Hii hii! I hope your doing okay today or tonight, I was wondering if you could write something for dazai (idm if it’s scenario, hc or mix of it and if you add another character you really want to write about).

The request basically is; a reader who finally told Dazai about their past abuser, how they got away with no consequences (who reader mentioned seeing sometimes in the city) and later said abuser goes to the agency on behalf their company to investigate missing items.

Stuff like this is really comforting for me so thank you if you do it :D I hope I put in enough detail for you to work with.

DAZAI AND CONSEQUENCES

A/N: baby, I’m so sorry, but this is long asf and I got a lil carried away💀 I’m also sorry it took a bit to get out. I work in a nursery, so I work 12 hours shifts, and this got to me slam in the middle of my first one (out of three in a row). If this isn’t what you wanted, you can send me in another ask :) But I hope you like it

WARNING(s): reader was in a physically abusive relationship in the past, mentions of PTSD, canon-typical violence, mentions of panic attacks, pissed off dazai, reader is a girl

—I'm gonna assume this is like a pt. 2 of this writing, but it can stand alone, too :)

—We all know Dazai is megamind over here. He sees EVERYTHING. Nothing goes unnoticed by him (which you probably find a little annoying, tbh, but oh, well). It's especially annoying when he knows things about you that you don't necessarily want him to know

—HOWEVER, if it's something that you physically and emotionally feel like you cannot talk about, like it brings you distress and discomfort, he's very unlikely to push you about it. Let's be honest, this man's probably never even told you the name of his parents. You don't even know if Dazai Osamu IS his real name, so he knows he hasn't got room to talk

—I feel like if Dazai noticed something about your mannerisms, or the way you act that very obviously speaks to past trauma, he'd ask you about it, like in my previous writing. If you're unable or unwilling to talk about it, he drops it. He SO desperately wants to know, but he cares for you too much to put you in any sort of emotional distress by pushing it

—When you do decide to open up to him, he's all ears. He knows how hard it is to speak about the shadows of your past, and he honestly is just so flattered that you trust him (he can't believe it, lmao. Like, three people in his life truly trust him) enough to tell him about it

—You were sitting on the edge of the bathtub in Osamu's apartment, absently watching him comb through his wet hair. The two of you had showered together, and you couldn't help but notice over the months of your relationship how much he had changed.

Osamu was flighty at first, and very distrustful. He wasn't a fan of placing himself in vulnerable positions. Not just to you, but to anyone. Yet, when you'd gently brought up his lack of self care, and how it made you sad to see the person you loved think so little of themselves, a change happened.

You helped, of course. At first, you reminded him to brush his teeth when he forgot, and then you began combing his hair. You'd point out when it was time to change his bandages, and call him to bed at an acceptable time because you knew he'd just stay up until the early hours of the morning (if he slept at all). Together, you two had even begun cooking meals, and he'd started to fill out a little bit.

Now, he made sure to do all of those things, even if you didn't remind him/cook with him, because he felt better, yes, but also because he could see how happy it made you.

He was still suffering from chronic depression, of course. You knew you couldn't fix that, and were thinking about gently bringing up a therapist to him, but he had gotten so much better. Even his coworkers noticed it.

Osamu dragged a comb through his brown waves, eyes narrowed as he focused intently on it. It meant so much to you. How could he not focus on it?

You knew it, too. He would've never made these changes for himself, but he had begun to trust that you had his best interest at heart. A few weeks ago, he'd even opened up about some of his own traumas surrounding Mori and the Port Mafia, about his best friend, Oda Sakunosuke.

Osamu trusted you.

That was why it felt so wrong to keep your own past from him, because he was finally starting to open up. You feared if you didn't return the favor, he'd wilt again. More so, you'd recently been catching yourself let parts of the story slip. Subconsciously, you wanted so badly to tell him.

"What are you thinking so hard about?" He asked lightly, brown eyes sparkling with so much affection that it had your breath catching. Osamu was watching you from the mirror.

You blinked, realizing you'd been out of it for a moment, lost in thought. In your lap, you fiddled with your fingers. Part of you wanted to shut down as your heart plummeted at the thought of reliving the worst of it...

But the way he looked at you, like you hung the sun and the stars, like he felt such fondness for you that 'I love you' simply didn't cut it...

It was time to tell him.

"Can... Can we talk?" you asked, surprised by the softness of your voice. It was almost ashamed, but you knew you shouldn't feel shame for what had happened to you.

Only, you were so scared he'd feel ashamed of you.

Osamu was a great aim, and he was smart as a whip, and he was oddly strong for his thin figure. He'd never let himself stay in the sort of situation you did. He'd fight back.

You felt so small.

He turned to look at you, leaning back on the bathroom counter. His eyes were gentle and knowing, and you couldn't tell if you were upset that he already knew what this was about, or relieved. "Of course," he said with a little smile, squatting down in front of you and taking your hands in his. "What about?"

You gulped, knowing there was no turning back now. If you told him this, you'd be trusting him with probably the worst part of your life. Even imagining it, the past with him, made you sick to your stomach.

You knew you'd backtrack if you didn't just rip it off like a bandaid.

"I overreact to things sometimes," you whispered, and he squeezed your hands. "I'm sure you've noticed it."

"I wouldn't use the word 'overreact.'"

You chewed on your lips nervously, staring into his eyes. Thankfully, all you saw there was understanding, but it was still so hard. "My ex beat me. For years... Anytime I did... anything, pretty much. It was bad." Your voice cracked as you continued, tears welling in your eyes. "I couldn't see my family... I ended up in the ER a few times. He broke me, Osamu. He had me convinced I'd never trust another man."

You waited with baited breath for his reaction, trying to hold in the tears. Your eyes stung and your breathing was speeding up into gasps, because you hadn't even told your family or closest friends the full extent of it.

Osamu looked oddly calm, but at the sight of your fallen tears, he got up to sit beside you. Wrapping an arm around your shoulders, he pulled you in close, flush against him, and kissed your temple. "Breathe, baby. It's all right now," he whispered, squeezing you close.

You couldn't stop it now, though. What had been building up since you left your ex was being released right here, right now. There was no turning back. Hot tears rolled down your cheeks and clouded your eyesight. Subconsciously, you grabbed his shirt in a tight grip and squeezed until your hand ached.

"He beat the shit out of me, and nothing ever happened," you continued, the anguish in your voice now laced by anger. "He broke my collarbone... my jaw—my ribs and my wrist. He made me feel like an ant, like I was so small, and I still feel that way now, and even after I left him... I'm still suffering, but he gets to go about his life like it was nothing. I couldn't even go to the police—he said he'd kill me," you got out through gasps, squeezing your eyes closed as your vision had started to darken at the edges, anyways.

Osamu's eyes flashed with something you didn't recognize, but all he knew to do was pull you in tighter. He placed a hand on your head and pulled you into his chest, and you certainly weren't trying to resist.

"It's not fair," you added, knowing how childish you sounded. Nothing was ever fair. Here you were, saying all this to a man who had probably done much worse than just break people's bones, complaining about fairness.

You weren't a child. You knew life wasn't fair, but that didn't mean it didn't fucking suck that it wasn't.

"Sometimes, I still see him, you know... In town, I—" You had to stop, otherwise you'd make it worse for yourself.

He held you close, rubbing your back and gently scratching your scalp as he whispered for you to breathe. Osamu knew you were about to land neck deep into a panic attack.

Eventually, he did get you calmed down. He got you to bed, made you a mug of hot chocolate, and read to you for about thirty minutes before you were able to catch your breath, his smooth voice calming you better than any benzo could.

In the end, you two lied down together, your back pressed to his front. The bandaged arm that was wrapped around your waist felt like a safety blanket. You were sure you'd be embarrassed about your outburst tomorrow, but for right now, you simply soaked up the feeling of him wrapped around you so snugly.

"You're not small," he whispered to you, and that was the last thing you remembered before passing out.

—Dazai doesn't seem different to you afterwards, in that he doesn't act differently towards you. You were worried at first that he'd see you differently, that he'd see you as being as weak as you saw yourself, but it was the furthest thing from. He respects the hell out of people who can go through such terrible things, and yet come out so kind, so good

—While he doesn't seem different, inwardly you can bet he's raging. Dazai is PISSED OFF, more than he's been in years. He's made great progress, but let's not forget that Dazai can be a cruel mf. He's got a darkness in him that he doesn't want you to see, but it is definitely there

—He doesn't press you for anymore details, but he can't help himself. He digs. He uses his brilliance to find out who the guy is, who his name is, and any time he feels even a slight bit of guilt at digging into your past life without your knowledge, he reminds himself of the injuries you listed.

—You thought he'd forget the things you admitted during your confession? PLEASE. He needs to know everything about this fucking piece of work. If he has a photo, he might even text it to Chuuya, along with a message "wanted alive," and you best bet Chuuya takes it seriously (even if he hates Dazai, lmao) because just by LOOKING at the photo of this guy, everyone can tell he's an asshole. And you still see this mf sometimes? Man is RAGING

—Dazai stands on business, because seeing you so torn up about it physically hurts him. It makes his heart ache every time he remembers you in that state. He can't fucking stand it, and he has to do something about it

—Your words about it being unfair haunt him in his nightmares. You're right to a degree: the world isn't fair. However, Dazai knows that if it takes him a million years, he's gonna make this shit fair

—Then, what do you know, one day he's at the office and Atsushi comes strolling in with a Manila folder and the piece of shit, himself. There he is, practically served to Dazai on a silver platter

—"This is Tanaka Jiro," Atsushi chirped, missing the way Dazai's eyes widened when he saw the new client. "He's here on behalf of the engineering company that got broken into last night."

Dazai sat up in his chair, staring right at the man who had the gall to make you feel small and weak. His eyes darkened, and then he slowly smiled. It wasn't happy or gentle, or even playful and teasing.

He smiled like Mori smiled.

In that moment, if his coat was black instead of tan, he'd look the picture of his younger, crueler self. He supposed that part of him never went away, always there just at the edge of his subconscious.

He promised Odasaku that he'd push it away, that he'd do good. However, he felt that even Odasaku, his kind friend, would understand the necessity of it now.

Immediately, he jumped out of his chair and made his way over. His hand landed on Atsushi's hair, giving it a playful ruffle. As he looked at him, his eyes softened. "Maa, Atsushi-kun. You work too hard, you know. I'll take this case for you."

Atsushi stared at him with obvious shock, eyes wide and jaw on the floor, because Dazai never, ever volunteered to work. If anything, he complained about it like a child.

"D-Dazai-san?" he breathed, in disbelief. It looked like he thought someone had killed the real Dazai, and was now acting in his place.

"Ah, ah," Dazai chirped, shoving Atsushi away. "Go do normal teenager things. Flirt, make friends," his voice trailed off as his gaze slid to Tanaka, your ex, and the smirk lifted his lips once more, eyes flashing dangerously, "all of that."

"O-Okay," Atsushi mumbled, still in shock. He recovered quickly, smiling brightly at Tanaka. "Dazai-san is a very good detective, Tanaka-san. You're in good hands!" he promised.

Tanaka smiled back, and seeing the bastard have the audacity to smile had Dazai seething internally.

Maybe, he'd take all his teeth, so that he could never smile again.

"Thank you for your help, Nakajima-kun," Tanaka said, nodding.

As Atsushi walked off, Dazai tilted his head to the side, his plan already formed. "Follow me to answer some questions, and then I'll begin investigating right away."

—For Dazai's plan to pay off, he needs to figure out who broke into the company. It wasn't a planned event, and he quickly figured out the guy who did it probably had no connection to the company (probably just a low down thief looking for some quick cash), which made it more difficult. It was the sort of not-really-a-big-deal crime that the agency would usually put on the back burner (the only reason it even came to them was because the thief was figured to be gifted), but Dazai worked tirelessly at it

—He interviewed people, looked over documents from dusk to dawn, and just generally put in a hell of a lot more effort for this than he usually would for some petty theft

—You probably even notice how hard he's working. There are bags under his eyes and he's back to not taking very good care of himself, but when you ask about it (obviously worried), he just smiles gently, kisses you, and assures you that he'll have this case figured out in no time. He doesn't want you anywhere near this

—When he does find the criminal, their interaction goes something like this:

"I know you did it. Give me the shit you stole, and I'll let you off."

"Bet."

—He has this part meticulously planned out. While your ex is in work one day, Dazai plants the stolen items in his car, and then calls the company security

—He watches with glee as he's dragged from the building, kicking and screaming like an enraged toddler, and fired on the spot. Your ex's livelihood? Gone. Phase one? Completed

—Dazai sat at his desk with a satisfied smile, chin resting in the palm of his hand as he counted down in his head. Everyone else is entrenched in their own workloads, barely even noticing the malicious sparkle in Dazai's eyes.

Soon enough, the door bursted open, and your ex came running in. His eyes were rimmed red, like he'd been crying, and he was flushed all over from rage. "What the fuck did you do?!" he demanded, pointing at Dazai.

"What do you mean?" he asked innocently, standing and walking over with the same smile.

Everyone else stopped what they were doing, watching the scene with widened, or curious eyes. This sort of thing didn't happen much at the ADA.

"You know what the fuck I mean, you piece of shit!" Tanaka screamed in his face, and it only made Dazai's smile widen. When he saw this, he hissed, "I think we should take this outside."

"Hold on," demanded Atsushi, immediately standing from his desk, along with Kyouka and Kenji.

Dazai didn't even look at them, staring into Tanaka's eyes, as he held up his hand to stop them in their tracks. The smile melted off his face, replaced by a cold glare and lips pressed into a line. "I'm fine," he assured them, light tone not at all matching his expression.

"But—Dazai-san," Atsushi mumbled, eyes flickering between Dazai and Tanaka.

"You guys are so dramatic," Ranpo said with a roll of his eyes, absently watching the scene from his desk, which his feet were propped up on. "Dazai-kun said it's fine."

Dazai tilted his head mockingly at Tanaka. "Are we going outside?"

That, they did. Tanaka stomped down the stairs and through the cafe, out onto the crowded streets of Yokohama.

Dazai followed, of course, even as Tanaka led him towards a darkened alleyway, obstructed from the view of the general public. Inwardly, he thought that this guy was making it way too easy. He was an idiot.

Tanaka stared at the dead end wall for a minute, and then let out a cry of rage, turned on his heel, and began running at Dazai with his arm pulled back and his hand clenched into a fist.

Nonplussed, Dazai side stepped it, loving every minute of the surprise on Tanaka's face. "What? Did you think fighting someone your own size would be as easy as beating on a girl?"

That had Tanaka freezing immediately. "What the fuck are you talking about?" he growled out, and Dazai almost laughed at his attempt to be menacing and scary.

Right on time, a black SUV pulled up. He might not be in the mafia anymore, but Dazai had plenty of contacts from it. When masked men jumped out of the vehicle, surrounding Tanaka, Dazai smirked at the look of pure terror on his face.

"Don't play dumb. You aren't handsome enough to pull it off," he said lightly, and then laughed as Tanaka tried to call for help.

He was knocked out before he could.

When he awoke, eyes all bleary and with a searing headache, he was in a big, dark warehouse. It was old and beaten, with leaking pipes and creaky doors. He was sitting in a chair, hands cuffed together behind him.

Tanaka screamed.

Dazai walked in front of him casually, hands tucked into his pockets. "Scream all you like. No one will hear you," he said.

"Why are you doing this?! Who even are you, man?!" Tanaka cried, the tears falling down his cheeks. He looked so pathetic.

Dazai loved every second of it.

He hummed, walking forward until he was right in front of the bastard, footsteps echoing around the wide open space. Grabbing a fist full of Tanaka's hair, Dazai yanked his head back, so he'd be looking up at him, so he could see the icy glare, the hate.

"You hurt someone I'm very fond," Dazai said softly, tilting his head. "You hurt someone I love... And ever since she told me, I've been thinking of ways to make it fair for her. It's all I've thought about.

"She's not like you and me, you know. She's kind. She's sweet. She's good. You," Dazai scoffed, "you're pathetic. A man who has to beat defenseless women to feel good about himself is no man." When he leaned in close, so his lips were inching his ear, Tanaka whimpered. "And me? I'm the worst of the worst."

Now, all Tanaka could do was cry and plead, but Dazai wasn't having any of it. He let go of Tanaka's hair, letting his head fall limply, enjoying the sounds of his uttered prayer. "No god can save you from me," he told him in a pleasant voice, taking a few steps back.

Dazai crossed his arms and hummed thoughtfully, making a show of it. "I thought I could just kill you, but that's not really fair, is it? She has to live with what you did to her, and I think the fairest thing would be if you have to live with what I do to you."

"You're fucking psychotic," Tanaka whispered.

"Ah," Dazai agreed easily. "I've always been more of a proponent of revenge, rather than justice. See, she probably just wishes you'd have gone to jail." His casual tone melted into something deeper and smoother, deadlier. "Whereas I'm more of an eye-for-an-eye kind of guy, so..." He pursed his lips in faux thought, looking up at the ceiling. "What was it she said?"

Tanaka stared at him in horror, especially when Dazai stared him straight in the eye and smiled.

"Right. Broken jaw, collarbone, ribs, and wrist!" He said, snapping as if he'd just remembered it, as if your broken confession hadn't been causing him physical pain this whole time. "I have plenty of history with breaking jaws, so I guess we'll start there. What do you say?" he asked brightly.

Tanaka screamed again, the sound becoming a cry of raw terror as Dazai began walking towards him.

An hour later, Tanaka still sat in his chair, still handcuffed, but he was bloody and bruised. Every injury he inflicted on you, Dazai returned tenfold. He was delirious with pain, and in and out of consciousness.

Dazai grunted when he looked down at his hands, seeing the blood that absolutely coated his knuckles and bandages. He'd have to clean that up before coming home to you.

"You up?" he asked, walking closer.

When Tanaka immediately flinched back, Dazai hummed with satisfaction.

"I won't kill you," he said, as if he was doing Tanaka some great favor. "You're going to go about your pathetic, little life with no job, and every time you look at yourself, you'll remember this pain. You'll finally feel at least a fraction of what she did."

Tanaka just whimpered. It was hard to speak with a shattered jaw.

Dazai smiled at the sound, crouching down in front of him to force Tanaka to look him in the face, in the eyes. "The men who kidnapped you are going to drop you off at a hospital. They'll ask what happened, and you'll be tempted to tell them. So," his tone lowered into a hiss, breaking the somewhat casual facade now that Tanaka had physically felt his anger. There was no point hiding it now. "I'll tell you the same thing you told her at her lowest point, that defenseless girl who didn't stand a chance against a piece of shit like you: tell the cops, and I'll kill you."

Dazai stood, jaw clenched. "And I'll be watching you from now. Step a toe out of line, hurt anyone else, and I'll bring you right back here. Only, that time, I'll probably just go ahead and do the whole world a favor, and shoot you in the head.

"I bet no one would miss you at all, because that's how small you are."

With that, he walked away.

—I know that was pretty brutal, but to be honest, y'all, Dazai was a whole ass executive in the PM (the 'demon prodigy'). He tries to hold it back in the ADA (per his promise to Oda and his care for the others), but let's not kid ourselves. The guy does have the capacity to do some really evil shit, and I think if he'd do it for anyone, it'd be you

—It just pisses him off so much to feel helpless, especially when it comes to you. He couldn't save you, then, but he can damn well set the record straight. In his head, he had to do something. At the very least, he had to stop this guy from doing it again

—You were eating dinner with him that night, and hadn't really noticed anything out of the ordinary. Both of you were just sitting at the counter, digging into some instant ramen, and you probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't pay such close attention to him.

There was a speck of blood on the collar of his coat.

"Hey, what happened?" you asked, concern pinching together your brows. Worried eyes scanned him over, looking for any sign of injury. You found none, though.

"It's not mine," Osamu answered, and then took a bite of his food, looking pointedly away from you.

You pursed your lips, tapping his wrist. "We don't lie to each other, O-sa-mu."

He couldn't help but smile a little at your tone. His eyes finally met your's, and he tapped your wrist back. "It's not a lie. It's-not-mine."

"It's a lie by omission if you don't tell me what happened."

You were terribly confused when his eyes softened, and then he gently pressed his hand to the back of your head, bringing you closer until your foreheads were touching. "What's wrong?" you mumbled.

"I can't tell you everything," he admitted slowly, eyes shut. He looked so peaceful, like he was where he was meant to me. Honestly, when Osamu was all soft like this, it took your breath away.

"Then tell me part of it," you breathed, reaching up to cup your hand around his neck. "Did something happen?"

He stayed quiet for a long time, though you didn't know how long. It was like he was contemplating something serious, and that both confused and worried you.

When he finally did speak, it felt like time froze. Everything froze.

"I made it fair. He won't ever hurt anyone else again. I made sure of it."

The words were a whispered promise, and you automatically knew what he was talking about, of course. He was mysterious, and he had been distrustful at first, and you knew he had once been in the mafia, but he was also the person you trusted the most in the world.

Osamu always went above and beyond for you, and you didn't feel as safe anywhere as you did with him.

You believed him wholeheartedly, and found that this admission was enough. You didn't need to know the details, and probably wouldn't want to.

The relief you felt was enough.

"Thank you, Osamu."

—Look, he's so bby girl with you, but he don't play when it comes to your abusive ex💀

—Just... just honestly don't fuck with the people this guy loves, okay? He's gd diabolical, and he can be so cruel to those that hurt who he cares about, so... Just watch it if you're tryna show out to his girl, okay, lmao

Here I'll throw ya one. On another blog, they were chatting about Raditz with a crush, and now it's all I can think about. In most fics I've read he boinks Reader/Whoever pretty fast (and those fics are amazing and I love every bit of it), but I have been super curious about what it'd look like for him to slowly open up to and get a crush. How he'd act and all that.

Would he be all tsundere and deny it? Would he try and woo us (and probably fail miserably)?

With a human crush:

so first of all- you're human, he's saiyan, and he sees a problem with this (even before the crush)

so i read on the saiyan wiki that saiyan men LOVE strong women, so you're very feisty and will absolutely butt heads with him, no questions asked

at first he's annoyed like "the AUDACITY of this human to oppose me???"

but then it kinda becomes a thing between yall and he's like "man the audacity lol" and he finds it kinda hot

more time passes and yall spend more time together before it passes the territory of "hey, friends don't do that!" and like everyone points it out (yes he survived the piccolo beam :3 or the dragon balls brought him back idk you choose)

but everyone starts to point out the staring and how he oddly is nicer to you🤨hmmmmm

at first for a few months he's like "me? with a human? grossss"

but then Goku and Vegeta are like "humans are kinda goated, we literally have kids with them" so Raditz does some self reflecting

he realizes that he'd totally get with you if you WERE a saiyan so maybe the human barrier is kinda dumb

after this conclusion he makes it his mission to make you fall madly in love with him

every fic i've read of this man portrays him as a frat boy or sex god, and while i LOVE that for him, i'm a firm believer he's an awkward loser when it comes to romance

he flirts with you but in the saiyan way and there are lots of mixed signals

"fight me!" "no?? hEY-" he's already trying to attack you :/

he eventually learns humans are "lame" and do "boring" things for romance, like movie dates or eating out (cringe, right?)

"h-hey human! wanna go to that p-place you keep talking about?" you're thinking for minute because?? THE Raditz stuttered? crazy

but he takes it wrong and assumes you don't want to, so it's a 5min argument convincing him to go💀

similar scenarios happen for a few more months and it literally eats him alive how slow this is moving, it's killing you too dw

after like a year of human dates he starts ranting because you point out that he seemed kinda tense lately

"well i don't know what i'm doing half the time on this planet, i have to live with being the weakest of my race, i can barely stand to be next to you without burning alive-" he kept ranting but your mind blanked after you heard that

with a smile you began to poke him "you likeee me" the HUMILIATION on this saiyans face "you like likeee me"

not how he hoped it'd go, but you two are very happy together :3

With a saiyan crush:

pretty sure it was in canon lore the only remaining saiyans were male, so um, you're the only surviving female, yippee?

you have many suitors to choose from, but uh, most weren't very appealing

and tbh, Vegeta was never an option, you were a peasant or whatever, so he was grossed out🤮couldn't properly carry out the royal bloodline i guess

because Raditz and you were both weak by saiyan standards, you were paired together often, strength in numbers, right?

after making it back barely alive he eventually recovered and told you how he felt

his story of how strong earths warriors are made you question staying with the frieza force until it was safe to leave

once Vegeta and Nappa decided to invade earth, you and Raditz tagged along secretly and started to live happy lives as the weirdos next door :3

I hope you're having a good day\ (•◡•) / and have a request for you........ok this takes place in a Canon au, Levi is cleaning the HQ one of the rooms Since his brats (the scouts😅) didn't clean the room the right way, so he was doing this by himself he had the scouts doing something else, anyway he was cleaning mind his own business until he look at the corner of the room, to him it look like a black rope (which is was not it was actually a snake just curl up, a black rat snake) he was about to pick it up until he saw the snake move, Levi panic because he never encounter a snake before and he heard some snakes can be venomous so he thought this snake was venomous he was about to hit the snake with the broom until y/n came in hearing a commotion, she stop Levi before he would hit the snake He questioned her why she stop him, y/n pick up the snake to observe it and this makes levi more panic he told her to put it down because it could be venomous, y/n Told him is harmless it's a black rat snake and is non-venomous, she told him why the snake was in the room probably looking for a Shady place, she took the snake outside and release it to the forest and she say "snakes are scared of us that you are scared of them so when you see one don't kill it they actually help the environment for Less mice"

Hello! We don't have this snake in the UK, only black snake we have is an adder and they're super bad news. I had to step over one as a kid while it was shedding its skin. Also had to help a friend get to hospital cause we were on the beach and they got bit.

We have slow worms here and a lot of them. Cute as a button, tiny things and people think they're snakes, but they're harmless little legless lizard.

So, looked up this snake so I could write this.

Harmless visitor

Levi x fem reader

Canon World, fluff, romance, Levi has a crush, hidden feelings, snake handling.

Levi hummed to himself as he swept the floor. It was clean, but not to his standards. It appeared that the cadets had cleaned as fast as possible to get outside. He had mixed feelings about it; he understood the desire to get out there, but the place wasn't immaculate.

He paused a while when he saw something black and tangled up, almost like rope, but something was off. As he approached it to grab it, the thing started moving. It was a snake.

Levi jumped back away from it. "Shit!" He'd never seen one before in his life; all he knew was that snakes were deadly, nasty and couldn't love. It had to die; he needed to kill it. "You little fucker."

"Don't."

Levi blushed hard when he saw you'd grabbed his broom. He softly said your name as his heart raced. You were so pretty. "Um..."

You smiled at him. "It's harmless, it's just a black rat snake."

"Black rat snake?"

You walked closer to it. "Yeah." You carefully picked it up and smiled as it wrapped around your wrist. "They're harmless and non-venomous." You showed him the snake. "They can't love their owners if you owned one, but you're safe around it."

"Can I touch?"

You nodded. "Yeah. It's rather smooth."

Levi lightly touched the snake. "I thought it'd be slimy."

"Most think that." You walked to the door outside. "I'll take it outside."

Levi followed you outside as you walked to the forest. "How did it get inside?"

"Mm, probably the warmth. Snakes don't like the cold that much." You came to a stop, lowered your arm and released it. "They're just as scared of us as we are of them." You turned to Levi. "They'll get rid of some of those pesky mice that you've been battling with."

"Tch, damn mice shitting everywhere." He sighed. "I guess the snake is a good thing."

"Everything is good and bad in some sense. If we had chickens and eggs here, then the snake would be bad."

He studied you as his feelings blossomed. "You're incredible."

"Oh." Your heart fluttered. "You're too kind. I don't think I am, but thank you."

He cleared his throat as the blush grew. "Well, I think you're incredible and wonderful. You continue to impress me."

You leaned over and kissed Levi's cheek. "You always impress me." You walked past him. "Call me if you want me to tame any other snakes."

Levi went bright red. "B-Brat! Tch, dirty!"

You laughed as you hurried off. "Bye!"

Alastor's Animal Noises

I won't call this an unpopular headcanon, just one that is slept on.

So, everyone knows about Alastor making deer noises, both in canon and fanon. In the show he canonically makes little fawn squeaks when Rosie hugs him (which lives in my head rent free at all times) and does the elk scream a couple times throughout the show. Fanon is just as up in arms about this trait of his, and I think it's great.

But.

What if he ALSO made alligator noises? HEAR ME OUT - trust me, you won't regret it.

So.

When you really think about it, there are a large amount of traits that Alastor has that would make it logical for him to share traits with an alligator as well as a deer. These include: teeth/habit of eating sinners(cannibalism) (alligators are known cannibals), place of origin being Louisiana, persistent presence of bayous in his life (near his home in the living world, supposedly where he hid his victims, where he died, and the bayou in his room), ambush predator (makes you feel at ease by being unassuming then strikes before you even realize the danger), and his temper (appears calm until he's NOT) just to name a few.

Despite what people tend to think, alligators actually make a TON of different sounds, though there's a few main ones I'll talk about.

First one is the territorial growl.

I feel like Alastor could make this sound when he's being territorial (obviously), threatening, or protective (as rare as that is). He begins making this sound a lot more often the longer he stays at the hotel because he begins to see it as his territory, and the residents as his people (not that he'd ever admit that lol). Also, I feel like hearing this loud, bass-feeling noise from this rail-thin deer man would be a bit jarring, especially if you'd never heard it before

Second sound is the defensive hiss.

This is a sound Alastor would make if he's feeling threatened. I'm thinking scenarios where he's annoyed/mad/anxious are when he'd hiss, because they're all scenarios where he'd be trying to get something or someone to leave him alone. It's a very different yet very similar sound to a cat's hiss. They can mean similar things, but hearing an alligator hiss is significantly more threatening, which fits Alastor's character. Also, it means he can still sound terrifying when he's the one who's scared (if he manages to make a distressed gator sound rather than a distressed deer sound that is lol)

And of course, we can't forget the mandatory cute sound, the baby swamp puppy chirps.

If he gets to make fawn noises, you bet your ass he's gonna make swamp puppy laser sounds. The scenarios where he'd make these noises are a lot more rare, but they definitely exist. He wouldn't ever admit it, but he sees Rosie as a mother figure, and just as he tends to greet her with fawn squeaks, Alastor will subconsciously start doing little baby gator chirps when he's looking for her and can't find her. His instincts are to call out to her so she can find him - the same way baby alligators do with their mothers - and the side effect is that he makes cute little laser chirping noises without even realizing it. He has a tendency to do it when he's looking for anyone he likes who is older than him. Zestial finds it charming and the few times it happened to him, Husk refuses to talk about, a lot of mixed feelings brought up by the fact that the man who owns his soul has given him at least somewhat of a parental role subconsciously.

anyways, these were just my thoughts on it, feel free to add on your own or use it as inspiration for your own work (let me know though, I want to see it!!!!) (putting this in the lee!alastor tags to feed the imaginations of my friends there who are always starving for more things)

Hazbin Hotel Agere Headcanons!

A/N: Oooh yesyesyes!! I love Hazbin. My hyperfixation on it is starting to come back HARD. Also this will be a mix of character x character and character x reader simply based on vibes. :3

Characters: Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Husk, Angel Dust, and Nifty!

Charlie

Caregiver! She’s like a mom. She loves taking care of others and she’s honestly an amazing caregiver. Like the best ever. Very encouraging and very good at comforting.

Vaggie is her little.

Does well with littles of all ages! But does prefer a little bit if you’re old enough to go out on adventures with her without her having to worry about it too much. :)

Calls you things like “Sweetheart” and “Little one”

Not very strict at all. Just sets a bedtime and makes sure you eat well!

Just overall extremely sweet and loving.

Vaggie

Little. Very reserved and quiet when she’s little. Doesn’t speak much. Prefers to be private about it and gets overstimulated very easy. Not gonna write too much about her because I’ve already made headcanons on her and I don’t wanna sound like a broken record!

Little ages are 4-5 and her caregiver is Charlie!

She likes playing with other littles sometimes. Not for too long, though, because hanging out with people drains her social battery easily. But she still loves playing!

Calls Charlie “Mama” and is very clingy to her, especially in public. She likes when Charlie sings to her. It calms her down a lot. :)

Doesn’t really like rules very much. Not because she’s a troublemaker or anything, rules just make her anxious and she feels a lot of pressure to follow them.

She’s a very shy, awkward baby but she’s adorable!

Alastor

Caregiver. He’s my caregiver actually it’s canon in case you guys didn’t know. He’s violent and manipulative with everyone else, but with you he’s sweet and gentle. He’s EXTREMELY protective, though. Like anybody looks at you wrong and they won’t be heard from ever again.

He’s not a caregiver for anyone except you. You’re the only one he’ll take care of like that.

Does well with littles of all ages but since I’m projecting, I’m gonna say he likes more dependent littles, so like…0-3. He thinks it’s so cute when you babble and waddle and want him to pick you up.

When you babble, he’ll nod his head and be like “mhm…mhm…oh wow!” like he’ll just play along.

He’s also really good at understanding your baby talk. He analyzes and takes note of your baby talk and your mannerisms.

Sometimes if you’re babbling and your babbles are in like…a passionate or aggressive tone, he’ll hold his microphone up to you. Just because he thinks it’s funny.

He loves playing with you and walking around the hotel with you. His little shadow thing plays with you a lot.

He buys you toys, pacifiers, coloring books, anything you want or need!

He’ll use his powers to like. Sing and dress you up and be super dramatic with you. Like that scene in Hazbin where he starts singing and prancing around and changes everyone’s outfits lol.

Calls you things like “Darling”, “my dear”, “beloved”, “sweetheart”, etc.

Likes being called parental names or just “Al”. :)

Very strict. Has a bedtime for you, sets mealtimes, makes you hold his hand around the hotel or outside in general. Also no TV. He does not like TV. :(

But that’s okay, he puts on the radio for you! You can sing and dance around to songs. :3

Overall a very loving and protective caregiver!

Husk

Caregiver. He’s like Haymitch from The Hunger Games. At first he acts annoyed and displeased, but he grows fond of you and enjoys taking care of you and he ends up being a really good caregiver!

He’s your caregiver and sometimes he babysits Angel Dust if Cherri Bomb is busy or just not around.

Does a bit better with slightly older littles. Like 6+ years old. It’s just because they tend to be more independent and whenever you’re regressed, he has to be able to trust you to not get into things you’re not supposed to. Like if he’s watching over you while at work, he needs to trust you to not get into the alcohol lol.

He likes physical affection and needs to have you around him no matter what, surprisingly enough. He’s super soft with you and if anyone else confronts him about it, he’ll tell them to F off and insist that it’s not because he’s clingy; he just risk a child messing things up if he’s not watching them, that’s all!

STRUGGLES with deciphering baby talk and it’s really funny and also another reason why he does better with older littles.

Likes calmer activities. Like if he’s at work, you can sit at the bar coloring or doing a puzzle or something and he’s perfectly content with that! When he isn’t at work, he likes having you in his lap while you color or play. He also really likes cuddles.

He himself tends to act out and be aggressive as a defense mechanism, so he’s actually really understanding when it comes to temper tantrums! He’ll ask you why it is you’re mad and then he’ll try to comfort you.

Like if you throw a fit because you wanted something but couldn’t have it, he’ll straight up gentle parent you. He’ll be like “I understand that you’re mad, and you’re having big feelings right now because you really wanted that, but that is not an option right now.” and then he’ll give you choices of something else you can have or do.

He’ll call you like a shortened version of your name or something related to your personality!

Idk how to explain it but as an example, because I love jellyfish and I go by jellyfish, he’d call me Jelly or something!

He likes any name you give him, although it takes him a bit to warm up to more parental ones! It isn’t that he doesn’t like it, quite the opposite, actually, he’s just not at all used to somebody trusting him like that.

Also pretty strict. Has a nonnegotiable bedtime, makes sure you eat enough and on time, not afraid to put you in time out or take away desert, etc. He isn’t mean, just protective.

He does not trust ANYBODY to babysit you, which is why you tend to sit at the bar right in front of him while he works. If he absolutely HAS to leave you with somebody, he’ll leave you with Charlie, and even then it’s very rare.

Angel Dust

Okay so I don’t really write for Angel Dust, as I’m not really sure how to. Characterize him. I don’t know how to write him very well and I deeply apologize for that. He’s just a very feminine and stereotypical gay man and I don’t wanna somehow be weird. Especially since I’ve seen a lot of gay men say they don’t like the way Angel is written. 😭

That being said, I think if anything he would be a little. Purely involuntary trauma regression. Regression is a trauma response for him and often times, whenever he’s little, he’ll be in his bed, holding Nuggets (I think that’s its name…), and just crying. :(

When he is feeling better and it’s one of the better days, he’s a troublemaker! His little age is around 6 and he’ll run around pulling pranks and generally causing chaos. Alastor isn’t his caregiver or even his babysitter by any means, but if Alastor picks up on it, he absolutely encourages Angel to just. Be a menace.

You have to have rules for him. Like you HAVE to. And even then it’s not like he doesn’t break them a lot. You have to put him in time out and take away TV privileges or send him to bed early a lot.

Cherri Bomb is his caregiver, and she’s like a big sister to him. He calls her “big sis” and “sissy”. She calls him “rascal” and “troublemaker”.

Likes playing with other littles but he can get a bit too rough sometimes. He’s just not very good with interacting with people, but he’s trying!

Overall just a very silly and mischievous little. :)

Nifty

So, I feel like, if anything, she’d be a babysitter! Like she thinks littles and age regression are adorable but she will absolutely encourage acting out. 😭

She’d set up littles to act out, actually. She’d be like “Hey…you wanna go prank Alastor?? :3” and it’s always disastrous 😭😭😭

Does well with littles of all ages! Either way, she’s gonna be like that one aunt that gives your kid a LOT of sugar right before sending them home lol.

Probably mostly babysits Alastor’s little but isn’t his first choice for. Obvious reasons. But if Rosie isn’t available, then he’ll let Nifty or Charlie babysit and if it’s her, all hell breaks loose.

She plays with you a lot. She’ll join in on games of play pretend and even make up story lines! She’ll read you books, color with you, help name your stuffies, etc!

Sorry I’ve written so little for her. I’m not really sure how to characterize her either but I’ll probably update this entire thing once the first season of the show comes out! :)

as someone who is trying to re watch the series but still doesn't remenber some stuff i cool seeing your essays :D they're fun to watch. Also i didn't remenbered how silly dsmp was until re-watching. Like the start is just people (and csapnap and ctommy) killing and annoying each other and cdream being like tired of all of this but still happy with his friends. Like the start of the discs war doesn't have this dramatic tone of life or death that future arcs have. Everything in this pre-cwilbur era is going fine in general

Truly very silly, which I think is partly what makes it so good. In my opinion really good media mixes dark themes with humor, because that makes it entertaining and a little less depressing to watch. It’s what makes Technoblade so enjoyable to watch because he blends those serious tones with humor, not in a way that undercuts their gravity or invalidates them but just tries to lighten the mood.

I think I will disagree with you a little in regards to how things were all fun and games in the beginning and not as serious in the disc saga, because to me Dream sounds similarly as pissed off in that war as he does in the speech about Spirit.

Is it as serious as Doomsday or Prison and stuff later? No but I think we do the story a dishonor when we don’t take the beginning of the server as seriously, something I often see. Because even if perhaps it wasn’t as serious for most characters, clearly it did matter to Dream as he brings it up specifically in the finale despite it having been years since then… like yes obviously the prison arc is a much more serious, darker turn in the story but make no mistake just because it was all fun and games for Tommy and Sapnap, doesn’t mean it felt that way for the rest of the members. I mean how many times did Ponk’s tree get burned, and Alyssa straight up leaves before things really amp up plot wise. And like yes, the theatre of it all heightens when Wilbur enters the scene, and yes when plots get more developed so does the drama of it all, but I think sometimes we confuse story structure with seriousness. And true, canon lives I think play a big role with how serious things become, but still I think the fact that Dream [post] holds onto grudges from the start speaks to how serious it was to him. And even Tommy, brings up his first day in the finale too [post] clearly it did matter and it did hurt them to the point it was something they still hated eachother for years later.

Ooh good question!

I tend to change my hcs based on the AU I'm writing, but i am not exaggerating when I say these little freaks are Always on My Mind so I have an ungodly amount of canon-themed hcs. Here we go:

- Remus is one of the only people Sirius cuts a fair amount of slack. Sirius has high standards and expectations of others but he has a huge Remus-shaped blind spot, so will find reasons to excuse Remus' sometimes shitty behaviour. He has heart shaped eyes for his gangly, sly, avoidant attachment style man.

- Remus sleeps like an absolute log, anywhere, anytime. Sirius has always been a light sleeper, wakes easily, and doesn't sleep much.

- They kept their casual fucking-turned relationship secret until well after graduating. The only ones who knew were James, Lily and Peter. Lily was the first one to figure it out because poor James had been in the trenches, so used to his friends' flirting that he didn't even clock it anymore. It brought Lily and Sirius together because he had someone to talk about it with, the first person he'd met who wasn't a casual homophobe about it, and was sympathetic.

- Second to this! James and Peter weren't always rainbow flag waving allies. They were teenage boys in the 70s - they'd drop casual homophobic comments all the time before finding out about their friends. Sirius joined in sometimes to hide it from James (he never cared what anyone else would think but he was secretly afraid of losing closeness with James), and Remus went very quiet whenever this happened. James was surprised at first when he found out but came around within minutes and apologised for being a thoughtless dick when he was younger.

- Peter most definitely used Remus and Sirius' tumultuous relationship against them. Remus was very avoidant about coming out and Sirius, while not his highest priority, resented having to hide. They bickered about it and Peter would often throw a spanner in to make their fighting worse.

- Sirius' hair is a good indicator of his mental health. While he's not vain he tends to keep it neat and out of the way when he's in a good place mentally. When he's fighting inner demons he lets it go and Remus knows this. He uses it as a Sirius-meter, and knows when it's starting to get long and unkempt to gently pry into what's going on with him.

- They do the crossword puzzles together most mornings (when Remus gets up in time)

- Sirius is fantastic at baking although he only did it once or twice for Lily's birthday (per her request). Remus is the cook for both of them, although when Sirius isn't there he sustains himself on tea, biscuits and deeply suppressed anxiety.

- Sirius is a singer when he's in a good mood. Remus adores coming home to hear his deep voice belting out a mix of muggle and wix songs because it means Sirius is in his happy place. Sirius is a serenader - it starts as a joke but there's a soft look in his eye when sings while he spins Remus around the kitchen. It's one of Remus' favourite Sirius-isms

- Sirius jokes about Remus' lycanthropy to make light of it. He can be a bit callous and insensitive about it at times, but his candour does make Remus feel less like a monster.

- They are god-awful at communicating as they're both rather private, skeptical people. While it's something they have in common and respect about each other, it makes for difficulties in a relationship.

- Sirius is a Nightmare when he's bored so Remus has a mental Rolodex of thought-provoking questions to stop him from wreaking havoc (or just being annoying). As soon as he sees the restlessness starting, he casually brings up that new law about to pass in the goblin senate, and how it might affect non-human creatures in the wizarding world. He still hasn't recovered from the time Sirius got bored and took apart his record player to see how it worked and he's not getting caught out again. This is also one of the reasons why Remus is in Sirius' top 3 favourite people - he always has something interesting to say and will happily debate for hours. Sirius is hardly ever bored around him.

- Neither of them are jealous lovers. Remus' self-worth is in the toilet, so if he sees someone flirting with Sirius he just feels miserable and spirals, thinking about how Sirius can do so much better than him. Sirius is a fiercely loyal person so he never flirts back and thinks Remus' self-image issues are ridiculous. On the odd occasion that someone flirts with Remus, Sirius rather enjoys it because a) it's ammunition for teasing and Remus will go bright red when he brings it up, and b) Watching Remus eventually realise he's being flirted with is prime entertainment - he fumbles and blushes so hard and almost takes out whoever's around in his haste to flee. It's priceless. Also - Sirius is extremely self-assured and knows his partner is hopelessly gone for him and would never cheat. Trust is extremely important to them both.

- Remus is extremely unpleasant around the full moon. He's got all sorts of aches and pains, has trouble sleeping properly, fatigue, and nausea issues. It makes him irritable and snappy. Sirius is incredibly patient with him and gives him space. He doesn't take Remus' mood to heart and occupies himself while Remus wallows. He's always there when Remus finally emerges from his misery to pitifully request a massage or a pain potion, and is uncharacteristically soft with him during the full moon period.

- Sirius. Cannot. Stand. the way Remus runs away from problems. It's his biggest pet peeve and it's a source of some of their biggest fights.

- Remus is mostly vanilla-aligned but is open to trying whatever new thing Sirius comes home with, smiling giddily and clutching a new toy or book with a spell he wants to try out. Occasionally Sirius will strike gold and find a kink Remus is wild for (ahem, praise kink), and is horribly smug about it

- Sirius is hopelessly gone for Remus' feigning innocence, lying through his teeth act. He doesn't understand it, but seeing Remus lie point blank to someone's face with those big, trustworthy brown eyes, sends him off-the chain, I-need-to-fuck-this-man-right-now-wild and he has no clue why. Remus is aware of this.

- They are mostly switchy but will go for months at a time with a preference for topping/bottoming. When Remus is feeling particularly insecure he tends to want to be fucked intimately, face-to-face, where he can see every twitch in Sirius' face, can catalogue the evidence of how much Sirius adores him. Sirius is just happy to be along for the ride because this way he can completely blanket Remus and grind slowly, swallowing every one of Remus' whimpers and broken moans as he fucks him slowly and thoroughly. Sirius can't get enough of taking him apart, finding his limits, anything that breaks Remus' finely tuned composure.

- Sirius is awful at apologies when they're younger. He has trouble admitting or even seeing his wrongs. After becoming an animagus he finds that it's much easier to apologise as Padfoot. After a fight he'll go for a rage-fuelled long walk or bike-ride, and cool down. When he's said or done something he regrets, he'll come home as Padfoot, tail drooping and wagging hopefully, big grey eyes fixed on Remus. He'll sidle up to him and just stare, wagging his tail. Remus knows exactly what he's doing but it's impossible to stay mad at him like this and he begrudgingly accepts that it's Sirius' way of apologising. It's not the healthiest communication tactic but they're not perfect. Once Sirius receives a begrudging head scratch, he changes back to his human form and acts like they never fought. It's annoyingly effective.

- Remus absolutely loathes flying on Sirius' motorbike. He begrudgingly admits it's hot to see Sirius dismounting, windswept, leather jacket donned, but god help him he'll do anything to avoid joining him on that death-trap. The only upside is that when he gets cajoled into riding, he can wrap around Sirius like a squid, burying his face in his back, and it's the only way it feels even slightly safe. Sirius secretly loves when Remus does this, and although he doesn't know what cute aggression is, it makes him want to squeeze Remus until his head pops off.

- Sirius is The Garbage Bin of the relationship. Oh you're not gonna finish your dinner? Pass it on over. Random assortment of treats Remus can't finish? Munches on them instead of meals. He often forgets to eat so he gets what he can when he can - ADHD eating style. Remus is the sick Victorian child, 'i can't eat too much dairy or I'll die'. Takes one bite of an apple and feels sick, Sirius, come get your snack, boy.

- Neither of them ever wanted kids but they both like children, which is a surprise to both of them. Given the chance, they are the Coolest Uncles, although Remus is cagey about their relationship and insists they're just best pals that live together until Harry is old enough to call bullshit, and Sirius just shrugs like 'yeah, he's weird about it. If you ask him about it he'll run away to Turkey. I'm working on it.'

Right off the bat, he's still going to work. He's doing everything he'd written in his notebook the night prior, and nothing, not even a high fever, will get in his way.

I think he'd be a lot more irritable than usual if he had a bad headache, wanting to get things done as quickly as possible so he can just take a mf breather.

Either that or when Dazai is being Dazai and starts to annoy Kunikida as usual, instead of the usual angry response, he's met with a quiet "Dazai... Please, just... not today."

And OHHH how he'd be on missions. If he were to get nauseous, he wouldn't want to burden whoever he's with, and he definitely wouldn't want them to insist he goes home.

So let's say at the end of a fight, or even just walking to or from an important meeting, he may unexpectedly say "Hold on, I'll be right back," and make a dash for the nearest bathroom, forest, or garbage can where no one is near and just let it out. He'd come back and pretend nothing happened.

He might blame coughing on the dry air, or choking on water, but it ends up happening so often that no one is buying it anymore, especially when the coughs get really bad. The coughing could get so deep that it makes him nauseous all over again.

What ends up really setting people off is when his words start to not make a lot of sense. He might talk slower, or mix up his words, and sometimes not even notice.

Oh and his writing. Shaky, messy penmanship, reports are incredibly vague and not nearly as detailed or professional as usual, and he hasn't even touched his notebook since he arrived this morning. Or imagine he gets the time wrong if someone asks, because his vision is just so unfocused that he can't see the hands of his watch correctly.

Eventually someone like Dazai or Atsushi just insists on him going home, and that's just the last bit of confirmation he needs to prove he can just rest.

And once he's stumbled back into his apartment, he flops right onto his futon, not even bothering to set an alarm for tomorrow morning; just wiped out immediately before his head even hits the pillow. When he doesn't show up on time the next day, no one bugs him about it. He needs his rest.

BONUS:

He is usually a very light sleeper, able to be woken up by even the quietest things. But when he's sick, he's out like a light and there's no hope in waking him.

He canonically gets neck and shoulder cramps often, and I can imagine they get much worse with added body aches from a fever. Everything is all stiff and sore, it's so uncomfortable and he has to be very careful with how he moves or else it'll flare up and just make him so miserable (Oh IMAGINE Dazai giving him a shoulder massage. How good that would feel. All the tension just dissipates from his muscles, and he can finally relax his shoulders).

He probably looks really good with his hair down just sayinggg... Sometimes I imagine him without that fuck ass rat tail of a haircut and instead all his hair is long; what if he put it in a lil messy bun when he's at home......

Info post about the au

(If characters seem OOC ((Out Of Character)) it's beacause I'm going off of my own interpretations/headcanons/fandom versions. So please be aware of that)

More info under the cut (Info is subject to change at any time. Info may be added to as well)

-Jobs in the group: Mix of things where ever he’s needed, often helping with scavenging, or just trying to cheer up everyone in the group and building upkeep

Weapons of choice: Bow, staff that can turn to duel blades.

-Head canon voice: ???

-Backstory similar to the og Dream (other than the fact Nm didn't eat the apples. Similar with the fact people liked him over Nm, and he didn't know about anything Nm was going through.) Unlike the og Dream he was guarding the tree for a lot longer than him (around 450+ years), guarding the tree long after the og apple incident.

-Nightmare is actually older than Dream by around a minute, sometimes Nightmare holds that over Dream just to annoy him.

-Dream and Nightmare are both trained in combat, due to being the tree guardians they’ve both had different forms of combat in them since they started existing. Dream’s fighting style focuses more on defense. When fighting side by side they fight in such a way to cover each other's blind spots.

-Dream doesn’t mind the pronouns He/Him, but also will go by They/Them. Either He/They works for him, They’re not too picky about it.

-Always refers to Nightmare as Night, the only time he uses his full name is if he’s trying to scold him, or trying to get his full attention.

-Kind of protective over Night, They knew some people pick on Night (didn’t know the extent of it), and also due to Night being shorter than them and also not really having much magic either. Even when they join the group, they still stay a little bit protective over Night, trying to be Night’s voice of reason when Night wants to do something dangerous.

-He knew Night didn’t exactly have the best mental state, though he didn’t know the extent of it. When the apocalypse happened, he noticed Night’s mental state got better, though he never talked to Night about it.

-Before the apocalypse, all the negative emotions were getting to them. Though, they tried to not let it show. No one but Night noticed this.

-Night is really good at reading Dream. But Dream can’t read Night as well, he’s better than normal people at knowing what's going on, but isn’t the same as how Night knows him. It’s just Night has been hiding his emotions and such for such a long time that It's hard to tell what he's hiding and what's real when it comes to him.

-After the apocalypse happened, Dream took note that Night would sometimes ramble to himself, mainly it would just be hearing quiet mumbles from Night. They found it weird at first, since before that they’d barely hear anything from Night. At first, they thought these mumbles were due to stress that Night was possibly having. But seeing how Night's mental state got better, Dream then assumed that these mumbles were just because Night feels more comfortable to talk. Since he feels Night is going to be talking more he uses this to try to get more convocation out of Nightmare than what he’d usually get from him.

-Night and Dream joined the group, kind of in the middle of everyone else joining. He found it easy to get along with Blue, Ink was also somewhat easy for him to get along with, though he found Ink a little weird. Dream understood that Night didn’t really want to stick around anywhere for too long nor did he want to be around people, he was worried that Night would leave them but was glad to see Night stick around.

-Dream is sort of surprised when they joined the group that Night was making an effort with people (not realizing that Night was doing all that to prove himself to the group). He’s also surprised that Night made an effort to befriend Horror (not knowing much about Horror thou), and a bit later making friends with Killer and Dust. Dream doesn’t mind Horror as much, as Horror is a bit weird but okay, whereas Dream didn’t exactly like Night being friends with Killer and Dust, due to the fact they’re both murderers. But after a bit, Dream realized they most likely won’t do Night any harm.

-Dream often tries to help out where ever they can, they like to help out Lust with (non-food-based) plants/gardening. Since they know, seeing plants/plant-life can create a sense of calm/wellbeing.

-Dream still feels like he can’t abandon his job as one of the tree guardians, he knows Night doesn’t feel the same, so never really talks about it. But he feels like it's his responsibility to fix the apocalypse by trying to fix the balance of negative and positive emotions. Even though he knows it may be way too much for him to do, he isn’t even sure where he’d start.

-He finds it easy to get along with most people, but he also understands he can be a bit draining with how he acts and the fact they’re in direct contact with positive energy. He doesn’t mind spending time with people, but he does also appreciate having time to himself. Often liking just relaxing away from everyone, since he doesn’t have to try to be chipper all the time.

-Is able to distinguish what type of positive emotion someone has, either they be happy or in love. But cannot distinguish what type of negative emotions someone has.

-Dream’s tail is constantly moving around. Either it be wagging or swaying, moving to point left or right whenever he looks that way. In contrast to his brothers tail.

-When they talk their hands are always moving, talking in hands with gestures. They can’t help it and does it subconsciously, if anyone points it out to them, they get super embarrassed and try not to move their hands around, normally holding their hands to their chest or lap.

-Is learning how to draw from Ink, Blue also joins in on these drawing sessions sometimes as well.

-Doesn’t really like modern technology, he can use it to some extent, but just doesn’t like it for some reason. He does enjoy watching movies on a laptop as long as others watch it with him though, but that's the extent of his love of technology.

-Is scared of owls, doesn’t like the fact they can turn their heads 180°, meaning they can always watch you. Freaks them out, also got shown a picture of owls without feathers by Night once and hasn’t been the same since when thinking about owls.

-When around others they tend to act somewhat innocent and try to be positive most of the time. Mainly because they doesn’t really want the others to question them too much. They tend to keep this act up around Night, but they know Night sees straight through it. But they can’t help it, due to the situation they feel they have to make sure they’re a beacon of positivity.

Kids-Guarding the tree as adults-After joining the group

How they feel about:

Nightmare: Adores Nightmare, Night is his brother after all. He’d do anything for Night, and doesn’t like it when Night puts himself in dangerous situations. He tries to do what he can for Night, but he knows Night keeps a lot of things to himself, which he wants Night to open up, but he also doesn’t want to force him to talk. Dream knows Night is trying for him, but he wants Night to try for himself to do things because he wants to do them not because it will make him (Dream) happy.

Cross: Likes Cross, appreciates the fact he’s trying to take care of Night when he can’t be around Night. Thinks Cross is just genuinely nice, often hangs out with him, normally with others as well either that also be with Night or Blue. Cross had accidentally told him that he had a crush on Night. So he (Dream) tries to help Cross where he can when it comes to Night. He wants both of them to be happy. Is basically a wingman for Cross.

Blue: Likes Blue, Blue was one of the reasons he wanted to stick around the group. He and Blue got along very well. Pretty much felt like meeting someone who is very close to your own personality, and they hit it off.

Ink: Likes Ink, but thinks Ink is a little bit strange. He sometimes doesn’t feel emotions from Ink, and Ink explained their vials to him. Was quick to find out that Ink does random stuff and has no concept of danger or what is right and wrong really.

Dust: Unsure what he thinks to Dust, since he knows Dust is a murderer, and doesn’t tend to feel much emotion from him, and he hangs out with Night. He can see that Dust most likely won’t hurt Night, but it still does have him worried since Night isn’t the biggest fighter.

Horror: Unsure what to feel about Horror, something feels off about him, but he was Night’s first friend in the group. If Night likes him, and he doesn’t look like he’s going to hurt Night in any way then he can’t really complain.

Killer: Unsure what he thinks to Killer, since he knows killer is a murderer. Doesn’t tend to feel emotions from him. Is also unsure on the fact he hangs with Night, Dust has shown clear signs of not wanting to hurt Night, whereas Killer hasn’t really shown anything to say he won’t hurt Night.

Error: Likes Error, Error acts like he doesn’t like him though, but he knows that Error doesn’t actually mind him. The only time he’s seen Error somewhat actually annoyed is when he brings Ink along to come see him.

Lust: Likes them, sees them as a good friend. Appreciates how chilled out Lust is, and that Lust acts as the only normal friend for Night. He and Lust often hang out together, he likes to help Lust with gardening, or help them make/repair clothes.

Fell/Edge: Is okay with Red, just doesn’t appreciate Red’s swearing. Red’s one of the more organized members of the group, so tried to help Red out where he can to make sure things don’t spiral out of control.

Geno: He is okay with him, he can feel Geno normally doesn’t feel okay so tries to cheer him up when he can. Doesn’t really like looking at the scar on Geno, but he knows Geno can’t really do anything about it, so just tries to ignore the scar.

Outer: Likes Outer, they get along well. Will sometimes join Outer on a night to look at the stars. Likes to listen to Outer talk about things. Appreciates how chilled out Outer is. Often him and Outer will work together on things to help other people out, since they both tend to have a lot of free time.

Sci: Likes Sci, sometimes sits with him so Sci can ramble about things to him, likes it when Night joins them too, hearing the two go back and forth with info and thoughts. Treats the two like a podcast, even though he doesn’t understand half of it he’s starting to recognize what things they talk about.

Reaper/Death: Unsure what to think really. Doesn’t like the fact Reaper is out to kill Geno, but at the same time Reaper is polite and nice to him. So has conflicted feelings about him. Tries to keep Geno away from him. They tend to be on good terms but its on thin ice.

Fresh: Night told him to stay away from him. Trusts his brother's judgment, doesn’t understand why Night wants him to stay away but after a few interactions realized he was getting a bad feeling from Fresh, so decided Night is probably right about staying away.

Gans/Echo: Doesn’t mind him, but doesn’t like it when he swears or smokes indoors, but doesn’t try to police him on these things, knowing it's not really any of his business.

Chief: Doesn’t mind him, thinks he can be a bit rude, but other than that thinks he’s okay. Tends to help him out if he thinks Chief needs any help, but knows Chief enjoys bossing someone around, so doesn’t ask half the time if he needs help.

Would you please share your HC about Durge's sexuality? Is he turned on by (non/sexual) violence, pain, power play? In your fics it's mentioned he has a bit of a breeding kink but never made any kids. Do people just tend to not survive the act and he doesn't care? Is it a gender preference? Is he so annoyed by all living things that he just prefers them dead? Is that why he's so confused by wanting Gortash alive?

Okay, i'm gonna put this under a readmore because it might get kinda long. And uh...cw for Durge stuff

In my canon, Durge's sex drive is pretty much an extension of his urges. That's how he sees it, just another physical urge that he has a right (and sometimes a duty) to indulge in. Murder triggers it, and when that happens he doesn't really care how he finds release, be it with corpses or living people. It's just a natural extension of his worship, another urge to add to the mix.

And in the heat of the moment it's like another form of worship, because of Bhaal's obsession with offspring, which means that Durge's mind is going to turn towards the most Bhaal-approved purpose of sex; reproduction. It's all really on the same level to him, murder and sex, all ways for him to fulfill a purpose. But that doesn't mean he actually has to find the idea of baby bhaalspawn appealing after the deed is done. So in my fics it's usually a case of his lovers either being dead before they start or after. If someone survived, because he briefly managed to convince himself that kids were a good idea, there's no way he actually lets them live for the full 9 months it would take- too many chances to change his mind (I actually had a line about this that i cut from a fic. I figured fetus sacrifice was a bit much. Suffice to say that he was very unimpressed with the whole idea of baby Durges).

There's also the whole "ecstasy of murder" thing, where he probably gets way more enjoyment out of killing his partner than they could ever give him while alive.

Another bhaalspawn is a rather pointless sacrifice at best, competition at worst. Like, he could have the baby just to sacrifice it, but it's a pretty neutral act, you know? He created a life just to take it, so it brings him no closer to his ultimate goal of snuffing out all life. Also, it's a point of pride that he's the ultimate Bhaalspawn, and Bhaal won't need anyone else- especially not some half-breed. And if The Dark Urge just does his job well enough, that will more than make up for the horde he could have produced in the meantime.

When he's with Enver, however, that's a pretty safe line of thought to indulge in, because he physically can't get him pregnant, so it's way safer to think about than murder, which is always a very real risk. And I think Enver is the first time that Durge is turned on by anything about the actual person (apart from basic physical features. I do think he is attracted to physical features, especially very soft and human features because it seems quite fragile and fleshy and mortal to him. Very warm blooded and appealing to kill.). Like, power, intelligence, authority, the back-and-forth they develop. Not because Enver is completely unique or they're "soulmates" or anything, just because it's the first time he's actually had to pay attention to another person on that level and consider them an equal. And that means that there's more at stake when they start sleeping together, AND a perfectly reasonable excuse for both himself and his dad for keeping Enver alive (the plan). And of course he gets attached, because that makes Enver special in his mind.

All in all, sex is just a very natural part of life to him, and he has no real shame about it, because he grew up in the temple where it was pretty much expected and celebrated.

i'm curious about one thing though, isn't it a bit meh to ship two people when one of them clearly finds it annoying/uncomfortable? although maybe that's just enemies to lovers excellence lol but i usually love enemies to lovers so idk why i don't ship junpo... it's not because of thamepo because i honestly find them a little bit boring for my taste but something about po being so (on the nose) whipped for thame doesn't let me enjoy junpo, you feel me?

i do get what you mean, po is so enamored with thame (and so annoyed by jun sfjksgfj) that for some people may be hard to imagine him ever developing feelings for jun, which is why in the context of the show i also tend to lean more towards a thame/po/jun poly (thamejun is very interesting to me too ngl), but at the same time i think part of the fun of shipping comes from the fact that it doesn't necessarily have to make perfect sense

canon gives us the framework, and within that, we can play with as many possibilities as we'd like, as long as they're interesting to us. this is something that i think fandom has lost a little over time, it seems to me that it has become a bit more rigid compared to when i was younger, but i've personally shipped characters who didn't even interact with each other (like, EVER) just because i thought their dynamic would be fun (shout-out to jayfoei, those bitches truly had me moving differently)

so to me, it's not that hard to imagine junpo somehow happening, but maybe it's because im also very biased towards jun and i don't read po as being uncomfortable with him. annoyed and frustrated as fuck due to a mix of a bad first impression, jun basically being his complete opposite, and po not being able to understand jun's intentions? sure. but uncomfortable? not really, and i think the proof of this is that po is ready to praise jun when jun isn't there to hear him, he doesn't mind touching jun or jun touching him when thame isn't around to see them, and he willingly shared personal stuff with jun when they were trying to bring nano back to the group (which he didn't really have to do for the plan to work)

jun also brings out a side of po that we don't see with anyone else, not even with thame, at least not after the first episode. po is someone who tends to overthink and doubt himself a lot, and he often has a hard time speaking his mind (see: telling the vendor he wants only one sandwich now, for example), but he doesn't have that issue with jun, and sure, one could say that it's because he doesn't care about jun's feelings (although imho po is way too kind for that), or maybe it's because their dynamic allows po to be more open and more true to himself

also, if you think about it, in the first episode po started out disliking thame because he thought thame was like his ex, but then he got to learn about thame and what he truly felt and po's feelings for him started to change, so i don't see why that couldn't happen with jun too, especially since po has never seen jun being vulnerable (in po's eyes, jun is the smart one, the cunning one, the annoying one, the unbothered one, but what if he saw jun struggling and breaking down in front of him????? DELICIOUS)

so yeah, idk. they're obviously never going to happen in the show, and maybe in the next episode the writers are gonna be like SIKE. JUN NEVER LIKED PO. but they still remain a very compelling pair to me, and in my head it's not that hard to imagine a future where thamepo break up and po eventually falls for jun

for some people that may be unrealistic, for me it's not, and i think both point of views are valid. at the end of the day, fiction is our playground, and as long as we don't hurt anybody, we can play pretend with what it offers us in any way that sparks joy!!!!

Sure thing!!

Error taught Ink how to knit some things and Ink taught Error how to draw some things. Of course they didn't master each other's hobbies but they know some things now.

They aren't a touchy couple due to Error's haphephobia. The most they do is a short lasting hug or a peck on the lips, no more.

Error is mostly affectionate through words and gifts. He either steals paint or pencils from AUs or sews some clothes or knits some dolls for Ink. He started showering Ink with gifts bc he felt as if though his affection through words only isn't enough and he should do more.

They STILL have fights as The Guardian and The Destroyer. Their job is somewhere and their love is somewhere else, they don't let their love interfere with their job.

They were dating for a LONG time but only announced it when Dream and Nightmare made a one-and-for-all truce. And then the twins just told them that they have known Ink and Error are together for a long time. Not many people know besides Dream and Nightmare, Error404 figured it out somehow and nobody knows how, he just did.

In gatherings with both the star sanses and bad sanses, they are always next to each other. And if Error gets overwhelmed or overheats due to the amount of people near him, Ink takes him to OuterTale to just chill out and wind a little bit and makes sure he's okay before they go back.

They argue sometimes because Error wants to watch UnderNovela and Ink wants to watch a cartoon on TV and they only have one TV in the anti-void and Ink refuses to make a new one and Error refuses to give up his TV. So there constantly switching the channels every 2 minutes, they have mixed up each other's shows and now Error is wondering if SpongeBob was a character in UnderNovela and Ink is wondering the same now

They're both INSANELY flexible and have taught each other how to do some stuff. For example: Error taught Ink how to double backflip, Ink taught Error how to stand on his hands, etc.

Ink often "steals" stuff from Error just to jokingly annoy him. Like he would steal dolls and make Error chase him down to get them back, he once even took off with the TV while Error chased him down carefully and Ink then tripped and fell with the TV in his hands above his head, Error used his strings to save the TV first and let Ink fall on his face [He knew the fall wasn't enough to even take 1 point of Ink's HP but it would legit break the TV.]

They have days where they travel all AUs they can. They give themselves 24 hours to go through as many AUs as they can. Both travel alone and count the total of AUs they saw BUT they must always leave SOMETHING near the AU portal thingy to let the other know that this AU has been went through. Ink would leave paint, Error would leave strings. And some days, they're just tired and decide to have conversations with each other until they fall asleep due to exhaustion.

Not a traffic/hermitblr post, But i’ve fallen back into the the music freaks fandom for probably around a month, so I wanna post thoughts.

I’ve seen WAYYYY too much shit about drew getting a redemption arc. Guys, redemption arc makes him no longer the antagonist, and as much as i’d love for him to get a happy ending, I think We are missing a very obvious plot point here that not enough people are capitalising on, and that is a COMPLETE VILLAIN ARC.

Okay okay, hear me out. I know that, on the surface, this seems like it wouldn’t happen, drew’s stated that he’s done with jake, and to be honest, he seems like he’d be way to upset to get revenge, and I dont think he’d be the type for it either. He’d probably just ignore jake. HOWEVER-

He already hated the club, and what do you get when you mix hormonal teenage boys with back to back bombshells at once (jake spending less time with them, then finding out zoey cheated on him, losing jake, and probably some other stuff,I need to rewatch tmf)? You get an absolute minefield of emotions, ready to blow up the entire field if so much as a stone is thrown at it.

This is where the ultimate villain arc sets in. First few weeks, maybe 1 or 2, drew’s not gonna do shit. He’s gonna be grieving and probably honestly crying himself to sleep, you CANNOT tell me he wasn’t 2 seconds away from sobbing in the drakeup fight. However, after those 2 weeks, this little shit(/pos) is gonna go full on Regina George, World Burn style.

In the past, Drew has (canonically) been the one to start verbal fights, but let other people do the fighting while he just watched and laughed. Not anymore though, because now he’s pissed and petty and is probably feeling the teenage equivalent of his world pretty much ending. Nothings gonna be the same again, so why bother?

I feel like he’d projecting heavily, starting fights with the music club and even other people for even so much as provoking him. I don’t think these fights would ever go past swearing, insults, and maybe a finger shoved into a chest to point at them, as I don’t think drew’s the kind to get too physical, However, I can absolutely see him screaming at the top of his lungs at Luke Because He knocked over his lunch tray or something, which would probably spiral into a fight with zander

Small inconveniences and remarks would feel like a stab in the chest to drew, causing him to lash out. And one small fight could definitely domino into a WHOLE arc. I’ll list a theoretical example for this scenario, expanding on that tray idea from earlier (This is just one way of how this route could go, and is just for example)

>Luke bumps into drew, knocking his tray down. Probably apologises

>Drew doesn’t give two craps about apologies at this point, and yells at him, probably calling him a name and getting more annoyed than usual

>Zander spots Drew yelling at luke, and comes over to protect him. Luke tries to get zander to go off, knowing he’ll probably make it worse. Zander doesn’t listen, and yells at drew, probably something along the lines of “the hell is your problem?!”

>Drew yells at Zander too, and it begins to go back and forth. Definitely name calling, maybe pushing or shoving if someone got too close

>if a teacher hasn’t already seen them, then I feel like hailey would go over. Jake would probably follow behind, but be out of drew’s vision for a bit

>Probably spirals into drew vs zander and hailey, while luke tries to break them up and jake just kinda standa there.

>Drew starts screaming at them, is probably overwhelmed with everything all at once, because emotions

>I feel like this is when Jake would step in, and tell drew to back the fuck off. He’d probably say it nicer, but definitely would be like “hey, quit yelling at them! Its not a big deal, just clean it up!”

>Drew, at this point, probably not wanting to deal with all 4 people at once, would leave, probably taking henry and liam with him

And then, seeing as how a lunch tray could probably set him off, we’d rinse and repeat this and other scenarios until drew just snaps. You’d get tired of constantly feeling as if you’re battling the world with every inconvenience too right? Insert mission Burn book!

Mission burn book is essentially what I like to call drew’s way of getting “revenge” on the club. (Name is 100% inspired by mean girls.) Whether it effects jake (I personally think it would be targeted at the club in general, drew not even caring jake was in it any more) or not, It’d be something drastic. Definitely a 2 in the morning, chugged 4 cans of redbull and 2 monsters decision.

I feel like it’d definitely effect them socially, maybe outcasting them even more than they were before. Infact, outcasting them SO BADLY, that essentially everyone in the club starts to get bullied. And this makes for great angst, and flashbacks to middle school jake!!

Drew, meanwhile, would sit back and watch the chaos, making sure to keep henry and liam out of it. Maybe he’d regret it a bit. Maybe he wouldn’t. But it either way, he’d go all out.

TLDR: guys make him evil stop making him get a redemption arc, the potential with evil popular teenage boys is actually so high
