Yes, society runs on the kindness of seemingly uncompensated labor. But I promise, if you stick around and stick with it- you will be compensated with the most fulfilling and meaningful life. Voluntary kindness is EVERYTHING. Today I shared kisses (the chocolate kind) with a few ladies at school.... then a very kind lady with pink hair gave me an ice cream sandwich (she didn't charge me anything :'3 which was a surprise)... and then ANOTHER kind lady came into THAT kind lady's shop just to gift her sweet grapes that she mentioned she grew out of her backyard!!! Then guess what???

The cycle continues!!!!! And we're all so grateful and smiling. We're all so much happier than we would've been just buying these things because we had to for ourselves. Everything tastes better when they're coming from someone who thinks of you and cares. I love people.

I'm hopeful for dream weavers making this happen. College students voluntarily sharing pages of textbooks and lab manuals. Kids voluntarily sharing their toys. Strangers sharing benches and holding doors open for each other. It's all in the spirit of KINDNESS. I'm so proud of the camaraderie I've seen within society and to be a part of it. I'm proud of whoever is reading this for all the nice things they've done on earth too. It might seem unnoticed or uncompensated for now but hold onto this vision. It's a positive feedback loop. It's symbiosis. It's mutual aid. It's humanity! I'm so grateful to play a part.

I started my plush work in 2013. I have worked hard on developing my style and process over the years. I create my embroidery and patterns from scratch, so everything I make is one of a kind. I do not sell my patterns because they are not normal and only I can understand how they come together. I live in West Virginia, USA. I can ship all over the country and internationally. I live in a dog, bird, and reptile friendly home. I love anime/manga, superhero movies/tv/comics, horror movies, animals, art, and making plushies.

My Plush Work

I work with minky fabric since it’s the highest quality I can use to make my work the best quality possible. I can also use faux furs, long pile minky, mochi fabric, fleece, and cotton if needed (or requested). I use upholstery thread when sewing my plush together. The thread is incredibly strong and the chances of pieces coming apart are very low. If they do come apart (very uncommon), just message me and I will fix and reinforce the piece.

My work is considered “art”, not factory produced for the general public. This means that they are unique and special, but it also means they are not really meant to be handled roughly, crushed, and/or given to very small children. They are pretty durable since they are plush, but any material can wear over time when they are over “loved” (lol). Taking them on adventures, and carrying them around is totally welcomed, just please go easy on the tug and pull <3

Ordering a Plush

Please feel free to reach out to me through Twitter (X), Tumblr, Instagram, or Facebook. I do my best to answer as soon as possible, but you are welcome to message again in case I have not replied after a few days. (I can get busy with the Plush Business, my full-time job, and taking care of my pets.)

Let me know what you are looking to have made. (I can make humans, animals, creatures, cars, robots etc.) Let me know what size and style you are thinking of and if there is a certain time you would like to have it made by. (It normally takes about 2-4 weeks, it depends on if I need to order anything specific.) Please provide images if possible (if you want something unique and only have a description, I can do a rough concept of the character for you, or if you would like to commission me to do art of the character, please feel free to request it). Once I have this information, I will give you a price quote. The quote will only be for the plush, this will not include the shipping or taxes. If you agree to the price, I will request an email from you and will send an invoice. It will list all the details for the transaction, including shipping and tax. The invoice is through PayPal Goods and Services, so we are both protected.

Once the payment is made, you are added to the queue. Before I start on the plush, I will create a concept for it. In this stage (and only in this stage) you are welcome to make any updates to the design. (For example: preferring a different color, wanting the eyes to be bigger, not wanting a certain part included etc.) I will do my best to get as close to the concept as possible. It will never be exact, but I do normally get really close. After the concept is finished, I will share fabric colors to ensure they are right.

Once everything is approved, I will create the pattern and embroidery files. Next, I will embroider the fabric and cut out the pattern. Finally, I will sew the plush together and share the final plush in our communication. I will need you to share the preferred name and address for the shipment. Once this information is provided, I will pack up the plush and send it out. I will provide the tracking when it is on its way.

Shipping the Plush

My standard shipping is first-class and using a waterproof bubble mailer envelope. This keeps the shipping as low as possible. ($7 within the US, $25 International)

For 2025, I am offering priority and over-night shipping (overnight only available in US). I am also offering the option to ship within a box instead of a bubble mailer. These options will be much higher prices and can be discussed while setting up the commission.

Please note, once I ship a plush and provide a tracking number. It is out of my hands.

Canceling a Commission

You have 1 week after ordering to cancel a commission. If I ordered materials for the project, it will be deducted from the total.

If a plush is not correct (and it is due to my mistake), I can grant a full refund. Unless I am able to fix the issue. The mistake would be due to me not using the correct color fabric, missing an important detail from the concept etc. Just not liking a plush or deciding you don’t want to pay for a plush once it is made are not valid reasons. I have various examples of my work and before commissioning me, please review my pages to make sure you like my style and quality.

Final Note

I am more than happy to work with someone to make a plush they can afford and love. Since all of my plush are custom and I make all the patterns and embroidery, I can make adjustments easily. For example, I can make the plush smaller and contain less details. I will be happy to explain what parts are causing the higher price and we can work out other options. I believe PayPal has options to make multiple payments too, so I can still get full payment and you wont need to pay in full right away.

I WROTE ANOTHER FIC WITH MARK (I need him so bad guys, I'm OBSESSED)

You didn't want to be there.

Everyone knew it, including the newly appointed head of the big data department.

You didn't really like Mark S, but you had no choice but to live with him while you were at work, since he was your supervisor, who decided whether you could go home because you were finished, or if you should stay for another couple of hours.

The first few weeks, you tried not to let your discontent show, but there were many things about that company that seemed incredibly strange to you.

Once, you asked Mark what had happened to Pete, who had previously worked there with them, and was also the boss.

Mark simply told you that he no longer worked there, and that you shouldn't make a big deal out of it.

But you did, and the problem was that no one should, or if they did, it shouldn't be obvious.

You found it impossible to believe that your outie would have accepted a job like that in a company like that. I mean, what kind of person with half a brain would take a job at Lumon? It was crazy.

You assumed your outie needed the money, so in the end, he opted for the job that suited him best, so he could bring home a nice chunk of money without having to worry about anything other than work.

You assumed his life was shit, and that he didn't mind getting the separation surgery, because anyway, why remember the world out there when you were only good for something in there?

Days and weeks went by, and you asked yourself more and more questions.

Until one day, you decided to come up with a strategy to send your outie a message from within the company.

Obviously, you didn't need anyone to tell you it was forbidden, but you tried anyway.

You took a Post-it note and stuck it inside the cap of a pen.

Afterward, you poured yourself a glass of water and put the cap in your mouth.

You didn't know if it would work or if you'd choke, but it was worth a try.

Then, just as you put it in your mouth, he appeared. Mark S. You didn't know where he came from or why he had that stupid smile on his face. The fact is, as soon as he saw you, he approached you.

"Good morning, y/n," he greeted. "It's a good day to refine a couple of bad numbers, don't you think?"

You nodded, which made him frown. It was strange that you didn't take advantage of this conversation to disagree with his opinion.

That's when he realized what was going on. According to the manual, Kier had already been through something like this before with several of his apprentices, and like a good worker, Mark had read the manual and knew exactly what to do in that situation.

“The sensors also detect messages inside your body,” he said, making you stare at him as if you had no idea what he was talking about. “When the sensors detect that one of the employees is carrying a message inside their body, Milchick is in charge of removing them,” he whispered, giving a smile that was somewhere between friendly and amused. “Between you and me, I don’t think it’ll be a very pleasant experience.”

He extended his hand toward you.

He didn’t need to say anything for you to open your mouth and drop the pen cap along with the message in his hand.

He grabbed a handkerchief that was on the table and, after wiping it, threw it in the trash.

"I thought I'd finally gotten you comfortable here," he murmured, and the tone he used made you feel a little sorry for him. "I see that's not the case," he said, his head bowed.

"It's not your fault, Mark," you replied, making him meet your gaze. "You've worked hard to make me feel comfortable, but…" Then a thought occurred to you. "I want a waffle party."

"You can't. That's only for employees who have reached the target number this month."

"What target number?"

"The maximum number for refined data," Mark replied. "The last time we had a waffle party, it was because Petey surpassed the target number three weeks before the end of the month." He smiled at the memory. "I still remember the taste of chocolate."

"What happened to him?" you asked, interrupting him. He tilted his head at you. "Who?" "To your best friend and former head of the big data department, Pete," you pointed out. "What happened to him?"

"I was told he doesn't work here anymore; I told you last week."

"Who told you?"

"I'm not authorized to reveal that information," he defended himself, creating an impenetrable wall around himself that was impossible to climb.

"Okay, don't answer," you agreed. "But don't you think it's strange that he just suddenly disappeared?"

"The board prefers to carry out layoffs discreetly," Mark commented. "They'd probably call him into their office and show him the way out."

"Do you really think that?" you asked, raising your eyebrows.

He thought about it for a moment. He'd never considered the way the company worked until you arrived. He couldn't say if that was good or bad."

"I don't know," he admitted. "What do you think?"

"I think he tried to get out of here by every means possible," you whispered. "I think he discovered something they don't want the others to know, and they killed him for it."

"Don't say that," he muttered, looking at the camera next to you. "It's against…"

"I don't give a shit about the rules," you cut him off. "You have two options: either help me figure out what the hell is going on here, or I'll do it alone and face the consequences myself." You snorted, looking at him seriously. "I don't care if they throw me in the break room again. I've repeated that damn text 125 times, I can do it another 200 times."

Mark watched you for a few seconds, thinking about what it would mean to help you. And he realized you were right.

"Okay, I'll help you," he whispered, staring at you. "I won't let you do this alone."

"Okay," you nodded, giving a relieved smile. "Thanks, Mark," you whispered. "I know this isn't easy for you."

He mimicked your gesture before answering.

"Who said life was easy?"

Hi, sorry to bother you! I wanted to ask for some advice, since you seem to be part of the Madness Combat fandom :))

Well, the thing is that I'm an artist myself, and I have been a fan of madcom for a long time. Specifically I've been wanting to get more involved in the fandom.. but honestly, I don't have any idea from where I should start. I mean, I though about posting my art in an account dedicated to madcom.. I considered instagram but it feels kind of limiting or very superficial ;-; idk if I should do that on X or tumbrl... I also though maybe about joining an Amino, but I didn't have the best experiences with the app.. or maybe discord, but I don't know if it's a good option or if people there are even friendly.

Hai there, you're not bothering me at all!

Many of my sentiments echo how @/slaughtershack has already answered (who I think did a very good job of answering your questions), but something like this is important to me so I'd like to say my piece as well.

I only started posting here about four months ago asking the same questions as you, especially because I didn't have anyone in my personal circle who was also interested in madcom. I wanted to make something, to share something, the things I liked and that I wanted to make.

I think that's an especially important thing to remember or a question to ask yourself: what do you want from this? It's so easy to get caught up in the idea of being part of a fandom, appealing to others' ideas, being something that someone else wants. I think this ends up hurting you in the long run and warps your art and psyche.

It might feel selfish and 'lame' to be so focused on yourself but art is an expression of you. How you feel, think, etc. People will come to rally around that with time! Some of the most meaningful art(ists) to me are the ones that have things they want to say, and stories to tell.

What do you like about madcom? What are you passionate about? The characters? How they interact? How you draw them? What do you want to share with the world? What do you want to say with your art? Reflecting on things like that.

I think tumblr is the best place to explore these ideas; it's not perfect, but it is leagues better than twitter (lol) and I feel other platforms are too sterile or don't really foster interaction that much (what people say in tags or what they send as asks is really important to me). But even then I think it's crucial not to overly focus on the "numbers" or "engagement" aspect of it.

I am painfully, horrendously introverted. I don't know how to speak unless spoken to. But through this common interest, I've actually managed to make a friend or two and they mean a lot to me! For both it was just me taking the first step and sending them a message, and it ended up being reciprocated + we just started talking from there.

Keep in mind there are no guarantees. Don't lose hope or give up! Respect people's boundaries, be polite, and don't be too hard on yourself. It's just people out there, and so are you.

I'm inherently an incredibly shy person so I don't think I could ever really engage on the scale of a discord like the MPN one (I tried and failed hilariously badly), so I apologise for my lacking advice there. Maybe there are smaller-scale fandom servers? Or you could even make your own, if that was something you'd be prepared to do!

Also if you like someone's work, you'd be really surprised how much a single kind word means to them. I've found people to be really kind and friendly here, and yanno, pay the kindness forward and stuff! Whenever I try to reblog someone's stuff I try to compliment or point out something specific that I liked in the tags.

It's a slow, steady process. Try to be patient with yourself and not kick yourself with like, "aww no one likes my stuff." You will figure it out one day, I'm sure! I've been drawing for years (many of those spent not sharing it) and I am ever chasing the meaning of what I am doing.

You're making a great first step asking for help in the first place! I commend you for that :3

If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to answer them! I know a lot of what I said isn't exactly clear "do this do that" but I think it's important to have deeper reflections within yourself. Healthier in the long run, I think.

mochi i always appreciate how friendly u are, u answer so many different asks, even if u don’t agree with the content ur very understanding and are empathic towards the other person, which is a very earnest and kind thing to do. ur able to match the vibes of asks as well, making sure ppl feel hyped up, which makes them feel more confident in themselves, especially because it can be a bit of a vulnerable thing to put ur self out there. u either have an understanding of this, or are naturally inclined to support the other person, both of which reflect really well on you

(and a side note- anyone who doesn’t respect or tries to overdramatize u protecting yourself when ur obviously having some personal conflicts needs to take a deep breath, u give them a lot more understanding and gentleness, and it shows well on ur part)

all that being said as well it is up to u what u respond to and engage with, and i truly hope you don’t ever push yourself uncomfortably for any reason out of obligation. i hope that u support ur self first. it’s not a crime to prioritize yourself, i promise. (i don’t know u personally, so i would have no way of knowing if this is something you would struggle with, but just in case wanted to include it lol)

I think being kind and empathetic is just… really important y’know? and I try to be as friendly and open as I can with people because I know that it can be scary sometimes when you throw out an idea or even send a message to someone you’re not familiar with or know on a personal level. it’s that general idea of treat people how you want to be treated. with any luck, the kindness I extend to others will eventually come back around to me. I like supporting people and encouraging them <33 I guess I just try to be the person I wish I had while growing up

I wasn’t a very confident kid, didn’t have a lot of friends, and was terrified of the people around me. so I really do get and understand the vulnerability that comes with putting yourself out there. and !!! even if I don’t agree with something suggested, I try to be gentle in my approach to it. and wahhhhh thank you ;w; writing is just something that I’ve always done alongside school so it feels super natural to do the two at once :D I’ve always been like ??? weirdly in tune with my emotions and how I’m feeling (I feel REALLY strongly, it’s insane how emotional of a person I am), and yeah!!! it was partly why I pursued psych as a major. but setting boundaries was definitely not a thing I was good at while growing up ^^; I think I only started to get good at it within the last few years honestly. but I’m definitely not afraid to sit down and say that something isn’t working. I try to look at from two views: it’s not fun for me if I’m working on something I’m unhappy with, which means it’s not fun for others as well. and I only want to write things that I’m proud of and passionate about, meaning I’m motivated :D

and it helps knowing that if I restart, I can make something a lot better <3 trial and error is an important part of learning !!!

Queer books, day 30/30

Okay I have owed this post for like a while now. This was supposed to be over July 1st and I didn't do it and now it's hanging over my head like some kind of sword situation.

So like I did write this, and I do feel a little bad for promoting it here, but on the other hand it's a really good book and I have to tell people about it.

Dionysus in Wisconsin follows Ulysses Lenkov and Sam Sterling around Madison in late 1969. Ulysses is a grad student in the Department of Magic Studies, with all the regrets and avoidant behavior that entails, but also a magician and a member of the magic community in Madison, and he tries to help the people he runs into. (Also ghosts. He helps ghosts.) At the beginning, he gets a warning that something big/dangerous/bad is coming, and quickly figures out that the something is tied to Sam somehow. Sam is an otherwise very innocuous archivist who works at the State Historical Society and is involved in community theater in his spare time.

Side note, I learned that there is a woman in my aikido dojo who also works for the historical society and I feel weird about having written about it, but as she said herself, "It's a weird place."

After initial suspicion, the two of them work together to fight demons and try to figure out how to deal with the something, which turns out to be Dionysus (yes, the god) who is set to take over Sam's body.

Anyway, this was a book that I wrote because I really wanted to read a romance that didn't have a third-act breakup, where there was a lot of chemistry and vibes between the MCs, no homophobia to worry about really, and also there was like magic and creepy stuff going on in the plot, and the plot had like a satisfying conclusion to it, which doesn't always happen in romances. And then I populated the book with people who were people that I know--the kind of weird Madison people I run into every day. I have a lot of mixed feelings about Wisconsin in general (like, it's not bad if you don't mind sometimes it's -20 degrees F and there's a lot of liberals but also a lot of NIMBYism and I could fill a dictionary with the sins of the city, that's not the point), but I have come to a renewed appreciation of the place after writing about it. For example, the house Ulysses's family lives in is real, it looks like this, it's in a place that's really called Mansion Hill, and I just find it incredibly funny to let a large family of Bohemian Bolsheviks live in it.

How do you think Darius and Eberwolf met?

HELLO, HI, I LOVE THIS QUESTION (I also just remembered I have a wip of that I completely forgot about oops)

See, I find very sweet the possibility that they might have met when they were both children, even if that meant they drifted apart at some point and then reunited, but most of the time I headcanon that they met at the coven.

Despite Eberwolf becoming a Coven Head, I feel like they might have faced some prejudice because it doesn't seem like demons truly hold an equal position in society on the Boiling Isles, other than the bipedal demons, but that's still just one of three types of what seems to be an incredibly abundant race in the demon realm. Now, of course Eber has to be a bipedal demon, he can do magic and, well, he's bipedal, but he does look a lot more beastly than other bipedal demons, so I think there's a good possibility that he's part bipedal, part beast demon, which wouldn't give him a very good standing.

He's powerful, however, and bringing him in as a Coven Head is probably good for an image of "anyone can become a Coven Head" if Belos was going for the publicity angle, though mostly I imagine he must have cared about him being powerful since the Head Witches were the catalysts for the draining spell. We know how the rest of the Coven heads were though, and I don't think they particularly cared for being kind even to one of their peers.

So here's what I'm getting at: Because of all of that and the fact that Eberwolf doesn't speak the "common" language on the Isles, I think to a certain point no one was bothering with them too much, with a general attitude at the castle being like "ah, let someone else deal with that beast", more passive aggressive that straight up rude. Now, I doubt Darius was even interested on them at the beginning, too busy trying to figure out what had happened to his mentor, or being a little bit depressed, or both. He would have learned by this point that connections at the castle are a big no-no anyway.

But "he doesn't give me the time of day" is still better than "he sees me as lesser" so I like to think Eber latched onto that and kinda went "oh, it's too late, you're never getting rid of me now", and no matter how irritated Darius seemed to be, he was still irritated because of Eber's behavior, not because of his nature, so Eber was delighted 😭

I tend to think that there's scarce people who can truly understand Eberwolf, most of them getting by with written messages or rough signing, and Darius learned out of spite just so he could retort properly and then they kinda ended up being stuck together for missions because hey, why not send the one guy who can handle the Beastkeeping Head Witch? And Darius didn't even want to be friendly but now he's stuck with them and uh, oh, overtime he started getting fond of them. It was very much mutual, and once they found out they both had rebel tendencies? Oh, it was for life.

Nobody asked for this but take a fragment of the wip I mentioned at the beginning to see if I can somehow gather motivation from this to actually finish it:

“This is no beast,” He states through gritted teeth, even if the extremely pleased and sharp smile the small furry demon is sending in his direction makes him want to take back his assessment.   The scouts that are still there, watching the spectacle with what Darius guesses must be stunned expressions behind their masks. If they put as much effort on their jobs as they do on staring at him, they could have avoided this whole thing, but he’d rather extricate himself from this situation as swiftly as possible than waste his time by scolding them. “But Head Witch Eberwolf-” “-is right here," He cuts them off, watching with little amusement how they turn their heads so fast behind them that he's fairly sure at least one of them has some extra vertebrae on the neck to make for that ease of movement. "The demon you just pushed at me," He clarifies. The scouts stop moving so abruptly that Darius wonders if they were somehow petrified without him realizing. And with all their clothes staying intact instead of turning to stone alongside them. It’s impressive really, though not enough to lessen his irritation.
