge. The monster was half of it, and without hesitation, Leon pulled out his knife and cut off the ropes. The effect was instantaneous, the bridge broke down under the weight of its horrible body, and they saw, with some relief, how it vanished into the darkness of the cliff.
Well, at least that worked.
Leon checked himself. His wounds were numerous, but all of them were mostly scratches and not life-threatening. He was relieved to see that Claire was in a similar condition. Her clothes had gotten torn in many parts during the struggle. He saw blood on them and several injuries, but, like his, they seemed to be small scratches. However, there was something that still worried Leon. Claire's concussion was already an issue, and he didn't know if the new hits had added more damage.
"ClaireâŠ"
She didn't answer as she was catching up her breath with her look completely distant.
"Claire, talk to me," Leon insisted. He needed to evaluate her condition, and talking was one of the simplest ways.
"I'm all right," she replied in a shaky voice that made him frown, "Just a little shocked and breathless. Give me a minuteâŠ"
Leon nodded. Her reply seemed reasonable. While Claire was recovering, he decided to scout around for a bit. It was too dark to make out anything, but they needed to find a safe spot for the rest of the night. After that thing's attack, he wasn't in the mood to cross paths with another unfriendly monster. He found a small building a few steps from them that seemed like a storage shack. The door was locked with a chain, but Leon broke them without effort and pushed the door open. The place was small, dusty, and filled with boxes with undistinguishable contents in the darkness. It wasn't pretty nor comfortable, but it looked safe enough, at least until dawn.
The young agent made sure to lock the door before letting himself fall to the cold floor next to Claire; he rested his back against the wall and looked at the redhead on his side. She seemed to be recovering her breath slowly and was busy trying to fix her reddish locks; he could see her shoulders move as she tried to ease the rhythm of her breathing.
"Nice look..." he whispered in a teasing way as he pulled a stick out of the mess of dark locks.
"Haha..." Claire said sarcastically, "I think I lost my hair tie. Just great..."
"I find it nice. You should wear it down more often..."
"You gotta be kidding me..." Claire blurted out. She shook her head and laughed, "We're in a crisis here, and you can still flirt?"
"I am not flirting," Leon chuckled, "Just being honest here..."
Claire shook her hair a little, throwing a bunch of leaves over his lap.
"Don't mock my hair, Mr. Perfect-hair-all-the-time," she snorted while she rubbed her arms, an action that didn't pass unnoticed by his sharp eyes.
Of course, she's cold.
Unlike him, Claire had failed to bring a jacket, and her current outfit wasn't exactly warm. Hughesville had been in the middle of summer, and naturally, Claire had been wearing a casual and fresher attire that didn't suit the cooler weather of their current location.
Claire bent over in a sudden coughing fit, but he could do anything more than rubbing her back in a comforting way.
"Thanks," she said, "I don't know what was that for."
"You're coldâŠ" he commented.
"A little, blame Hughesville for being in summer. I regret leaving my jacket in my office."
"You can have mine thenâŠ" he replied, taking off the piece of clothing and putting it over her shoulders.
"You'll be cold nowâŠ" she complained, but he noticed the soft hint of gratitude in her voice.
"I'll bear with it."
"You're going to make me feel guilty. At least stay close. We can warm each other."
"Is that an invitation?"
"Don't push it, Kennedy, Chris isn't the only one with a good hook."
Leon laughed. He'd never doubted Claire being a dangerous woman to mess with, but somehow, he felt like teasing Claire was a way to relax, considering their current predicament. Even if she had made herself sound angry, he could feel her body relax by his side.
"Are you okay? You didn't hit your head again when I wasn't looking, did you?"
"I don't think soâŠ" she replied, " Not that hard, at least."
She had laughed at the last statement, but he wasn't weren't dangerous, but if she kept getting hits, that concussion could grow into something worse. Leon felt Claire's head fall on his shoulder, but he was aware that she was still awake.
"Sorry...my headache is killing me. I am starting to feel dizzy again."
"That's fine. You can pay me back with your lap next time."
She laughed, and the sound of her laugh was sort of comforting.
"How long will it take Chris to come? Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying my time with you, but I'd rather do this somewhere without B.O.W's and without a killer migraine piercing my skull."
"I have to admit I'd love that, too. We still need to meet up in normal conditions, Claire."
"I am starting to suspect that the meeting will never happen."
"We will make it happen. Maybe we can grab a bite when we are out of here?"
"That sounds splendidâŠ" she chuckled, but he soon heard her laugh die away. "I am sorry, Leon."
"What are you apologizing for?"
"You shouldn't be here. It was me who these people wantedâŠ"
"Don't be stupid. I am glad that I am here with you. That way, I can make sure that you'll make it home."
"Yeah...of course." she said softly, "Barry still owes me that lunch. I just hope it won't be a sandwich."
Leon snorted. He had heard about that inside joke from Claire. Barry and his sandwich references were gold.
"You can get it when we return. Oh, and you should treat me for dinner, too. After all this mess, I might deserve it."
"Sure. I can do thatâŠ"
"How about some home cooking? Chris was bragging about your amazing cooking skills, and yet I've never tried it before."
"What's Chris doing bragging about my culinary skills?" she sighed, "Well, fine, I will cook for you, but I warn you, don't expect anything too fancy. I haven't cooked in a while."
Their talk about food made him remember how thin she was. Claire hadn't been fat, to begin with, but something about her appearance now was unsettling. She was a little underweighted, or at least that's what he felt. Maybe she had been skipping meals due to work; he just hoped it wasn't something serious.
"Want to sleep?" he whispered.
"Not yet. I need the adrenaline to go down first. We could talk in the meantime. Of course, unless you want to sleep..."
"Nah, talking doesn't sound bad. I don't usually get friendly chatting during missions, but I can't say it isn't a nice change."
"Then tell me about the misadventures of the great agent Kennedy. I bet you get to save tons on damsels in distress each time. You seem to have experience saving my butt."
"I don't think the title damsel in distress and Claire Redfield go well in the same sentence. You are the one saving my ass all the time."
"Maybe years ago, but I can't beat your experience, so...what was your last mission?"
Leon knew that Claire was probably doing casual chatting by asking about his job. She would always do that and avoid the subject of her misadventures. She probably had her reasons to avoid the topic, but he was as curious as she was about what she had done in the last past years, and he probably wouldn't get a chance to talk to her that openly when they got home and her brother hoarding over her.
"It wasn't anything interesting. Just the usual. After the incidents from two years ago, I've only gotten minor tasks."
"It was a tough thing for you, guys. Chris was in bad shape when he came back, physically and mentally. I imagine you were, too. I heard about what happened in Tall Oaks. We lost many of our people there, and I wished we could have done more, but the organization was in chaos at the time, too."
"That's fine. I think I've gotten over it."
It wasn't entirely true, though. Leon hadn't quite gotten over it. He'd had his mourning period, but that didn't mean that the memories didn't hurt. He had lost more things than he could have ever imagined in one single night.
"I am sorry I made you remember that. I can see it still hurts. "
Leon wondered how Claire could see that. He knew the woman was very sharp, and even when she didn't hit the nail all the time, she was usually never too far from it.
"What about you, miss head of branch?"
"Don't sweat it. I didn't want that job to begin with, but after many circumstances, I decided to accept it."
"Got tired of hunting zombies and mutants?"
"Not quite. I just realized how many glitches TerraSave's structure had. It was nothing that I could fix with the power I had at the time, but I could do it if I accepted the role as head of the branch. Power and ranks make a difference. It was tough at first, convincing the higher-ups and everything, but in the end, they all saw the reason behind it, and I think they were pleased with the results."
"Your promotion was a recent thing, wasn't it?"
"Yeah, a little less than a year. My last mission was on an island in South America. Another testing field concocted by Umbrella's remaining lackeys."
Leon remembered hearing something about that. He hadn't read the report, though, but Hunnigan had said something. A group of famous Japanese models had been slaughtered on an island by a viral outbreak and B.O.W's running rampage. He had heard about all the chaos and tragedy it had involved, but Hunnigan never mentioned Claire's name.
"You...were there?"
"Yeah. I got myself in a bad spot and ended up being saved by Parker and the B.S.A.A. Some months after that, I was named head of the NA Branch. I haven't been active in the field since then, but I don't plan to stay like that. As soon as I finish with all the work I've got, I'll be back fieldwork."
He could somehow picture it. Just like Chris, Claire was a person of action and not someone who stayed all day behind a desk signing papers. Leon wondered if it was a family trait and if perhaps their parents had been like that, too.
"It took me a couple of years to see things better. TerraSave needed a change if we wanted the organization to fill the purpose it was created for, helping the people. So far, it wasn't doing such a great job, and it felt a little disappointing. I guess we were all biased and unable to see the breaches we had. It took me a couple of hard hits to come clear with it, and that's how I ended where I am."
"Maybe that is the reason you got targeted," Leon reasoned, "If you were making major changes, some people might have seen you as a threat."
"TerraSave is a salvation organization. We are not a threat to terrorists, like the B.S.A.A or the DSO are. Even with our research, we posed no threat."
"That's enough to them, Claire. Maybe you had something they did not want you to have."
"Maybe? By now, I wouldn't be surprised if we had a traitor on our side. It wouldn't be the firstâŠ" she sighed bitterly, "Unfortunately, that is not something I can control. I am not psychic to see what goes into everyone's heads after all, but I've learned my lesson. I won't put my whole trust into people."
Leon was perplexed about that, but he then remembered a report he had read years ago, one concerning Claire and TerraSave. A group of people had gotten abducted during a party and taken to a B.O.W development facility. There had been only three survivors from that incident, among them, Claire. According to the file, the abduction had been orchestrated by a man named Neil Fisher, who was the former head of the NA Branch and Claire's predecessor.
"You wouldn't be referring to the events of Sushestviviane, are you?"
"You got me there. That's why I meant. I can blame it on Neil that I am no longer able to trust people, as Moira likes to point. I cared about him and trusted him with my life, just to get sold to Wesker for a sample of Ouroboros."
Leon caught the bitterness in her words, and he couldn't help but wonder if there had been something more than a mere friendship there, but as he knew Claire, he chose not to ask.
"There are still people you can trust, though."
People like me.
"Yes, I know. Feel proud, Kennedy. You are among the top ones in my list, right next to Chris."
"Do you trust me as much as you trust your brother?"
"Well yeah, who knows if I would be here without you, rookie..."
Claire had suddenly fallen quiet. She seemed to have gotten lost in her thoughts, and unlike Claire, he wasn't that good at reading people, so he had no idea what was going through the woman's mind.
"So...Mr. Agent, what now?"
"Same plan as before. We get to that house, figure out what's going on here, and we leave."
"I don't like being the pessimist here, but what if we find more of my friends there?"
"We can handle it. What's another B.O.W to us? I'll watch your back, and you'll watch mine, that worked pretty well in Raccoon."
"Bet on that. You know I will take a bullet for you."
"Yeah, but I wouldn't want that, so you better don't go doing anything crazy, Redfield."
"Goes the same for you."
Leon did not reply. He pulled his mobile from his pocket and began fidgeting with it. Just as Leon expected, the signal was off, which meant he had no means to contact Hunnigan. He managed to pass a small message, but the agent was doubtful if it was clear enough.
"There must be something interfering with the signal."
"Well, guess that shouldn't surprise us. " Claire replied, peeking over his shoulder at the mobile "How's that they didn't take it from you?"
"I guess our terrorist group isn't bright." he replied, pushing the mobile back into his pocket, "You need to rest now."
"Yeah, I'll take that offerâŠ"
Leon felt Claire curl at his side, and it took her a couple of sighs before the woman had fallen deeply asleep. He took a look at her sleeping form and stroked a couple of hair strands from her face. Took what it took, he would bring Claire home safely.
Chan
- doesn't know almost anything about Minecraft the first time around but he plays with you to make you happy
- you have to baby him for a while
- BUT THEN!
- He goes and learns about the game in his free time
- and then he pleasantly surprises you now that you he doesn't suck anymore
- and most peculiar of all
- he got really interested in redstone
- boi can make some INVENTIONS
- His house is like, fully automated - farm and all
- it makes you jealous but also very proud
- a pretty big pacifist
- shears, veggies and bread is all he needs
- he still big soft baby but he smart baby now
- also, would totally run around with a pumpkin on his head if you could still wear them in the latest version
Lee Know
- would kill everything that moves
- would hoard all the meat and refuse to give you any
- deforestation at its finest
- king of surplus
- playing with him is actually playing by yourself cuz he goes off on his own
- builds himself a goddamn empire!
- and no one knows where it is
- if he catches you inside his house without permission: shoot first, ask questions never
- mobs fear him, not the other way around
- will give you items cuz you're a charity cause
- actually shares when you both go mining though
- but let's face it, he's just OP
- would try to get all the cats
- totally to chase away creepers
- not because he wants an army of them or anything
- gets annoyed that he has to constantly fish because the cats keep taking them but won't be tamed by him
- he totally did not search for mine shafts just for name tags to name his cats
- DO NOT HURT HIS CATS
- or he'd cancel you in-game and irl too
Changbin
- would be super excited to play Minecraft with his friends
- he would be the first on the server to scout out the land and get resources
- however, no one warned him about night fall
- and all the creepy, scary things that spawned
- changbin lives in the ground now
- he dug a hole at the base of the mountain to take refuge during the night and never looked back
- normal person? No way! He was a mole now!
- the best at mining and interior rock design
- he would only resurface to seek out food and animals
- it was Changbin who stole all the cows and sheep, so you couldn't find them for felix
- he would have three large pins just next to his mountain
- lots of cows, rainbow sheep and pigs with saddles
- " uh...so I found these pins of animals and like...no house?"
- "What?"
- "I think the magical Minecraft fairy spawned it into the world?"
- "It's super weird. But I'm gonna kill some cows for their leather"
- "DON'T YOU TOUCH MY COWS!"
- and to your shock, a secret door in the mountain opens and Changbin comes running out
- the door made courtesy of Chan
- "He's got a diamond sword already?!?"
- it's the last thing you scream as he kills you for being near his cows
- and after a round of feeding and breeding, he disappears back into his hole
Hyunjin
- would only be about building
- he would be the first one to have a diamond pickaxe just so he could mine cobblestone faster
- would also get efficiency V just so he could speed run through the mines
- would wander through different biomes for days to collect clay so he could make concrete
- and while you're busy actually playing the game, he would beg for you to pick flowers on your trip so he can dye the concrete different colors
- his first house would be a mansion
- but he would give up half way because he kept falling off the roof and dying
- would forget he is actually playing the game and would get scared when night falls and mobs start spawning in his unlit house
- not like you didn't tell him countless times to put down torches
- but he kept saying they ruined his aesthetic
- but now he keeps dying because mobs are literally waiting at his spawn point, killing him over and over and over again
- and he begs you to set the time to day and kill the mobs for him
- but you just laugh uncontrollably at him because karma really is a bitch
- but in the end, he ends up making an entire city, and invites the others to come and play on the server.
Jisung
- would be just like Chan
- a pure ass baby when it comes to playing minecraft, but super eager to play the game
- his first spawn would be in the middle of the night (because of server)
- and you would try to tell him to not leave the safety of spawn, but he just wouldn't listen
- "Listen, Y/n, I know what I'm doing! I'm a pro at this!"
- and he would run confidently into the night, like the actual idiot that he is
- he wouldn't get too far before he was attacked by all the mobs and got killed
- "Well that was just rude!"
- "Oh my god Jisung, I told you not to do it."
- "Well how was I supposed to know they were going to kill me?!"
- and you can only shake your head at his stupidity
- he would eventually wait until daytime, but unfortunately all of his items would be lost due to despawning
- it's not like either one of you were equipped to go and retrieve his items
- zombies sucked man! And skeletons are the worst!
- but with a new day comes a new adventure and you both head out to find a place to call home
- Jisung would run the entire way, even though he had no food to keep his hunger up
- he also wouldn't be paying attention to where he was going and would fall into a hole
- a very BIG hole
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "Really Jisung?"
- "I couldn't see it!"
- playing with Jisung would be a very challenging task, because he would never learn
- because by the time he had diamond armor and ready to fight the wither, he would have fallen from fifteen cliffs, twenty holes in caves and three ravines
- "Jisung if you die one more time I swear to god!"
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "That's it! I quit!"
Felix
- You would be so hyped to play with Felix
- You've seen him play other games, so you knew he'd be great at minecraft
- Getting the server had been his idea, the easiest way everyone could play together
- First day of spawn, Felix would already be listing off the things that you would need to accomplish
- wood, cobblestone, iron, seeds, sheep
- it was all just so overwhelming
- by the time you make your first complete set of wooden tools, felix would have iron tools already
- he'd been ten feet underground, digging for more resources while tasking you to find the animals for food, wool and feathers
- easier said then done
- and when he resurfaces and you don't have animals, he would simply sigh and go do it himself
- which would upset you because you would spend hours looking for just one god damn cow
- meanwhile, Felix would take five steps in one direction and come across hundreds of cows!!!
- WHERE DID ALL THESE COWS COME FROM?!?!?
- he'd travel the whole map just to find a jungle to get coco beans
- seriously though, how did he find the fucking jungle?
- it like doesn't exist
- except it does and Minho most likely lives there with all his cats
- Also, there's pandas!!!!!
- Felix would try and tame a panda, even though it's not possible
- When not trying to show off, Felix would be in his crappy little hut (cause hyunjin was still making the city), making cookies and cakes because why wouldn't he?
- at least he shares, unlike someone.....
- Felix would be absolutely unstoppable at the game, while you struggle to get to iron level armor (while trying to keep Jisung alive)
- Felix would have just a big ego
- it's okay though. One strike from Seungmin's sword and he'd be put back into his place
- Revenge is a dish best served Seungmin.
Seungmin
- the worst of the worst
- he would be the one to pretend to not know the game
- but really, he would be a minecraft expert
- read: troll
- every chance he would get, Seungmin would try to do something to ruin your day
- don't ever go mining with him. EVER!
- he would be the one to lead over a creeper to you in a ravine while you're trying to mine diamonds, right next to a lava pool
- the first one to explode wouldn't do any damage, thankfully
- "Don't you dare bring a creeper over here!"
- "I wouldn't."
- somehow, you wouldn't be convinced
- but you decided to trust him
- y/n clown
- you're just mining away at the diamond when a big explosion happens
- and you notice two things
- 1. the diamonds and the surrounding area were blown up
- 2. you were now in the pool of lava, dying
- meanwhile, Seungmin was running away, cackling like the evil little shit that he was
- the holy terror, that's what they would call him
- he would purposefully go out and fight creepers just to gather their gunpowder so he could make dynamite
- no one was safe from him
- except Minho
- because no one knew where he was
I.N.
- Jeongin would spend at least two days researching things for the game before actually playing
- he would want to have some knowledge before walking into hell that was the Stray Kids server
- it's okay though, because everyone loves Jeongin
- really, he wouldn't need to do a thing
- diamond armor, enchanted? check
- enchanted weapons? check
- his own cat and dog? double check
- everyone would do anything for this baby
- but Jeongin isn't one to mooch *coughJisungcough*
- even with all his presents, he would still start with the basics of punching a tree
- while others have found this skills in cooking, mining, falling into holes, redstone and building
- jeongin would be more interested in potions and enchanting
- YOU'RE A WIZARD INNIE!
- Jeongin would quickly master potion brewing
- even if it meant battling the scary blazes in the nether
- huh, so that's why Changbin was screaming so much
- he would be hired by Minho to make him potions of breathing so he could go claim an ocean monument
- Jeongin would only do it if he could help
- surprisingly Minho agrees and for the first time in 84 years, everyone gets to see Minho's character
4 Ways to Breathe New Life into the Pokémon Franchise
I love the PokĂ©mon franchise. Itâs because I love it that I truly want new installments of the game to feel meaningful, to make an impact, and to provide players with something new, different, and worth coming back for without relying on complexities that could turn away new players.
As I will talk about in a later blog post, Game Freak seems afraid to stretch PokĂ©monâs creative muscles any further; meaningful innovation has been petering out since the end of Generation IV in lieu of minigames like PokĂ©mon Contests and Super Training alongside inconsequential time sinks like Secret Bases and PokĂ© Pelago. While I do enjoy the inclusion of things to do outside the main storyline, these additional events and sidequests should not be the only significant additions to new generations of main-series PokĂ©mon games.
The main attractions of recent generations have provided slight twists to gameplay with the addition of mega evolution and Z-moves, but these changes donât fundamentally change or challenge the way players experience the game on a moment-to-moment basis. And despite the graphical and processing power of recent gaming devices, and even the long-awaited shift of the franchise to a main console, we are still getting the same low-effort and outdated battle animations weâve been seeing since X and Y. We are continually denied a more genuine battle experience with PokĂ©mon physically interacting with each other through animations that more appropriately suit each PokĂ©monâs unique identity.
So what can be done? Hereâs a short but detailed list of 4 things I would like to see in a new PokĂ©mon game, in no particular order of importance.
1.      Let the Player Character Be an Active Part of the Story
When has the player character ever been a consequential part of a PokĂ©mon game? They never speak; they never have any personality whatsoever. They never experience any growth, regardless of NPCâs trying desperately to iterate how much the trainer has grown over the course of their journey. Certainly the PokĂ©mon carried by the player character have some impact on the story, but the trainer?
Let them speak! Let the player character actually interact with NPCs in meaningful ways rather than just listening at all times. Give the trainer a personality of some sort. Donât just slap a never-changing pleasant face onto the model regardless of tense, frightening, or sinister scenarios (Iâm looking at you, Sun and Moon).Â
Giving the player character a more active role in the story provides intrigueâas a player, it doesnât feel compelling being pulled from one place to another; itâs not interesting when the only thing pushing me forward is NPCs telling me I need to get the gym badges, or stop Team Rocket. It would be much more interesting if the Player Character had some imperative reason to pursue these endeavors, rather than get involved simply because âitâs the right thing to doâ or, worse, âitâs the ONLY thing to do.â I want to watch the character Iâm controlling grow as a person and make choices that have positive or negative consequences on people they care about and the places they visit, rather than be a perpetual observer of events with no real stake in the game.
2.      Trainer Levels
Speaking of the player character, create a leveling system for them. There are so many possibilities for a system where the trainer more actively impacts gameplay. For instance, there could be a class system and each class can have unique skill trees that provide access to passive and/or active abilities that improve how the trainer interacts with the world throughout the game. It could be required to choose your path at the beginning of the game, or perhaps you can access them all throughout the game, but can only have one active at a time.
Hereâs a list of example possibilities:
Explorer: The explorer class specializes in travel, as well as tracking and catching new PokĂ©monâthis tree can be subdivided into those paths: Travel, Tracking, and Catching. This tree provides skills that assist them in accessing otherwise inaccessible locations, increasing encounter rates with rare PokĂ©mon, and specializing in different types of PokĂ© balls to improve catch chances. Experience for this class is gained through catching PokĂ©mon, encountering rare PokĂ©mon, and exploring (walking in new places, finding treasure, accessing hidden areas, etc.).
Combatant: The combatant class excels at offensive battle prowess through its three branches: Type Affinity, Commands, and Reputation. This tree allows a trainer to specialize in certain Pokémon types (up to 2) to improve their STAB damage. Eventually, you can get a skill that provides STAB for your specialized types even for Pokémon not of those types! You gain access to in-battle shout commands that provide momentary buffs to your party, like improving damage, resisting a big attack, or improving critical hit ratio. A strong reputation will allow you to avoid battle even with trainers who have caught your eye; and in battle, an enemy Pokémon may flinch due to your intimidating presence. Experience is gained by knocking out Pokémon, winning battles, using moves of your type specialization, and issuing commands.
Breeder: The breeder focuses on developing deep relationships with their PokĂ©mon. Skills of this class can be divided into the Breeding, Bonding, and Healing branches. Through this tree, trainers can hatch eggs more quickly, improve high IV chance from newborn PokĂ©mon, develop friendship levels more quickly, etc. Bonding provides PokĂ©mon with beneficial defensive capabilities during battle, like providing a chance to survive an attack that would otherwise bring HP to 0, and having a strong will to resist abnormal status effects like paralysis and confusion. A Breederâs knowledge of caretaking allows for healing outside of battle, and can even teach PokĂ©mon how to slowly recover in-battle. Experience is gained through hatching eggs, developing friendships with your PokĂ©mon (through feeding/petting, etc.), participating in Contests/minigames, and having PokĂ©mon in your party with whom you have developed a close relationship.
The establishment of a class system like this, where experience is gained through different means relevant to each class, incentivizes players to participate in those aspects of the game, and provides extra rewards for players who already want to get involved. It makes the trainer feel like a relevant and impactful part of the team, rather than a hollow vehicle strictly used to lug the real heroesâyour team of PokĂ©monâfrom battle to battle.
And for those who think the inclusion of such a mechanic would trivialize the content, I have several suggestions: first, they could easily make the game content more difficult to compensate. Second, they could mitigate the strength of these class skills during key battles like Gym Leaders, the Elite Four, the Enemy Team (Rocket, Galaxy, etc.). Third, NPCs (especially the aforementioned key NPCs) could have access to these skills as well. Remember, Iâm asking for significant changes, and this would provide something new, interesting, and impactful.
 3.      Battle Animations
Update them. Itâs that simple. Let Blastoise shoot water out of his water cannons rather than out of his face. Let Scorbunny run up to its opponent and give it a nice kick! Get rid of the old, outdated animations of a drawn footâwe now have well-rendered 3D monsters on gaming systems capable of handling the graphical processing necessary for this to happen. Give each PokĂ©mon a more unique identity with their animations; make them feel like theyâre actually in a battle with one another. Itâs time.
I acknowledge that providing significant animation updates for the 800+ models is an enormous undertaking that would require a massive amount of time and manpower to make possible. To this I say: spend the time doing that rather than developing Dynamax or whatever. Spend the time on more significant animation development instead of wasting that time on another gimmick that isnât going to significantly impact gameplay anyway.
To be honest, this point alone would be enough to convince me to buy a new Pokémon game.
 4.      Populate the World with Pokémon
I know that the Letâs Go series and Sword/Shield did this a little bit, and while it certainly wasnât executed perfectly, it was fun running around and actually seeing all the PokĂ©mon that inhabit it. Spawn rates in both games were often a bit too high, resulting in cluttered areas. Adding aggressive PokĂ©mon would further enhance the immersive experienceâbeing required to sneak around certain stronger PokĂ©mon could be a really fun mechanic and provide tension; it was a bit too easy to avoid PokĂ©mon in Letâs Go and in the Wild Area. While it was nice to get through Mt. Moon without encountering a single Zubat, imagine instead running through a section of the cave with a trail of 15 Zubats on your tail? Make me work for it a little!
Ultimately, I want to see PokĂ©mon behaving more naturally in their habitats, and not just in sections of the world that I canât get to. I want to run into a Caterpie hanging from a tree, or a Fearow fishing for Goldeen, or a Pikachu grooming itself. I want to interrupt PokĂ©mon from their lives, not run into a giant gaggle of automatons circling tiny areas for no reason.
So there it is: a look at just a few things PokĂ©mon games could include to make things more interesting and breathe new life into an aging franchise. These changes would require work, but any new game shouldâI would hate to see PokĂ©mon continue the troubling trend of easy and/or insignificant content when there is so much potential to do so much with what they have.
With all that said, I do want to offer a bit of praiseâSirfetchâd and Galarian Ponyta are pretty awesome, and Galarian Weezing is perfectly ridiculous. But I ask that you keep in mind what your money is telling Game Freak when you purchase their games: it tells them that you donât mind the severe lack of innovation and improvement. It tells them you donât mind Scorbunny hopping in place as a giant, orange, human foot strikes its opponent. It tells them that youâre willing to fund their copy/paste animations from 6 years ago, their uninspired gameplay updates, and their ever-increasing focus on gimmicks and minigames.
As for me, I will continue holding PokĂ©mon to a higher standard and hoping that, eventually, Blastoise will fire water from his cannons. Â
   Paragould, Arkansas    June 16th, 2005 - Five months ago
   A shrill whistle reverberates over the training fields. Children stop in their tracks and run back to the teacher, bursting with energy.    âAlright! Good job, everyone! Red team wins!â       A woman, probably around her thirties, smiles as she is surrounded by her class. Like they always do after practice, they sit down on the grass in a circle, looking up at their teacher, waiting for her to give the cue to head off to the dressing rooms. The sun shines brightly and stands high in the blue sky, shining down on them. Birds chirp, hopping from branch to branch in the trees surrounding the fields, while the American flag flutters from the frontage of a school building.
   âLooking forward to summer break?â the teacher asks, laughing when her question is answered with loud enthusiastic cheer.    âArenât you even going to miss me?â she pouts.    âWeâll miss you, Mrs. Dawlson,â one of the little boys speaks up.    More kids agree with him, causing their supervisor to smile, humbled.    âIâm sure you will do fine at Oak Grove, Roy. Youâre all going to middle school! Fifth graders already, my boys and girls are all grown up.â She observes her class, pride in her kind eyes. âI tell you what. Next Friday we are going to play lots of fun games, alright?â    The faces of the children light up and they happily beam at each other, already excited for next practice.    Their teacher lets them off the hook. âBe safe, off you go!â
   All get up and bolt for the dressing rooms, challenging each other to get there first. Some squeal and laugh as they play tag along the way. All but one. The joy disappears from Mrs. Dawlsonâs face as she watches one of the girls, who slowly strolls back to school. Despite the warm weather, sheâs wearing a long sleeved shirt and blue sweatpants.    Mrs. Dawlson sighs, clearly caring too much about her children to let this slip. âLaura?â    The little girl looks over her shoulder, her expression blank. She carries her long, chestnut hair in two braids, her bangs cover her eyes.    âCould you come here for a second?â Mrs. Dawlson asks, gently.
   Laura drags her feet with her head hanging down, like a dog who has done something wrong and is now called back to get punished. The teacher sits down on her heels to level with the little girl, making sure not to talk down to her. But Laura doesnât look her in the eye and keeps staring at her feet.    âHow are you doing, Laura?â she wonders, her voice friendly and calm.    âIâm fine, Mrs. Dawlson,â she replies, politely.    The coach hesitates for a moment, figuring out the best way to approach her pupil.    âWell, alright. But if there is anything you want to talk about, let me know, okay?â
   The young girl looks up and Mrs. Dawlson startles at what she sees. She can detect a dark bruise through her bangs, right above her left eyebrow. With her fingers, she carefully sweeps away Lauraâs hair and reveals the injury underneath. Scared, the student backs out and turns her head away. Quickly, but without hurting her, Mrs. Dawlson grabs Lauraâs wrist and pulls up her sleeve. What she sees then, would make everyoneâs stomach turn; her entire arm is bruised.      âHow did you get these?â Lauraâs teacher questions, a bit firmer than before.    âI fell,â she lies.    âTell the truth, Laura. Who did this to you? Itâs alright,â Mrs. Dawlson tries to convince her.    âNo one! Please donât tell anyone!â The little ten year old begs as she pulls herself loose.    âItâs safe with me. I promise,â her teacher assures.    âNo, I - I canât,â Laura stammers.
   By now sheâs crying. Big tears stream down her porcelain cheeks. It seems like she is going to cave in, but suddenly she turns around and makes a run for it. Mrs. Dawlson lets her go and straightens her back. With a sigh, the teacher places her hands on her waist and watches the girl leave the field.    Disapproving, she shakes her head and closes her eyes, swallowing thickly. âPoor girlâŠâ she whispers to herself.
   Paragould, Arkansas    November 26th, 2005 - Present day
   Itâs still early morning when Sam pulls over at 2310 West Kings highway and enters the parking lot of the Ramada Inn. He left ZoĂ« still asleep; apparently she really needed her rest. Last night, he wondered what was going on in her head and what sheâs been through, as he went over the database she developed during her years of hunting. He could tell from the file properties that she didnât just accidentally stumble on a ghost and got curious. He doesn't know the entire story behind her possession, but something happened. Something bad.
   The first file was added over four years ago, containing information on a Diligo Vesco. âDiligoâ can be translated to âloveâ in Latin, âVescoâ meaning âeaterâ in that same ancient language. A demon who served directly under the devil himself in the early years, one of Luciferâs creations, if you believe the lore. Not your âcasualâ black eyed rat from hell, like the ones Dad dealt with every so often. No, this one was much worse.
   The name fits, because thatâs exactly what it does; it literally feeds on love, by possessing someone and slaughtering the hostâs loved ones. The demon doesnât just kill them, though. A Diligo Vesco is one of the most vicious and sadistic of its kind. Itâs been reported to take its sweet time torturing the victims, before actually killing them. Sam found case reports in ZoĂ«âs database that described the gory details. Limbs severed, organs ripped from bodies, missing parts of the brain. Arson, waterboarding, skinning, mutilation. Ways of torture he had never seen before. One of them was called Blood Eagle, where the demon would cut open its victimâs back, break all the ribs and twist them upwards, giving the poor soul âwingsâ.
   Since the beginning of time, these creatures are responsible for unexplainable and brutal murders within families and close circles. The Ade family murders in 1874, where the children were cut up and set on fire. The Green Family massacre in 1994, in which the mother of three slaughtered her children with an axe. These smart monsters play the game well, framing the vessel for the blood that the demon sheds.
   The Diligo Vesco is only able to show its true face when the host is physically close to someone he or she loves. Until that time it holds on like a leech. An exorcism would be the only way to spare the life of the possessed, but this is where it gets tricky; the demon can only be exorcised when it manifests. By the time a hunter picks up its scent, it is usually too late. Most of the time the damage is done and the thing is long gone. When it does come to driving out the demon, the host nor the exorcist rarely survive. Killing these demons is close to impossible without harming the person it's controlling. Yet this is what his father and Dean must have accomplished, since Zoë is still walking amongst them.
   Curiously, Sam had compared ZoĂ«âs online database with his fatherâs journal, but the case happened to take place in a period of time from which a couple of pages of the book are missing. ZoĂ« does not elaborate on the details of her own case either, but whatever happened, it triggered her to become one of the best hunters in the country. The list of creatures that she slayed after her possession is impressive. ZoĂ« ended more supernatural spawn from Hell in the past four years than some hunters manage to kill in a lifetime.
   Still pondering over this newfound information, Sam gets out of his brotherâs car. On his way over to Paragould, he and Dean talked about this new Sullivan girl. The youngest Winchester couldn't help but to be curious about her motives, her past. Dean doesnât get why Sam even gives a damn. He said itâs none of their business and if ZoĂ« doesnât wanna share, why dig further and risk getting your eyes scratched out?
   While rummaging in his pocket, he enters the motel lobby and makes a left turn to the main corridor. The red carpet underneath his feet is stained and the wallpaper has come off at the corners, a sheer contrast to the Hampton Inn, where ZoĂ« is staying. Here, the coffee machine in the hall spits out the most horrendous brew, they need a flashlight in the bathroom because the light is broken and the air conditioning sounds like a generator, but doesnât actually do jack shit. But then again, he has a feeling that not even a freezer could have cooled down the rabbits inside of room 106.
   Just as he takes out his room key, he sees that he wonât need them; Dean is already at the door with the blonde he picked up the night before.
   âCall me,â she tells him, as she saves her number in his phone.    âI sure will,â Dean smirks.    They kiss once more. Both can barely keep their eyes off each other as the young lady parades away in last nightâs clothes with a flustered grin on her face.Â
   Sam passes her in the hallway and looks over his shoulder. He can see where Deanâs coming from; sheâs beautiful. Dean has spotted the look upon his brotherâs face, though.    âForget it, tiger. Sheâs mine.â    âHad a good night?â Sam chuckles, hoping he will skip the details.    Dean yawns and saunters back into the room. âDid I have a good night? I barely got a chance to sleep.â    âOkay, already more than I wanted to know,â Sam cuts off, before Dean spills the goods.
   He follows his older sibling into the room, finding one bed untouched and the other a complete mess. An empty bottle of Sauvignon lays on the ground, while a dirty glass still stands on the cabinet next to a half a bottle of Jack Daniels. The window is wide open, the heavy curtains wave in the wind slightly, but despite the fresh air, the room still smells like sex. Seems like they had one hell of a party.
   âLetâs get going,â Sam announces.    Dean looks aside at his little brother, frowning. Since when is Sam the one who gives the orders?    âAlready?â he replies, bummed, clearly hoping for a rendezvous.    âYeah, I found our stuff,â Sam informs.    âAh, so you found Sullivan,â Dean chuckless, raising his eyebrows.
   Sam huffs and rolls his eyes, but his older brother doesnât pay attention to it, tipping over an empty bag which once contained potato crisps. Apparently heâs hungry.    âYeah. It didnât take me long to find her. Her bike was parked outside a hotel. Sheâs working a case,â Sam explains, acting casual, but Dean canât help himself.    âIf it didnât take you long to find our shit, then where were you all night?â    Reluctantly, Sam sighs before he answers. No way in hell his brother is going to respond maturely to what he is about to say.  âI spent the night at her place.â    Dean laughs out loud, throwing his head back. âI knew it! You cheeky bastard!â    âNothing happened, Dean,â Sam states with a tone.    âOh, come on. Not even a little smooch?â he teases, but Sam denies.    âA look then? You know, one of those cheesy Notebook moments.â    But again, Deanâs brother shakes his head, although he canât resist to comment on that. âYou saw The Notebook?â    âWell... no. So Iâve heard,â the oldest corrects uncomfortably, quick to turn the conversation back around. âBut let me get this straight; absolutely nothing happened?â    âThatâs what I said,â Sam confirms.
   After opening a pizza box that - to Deanâs disappointment - is empty, he stops searching for food. Then he turns to Sam, who is clearly annoyed with the interrogation.    âAre your eyes fucked up?â Dean wonders in disbelief. âHonestly, I'm a little disappointed. I thought I taught you better than that. How can you spend the night with a woman like that without making a move?â    âThatâs it. Iâve had it.â    Sam squares his shoulders and stares at Dean, furiously. His brother pissed him off, but Dean can hide his victorious grin. For weeks he has tried to push Sam over the edge, to trigger him to let it out. To yell, cry, take a swing at him if that was what his little brother needed to do to feel better. Anything to get him out of the dark hole in which heâs currently hiding up.
   âDid it ever occur to you that I might feel terribly guilty if I would just head off with some girl for a one night stand like you always do?!â the youngest of the siblings exclaims.    âI have no idea, Sam. You never talk to me about it, so how the fuck am I supposed to know how you feel?â Dean bounces back.
   âAnd you think itâs strange that I don't talk about what happened?! My girlfriend was murdered, Dean! I was going to ask her to marry me, for fuckâs sake!â He pauses, growing even more furious. âI had everything planned out! Law school, Jess, everything!â    By now Sam paces from one side of the room to the other, restless and upset.
   âYou were gonna marry her, really? Sam, with your background the chances of the American dream coming true was close to zero. You shouldâve known that,â his brother reminds him.    âI was just trying to move on, I was trying to be happy! And you know what? I actually was!â Sam halts in front of Dean and raises his voice even more. âI loved her, Dean! I still do and I canât get her out of my fucking mind! She died because of me!â    Dean looks at his younger sibling, sympathetically. âDonât do that to yourself, man. Itâs not your fault sheâs dead.â    âIt is. I didnât warn her about the danger out there!I lied to her--â
   Sam intends to ramble on, but Dean intervenes.    â- What makes you think that telling her the truth would have made a difference? Whatever killed Jessica, wasnât just some ghost, Sam. Hey, listen to me.â The older brother grabs Samâs shoulder and forces him to look down into his eyes. âThat same thing killed Mom, and probably a whole bunch of other people. Itâs powerful, and if Dad has trouble stopping it, no offence, but you wouldnât have stood a chance.â
   âIâm not talking about stopping him at that moment, Dean!â Sam pulls himself loose and turns away.    An unpleasant silence fills the room as Dean waits for a follow up, but his brother doesnât continue.    âWhat then, Sam? Talk to me,â he pleads.
   Again that silence. The younger Winchester doesnât move and stares at the wall with his hands placed on his waist. He swallows apprehensively, his jaw tensed. Then Sam sighs and turns around for Dean to see his eyes glister.    âI could have prevented it,â Sam claims, his voice soft and broken now.    Dean observes him, thinking through his next question first before he shoots. He has a feeling thereâs more to this than just guilt.    âHow?â    Sam bites his lip and averts his gaze. Then, after a month of silence, Sam finally opens up to his brother.    âI dreamed of Jessicaâs death, days before it happened.â
   Complete silence. While the air grows even thicker with tension, Dean stares at his brother, his eyes confused and stunned. Taken aback, he opens his mouth in order to respond, but canât find the words heâs looking for.    âY-you mean, as in⊠a vision or something?â he returns disbelieving, chuckling nervously.    Sam scoffs as he moves away, ready to leave this conversation already; he knew Dean would respond like this. âNever mind.â    But Dean doesnât let it go. âYouâre telling me that you actually saw Jess die, like she did, in a dream?â    His younger brother halts, turns back slightly and eventually nods his head. âI didn't think anything of it at first. I figured it was just a bad dream. UntilâŠâ
   He doesn't need to finish his sentence. Dean says nothing, instead he just stares at Sam. Several thoughts rage through his head. What the hell is going on with him? What the hell could this mean? Why the fuck didnât he tell me this before? The sheer thought that something might be terribly wrong with his little brother, has his stomach in knots. This isnât ordinary. In fact, this is as far from ordinary as a human can get. He is stunned and overwhelmed by the idea, but his own brother might actually be something a hunter would keep a close eye on.
   Sam swallows thickly, feeling exposed and embarrassed. âYouâre looking at me as if youâre about to empty a bottle of holy water over my head.â    For a moment Dean glares at the flask on the table.    âDude, youâre seriously considering?!â Sam shouts, frustrated.    âYou wanna tell me that this is normal, Sam?!â Dean counters, raising his voice.    Sam shakes his head and turns around, already regretting that he brought it up.    âWhy didnât you tell me before?â the older brother questions.    âI donât know,â Sam mutters, staring at the ground.    âYou donât know? Youâre psychic, right?â Dean scoffs.
   The youngest of the Winchester boys grinds his teeth, but doesnât say a word. The tension between the two of them is heavy and familiar; it feels the same as when they had the argument before Sam took off for college.
   âAnything else I should know, Sam?â Dean pressures, clearly worked up over this. âI donât know, maybe you can stop bullets or run super fast.â    Dean steps to the other side of the room with his arms folded in front of his chest, making fun of the situation because he has no idea how else to deal with it.    Sam eyes him, following his movements. âFunny,â he snaps. âMature, too.â    âIt would explain a lot of things. The âSâ stands for âSamâ and thereâs your love for tights,â Dean provokes.    âStop it,â Sam hisses, but Dean isnât done.    âCan you fly? âCause that would be fucking awesome.â    âDean!â Sam warns mad.    âWhat?! Either I joke about it or I lose my fucking cool! Take your pick,â Dean returns.    âOne way or the other, it doesnât help!â the youngest exclaims. âYou see? This is exactly why I didnât tell you, Dean! I knew you would give me this kind of shit!â    âWhat did you expect? You kept this from me for over a month!â Dean brings to mind, hurt seeping past the words.    âI donât have to tell you everything I go through. I donât owe you that,â Sam makes clear, venom in his tone.    âAnd thatâs where youâre wrong,â Dean turns to him, pointing his finger as he approaches his brother. âI am your fucking brother, Sam! So yes, you do owe me that!â
   Dean stares straight into Samâs eyes, his head tilted slightly backwards to look at his younger yet taller brother. Sam can see his words struck a nerve.    âWe used to tell each other everything. What happened to that?â Dean wonders.    âIt left, along with me.â
   Sam breaks eye contact and walks past him. As Sam bumps his shoulder against his, Dean shuts his eyes and clenches his jaw.    âI know youâre pretty damn good at it, but donât you walk away from me,â he threatens, not brave enough to turn around to watch Sam leave.    âWhy wouldnât I?â Sam tests, not impressed by Deanâs stern words.    âBecause this is not something you can walk away from! When will that finally come to you? When youâre in, youâre in. Thereâs no way back when you know about the things in the shadows, especially not when you have fucking visions about it!â    Now Dean does turn to face Sam, who scoffs at the message. âSo what then, huh?! Youâre planning to hunt until youâre in a wheelchair?â    âNo, Iâm planning to hunt until I finish the job Dad left for us to do and along the way, I will kill as many sons of bitches as I possibly can. Saving people, hunting things, the family business.â He pauses, staring at his brother with fiery eyes. âI intend to prevent people from going through the same shit weâve had to endure, and if I donât succeed, Iâll die trying.â
   This time, Sam doesnât have a counter ready. No stubborn remark, no smart answer, just silence. Heâs not sure what to say to that. He has to admit, he respects Dean for his morals, his honor. It gets him thinking, too. About his own future, his own life. Because deep down he knows Dean is right. He can run from the supernatural all he wants, but it will continue to follow him, always and everywhere.
   âWhy should we be the one to sacrifice everything?â Sam questions, less hostile than before.    âI donât know,â Dean sighs. âItâs just the way it is. So we either feel sorry for ourselves, or we suck it up.â
   Sam nods, admitting, but not at all okay with the inevitable. He can never have the life he wishes for. There will always be more to hunt, more to kill; this is a never ending story. And even if he does turn his back on the business for good, will he be able to forget about Jessicaâs death? Can he move on without scanning every street, expecting something out of the ordinary around every corner? Right now, actually getting his law degree seems impossible, but then again, maybe he was being naĂŻve when he went to Stanford in the first place.
   âShall we go?â Sam suggests.    Dean looks up at the defeated man. The peace has returned, but brought a sense of devastation along as well. Accepting his fate is hard on Sam, he understands that. So Dean decides they had enough arguments for one morning and lets it go. He got Sam to talk to him; one step at a time.    âCanât we stay one more night?â Dean tries, carefully.    Sam frowns, but then understands his reason for hesitation.    âDeniseâ, he chuckles. âOr Demi? Iâm not sure. Her name started with a âDâ.â    Deanâs typical grin appears on his face again, his eyes still soft, though.
   âListen, man. Iâm not pushing you to hook up with some chick just to mess you up, okay? At some point itâs gonna be time to move on, and I just figured a girl might help with that,â Dean lets him know, somewhat apologetic.    Sam eyes at his brother for a little while with an expression saying something in the line of âyeah rightâ. After a moment of who-gives-up-glaring-first, Dean caves.    âAlright, I wanted to piss you off so that you would get it out of your system,â he admits.
   The corner of Samâs mouth twitches upward; he knew it. Heâs not mad at Dean for playing that card, though. His older brother means well and he actually feels a little better now that he told him what is going on.    âSeriously, man. Talk to me when somethingâs up,â Dean underlines.    Sam responds with a nod of the head, then he gathers his stuff, apparently intending to leave.    âAh, come on. One night,â Dean begs.    âThereâs something ripping out hearts down in Texas, described by locals as âpossibly coyotesâ,â Sam offers.    Dean rubs his unshaven chin and thinks it over.    âAwesome werewolf hunt or awesome sex? Tough one,â he ponders.    Sam canât help but smile and waits for the final call.    âAlright, letâs hunt some wolf,â Dean gives in. âDo you need to change in a phone booth before we go?â    Sam gives him a death-stare once again, but his brother keeps a straight face.    âNo?â he checks, teasing.
   Dean canât wipe the comical smirk off his face and so Sam shoves his brother towards the door, triggering him to let out a laugh. Before he follows, the younger Winchester feels his pockets for his phone and freezes. Unpleasantly surprised he looks around.    âLost something?â Dean wonders.    âI think I left my Blackberry at Zoâs,â Sam realizes.    âNaturally,â Dean chuckles, failing to believe he didnât leave it there on purpose.    âWould you quit it already?!â Sam returns, feisty.    âOkay, Iâll stop,â Dean promises. âWe need to score some food anyway, Iâm hungry.â    âThereâs a In-N-Out a block from ZoĂ«âs hotel,â Sam mentions.    Deanâs eyes light up, imagining the food in front of him already. âA Double-Double it is.â
   Sam grins as Dean picks up a small duffel containing only the few things they carry around at the moment. He follows Sam outside, who locks the door behind them. A quick bite before they leave another town and move on to the next. They never stay long, but the last two stops have been extremely short. Dean likes Denise, or whatever her name is, yet he has never been the guy who sticks around long enough to get serious with a girl. To be honest, a wolf hunt already sounds more fun than doing the girl he already did last night. After that shapeshifter drama, and now this newfound information about Sammy, heâs up for something equally exciting and distracting. Dean is sure of it; Texas, here they come.
Thank you for reading. I appreciate every single one of you, but if you do want to give me some extra love, you are free to like or reblog my work, shoot me a message or buy me coffee (Link to Kofi in bio at the top of the page).
Hi! Today I just started a new Minecraft singleplayer world, and I think Iâll be staying in this world for a while. But before I go on living through the rest of this world, Iâve already had one full real-life day with it now. So, while itâs still fresh in my mind, and before I experience anything new with it, Iâll think Iâll infodump about it here on this blog! This is the story of my first day in a brand-new Minecraft world.
First I had to create my world. I called it âNerdporksâ Worldâ. This is in reference to a number of things. First of all, every Minecraft World is, by default, called âNew Worldâ. Secondly, every Minecraft world with a blank world name is automatically called âMy Worldâ. I have a bunch of worlds from years ago that are like this. You donât need to know why itâs called specifically âNerdporksââ World, even though my name in-game is PigHunterExtreme. Itâs a personal reason.
So I first spawned in the middle of a taiga biome. From where I spawned in, I could see spruce trees around me. But, before I started moving too much, I made sure to stay still and write down some information I could get about the world.
Iâve been in a mood recently where I want to date and log every single thing I have a sentimental or emotional moment with, in the hopes that if I ever come back to something like this world in the future, I can know certain exact details about it that I otherwise wouldnât be able to know.
So, on the personal work notebook that happened to be in front of me, I wrote down the coordinates of where I stood, which way I was facing, and what the world seed was. My intention for writing down some of this information was so that I could imbed some of it in a sign that I would stick in the ground where I stood later. I used the coordinates and the direction I was facing to determine where the sign would go, and which way it would face. I wrote down the seed so that if I ever needed to do something that was seed-specific (like finding slime chunks, searching for biomes in my world, or opening up a new Minecraft world for testing with the same seed as the one Iâm playing in), I could do that without needing to open up Minecraft and go into my world.
On the sign, I wrote what the sign meant to me (It was where I spawned in on this brand-new world), and the current date (September 8th, 2020, or 9/8/20). The sign was a spruce sign, since that was the only type of wood I could find around me (there were only taiga trees as far as the eye could see), and thatâs a problem because spruce is a dark wood color (it IS the second-darkest wood type in the Overworld), and all text on signs is black by default. This made the text on the sign hard to read, and I knew that, so I planned on coming back later when I had white dye so that I could dye the text on the spruce sign white. (The ability to dye signs a different color was added in Java Edition 1.14.)
So so far, all I did was place down a sign, and I needed to remember to come back to it later when I had killed a skeleton so that I could dye it white. I went on to chop down some trees for some spruce wood, mine some cobblestone from the exposed side of a tall mountain, and collected some sweet berries from berry bushes that were growing in the taiga. (Sweet berry bushes were added in 1.14.)
Now night was starting to fall. I had no idea how I was going to survive this. I set the difficulty to Hard, so I knew that hostile mobs spawning would be a problem, and regeneration from food would also be a problem. (Your health can only regenerate when both of your first two hunger points are full. In hard mode, regeneration is slow and very taxing on your hunger, so those hunger points might as well go away immediately.) I only had sweet berries for food, and I knew I did, but I suspected it would be a problem later on when I would encounter hostile mobs. (Sweet berries can only restore two hunger points each, and give very little saturation, so you need to constantly eat if you want to restore multiple hearts. Sweet berries were coded this way to balance how frequent you can find them in taigas.)
Sure enough, I did end up having trouble with hostile mobs in the taiga, but not in the way I had expected. I had planned to hop on top of spruce trees to get away from any hostile mobs underneath, but I could never get high enough and just found myself constantly falling down. Then, a baby zombie found me, and I started panicking horribly. Iâm telling you, when you see all those Minecraft memes calling baby zombies demons or something, theyâre not lying!
I kept on trying to hit the baby zombie, but before I could get it to die, it had nearly gotten me to die. So, with only one shaking heart left, I ran for my life. I jumped off a hill into a river I just saw, and swam away. I heard a skeleton shoot an arrow above me, and I just kept on swimming. Finally, I reached open water, and I could finally eat and take a deep breath. I ended up eating like six or eight sweet berries in my attempt to regenerate, thatâs how bad of a food source they are.
I swam through the ocean while I waited for the night to end. I saw mobs everywhere there was land, having spawned just moments before I could view them within render distance. Finally, the night ended, and I could swim back the way I came.
There was a drowned following me around the ocean. I let it follow me throughout the night, but I killed it before I got to land. (Drowned are a water variant of zombies. They spawn when zombies drown, or they can spawn in the middle of the ocean. They were added in 1.13.)
Once I got to shore, I started wandering around the world looking for a place to put my starter house.
Actually, now that Iâve written so much about my world already, Iâm starting to question whether I should even finish describing the entirety of my first real-life day in my Minecraft singleplayer world! I mean yeah, I know, it would be horrible for notekeeping, but everything up until this point has only been one in-game day, not one real-life day. And itâs still this much! So I think Iâll try to wrap up my story right now.
In the end, I found a place to build my starter house. I had my starter house built, and I had a mine built right next to it. I went digging in that mine, and in that mine I found a cave, so I went spelunking, and now I have obscene amounts of resources that I could not have imagined Iâve had right now. I have lots of redstone, and lapis, and gold, and I have more coal and iron than I know what to do with.
So yeah! Thatâs the state of my singleplayer world right now! I think it was a good idea to start it now, at the time that I did. Otherwise Iâd be too busy thinking about school to get anything done in this world. Itâs not that time yet. So I get to play! And Iâve made a lot of memorable moments! Even if I donât remember them in the future, I can still come back to things like this world or this post and recall things I mightâve forgotten. Also, Iâm sorry I had to cut so much out in the middle of my description. I was worried Iâd lose motivation before I finished infodumping.
So thatâs it! Bye thanks for listening to me talk about my new Minecraft world :)
Donât Starve: RoG
I wasnât going to make a post for this one. It was supposed to be a chill evening game to waste time for a couple hours. All of the settings were on normal and Wilson was as ready to go as he ever is. Honestly, I didnât expect to live very long.
270 in-game days (nearly four in-game years) later...
Not as uneventful as expected!
...The giants are still assholes. Especially the mysteriously teleporting Bearger. Feast your eyes on its handiwork:
Highlights of the game below the cut:
Year 1:
Found a winter set piece (fridge, chest of winter gear, thermometer)! Itâs like the obsidian staff and circle in Shipwrecked; opening that fridge is a mistake you only make once. I destroyed it with a hammer during the first winter.
No bearger or moose-goose and the dragonfly despawned before I could actually fight it. I took down the deerclops pretty easily, though. Good thing because that was the only time I saw it during the entire game.
Got two meat effigies up in record time. Another good thing because, even though I didnât need in them in Y1, I needed both of them very early in Y2.
Made an Old Bell after a rampaging beefalo in heat took out Glommer in my camp.
Discovered that there are ZERO mandrakes in the world. Every square inch of the surface has been explored since then, not a single scrap of the map is blacked out. No mandrakes.
Took out the first walrus group with ease and the MacTusk dropped the Tam OâShanter and tusk. Since then, my tusk walking stick has become my most valuable item.
Year 2:
I realized that I wasnât going anywhere soon so started looking into the more resource-intensive crafting items.
Bee boxes. Evil bees.
The bearger put in its first appearance and was way more trouble than I expected. Not only did it kill me when I didnât realize my armor had broken, but when I respawned at a meat effigy in my camp, it teleported to my location and was there to greet me when I cracked out. It destroyed half of my camp before the honey in my fridge put it to sleep and I was able to call on Big Foot to stomp it. I donât remember it being able to teleport to my location before...
I died again a few minutes later when night fell and I found that (a) I didnât have the resources to make a fire or torch anymore and (b) the bearger had destroyed my fire pit. I had to kill a beefalo to make a new meat effigy the next day.
The moose-goose was more trouble than necessary. It came down from a forest towards my camp during the evening so I had to fight it after dark, then a pack of hounds attacked me at the same time. Oh, and we were in the beefalo prairie right next to my spider nests. Eh, I got hurt more than expected and my sanity tanked, but I didnât die and I kept the moose-goose from laying eggs. Success!
The dragonfly despawned as soon as it was out of sight. Again.
No deerclops for whatever reason. I found the clockworks while preparing for its arrival, though! Plenty of gears to go around, after that.
Mines...? I donât remember if I descended into the depths in Y2 or early Y3.
Year 3:
Bearger and dragonfly mysteriously despawned once they were out of sight, this time. Deerclops didnât bother to show up again and the moose-goose was ridiculously easy to take down. It didnât even break my armor or make a dent in my health.
I finished exploring the surface (literally everything is filled in on the map, now) and most of the first layer of the caves. About...85%? There are gaps in the middle of swamp and cave spider areas but I really have no interest in filling those in. I already have the opening to the deeper depths and Iâve been cheap-shotted by enough nightmare beaks in my time.
Did I mention I got cheap-shotted by nightmare beaks and crawling nightmares? At least the depths worms havenât been awful.
Explored the second layer of the depths during multiple full nightmare cycles. The whole map has been outlined and the labyrinth is fully explored.
...Unsurprisingly, the Ancient Guardian murdered me a lot.
Finished crafting everything necessary for survival and setting up supply chains. Started working on magic stuff - most of which I have never and will never use.
Year 4:
Finished crafting all of the recipes I care to. Anything left either requires seasonal ingredients or materials from the giants.
When I went hunting for slurper pelts, I found an unnervingly high number just laying around on the ground. Do depths worms murder slurpers while the player isnât down there?
The bearger pulled its whole âteleporting to the playerâ schtick again and magically appeared in the middle of my camp after I left it fighting tree guards in a forest a ways away. I intended to fight it the normal way (helmet, armor, tentacle spike) but then it murdered Glommer and Chester. I said âscrew itâ, froze it with my ice staff, and called Bigfoot to whack it. Twice. Now I have an insulated pack.
Everything but three farms was destroyed. Everything. See the picture above? Thatâs from this catastrophe. I took the opportunity to clean up and reorganize afterwards, but my enthusiasm was gone.
Deerclops was a no-show again and the moose-goose either followed its example or itâs going to appear in the last few days of spring. Iâm not into summer so the Dragonfly hasnât put in an appearance but I assume it will spawn and immediately despawn again.
Oh, also, I died to an eye plant for the first time ever. I wasnât paying attention, sped down the path with my walking stick and sanity gear (Tam OâShanter and...I donât remember. Either a breezy vest or dapper vest. Raincoatâs also a possibility. Something with no armor value.) and I was in the middle of them before I realized they were there. Two eyes grabbed me, one on each hand, and the others pulled me down. At least I was only, like, ten feet from my base.
Iâve done everything worth doing on the surface, the only thing left in the caves is exploring what few dark spaces remain, and thereâs plenty to do in the depths but I have no interest in messing with the Ancient Research Stations, the Ancient Guardian, or the Nightmare Cycles.
Other:
I havenât exhausted the gameâs potential, but I really donât want to mess with the depths this time. Iâve done that and it never stops being annoying. I also donât want to wait for the giants to spawn so I can get their materials - that would take ages. And Iâm not going to spawn anything in on the sly - possible or not, Iâm playing this straight so that would be cheating.
The only thing left is moving on to a different world but Iâm not interested; I think Iâm played out. Itâll be a bit before I play Donât Starve again.
*EDIT: Added in the country of âOrkalaâ as part of Briarâs background! ^^
-----------------------
*faints* ...After a looong time thinking up of fancy country names and doodling/fine-tuning the country colors to a pleasing design... hereâs the official map of the world in âThe Three Magesâ~ đ
Read below for more info of each respective country:
-Tianjin: A dry desert region whoâs citizens tend to be either scattered into nomadic tribes that travel around, or primarily settled down in the capitol city of âTian-Longâ, which is basically like a single, relaxing oasis compared to the rest of the country.Â
The current reigning royal is Queen Meirin, who is actually a younger woman who recently took up the throne following her parentsâ deaths by assassination.Â
-Asteria: A cold, mountain region where thereâs basically an eternal winter to deal with. The people live primarily inside mountain caves which lead into a tunneling system directed towards the primary city of âAsterâ, the countryâs capitol. A noticeable trait about Asterians are their dual features of dark skin and fair-colored hair... itâs very rare to see any pale-skinned + dark-haired people in Asteria, unless they are either foreigners or of mixed race from a different continent.Â
The current reigning royals are King Ferian and Queen Rhea, with their only daughter Princess Zia being the crown heir.Â
-Efornia: A lush forest region with the tallest trees existing in the entire world... so much that the people have set up most of their towns and cities up in the tree tops to avoid the dangerous fauna below. Their capitol is called âFaundaleâ, which basically resembles a giant wooden castle when you climb up high enough.Â
The current reigning royal is King Elken, with his oldest daughter Princess Autem being the crown heir.Â
-Graystone: The main center of the âThree Magesâ story with a strong history of mining the best mana stones among Terra. Their city capitol is known simple as âGray Cityâ, with a luxurious layout not too different from that of the real-life Las Vegas and/or New York City.Â
The current reigning royal is the Graystone King (who still refuses to give out much of his personal identity), with his eldest son Prince Elas being the crown heir.Â
-Laveras: A jungle region with rather harsh thunderstorms that never seem to cease. The local citizens have adapted to this though by blocking out the storms through âdomeâ city coverings... inside being a protective safe haven while the reigning thunder stays outside.Â
The current reigning royals are King Gabor and King Yuneun, with their daughter Xoe being the crown heir.Â
-Myst: An icy polar cap that used to house a kingdom of itâs own, but it has long since gone extinct due to various wars and looting tearing the place apart. The only living inhabitants remaining are the occasional arctic fauna that lurk around the remnants of the now abandoned cities.Â
-Orkala: One of the rarest talked about countries of Terra is inhabited by people known as 'The Hooded Mystic Reapers'. Their rather mysterious appearances make them look as though they are know for performing exorcism along with other chaotic kind of spells. Telekinetic magic is the most common form of spells within this candle haven horizon. Old buildings that appear like castle and Cathedrals are the eyesight when visiting. Briar Rhapsody, who was supposed to be the next sovereign rule of her birthplace, had ran away to Graystone to change her destiny. Her destruction magic is rumored to be as 'The Dark Prophecy'
-Vul-Dor: A hot island-like region where thereâs alot more volcanic and lava-ridden places to encounter, yet the people highly praise this as gifts from their Sun and Fire Fae deities.Â
The current reigning royals are King Abioye and Queen Furaha, with their son Prince Hakem being the crown heir.Â
-Kronia: A high-tech region with barely any natural-growing flora in recent times, as itâs citizens adapted most of the country into a more stream-lined, metallic zone. Electric and Metal magic are their main component to making everything run smoothly.Â
The current reigning monarchs are Queen Zera and Queen Neura, with their son Prince Alyx being the crown heir.Â
-Nydor: A dark, desolate region riddled with dangerous monsters... itâs said that this is the place where dark magic originated and conquered the formally lush country. Itâs human inhabitants are very prideful though, and tend to refuse outside help in ârestoringâ the land as theyâve grown too accustomed to the darkness to wanna adjust to change.Â
The current reigning royal is Queen Vira, with her daughter Princess Embyr being the crown heir.Â
-Greneval: A peaceful, lush region that doesnât actually have any monarchy, but tribes of people who live among the environment and feel so in tune with their spirituality that each generation seems to spawn a new future-telling prophet to look up to.Â
-Tydas: A sea-faring island thatâs also without a monarchy yet itâs people thrive just fine on their fishing and trade businesses. This would actually be where Professor Naya grew up, though most of her ancestors were from Asteria.Â
-Coronus: A large desert-like region thatâs curiously blanketed by an eternal night/evening sky... leaving it a very foreboding yet beautiful place to visit. Their sands have mysterious healing properties when heated to the right degree, so this is a common place for practicing medicinal groups to train in.Â
The current reigning royal is King Felspar, with his son Prince Masyn being the crown heir (secretly in love with the Valemontâs crown heir).
-Valemont: The rivaling kingdom to Coronus who long since refused to share their land with them over a long disputed kingdom feud. In contrast to Coronus, Valemont is a fairly icy/mist-covered region with their most notable flora being their famous âfrost bloomsâ, which are both beautiful and actually delicious to eat for those trapped out there.Â
The current reigning royal is Queen Delula, and her son Prince Cole being the crown heir (secretly in love with the Coronusâ crown heir).Â
#the three mages#world building stuff#lore stuff#p h e w this took longer than it shouldve lol#might make some revisions to this later but idk we'll see
