i have always associated this song with Moloch the most !!!!!!!

there’s a common phrase in media, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, where it's usually depicted as a wolf wearing a sheep’s coat or body. so yknow, i figured that could technically apply for humans as well. like Moloch wearing the bodies of Dexter and Patty (and others but shh).

the song itself is probably about a person, despite their insecurities, masking themselves as something greater and (perhaps growing into one through an animalistic manner).

but here, i want to use the lyrics in the literal sense and how it connects with the lore.

This verse details about Moloch's feelings between The Stars and Unwanted Guest; the demon wants to get OUT but he is stuck in that dang ouija board by two little kids. He was patient but patience can have a limit. He's growing desperate to leave, to the point of making his presence known in Skid's house.

In the second verse, Moloch in the Hollow Sorrow episode is shown to at least have some ability to read through the memories and/or feelings of the person he ate and possessed (probably...??? I don't remember seeing it being exactly confirmed but regardless, he is a good manipulator). He gets into the soft parts of the heart and pull its strings.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on Father Gregor but it's effective either way.

In both times Moloch possessed a person, he encounters another being. However, as Dexter, he was the hunter and as Patty, he was a hunter turning into the hunted (...or well,.. kinda ???? my point is: he was no longer the apex predator in that situation LMAO).

But for some reason, he still tries to possess children (Roy, and then Skid and Pump). He's getting cornered now, and he was until the end.

i really can't tell if this part of Ally's character arc is meant to be viewed as good or bad. like, the show is obviously telling us that Ally's overall trajectory is bad, and being needlessly cruel to other people for the sake of putting your own emotional wellbeing first could certainly be a part of that. but, there's also been a lot of commentary about how hard it is to be under the scrutiny of social media (likely from the crew's own experiences), so Ally learning to stand up for herself and what she needs could also be a form of wish fulfillment. hopefully it'll resolve as a multi-layered predicament in the end, but i'm just trying to figure out how Ally will respond to her edit in All Stars in either the finale or the Loser's Motel episode.

...can't you just wait, like, two more episodes to directly state the point of your character arc, essentially then concluding it? then i could be sure that you'd win.

well, while i certainly thought that it was Riya's time to go in terms of the cut, it does actually make more sense for Alec to go home here, no plot armor involved! (other than arguably the plot armor of not letting Alec win the challenge.) Alec is much more threatening in a final 3 situation because of his greater athleticism and intelligence as compared to Riya, and Grett is closer to Riya than Alec. it sucks to see one of my favorites go, but it's entirely logical.

this was such a good moment. i especially love the storytelling without dialogue going on with Connor's reaction. anyways, if Riya wasn't going to win before, she's definitely not going to win now. you don't get hit with the "look at what a sorry state you're in" three episodes before the final and then snatch the W.

maybe you shouldn't have fired and humiliated your employees live on TV, then.

is this season going to end with Kristal resigning from the show? i thought that might happen to make way for Emily as the new host, but now that she's going more villainous, i don't think that'll be the cast anymore. maybe Derek and Trevor will take the show back over, as (I think) the more popular hosts in the fandom?

anyways. a solid episode! i think a good number of people saw the Connor idol play coming from a mile away, so it wasn't all that surprising that one of the major villains was going down. still, we had interesting strategy and some great character moments, especially for Connor. they're really making the best of his extended time in All Stars. and, hey, there are only two guys left, so maybe he'll make the finale! it doesn't really matter, though, because it's gonna be Jake. i'll keep riding the Jake winner train until he gets eliminated. not that i think that's going to happen ;)

Hi ! So I absolutely adore the dynamic that is Sirius, James and baby Harry so do you have any hcs about them

omg hi! and dude, literally same. i’m just so obsessed with them. i do have hcs about them! (but bc i have colander brain, this might be a bit repetitive with stuff i’ve said before. so pls ignore)

- sirius is harry’s parent, as much as james is. j knows this and encourages it. for one, he knows how much it means to sirius to be unconditionally loved & adored, how attached he is to harry. two, sirius loves harry so deeply—james can rest assured that harry will be in good, protective hands if he’s not there.

- i can see james & sirius getting into these,,,playfully competitive pissing contests (partly for harry’s enjoyment, partly bc they’re Just Like That) but. it only happens in their animagus forms. and mainly for harry’s affections. like, padfoot is playing around with harry, and then this huge stag is bowling the from over and kneeling in front of little harry, being so careful with his antlers around him. then padfoot kind of jumps him, and they’re animal-wrestling and harry’s just. having the time of his life ykno?

- harry dressing up as his dads!!!! skinny, fake-ripped jeans, leather jackets, sticker tattoos and clip on piercings for si; muscle tanks, athleisure, and plaid shirts for james (along w black, square spectacle frames!!) and whenever he goes to their workplace w them, he wants to look exactly like the parent he’s with. for like, a whole year he was adamant he grow his hair out bc he wanted to be just like sirius and have it up in a braided bun/ponytail. (sirius loves teasing j about it, who can’t stop pouting)

- muggle school & PTA meetings/school events would be SO hilarious bc of these hot, young dads who’re absolutely obsessed with their baby. like all the other parents are overworked, kinda frumpy, and def older but then u have these two who just. cannot look Bad if they were held at gunpoint. and they’re just—so good with harry, ykno? all affectionate and cuddly and baby this, darling that; swinging him around in their arms, on top of shoulders etc etc. like just,,,,instantly giving everyone a complex.

- definitely think they got into fights over who gets to cuddle/hold harry, esp as a baby, and had to literally make a whole schedule that they stuck religiously to just to make things fair. it’s serious business, ok? (james sometimes gets out of bed in the middle of the night for a sneaky cuddle but he’s thwarted by sirius who awoke like. ten minutes ago for the same)

then  leaving  yungjun  to  his  own  devices,  dohwan  was  off  to  catch  the  third  part  of  this  love  triangle.  he  assumed  it  was  one  because  by  the  looks  of  it,  the  mortal  had  the  two  blood  sucking  creatures  wrapped  around  her  finger.  waiting  at  the  parking  lot  where  yiren’s  car  was,  leaning  against  it,  dohwan  watched  the  night  sky,  patient.  he  had  all  the  time  in  the  world.  a  small,  wicked  smile  tugged  his  lips  upwards  when  he  heard  footsteps  nearby.
