mmmhh i just LOVE the taste of NOTHING
#Were the stylists who dressed them for MMA not available or did they have a zero budget situation?#bc those hideous techwear were from gambler era sprayed with glitter and added random belts and body chains from idk Jealousy?#don't even get me started on the colors. or well. lack there of.#were they performing at a funeral?#black and white with silver jewlry? did they WANT the boys to be invisible?#also. i don't have anything against Gambler but she had no reason to be the main song#literally why did they not do Love instead?#it made so much more sense...#this one is a personal opinion (i mean all of this is my PO but) there IS something as too much electric guitar#that was just extra and it didn't add anything to the song bc it was THE WHOLE SONG#i also didn't like the begining. they started rush hour at the weirdest part...#idk what its called but its like the highlight of the song but the song BUILDS UP to it so it feels good to reach it#starting with it however just felt weird. it was out of place#i just cant get over how bad their fits were... its like their stylist wasn't available and someone tried to replicate their work#it looks like a bad/cheap copy of their usual style#like how can they have mx look so good for MMA and then mess gayo so bad?#those belts and garters were thrown over those hideous techwear RANDOMLY. it all felt terribly out of place#even tho they had a huge issue with sound in MMA the overall performance was so much better...#also just to be clear i don't think any of this is mx's fault#they have a comeback to prepare for in a little over a week and as far as their performance on stage goes they did great#but whoever planned everything else needs to fired bc that shit was boring at best

Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.
Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.
Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!
Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…
And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

#kingdom hearts dream drop distance#khddd#the world that never was#scenery#my gif#i really love how sora's side of this world is dark and eerie and fully leans into how dreams can distort and twist reality#the city looks mostly normal at first aside from the ghostly fog that seeps down from buildings and drifts along the floor and rises up#but as you keep going the ground beneath you is no longer a street but rather the faces of more buildings that stretch over an abyss#it's no longer the sprawling city you first arrived in but instead an uncanny one way path towards your destination#the buildings now twist and contort and are crooked and grow out of the ground in all kinds of ways that make no logical sense#it's the first time that a sleeping world looks easily distinguishable from the real world. it looks wrong. like a nightmare#meanwhile riku's half contrasts heavily by appearing to be fairly normal#the interior of the real castle never made any practical sense so nothing here feels too out of place compared to how it usually looks#it shows how much more in control riku is in comparison to how sora is losing his grip on reality as he descends further into their trap#cool stuff! love me some environmental storytelling#also i finished giffing every world in this game yippee i'm done (is covered head to toe in blood)

there is something just so amazing about jason coming back to life, seeing how the world remembered him and hating it. coming back to life and telling the people who loved him that they grieved him wrong. people worry if they’re doing the right thing x person would’ve wanted them to after they died, but no one has ever experienced something like that.
someone who you loved and mourned and who loved you back came back and was disgusted by what grief made of you. they didn’t want anything to do with you. how do you deal with the loss of someone you loved a second time around when they’re standing right in front of your eyes, breathing and alive again?

So Kipperlilly's hatred towards Riz is the fantasy equivalent of "they have it easier because of diversity" white people type speech. He has an unfair avantage because his dad is dead so it makes him better??
Her saying "egg on my face for wanting something" pisses me off even more. Saying it to Kristen whose parents kicked her out just for being gay and who wants nothing more than to just belong . All comes from the fact that her own parents don't suck? Most of The Bad Kids' suffering has been dealt at the hand of their parents. Their journey has been them succeeding in spite of all of their trauma and set backs. Adaine's parents were literally hunting her down during sophomore year while on a quest to save the world during Tbk's vacation!
You can be a good adventurer without having evil or dead parents. We can literally take The Seven as an example they had normal families with normal family issues and yet they're great at what they do.
The Bad Kids whole thing started because Riz wanted to save his baby sitter and help the girls that were kidnapped. He didn't even know Kalvaxus killed his dad so he didn't even do it out of revenge in the first place.
Your backgrounds don't define you or your capabilities, your choices do. After everything, they chose to be kind and helpful which led them to become who they are. She was blinded by jealousy she chose to ignore that and hate them for it and their "unfair advantage".
