it's pretty wild to me that people don't see that aang running off to save katara in CoD is his luke in empire strikes back moment, where he runs headlong into his want and attachment and he's narratively punished for doing so and not learning his lesson - aang runs after katara despite guru pathik's warning, like luke runs after leia and han from yoda on dagobah despite yoda's warning; similarly, as a result, things go to hell in ba sing se like they do on bespin - aang enters the avatar state before he's ready and gets killed, and ba sing se falls to the fire nation, luke fights vader before he's ready, loses a hand, and symbolically commits suicide after vader tells him he's luke's father.

the difference between their character arcs is that george lucas and co. actually went thru with luke's hero's journey and understood the fundamental difference between attachment and love, whereas I don't think bryke understood this difference and then dropped this from aang's arc pretty much completely and replaced it with aang digging in his heels into his want and attachment and he gets rewarded with energy bending from a lion turtle, the avatar state from a random pointy rock, and his forever girl from the self-indulgent white men that couldn't bring themselves to give their hero a compelling character arc that meant he might not have gotten everything he wanted at the end.

i know everyone is praising ify for how he’s playing this season and i do think he is slaying but some of his moves kinda bother me😭😭😭i didn’t like how he took all the drug juice i feel like brennan obviously had a plan for how that was gonna work with persimmon dead AND everyone would’ve got a cool moment with the drugs but he kinda just took it :/ obviously it worked out and it did lead to that convo w liv and russell but idk i felt like jacob in that moment and i’m not even playing LMAO like i would rather have just seen what brennan was gonna do and got to see how everyone was gonna take it

Some of my favorite ships but it's which partner they would be in that one "marry me" trend.

Kabedo: Kaeya would be the one dancing in the end. Albedo would be confused but a willing participant in this whole ordeal, but he still would stabd there like 🧍‍♂️ the whole time.

Chiscara: Childe would do it 1000%, Scaramouche wouldn't even stop and look at him, Childe had to follow him around the house because as soon as he started dancing Scara would run off, and even th n he didn't even get half decent footage.

Beiguang: Beidou. Ningunguang would be amused and would pose for the camera, she'd like idea just wouldn't go out of the way to post it. The comments would be... Interesting, and I'll leave it at that.

Xiaoven: Venti. Xiao didn't even notice what was happening and so just stood there bewildered for a couple seconds. He genuinely just thought Venti was drunk and being weird.

Eimiko: Miko. She did it at a restaurant so Ei didn't even notice what was happening, she came across it later and scratched her head. The comment section was similarly insane.

i think the moment i fully accepted that IW's story was. Definitely A Story was the moment ebina announced 'bleach japan'. like i think leading up to that point i was thinking to myself 'oh i hope i see X happen' or being like 'i wonder where this is going' and that sort but the proverbial bucket of ice was definitely that moment

Can we please talk about the attention seeking people are doing lately? It's starting to get a little annoying. Just because you're playing something new, or doing a new hobby, ect. doesn't give you the right to say "Oh Nooo~! Since i'm not on such&such, all my attention is going to go away! I'll be forgotten in the fandom!" Y'all, if you have proper friends that support you, your pieces of art will still get love and attention. What won't get positive attention is being an attention seeking whiny ass. Getting notes and reblogs on a website on the internet should be the least of your worries.
