oooh my sleep schedule is so fucked rn and i start school again on monday oh no
#it is currently five in the morning#rn my plan is. all nighter tonight bc i have to be up kinda early anyway so atp theres no point in going asleep#and that means i will sleep well tomorrow night#wednesday as normal so we will see#and then i have a sleepover thursday night / a party friday night AND i have to be up at 6 saturday morning#BUT THEN i will def sleep on saturday night#and prob sunday too#which means for school maybe i will have slept#this is a perfect plan i see no flaws (dying)

Thinking about how screwed up the timeline is again because canonically the timespan between Peña getting killed and Mac and Jack meeting is two weeks, but then Mac and Charlie were together for the days of a 1000 IEDs, but then we also learn Mac was in Iraq at some point and realistically, we the discord girlies have determined that Mac was only actually deployed for maybe a year but most likely less so when did he have the time to do all that stuff
#current thought is when he made the comment about Iraq#it was tying in to the unaired pilot#because Mac being captured and kept for five years probably happened in Iraq#like he was probably in Iraq first and then got transfered#but that still doesn’t explain why he was with Charlie for the 1000 IEDs#or when the 1000 IEDs even was#like it’s barely believable it happened when he was with Peña#why would they need to separate for it and then group back up after#or if it was after Peña died then I feel Mac would’ve still been pretty hung up on the whole thing when he was with Charlie#but then again#when he was with Charlie was the first time they saw the ghosts bomb#and then that loops back to breaking off from Peña just for that day#which still makes no sense#but whatever#it’s 1:06 in the morning and these are my thoughts on the matter#lailuh speaks

#TEARING my hair out this morning#mr sp ended up in a&e yesterday with an ankle injury which is looking like a completely severed tendon#which - in his line of work - is a career ending injury#i am just at my WITS END with this year. it has been unendingly shitty#my sister's post natal depression has worsened and is showing no signs of letting up. our house got sold out from underneath us.#every single immediate family member besides my parents has had a major crisis this year. my best friend lost her twins & now can't conceiv#and i spent all of yesterday at work being asked how's the business going? well great. except that it's no more set up than it was in jan#because i'm busy cleaning up the chaos and now i potentially am going to have my husband medically signed off#which fcks us in so many ways imaginable because he is so close to finishing his current job he has FIVE MONTHS LEFT and then we're free#and i can't believe he is this close to the end and now. can't walk. literally can't do anything. probably is going to need surgeries#UGH i know there's worse stuff going on in the world but 2024 has just been a steaming pile of shit and I am so exhausted by it all

My favorite kind of obsessions are ones where you have no idea how they started. Like, yes Our Flag Means Death heightened my interest in pirates, but I've been interested in pirates off-and-on my entire life and I have no clue why. Just like I have no clue why or when Cinnamoroll became my all time favorite character. Just like I have no clue when I first decided I wanted a pet spider (although I suspect that one also started when I was very young, since I used to be the household spider relocator as a child.) Some of my interests I'm like "oh yeah deciding to audition for a play on a whim is what got me interested in theatre" but other stuff just seems to have sprung up fully formed within me one day
#anyway im currently cuddling a giant Cinnamoroll plushie as i have been for the past five days#and reading a book about pirates#and i just gave my spider more water#i will carve out happiness in my life because its the only one i have#2pm in the morning

Upside: listened to Ghost inside Saint Peter's Basilica. Also learned a lot and saw a lot of stuff like statues and paintings and the sistine chapel but more importantly i listened to Ghost in St Peter's Basilica
#hazel's europe vacation#i was up at fucking Five Thirty In The Morning. we were in line to get into the vatican museum before 8am. i have been on my feet since then#it's currently quarter to noon (we sat down for lunch a little bit ago)#my feet and legs fucking hurt and i had to wear an ankle/shin length skirt the whole time because of the dress code#(my only pants that go below my knees are black yoga pants and jeans so the skirt i borrowed from adrian was actually the good outcome)#ALSO#I AM STILL GETTING OVER A SORE THROAT. THIS IS THE 3RD DAY OF IT. THE FUCKING MOLD GOT ME ON THE LAST MORNING IN THE PREVIOUS HOTEL#and i physically could not get more than 7 hours of sleep last night and i also had a minor breakdown last night. im fine though#just got tired and overwhelmed but now that the hard part for today is over i'm happy

#heck i'll even take one of the dangerous ones as long as i'm given the necessary weapons or superpowers#i just need about two weeks to worry about different problems than the ones i currently have#two days over the weekend or thanksgiving is not enough time to properly reset anything#i miss being 10 and having the leisure to just clock out and read for forty-eight hours straight if i so desired#pickle pontificates#i got up at EIGHT this morning so I could finally get stuff done and it's almost 1PM.#i have 1) drunk coffee 2) done daily commissions in genshin 3) taken a leisurely dump and 4) learned a new karaoke song#it snowed today and i just wanna go lay face down in it#but have done exactly none of the five projects i'm supposed to be working on and didn't do yesterday or friday#i have a presentation on tuesday another on wednesday and another on thursday#and a full day of school every day this week#so.

One thing I do look forward to about in-person work for the first time in four and a half years, even if it's 28 miles of travel both ways right during the worst winter months, is I can't be my father's free Chore Servant when he's too busy (read: disorganized and lazy) to sort things before he leaves for the day
#just this morning the guy calls me eight minutes before my shift starts when I'm still in bed trying to wake up and goes#'oh by the way I didn't take the dogs outside can you handle that'#this is a process that takes five minutes normally#on top of the three to five i need to get dressed use the bathroom etc#AND one of the dogs is on medication right now#add another two#also this man was standing around in his kitchen this morning at seven chatting with his employee and his gf#he ABSOLUTELY could have taken them out#fucking prick#lucky i can clock in from my phone and my current employer is none the wiser#if he tries that shit with my new job in two weeks i will literally not be home by the time he calls#in fact i'm just gonna silence my phone.
