the backstage dressing room of the sold out arena was alive with activity. assistants rushed in and out, carrying outfits and adjusting mics, while the members of enhypen filled into the room, their energy a mix of nerves and excitement. riki, the main dancer, was the last to enter, his stage outfit already clinging perfectly to his frame. his hair was freshly styled and his usual confident grin was firmly in place.
you stood near the vanity, arranging your makeup tools neatly. you glanced up when the door opened and your heart did it’s usual flutter when your eyes landed on riki. despite working and being together for years now, he still had that effect on you.
“hey pretty,” riki greeted, making a beeline for you as the other members settled into their chairs. without a care for the busy room, he leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to your lips. “riki!” you exclaimed, glancing around to make sure no one had seen, your cheeks flushing pink. “we’re at work!”
“and?” he teased, his voice soft and low so only you could hear. “it’s not like they don’t already know.” you tried to keep your expression neutral, but his adoring gaze was making it impossible. he looked at you like you were the only person in the world, his dark eyes warm and full of affection.
“go sit down,” you finally said, trying to suppress a smile as you motioned to his chair. “you’ve got a show to get ready for.”
“yes ma’am,” riki said with a mock salute before plopping into his chair. the other members exchanged knowing smirks but didn’t say anything, accustomed to their maknaes antics when it came to you.
you approached him with your makeup kit, your expression shifting to one of focus. you grabbed a primer and started dabbing it onto his skin. riki leaned back obediently, watching you the entire time. his eyes followed every move you made—how you tilted your head slightly while working on his foundation, the way your lips pressed together as you concentrated.
“stop staring,” you said without looking up, your voice tinged with amusement. “i can’t help it,” riki replied, a grin tugging at his lips. “you’re too pretty when you’re in your element.”
“flattery won’t get you out of wearing eyeliner,” you quipped, picking up the next product.
he chuckled, staying quiet for a moment as you traced sharp, precise lines around his eyes. but when you leaned in to work on his lips, he couldn’t sit still anymore.
“riki, baby,” you said, holding his chin to keep him steady, “if you don’t stop moving, you’re going to look like a mess out there and i’ll let the fans blame you.”
riki grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “would it really be so bad? they might think the smudges are part of my charm.”
“charm doesn’t cover uneven eyeliner or faded lip tint,” you muttered, dipping the brush back into the product. you leaned closer, focusing on his lips. “well,” he said, voice dropping a bit deeper than before, “if it’s my lips you’re worried about, maybe you should test them.”
“riki,” you warned, but your cheeks flushed at his teasing tone. in response, he leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to your cheek, leaving a faint mark of coral lip tint behind. “there, a little something just for you.”
you froze, your brush midair, and fixed him with an exasperated glare. “riki! you’ve ruined it again, that’s the third time!” he laughed, utterly unrepentant. “what can i say? your face is more fun to decorate than mine.”
“you’re impossible,” you muttered, grabbing a makeup wipe to start over. “at this rate, you’re going on stage with bare lips.”
“then the fans will get the real me,” he said with a playful shrug.
“no, the fans will get a makeup artist who quits her job halfway through the tour because of you,” you shot back, though your lips twitched in amusement.
as you leaned in again, riki stared at you with unabashed affection, making no effort to hide how enamored he was. the way your brows furrowed in concentration, the way you bit your lip when you worked—it all made his heart race.
“riki, stop looking at me like that,” you murmured without glancing up.
“like what?”
“like you’re about to—”
before you could finish, he closed the distance between you two and kissed you square on the lips. it was soft but lingering, enough to make you forget for a moment that you guys were backstage, mere minutes before showtime. when he pulled back, your carefully applied lip tint was smeared, and his own lips were a mess.
“—do that,” you finished, blinking at him.
he grinned, completely unbothered. “you make it hard to resist, baby.” you sighed dramatically, though your cheeks were pink. “i give up. you’re going on stage like this.”
“no, no, no,” he said quickly, laughing. “i’ll behave this time, i swear.” you arched an eyebrow. “you said that five kisses ago.”
“this time, i mean it,” he said, leaning back in his chair and clasping his hands in mock innocence. “scout’s honor.”
the other members started laughing. jake smirked at riki from his chair. “you’ve got it bad, riki.”
“jealous?” riki shot back, unbothered by the teasing.
you sighed, rolling your eyes but smiling as you reached for the lip tint again, applying it with quick, practiced strokes. riki stayed still this time, though you could feel his eyes on you the entire time. “there,” you said at last, stepping back to inspect your work. “you’re ready.”
“perfect,” he said, glancing at himself in the mirror. then he turned to you with a cheeky smile. “almost as perfect as you.”
“flattery won’t save you if you mess it up again,” you warned, though you couldn’t help but smile. a knock on the door interrupted them and the groups manager poked their head in. “you guys are on in five.”
“got it!” riki called, standing up. he looked down at you, his expression softening. “wish me luck?”
“break a leg,” you said with a small smile, your voice gentler now. “and please don’t kiss anyone on stage.” he chuckled. “you know my lips are only yours.”
with a wink, he was gone, leaving you to clean up your station. you could hear the deafening roar of the crowd as the show began and a small smile tugged at your lips. as exasperating as he could be, there was no denying how proud you were of him.
hours later, the concert was in full swing. you watched from backstage, your heart swelling with pride as riki belted out the final dance moves of their song. his moves effortless and smooth, his stage presence captivating as always. by now, he and the other members took their final bows and headed offstage.
riki burst into the dressing room, still glowing with the adrenaline of the performance. his hair was damp with sweat, his shirt clinging to him, and he looked every bit of the star he was.
“y/nnn,” he called, his voice still slightly hoarse. he scanned the room until his eyes found you and his face lit up. without hesitation, he strode over, pulling you into a tight hug.
“riki, you’re all sweaty!” you protested, laughing as you tried to push him away.
“and i missed you,” he said smiling, grabbing your chin, turning you to face him, and leaning in without hesitation to kiss you before you could respond. his lips still tinted faintly with the remnants of his stage makeup. when he pulled back, your own lips bore the faint coral hue.
“you just kissed off the last bit of your lip tint,” you said, your voice soft but teasing. “good,” riki said, his grin boyish and unrepentant. “it belongs on you anyway.”
their moment was interrupted by the other members filing into the room. jake let out a low whistle, grinning as he pointed at the couple. “you really can’t keep your lips off her, huh?”
“you’re gonna wear her out before the next show,” joked jungwon. riki rolled his eyes but kept his arm firmly around your waist. “jealousy isn’t a good look on you guys.”
“sure, sure,” jake said with a laugh. “just try not to kiss off her patience, too.” you shook your head smiling, “too late for that.”
riki leans down to kiss your lips again and looked into your eyes, ignoring the teasing entirely. “lucky for me, she loves me anyway.”
“unfortunately for me,” you muttered, though the warmth in your smile gave you away.

classmate!jungwon who you always find quietly saving you a seat, even if he acts like it’s just a coincidence. he smirks slightly when you thank him, but the pink dusting his ears gives him away.
classmate!jungwon who never stammers but still gets a little flustered when you catch him staring. he always remembers the little things—like how you take your coffee or which pens you prefer for notes.
classmate!jungwon who notices when you're tired and casually pushes a coffee toward you, acting nonchalant but tapping his fingers against his cup as he waits for your reaction. "thought you might need this."
classmate!jungwon who always offers to walk you back to your dorm, his voice steady but warm.
"it’s getting dark," he says, eyes holding yours this time. "i’d feel better if you weren’t alone."
bf!jungwon who always has a hair tie on his wrist, smoothly handing it over when you need one. he even stayed up all night watching tutorials and practicing how to tie hair just so he could do it for you if you ever needed help.
one evening, as you're cooking, he gently gathers your hair and ties it back without a word, his fingers careful and precise. "don’t want it getting in your food," he murmurs, a small, proud smile on his lips.
bf!jungwon who gives you a small bottle of pepper spray one day, his ears turning pink as he says, "just in case. i’d worry too much if you didn’t have it."
bf!jungwon who insists you use his name whenever you order food for pickup because he thinks it’s safer.
"but why yours?"
"because it's safer to use a guy’s name," he shrugs, but the way he fiddles with his sleeve betrays how much he’s thought about it.
bf!jungwon who instinctively pulls you closer in a crowd, his hand easily finding yours like it belongs there, his cheeks slightly pink but his grip firm.
bf!jungwon who melts when you rest your head on his shoulder, tilting his head slightly so he can rest against you too, pretending it’s no big deal but secretly loving every second.
bf!jungwon who gives you his hoodie even when he’s freezing, rolling his eyes playfully but still nudging it toward you. "i’ll be fine, just take it."
bf!jungwon who never lets you doubt how much he cares about you. who makes sure you’re safe, warm, and loved every single day.
"i don’t care what happens, i just need you to be okay."
he has and always will put you first.

Bedroom warfare: part 1
Itzy Yuna x m reader A/N: Angst, smut is for the next part! Word count: 2,434 words.
Tumblr media
You’re looking forward to this. A rare night off, some drinks, catching up with your best friend, and finally meeting the girl who has him acting like she hung the very stars in the sky. He talks about her constantly, non-stop bragging. How she’s different, how she keeps him on his toes. You can’t remember the last time he was this into someone, so yeah, needless to say you were curious.
The roads are getting bad, snow already piling along the curbs. You should’ve come earlier, but fuck it, you made it.
You step up to the door, stomp the snow off of your boots and knock twice before letting yourself in. The second you touch the handle, time stops. The cold hits you, but it's a different kind of cold from the snow. A voice in your head screams that opening this door will certainly lead to doom.
The feeling is so sharp, so visceral, you freeze.
A warning.
You ignore it. This is ridiculous. Staying outside any longer might actually make you freeze. You push the door open.
And then you see her. The voice was right.
Yuna.
She’s curled up on the couch, leaning casually into the cushions like she’s not a demon wearing human skin. Like she hasn’t detonated a nuclear bomb just by existing in this room. There’s no flicker of shock on her face, no moment of hesitation. Just a perfectly practiced smile as she glances up at you, eyes alight with smug confidence and feigned warmness. She was prepared.
“Hey, man!” Your friend’s voice cuts through your brain’s searching for an escape route as he claps a hand on your shoulder. “Glad you made it. Roads are getting bad out there.”
“Yeah,” you manage.
Your friend smiles that big, dumb smile of his, completely oblivious to the way Yuna’s gaze hooks into yours like a knife. “Come in, man. Get comfortable.”
You step forward on autopilot, hanging your coat by the door like you’ve done hundreds of times. Yuna watches without a single crack in her facade, her body language relaxed, deliberate. As if she’s making sure you understand—play along. Do not fuck this up.
“This is Yuna,” your friend continues, gesturing proudly. “Babe, this is my best friend. The one I told you about.”
The one she already knew. The one whose hands were once all over her, whose voice whispered filth into her ear, whose name she moaned as he took each hole of hers as his, whose life she set on fire and walked away from without looking back.
Yuna smiles, tilting her head just slightly. “Nice to finally meet you.”
The fucking nerve on her.
Emotions swell inside you, a festering wound ripping open, but your face doesn’t betray it. You match her smile with an empty one of your own. “Yeah. Likewise.”
You sit across from them, forcing yourself to ignore the way she’s curled into his side, the way his hand rests on her thigh like a claim. It’s all too much.
Your friend, completely unaware of the hurricane tearing through the room sweeping up only you and Yuna, leans back with a content sigh. “She’s incredible, man. Like, seriously. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone like her.”
Yuna meets your gaze, and you’d have died if looks could kill, then smiles at your friend. “You exaggerate too much.”
“Not even,” he laughs. “I told him you were different. I mean, look at you.”
You do. She stares back at you. Right at you. Like she’s daring you to say something.
You force a smirk. “Yeah. I’m happy for you.”
The night stretches on, a slow suffocation wrapped in forced pleasantries and underlying malice.
Yuna brushes past you as she walks to the kitchen, her nails grazing your wrist just enough to feel like a scratch. It’s intentional, a silent reminder that she can still reach beneath your skin whenever she wants.
You let your expression remain neutral, but when she returns and settles beside your friend, you decide to push back. You swirl your drink in hand, voice casual but with deadly precision. “You ever think about loyalty?”
Your friend laughs, oblivious. “Deep question, man. What, you been betrayed by someone?”
Yuna knows. Her grip on her boyfriend’s hand tightens, her jaw flexing for the briefest second before she smooths it over with a small, cutesy sound. “Is that something you’re struggling with?”
A sharp retort, coated in molten sugar.
You grin, eyes transfixed on hers, where her soul would be if she had one. “Nah. Just thinking about how rare it is these days.”
She tilts her head unimpressed, expression unshaken by your taunt. “Guess it depends on who you’re with.”
Your friend laughs again, oblivious to the daggers flying inches from his head. “Damn, this is getting deep for a casual night.” Bless his stupid heart.
Yuna goes on to laugh a little too hard with one of your friend’s jokes, her fingers running over his arm as she throws a glance your way. It’s like she wants you to know. See? I can be happy without you.
While your friend isn’t looking and off to get another drink, you lean in slightly, whispering just loud enough that only her ears catch it. “So how long will it be before you cheat on him, too?”
Yuna’s smile doesn’t waver, but her eyes flicker with something dark. “Didn’t know you were still this bitter. Having a hard time getting over me?”
Your friend is none the wiser, sipping his drink and rambling on about something you aren’t even listening to. He doesn’t see the silent war happening right as he returns, doesn’t feel the tension stretching thin enough to snap.
And Yuna? She sits there, composed, graceful, effortlessly charming. Like she hasn’t spent the entire night digging her nails into old wounds just to watch them bleed.
You can’t wait for this night to end.
Your friend’s phone buzzes against the coffee table, cutting through the forced, suffocating conversation. A moment of relief. He barely looks at the screen before answering.
“Hello?”
A pause. His expression shifts. It’s subtle at first, then tightening with concern. That big, dumb smile evaporates.
“What? When?”
Yuna straightens beside him, her fingers curling slightly on her lap. You watch the way her entire body goes rigid, instinctively responding to the shift in energy. The room tilts, like the balance of power is about to change. A ceasefire is called, as your common concern grows ever more concerned.
Your friend exhales sharply and runs a hand through his hair. “Yeah. No, of course. I’ll be there as soon as I can.”
He hangs up, already moving towards the door.
“I have to go,” he says, grabbing his keys from the counter. “It’s my mom. She’s in the hospital.”
Yuna blinks. “Oh my god?”
The snowstorm outside has only gotten worse, and the roads are probably a nightmare. You’re sure he knows that, but there’s no hesitation in his movements. You can’t blame him, you’d be much the same. He’s already halfway to the door, shoving on his coat.
“I’ll be back soon,” he says, then glances between you and Yuna. “You two will be fine, right?”
Like hell you will.
No. No, you won’t be fine. Not alone. Not with her. Anything but that.
You clear your throat. There’s not enough time for an excuse, and you’d feel even worse using one in this situation. “I don’t think it’s a good idea, man.”
He frowns, halfway into pulling on his other sleeve. “What? Are you serious?”
“The roads are bad. You shouldn’t be out in this. Or I could come with you?”
“It’s my mom,” he says, like that explains everything. And in a way, it does.
You swallow any goodness you have left in yourself, attempting one final protest. “Still—”
“Please, stay here, just in case something happens. Yuna doesn’t know what to do if the power goes out. It’d make me feel more at ease.”
If only he knew half of it. But this is not the time to be selfish. He’s your best friend.
Your jaw tightens. Yuna doesn’t react, doesn’t look at you, doesn’t say a damn thing. She doesn’t need to. Everything she wanted to say, you already did. She wants you nowhere near her. But your friend was right. This was the better solution.
Your friend claps a hand on your shoulder. “Just stay, alright? Keep each other company.”
You nod in reluctant agreement. “Yeah. Sure.”
And just like that, he’s gone. The door slams behind him.
A rotten silence taints the air.
The performance shatters instantly.
The false smiles, the polite distance—it’s all destroyed the second his car pulls out of the driveway.
You exhale sharply, rubbing a hand over the back of your neck as you peered over to Yuna. “Fucking hell.”
Yuna scoffs, her arms crossed. “Yeah, I’m not happy about this either.”
She walks past you, and you hate that you recognize every little sway, tilt and strut her body makes. The controlled tension in her shoulders, the barely concealed hostility humming in her eyes. She’s coiled tight, inches away from snapping.
You don’t give her the satisfaction of speaking first. If anything you’d prefer to just sit in silence, minding your own business until your buddy is back.
“Guess it’s just us now.” She laughs. Fuck. So far for silence. It’s sharp, bitter. Venomous. “Like old times.”
Your hands clench at your sides. “Not fucking funny.”
Yuna turns to face you fully, her lips curling into something devious. “Never said it was.”
A charged tension crackles between you, thick with unresolved filth. You can’t look at her without the memories flooding back. The way she felt beneath you as you pounded her down to where she belonged. The way she used to moan your name, confessing her filthy desires and so-called love. The way she made you feel like the only person worthy of her in the whole world—before she tore it all apart.
And yet, despite it all, despite your veins burning with hatred, you can feel it. You know she’s thinking the same thing. Seeing the same memories.
The past isn’t dead between you. Far from it. It’s alive, thrashing, screaming, demanding to be acknowledged.
Yuna tilts her head, breaking your introspection. She’s studying you like a bug nailed to the wall. “You look like you want to say something.”
You exhale sharply. She’s wrong. You don’t want to say something. You want to stay silent. You have to say something. “Yeah. I do.”
“Then fucking say it.”
Your hands tighten into fists, your venomous glands activating. “You cheated on me.”
She doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t look guilty. Just crosses her arms and raises a brow. “Yeah. I did.”
The sheer lack of remorse in her voice sends you over the edge. You expect her to at least soften, to at least pretend like it wasn’t that bad, saving her own skin. But she doesn’t. She stands in it, owns it, like she’s daring you to throw it in her face. Daring you to do something.
She knows just how to press your buttons. It never works out in your favor, but you bite back.
“And yet I’m still the villain?”
Yuna steps forward, voice razor-sharp, knowing exactly what you’d say. “Don’t you fucking dare.”
You let out a humorless laugh. “Oh, right. I forgot. Because you think what I did was worse.”
She doesn’t agree, and the snap in her scowl all but confirms it. “It was.”
You step closer too, closing the distance between you until there’s barely a foot between your bodies. She won’t get the best of you. “You spread your legs for another guy, Yuna.”
“And you turned me into some sex trophy to fucking show off,” she spits.
She’s right, both your words serving as the flame used to light a fuse burning toward an explosion neither of you cares to stop.
Yuna’s voice drops lower, more venomous. “You think fucking me over behind my back was okay? At least I had the decency to keep it private. At least I didn’t—” She cuts herself off, centering herself before continuing. She knows her strikes will land harder if she’s calm to deliver them. “Do you have any idea how it felt?”
You don’t respond. You can’t respond, and she doesn’t stop.
“I found out months later,” she says, voice quieter now, but no less dangerous. “Randomly. Just—stumbled across a conversation between you and your drinking buddies. ‘Look at her tits, isn’t she fucking unreal?’” Her eyes are burning now, the reflection of the impending explosion clearer than ever. “And they agreed. Told you how fucking lucky you were. All while I had no idea you were passing those pictures around like a fucking trophy.”
She had you dead to rights, but you didn’t care. “I was drunk.”
Her laugh is pure ice. Unamused and willing to kill. “Oh, fuck you.”
You began forming something that barely resembles an excuse. Against your better judgement. “I didn’t think—”
“That’s the fucking problem,” she snaps, stepping forward until she’s practically in your space. “You never thought. You never cared.”
You snapped back, your version of the truth different from hers. “That’s not true.”
Her head tilts again. It’s her tell for being in disbelief, her eyes dark. “Isn’t it?”
Silence. You wanted it not long ago, but now it’s suffocating.
You don’t have an answer.
Or maybe you do, but you don’t want to say it. Maybe there is some truth to you being an asshole.
Yuna scoffs at your lack of response, then turns away. You expect her to storm off, to put as much distance between you as possible, but she doesn’t. Instead, she walks to the counter, grabs the bottle of whiskey sitting there, and pours herself a bottom. She knocks it down without effort.
You frown, knowing what kind of omen this was. “Drinking already? That’s a bad idea.”
She scoffs, pouring herself another. “Yeah, you’re famous for being good with alcohol.”
You don’t respond to her accusation. There’s no point. What she did was worse anyway. “Alcohol makes you messy.”
She smirks bitterly, raising her glass in mock salute before taking a slow, deliberate sip. “Yeah?” Her eyes drift to yours, heavy-lidded and absolutely unimpressed. “And whose fault is that?”
You don’t answer.
Because you both know exactly whose fault it is.
And now, there’s nothing left between you but impending destruction. It wasn’t a matter of ‘if’, it was a matter of ‘when’.

SOOBIN IMPREGNATION KINK
—Soobin—
If someone sat you down and asked you to pick one word to describe your boyfriend you’d probably say nerdy. Soobin is truly the classic nerdy boyfriend, awkward and nervous and spends all his time playing video games.
So it truly, truly surprised you the first time you slept with him and he grabbed you by the hair, whispered about how he’d get you pregnant, filled you up till you couldn’t breathe, and left you in a puddle of sweat and cum. Even more so when the next day he pretended it never happened.
To be fair you even start to wonder if it was some weird fever dream. It’s never happened again, he’s always been the perfect, gentle boyfriend in bed, always making sure to wear protection and pull out, leaving you confused with the memories of him fucking you into mush with the promise of motherhood on his lips.
You’ve tried to bring it up, ask him if it’s something he’s into but he always ignores the topic, red in the face as he pretends not to hear you ask if he wants to breed you.
It boils over one night, his shoulders jumping as you reach to give him a massage. “Didn’t mean to scare you.” You whisper, picking up one of the cups of his headphones. “I’m horny.” You barely vocalize it, thumb working at a knot at the base of his neck. “My app says I’m ovulating though…” A groan spills out of him as you move to his tense shoulders. “…so, we probably shouldn’t fuck, you might get me pregnant.” Soobin’s whole body freezes, hands stiff over his keyboard as you press a kiss against his neck, scratching down his back.
He doesn’t bother turning off his game, or even telling his friends he’s getting off, just rips off his headphones and all but tackles you against the bed. You look so pretty sprawled across his sheets, tiny little nightgown leaving you exposed in front of him. Your skin is smooth under his big palms, melting in his grip as he gropes and squeezes.
You gasp at fingers slipping under your soaked panties, the thick digits spreading you open and swiping across your clit. You respond so quickly, shoulders heaving with breathy effort as you reach for him, hands searching for their place on his shoulders. “Bin…” You gasp as his fingers dip into your weeping entrance. “God- Bin- your fingers are so thick.”
“Little cunts just forgotten its shape is all.” He gruffs, kissing your neck. “Needs to be reminded.” His fingers curl up and your toes follow, overwhelmed by the proding against your spongy, swollen walls.
Soobin’s pointer finger pushes past your resisting entrance and he wonders how his dick fits into you when three fingers has you crying “too much.” You shake and fidget as his fingers work your tight hole open.
“You look delicious.” He smiles, knees hitting against hardwood floor. Your thin, sopping, stretched panties cover nothing leaving the sight of your cunt straining against his fingers for Soobin to soak up. “Can’t wait to taste.”
“Bin!” You squeal. “I’ll cum-“ Your hips jump as his tongue flattens against your folds. “I’ll-“
“That’s the point.” He groans before wrapping his lips around your neglected clit. Your fingers pull at his hair until it almost hurts, yanking in tune with his attacks against the nerves.
Your ass is plush in Soobin’s hand, trying to keep you in place. “Stop runnin’ from me, doll.” Your only response is a long whine, hips shaking.
You twist, hands leaving his hair and grabbing onto the headboard attempting to pull your poor cunt away from his unrelenting mouth and fingers. Your shoulders sink as his fingers slip out of you, sweet relief filling you for a second before you realize what you’ve left yourself open to.
Your thighs burn as he pushes them to your chest, lips curled with a smirk as he stretches you. “Maybe you need to be fucked.” He grabs your hands and places them under your knees. “Keep your legs just like this.” He watches your chest rise with effort as he unbuckles his belt, your pretty eyes trained on his hands.
Your breath speeds up as his jeans fall, lip splitting under your teeth as his hand grabs his erection through his underwear. “We shouldn’t have any kids.” He groans, kicking off his boxers. “We’re so busy.” You nod with his words, licking the blood off your lip. “I want to get you pregnant.”
You’re still nodding, nails digging into the back of your thighs as you mindlessly agree with him. His tip prods at your entrance, mushroom cap slipping in and out, slapping against your clit as he humps.
“I need you.” You groan, arms shaking as you struggle to hold yourself open. Need you to put a baby in me.” Soobin’s dick is long and just thick enough to burn and it fills you up so good you’re close to orgasming by the time he’s fully inside, fat tip sitting snug against your cervix.
He starts slow, inching his way out of your stretched cunt until the head catches on your entrance and then slamming his way back inside you. He does it again, angling his hips upwards, looking for the spot that makes you shake so much.
“Feel good?” He groans as he finally hits against it, your eyes watering as he picks up the rhythm in his hips. Your hands fall from your legs but Soobin is quick to pick them back up, pushing them as far up as you can go. “You’re just sucking me back in baby.” He shifts to put his weight on you, smooshing you in between him in the bed so he can kiss your swollen lips. “I’m gonna knock you up.”
Your please is cut off by a whine, pressure building in your stomach as he hammers his hips against yours hard enough to bruise. You try to speak, mouth hanging open in your pathetic attempt to get words out, but all that comes out is weak little whines. “What is it doll?” He coos as your back arches off the bed, hips jumping to meet his. “Look at you,” his tone is mocking, “just fucking yourself on my dick, huh?”
“I’m-“ Your vision goes blurry as your eyes cross, tears stinging down your cheeks. “Soobin” You can’t breathe, your boyfriend's thrusts knocking the air out of your lungs with each unrelenting thrust. “I’m gonna-“ Your cunt tightens as you orgasm, pure red hot pleasure shooting through your body as you cream on Soobin’s waiting dick.
Soobin kisses your cheek, hips still working against yours as you try to calm down. “The more you orgasm the better it is for conception.” He smiles, kissing your neck. “So I need at least one more, ok baby.”
“O..ok-“ You whine. “Are you gonna cum?” You pout, wrapping your hands around the back of his neck.
Soobin’s forehead hits your shoulder, nodding as he drives his hips against yours. “Sure will, doll, I’m gonna fill you up to the fucking brim.” Your heart pounds in your ears as he bullies his hips against yours. “And you’re gonna take it and make it stick, right baby?”
“I will.” You moan, eyes squeezing shut as the man on top of you shifts his weight, crushing you against the mattress. “No-“ Your nails scratch at his shoulders as he runs his fingers down your body and to your puffy clit. Your second orgasm comes fast and hits you like a truck, leaving you shaking like a leaf and full on crying.
“There you go.” Soobin smiles into your skin, hips slowing as he sits up, letting your legs fall to the bed. His big hands wrapping around your waist, so he can slam against you, using you like a fleshlight as he works up to his orgasm. “Take it so good, doll.”
He cums with a moan, fitting his hips as close to yours that he can, filling you up with thick, heady cum.

If there was one thing about Garrick Travis then it was that he was attractive, always had been- even when he was younger. I would be lying if I said I didn't feel something for him. And maybe, just maybe, I would have said something by now if it wasn't for the fact that he's best friends with my brother.
Xaden.
He has enough on his mind. Adding to that is the last thing on my mind. Even if that means I'll have to keep my feelings to myself. Even if that means my heart will keep yearning for what I can't have. At least I can still stare at him. From a distance, in the practice room. It's better than nothing I suppose.
"You're staring." Bodhi muzes next to me. I shoot a small glare his way as I continue to wrap my hands for sparring. "Am not." I respond tense.
Second year is more difficult and stressfull than it seemed. RSC hanging over my head. Xaden has done his part in preparing me but that didn't make it less terrifying and seeing as it's unpredictable when leadership would come and get us, well, that just makes it worse.
Not that I have seen a lot of Xaden lately, he's been occupied with a certain Sorrengail.
That thought brings me back to where I am. Xaden is training the youngest Sorrengail on one of the mats in the corners, Garrick not far away from them as he practices with his sword.
And I'd hate to admit it but I am staring.
After I finish wrapping my hands I stand and pick up my daggers. They had always been my preferred weapon. Light but easy to use.
I go through my usual warm up routine. Swinging them around. It's all going smoothly until I hear a voice call out. "Looking good, beautiful."
I glance toward the voice, only to find Oren—the overconfident third-year with a cocky grin plastered on his face—walking toward me. He’s twirling his sword as if to show off, his steps relaxed.
“Your technique’s good, but I think you’re missing something,” he says, a smirk on his face.
I raise an eyebrow at him, unimpressed. “And what would that be?” He shrugs, a look of mischief appears in his eyes. “A partner. You know, someone to make things more… interesting.” He takes a step closer, lowering his voice. “Maybe someone who can keep up with you.”
I roll my eyes and focus back on my daggers, spinning one lazily between my fingers. “I’m perfectly fine. Thanks though.” I reply sarcastic, focusing back on my daggers. In the corner of my eye i catch Garrick's gaze.
But Oren doesn’t back down. “Come on, beautiful. You’ve got moves, but I bet I could teach you a thing or two. Maybe over a Meal?” His grin widens. I shake off the shiver that runs through my spine. An uncomfortable look on my face.
"Back off Oren." Bodhi's voice cuts through the tension. "She's already got someone to spar with." Bodhi's voice is on the cold side, almost as sharp as my brother Xaden's.
I give Bodhi a grateful smile as Oren retreats a step, his hands up in surrender. The smirk on his face is still present and I can tell he's not finished. For now maybe. But not forever.
I stand by the surrounding crowd. All our eyes are on the mat, at the fight that is happening. It's a good match-- the matches before this one were a little meh but this one is actually good, we might be onto something.
The match ends after the second year taps out. From the corner of my eye I can see Garrick talking to Emmeterio. Why would he talk to him?
"Next match. Seifert and Travis." Emmeterio announces and my heart jumpes in my throat. That can't be a coincidence can it? Garrick against Oren not even a day after the small incident in the sparring room.
I can feel Xaden's eyes on me but I don't turn to face him. My eyes are solely on Garrick as he takes his place on the mat. His face holds the sole emotion of anger.
Oren charges first but Garrick side steps him, around his attack. Oren tries again but Garrick takes a hold of his arm, twisting it and Oren let's out a groan.
I can see Garrick say something to Oren but it's too quiet for me to hear. Garrick starts twisting his arm at an unnatural angle. He puts his leg between Oren's and he falls backwards on the mat. I knew Garrick was a good fighter but he's really good.
Garrick easily straddles Oren, a dagger at his throat and I wouldn't wish the look upon Garricks face to anyone. Not even my worst enemy.
He moves his dagger slightly, enough to draw blood but not enough to seriously injure him. I hold my breath at the sight. There is no way Garrick would actually kill him right?
He presses the blad harder against Oren's neck. I hear the familiar tap against the mat, he taps out. I let out the breath I'd been holding, Garrick slowly gets off him. He takes a step backwards, his dagger still in his hand.
I also take a step back, most people in this room night not know what this means but some do. I can feel bodhi's and Xaden's eyes in my back, burning holes.
I can see Xaden follow Garrick out of the sparring room and I don't hesitate to follow. I follow them quietly until they stop in a dark alley.
"What was that supposed to mean?" Xaden snaps at Garrick. His voice full of authority. I stay hidden behind the wall.
"He was flirting with her last night." I hear Garrick argue, frustration laced in his tone. "I'm aware of that. I saw it to but she can defend herself." Xaden voice grows bored.
"You're telling me you don't care that an asshole was flirting with your sister?" The frustration in his voice grows harsher.
“Of course I care,” Xaden snaps. “But I trust her to handle it. You, however, handled it as though you were issuing a challenge. That’s not protecting her—it’s claiming her.”
Garrick falls silent for a moment, his heavy breathing the only sound in the alley. “Maybe I am,” he says quietly, his voice carrying a weight I’ve never heard before. My breath catches in my throat.
“You don’t get to do that unless you’re willing to back it up,” Xaden warns, his tone razor-sharp. “You don’t get to make her your responsibility unless she’s choosing you. So tell me, Garrick, what exactly are your intentions?”
There’s a long pause before Garrick speaks, but when he does, his voice is steady. “My intentions are to love her. To protect her. To be the one she can turn to for the rest of her life. If that’s claiming her, so be it. I’ve loved her for longer than I care to admit, and I’m done hiding it.”
I press my hand to my mouth, trying to contain the gasp that threatens to escape. Did he just say…?
“And what about her?” Xaden challenges. “Have you even thought about what she wants? Or is this just about you?”
“It’s about her,” Garrick snaps back. “It’s always been about her.” “Then maybe you should say something to her instead of throwing daggers at every man who looks her way,” Xaden retorts. “Because this whole display? It’s not going to win her over. Talk to her. And for both your sakes, stop making me the middleman.”
I hear footsteps retreating, the sound of Xaden walking away. My heart pounds as I realize I’m now alone with Garrick, hidden just around the corner.
I take a shaky breath, stepping out of the shadows. “You could’ve just asked me,” I say softly.
Garrick whirls around, his eyes wide with shock. “How long have you been there?”
“Long enough,” I admit, stepping closer. “Is it true? What you said?”
He looks away, running a hand through his hair. “It doesn’t matter—” “It does matter,” I cut him off, my voice trembling. “Because I’ve spent so long trying to convince myself that what I feel for you is one-sided. That you could never see me as anything more than Xaden’s little sister. And now you’re telling me that you… that you’ve felt the same way?”
His gaze snaps to mine, his expression a mix of hope and disbelief. “You… you feel the same?”
I nod, my chest tightening as the words spill out. “I’ve been in love with you for years, Garrick. But I thought you’d never… I thought it wasn’t possible.”
He takes a step toward me, his hand reaching out to cup my cheek. “You have no idea how hard it’s been, keeping my distance. Watching you with Oren last night, I just… I couldn’t take it anymore.”
“And today?” I ask, my voice barely above a whisper. “On the mat?” “I wanted him to know,” he admits, his thumb brushing against my skin. “That you’re not just some girl to flirt with. That you’re… everything to me.”
I can’t help the tears that well in my eyes as I lean into his touch. “Then stop keeping your distance,” I whisper. “I’m right here.”
He doesn’t hesitate. His lips find mine in a kiss that’s both fierce and tender, years of longing and unspoken words pouring into that one moment. His arms wrap around me, pulling me close, and for the first time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
When we finally pull apart, his forehead rests against mine, his breath warm against my skin. “You’re my everything,” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. “And I’ll spend the rest of my life proving it to you.”
I smile, my heart lighter than it’s ever been. “You’ve already done enough,” I whisper. “But I wouldn’t mind seeing you try.”

Your eyes light up at the sound of the door clicking open. Seungcheol’s back from the gym. He steps into the living room, drops his gym bag, and heads straight toward you with a teasing grin, pulling you into a tight hug.
"No! You’re sweaty!" you squeal, wriggling out of his grasp.
His arms drop, and he puts on a mock pout. "You don’t love me anymore," he mutters dramatically.
"I do, but I love the non-sweaty, non-stinky version of you even more," you tease with a grin. "Now, go shower."
With an exaggerated huff, he heads to the bathroom, leaving you giggling at his antics.
A little while later, he emerges freshly showered, clad in just a pair of loose basketball shorts, his torso on full display. Your eyes instinctively trail over his figure, and you can’t help but notice how much bigger and more defined his muscles look. All those extra gym sessions are clearly paying off.
"Look at you, Mr. Sexy," you tease, smirking. "Going to the gym more often is really working—you’re looking so big and buff."
Seungcheol blushes slightly but breaks into a giggle before flexing his muscles. "Do you notice any specific changes?" he asks, his tone hopeful.
You tilt your head, a little puzzled. "Uh, your muscles are bigger and more toned?" you offer hesitantly.
"But specifically, which muscle?" he presses, looking hopeful.
"All…of them?" you drawl, still unsure what he’s getting at.
His shoulders slump, and a small frown tugs at his lips. Alarmed, you knit your brows, worried you might have said something wrong.
"Cheollie, what’s wrong? Did I say something to upset you?" you ask softly.
"I’ve been working so hard on building my chest muscles just for you, but you didn’t even notice," he mutters, pouting like a scolded puppy.
Your eyes widen in realisation, and an apologetic "Oh" slips from your lips. You quickly get up and cradle his face in your hands.
"I’m so sorry, Cheollie. I didn’t realise," you apologise earnestly.
But Seungcheol only huffs, pulling away to plop down on the couch, arms crossed and his signature pout firmly in place. "I worked really hard just for you," he grumbles.
You follow him to the couch, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and pressing your cheek against his. "And it shows, Cheollie. Your tiddies look amazing," you try to reassure him with a playful smile.
"If they’re so amazing, why didn’t you notice until I told you?" he retorts, huffing again.
You open your mouth to respond but falter, no words coming out. Seeing this, Seungcheol whines and gently pushes you away, his pout unwavering.
"Cheollie," you plead, dragging out his name. "It’s because your tiddies were already perfect, so I didn’t notice the difference."
"Liar," he mutters, furrowing his brows and turning away from you.
"It’s true!" you defend, scooting closer to him, but he just moves to the other end of the couch, arms still crossed like a sulking child.
"Cheollie, come on," you coax, but he ignores you, his back turned stubbornly.
Undeterred, you inch closer and pepper soft kisses on his shoulder. "Cheollie," you murmur sweetly, hoping to break through his resolve. Still, he refuses to look at you, keeping up his act of playful defiance.
With a dramatic huff, you get up from the couch and climb onto his lap, carefully squeezing yourself into his space. Despite your efforts, he stubbornly keeps his head turned away, arms crossed and his pout still firmly in place.
"Cheollie, look at me," you purr, gently taking hold of his chin and turning his face toward you. He finally relents, his wide, puppy-like eyes meeting yours, his lips still pressed into an adorable pout.
"I’m sorry I didn’t notice all the hard work you’ve been doing just for me," you murmur, your thumbs softly brushing against his cheeks as you cradle his face. "But I promise I’ll make it up to you now."
His pout wavers, curiosity sparking in his eyes. "How are you going to do that?" he mumbles, voice barely above a whisper.
"By showing you just how much I love your tiddies," you reply with a mischievous smirk, your tone playful yet tender.
Before he can respond, you close the distance between the both of you, pressing your lips to his in a gentle, lingering kiss. His pout melts away almost instantly, replaced by a soft smile as his arms relax and slide around your hips, holding you close.
Smiling against his lips, you begin trailing kisses down his neck, your touch light and affectionate. A breathy giggle escapes him, and the sound makes your heart flutter.
Your hands shift to his chest, giving them a firm squeeze and earning a soft groan from Seungcheol. Squeezing them again, you marvel at how much bigger they've become.
"Cheollie, you worked so hard just for me?" you ask, your voice filled with awe and affection as you gaze at him.
He chuckles softly and nods, a smug smirk tugging at his lips. "All for you, princess."
Your cheeks flush, and a warm glow fills your chest at his words. He puts in so much effort, going to the gym every single day just for you. Your heart swells with love—he really is your Cheollie.
You press another tender kiss to his lips and softly murmur, "I love you," before letting your attention drift to his chest.
You start by peppering his chest with soft kisses; he lets out a soft chuckle and murmurs, "That tickles." You gently sink your teeth into the muscle, eliciting a groan from him. You hum softly against his chest before leaning in to suck on the tender skin, releasing it with a gentle pop.
"So perfect, just for me," you mumble before sucking on another part of his chest.
Seungcheol throws his head back and lets out a soft moan as he savours the mix of pain and pleasure coursing through him, his cheeks flushing at your words. Slowly, you trail your way up to his neck, leaving a path of purple and red marks in your wake.
"My perfect Cheollie," you whisper softly against his neck before peppering it with love bites, making sure the world knows exactly who he belongs to.
Your hands go back to squeezing his plump chest, squeezing them like a stress ball. Taking each nipple into your hand, you start rolling the bud against your fingers, earning a whimper from him.
You can't help but roll your hips against his when you hear the pretty sounds escaping his lips. You giggle when you hear him groan and teasingly grind against him once more.
"Always such a tease," he mutters, his voice strained, making you giggle.
"Can’t help it," you reply with a playful grin.
You lean down and look up at him as you lick a long stripe from the base of his chest up to his neck. Seungcheol can’t help but let out a deep chuckle at your actions. You throw him a wink before taking one of his nipples into your mouth, sucking the sensitive bud. He exhales deeply, his hand slipping to the back of your head as he gently presses you closer against his chest.
You run a teasing hand down his torso, stopping at his crotch. You slip your hand into his shorts without warning, grinning when you find that he's not wearing anything underneath. Wrapping your hand around his dick, you earn a groan from him when you press your thumb against his slit.
His breath hitches when you start stroking him at a teasing pace. Your tongue continues to suck his sensitive bud whilst your hand continues to toy with his shaft. You let go of his nipple with a pop, moving to give the other one equal attention.
Desperate for more, Seungcheol starts to buck his hips into your hand, a soft whimper escaping his lips. You giggle at his helpless state, leaning back to look down at him with a teasing grin.
"What’s wrong, Cheollie?" you ask, smirking playfully.
"Princess," he whines, his voice laced with desperation, "don’t do this."
"Do what?" you reply innocently, slowing your hand movements on purpose, earning a frustrated groan from him.
"Princess," he growls, bucking his hips up in frustration.
Deciding he’s had enough teasing, you pick up the pace of your hand movements; Seungcheol throws his head back and moans, hips matching your pace. Leaning back down, you press a few more marks onto his chest, leaving no part untouched by your claim.
"Shit, I'm close," he groans out.
You lean in close to his ear, your voice soft as you whisper, "Cum for me, Cheollie."
At your words, he comes undone. You bite your lip and watch in awe as Seungcheol comes apart beneath you, jaw slacked and pretty moans escaping his lips. He takes a few moments to catch his breath before grabbing your chin, and pulling you into a messy kiss that leaves you breathless, stealing the air right from your lungs.
Pulling away, both of you gasp for breath, your eyes locking as soft smiles form on your lips. He gently tucks a few stray strands of hair behind your ear before resting his forehead against yours.
"I love you," he whispers, his voice tender.
"I love you more," you whisper back, your words laced with affection.
At that moment, it’s undeniable—Choi Seungcheol is yours, completely and utterly yours, in a way no one else could ever have him.

CHAPTER 8 | ALL OUT OF LUCK
w.c. 5.1k
tags. fem!reader, pro-hero!katsuki, aged-up (26), lots of cussing, mentions of food, so much violence. like so much y'all but it's Canon-typical violence, references to (quirk) supremacist views, a (somewhat) graphic depiction of mental health issues
a/n. the content of this chapter is one of the reasons why i almost didn't start this series in the first place. as it turns out, action scenes are deceptively difficult to write—i struggled at first, but i eventually got into the groove of things and found it so fun! so much shit will go down, and i hope you find yourselves at the edge of your seats while reading this <3 please, please let me know what you think and don't be a stranger! enjoy :')

You shoot up at the blaring sound of the alarm clock.
You scramble to reach and turn it off where it stands on the nightstand—quickly, before it wakes Bakugou up—a sigh of relief wracking your body when you manage to do so, a sudden stillness instantly enveloping the room.
That relief doesn’t last very long, though, because you’re once again shot with panic when you look up toward the foot of the bed, only to see the man himself already standing in front of it—fully awake.
“Fuck,” you breathe out, clutching your chest, “You scared me.”
“It’s too early to be this scared, princess,” is his pointed retort, a small hint of teasing underlying his tone. You shoot him a pained smile but don’t say anything back, not finding the courage within you to admit that your hands may or may not be already shaking in anticipatory anxiety.
Instead, you watch him as he does mobility stretches in place, breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth as he warms up his joints and rotates his limbs. He invites you to join him a moment after, and you do, if not in an attempt to ground yourself then in preparation for any physical combat that may ensue later on.
Not much is said between the two of you as you go on to prepare for the day, maneuvering silently within his bedroom and taking turns in the bathroom. He lets you get changed first, and you shimmy yourself in your most comfortable office clothes, finding almost immediately that describing them as ‘comfortable’ might be a stretch. Least suffocating, maybe—but the instructions were clear that you had to look the part, at least so that you could get past the guards and enter the building.
Apparently, you need to infiltrate the place organically to buy you as much time to position yourselves without raising suspicion. Mystically showing up on the premises with a man who will vanish not a moment later wouldn’t exactly be a common sight for the employees manning the CCTVs.
Well, then. You guess your long-sleeved blouse, slacks, and regrettably heeled shoes will have to do.
Not even five minutes after you step out of the restroom so he can get dressed himself, Bakugou emerges in a similarly dark, wrist-length shirt and trousers, and you’re about to comment on this unfamiliar yet…welcome sight when your eyes catch his notoriously unruly head of hair—magically pushed back, revealing his forehead.
Now, of all the things that strangely popped into your mind upon seeing him—handsome definitely wasn’t one of them—what you end up blurting is: “How the hell did you style it that fast?”
“Huh?” he responds absentmindedly, fiddling with his sleeves as he seats himself on the edge of the bed opposite from you. “Style what?”
You gesture towards his head. “Your hair. Hasn’t it always been a little hard to control?”
Folding his sleeves right up to his forearm, he then turns to face you, a borderline sheepish expression etched on his features. “’s some extra strong gel. Best Jeanist gifted it to me for my birthday.”
Ah.
“Yeah, well, it suits you,” you offer honestly, averting your gaze just as you think he is about to flash you a smirk. And before he can say anything: “I’m guessing you’re ditching the gauntlets for today?”
He nods, although he’s suddenly looking far from pleased. “No choice,” he intones, “My firepower will take a hit, but I can still get by without them.”
“Enough to kick some ass?”
A grin. “Always.”
You let Bakugou’s well-earned confidence infect you as you finish getting ready together, stuffing your respective bags with things you can let go of in case they get caught up in the fight, before finally walking out of your little sanctuary and into the living room. The twins are on you in an instant, installing your trackers on your chests where they’ve since taken residence for the past two weeks, pulling away without a single word afterward. You mutter a quick thanks, before walking toward Bakugou on the couch and asking him what he wants for breakfast.
“Something light,” is his answer. “Don’t wanna be bogged down by a heavy stomach.”
You end up getting him french toast with a protein shake—whether or not that was light for a man his size, you have no idea—while ordering a croissant and iced tea for yourself. You don’t bother asking the twins if they want to get something as well—opting to just get them breakfast sandwiches and coffee instead. You heard a stomach grumble just a few minutes ago—and it definitely wasn’t yours or Bakugou’s.
The food arrives just as quickly as it did the night prior, and you waste no time digging in. To your pleasant surprise, the twins accept the offering, albeit too begrudgingly for your taste. Maybe letting them starve was the smarter move for today’s final mission, but as you watch them scarf everything down in a matter of minutes, you decide that that’s a trade-off you’re willing to overcompensate for.
By the time you’ve finished eating and cleaning up, it’s a few minutes before 6 AM, and you resolve that as far as D-Days are concerned, the start of this one is going swimmingly well.
Right up to the moment Kouki materializes and grabs Bakugou’s wrist but not yours.
“Change of plans.”
At that, you instantly freeze just as Bakugou barks: “The fuck do you mean change of plans?”
That doesn’t seem to faze the teleporter, who instead regards the pro-hero with a stern, almost chastising look. “You’re needed in one of the schools. You’re coming with me.”
Somehow, you snap out of it. “But you said—”
“It’s a direct order,” he spews, now looking at you with such intensity that has your blood turning cold. “One that you have to follow. Unless…”
“Unless, what?” growls Bakugou.
He smiles. “Unless you want us to call off the entire operation and teleport where you can’t find us.”
Fuck.
Beside you, Bakugou must be thinking the exact same thing, because he suddenly goes quiet.
Kouki harrumphs. “That’s what I thought.”
Neither Bakugou nor you say anything else in protest after that, acutely aware of the gamble that has to be made.
It’s clear as day: either you follow the order and divide and possibly conquer, or resist and lose them altogether.
Perhaps for good.
Armed with the explosives Bakugou made himself, no less.
You chance a glance at the pro-hero, and the impassive look on his face is enough to tell you what he’s decided on.
You’re running out of time and you also need to say something, you know that. Otherwise, he’s going to think there’s something more important to the two of you than seeing the operation you’ve been devotedly ‘working on’ to fruition.
Something beyond just two lovers ensuring each other’s safety.
Forcing yourself to meet Kouki’s steely gaze, you finally relent and nod. “How’s the rest of us gonna get to our post, then?”
“I’ll come back right after I teleport him,” comes his speedy answer, seemingly satisfied with your newfound enthusiasm. “I’ll take you three to where Masaki is waiting near the Prime Minister’s Office.”
“He’s already there?” you can’t help but ask, suddenly nervous at the mention of the kingpin.
You still don’t know his quirk.
“Yes, and he mustn’t be kept waiting,” Kouki says cuttingly, before turning to regard Bakugou, whose wrist he’s still holding. “We’ve to get going.”
“Alright,” the pro-hero grits out, shrugging off the man’s hold, “Just—give me a sec.”
For a second, you think he’s going to head to the restroom to pee before the ‘mission’ starts, but then he’s stepping towards you, and you barely manage to stop yourself from tilting away when he leans into your space, immediately followed by a firm grip on your shoulders. Despite yourself, you gulp.
Bakugou lets out a long exhale. He’s not looking at you—you note—gaze directed towards the floor. You decide then and there that you don’t like seeing him like this.
Like he’s actually…scared.
“Hey,” you whisper, and he looks up, finally meeting your eyes. You almost stumble at the sheer intensity of them.
Almost.
In spite of that—and you don’t know how you do it—you manage to smile at him, as genuinely as you can.
“What are you so worried about?” you tease, voice soft enough for just him to hear. “I’ll be okay.”
To your dismay, that doesn’t make Bakugou laugh—countenance still grim—but his features do soften. So minutely, the change is almost imperceptible—but it’s there.
“How can you be so sure?” he actually whispers back.
That makes you grin, the answer already at the tip of your tongue.
“Because you don’t date losers.”
Now, at your quip, you expected him to at least smile. Maybe chuckle, if that punchline came out funnier than you intended it to.
But what you absolutely didn’t expect was for him to grab you by the neck and pull you into a kiss.
It takes you a second to realize what’s happening, body rigid in utter surprise, but you eventually relax into his hold, wrapping your arms around his torso as he deepens the kiss. A few more seconds pass by with your lips interlocked before he finally pulls away, face flushed and a little out of breath.
“Be careful,” he eventually gets out a beat later, and you nod, suddenly hyperaware of the three pairs of eyes watching you.
Kouki’s especially.
“You, too,” you call out to Bakugou as he lets go and returns to the spot beside Kouki, who once again takes his gauntlet-less wrist.
“We’ll be off, then,” the old man announces, and just like that, they’re gone.
Tumblr media
Kouki returns—alone—in record time, an inexplicable expression written on his face. You debate whether or not to ask him how things are at Bakugou’s location, ultimately deciding against it when the man impatiently beckons you to move. You promptly approach and hold onto him just as the twins adjust their portkeys without much complaint, all the while trying to ignore the churning sensation at the pit of your stomach.
The borderline nauseating feeling doesn’t get any better as you get whisked away from Bakugou’s apartment unit in a matter of seconds, suddenly finding yourself sat as you emerge in what you think is an SUV—judging by the size of its interior. You squirm in your seat—too caught up in the discomfort of being squished between Kouki and Omiru in the back—to notice it.
But then you look up, and when you do, the churning from earlier stops and your stomach drops entirely.
From where he’s conveniently plastered in the driver’s seat, Masaki turns to fully face you, smiling.
Or at least you think he is, based solely on the upturn of his lips.
Because hiding his gaze is what seems to be hardened, high-tech goggles.
Goggles that completely block your view of his eyes.
Fuck.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
You vaguely register Masaki thanking Kouki for bringing the three of you to him, and you think Kouki must’ve teleported away judging from the faint swell in wiggle room at your sides. But you couldn’t recall when that was exactly, and this very thought sends another shot of panic through you, the taste of bile now blooming in your throat.
You know what you have to do.
Clenching your eyes closed, you center your attention on the primary emotion you’re feeling—fear, unmistakable fear—and pull.
Instantly, you feel your facial muscles relax, cautious enough to let the change appear slowly—both in your face and in your frame.
The last thing you need is to inadvertently confirm any suspicion about your quirk.
Even if it means using a huge chunk of today’s reservoir on yourself.
Taking a deep breath, you let your eyes flutter open, and you’re once again met with the sight of Masaki, whose torso is now turned towards you.
Shit.
You scramble for something to say.
“I-isn’t it a bit too early?” you ask, averting your gaze toward the car window. “Is the Prime Minister even around at this hour?”
You don’t get to see Masaki’s reaction to your sudden question—you wouldn’t be able to study his eyes anyway—but you hear him shuffle in his seat, turning back to face forward. “Yes, he’s expecting a visitor.”
A million questions come up in your head—how he even knows that information is one of them—but what you end up asking is: “How about the rest?”
That must’ve been the right query to ask, because Masaki hums in what you think is approval. “People will be there, Y/N. When the Prime Minister’s around, most of the employees are expected to be present.”
You guess that makes sense.
You don’t say anything else after that, opting to peer at Masaki through the rearview mirror instead. To your surprise, he shifts his head towards the very same mirror, and you’re almost sure he’s looking straight back at you.
He smiles again. This time, a little too knowingly.
“Is there something—” he starts, before trailing off and pointing to his eyepiece. “Oh, this?”
You bristle. Still, you feign ignorance. “Huh?”
“You seem to have been staring at my glasses.”
You let your brows furrow, as if in confusion. “I…don’t think I was?”
“Cut the crap, Y/N,” Omiru suddenly spits at you from the side, and you startle.
“What the—”
“Now, now, Omiru,” scolds Masaki with that placating tone of his. “Y/N might’ve been lying to us but we still have a mission to finish.”
You blanch. “Lying?”
“Unfortunately, yes,” comes the leader’s quiet response, who’s watching the scene unfold behind him through the mirror. “It’s a pity our surveillance men took so long to notice, how you had us acting strangely, that day we met.”
Masaki cocks his head to the side, before: “Your quirk works via eye contact, doesn’t it?”
You stiffen.
“Thought so,” he concludes, and you bite back the urge to close your eyes in defeat. It’s too early to give up.
“Don’t worry, though,” he adds on after a beat, finally bringing the engine to life. “Nothing will happen as long as you cooperate and use luck when I tell you to.”
…Luck.
Did he just say luck?
Your eyes must’ve widened a bit at what he just said, because he continues. “Ah, Bakugou?” he asks, and suddenly you’re hit with the guilt of not thinking about the pro-hero.
Especially when he says the next thing.
“Like I said,” Masaki drawls, “As long as you cooperate, no one gets harmed.”
A pause.
“Even him.”
Tumblr media
Your question gets answered as soon as you stop at the guard house.
Masaki’s quick to take off the goggles before rolling down his window, greeting the primary security guard with such innocence you definitely couldn’t have guessed he was on his way to an assassination if you based on just the encounter alone.
The guard flashes him an easy grin as he greets back, before bringing the walkie-talkie that’s velcroed on his shoulder closer to his mouth. “Masaki Kento of the Korean Consulate, heading towards Building C. I repeat, Masaki Kento to Building C.”
A bunch of static emanates from the device, immediately followed by a robotic voice. “Copy that. Let him in.”
At that, Masaki salutes him a thanks, which the guard returns fervently. You don’t even get to catch a glimpse of the former’s eyes before he’s got the window up and the eyepiece swiftly back on his face.
“Let me guess,” you pipe up as Masaki rounds a curb and drives more slowly as you enter the grounds, “You’re a consul and these two are your domestic bodyguards.”
“Yes,” Masaki readily confirms, “That is correct.”
That explains why he’s almost never present in the headquarters.
“Huh,” is the only thing you can muster, focus now trained on any human that you pass by.
The less they are in number, the better—is what Bakugou said. So far, most if not all of them are decked out in attire guards would normally wear, which you think isn’t much of an unfamiliar sight in this estate.
Eventually, you arrive at the front of what you believe is Building C, stepping out of the vehicle with your handbag in tow a moment later, smoothing the crinkled lines of your slacks. You pretend not to pay attention as an again bare-faced Masaki hands over the keys to the valet, who is off with the vehicle in seconds to what he said was the multi-story car park.
You don’t dare utter a word as you trail behind the man carrying a bulky briefcase you’re positive contains nothing but bombs, with the twins walking in step behind you. You keep your eyes fixed on the staircase as you do, painfully aware of how your nerves are coming back alive, and this time, somewhat more fiercely than before.
You know better than to waste another ounce of your quirk on yourself, though.
And so with ragged breath, you trudge on with anxiety creeping back up your spine, up until you’re met with another guard at the entrance, who makes a quick work of identifying the four of you. You’re introduced as Masaki’s new personal assistant, while the others just reiterate their established titles. The guard then grants you entry, but not before instructing you to register your name at the reception desk.
Masaki thanks the man on your behalf, and then finally—you enter.
The second that you do, though, you can tell something’s wrong.
For one, right behind the desk that you were ordered to approach, was nobody. Not one receptionist.
Nor are there janitors, guests, employees, or anyone that could possibly be in the Prime Minister’s Office at this hour.
Masaki, who just put on the goggles again, must have thought the same thing, because you catch him physically tensing, like this wasn’t part of the plan.
You’re about to ask him—genuinely—why the place seems to be deserted, when it happens.
Something fast lurches from the shadows in your peripheral vision, and you stumble back just in time to see Hiroto slammed to the ground by no other than Kirishima.
The male twin lets out a yelp in pain as the hardened hero wrestles him in his grip, all at the same time as a long string of tape suddenly fills your vision. You look up, and sure enough, there’s Sero swinging right into Omiru foot first, hitting the woman square in the jaw. She staggers violently backward, right into you—but the collision doesn’t happen, because a hand grabs your wrist out of nowhere and you’re pulled to the side.
A tidal wave of relief washes over you as you let yourself get forcefully dragged, but it’s instantly replaced with terror when you look up to see Masaki’s backside instead. From a distance, you hear Kirishima’s voice call out your name, and it snaps you out of your fear-driven trance. Renewed with unbridled strength, you put as much of your weight as you can on your soles and try to wrangle your hand out of his grip, but it’s too strong.
Masaki manages to haul you toward the end of the hallway, throwing you right into an elevator and punching the close button before you can pick yourself back up on your feet. You barely see him pressing the top-most floor before he turns around and grabs you by the shoulders, pinning you hard against the wall.
“You told them about us, didn’t you,” he seethes, manic, but you don’t dare say anything. At your silence, he lifts you a breadth’s hair away from the surface only to slam you back against it. You can’t help it—this time, you cry, a sharp pain sent straight to your back.
“Answer me,” he demands, and you’re just about to knee him in the balls when the elevator dings. You wait for Masaki to get distracted and look away so you can deliver the blow, but it doesn’t happen. His gaze seemingly remains fixed on yours even as he lugs the two of you out of the box, grip unrelenting as he approaches the nearest fire alarm device, smashing the glass before pulling down the lever.
Almost instantaneously, tens of alarms ring out not just on your floor but on the ones below you, and you can only watch in horror as the numbers on top of the elevators freeze.
“Kouki,” Masaki rasps into his earpiece, his two hands busy holding you at arm’s length. “Kouki, do you copy?”
You growl, a surge of indignation washing over your entire body at him blatantly ignoring you. You extend your leg from underneath in an attempt to trip and then pin him down, but he takes notice in the nick of time and staves off your attack.
“Kouki,” he tries again, even as you manage to ram a punch into his stomach, “Answer me!”
You grit your teeth, feeling your limbs quaking as you fight to fend off his grip. Still, your mind wanders as to why he’s calling Kouki now, of all times.
What, so he can teleport him and the twins out of here?
But then he speaks again, and you see crimson red.
“Kouki, kill him now!”
Your body moves before your brain can think—you throw yourself onto Masaki and grab him by the neck. He stumbles backward until he collapses and his back hits the floor, and you take that as an opportunity to immediately straddle him, increasing the pressure on your chokehold. He splutters for a bit, arms flailing and scratching at you, but before you can even think about trying to rip off his eyepiece and potentially taking the upper hand—at least until Kirishima and the rest arrive—he rolls over and has got you pinned under his weight in seconds. He pulls the same move and roughly wraps his hands around your neck, instantly cutting off the air to your lungs. You wheeze, and yet you still struggle even as you feel the last bits of oxygen die out.
He grins at you, and one look at the man’s face tells you he’s gone mad. “You’re on the wrong side of history, Y/N.”
Great, you think to yourself. Those can’t be the last fucking words you hear before you die.
You make one last attempt at seizing his wrist off of you, but—just like many other things in the past five minutes—that doesn’t get to happen, because something flashes in the corner of your eye—so quickly you think you must’ve imagined it. You squint, and in hindsight maybe you shouldn’t have, because, in the second that you do, Masaki is kicked off of your body and slammed straight into the far wall.
Shellshocked, you crawl backward with your forearms as fast as you can, not knowing what the fuck just happened.
But that’s when you see him.
You can only watch in disbelief as Bakugou propels himself across the room in a matter of a millisecond, towering over Masaki’s body instantaneously. “Get back!” Bakugou shouts, and it takes you a beat to realize that he’s talking to you.
You didn’t need to be told twice.
With the little, remaining strength you can muster, you manage to stand back up and hobble towards the corner of the room, farthest from where the two are currently engaging in a fistfight.
It doesn’t take long for you to realize that Masaki’s holding up better than you expected him to, and the very same realization must’ve dawned on Bakugou, because the pro-hero swiftly switches gears and starts detonating small explosions toward the man’s direction.
But then the weirdest thing happens.
Instead of being hit by Bakugou’s blasts, Masaki absorbs them—right where the combustions meet his body—
And then, in the blink of an eye, releases it—almost twice in size—straight into Bakugou.
You hear the pro-hero curse just as he barely manages to dodge the hit. The discharge reaches the wall, leaving scorched marks and massive craters on the surface.
This is bad.
And you don’t even have to look at Bakugou to know that.
Still, the pro-hero presses on, and you stand there—restless—as the fight resumes in front of you. Bakugou’s stopped using his quirk to attack altogether, only using it to expertly maneuver himself in the air. Masaki’s fending off the strikes well enough, even landing a few hits here and there. You try to hold eye contact with him—but it’s no use. He’s still wearing the goggles, and you’ve studied them long enough this morning to be fairly sure that it’ll take more than just a perfect kick to the head to have it taken off.
That’s when it dawns on you.
You can’t manipulate Masaki. That’s for sure.
But you can manipulate Bakugou, who—based on what you can see—is becoming more and more frantic by the minute.
No fucking time to hesitate.
“Bakugou!” you shout, and the man doesn’t even glance in your direction, only shouting back: “What?!”
“Look at me!” you yell, pupils darting in record speed as you follow Bakugou’s volatile line of vision. You weren’t about to miss him when he does.
He doesn’t question your request, but he doesn’t immediately look at you either, too wrapped up in hitting Masaki and not getting hit back.
But then Masaki’s suddenly got him pinned against the wall across you, and you find yourself immediately face to face with him. You scream, “Now!”
Exactly right on cue, Bakugou’s gaze drifts from Masaki’s face to yours, and when you lock eyes, you pull.
Manic adrenaline to laser-sharp acuity.
Acuity that he’s always had since you met him in high school.
As hard as you fucking can—and with all that you have left—you pull.
And just like that, Bakugou’s entire countenance changes. You can only watch as the metaphorical gears in his head seem to come alive and shift—just as he throws Masaki off of him with unmatched force.
But then he does the unimaginable.
He starts bombarding the man with explosions—one blast after another, not allowing him the chance to even sit up and shield himself—and you stare in outright shock as Masaki’s body glows redder and redder.
Just as you think Bakugou’s completely lost his mind with the series of attacks, he launches himself from the wall and dives into Masaki, grabbing the man’s arm, tugging him to the nearest door with one hand and yanking the slab of wood open with the other.
And only as Bakugou throws Masaki into what you think is a janitor’s closet and locks the door behind him does it hit you like a ton of bricks.
“Come on!” Bakugo shouts at you as he presses his entire weight against the door—the door that Masaki’s desperately trying to get through. “Help me lock him in!”
You look around the room for something you can use, your eyes immediately landing on a chair and a moderately-heavy-looking desk. You waste no time grabbing the two pieces of furniture and hauling them toward Bakugou as fast as you can. Taking the chair first, you tilt it by the backrest and lodge it underneath the doorknob until it’s secure enough. You then hurriedly drag the desk to the other side and slide it in front of the door, just as Bakugou propels himself upward and out of the way.
You don’t get to do anything else before Bakugou snatches you by your waist and boosts the two of you toward the floor-to-ceiling windows, smashing against them shoulder-first. You hold onto him for dear life, wincing at the impact even though Bakugou took most of it.
And you’re glad you did everything the way you just did—because not even a second later, the explosion finally goes off—an eruption so massive that you’re both thrown forward from the sheer magnitude alone, the sound of shattering windows and crumbling walls booming in the background. Bakugou loses his balance for a second and you shriek, but he manages to get back into thrusting you into the air with his detonations, carrying you securely in his arms until you reach the ground, gently letting go of you when you do.
The moment your toes touch the concrete floor, though, you’re quick to jump on your feet and hobble away from him.
“Hey—”
Quickly, you tell yourself as you feel the tell-tale pinpricks of tears at the corners of your eyes. Before it’s too late.
But you don’t get to go far enough because Bakugou grabs your wrist, spinning you to look at him. “The fuck do you think you’re go—”
He cuts himself off, the scowl that was just carved on his features instantly falling when he sees your face. “Are you—crying?”
“N-no,” you choke out, although you know it’s no use denying it. You’re already feeling the all-too-familiar closing-in sensation that comes with you overextending yourself.
“Yes, you are, dumbass,” Bakugou retorts, before bringing up his other hand to lightly touch your cheek. “Tell me, what’s wrong?”
At the contact, you clench your eyes closed, fighting down the urge to whimper at the steadily increasing pace at which your heart is irregularly racing.
There’s no doubt about it.
It’s now flooding you—the terror that you’ve secretly been tamping down with your own quirk this entire mission—but especially today.
“Fuck—” you warble, and now you’re sure.
You’re having an anxiety attack.
It all happens in a blur—your brain too muddled with palpable fear to keep track of everything around you—but you vaguely register Bakugou wrapping his arms around you and rubbing soothing circles on your back, as he tried to guide your erratic breathing with his.
You remember shaking violently in his hold, gasping for air and barely managing to will yourself to breathe normally as an undercurrent of dizziness coursed through your veins.
You recall sweating bullets but being cold to the touch, and Bakugou ripping out one of his sleeves to use to wipe away your perspiration. It didn’t really help.
And you don’t know how much time passes with you fighting the nausea on top of everything, even as you heard the distant sound of police sirens, but it does—it somehow does—eventually and strangely finding yourself carried away home.
Home to Bakugou’s.

This Is Not a Temporary Love
For @bucktommyfluffebruary Day 1: Non-sexual Intimacy
Tommy trails calloused fingertips across Evan’s skin, followed by feather light kisses, mapping the landmarks of ink and scar tissue.
Evan runs a hand through Tommy’s curls. “What are you doing?”
“Exploring,” Tommy says between kisses. “Admiring the artwork. Committing you to memory.”
Evan hums and his eyes flutter shut as Tommy ends his journey at Evan’s birthmark, peppering kisses along his brow.
∗∗∗
A few nights later, Evan turns the tables of affection on him. Under Evan’s steady gaze, Tommy feels as if he’s been put under a microscope. His skin heats from Evan’s careful touches and the thought of being on display.
“What are you doing?”
Evan smirks, a playful shine reflected in his eyes. “Admiring the artwork.”
“What artwork?”
Evan smiles as he traces invisible lines across Tommy’s skin. He takes Tommy’s words for the joke they are, not the self-deprecating dig they might have once been.
“Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo?”
“Thought about it, yeah.”
“But…you haven’t wanted anything enough to make it permanent?”
Tommy hesitates. “Are we still talking about tattoos?”
Evan laughs. “I promise it’s not a leading question.”
Tommy looks up at the ceiling. “I don’t like needles.” When he looks at Evan, there’s a soft smile on his face.
“Hey, thank you for sharing that with me.”
After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Evan—still tracing the contours of Tommy’s body—asks, “what would you get if you could?”
∗∗∗
A week later, Tommy shows up at Evan’s loft with takeout for their date night in.
He also gives Evan several packs of tattoo markers and blanket permission to use his skin as his personal canvas.
Evan’s face lights up like Tommy has given him the directions to the Lost City of Atlantis.
Between bites of Lo mein, Evan draws a fortune cookie on Tommy’s shoulder.
“What’s my fortune?”
Evan looks into his eyes and says, “you have a love that will last a lifetime.”
Tommy admires the way the words fall so effortlessly from Evan’s lips. It’s not casual or flippant, but confident and sure—like he’s practiced the thought so many times, mouthing the words until his tongue memorized the shape of them.
Tommy kisses Evan, pouring all the words he doesn’t know how to express into Evan’s open, eager mouth. When they part, Tommy swipes his thumb over the sweet and sour sauce lingering on Evan’s lips.
“Lucky me.”
∗∗∗
After that night, Evan takes every opportunity to mark Tommy’s skin.
And it’s never mindless scribbling. It’s always deliberate, if not reverent, the way Evan moves the markers over his skin. It makes Tommy feel appreciated in a way he hadn’t expected.
When they’re watching movies together on the couch, Tommy’s feet in Evan’s lap, Evan keeps himself busy drawing comic book characters on his legs and thighs.
At the bar, surrounded by their friends and family, who watch with various expressions of confusion and amusement as Evan adds a rainbow of colors to Tommy’s skin. Maddie fondly compares it to giving Jee crayons at a restaurant to keep her entertained. Evan blushes and Tommy laughs, even if the observation misses the mark. Tommy actually likes having a language that only they understand and he thinks Evan feels the same.
In the kitchen, while waiting for dinner to be done, Evan sits him down at the island and asks him about his day, hanging onto every word Tommy says as he inks a new animal onto a different part of Tommy’s arm. First, it’s a penguin. Then a swan, a puffin, a crow.
Evan asks him one night, “do you know what they have in common?”
Tommy looks at the black bird on his bicep. “They all have wings?”
Evan gives him a look that says Tommy’s being deliberately obtuse. He’s listened to enough of Evan’s animal facts to know they’re all animals that mate for life.
Evan draws a wolf on Tommy’s forearm next, a challenging look in his eyes.
In between grueling shifts and the exhausting work of moving in together, Evan continues his artwork.
∗∗∗
Evan holds Tommy’s hand, even though he knows it can’t be comfortable given how cold and clammy it is.
“You don’t have to do this,” Evan says. “We can buy tattoo markers. I can draw on you again if you want.”
Tommy winces at the sound of the tattoo machine coming from the back room of the shop, but he’s determined to see it through. “No, I want this. When I have to take off my wedding ring for work, it always feels like I’m missing a part of me.”
Evan ducks his head and blushes. “If you’re sure.”
Tommy squeezes his hand. “I’m sure.”

Playing Dirty - Liam Mairi
Tumblr media
summary: when their latest round of flirtation turns into something more, reader finds herself on the losing end for the first time. Because Liam isn’t just playing anymore. And when he finally makes his move, she realizes—maybe she never stood a chance to begin with.
pairing: liam mairi x fem!reader warnings: MDNI!, smut, swearing, unprotected p in v, oral (f & m) word count: 3.1k
⸻⸻⸻✦ ♡ ✦⸻⸻⸻
–Liam’s POV–
I am going to die. Not from battle. Not from a wyvern attack. Not even from the war. No. I am going to die because of her. Because Y/N just peeled off her shirt like it was nothing, revealing a tight black sports bra and an equally tight pair of shorts that should be illegal. I feel my brain short-circuit.
Every thought evaporates from my head, leaving only one very obvious fact: She is wearing that on purpose. And she knows exactly what she’s doing. I catch the way her lips quirk when she stretches, rolling out her shoulders, pretending she doesn’t notice the way half the damn training grounds are watching her.
I definitely notice. And so does everyone else.
Sawyer whistles under his breath. “Oh, she’s playing dirty today.” Ridoc snickers. “Wonder who she’s trying to kill.” “Me,” I say immediately. “The answer is me.” Violet, standing beside me, hums knowingly. “Well, it’s about time someone made a move.” I shoot her a look, but my attention snaps back to the mat as Y/N steps up to her opponent—another first-year I don’t recognize.
And then she smirks. Oh, fuck me. Because I know that smirk. That smirk means trouble. That smirk means she’s about to put on a show. And I should look away. I should not let myself get sucked into this game she’s playing. But then she moves. Quick, sharp, precise—like she’s dancing, like she was born for this.
She dodges her opponent’s first hit with ease, twisting gracefully, using her smaller size to her advantage. And then she strikes—landing a hit so fast the first-year doesn’t even see it coming. He stumbles back. She smiles sweetly. And gods help me, I am not okay. Sawyer nudges me. “You’re staring.” I don’t even deny it. “She’s doing this on purpose.” Rhi grins. “Of course she is.”
“She’s trying to get in my head,” I mutter, watching as Y/N dodges another attack, her body twisting in a way that is absolutely illegal. “She thinks she’s winning.” Ridoc snorts. “Well… she kinda is.” I shoot him a glare. “Not for long.”
Because two can play this game. And the second Instructor Emet calls my name, I don’t hesitate. I grab the back of my shirt and tug it over my head, dropping it to the mat before stepping forward, letting my shoulders roll loose, letting my muscles flex just enough.
I hear the sharp intake of breath behind me. And when I turn to face Lorena, her eyes are locked on my chest. I smirk. Got her. Her throat bobs. I raise a brow. “Something wrong, Y/N?” She blinks fast, clearing her throat, forcing her gaze up. “Not at all.” But her voice wobbles.
–Y/N’s POV–
Oh, he thinks he’s so smart. Thinks he can one-up me. Thinks that just because he took his damn shirt off—and yes, okay, it’s annoyingly distracting—he has the upper hand. But what Liam doesn’t realize? I like a challenge.
Instructor Emet doesn’t waste time. “Cadets,” he calls, stepping back. “Begin.” And I don’t hesitate. I lunge first, aiming for his left side. He dodges. I spin, barely missing his grip, and twist—using the momentum to aim a sharp kick at his ribs.
He blocks me with his forearm, but his smile widens. “You’re fast,” he murmurs. I smirk. “You hesitated.” And then I strike again. We move like clockwork—fluid, sharp, precise. Attack. Block. Counter. Strike. It’s a deadly, dangerous dance, and neither of us are willing to give in. But the thing about Liam? He’s stronger.
And the second he catches my wrist, I know I’m in trouble. Because I might be fast, but he’s got sheer, unfair brute force on his side. He yanks me forward, using my own momentum against me, spinning me midair before pinning me flat against the mat.
And suddenly—He’s everywhere. His chest pressing into mine, his breath warm against my cheek, his fingers tight around my wrists. I freeze. Because fuck. Because he’s really close. Because his pupils are blown wide and his golden-retriever face is looking far too pleased with himself.
“Pinned you,” he murmurs, way too smug. I swallow hard. “You think you’ve won.” His grip tightens. “Haven’t I?” Oh, hell no. He’s playing dirty. So I do, too. I shift beneath him—arching just enough, pressing against the solid weight of him, letting my breath hitch just slightly. His whole body tenses. His jaw locks.
And I see it—the brief flicker of panic in his eyes, the moment he realizes that he might have just played himself. I smirk. “Not quite,” I whisper. And then I flip him.
He grunts as his back hits the mat, and before he can react, I’m on top of him, straddling his waist, pinning his wrists to the ground. His eyes go wild. “Oh,” he breathes. Just that. Just oh.
Like he finally understands.
Like he finally sees me.
Like he finally realizes that this game we’re playing? Neither of us are winning.
Because we’re both already gone.
⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻
The second classes end, I don’t hesitate. Liam is still talking to Ridoc about something utterly irrelevant—something about lunch, maybe? I don’t care. Because I have one goal.
I grab his wrist, fingers wrapping tight, and yank. “Whoa—Y/N?” His voice is confused, but his feet follow without hesitation. I don’t stop until we’re behind the massive stone statue near the edge of the courtyard—tucked away from prying eyes, away from everyone.
Alone.
The moment we’re in the shadows, I turn, my back hitting the cold stone, Liam right there in front of me, confused but very interested. “What are you—” “I’m tired of this game,” I cut him off, my voice low, breath coming fast.
His expression shifts—just slightly. His head tilts, watching me closely. He’s amused. That should infuriate me. Instead, it makes my stomach tighten. “Oh?” His voice is soft, teasing. “What game, exactly?”
Infuriating.
I step closer, closing the space between us, looking up at him through my lashes. He’s so tall, so broad, his shoulders blocking out the light. “The one we’ve been playing all day,” I whisper-shout at him, getting angry.
I see it—the flicker in his eyes, the moment my words hit. But then he does something I don’t expect. He laughs. Soft. Low. And then, in one slow movement, he steps closer. And closer.
Until I’m fully pinned against the statue, his hands braced on either side of me, caging me in.
Until I have nowhere to go.
Until his mouth is just at my ear, his breath warm against my skin.
“Y/N,” he murmurs, his voice lower, rougher than I’ve ever heard it. “Stop calling this a game, you know it isn’t.” My breath catches. Oh, fuck. My heartbeat slams against my ribs. I refuse to break eye contact, but my fingers betray me—curling slightly, gripping his bicep just a little too tight.
He notices. And he smiles. A slow, knowing, dangerous smile. “Here’s the thing, baby,” he murmurs, his fingers brushing just barely over my hip. “I see you. I see right through you. You act like you’re in control. Like you’re the one calling the shots.” His fingers tighten slightly. “But that’s not what you really want, is it?”
I don’t react. I can’t. Because he’s right. He knows he’s right. And fuck, that should scare me. But all it does is set me on fire. I open my mouth, but he’s already there—tilting my chin just slightly with his fingers, making me look at him.
“You need someone who isn’t afraid to take control,” he continues, his voice like gravel and heat. “Someone who doesn’t let you push them around. Someone who knows exactly what you need and isn’t afraid to give it to you.”
I suck in a sharp breath. His thumb brushes my lower lip, just barely. And then he pulls back. Just enough to make me feel the distance. Just enough to make me ache. Then he smirks. “Are you going to finally give in, Y/N?” I stop myself to think. Because if we start—We won’t stop.
⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻⸻
Liam pulls me into his room, the door falling softly behind us, the sound of the lock clicking in place. The air between us crackles with anticipation. Before I can even process it, he presses me against the wall with a force that leaves me breathless, his lips crashing onto mine in a searing kiss. His hands grip my sides, pulling me closer, and I can feel the heat radiating off him. I tangle my fingers in his soft blonde hair, tugging at the strands as if grounding myself in the sensation of him.
His lips move from my mouth to my neck, trailing hot, wet kisses along my sensitive skin. My head falls back, instinctively giving him more access, and I shiver, feeling his warmth spread through me. His breath is ragged against my throat, and when he sucks gently on the skin there, a quiet moan escapes my lips. His grin is audible as he murmurs, “Fuck, I’ve been waiting to hear that.”
The sound of his voice makes my pulse spike, and the desire that has been simmering between us finally erupts into something urgent. I pull back slightly to look at him, my eyes locking onto his as I tug his shirt off. The moment his chest is exposed, the dim moonlight catches on the sculpted lines of his body, the muscles flexing under his smooth skin. My hands trace the ridges of his abs, traveling lower, grazing the waistband of his pants, and then finally dipping to the v-line that dips below. My breath catches in my throat as I look up at him, and his eyes are burning with something almost dangerous.
“You’re perfect,” I breathe out, my voice low and full of need.
Liam’s hands travel down my body, undoing the buttons of my shirt with an ease that speaks to how well he knows me. As the fabric slides off my shoulders, I stand before him in nothing but a delicate lace bra, my skin flushed and my heart pounding in anticipation. His eyes drop to my chest, his gaze dark and hungry, and I can’t stop the flush that blooms in my cheeks.
“You’re fucking stunning,” he mutters before his lips crash back onto mine in a kiss that leaves me breathless. I respond, hungry for more, my hands slipping to his belt, undoing it slowly, teasingly, my fingers brushing against the hardness I can feel through his pants. He groans into my mouth, and I smile against his lips as I slide down to my knees before him, feeling the heat of his body against mine.
I look up at him, his body towering above me, and my hands work swiftly to undo his pants. I hear the rustle of fabric, and then he’s free, his cock already thick and hard. I bite my lip, unable to suppress the smirk that tugs at the corner of my mouth.
“Someone’s eager,” I tease, my voice breathy with desire.
Liam’s breath hitches, his hands threading through my hair, pulling me closer. I look up at him one last time before I lean forward, brushing my lips over the tip of his cock. The taste of him is divine, and I slide my tongue along the length of him, savoring the salty, intoxicating flavor.
His hands tighten in my hair, guiding me slowly, and I take him deeper, inch by inch, until I can feel him at the back of my throat. My mouth moves with precision, hollowing my cheeks as I take him in completely, every inch of him filling me. Liam’s breathing becomes ragged as he watches me, his eyes dark and stormy.
“Gods, Y/N,” he groans, his hips thrusting slightly, urging me to take more. I hum in approval, the vibration causing him to shudder beneath my touch. “Fuck, you feel so fucking good.”
I hollow my cheeks, sucking him in deeper, my hand gripping his thick thighs as I let myself fall into the rhythm, sucking and licking in time with his movements. I can feel the tension building between us, the heat intensifying as I take him deeper, pushing him to the back of my throat.
“Fuck,” he curses, and the sound of his voice is raw with need. “I can’t hold back much longer.”
He pulls me off him, and I gasp for air, my lips swollen from the intensity. Without missing a beat, he pulls me up, capturing my lips in a kiss that tastes like fire. He moves with purpose, his hands guiding me onto the bed. His lips travel down my neck, his breath warm against my skin. He’s moving with a controlled urgency, as if he’s trying to savor every moment of this.
He pauses, his eyes darkening as he looks at me with that intense, commanding gaze. “You’re perfect,” he breathes, his hands slipping to the waistband of my panties. In one swift motion, he pulls them off, throwing them aside. He looks down at me, his eyes hungry, and I feel a thrill of anticipation rush through me.
“Gods, you’re so fucking beautiful,” he murmurs, leaning down to kiss the swell of my breasts. His lips tease along the lace of my bra, and I arch into him, desperate for more. My hands slide into his hair, tugging him closer, urging him on.
Without warning, his lips trail lower, and he places a soft kiss on my stomach before continuing downward. My breath catches as he reaches my inner thighs, his breath warm against my skin. I squirm beneath him, and he chuckles darkly, the sound making me ache with need.
Then, finally, he’s there, his tongue sweeping over my most sensitive part. A gasp escapes my lips, and I feel my body tremble at the sheer sensation of his mouth on me. He’s slow at first, his tongue exploring, teasing, before he presses harder, his lips suckling gently. I can feel the tension building inside me, a knot coiling tight as his fingers slip inside, stretching me as he works me open.
“Liam, please,” I whisper, my body arching into his touch.
He responds with a low groan, his fingers moving faster, harder, as his tongue works in rhythm with his hands. I can feel myself unraveling, the pleasure building to an unbearable height. “Cum for me, baby,” he urges, his voice a breathless command.
That’s all it takes. My body shudders as I reach the peak, and I scream his name, the force of my orgasm taking me completely. Liam doesn’t stop, continuing to stroke me through my release, his fingers pumping slowly, drawing out every last tremor.
When I finally collapse back onto the bed, panting and spent, he moves up beside me, kissing my forehead before trailing his lips down to my neck. His breath is ragged, and I can feel his heart racing as his hands roam over my body, grounding me back in the moment.
“Good girl,” he whispers, kissing me softly as he brushes his thumb over my lips. “You’re so fucking beautiful when you come apart for me.”
I smile up at him, hazy with pleasure, my body still tingling from the aftershocks of my release. I run my finger along his jawline, tracing the lines of his face as I catch my breath.
But there’s no time to recover. He’s not done yet, and as he pulls me closer, I feel his cock pressing against my thigh, hard and ready once more. “You good?”, he asks, looking at me with those big blue eyes. My body responds to him instinctively, nodding and craving more of him.
He pushes my legs apart, settling between them as his tongue tangles with mine in a deep, hungry kiss. I feel the heat of him at my entrance, the weight of him pressing against me before he enters with a single, powerful thrust.
"Oh, fuck!" I cry out, my nails digging into his back, leaving crimson marks that I can’t bring myself to care about. He grins at me, eyes dark with desire.
"I couldn’t hold back," he murmurs, his breath ragged as he pulls out slowly before pushing back in, inch by inch.
I moan in response, my body aching for more. "Faster, please."
He obliges, his thrusts becoming relentless, the sound of our bodies colliding filling the room. The rhythm of it—raw, urgent—has me gasping for air, my legs instinctively wrapping around his waist, pulling him deeper. My hands rake over his back, leaving trails of fire in their wake as he kisses my neck.
But I push him away, a spark of something wild igniting within me. I twist, flipping us so that I’m on top. He smirks up at me, his hands settling on my waist, gripping hard. I move my hair from my face, letting it fall over my back as I use my hands to steady myself, planting them on his abs.
This position drives him deeper, and I’m sensitive, every inch of him sending waves of pleasure through me. "Fuck, you look like a goddess, Y/N," Liam moans, his voice strained, and he helps guide my movements with his hands.
I move faster, hips circling, driving him wild. His moans, raw and primal, spur me on. "That’s so good," he groans.
After a few minutes of blissful, unrelenting rhythm, he flips us again.
"Get on your knees, head down," he orders, voice thick with need. I bite my lip and obey, shivering with anticipation.
His thrusts come from behind, a new angle that has us both gasping. The intensity of it makes me push back, meeting each thrust with frantic urgency. His hands find my arms, guiding them to my back, holding me still as he presses my face into the pillow.
The scent of him—warm, familiar, intoxicating—fills my senses, and then his hand lands on my ass, a sharp slap that has me gasping, a strangled moan escaping my throat. It’s so damn sexy, I can’t help but cry out louder.
He drives into me, relentless, and the pressure builds—faster, stronger—until I’m teetering on the edge.
"Can you come for me, baby?" Liam groans, his hips faltering for just a moment.
"Yes, gods, Liam!" I moan, feeling the waves crash over me as my orgasm hits, intense and overwhelming. Moments later, he follows, his hips stuttering as he spills into me, the weight of his release pushing me over the edge again.
For a moment, we both lie still, breathless, before he gently pulls out and falls back onto the cushions beside me. He takes a deep breath, his body still trembling with aftershocks. I move toward him, resting my head on his chest as he wraps his arms around me, pulling me closer, his bare skin warm against mine.
“That was fucking incredible,” he mutters, his lips brushing my temple.
I smile against him, my eyes fluttering closed. “It was. So, so good.”

Hoshi x 14th member please like a very slowburn and members are tired of seeing hoshi like that until they make hoshi confess to her, and he likes her like from the very start in their trainee days, but the members found out he likes her that much after years so yeah, maybe she is the same age as him, he's just a few months older so most of all the members calls her noona noona hehehe
Timing is Everything | idol!hoshi x 14thMember | fluff

Hoshi had always liked her.
Not in the casual, fleeting way people develop crushes during their trainee days no, this was different. It was the kind of quiet affection that settled deep in his chest, growing roots with every passing year. It started with the way she tied her hair in messy buns during late-night practices, the determination in her eyes when the trainers pushed them too hard, and the way she laughed at his dumb jokes even when she was exhausted.
But he never said anything.
Years passed. They debuted. They became family. The feelings stayed.
And the members noticed.
It wasn’t the obvious things Hoshi was careful about that. No lingering stares or unnecessary compliments. But it was the small things: how he always saved her favorite snacks without thinking, how his mood shifted whenever she was upset, how his jokes were always just a little funnier when she laughed.
One day, after another painfully obvious moment where Hoshi practically short-circuited because she called him cute in passing.
“Hyung,” Seungkwan groaned, flopping dramatically onto the couch. “I can’t do this anymore. Just tell her you like her.”
Hoshi’s head shot up, eyes wide. “What are you talking about?”
“Oh, please,” Mingyu chimed in, rolling his eyes. “We’ve known since what? 2016? Honestly, it’s impressive how long you’ve managed to suffer in silence.”
“I’m not suffering.” Hoshi’s voice was high-pitched. Betrayed.
Jeonghan smirked from his spot near the window.
The room burst into laughter, but Hoshi’s face was burning.
“I don’t like her like that,” he muttered, crossing his arms.
Seungcheol snorted. “Yeah, sure. And Minghao doesn’t like painting.”
Before Hoshi could come up with a weak defense, the door creaked open. Y/N walked in, wiping sweat from her forehead, a water bottle in hand.
The room instantly shifted. The teasing died down, but the mischievous glint in Dino’s eyes said it all.
“Noona,” Dino called out casually, stretching his arms over his head. “Serious question.”
She glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. “What now, Chan?”
“If you had to date one of us hypothetically, of course who do you think would be the best boyfriend?”
The room erupted in laughter again. Hoshi’s heart nearly jumped out of his chest.
“Yah, what kind of question is that?” Seungkwan groaned, but the grin on his face showed he was loving every second of it.
She smirked, clearly amused, and pretended to think about it as she walked further into the room. “Hmm… tough one.”
Hoshi stared at the floor, trying to act indifferent, but his ears were turning red.
“Well,” she began, her eyes scanning the room, “Seungcheol would be too bossy. Jeonghan’s too sneaky I’d never know if he’s being serious. Mingyu’s way too clumsy. Vernon? I’d have to compete with his music.”
Everyone laughed, and even Hoshi managed a weak smile, though his chest felt tight.
Then, for just a brief second, her eyes met his.
“I’d probably pick someone who makes me laugh,” she said casually looking at Hoshi. “Someone kind… someone reliable.”
Hoshi swallowed hard. His heart was racing.
“But I’m not naming names,” she added playfully, tossing her towel over her shoulder and heading to grab her bag.
As soon as she was out of earshot, Seungkwan leaned in, whispering through gritted teeth, “She was totally talking about you.”
Mingyu nodded. “If you don’t confess soon, I might do it for you.”
Hoshi didn’t say anything. He couldn’t. His heart was still somewhere on the practice room floor.————————————————————————————-The days after that conversation felt unbearable.
Hoshi couldn’t stop thinking about it her words, the way her gaze lingered just a little too long, the teasing smirks from the members every time she walked into a room. It was like they were all in on some secret that he wasn’t brave enough to face.
But nothing compared to her.
The way she laughed during late-night rehearsals. The casual way she’d nudge his shoulder when he made a joke. The way his heart raced every time their hands brushed, even if it was just by accident.
It was getting harder to pretend.————————————————————————————-A Week Later
She was sitting on the floor, stretching, while Hoshi absentmindedly fiddled with his water bottle, debating with himself.
Just say it. What’s the worst that could happen?
But the words stayed trapped in his throat.
“You’ve been acting weird lately,” she suddenly said, breaking the silence.
Hoshi’s heart nearly stopped.
“Weird? Me? No, I’m totally normal,” he stammered, laughing nervously.
She gave him a look one of those looks that saw right through him. “Come on, you’ve been zoning out, avoiding eye contact, and you’re quieter than usual. What’s up?”
Hoshi opened his mouth, then closed it again. His chest felt tight. He could hear Seungkwan’s voice in his head: ‘She obviously likes you too. Just confess.’
But fear held him back. What if it ruined everything?
“I’m just… tired,” he muttered, looking away.
She didn’t press further, but the tension hung in the air, thick and heavy.————————————————————————————-The Next Day
“Okay, that’s it,” Seungcheol declared, slamming his palm on the table during lunch. “We’re staging an intervention.”
Hoshi blinked. “What?”
Jeonghan leaned in with a wicked grin. “You’re confessing today. No more excuses.”
Mingyu nodded, his mouth full of rice. “Yep. We’re tired of watching you suffer.”
“I’m not suffering—”
“Oh, please,” Seungkwan cut in. “You looked like you were about to faint yesterday when she asked if you were okay.”
Before Hoshi could protest, the door swung open, and Y/N walked in.
Perfect timing.
Seungcheol didn’t miss a beat. “Hey, Y/N. Hoshi has something to tell you.”
Hoshi’s eyes widened in horror. “Hyung!”
She paused, looking between them, clearly confused. “Uh… what is it?”
The room went silent. All eyes on Hoshi.
His heart was racing. His hands were clammy. But then she smiled just a small, curious smile and something in him snapped.
Hoshi stood up so quickly he nearly knocked over his chair. “I—I like you!” he blurted out, voice louder than intended.
Silence.
The words echoed in the room.
Her eyes widened slightly, clearly surprised. Hoshi felt like he was going to pass out.
“I’ve liked you for a long time,” he added, his voice softer now, but more steady. “Since our trainee days. I just… I was scared to tell you because I didn’t want to ruin what we have. But I can’t keep pretending anymore.”
The room was dead silent for a beat then Seungkwan dramatically covered his face like he was watching a drama unfold.
Y/N didn’t say anything at first. She just stared at him, and Hoshi felt like the ground might swallow him whole.
But then she smiled. A real, soft smile.
“I was wondering when you’d finally say it,” she said quietly, her eyes warm.
Hoshi blinked. “Wait… what?”
She stepped closer, her smile widening. “I like you too, idiot.”
The room exploded with noise cheering, laughter, Seungcheol shaking Hoshi by the shoulders like a proud dad.
Hoshi just stood there, stunned, until Y/N gently reached for his hand. That’s when it hit him.
She likes him back.
All those years of quiet longing, small glances, unsaid words it was all worth it.
And the members?
They claimed victory like it was their confession.————————————————————————————-It’s the same night and Y/N couldn’t sleep.
Her heart had been racing since Hoshi’s confession. The words kept replaying in her mind like a song she couldn’t turn off.
“I’ve liked you for a long time.”
She had waited for so long to hear those words. But now that she had, it felt like something inside her had snapped a tension she didn’t even realize she’d been holding. She needed more than words. She needed him.
Without overthinking, she quietly slipped out of her room, her footsteps soft against the wooden floor. The hallway was dim, shadows dancing along the walls. She paused briefly in front of Hoshi’s door, her heart pounding like a drum.
Just do it.
She knocked softly, barely giving herself time to reconsider.
The door creaked open, revealing Hoshi in a simple t-shirt and sweatpants, his hair slightly messy from sleep. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw her standing there.
“Y/N? Are you okay?” he asked, his voice soft and slightly raspy from sleep.
But she didn’t answer.
Without a word, she stepped into his room, shutting the door quietly behind her.
Hoshi barely had time to process before she crossed the space between them in quick, determined steps. She reached up, cupping his face with both hands, and pulled him down into a kiss.
It wasn’t hesitant. It wasn’t shy. It was everything she’d been holding back weeks, months, years of quiet longing poured into a single, desperate moment.
At first, Hoshi froze, his eyes wide with shock. But then something in him melted.
His hands found her hips instinctively, pulling her closer, erasing the space between them. His lips moved with hers, gentle at first, then deeper, more certain. Like he was making up for all the time they’d wasted.
When they finally pulled apart, both breathless, Hoshi’s eyes searched hers, his heart racing wildly.
“W-What was that for?” he whispered, his voice barely steady.
Y/N smiled softly, her forehead resting lightly against his.
“I’ve been holding back for too long,” she whispered, her fingers still gently cradling his face. “You finally said how you feel… so now I can finally say it too.”
She leaned back just enough to look into his eyes, her gaze sincere.
“I love you, Hoshi.”
The words hit him harder than he expected. His heart felt like it might burst.
A slow smile spread across his face, soft and full of warmth. He brushed a strand of hair from her face, his thumb lingering gently against her cheek.
“I love you too,” he whispered back, his voice filled with so much emotion it made her chest tighten.
He kissed her again softer this time, slower, like he had all the time in the world. And for the first time, they did.
No more hiding.
No more holding back.
Just them.————————————————————————————-

The towering cliffs of Casterly Rock loomed ahead, an imposing mass of stone and gold as the Lannister procession made its final approach. The air carried the scent of salt from the Sunset Sea, and the banners of House Lannister billowed in the wind, their crimson fabric vivid against the gray sky.
Jaime rode at the front, his posture rigid yet composed. He had spent so many years away from his childhood home that its sight stirred something uneasy within him. It was a strange feeling, to return not as the Kingslayer or member of the Kingsguard, but as the heir, as a future husband. The title felt unfamiliar, ill-fitting, but it was one he could not escape.
He stole a glance at you. You rode beside him, Winter padding alongside your horse with effortless grace. Your expression was unreadable, but Jaime could see the way your gaze swept over the towering fortress, assessing, measuring. He wondered what you thought of it—whether you saw it as another cage, another prison of stone.
Bronn, as usual, had little reverence for the occasion. “Well, isn’t this a sight?” he mused, letting out a low whistle. “Big, isn’t it? Almost makes the Red Keep look like a brothel.”
Jaime smirked. “I wouldn’t say that too loudly. The walls have ears.”
Bronn shrugged, adjusting his reins. “What do I care? I’m just here to make sure you don’t fall off your horse.”
Ahead, the great gates of Casterly Rock swung open, and a welcoming party stood at attention. At its head was Ser Kevan Lannister, his expression carefully composed as he surveyed the arriving group. He stepped forward as Jaime and the rest of the party dismounted.
“Welcome home, Jaime,” Kevan said, his tone steady, though there was a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. “And welcome, Lady Stark.”
You inclined your head slightly, though your expression remained guarded.
Kevan’s gaze flickered to Winter, who had stationed himself protectively by your side, his blue eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings with keen intelligence. The men around Kevan shifted uneasily, their hands lingering near their swords as if the direwolf might decide to attack at any moment.
Jaime noted their nervous glances and smirked. “You’re all acting like you’ve never seen a direwolf before.”
Kevan exhaled through his nose. “Not this close,” he admitted. “And certainly not one this size.” His gaze drifted back to Winter, who huffed in response, his ears flicking forward.
“He won’t bite,” Bronn quipped from behind Jaime. “Not unless you give him a reason to.”
Kevan gave Bronn a withering look before turning back to Jaime. “Your father sent word ahead of your arrival. The Rock is prepared for your stay, and arrangements have been made for the wedding.”
Jaime forced a smile. “Of course they have.”
Kevan’s gaze flickered toward you again, his tone carefully neutral. “Lady Y/N, if you require anything, the servants will see to it. My wife, Dorna, has prepared suitable accommodations for you.”
You inclined your head again but said nothing, your fingers absently brushing against Winter’s fur as he pressed against your leg.
Jaime took the moment to step closer to Kevan, lowering his voice slightly. “How much of this was truly my father’s doing?”
Kevan’s expression didn’t change. “All of it.”
Jaime sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Of course.”
Kevan hesitated before adding, “Tywin expects everything to proceed without incident. You understand that, don’t you?”
Jaime’s smirk was laced with something bitter. “When have I ever caused an incident?”
Kevan gave him a knowing look but said nothing more.
From behind them, Bronn let out a dramatic sigh. “Are we going to stand around all day, or are we going inside? I could use a drink.”
Jaime chuckled despite himself and gestured toward the entrance. “Come, then. Let’s see what my dear father has in store for us.”
With that, the procession moved forward, the weight of Casterly Rock settling over you both like an unshakable shadow.
Tumblr media
The great doors of Casterly Rock swung open, revealing the grandeur of the Lannister stronghold. The halls were immense, carved directly from the mountain itself, their golden hues reflecting the torchlight that lined the towering stone walls. The floors were polished marble, rich red-and-gold banners hanging from the arched ceilings. The air carried the faintest scent of the sea, mingling with the ever-present scent of burning wax and the cool dampness of the rock.
You stepped inside, your boots clicking against the smooth floor as your gaze swept over the cavernous hall. The sheer scale of it was overwhelming—the towering pillars, the intricate carvings, the wealth on display in every corner. It was nothing like Winterfell, nothing like home.
Reality settled on you like a crushing weight.
This was it.
This was your future.
No more trying to outrun it, no more hoping that some unforeseen twist of fate would change your course. You were in the heart of Lannister territory now, surrounded by their banners, their men, their legacy.
A gilded cage, no matter how grand.
Jaime walked a few paces ahead before slowing his steps, turning slightly as if sensing the shift in your posture. His green eyes flickered over your face, steady and observant, before he spoke, his voice quieter now.
"Feeling trapped already?"
You inhaled slowly, steadying yourself before lifting your chin. "Should I not?"
Jaime studied you for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with an almost imperceptible sigh, he turned fully to face you. "I won’t lie to you," he said, his voice low, just for you. "This place can feel… heavy. Even for those born to it."
Your fingers curled slightly at your sides. "And yet, you chose to bring me here."
He tilted his head, lips pressing into a faint smirk, though there was no mockery in his tone. "Would you rather be in the Dreadfort?"
Your jaw tightened, but you didn’t answer.
Jaime exhaled, glancing around before stepping closer, lowering his voice again. "It’s not Winterfell, I know. And it never will be. But you are not a prisoner here, Y/N. No matter what my father might think."
You met his gaze, searching for any trace of deception. To your surprise, you found none.
Before you could respond, Kevan cleared his throat, reminding you both of the watching eyes. "Come," he said. "Your chambers have been prepared."
Jaime straightened, his composure sliding back into place as he gestured forward. "After you, my lady."
You hesitated for the briefest of moments, then stepped forward, your spine straight, your expression schooled into something unreadable. Winter padded close to your side, his presence a grounding force as you followed the Lannisters deeper into the Rock.
Jaime watched you for a moment longer before falling into step beside you, his smirk fading as something else settled in his chest—something uncomfortably close to guilt.
For a moment, he wondered if he had truly saved you from Roose Bolton, or merely delivered you into another kind of prison.
Tumblr media
The halls of Casterly Rock were quieter at night, though they never truly slept. Jaime made his way toward his uncle’s chambers. He had spent the past hours dealing with the formalities of his arrival, speaking to stewards, acknowledging the gathered household, and enduring the weight of his new responsibilities.
And now, as the evening stretched on, his mind returned to the promise he had made.
Kevan Lannister’s study was lit by a handful of candles, the scent of parchment, ink, and aged leather heavy in the air. A map of the Westerlands lay sprawled across the table, flanked by letters, ledgers, and Tywin’s meticulous correspondence.
Kevan sat at the desk, straight-backed as always, his expression calm but unreadable as he set aside a scroll and gestured for Jaime to take a seat across from him. A servant poured them both goblets of wine before silently departing, leaving the two Lannisters alone.
Jaime leaned back in his chair, swirling the deep red liquid in his cup before speaking. “So, Uncle, what grand tasks await me? Running the mines? Overseeing tax disputes? Or does father have something more humiliating planned?”
Kevan exhaled sharply through his nose. “You’ll be overseeing much of the Rock’s administration, but we will start with matters of trade and military reports. Your father has already outlined the key duties expected of you. I trust you received his letters.”
Jaime smirked. “Oh, I received them. Quite a few, in fact. I could barely keep up with the ink.”
Kevan ignored the remark, instead tapping a finger against the map. “We have shipments that need securing along Lannisport. Ironborn raids have grown bolder near Kayce. We need to reinforce our coastal defenses.”
Jaime listened with half an ear, his fingers drumming against the table. He would handle these matters—he wasn’t incompetent, despite what some may think—but this wasn’t what had been pressing on his mind since they arrived.
After a moment, he leaned forward, his voice dropping slightly. “And what of the North?”
Kevan raised an eyebrow. “What of it?”
Jaime took a slow sip of his wine before setting the goblet down. “Robb Stark. What does father plan for him now that the wedding at the Twins has been canceled?”
Kevan’s face remained carefully neutral, but the way he set down his quill with measured precision told Jaime that he had struck upon something significant.
“That,” Kevan said, “is no longer a concern of yours.”
Jaime scoffed, sitting back in his chair. “No longer a concern? I think it is. Considering I stole his sister from Roose Bolton, I imagine that changes quite a few things.”
Kevan studied him for a long moment before sighing. “If you must know, your father and Lord Bolton have made new arrangements.”
Jaime’s jaw tightened slightly. “What kind of arrangements?”
Kevan hesitated. “Robb Stark still refuses to bend the knee. He marches south, despite knowing he has no allies left. The Riverlords are fractured, and the Freys will not support him after he dishonored their house. Your father has no intention of letting this war drag on any further.”
Jaime’s fingers curled around the armrest of his chair. “Meaning what?”
Kevan met his gaze evenly. “Meaning Tywin and Roose are ensuring it ends swiftly. Bolton has positioned himself in such a way that he can bring the boy down without the need for drawn-out battles. And when it’s over, the North will be under Bolton’s control.”
A cold weight settled in Jaime’s stomach. “And Robb?”
Kevan did not answer immediately, and that silence spoke volumes.
Jaime exhaled slowly, rubbing his jaw. “Roose means to kill him.”
Kevan’s voice was flat. “He means to win.”
Jaime let out a humorless chuckle, shaking his head. “Of course. And what of the girl? What of Y/N?”
Kevan’s expression remained impassive. “She is to marry you. That was the trade your father made. If you had not taken her from Roose, she would have been his bride, and the Starks would have fallen just the same.”
Jaime’s grip tightened around the goblet, his thoughts racing.
“So, the Young Wolf rides toward his death,” Jaime murmured, staring into his wine. “And there’s nothing he can do to stop it.”
Kevan did not respond, but he didn’t need to. The pieces were already falling into place, and Jaime could see the end of the game clearly now.
His father had already won.
Jaime leaned forward, lowering his voice. “Does she know?”
Kevan sighed. “No. And there is no reason for her to.”
Jaime scoffed, shaking his head. “No reason? You truly think she won’t suspect? She’s not an idiot, Kevan. She knows there’s a plan in motion. She asked me about it on the way here.”
Kevan regarded him carefully. “And what did you tell her?”
Jaime exhaled, running his fingers through his hair. “That I didn’t know. Which, until now, was true.”
Kevan’s gaze was steady. “Then I suggest you keep it that way.”
Jaime stared at his uncle for a long moment before letting out a slow breath. “Right.”
The conversation weighed on him as he finished his wine, his thoughts circling back to you. He had made a promise—to protect your family where he could, to do something to ensure you weren’t completely swallowed by his father’s schemes.
But now, with Robb Stark’s fate all but sealed, Jaime realized he had no idea how to keep that promise.
And that thought unsettled him more than he cared to admit.

Servants bustled about the grand halls, their footsteps soft against the polished marble floors as they prepared for the day ahead. The fortress was awake, its presence as commanding as the lion that adorned its banners.
You stood near one of those great windows, gazing out at the expanse of the Sunset Sea. The waves crashed against the cliffs below, their endless movement soothing in a way the towering walls of Casterly Rock were not. This place was nothing like Winterfell—the air lacked the crispness of the North, the stone lacked the warmth of home. And yet, this was where you were meant to stay.
A soft clearing of the throat made you turn. Lady Dorna Lannister stood before you, her hands clasped in front of her. She was a striking woman, regal in bearing, with bright, intelligent eyes that reminded you she was no mere noblewoman but the wife of Kevan Lannister—a woman well-versed in the expectations of courtly life.
“Lady Y/N,” she greeted, inclining her head slightly. “I trust you rested well.”
You gave her a measured look, your tone neutral. “Well enough.”
She smiled faintly, as if she had expected that response. “Good. We have much to discuss.”
You followed her as she led you through the halls, her pace unhurried but purposeful. “As the future Lady of Casterly Rock, there are certain expectations placed upon you,” she began. “It is my duty to ensure you understand them.”
You resisted the urge to scoff. “I imagine my duties won’t be too different from what was expected of me at Winterfell.”
Lady Dorna arched an elegant brow. “Perhaps, but the Rock is not Winterfell. Here, you must command not just respect, but loyalty. The Lannisters do not rule through kindness alone.”
You glanced around the grand halls, the wealth of the Lannisters evident in every gilded detail. “No,” you murmured. “I imagine they don’t.”
Lady Dorna studied you for a moment before continuing. “You will be expected to oversee the daily running of the keep. The servants, the household, the management of provisions. The mines may be the source of our wealth, but a poorly run household can make even the richest of lords suffer.”
You nodded, though the thought of taking on such responsibilities in a place that still felt foreign to you was daunting.
“There are also matters of decorum,” Lady Dorna added, her tone taking on a sharper edge. “The Lannisters hold themselves to a standard. You will be watched, judged. You must carry yourself as befits the wife of the Warden of the West.”
You met her gaze evenly. “You mean I must behave as Tywin Lannister sees fit.”
A flicker of amusement crossed her features. “You are not wrong.”
Your hands curled into fists at your sides, a flare of defiance sparking in your chest. “I am not some docile creature to be tamed.”
Lady Dorna’s lips curved into something resembling approval. “No, you are not. And that may serve you well. But understand this—strength is not always about fighting. Sometimes, survival is the greatest strength of all.”
You stared at her, uncertain whether she was warning you or advising you.
She gestured for you to follow as she continued walking. “There will also be duties outside the household. The Lannisters command many bannermen, and their loyalty must be maintained. You will be expected to attend councils, to play the role of diplomat when necessary.”
“And if I refuse?” you challenged, your voice quiet but firm.
Lady Dorna stopped and turned to face you fully. “Then you will make enemies of powerful men. And that is not a battle you can win, my lady.”
The weight of her words settled heavily on you. It was not a threat, not exactly. But it was a warning. A reminder that this was not the North. You were no longer a Stark in Winterfell. You were surrounded by Lannisters, by those who saw marriage not as a union but as a transaction, a means to consolidate power.
Lady Dorna watched as you absorbed this, then softened slightly. “It is not all politics,” she said. “You will have time to make your place here. To find those who will stand by you. Even among lions, allies can be found.”
You exhaled slowly, nodding. “And what of Jaime?”
Lady Dorna tilted her head, studying you. “What of him?”
You hesitated, then asked, “What role does he expect me to play?”
A knowing smile tugged at her lips. “That, my dear, is something only he can answer.”
The conversation lingered between you as the great halls stretched on ahead. Casterly Rock was vast, imposing, but it was no longer just the seat of House Lannister—it was your future.
And whether you liked it or not, you had no choice but to face it.
Tumblr media
The evening air in Casterly Rock was crisp, the distant roar of the Sunset Sea crashing against the cliffs below. A few torches burned along the stone balcony where Jaime sat with Bronn, a jug of wine between them. The fortress was quieter now, its halls less imposing under the cover of night, but the weight of what Jaime had learned still pressed heavily on his mind.
Bronn leaned back against the stone railing, taking a long sip from his goblet before exhaling contentedly. “You know, for all the gold stuffed into this place, it’s got a real gloom about it. Doesn’t feel like a home.”
Jaime smirked, swirling his own wine absently. “That’s because it isn’t. Not really.”
Bronn raised a brow. “Not to you, maybe. But you’ll be Lord of the Rock soon enough. Got yourself a fine Stark bride, a title, and all the gold you could ever piss away. Doesn’t sound too bad.”
Jaime scoffed, setting his goblet down. “You think I want this?”
Bronn smirked. “You think I care?”
Jaime let out a slow breath, running his fingers through his hair. His golden hand rested on his knee, heavier than usual. “Tywin’s making his final moves,” he said after a moment, his tone quieter now.
Bronn lifted a brow, intrigued but cautious. “Go on.”
Jaime hesitated before leaning forward slightly, lowering his voice. “Robb Stark is still marching south. My father and Roose Bolton have no intention of letting him reach his goal.”
Bronn frowned. “I thought that whole bloody wedding business was off after you stole the girl from The Leech Lord.”
Jaime’s jaw tightened. “So did I.”
Bronn took another sip of wine, watching Jaime carefully. “And?”
“And it doesn’t matter,” Jaime said bitterly. “My father doesn’t let loose ends slip through his fingers. The Starks were always meant to fall. Roose is in a position to strike, and my father has already ensured that the right doors are open.”
Bronn let out a low whistle. “So, that’s it then? The Young Wolf gets slaughtered, Bolton takes the North, and your old man gets another war wrapped up neatly with a golden bow?”
Jaime’s grip tightened on his goblet. “Something like that.”
Bronn chuckled, shaking his head. “And here I thought you were actually starting to care about the little Stark girl.”
Jaime’s eyes snapped to him, sharp and defensive. “This isn’t about her.”
Bronn smirked, clearly enjoying himself. “No? Because it sure as shit seems like it is. She’s the one who made you start asking questions, isn’t she?”
Jaime exhaled, rubbing his temple. “She asked me about it before we left King’s Landing. She already knew something was being planned. I told her I didn’t know anything.”
“And now you do.”
Jaime nodded slowly, staring into his wine. “Now I do.”
Bronn studied him for a moment before leaning back again. “Well, that’s a problem, isn’t it?”
Jaime scoffed. “You have no idea.”
“Oh, I do,” Bronn said with a grin. “You’re thinking about what happens when she finds out. And she will find out. If she already suspected, then she’ll be watching, listening. And you—” Bronn pointed at him with his goblet, “—you’re in love with your little Stark bride, whether you’ll admit it or not.”
Jaime shot him a glare. “I am not.”
Bronn laughed. “Right, and I’m a bloody septon. Face it, Jaime, you’re torn between keeping your father happy and keeping that girl from gutting you in your sleep.”
Jaime didn’t respond, his jaw tightening.
Bronn sighed, finishing the rest of his wine. “So what’s the plan, then? You gonna stop it? Save the noble Young Wolf and his army? If so, that’s a real piss-poor way to keep Tywin in your good graces.”
Jaime closed his eyes briefly before opening them again. “I don’t know what the plan is. But I do know that I can’t just sit by and do nothing.”
Bronn tilted his head, considering him. “You know what I think?”
Jaime exhaled. “I’m sure you’ll tell me.”
Bronn leaned forward, his grin widening. “I think you’re finally growing a conscience. A bit late, but better than never.”
Jaime scowled but said nothing.
Bronn stretched, yawning as he placed his goblet down. “Well, whatever you decide to do, I expect to be rewarded for all this. Gold is nice, but the stuff I know? The things I hear? That needs to be secured with something bigger.”
Jaime shot him a look. “You want a castle.”
Bronn grinned. “Aye. A nice one. With a good view and a decent bit of land. Maybe even a lady wife, if she’s got the right temperament.”
Jaime chuckled, shaking his head. “You really don’t aim low, do you?”
Bronn smirked, standing and adjusting his belt. “No point in that. You should know—after all, you’re the one aiming for the impossible.”
Jaime sighed, leaning back against his chair as Bronn walked away, his laughter still echoing through the halls.
Jaime sat there long after his companion had gone, the weight of what he had learned settling over him like a cloak. He had always been Tywin Lannister’s son, always followed the course set for him. But now, he wondered if he was capable of choosing a different path.
And if he did—what the cost would be.
Tumblr media
The corridors of Casterly Rock were quiet at this hour. Jaime walked with a measured pace, his mind burdened with the weight of unspoken truths. He had thought about it all evening, running over the words in his mind, trying to find a way to tell you what he had learned about your brother. But every time he came close to forming the words, he saw his father’s face in his mind—stern, commanding, absolute.
And so, instead of turning toward his own chambers, Jaime found himself stopping before yours.
The guards stationed outside glanced at him before stepping aside without question. They had been given their orders—he was to have unrestricted access to you. The thought sat uneasily in his stomach. He wasn’t here to exercise power over you, but to offer something he wasn’t sure you would accept.
He knocked lightly, then opened the door without waiting for a reply.
You were seated by the window, your long hair loose over your shoulders, illuminated by the silver glow of the moonlight. Your eyes flickered toward him, wary but unsurprised.
“What do you want, Lannister?” you asked, your voice quiet but firm.
Jaime smirked faintly, stepping inside and closing the door behind him. “A simple goodnight would suffice.”
You arched an eyebrow. “Is that all?”
He hesitated for the briefest moment before nodding. “And to see if you needed anything.”
Your gaze lingered on him, studying him, weighing the intent behind his words. “That depends,” you said at last, standing from your chair. “Do you actually care? Or is this just another duty expected of you?”
Jaime exhaled slowly, stepping further into the room. “Would you believe me if I said both?”
You turned fully toward him, arms crossing over your chest. “I suppose that’s the best I’ll get from a Lannister.”
Jaime let out a soft chuckle, though there was little humor in it. “I never claimed to be anything else.”
A silence stretched between you, the tension thick, unspoken words hanging heavily in the air. Jaime wanted to tell you, wanted to warn you, but the weight of his family’s legacy pressed against his chest. He couldn’t betray his father—not yet.
So instead, he shifted, grasping for something—anything—to deflect. “Your direwolf,” he said suddenly. “I hear you’ve been complaining about his living arrangements.”
Your eyes narrowed slightly. “I wouldn’t call it complaining. More like voicing my irritation.”
Jaime smirked. “And what exactly is irritating you?”
You sighed, stepping toward the edge of the bed, your fingers brushing against the silk sheets absentmindedly. “He’s being kept in the courtyard like some common dog. He’s not a pet, Lannister. He’s my family.”
Jaime tilted his head, his smirk fading slightly. “You truly see him that way?”
You shot him a sharp look. “Do you not?”
Jaime exhaled, considering your words. “I suppose I’ve never had anything… anyone that loyal before.”
You studied him for a long moment, something flickering in your expression, but you didn’t press. Instead, you looked toward the window. “I just don’t want him caged. Not like me.”
Jaime’s chest tightened at your words, at the quiet vulnerability beneath them. He stepped closer, his voice softer now. “I’ll see what I can do.”
You turned back toward him, surprised by his words, but Jaime only met your gaze steadily.
For the first time since arriving at the Rock, something between you shifted. The unease remained, but it was different now—less about defiance, more about something unspoken, something neither of you could quite name.
Jaime took another step forward, close enough now that he could see the flicker of candlelight reflected in your eyes. His gaze dropped, just briefly, to your lips. He wasn’t sure which one of you moved first, but the space between you vanished, the air growing warmer, heavier.
Then, just as he leaned in, you turned your head at the last moment, your breath brushing against his cheek instead.
“Goodnight, Jaime,” you whispered.
He froze, his heart hammering in his chest.
Slowly, he stepped back, exhaling through his nose. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
With that, he turned and left, the door clicking softly behind him.
As he walked back to his chambers, his mind was a war of conflicting thoughts. He had wanted to tell you the truth, to warn you of what was coming—but instead, he had let the moment slip away, distracted by something he hadn’t expected to want.
Jaime Lannister wasn’t sure what frightened him more now—his father’s wrath or the way his heart had nearly betrayed him in that room.

"Come on, Y/n, we've been working so hard, we deserve a night out." Your group mates begged. It was true, the long nights of practice. The staying up until 3am to perfect the songs. To constant interviews that you just couldn't say no to. Being the leader was tougher than it looked. Looking at the four faces surrounding you, you sighed and nodded your head. "Fine, we can go. But remember, if you get drunk, you sleep in the bathtub." You spoke firmly, looking at each girl. There had been a few times everyone went out to celebrate special moments in your career, and someone always got too drunk that they would get sick.
Everyone decided to go to a nice restaurant in Hongdae. It was nice enough to have even a private area for idols and celebrities so they could also enjoy time out. Talking to your manager, you told him to be on call since the younger members tended to drink more and would need a ride at some point. You also just wanted him to deal with their antics while you got to relax. They did beg you to come out, so why should you have to babysit.
"Who else do you think might be there?" Dae asked. Everyone was currently in the shared dorm bathroom, doing hair and makeup. "Hm, what if we see Taemin, or even Johnny and Mark!" Yunhee shouted. You chuckled at how excited they were of the possible chance of running into their favs at the restaurant. "If you see anyone, you can say hi, but the moment you start getting crazy, you're out." You spoke to the two younger ones. They immediately started pouting. You understood how excited they were, but with being the leader, you had to keep your group in check and make sure they acted right for the groups image.
"Well, it's Saturday night, Hongdae will be filled with other idols, so I have hope!" Dae spoke with a smirk. You rolled your eyes, continuing on your hair. Your makeup was more natural looking instead of super bold. Maybe for a club you would do more bolder, but for a relaxing night, you just wanted something simple. You gave yourself loose curls and picked a long sleeve, short black dress with an open back. A little modest but little risky, just your style.
Taking a last look in the mirror, you smiled at the sight. You felt pretty, comfortable, and confident. The diamond set of earrings, necklace, and bracelet decorated your body. "Oh, someone looks like she's trying to find a man tonight." Venus spoke with a smirk as she peaked into the bathroom. You immediately shook your head and smiled at her. "Even if i did want a man, I don't think he's ready for four kids." You teased, causing her to laugh. You grabbed your bag and followed her out of the dorm. Your manager had a black SUV waiting for the five of you at the front.
The car ride was filled with the girls talking about the night out and how excited they were. You, however, scrolled through your phone, looking at Instagram. Despite the idea that Idols should only follow their company and members, you followed other idols and different celebrities. You just found it boring seeing only the few posts your members would make. You wanted to watch other idols' lives.
"We are here. Now, rules." Your manager spoke as he turned around to face everyone in the back seat. "No crazy stunts, stay together, if you feel unsafe at any moment, call me. And for the love of everything.. stay out of paparazzi's way.. we don't need a scandal just as your careers are starting to take off." He explained, rubbing his head as he was stressed. All making a promise to be good, you all stepped out of the SUV.
The restaurant had a special entrance in the back alleyway for idols and celebrities, away from fans and photographers. As your group walked in, yall were greeted by the private dining manager who showed your group to your table. "Ladies, take a look at our menu and your server will be with you shortly."
Looking through the menu, everyone was conflicted on what to order. "The wagyu sounds great." Yunhee spoke, continuing to look. "I might actually just do the Rosemary chicken, I heard it was pretty popular from reviews." Joli spoke. You, yourself was conflicted. Everything sounded delicious.
"Good evening, ladies." The waitress greeted as she sat glasses of ice water in front of each of you. "My name is Sohee, I'll be serving you tonight. Can I start you off with any drinks?" She asked as she took out her notepad to write everything down. Everyone ordered a little cocktail as well as appetizers to share.
So far the evening was going well, and the appetizers were amazing. When it came to ordering your entree, you were still indecisive. You asked to go last. But it was only a minute or two until she was back to you. "Uh.." you were still trying to decide. "I would recommend the 'Marry Me Chicken', it's very good." You heard a male voice behind you. Turning around, you were starstruck seeing Chan. He was someone you looked up to during your trainee days. You were always watching his lives when you had time and listening to their music. "O-oh, then yes, I'll try that." You responded. The waitress nodded and stepped away to put in your orders and get everyone another round of cocktails.
"Let me know what you think after you try it." Chan spoke, only earning a nod from you. You were flustered and shy, the girls of your group immediately teasing you. Chan smiled as he walked over to their table, the whole group waiting for his arrival. "At least one of us got to see our fav." Joli smirked, your cheeks heating up from the embarrassment.
Dinner was going well, the food was actually very good. The drinks were fantastic. It was more of an evening than you could have asked for. "Well, I told manager that I was going out tonight so. You girls in?" Venus asked as she stood up after collecting the card the company gave them to use for tonight. The rest of the girls agreed to clubbing, but you decided to skip out.
As the girls left, you got up from the table and walked to the bar the restaurant had. You sat on the stool and looked at the options. You didn't drink much during dinner so you thought about making up for it by staying a drinking a bit more. "Can I get a mojito?" You asked, the bartender nodded and started on your drink.
"So, how was the chicken?" You heard a voice behind you. You turned to see Chan taking the stool next to you. "Oh, it was absolutely delicious. Thank you." The bartender sat down your drink and you immediately took a sip. "I never formally introduced myself, I'm Chan." He held out his hand. You immediately took it and gave a small shake, "Y/n. I'm actually a big fan." You responded. You could see Chan's face turn red as he smiled softly. "Oh really? I could say the same thing. I like your recent comeback a lot. You guys have grown so much since your debut, you're doing amazing." The compliment took you back. He liked your music? He was a fan? "Well thank you, I appreciate it. Hearing it from you, definitely makes me feel like we're going in a great direction."
You and Chan spent about an hour talking and drinking. Both your groups had vanished and the two of you were left alone. Somewhere during the chat, the two of you started taking shots. And with you being not a casual drinker, you felt the effects of the alcohol fast. Even Chan was slurring a few words as he spoke.
"I'm sorry, guy, but I'm not going to be able to serve you two anymore." The bartender informed you two. You and Chan instantly frowned and started collecting your things. Chan ended up paying for all the drinks as you were taking out your card, making you glare at him. "Christopher, Nooo~" You whined. Chan only laughed and signed the receipt. "Come on." He laughed as he led you out the back door through the special entrance.
"I wish we could have drank more. I was enjoying your company." You pouted, crossing your arms over your chest. An idea popped into Chan's head. "We can go to my dorm! We have lots of soju and a few hard liquors that Hyunjin won't mind us borrowing." He offered. You didn't think it was a good idea, your manager warned you about being caught for any scandals. But the alcohol taking over your body said, a few drinks wouldn't hurt.
Well, what was supposed to be a few drinks ended up with your body pressed to the wall and Chan's lips devouring your neck. Moans filled the room as he found your sweet spot. The sound only made the devil in Chan come out, marking the spot in the deepest shade of purple he could. The bulge in his pants pressed against your thigh, his own moans flowing as your thigh rubbed against his hard on.
Chan realized the game you were playing and pulled away. He glanced your body up and down, biting his lip. He needed you. Chan picked your body up and threw you onto his bed before towering over you. His lips back onto your neck before trailing down to your chest. You felt him going further down until his head was between your legs, face to face with your clothed core. The wet patch on the fabric had his cock pulsing in the confinement of his pants.
Sliding your panties down your legs, he threw them aside, now lost somewhere in his room. He immediately started eating you out. His tongue moving through your folds to collect every drip of your juices. Your taste was addicting to him. Without thinking, you immediately started grinding your core into his face, wanting more of him. "F-fuck~" You moaned, your fingers finding their way into his hair. Chan tongue teased your clit, making your back arch from the feeling. Not having an orgasm in quite a while, you were already close. Chan knew you were close once your thighs tightened around his head. He wanted to make you wait, but he was enjoying your taste more than he thought. Within seconds, you cumming on his face to which you only recieved a groan. Chan pulled away from your core, your slick covering his lips.
Reaching up, you pulled Chan down with all your might, "please fuck me." You begged, you needed more. You wanted more of him. Chan enjoyed seeing you beg for his cock. It boosted his ego. Sitting up, Chan removed his clothes as well as yours, throwing them in the room to be lost like your panties were.
His cock was bigger than you thought. And definitely bigger than the last men you were with. He spit into his hand and stroked his cock, looking down at your wet core that was aching for him. "Are you sure you want to go this far?" He asked. You only nodded and spread your legs wider. Chan chuckled and aligned himself with your entrance, slowly pushing his cock into you. A loud moan flowed from your lips as he filled you up. Fuck, he was big. Even your secret toys weren't this big.
Slowly, Chan started moving his hips against yours, wanting you to get use to the feeling before he picked up his pace. It only took one moan for him to lose himself. His hip were slamming against yours, the feeling almost immediately making him cum. You felt very different from his hand which is all he had lately due to being so busy and not really having someone in general to fuck. His hands held your hips up at an angle, fucking you deeper than before. The tip of his cock beating against your g-spot was pushing you over the edge. But even if you came, Chan wasn't stopping until he was pleased with how much cum he filled you with. Leaning down, Chan took one of your nipples in his mouth. Sucking and tugging on the sensitive bud. Your voice would be hoarse tomorrow from all the lewd sounds your were screaming out. Chan made sure your nipple was swollen and puffy before switching to the other. Your back arched from the pleasure and you could tell you were about to cum. "C-chan-" You tried to speak but we're just interrupted by your moans.
Chan ignored you, wanting to feel you cover his dick with your juices. All it took was for his thumb to tease your clit as he fucked you that gave you one of the most intense orgasms you've had in a very long time. Chan pulled away with a smirk. The man above you was different. His eyes were darker, his voice deeper. "I'm not finished with you." Sitting up, Chan removed his member from your core and moved off the bed, standing at the edge. He held your hips, growling as he pulled you towards him. Lifting one leg your rest up against his torso, he aligned his member back at your entrance, teasing with his tip. Chan laughed as he saw you whimpering everytime his tip passed your hole.
Once he was sure you weren't expecting it, he shove his cock into you, immediately rolling his against yours. The bed now banging against the wall with how hard he was fucking you. You really hope Hyunjin didn't come home because you would be so embarrassed having to leave and him seeing you in a messy state.
Chan's fingers began playing with your clit, your body shaking again with the amount of pleasure. You would have to remind yourself to tell him how it was the best sex you've had. You were but off when you felt a hand wrap around your throat. Looking up, Chan was staring down deep into your eyes. "Look at me. I want to see that look in your eyes when I make you cum." He growled lowly. Being the shy person you were, it was absolutely little hard to have a stare down with a man, let alone a gorgeous man. But everytime you looked away, Chan forced your eyes back on him. His fingers would tighten around your neck everytime you tried to look away as a warning.
Chan knew you were close as he felt your core constricting against his cock. It was pushing him to the edge just as much as the clit teasing was pushing you. The moment Chan saw you were on the edge, he slammed his cock up against your g-spot, mentally wishing he could leave a bruise. Almost as if he was claiming you in and out. Your body convulse with the orgasm, your eyes focusing on Chan's before rolling back. Chan released his load right into you, filling you up. You watch as his dark eyes started to lighten from his orgasm.
The only sound in the room was your two heavy breathings. You two just laid there for a moment, your eyes on each other's but it was more soft than lustful. Pressing a small kiss to your forehead, Chan pulled out, watching his load drip from your swollen pussy.
Leaning down, he locked the dripping cum up from your slit and smirked. Your mind was in a date. What the fuck just happened. You sat up and looked around, biting your lip. You were pulled from your thoughts when you saw blue fabric in front of your face. "Here, you can put this on." Chan spoke, handing you one of his oversized shirts. Quickly you slipped it on as you felt shy. He also gave you pajama pants to borrow as he also changed.
You were expecting him to kick you out, but when he laid down and pulled you into his arms, his hand rubbing your tummy, you got confused. Chan didn't say a word, he just continued to hold you before wrapping the bed covers over your bodies.
The next morning you woke up, an arm wrapped around you tightly. All the flashbacks coming back from the night before. You slowly turned around to see the male already staring at you. "G'morning." He spoke. His voice hoarse from sleep. You went to speak but your voice was almost non-existent. Chan chuckled and kissed the side of your head.
You and Chan laid there for a few hours before deciding to get up. You knew you needed to get back to your dorm, considering all the calls and text you missed on your phone. You texted your manager where to pick you up. "Uh, thanks for the...fun night?" You questioned, not really knowing what to call it. "Oh, no. Thank you. It was..very fucking good." He replied, causing you to laugh. As you got to the door of his dorm, you got awkward and didn't know what to say. So Chan took the leader. "Would you like to go to dinner sometime? Like just us? We don't have to do all..what we did last night of course. I just really enjoyed us talking at the restaurant last night." Thinking over his words, you nodded and handed him your phone. He put in his number and handed it back. "I'll text you." You spoke before leaving the dorm.
It was the walk of shame to your managers car. "You have to be kidding me.." He groaned as he started driving you back to your dorm. "At least we take birth control." You mumbled.
As Chan made his way back to his room, Hyunjin looked at him and rolled his eyes. "You could at least let me know not to come home. For fuck sakes, dude, you two sounded like actual fucking animals in heat." Hyunjin shouted as he went back to his room, slamming the door. Chan only laughed and walked into his own room, waiting for your text.

Ahhh so many thoughts so I'm gonna utilize the read more function
“Oh, absolutely,” Bradley replied, his voice laced with mock encouragement. “She’s single. And you’re you, right? What could possibly go wrong?” He tipped his glass, hiding the grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. Jake chuckled, straightening his shoulders and adjusting his stance like he was walking into battle. “You’re not wrong, Rooster. I’m irresistible.” He set his beer on the counter and took a deep breath, the picture of confidence. “Wish me luck.” Bradley raised his glass in a silent toast. “Oh, you’re gonna need it,” he muttered under his breath, watching as Jake strode across the bar like a man on a mission.
Ahahah not Bradley trying to get Jake into hot water on purpose 😅
Maverick smirked, clearly enjoying the show, but didn’t say a word. Penny raised an eyebrow at Maverick, who simply shrugged, leaving you to handle the situation.
Everyone is just enjoying the show 🤭
Before Jake could respond, Maverick spoke up, his voice casual but carrying just enough weight to make Jake pause. “Hangman, you do know who her father is, right?” Jake’s grin didn’t falter—much. “No,” he said confidently. “Should I?”
If Maverick ask like that, you probably should 😅
“Dead serious.” Jake started toward you again, then stopped to look back at Bradley, his smirk now full-blown. Bradley shook his head, half in disbelief and half in amusement. “This is going to end so badly, and I can’t wait to see it.”
Bradley is ready to get the popcorn 😂
“Not even a little,” you shot back, though the corner of your mouth twitched like you were fighting a smile. Jake chuckled, undeterred. “Good. Wouldn’t be worth it if it were easy.”
He likes a challenge
You finally looked at him, your eyes narrowing. “If you already knew that, why are you still here?” Jake shrugged, his gaze unwavering. “Because you’re gorgeous, and I don’t scare off that easily. Besides,” he added with a wink, “I like a good challenge.”
Called it 🤭
Jake picked up his beer, taking a long sip. “She’s just playing hard to get.” Bradley snorted. “She’s not playing, man. She’s actually hard to get.”
Haha Bradley (trying) to get Jake back on the ground is just hilarious 😂
Jake glanced over his shoulder at you, catching the way you smiled at something Maverick said. A genuine, soft smile, not the guarded one you’d given him. His smirk softened just a fraction as he turned back to Bradley.
👀
You tilted your head, studying him. “Distract me, huh? And what makes you think you’re qualified for the job?” Jake smirked, leaning forward slightly. “Because, darlin’, distraction is what I do best."
I love their bickering 🤭
“My name’s not sweetheart. And why should I?” you shot back, arching an eyebrow. “You seem to like the chase.” Jake chuckled, holding your gaze. “Maybe I do. But it’s not just the chase that’s got me sticking around.” You blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. For a moment, you didn’t know how to respond.
Their back and forth is just such a good match, that either of them being caught off guard is even more confusing 🤭
You sighed, glancing down at your drink. “He’s…persistent.” “That he is,” Penny agreed, leaning against the bar. “But he’s also not as one-dimensional as he might seem.” You raised an eyebrow. “Meaning what? That he’s not just some cocky pilot who thinks he’s God’s gift to women? Cause that’s what everyone around here is saying.” Penny chuckled. “Oh, he’s definitely cocky. But there’s more to him. He’s loyal, sharp as a tack, and surprisingly thoughtful when he wants to be.”
Penny being an advocate for Jake? I didn't see that coming
You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped you. “Okay, Jake. You’ve got my attention. Now what?” His grin softened into something more genuine. “Now I get to know you.”
Why is that so cute?! 🥰
He paused for a moment, as if considering his options. Then he asked, “What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t gotten the chance to yet?” The question caught you off guard. It wasn’t what you’d expected—not some flirty remark or shallow small talk, but an actual question. Thoughtful. Genuine.
Me, taking notes for my next date 📝
You rolled your eyes, but there was no real heat behind it. “You were doing so well. Why ruin it?” He laughed, leaning back in his chair. “Just being honest.”
Urgh who knew Jake had it in him 🥰
I absolutely loved this! 👏🏻😍 Please tag me, if you ever decide to write a part 2 🫶🏻

Pairing: Jake "Hangman" Seresin x AFAB Reader
Summary: At The Hard Deck Jake Seresin spots a stunning woman who he has no business getting involved with. But he doesn’t know that yet. When he figures out her father is an admiral, his interest only deepens. But she’s not as easily impressed as Jake may have hoped. Will he win her over? Or will the chase be more than he bargained for?
Warnings: I don't think there are any :)

Also tagging @djs8891 @khouse712 @withahappyrefrain @86laura11 because it seemed like you may have been interested based on the Ask on McKenzie's page! (If you'd like to not be tagged just let me know!)
The Hard Deck was filled with its usual noise, a mix of laughter, clinking glasses, and the soft background music coming from the jukebox. Jake Seresin leaned against the far back wall, beer in hand, casually scanning the room figuring out who he wanted to spend his evening talking to.
His gaze stopped when he caught sight of a woman talking to Maverick and Penny near the corner of the bar. She was laughing, her smile lighting up the space, and Jake’s interest was instantly piqued.
“Hey, Bradshaw,” Jake nudged Bradley. “Who’s that?” He tilted his head toward the girl.
Bradley glanced over his shoulder, following Jake’s line of sight. When he spotted you, a knowing grin spread across his face. “Oh, her?” he said, his voice carefully casual.
“Yeah, her.” Jake’s tone was dripping with curiosity—and something more. “She’s gorgeous. You know her?”
Bradley turned fully toward Jake now, feigning thoughtfulness. “Actually, I do. She’s real sweet.” He paused for effect, letting the words sink in before adding with just enough sincerity to be dangerous, “I think you should go talk to her.”
Jake raised an eyebrow, clearly weighing the risks. “You serious?”
“Wish me luck.”
Bradley raised his glass in a silent toast. “Oh, you’re gonna need it,” he muttered under his breath, watching as Jake strode across the bar like a man on a mission.
As Jake approached, you looked up and met his eyes, your smile widening slightly. Maverick and Penny exchanged a glance, their conversation stalling as they noticed the incoming pilot.
“Hey,” Jake started, his southern drawl turned up to full charm mode. “I don’t mean to interrupt, but I couldn’t help noticing you from across the room. I’m Jake.”
Maverick smirked, clearly enjoying the show, but didn’t say a word. Penny raised an eyebrow at Maverick, who simply shrugged, leaving you to handle the situation.
“Nice to meet you, Jake,” you replied, your tone friendly but guarded.
Before Jake could respond, Maverick spoke up, his voice casual but carrying just enough weight to make Jake pause. “Hangman, you do know who her father is, right?”
Jake’s grin didn’t falter—much. “No,” he said confidently. “Should I?”
“Probably,” Maverick replied, leaning back with a smirk, “he’s sitting over there.”
Jake’s head snapped to the other side of the bar, where Cyclone was seated, his gaze locked on Jake like a hawk sizing up prey.
Jake turned back to you, his confidence shaken but not broken. “You know,” he said with a sheepish laugh, “I think I might’ve left my beer at the pool table. Don’t go anywhere, though.”
Back at the pool table, Bradley was doubled over, laughing so hard he could barely breathe. Jake smacked him on the shoulder, muttering, “You’re a real piece of work, Rooster.”
“Worth it,” Bradley managed between laughs. "You retreating already, Bagman?” Bradley teased, his grin wide and smug.
Jake grabbed his beer and took a long sip before setting it down with exaggerated nonchalance. He leaned casually against the pool table, a smirk playing at his lips.
“Retreat?” Jake scoffed, turning his head to glance back in your direction. “Nah, Rooster. I’m just regrouping.”
Bradley’s eyebrows shot up. “Oh yeah? And what exactly is the plan now?”
Jake’s smirk widened into something almost wicked as he turned back towards the bar, fixing his collar and brushing his fingers through his hair. “Simple,” he said, his drawl thick and smooth. “I’m going to get her number.”
Bradley barked out a laugh, nearly spilling his drink. “You’re serious?”
“Dead serious.” Jake started toward you again, then stopped to look back at Bradley, his smirk now full-blown.
Bradley shook his head, half in disbelief and half in amusement. “This is going to end so badly, and I can’t wait to see it.”
You noticed Jake approaching again and sighed inwardly, though a small smirk tugged at your lips. He was persistent, you’d give him that. You had half expected him to give up once he realized who your dad was. You thought the line about forgetting his drink was him tucking his tail between his legs.
You glanced over at your dad who was still seated on the other side of the bar, his gaze heavy as he followed Jake’s movements back towards you.
“Back already?” you asked, raising an eyebrow as he stopped in front of you.
Jake leaned casually on the bar, his smirk as charming as ever. “Couldn’t stay away,” he said smoothly. “Hard to ignore someone as beautiful as you.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t entirely suppress the faint blush that you knew was on your cheeks. “Is this your usual routine? Flash a smile, throw out some compliments, and hope for the best?”
“Depends,” Jake said, his grin widening. “Is it working?”
“Not even a little,” you shot back, though the corner of your mouth twitched like you were fighting a smile.
Jake chuckled, undeterred. “Good. Wouldn’t be worth it if it were easy.”
You turned your head back toward Maverick and Penny, clearly dismissing him. If he was just looking for a quick lay for the night he could find it with someone else.
But instead of walking away, Jake stayed put, leaning against the bar like he had all the time in the world.
“Still here? Let me guess,” you said without looking at him. “You’re one of those pilots, aren’t you?”
Jake’s grin only grew. “Guilty as charged. And you? Let me guess…Cyclone’s daughter?”
You finally looked at him, your eyes narrowing. “If you already knew that, why are you still here?”
Jake shrugged, his gaze unwavering. “Because you’re gorgeous, and I don’t scare off that easily. Besides,” he added with a wink, “I like a good challenge.”
“Good luck with that,” you said, turning your back on him completely.
Jake laughed softly to himself, taking the hint—for now. He walked back to the back of the bar where the pool tables were and stopped beside Bradley, who was watching the whole exchange with poorly hidden amusement.
“She shut you down, didn’t she?” Bradley asked, grinning.
Jake picked up his beer, taking a long sip. “She’s just playing hard to get.”
Bradley snorted. “She’s not playing, man. She’s actually hard to get.”
Jake glanced over his shoulder at you, catching the way you smiled at something Maverick said. A genuine, soft smile, not the guarded one you’d given him. His smirk softened just a fraction as he turned back to Bradley.
“Even better,” Jake said, leaning against the bar. “That just means she’s worth it.”
Bradley raised an eyebrow, surprised by the sincerity in Jake’s tone. “You’re really not giving up, huh?”
Jake’s smirk returned, but there was a glint of something more genuine in his eyes. “Not a chance.”
A few weeks later The Hard Deck was once again buzzing. It was Friday night, and the sound of voices and clinking glasses filled the air. Jake was nursing a beer at the bar, laughing at one of Coyote’s bad jokes, when his eyes landed on you.
You were seated at a small table outside near the edge of the patio, absently twirling a straw in your drink as you stared out at the ocean. This time, you weren’t surrounded by Maverick, Penny…or your father thankfully.
“Hangman,” Coyote said, nudging him. “You listening?”
Jake didn’t even glance his way. “Yeah, yeah,” he muttered, already rising to his feet.
Coyote followed his line of sight and smirked. “Oh, this should be good. You really going to try this again? You know who her dad is right?”
Jake didn’t respond, just shot him a wink before making his way toward you.
You noticed him approaching out of the corner of your eye and sighed. Of course, he was coming over. It wasn’t like you hadn’t expected it, but you’d hoped he might take the hint after the last time that you weren’t interested.
“Evening,” Jake said smoothly, sliding into the seat across from you without waiting for an invitation.
You raised an eyebrow, leaning back in your chair. “What are you doing?”
“Just keeping you company,” he said, flashing that infuriatingly perfect grin.
You gave him a flat look. “Who said I wanted company?”
“Call it a hunch,” Jake replied, unfazed. “You looked like you could use someone to talk to. Or, you know, someone to distract you.”
You tilted your head, studying him. “Distract me, huh? And what makes you think you’re qualified for the job?”
Jake smirked, leaning forward slightly. “Because, darlin’, distraction is what I do best.”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t entirely hide the amusement that flickered across your face. “You’re persistent, I’ll give you that.”
“Gotta be with someone like you,” Jake said, his tone softer now. “You’re not exactly making it easy for me sweetheart, are you?”
“My name’s not sweetheart. And why should I?” you shot back, arching an eyebrow. “You seem to like the chase.”
Jake chuckled, holding your gaze. “Maybe I do. But it’s not just the chase that’s got me sticking around.”
You blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. For a moment, you didn’t know how to respond.
“Well,” you said finally, reaching for your drink, “if you’re expecting someone to go home with you, I’m not her. There’s a cute blonde at the bar in the pink dress that might be interested though.”
Jake grinned, leaning back in his chair. “Who said I was looking for someone to go home with me?”
He stood, giving you a quick two-finger salute before heading back to the bar. You watched him go, shaking your head.
For the first time, you found yourself wondering if maybe—just maybe—there was more to Jake Seresin than his charm and good looks.
The ocean breeze lost its appeal as the night wore on, and you found yourself wandering back inside The Hard Deck, craving the warmth and the noise of the bar. You sidled up to the counter, setting your empty glass down with a soft clink.
Penny caught your eye from behind the bar and made her way over with her usual easy smile. “Refill?”
You nodded. “Just a soda, thanks.”
She grabbed the glass and began filling it, her movements practiced and smooth. As you waited, your gaze drifted across the room—right to Jake Seresin, who was leaning casually against the far end of the bar, laughing at something Coyote had said.
You quickly looked away, but not before Penny caught the direction of your stare.
“So,” she began, sliding the refilled glass back to you, “what do you think of him?”
You blinked, playing innocent. “Of who?”
Penny’s lips curved into a knowing smile as she wiped down the counter. “Jake’s been orbiting you all night.”
You sighed, glancing down at your drink. “He’s…persistent.”
“That he is,” Penny agreed, leaning against the bar. “But he’s also not as one-dimensional as he might seem.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Meaning what? That he’s not just some cocky pilot who thinks he’s God’s gift to women? Cause that’s what everyone around here is saying.”
Penny chuckled. “Oh, he’s definitely cocky. But there’s more to him. He’s loyal, sharp as a tack, and surprisingly thoughtful when he wants to be.”
You scoffed lightly, though the words lingered in your mind. “Thoughtful, huh? Doesn’t seem like the type.”
Penny tilted her head, studying you with an amused glint in her eyes. “Maybe you haven’t given him the chance to show you that side of him.”
You sighed again, fiddling with your straw. “To answer your question, he’s…fine, I guess.”
“Just fine?” Penny teased, arching an eyebrow. “You were staring pretty hard for ‘just fine.’”
Your cheeks flushed, and you quickly took a sip of your soda to hide your embarrassment. “I wasn’t staring.”
“Of course not,” Penny said, her tone light and teasing. “But if you were, I’d say maybe it’s worth it to give him a chance.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t suppress the small smile tugging at your lips. “We’ll see.”
Penny winked at you before moving on to another customer, leaving you to your thoughts.
From the corner of your eye, you caught Jake glancing in your direction, his grin widening when your eyes met. You quickly looked away, cursing the heat rising to your cheeks.
As much as you hated to admit it, Penny’s words stuck with you. Maybe there was more to Jake Seresin.
Or maybe you just weren’t ready to find out yet.
You were halfway through your soda when you glanced over again, catching Jake in the middle of another laugh with Coyote. He leaned back against the bar, looking so relaxed and self-assured that it almost annoyed you. Almost.
When his gaze shifted, locking onto yours, your stomach flipped. His grin stretched wider as if he could see right through you. You quickly looked down, pretending to focus on the melting ice in your glass.
Moments later, you caught movement out of the corner of your eye.
“Need a refill?” Jake’s voice drawled, smooth as ever.
You looked up to find him standing beside you, one hand resting casually on the bar. His emerald-green eyes sparkled with mischief, but there was something else there too—something that wasn’t as easy to dismiss.
Your first instinct was to brush him off again, but Penny’s earlier words echoed in your mind. Maybe you hadn’t given him a chance. Maybe you should.
“Sure,” you said finally, surprising even yourself. You pushed the empty glass toward him. “Knock yourself out.”
Jake blinked, momentarily caught off guard by your agreement. Then his grin returned, slow and satisfied, like he’d just won a small victory.
“Coming right up,” he said, grabbing your glass and heading back to the bar.
When he returned, he set the drink in front of you with a little flourish. “One soda. Extra ice, just how you like it.”
You raised an eyebrow. “And how would you know how I like it?”
He shrugged, leaning against the edge of the table. “Lucky guess…or I may have had some help from Penny.”
You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped you. “Okay, Jake. You’ve got my attention. Now what?”
His grin softened into something more genuine. “Now I get to know you.”
You tilted your head, intrigued despite yourself. “And how do you plan to do that?”
Jake pulled out the chair across from you and sat down, his movements unhurried. “By asking you questions,” he said simply. “And, if I’m lucky, you might actually answer them.”
You sipped your drink, studying him. “Fine. Go ahead. Ask away.”
He paused for a moment, as if considering his options. Then he asked, “What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t gotten the chance to yet?”
The question caught you off guard. It wasn’t what you’d expected—not some flirty remark or shallow small talk, but an actual question. Thoughtful. Genuine.
You hesitated, then shrugged. “I don’t know. Travel, I guess. There’s a lot of the world I haven’t seen yet.”
Jake nodded, his gaze never leaving yours. “Any place in particular?”
“Greece,” you said, the word slipping out before you could stop it. “I’ve always wanted to see the islands. The history, the views… It just seems like it’d be beautiful.”
“It is,” Jake said, surprising you again.
“You’ve been?”
“Once,” he admitted. “A couple of years ago. Only for a few days, but it was incredible. The water’s so blue it doesn’t even seem real.”
For the first time, you found yourself genuinely curious about him. “What were you doing there?”
“Just passing through on leave,” he said with a shrug. “But I’d go back in a heartbeat. Maybe next time I’ll stay longer.”
You cleared your throat, glancing down at your drink. “Okay, your turn. What’s something you haven’t done yet?”
Jake smiled, the corners of his eyes crinkling. “Convince you to let me take you on a date.”
You rolled your eyes, but there was no real heat behind it. “You were doing so well. Why ruin it?”
He laughed, leaning back in his chair. “Just being honest.”
For the first time, you found yourself smiling back. Maybe Penny had been right. Maybe there was more to Jake Seresin than you’d thought.
Note: This is my first time writing any fanfiction that's more than a paragraph or two. And is also my first time sharing or posting what I wrote so I would love to know what you guys think!
I am also considering maybe writing a second part of this that shows you finally giving Jake a chance if there's interest??

“I might try this one on too.”
Jay smiled, gesturing for you to let him hold the jeans.
His first pay check had just arrived and your boyfriend had surprised you with a trip to the mall and a nice lunch.
You felt like you’d already splurged enough on the delicious affogato at the cafe but Jay had insisted that you both treat yourselves to some new clothes. And you desperately wanted a new pair of jeans.
“Jay, I swear, it’s impossible to find one that fits exactly the way I want.” You had about four different styles of denim pants hung over one arm as you sifted through the hangers for more options.
Jay was designated with the task to keep track of which jeans seemed closest to your desired style.
You had your back turned to him but you could still hear your boyfriend sigh a little, leaning against the wall as you continued your hunt.
“Love,” he called out, “how about you start trying some of these and see if we can eliminate some options.”
You waved a hand as a gesture for him to wait a second. “I just need one more!”
Jay scoffed a laugh, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Sure. Sure. Whatever you say.”
“Mhm.”
more under cut !!
After staying silent for a few moments, Jay cleared his throat. “If these jeans fit anything like the ones you’re wearing right now, then I guess it’ll be worth it.”
You gasped, flicking your head to the side, “Park Jongseong!”
Heart racing at the sound of his laughter, you turned away hastily to grab the last pair of jeans in your size before rushing off to the trials rooms.
“Goddamn, slow down.” Jay followed behind you, his long strides helping him catch up in no time.
A smirk creeped onto your face and you shook your head involuntarily at the way Jay pulled you closer by your waist, walking in tandem as you reached the last stall.
“Here.” He handed you the pile you considered ‘Pile 1’ aka the jeans that you were hoping and praying would fit you because they looked perfect. He proceeded to take ‘Pile 2’ off your hands. “Gimme those, and I’ll be right here if you need me.”
You leaned up and kissed his cheek. “Thanks baby,” you whispered, before sliding the curtain shut.
Out of the four jeans you’d brought into the trail room, three fit you quite nicely, but one in particular, was perfect. So much so that you couldn’t help but poke your head out (followed by a quick laugh at Jay’s startled expression) before asking him to come inside.
“So, what do you think?”
Jay dropped the jeans he was holding onto the trail room seat, his eyebrows furrowed as he concentrated between you and your reflection in the mirror.
You turned a couple times to glance at yourself, extremely satisfied with the way they fit.
“You look great,” Jay smiled, his eyes closing slightly into half mooned crescents. “You definitely need to get these.”
You brushed your hair back, sighing from the relief of finally finding a new pair of jeans and not having to wear the same two pieces you had for years. “How much is it?” You asked aloud, turning back to let Jay check the tag.
You watched his face as the sound of cardboard brushing against his fingertips filled the small room. His expression was pretty unmoving, a simple jut of his lower lip followed by a nod.
“It’s good, totally fits the budget.”
You frowned, “Okay… What is it, though?”
“Uh…”
You twisted around to check the tag yourself before feeling your jaw drop. “What?”
Jay stepped forward, his hands enveloping yours, making you let go of the price tag as he turned you back around to face your guys’ reflection. “Don’t worry about it.”
You blinked at his nonchalance, “Jay, it’s not within our budget, it is our budget.”
“You know I can afford it,” he reasoned.
“That’s not the point!”
“Love-”
You look away from the mirror, facing your boyfriend and resting your hands against his chest. “Jay, this is your first proper pay check, this isn’t an internship anymore, you deserve this money.”
“I know that.” Jay leaned a little closer, “But I want to spend it on you.”
You pursed your lips. On the one hand, you really wanted these jeans, but agreeing to spend that much money on them — regardless of the fact that quality denim is an investment — it wasn’t fair to Jay and therefore, went against everything that you stood for.
“I’m not doing it,” you muttered, shaking your head. “I don’t need these. I want them, but I can — no, I will find a more affordable price.”
Jay opened his mouth to interject, only to be silence by your soft palm against his lips.
Your voice was just a whisper, “I don’t want you to convince me. You already give me so much, Jay. We can buy me some nice jeans another time, just enjoy the money you earned for yourself, please.”
Jay’s eyes darted back and forth between yours, you could feel the gentle smile of his lips against your palm before you removed it.
“Come here,” he murmured, pulling you closer and kissing you tenderly. “I’m not exactly happy with this,” his words came out muffled between your kisses, “But just know that I will be spoiling you soon.”
“How about you let me pick out some clothes for you and we’ll call it even?” You slid your arms around his neck.
Jay smirked. “That’s not even in any way.”
“You’ll get a hot new outfit.”
“Tempting.” He leaned forward, nudging your noses together.

Sweat, Love, Awkward Timing
Tumblr media
Plot: you and beckman are in a relationship for a few weeks now and the heat of the day isn’t the only thing that's making you sweat. Unfortunately shanks has a bad timing and loves sharing his "discoveries"
A/N: sorry for the abrupt ending, not proofread, oh and i know he's not wearing buttoned shirts but in this story he is because i say so
Warnings: nsfw, sex though it's more implied, sexual tension, embarrassed reader, use of y/n, MDNI
Characters: Beckman x F!Reader, Shanks
It was a hot day as you stood on the deck of the Red Force. Looking around you saw Beckman sitting on the deck newspaper in hand and walked over to him and without a warning sat in his lap straddling and facing him.
Beckman didn't react immediately, his gaze still focused on the newspaper as you settled yourself in his lap. You could feel his body beneath you, solid and steady. Your fingers began to undo the buttons of his shirt, the fabric parting with each motion as you tried to maintain an air of casualness.
Inside, though, you were eager to see him, to admire the muscles you knew were hidden beneath the fabric. The heat of the day was a convenient excuse, but in reality, you wanted more than just to help him cool off.
When the last button came undone and his shirt opened, you let your hands linger on his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin. Beckman finally placed the newspaper down and glanced down at you, the corners of his mouth lifting in a slight smirk. His eyes held something sharp and amused, but there was also a hint of possessiveness beneath the surface.
"You know, you could've just asked," he murmured, his voice low and steady.
He let his hands rest on your hips, not moving them, just enough to remind you that he was very aware of your proximity. You met his gaze, your fingers still tracing the lines of his chest, your touch deliberate but teasing.
"Where's the fun in asking?" you replied with a sly grin, your voice dripping with playful challenge. "It’s too hot out here anyway, might as well help you cool off."
He chuckled, his hand sliding up to the back of your neck, pulling you in just a little closer.
"Always pushing boundaries, huh?" he murmured, his lips brushing against your ear before he pulled back slightly, his gaze growing more intense. "You’re not exactly subtle, you know."
His eyes roamed over you for a moment, and you could see the familiar spark of desire flicker in them.
With a slow, deliberate movement, Beckman's hands on your waist tightened just a bit, holding you securely in place.
"Careful," he warned, voice barely above a whisper, "if you keep this up, it won’t just be the weather that’s heating things up."
You could feel your heart race, the tension between you both thickening as his words hung in the air. But you didn’t shy away. Instead, you leaned forward slightly, resting your forehead against his, your breath mixing with his.
"What are you going to do about it?" you whispered back, your voice teasing but with an edge of vulnerability beneath it.
Beckman’s lips curved into a knowing smile, his fingers slipping under your shirt and lightly grazing the bare skin of your sides.
"I think I’ll let you find out," he replied, his voice deep and rich with promise.
The air between you two was thick with unspoken words, a quiet understanding of what you both wanted, of what was inevitably coming next. The heat of the sun, the warmth of his skin, and the tension in the air made everything feel even more electric.
Beckman’s fingers moved lower gently tracing the outline of your waist as he looked into your eyes, the intensity of the moment palpable between you. His lips were mere inches from yours, his breath warm against your skin as the temperature rose and the weight of the moment settled over both of you.
You could feel his heartbeat beneath your touch, steady and strong. His gaze, as usual, was unwavering.
You let your hands trail from his chest, resting on his shoulders, your fingers grazing the muscles beneath his skin. There was no denying it now. You were both drawn to each other, something stronger than simple attraction between you.
It was a connection that had grown over time — with the teasing, the challenges, and the quiet moments where only the two of you existed in your own little world.
As your lips hovered so close to his, you could feel the slight pull of anticipation in the air. You didn’t need to speak; everything was clear in the way he held you, the way your body seemed to naturally lean into his, drawn by something primal. The tension was thick, thick enough to suffocate you, but you couldn’t tear yourself away from it, not that you wanted to.
But before either of you could close the distance, a voice broke the spell, loud and far too cheerful.
“Well, well, well,” Shanks called out from a distance, a grin plastered on his face as he made his way toward you both. “Don’t mind me. Just wanted to see how things were going on this fine, hot day!”
Beckman sighed and leaned back, his expression darkening with a touch of annoyance, but he kept his hand resting on your waist, as if to reassure you that nothing had been interrupted. The smirk on his face was all too familiar, though, as he glanced briefly at you before raising an eyebrow toward Shanks.
“Seriously?” Beckman muttered, exhaling a long, annoyed breath.
Shanks gave a theatrical shrug, completely unfazed by the situation. “Hey, you two lovebirds were acting like I wasn’t even here,” he said, still grinning. “Thought I’d give you a little… reminder of reality. But don’t worry, I won’t be sticking around too long.”
You groaned inwardly, wanting nothing more than to stay in the moment, but the intrusion was inevitable. Shanks had a way of appearing exactly when he was least welcome, and it was clear he wasn’t going to leave until he had his fun.
Still, Beckman didn’t pull away. His hand lingered on your waist, and he glanced over at Shanks, his lips forming a thin line.
“Get lost, Shanks,” he said, his voice laced with barely controlled irritation. Shanks just chuckled and raised his hands in mock surrender.
“Alright, alright, I’m going,” he teased. “But don’t think I won’t be watching,” he added with a wink before strolling off, no doubt eager to share what he had seen with the rest of the crew.
As the noise faded and you were left alone with Beckman once again, you leaned back into him, taking in the moment before it slipped away. You could feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, the lingering pressure of his hand on your waist, and the shared understanding that you had both been edging closer to this point.
“You don’t give up that easy, do you?” Beckman murmured, his voice a low, rumbling tone that sent a shiver down your spine. His fingers lightly traced the edge of your shirt as he pulled you just a little closer.
“You know you like it,” you shot back with a playful smile.
Beckman smirked, but there was a softness to his gaze now. “I do,” he admitted, his fingers slipping under the fabric of your shirt again, just a hint of teasing in the movement. His touch was slow, deliberate. “But you’re playing a dangerous game.”
You looked up at him, meeting his gaze with a challenging expression.
“I’ve never been one to shy away from danger,” you replied with a wicked grin.
He chuckled, the sound deep and rich, and for a moment, everything felt right. In this moment, it was just the two of you — together.
“I’m not sure you understand how dangerous I can be,” Beckman said softly, his voice dropping lower as his eyes darkened with a knowing intensity.
You leaned closer, your lips brushing against his ear as you whispered, “Prove it.”
With a swift movement he got up holding you as you wrapped your legs around his waist. He carried you to your shared quarters.
The intensity of your connection was undeniable. The heat of the day only added to the fervor between you, the air thick with both desire and the oppressive warmth.
Beckman’s movements were sharp and purposeful, and before you knew it, you found yourself in the privacy of your quarters. The door slammed shut behind him, cutting off the rest of the world, as he lay you down on the bed and crawled over you.
His lips found yours in a kiss that was anything but gentle—a kiss that was fierce, hungry, and completely without hesitation.
As his lips moved against yours, the kiss deepened, a fire igniting between you. Every part of you seemed to come alive, an overwhelming rush of emotions flooding your senses. His hands moved with purpose, his fingers tracing your skin as if memorizing every inch of you, your hands threading through his hair, pulling him closer, not wanting even an inch of space between you.
The heat between you grew, each kiss a promise, each touch more urgent than the last. As his lips moved to your neck, his breath hot against your skin, you let out a soft gasp.
He was focused entirely on you, his eyes burning with the kind of heat that only he could give. His fingers traced down your skin, sending shivers through you as his touch ignited every inch of you.
"I want this," he murmured, his voice thick with desire, as his lips moved back to yours, claiming them with a hunger that made your heart race. You could feel his muscles tense beneath your hands as you ran them over his chest, the steady rhythm of his breathing matching your own
The space between you seemed to vanish as his lips found yours once more, and you couldn't help but respond with the same fervor, your hands roaming to his back, feeling the powerful muscles beneath your fingertips. He groaned softly into the kiss as you trailed your nails over his back, the sound sending a wave of heat through you.
"I’ve wanted this for so long," he admitted between kisses, his voice low and rough. His hand slid under the fabric of your shirt pulling or more ripping it off you, sending a jolt through you.
He smirked as he saw you wore no bra today. "Naughty little thing" he growled as you responded with a gasp as his hands found your breasts, his touch burning against you in the best way.
You couldn't help but moan, the heat pooling between your legs as you instinctively arched up toward him. You could feel his restraint, his control slipping.
You could feel his body pressing into yours, and every inch of him felt like a promise. The heat, the urgency, the way he made you feel like you were the only thing that mattered —it was intoxicating. He pulled back just enough to look into your eyes, his breath hot against your lips.
"You are mine," he whispered, a declaration that sent a thrill through you.
Before you could respond, his lips were on yours again, this time even more demanding, more intense. You met him with equal fervor, your hands pulling him closer, wanting more, needing more. You moaned into the kiss when his hand started to get rid of your pants and underwear and he teasingly traced a finger over your slit.
The world outside no longer existed, just the heat between your bodies, the way his hands moved expertly over your skin, the way his touch sent waves of pleasure crashing through you.
The air around you both thickened with anticipation, as Beckman, guided your hands to his pants, his breath heavy against your lips. As you began to unbuckle them and tug at them until he was finally freed from them.
And then he carefully pushed into you, his body moving against you, his pace slow and deliberate, you couldn’t help but give in completely to him. Making you moan and arch your back.
Every touch, every movement, every kiss, every whisper made you feel like you were drowning in him, and you didn't want it to stop. One hand gripped your hips tight enough to probably leave a bruise but you couldn’t care less. His other hand began rubbing your clit coaxing more moans from your lips. His eyes never leaving yours as he seemed to savor every second of this shared passion.
"Say it," he demanded, his voice low and rough. "Say that you belong to me."
Your heart was racing in your chest the pleasure consuming you making it hard for you to speak. But the truth was clear, undeniable. You were his, in every sense of the word.
"I belong to you," you breathed out, your voice barely above a whisper and accompanied by another moan.
His eyes darkened with satisfaction at your admission, and with a low growl, he kissed you fiercely, his hands moving with purpose as he took you to the brink of madness as you craved for him
You were lost in the moment, in him, in the way he made you feel alive in a way you hadn't allowed yourself to feel before. There was a raw need for each other.
You hadn’t realized how badly you needed this, how badly you needed him, skin against skin, your bodies moving together with a hunger that matched the intensity of the sun’s rays.
The temperature inside the cabin was no better than it was outside, but it only seemed to make the moments more urgent, more heated. The sweat that glistened on both of your skins added to the atmosphere, but neither of you cared.
As your breaths grew more erratic, each movement between you seemed to ignite the spark that had been smoldering for so long. Every touch, every movement, every kiss, was a mixture of passion and longing, as if your bodies were finally catching up to what had been building for weeks. There were no words needed — the only communication between you was the rhythm of your movements, the glances exchanged, the moans of pleasure.
One final push sent you both over the edge, making you cry out his name in pleasure followed by deep, almost feral, grunts from him before he collapsed on the bed next to you. Both breathing heavily, sweating and smiling.
Later on as the evening settled in and the crew gathered around, the atmosphere was relaxed but charged with the usual playful energy. Everyone had a drink in hand, the sound of laughter and clinking glasses filling the air.
You had settled into a corner, half-listening, half-enjoying the quiet peace of the moment—until Shanks couldn’t hold himself back any longer. With a mischievous gleam in his eye, he raised his glass and cleared his throat dramatically, catching everyone’s attention.
“Well, well, well,” he began, dramatically flipping through an imaginary book. “It seems I have discovered some rather interesting new chapters in the ongoing saga of Beckman and [Y/N].”
You froze, feeling a rush of heat flood your face. You had no idea where this was going, but you could already feel the blood rushing to your cheeks as you locked eyes with Beckman, who sat beside you. His normally stoic expression was more relaxed, but you could tell he wasn’t exactly thrilled by Shanks' antics.
Shanks continued, his voice growing louder and more exaggerated. "Chapter one: ‘The Lap Incident,’ where our dear [Y/N] decides to get comfortable in the most unexpected of places — Beckman’s lap, no less! I must say, that was a sight for sore eyes. One minute, she’s walking around, minding her own business, and the next — bam! — right there, straddling him on the deck like she owns the place! And don't make me mention how deliberate her movemens were when she started to unbutton Becks shirt"
The crew burst into laughter, some members chuckling and others trying to hold back their grins, clearly entertained by Shanks’ dramatic retelling of the events. You could feel your skin burning, wishing you could disappear.
Beckman, meanwhile, just sighed, clearly trying to keep his cool, though you noticed the slight twitch at the corner of his mouth.
“And let’s not forget about chapter two," Shanks continued, leaning forward like he was about to deliver some juicy gossip. “The sounds... Oh, the sounds that echoed from [Y/N] and Beckman’s cabin later that day. I must say, I didn’t realize Beckman had such talent when it came to... well, sound effects. I thought I was hearing things at first, but no, it was definitely them."
Shanks continued, his voice booming with false drama, "It started with a soft, sensual whisper in the room. A soft, feminine gasp of pleasure that, no doubt, only the gods above could fully appreciate."
He paused for effect, his eyes flickering to you with a playful smirk. "And what did I hear? None other than... 'Beckman!' shouted with such fervor, I was almost moved to tears!"
The crew erupted into laughter.
Your face burned, and you leaned forward instinctively to hide behind your drink, wishing the ground would swallow you whole.
"Shanks," you warned, trying to muster whatever dignity you had left.
But Shanks wasn’t done. He leaned forward, lowering his voice just enough for dramatic effect, as if telling a forbidden secret. "And then, in the midst of it all, I hear the sweetest sound," he said, his tone shifting as he made a show of leaning toward the others, "the sound of passion, but not just any kind of passion... the kind that belongs to Beckman, who, let’s just say... knows how to leave a lasting impress-"
You quickly grabbed a mug and tossed it in his direction, cutting him off with a playful glare.
"Shanks, I swear, if you don't stop, I’ll make sure you regret it," you warned, even though there was a hint of amusement in your voice.
The rest of the crew erupted in laughter at your reaction, and Shanks leaned back in his chair, raising his hands in mock surrender.
“Alright, alright, I’ll stop. But I’ve got to say, you two make a fine couple, though I’m pretty sure no one else on this ship needs to hear all the details. Next time, maybe turn the volume down a bit, huh?” He winked at you both, clearly enjoying every second of this.
He leaned back in his chair, smiling smugly as he let the tension in the room build
"Asshole," you muttered, though you couldn’t stop a small smile from tugging at your lips, despite your embarrassment.
Shanks threw his head back in laughter. "Oh, I couldn’t resist," he said, clearly enjoying the moment
Beckman, ever the calm one, finally spoke up, his voice smooth but with a hint of something darker.
"Just remember, Captain, you only heard half the story," he said, glancing at you with that knowing glint in his eyes.

the sound of laughter blended with the breeze as the group of teens lounged together, soaking in their thursday afternoon. rin’s gaze kept drifting to the girl across from him, drawn to her warm smile and sleepy eyes as she spoke. when her eyes met his, she gave him that same soft smile. caught in the act, rin’s face burned with embarrassment, and before he could think, he shot to his feet.
"i… i uh, i'm gonna head home. i need to get up early for training," rin stammered, his cheeks tinged with a faint pink as he nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
a small frown dented y/n's face at his sudden change in demeanour. with a sigh, she stood up, facing him with a playful pout. "come on, rinnie, you can't leave so soon," she whined, her voice laced with disappointment.
rin hesitated, his fingers still lingering at the nape of his neck as he avoided her gaze. “i really should go…” he mumbled, though his voice lacked conviction. the warmth in her eyes made it harder to leave, and the way she said his name sent an unfamiliar flutter through his chest.
y/n huffed, stepping closer. “just a little longer?” she pressed, tilting her head. “the night’s still young, and besides…” she tugged gently at his sleeve, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “you still owe me from when you left my house early last time.”
rin’s lips parted slightly, caught between the urge to stay and the instinct to retreat. he could feel the expectant stares of the others, waiting to see if he’d cave. after a beat of silence, he exhaled in defeat, dropping his hand from his neck.
“…fine. but just for a little while,” he muttered, refusing to meet her eyes.
y/n beamed, grabbing his wrist and pulling him back down beside her. “that’s the spirit! now, where were we?” she grinned, settling in close, her shoulder just barely brushing against his.
rin swallowed, suddenly hyperaware of the space—or lack thereof—between them. training could wait just a little longer.
"ah, there he goes again, giving in so easily," otoya teased, leaning back on his hands with a smirk. "rin, you're getting soft."
"shut up," rin muttered, crossing his arms as he looked away, his ears burning.
yukimiya chuckled, adjusting his glasses. "you say that, but we all saw how fast you sat back down."
naomi nudged riya with her elbow, giggling. "he acts all serious, but y/n has him wrapped around her finger."
"obviously," riya agreed, grinning. "it's kind of cute, though."
rin groaned, rubbing his temples. "can we talk about something else?"
"alright, alright, leave the poor guy alone," yukimiya said with an amused chuckle, watching rin sink further into himself. "he’s already regretting staying."
"as he should," otoya grinned, leaning forward. "but, hey, since we're all here, might as well keep the fun going. someone tell a story or something."
"oh! i have one!" naomi piped up, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "but it's kind of embarrassing..."
"even better," riya laughed, nudging her. "spill."
naomi hesitated for a moment before groaning. "fine. so, last week, i was rushing to practice, right? and i tripped—like full-on face-planted—right in front of coach. but instead of helping me up, he just looked at me and went, 'get up, naomi. this is why we work on balance training.'"
the group burst into laughter, even rin couldn’t help the small chuckle that slipped past his lips.
"damn, no sympathy at all," otoya wheezed. "brutal."
"right?" naomi groaned, hiding her face in her hands. "it was so bad."
y/n giggled, leaning against rin’s shoulder slightly without even realizing it. "at least you can laugh about it now," she said, smiling at her friend.
rin stiffened at the sudden contact, his heart stuttering in his chest. he glanced down at y/n, but she was too busy laughing with the others to notice. his gaze lingered on her for a moment longer before he exhaled and looked away, his fingers curling slightly against his knee.
maybe staying a little longer wasn’t so bad after all.
