It's not goodbye

Today I have woken up early. Earlier then usual, but on this very day of the year I have woken up early twenty years running. Honestly, this is exactly like a marathon, I endure from 9.11 of one year to 9.11 of the other, then I wake up early, I wash up, eat something (I can never remember what I am eating), I collect myself like a puzzle, cheque if all the pieces are there where they ought to be, then I walk out of the door, reminding myself, forcefully, to lick it up, then I walk to the cemetery, aotomatically, without a single consious thought in my head, just my legs know exactly where they have to go. I walk to the grave, holding roses (it is always roses, red, in bloom, he loves them, always gave them to me, every day of our thirteen year old marriage).

Today the weather is very warm for the time of year, almost like Indean summer.

"See, today is so hot, exactly as you like it, love, exactly like it".

I put down the roses, then begin to clean up. There are maples growing in this graveyard, lots of maples, and there are so many fallen leaves on the ground, like fallen warriors, most of them green and yellow, some are already red... Autamn is coming, slowly but inexaurably on, and it makes New York so beautiful and in a way mistirious too.

We were going to move from New York 21 years ago, on the 10th of September. Jake wanted to go back to Texas, start a small business of his own, buy three bulls, caws, sheep, goats... We had plans, we had love between us and life, one life for two. We never dreamed it would suddenly become two lifes for one me, just for me.

Jake worked in the World Trade Center, on the 80th floor of the one Twin where there was that famous restaurant on the highest floor. Their office contained seventeen people from all over the world, a small travel agency, but the founder had the money and ambition and she rented an office in 5he World Trading Center in New York.

Jake worked for her for five years. She promised to give him comission so he could start his business, buy the farm... It was his life's dream and it was about to come true.

But they never got out... Not one of the seventeen people never got out alive. Jake's phone was discharged and he called me from Elen's cell, just told me to keep it up, live, live for both of us, give him a modest funeral - he hoped I could do that, actually bury his body, but in case that would be impossible, he asked me to just bury an empty box, and put a plate with his name on it, here in New York. Then he gave me a choice, said I could leave New York if that suited my needs. I refused point blanc.

Since that terrible, world-crushing day, I never left New York for a day. Not even for an hour. I can't. I think I should loose my breath in any other place on this planet Earth. Here I feel Jake is near and that keeps me going, day after day after day after day...

I left the roses, cleaned up, the Sun has risen high enough, it us nearly midday, time to go, I have a job to do, cook dinner for Endy and Gillian, they will be hungry when they get home, they always come home today. But I still have an hour to walk to Ground Zero.

Taking my first steps to the exit out of the cemetery, I wonder how long the maraphon will go on, when I hear someone's phone ringing nearby. And the song it plays is Laura Poesi, It's not goodbye.

Then I know that it is unimportant how long still I have left to live, Jake is here, right here with me, at the grave, at home, in my small room where I make dolls, in the living room when we watch movies with our Daughter and our Son... And at Ground Zero all those 9.11s, twenty in a raw, and so it shall be today, he will walk with me, and listen to me talk to him.

It's not goodbye! I only have to persevere, as long as is my way on Earth. And after I have walked all the way, Jake will take my hand and I shall feel my hand laying in his, and I will see his eyes looking at me with so much warmth, as on the first day we met, and on all the days which came after, right untill 9.11, be it damned...

It's not goodbye! And I walk on, because that is our way, he walkes near, and it is a small nuisance that I can not see his eyes. Although my memory does not fail me.

Heaven: A territory on the cloud, full of tropical beaches and flower, where always bright.

The buildings are in a romantic style like, there are no territorial divisions but each archangel has it's own palace where it manages they're own angels.

Hell: divided into 7 territories, which are shared by the 7 principal overlords of hell:

-Lucifer (Pride zone); territory full of crystal buildings always kept perfect. Lucifer rules this city so that nobody can overcome it in anything.

-Satan (zone of anger); one of the largest areas since a lot of blood almost always ends up, and a city with a red sky and several very tall buildings. Satan has a personal clan to get rid of the "hassles".

-Mammon (Greed zone); the territory of great mammon is chock full of casinos, betting centers, etc. Mammon owns all the casinos in the city.

-Leviathan (zone of envy); A territory founded on the sea, it almost always rains or the weather is cloudy. Leviathan lives on the castle on top of the highest mountain in the city

-Beelzebub (throat area); this territory is full of restaurants, not very bright. Beelzebub is the owner of every restaurant in his city

Asmodeus (Lust zone); the territory of pleasure, so commonly called, and the territory of Asmodeus. It is full of strip clubs, red light clubs, etc. Asmodeus owned all the premises.

Belphegor (sloth area); in this territory when you enter it you can have drowsiness and tiredness, in fact there are clouds where it is, you can sleep peacefully, and the city more calm. But when April arrives the territory wakes up and works constantly compared to the other months, at the end of April it returns to normal.

今日の目はこんな(メイクに特にこだわり無し)。現在はLeVIA 1dayのMistIrisを着けているのだけど、自分とは着け心地の面で相性が悪かった。とにかくすぐに乾燥してしまうから目が異常に疲れるし違和感が半端ない。発色はまあまあ好きなものだから残念だけど、次は前にも使用したことのあるLARMEのマーメイドビターにする。結局のところそれが一番安定していたな。ていうか美まつ毛になりてえ(切実に)。
