#it hurts to think about‚ doesn't it kazui?

I just noticed when Kazui says "Hey, so what if I said I liked-liked you, what would you do?" in Cat, he starts out with his normal strong voice and it trails into a breathy whisper. It's like he's regretting it as he's saying it and having to force it out. He lies right before he says it to have a defence and even takes a breath in to prepare himself, but his nerves still almost get the best of him
He plays it off as something he did impulsively, as something that wasn't a big deal "I just wanted to ask, so it's out in the open. I just got a little greedy", but he's hiding his face from even the viewer in this scene. We don't get to see how this confession plays out, but the aftermath is him repeating again and again that he has to hide himself. It's almost like he's trying to repress the memory, he can't bring himself to think about it. He must've been terrified in that moment, and seeing as his glass that's firmly planted on the table is knocked to the ground later on, he was probably right to feel that way.
He's been harmed everytime he's let his true self out. In the final scene with Hinako, as he's telling her, he's putting his cigarette out on himself. He's preparing himself to be hurt again by hurting himself first.

deep cover thoughts, or: who is kotoko's victim, really?
ok. so now that we've seen the deep cover mv, it's late but before i go to bed i want to post my biggest thought/theory on it. that being?
Tumblr media
this girl is the victim that kotoko is in milgram for, and the murder we see in the warehouse is a red herring.
now. one thing about the prisoners that are grouped together is that each duo appears, largely, to have a direct murder and an indirect murder in it.
haruka is seen directly killing in his mvs; yuno's murder is an abortion, something so indirect many people don't even consider it to be such. muu is clearly seen directly stabbing rei in her mvs; fuuta's victim dies indirectly due to him starting online backlash against her. whatever shidou is doing to his patients appears to be pretty direct, while mahiru's boyfriend seems to have died indirectly due to having killed himself. kazui is in the same indirect boat as mahiru with hinako's apparent suicide; meanwhile amane is shown in purge march to have directly attacked and killed her mother.
with one duo, up until now, having been an apparent exception.
we can see these groupings clearly in the first anniversary art with all the prisoners together:
Tumblr media
all the direct murderers are on one side of the table, and their indirect counterpart on the other. all the patterns outlined above, we can see here.
mikoto is on the direct murderers' side of the table, and this makes clear sense with what we see in MeMe's opening shots: as vague as mikoto's mvs can be sometimes, we definitely see him hit that guy with the baseball bat pretty explicitly.
and kotoko? kotoko, as his counterpart, is on the indirect side of the table. this seemed weird, because from what we knew of her murder in harrow... we see her track a guy down into a warehouse and kill him pretty directly. it seems like these two are an exception. but now, we have deep cover, and... are they really both in milgram for a direct murder?
Tumblr media
it seems like something bad is happening in this shot, judging by the girl's expression. what do we see right after? kotoko leaving this girl behind, walking past her. she's looking for her next target, and she doesn't have time to play around right now. only... i think it goes wrong. i think kotoko leaving this girl when she does is a mistake, and that her disregard for the girl leads to her getting hurt and dying somehow. after all... the images on the prisoner cards appear to correspond to the murder location. and kotoko's...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
kotoko's looks an awful lot more like this than it does like that warehouse.
it seems like this girl idealizes kotoko an awful lot for having saved her. maybe she tries to follow kotoko, but something happens. maybe she gets caught by whoever it is that kotoko is trying to hunt down... and maybe this time, she doesn't make it out okay.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Shidou's gonna snap at Amane? Like ive seen so many people taking his "it's my job as an adult to teach you that throwing a temper tantrum isn’t going to make everything go your way" line as indication that he's going to hurt her in some way and like?? What, is he not allowed to be annoyed that she's literally threatening him? That doesn't mean he's gonna beat her up. He literally follows this by saying "If it’s a test of endurance you want, I’m happy to oblige." Aka "I'll continue as I have been." I don't think he's going to do anything to her. In fact, it'd be more in character if he let her kill him. Which, with the way he's making sure theres someone else to handle Mahiru + the kids if he's not there (Yuno / Kazui), it's totally possible he's preparing to die or be gravely injured by her.
I've seen a few people dismiss Amane's threats towards him because "if he can't defend himself against a child, thats on him" and I- Firstly, the victim blaming mentality on that one is baffling. Secondly, has Milgram taught you nothing about underestimating children?? And finally, Shidou still sees Amane as a kid, he's not gonna fight back. Do you know how hard a fight is when you're trying not to hurt the other person, who has a weapon and also will not hold back like you are? I'd imagine it's pretty difficult.
The Shidou hate has gotten so unreal its almost funny. Like the people saying he doesn't actually care about / value the opinions of children. As though he doesn't go out of his way to ask Muu how Haruka (a child) is doing because he's worried about him. As though he doesn't have two timeline conversations about how he believes children are hope for the future. As though he doesn't admit to being upset that Amane doesn't like him, and then proceed to get sentimental on her birthday. Not to mention that he says he specifically wants a child like Es to tell him he's guilty, instead of the law.
And people saying he doesn't care about Mahiru / is being forced to help her. Meanwhile he's literally risking his life to do so, and has no reason to listen to anyone telling him to if he didn't genuinely want to. Someone said something about his smoke break with Kazui showing that he didn't value Mahiru's health because he was... taking a break?? And that if she was in such dire health that he couldn't handle much else in the prison, he shouldn't be taking that break. Even though we've seen that Mahiru doesn't need to be monitored 24/7, and has Yuno to help even if she did. Because news flash, people need to take breaks in order to function? That's the point of the timeline, Kazui telling him to rest and not overwork himself.
I just. take psychic damage every time someone grabs a random Shidou line/action and twists it to make him seems like a selfish asshole. Like by all means, you can hate Shidou, I don't particularly care for him myself. But at least hate him for reasons that are actually canon to his character.
Its likely something will happen with Shidou in T3 that makes him seem more guilty. Thats just how Milgram is, he seems really innocent now so they'll sprinkle in a lil guilty to keep it balanced. But Milgram also doesn't switch up characters out of the blue, every new reveal is led up to. I'll be genuinely surprised and probably kinda annoyed if he ends up hurting Amane or Mahiru purposefully.

“Age doesn't matter,” 22
Tumblr media
Dad!Bakugo x F!Babysitter!Teacher!Reader
Part 21
You just rolled your eyes at him and handed him the clothes you were holding. "Just wear these on. Let me know if it fits." You simply said and walked away.
Katsuki only raised an eyebrow.
Deep inside, you were exploding. His body was built by gods. All the biceps and the muscles, the thin waist, and the scars add up to his look.
But Y/n just shook her head to erase those thoughts and headed straight to her kitchen. She was still clueless about the kiss.
Does that mean Katsuki feels something for her? Does he like her? What made him fancy someone like her? So simple like her? Compared to him, you're a civilian who knows nothing but to teach and raise a kid.
You don't even know what to think anymore. Why? Because you don't want to hurt yourself. You basically don't want to assume and yet here you are, jumping to one thing and another.
---
"I didn't expect you to come so I only prepared dinner for myself." You said as you placed a bowl of hot noodles in front of him, along with two pieces of cheese bread. "I'm sorry. This is all I got for now."
"I came unexpectedly. Don't apologize," Katsuki said while watching you putting all the food on the table.
“Very unexpected, if you ask me.” You mumbled as you sat down in front of him. “Thank you for the food.” You said and started digging in.
Katsuki was staring at you though. More like watching. He was watching you enjoy hot noodles. Of course, it’s the perfect food for when it’s raining.
You noticed him watching you though. You looked at him and blinked. “Don’t you like the food?” You asked after swallowing the food. “I’m sorry, I-,”
“I said stop apologizing.” Katsuki tsked and starts slurping the noodles.
It was quiet for a moment, just the sound of thunder, television, chewing and slurping can be heard. Once done, you were surprised when Katsuki brought the bowls and utensils to the kitchen sink and even started washing.
“K-katsuki!” You stuttered as you called out. “What are you doing?!” You basically almost yelled while hurrying to his side.
“What do you think I’m doing?” Katsuki said in a ‘isn’t it obvious tone.’
“I- what?” You blinked. “Nevermind that. Why are you doing that? You’re a guest!” You said slightly scowling. You tried pushing him away from the sink, but he won’t budge.
“I won’t be, after what happened.” He simply said and was about to rinse the dishes.
This made you remember what happened earlier. The kiss.
“Cat got your tongue?” Katsuki smirked when he never heard you utter a word.
“I don’t want t-to talk about it.” You blushed, looking away.
“I hope that implies that I like you and wanted you to be my girlfriend,” His voice suddenly went serious while focusing on rinsing.
“E-eh?” You stuttered, once again.
“Can you stop that? Fucking reminds me of Deku.” Katsuki tsked. “And I’m serious.” Kastuki added.
“I know you are.” You quietly responded. “But aren’t you going to ask me out?” You added quietly.
Unfortunately, he heard it. “I’m fucking desperate to fix things with you.” He spoke. “Hell, I’m not even thinking straight. I just went with what I feel right.” While speaking, he paused on his movement to look at you.
The way he looked at you took your breath away. It was different from the way he looked at you before. Those aren’t the eyes who used to glare at you whenever you tried cooking dinner at his home. This right here is genuine.
You were speechless.
“Tomorrow, I’ll take you out after my shift.” Katsuki simply said. “I’ll leave Kazui with mom.”
“Can I have a say in here?”
---
You're anxious. It's been a while since you've been on a date. Heck, you can't even remember when it was.
Your co-teachers are asking if you've been feeling okay and that you're acting weird. Who wouldn't be? Dynamight just messaged you he'll pick you up after his shift. Hell, he will intentionally go to Kazui's echo, not because he needs to pick up Kazui, but because he'll pick you up.
And due to how anxious you are, you actually had a hard time picking up what to wear this morning. You wanted to look casual yet elegant. Why? Because you're going on a date with the number 2 hero and you want to look presentable because you know that cameras will be about. So here you are, wearing a dark green over-knee dress along with two-inch black wedge heels.
Your day went on smoothly as you taught, guided, and watched your students. Some even commented that you look extra beautiful today which flatters you. Until the class ended. Kids bid you goodbye as they departed the building, on their way to their parents who were waiting for them outside the school.
Your heart was thumping rapidly. Your eyes are scrutinizing around you, searching for the familiar vehicle which thankfully there's none yet.
After waving goodbye to the students, you went back to your homeroom where you saw Kazui fixing his things.
"Kazui-chan." You called out.
Kazui looked at you, blinking curiously. “Yes, Miss Y/n?” He asked.
“U-um.” You stuttered. “Do you know who will be picking you up today?” You asked as you fixed your things as well.
“Well, papa said Uncle Eiji will drop me off at Grandma since he said he’ll be busy,” Kazui explained, finally zipping close his bag.
‘Then I guess the date is canceled?’ You thought to yourself.
“Miss Y/N?” Kazui called you out.
“Oh!” You internally slap yourself and look back to Kazui. “Yes, sweetie?”
“Are you and Papa okay now?” Kazui asked.
This caught you off guard of course. You didn’t expect him to be this observant, especially between Katsuki and you. “W-we’re always okay. Why do you ask?” You lied.
“You never visit us anymore.” Kazui pouted. “I only see you here at school but not in our home anymore.. I-I thought Papa and you had an argument.”
“Kazui-chan..” You mumbled and went closer to Kazui, kneeling. You gently touched his cheek and brushed your thumb, caressing him gently. “You don’t need to worry about us.” You smiled.
“Tomorrow, I’ll visit you, would you like that?”
Kazui suddenly beamed. “Really?!”
You giggled seeing his reaction. “Yes, sweetie.”
“Yay!!”

Passage of time in Milgram is very weird and hard to understand. Although for some characters there are some visibile changes like hair growth and, despite that in timeline conversation they celebrate their birthdays, their age is the same. One might say that it is just a choice made my creators, simply because in TV shows or games characters usually maintain their age. However, at the beginning of the trial 2 they updated the profile, so wouldn't it make sense to also change it, considering that Es is sleeping for a few months and how long the trials themselves last...? An aspect that seems to be more than once pointed out, which indicates that the time is not passing much different than ours.
"Yuno: Good morning, Guard-san. My name is Kashiki Yuno… Did you remember that properly?"
"Fuuta: …Kajiyama Fuuta. It’s been a while, Guard. What were you doing until now..?"
"Muu: I’m Kusunoki Muu. Guard-san, it’s been a while, hasn’t it?"
"Shidou: I’m Kirisaki Shidou. It’s been a while, Es-kun. While you were gone, a lot of things happened."
"Mahiru: …Shiina Mahiru. It’s been a long time, Es-kun… I wanted to see you…"
"Kazui: Good morning. (Laughs) Guard-kun is a sleepyhead, aren’t you? I’m Mukuhara Kazui. Do you remember now?"
"Mikoto: Ah, Guard-kun. It’s been a while. Ow, ow ow… My head hurts…"
Tumblr media
Jackalope also points out that the MVs are posted at the same time when Es extracts them.
Merch is also a good indicator that states that their age is the same.
Tumblr media
Amane and Es didn't grow up further, them being the ones for we should see more visibile changes, the only thing different is the lenght of the hair for some characters.
But hair is something that grows really fast, so considering that Milgram began like three years ago, since the beginning of the first trial and now, their hair should be more longer! I doubt that many of them considered cutting it or cared enough about it especially the guilty prisoners...
Because the characters don't seem to suffer much physical changes, a question arose in my mind. If that's the case, than doesn't it mean that their bodies are also healing very, very slow?
It is over a year since the beginning of the second trial and Shidou admits that he has to constantly take care of Mahiru.
Tumblr media
Which seems quite odd, doesn't it? Considering her injuries, if not fully recovered, Mahiru should at least feel better, something that doesn't seem to be the case...
Neck sprain -> time to recover (4-6 weeks usually, a severe one 3 months)
Tumblr media
Rib fractures -> 12 weeks without fixation, six months or one year after surgery
Tumblr media
Fractured arm -> 12 weeks with still some discomfort
Tumblr media
Compression fractures -> 8 weeks or more if surgery is needed
Tumblr media
Lacerations -> dependes a lot of how bad the wound is, but most of them heal earlier than 3 months
Tumblr media
Mahiru should have been much better, but she isn't, despite that most injuries require 3-4 months for her to have a better condition...
Fuuta, who Shidou doesn't mention a lot, despite also suffering from injuries, I don't think is doing any better. Although, in his case, most of the injuries require surgery, something that Shidou can't currently do.
Orbital fracture and retinal detachment -> requires surgery in most cases
Tumblr media
Chest injuries depending on how severe they are can heal in 6 weeks. However, considering that Fuuta is in a lot of pain, with how difficulty he is sometimes speaking, makes me believe that he needs surgery even here.
Tumblr media
What makes me worried is how, despite receiving care from Shidou, especially Mahiru, there aren't a lot of changes in their condition during the trial. It's like their bodies can't heal, they are stuck in time. Which will surely be a big problem for the next trial, if someone else gets injuried... It also makes me wonder if Mahiru and Fuuta will truly be better at the beginning of the next trial...

I only saw this illustration now, and the first thing I see people saying is that it looks like a funeral and that the way they hold their flowers might pertain to how they feel about their victim. This makes sense but is also horrifying if we break it down:
Yuno, Mahiru and Shidou are carefully holding it in both hands. Yuno is cradling it like a small child (ouch) while Mahiru and Shidou are holding it close to their chest. Like you would a lover.
Take the above into consideration and the fact that Kazui is not only holding it with one hand, but looks like he's ready to toss it hurt a lot more. Sure, he didn't love Hinako, but I was still under the impression that he cared for her.
Speaking of tossing, Amane's has already dropped and is lying on the floor behind her, implying she has no more respect for her victim. Which makes sense both from the horrible abuser angle and the "went-back-on-your-beliefs" angle.
Haruka also looks ready to drop his, holding it upside-down with some petals already having fallen from it. I've never really thought about how Haruka viewed his victim before and this isn't really giving me a good read on it either, but I do find it immensely interesting.
Kotoko is holding hers the lowest but doesn't seem intent on dropping it. She hates her victim, of course, but doesn't want to let go of that hatred. Of that anger. She'll remember him, even just to remember what "real evil" looks like.
Mikoto is grasping it with both hands in what I can best describe a "normal" way. Like a corporate funeral you have to attend but didn't know the person so you're just trying to be polite. After all, he didn't know who he killed, so how is he supposed to have an opinion on them?
Muu is a strange one. She's holding it behind her back but doesn't seem about to discard it like Amane did. And with her pose it makes her look like a nervous teen about to confess her love. Maybe she did hold some romantic feelings for Rei after all.
Fuuta's is tossed over his shoulder; only holding it with one hand but that hand is holding tight. He's also the only one holding it at face-level. I think he feels a closeness with his victim that the others do not; a similarity in their situation.
Also, sidenote: once again the boys were robbed and just get uniform suits where the girls get to get different outfits (I have the same problem with the birthday arts). Also what is Es wearing? That doesn't look modern to me and looking up "traditional Japanese funeral wear" doesn't get me anything that looks like that. So if somebody knows, please tell me! kani-miso has informed me it is a Buddhist monk outfit; thanks so much!

I will say one thing it's always so impressive to me how most analysis of Futa's behavior end up playing directly into his mentality and on his terms while seemingly being unaware that they are doing so.
By that I mean most fans tend to met Futa on his level because it's the only level they know. They only know how to critique him from his playing field because they've failed to recognize his playing field are the spaces they frequent every day.
I think this is due to no one being comfortable with critiquing the issues Futa and Mu as a pair represent. So their stories get reduced to bullying instead of the structural and societal issues that incentivize the mindsets they have.
Usually analysis of their behavior never gets further than Mu is a bully but it's fine because she had a hard time as well what was going on directly impacted her, Futa is a bully but it's wrong because nothing these people were doing ever impacted him personally he just inserted himself into the situation so that he could feel superior.
The level of proximity between Futa and his victims makes it easy for people to judge how rational his actions were.
Because to an extent a lot of people consciously or subconsciously recognize if something isn't impacting them they don't have to get involved or up in arms about it. Many have realized that just because someone is doing something wrong doesn't mean they have to swoop in and be a hero.
This is why his takeaway from his guilty verdict was this,
Q.02 What do you think of Haruka?
Futa: I can’t afford to be worrying about other people at the moment. Anyway, he's not a little kid.
Q.04 Would you make the same mistake again?
Futa: I don’t think so- I don’t think I could take this kind of pain again.
Q.18 Do you regret anything?
Futa: I do. What was I even doing that stuff for in the first place? What other people are doing doesn’t have any impact on me.
It's better to sit back and do nothing than try to do something then wind up getting hurt too. Other people are hurting who cares I'm trying to take care of me. They need to figure it out on their own. What happens to others isn't my problem I need to worry about myself. It doesn't matter if what someone else is doing is wrong, harmful, or can end in their death I shouldn't intrude, mind my business, and take care of me first and foremost.
That's right. You know those people who just wanna convince themselves- So, they intrude on other people's affairs even though it's not their place?
20/05/26
Kazui: Ahh, this old man’s gonna go and smoke in the corner a bit. I checked with the guard, and apparently we can use our free time however we want. Man, I’m glad this place is so relaxed.
Shidou: ……! Are…… we allowed to smoke……?
Kazui: Huh…… Shidou-kun, was it? You smoke too? That’s kinda unexpected.
Shidou: Ah, yes. ……I only started fairly recently though. I’ll go with you…… to smoke.
Futa: Ahh, those old men really stink of tobacco. Are they idiots or something? They should know better at that age…… If they really can’t cope without relying on something like that then I worry about their sanity.
Yuno: ……it doesn’t really matter does it? They’re making sure they’re staying far away from the people who don’t smoke. Personally I quite like the smell anyway.
Futa: Huh!? What are you talking about? It means you’re more likely to get sick, it costs money, it’s a nuisance for everyone around you, what’s even the point. Our tax money is being wasted going towards paying for that, you know? If you were really smart, you’d know not to smoke at all!
Yuno: I see~
I despise them. That's what I was saying. They only do that to make themselves feel better, don't they? Those people don't actually end up doing anything.
Q.09 What do you think about the first trial’s results?
Futa: You and me are the same, aren’t we?
You and you, throwing around rules for fun, hoisting up morality and feeling good. (Backdraft)
Don’t weigh me measure me against your morality. - Who needs your self-righteous pardon? (Tear Drop)
Just shut it, will you? You know it all - I ***'t *e b**h**ed... (I won't be bothered. or I can't be bothered.)
Q.16 Do you have anyone you hate?
Yuno: People who like to lecture you.
21/07/05 (Mu’s Birthday)
Mu: Yuno. Don’t you have something to say to me?
Yuno: Huh? To you? Me? ……ahh, uh? Your birthday, right? Happy birthday~
Mu: How mean… Since it’s my birthday, I really wish you’d said something before I had to come and tell you myself.
Yuno: Right, right, I’m sorry. I’ll be more careful in future~ Later! Haha… things have become even more of a bother… ……so was that Mu-chan’s real personality, then? It’s probably because the guard did something, right?
22/07/05 (Mu’s Birthday)
Mu: Hey~~~ Isn’t everyone a bit gloomy lately? I get that this situation isn’t ideal, but you’re really bringing down the mood for my birthday.
Yuno: Haha, surely even you can tell now’s not really the time for something like that right. Nobody’s really in the mood, or rather nobody has time time to deal with something like that.
Mu: Boo, how boring. You seem to be free, you can celebrate for me. Go on, celebrate.
Yuno: Wow, what a pain. I’m reading the atmosphere properly and keeping quiet. Well, you just go and have fun with Haruka. In the corner somewhere so you’re out of everyone’s way.
We are just the same. (It's Not My Fault)
I see~ I’ll be more careful in future~ Later! Wow, what a pain.
Futa and Mu both impose themselves on others.
They insert themselves into situations they shouldn't be in for attention. They make drama where there is none. They do it to feel good about themselves. All because they were bored.
So to me when people meet the prisoners on their level and take everything they've presented at face value they're extending them a lot of good faith. Good faith I frankly believe none of them deserve. Whenever someone talks about the situations they present in their music videos regardless of how much these characters are shown to lie the authenticity of their recounts are rarely ever questioned.
For example with Futa none of the incidents illustrated to us in Bring It On are scrutinized fully.
Except possibly the incident with replicating the stores hat which is something that is mostly scrutinized for how far he took the incident and not on the basis of the incident itself. In fairness with two of the incidents, the hat one and the one with the person who laid down in freezer both parties took pictures of themselves doing the thing and posted those online of their own volition.
Yet, with the incident involving the teacher Futa took that picture.
There's discussion around taking pictures with out the consent of the individual of course. Yet this is meeting Futa on his level. People are playing into Futa's way of thinking by trying to find a more ethical way to create a callout post. When Bring It On implies in a few ways that Futa only cared about getting that teacher fired.
The music vide even starts with him complaining about the teachers at his school and his university classes in general. The first tweets we're greeted with in Bring It On is him complaining about school,
Tumblr media
流@しずくと読みます: School work has really been a pain lately… I don’t want to type another word るめりえ@D_T: Know any good games? キマ注意@ダークトラ…: Nothing’s happened lately, it’s boring まっすMAN(強化中): …wait, it’s Monday? Which means uni today??? I haven’t done my homework… Storm Pazuzu(=Futa): A L L M Y C L A S S E S A R E S O D U L L . W A S T E O F M Y S C H O O L F E E S Storm Pazuzu(=Futa): Everyone else there is an idiot so it’s boring YU-TA:Let’s go to the arcade then!!!! Storm Pazuzu(=Futa): The people in charge here are shit. I could do a much better job Avyxs@D_T: Uni is so much fun! It can be a pain depending on your subjects but my friends and teachers are hilarious
He's still heading to the arcade during this exchange. He seems to be leaving school. So he can't be talking about the service at the arcade yet.
Tumblr media
They even transition to the arcade center when he arrives.
Tumblr media
So he's still very much talking about school when he says the people in charge here. When he gets to the arcade they're talking about a completely different thing.
I'm not understanding how his music video can starts off showing the audience him complaining about his classes being boring and his teachers being stupid. Yet when the same audience is shown him initiating an attack for the first time against a faculty member at the school he just complained about it goes unquestioned.
Instead people accept his framing of events immediately.
Similarly to how many would accept any other callout that they see online without question. It's fine to discuss the girl not consenting to allowing her photo to be used. The fact that he posted an individual in appears to be a vulnerable moment without their consent. Yet, we don't even know if this is what he was presenting it to be and there's more evidence that it wasn't then it was.
Certainly this teacher may have been committing sexual harassments or misconduct and Futa just got super lucky he was in the area and able to get a picture to bring attention to it online under some anonymity. Yet, if this was really the case why not just report it? Why didn't anyone else in the area hear or say anything. Why do students from the same university as him respond with fear, shock, and confusion?
♡MANA♡: Mr Inoue……? That’s scary……
Why doesn't the girl in the photo he provided ever step forward for it to be taken down or say anything about the incident? Especially if it's already reached other students at the university who know this teacher by name and have probably seen her.
Storm Pazuzu(=Futa): Please spread this around. Some sexual harassment I came across from a university teacher. Don’t think he realised someone was watching lmao. Please report to the uni 恐縮です: I’m amazed you were able to get a photo 自由(ちきゅうじん) My uni is done for now wwww ♡MANA♡: Mr Inoue……? That’s scary…… io :Sexual harassment is pretty much the worst thing a person can do. How are you gonna explain this??? 毒門第一号: Oof lmao she looks like she’s gonna be sick kakikukeko@ド: What an idiot, you should just (…) already まっすMAN(強化中): Super gross, thanks for exposing a lowlife sexual harasser AAA@DT: Has he got no shame!!! Go to hell!!! That’s so gross!!! るめりえ@D_T: What a fucking pig, that’s just gross lmao
I'm fine with walking down this bridge with anyone willing to interrogate this.
Let's go over the facts that would make this situation true. Firstly, Futa would have to have been the only one in that area that day. Something incredibly unlikely because this is a college on a school day. He also conveniently shows a map of the floor he's on with all the people on it.
Tumblr media
Including himself as the blue arrow. Yet there could be more people on this floor and these are just the people he knows about given as many will be able to see here the people he sees in the room aren't on the map. So basically the green dots are more than likely Futa's friends at school or people who he associates with online who go to the same college. I speculate this because when he's complaining about uni he's immediately invited out to the arcade by someone else online.
So he wasn't just friends with these people online but irl as well. Which would explain why some people are on the map and not others.
This is the ground floor of a university on a school day. There are fourteen people on this floor outside of Futa himself. Two in the room right next to the one this incident takes place in.
Tumblr media
None of those people heard or saw anything? They just never left those rooms after Futa went to class. No one had to go the same route he was going to get to their classes. I don't know like one of the two people in the hallway behind him.
They were just going elsewhere I suppose that's convenient. Though maybe they all wanted this teacher fired if they are affiliated with Futa it would explain his glitched voice line trial one,
"Everyone else was having fun weren't they? What about them? Why is it just me?"
Well, I guess no one could have done or heard anything besides him. That's why no one else from that school corroborates what he was saying in all of those replies we're shown.
Alright, that may be possible.
I do have a question though... If this was really the teachers intent by isolating this student why was door wide open? Like not even cracked just ajar making it more likely for them to a be overheard and get seen.
Tumblr media
Like he couldn't close the door? Also we only see one half of this room which from the map we're given appears to be quite large. How do we even know that no one else was in here? He never shows us the count of people within this room specifically. Even again he does show counts for everywhere else. However, as I just said those dot's may just represent his team members within the school.
As these are the same dots that indicate his comrades within the game map as well,
Tumblr media
So there's that. Didn't think I would be proving that Futa had so many real life friends through this but uh fuck it we ball- Either way you know who is angled perfectly to see the rest of the room and not just the side we're seeing?
Futa.
I mean not to quote Blue Lock but if we all bothered to pick up a book on how the human eye works we wouldn't keep falling for this shit now would we?
But fuck all that- Again let's look at what this bridges foundation is.
This bridge we're walking wants me to believe that this teacher had the intent of sexually harassing a student, got her into an isolated/unused room within the college during school hours- At a time that they are just starting in fact, then did not close the fucking door to said room. He just had zero concern of anyone walking to class at that time or even just needing to use that room at all? A time he would know there are classes because he fucking works there?
That's the bridge we're walking and it's mighty flimsy.
I gotta admit that bridge is as sturdy as Jenga tower right before the last move. But let's keep walking it regardless we haven't fallen yet. Because for this to actually collapse we would need a much sturdier alternative bridge to cross over to because I refuse to die on this one.
So, what we know is Futa had complaints about his school environment. He thought his classes were boring, beneath him and implied the people in charge were inept at their jobs. Considering all of that I feel like he viewed this incident more as a way to get rid of a problem of his own than actually help someone else or do the right thing.
It wouldn't be a stretch to me for him to just not like that teacher. Beyond that it wouldn't a leap to believe that he may have assumed and jumped to the conclusion he wanted instead of fully checking out the situation.
It certainly wouldn't be the first thing he has lied about. Though to be honest I personally don't believe he's in here for any of the things he showed us and like Kotoko he is deflecting by highlighting situations where he is more likely to look in the right than in the wrong. This is something both of their first trial songs have in common.
Personally I don't believe that someone as online as Futa has only engaged with three callouts. Though I also believe that Milgram is highlighting the instances he had the most prominent roles in. I just believe he did something offline as well which goes past just taking pictures of things. Something this online incident and the hat girls have in common.
In both instances Futa was the one to take the picture,
Tumblr media
Now, I've made it clear I don't think Futa was responsible for the doxing. Yet there is precedence for him to do something like this. Given that he did post the picture of this teacher and student.
It would make it easier to believe that he would dox someone because that's technically what he's doing here. Releasing this teacher's face and place of work. All while telling people to call in and report him for sexual misconduct that we have questionable proof of at best.
It wouldn't be hard for people to believe that Futa would do this again with the hat girl after this situation. This is another one of the reasons I believe it was highlighted as well. It gives a good idea of Futa's online reputation and contextualizes the aftermath of the hat girl incident a lot more.
Lending more credence to his statement in Backdraft of,
"Me, the result of blame-shifting, no, can’t find that funny." - "Flames closing in, are both sides losers?"
It makes sense to me that a lot of people were willing to believe that he would take things this far again because he already had. This would make it much easier for another party to shift all of the blame on him because he'd already have a bad reputation. It wouldn't matter if it was true or not as long as it made sense to the most people.
We're also never told how the situation with the teacher resolves. It looks like Futa had won but the teacher was only knocked down. It would be more accurate to say he was stunned for the moment. Unlike the last incident he didn't die. So, this incident may have come back to bite Futa in the ass too. Especially if it was proven later that what he said wasn't true. Even more so if that happened around the same time the incident with the middle schooler was at it's peak.
Now do I think this incident is important to Futa's murder not exactly. I don't feel like it's the most important thing. I think it contextualizes how he wound up in this position where it was easy for someone to convince others that he's the sort of person who would dox a student. Regardless of if he did or didn't I personally think he didn't and there are more allusions to it not being him who did that than there are of it being him. Which I've gone over in other posts.
However the fact remains that Futa is suffering the consequences of his past actions even before he gets into Milgram. If he had never done this with this teacher and gotten into the habit of taking pictures like these maybe things wouldn't have escalated to this point. If he didn't get into the pattern of doing anything for just a fleeting bit of attention maybe none of this would have happened. In my eyes though none of this is murder it's negligence and a complete disregard of people whom he shared a space with.
It's a disregard his schools staff, classmates, and online peers who he viewed himself as better than in some way. I personally feel like trying to find a way that he was somehow morally flawed on his own standards makes it appear as though there was a right way for him to do these things. That there's a morally correct way to make a callout post and broach this behavior.
It's the same as him going,
"Now let’s be reasonable. We are the ones that blow the horn for justice. We will punish you down, this is a warning."
But the bitter truth of the matter is their is no completely peaceful way to have a conflict. There is no one hundred percent moral way to bring a wrong to light. There are always going to be people who act with ill intent to take advantage of the modern tools that have been made to discuss the exploitation and abuse of others.
There are always going to be people who lie who know for certain that their are going to be good people out their who instead of fact checking them will go better safe than sorry. Because they don't want someone else possibly getting hurt. People who lie bank on people who care about others doing just that so they can keep getting away with it. We saw this with Shidou trial two,
"There are lives that need safeguarding- So hey, prolong my life, I’m indispensable."
People who are intent on doing harm will always be secure in knowing people who care will want to avoid that harm. This is something that some individuals will always be willing to use to their advantage. They know that their opposition doesn't want anyone getting hurt and leverages that over their heads.
So, when people make allegations like the one's Futa did about people in positions of authority,
Tumblr media
They're taken at face value.
People are treated as though they're guilty until they can prove themselves innocent. Because no one likes when it feels like individuals are being taken advantage of. Regardless of if they're a student or small business owner. When people see someone being put through a difficult time for no reason or ripped off it upsets them.
They immediately think,
"That's not fair. That's not right."
Something that tends to outweigh the question of is this true. Especially in an age where so much information is thrown at people daily. It's easy for us to fill in the blanks and go well of course another teacher is a pervert. He probably didn't close the door because he's just so used to getting away with at this point. He probably did it while classes were going on and people were walking around the halls because he was just so certain he'd never face any consequences. He didn't think that some good samaritan would be walking past and get proof of his transgression and share so now he can't get away with this anymore. See this is the problem with the school system they just keep hiring teachers like this disgusting glad to know now though.
We don't question the how, why, when, or where anymore. It doesn't matter that there's a giant crack in this door and this is at a
Tumblr media
It doesn't matter that the door is in the shot. It doesn't matter how he managed to take this picture. Why the door was cracked when this took place. Because most people would rather engage in good faith and assume that no one would lie about something like that. Than assume Futa who has shown every reason he has to lie and misrepresent facts about the faculty in his school was in fact just blatantly being dischonest. That he saw an instance that would look bad out of context snapped a picture of it and posted it online.
From an audience perspective we actually have more reasons to believe Futa than disbelieve him here. For one the other two instances covered in his music video are represented fairly. The two others he calls out took those pictures of themselves and posted them of their own volition. That's what they decided to do with their day and there's no debating that.
So, since this guy was put in here as well most of the audience is primed to believe well we saw her admit to making the hat, the first guy posted that himself so why would Futa ever lie about any of these cases. Sure he took the picture himself but that doesn't mean he fabricated the entire incident I mean why would a teach need to be that close to a student anyway. He's practically pinning her against the wall. They're talking near a bookshelf in the photo he's not even touching her.
The thing we see before this is Futa vision. The thing online is actually just the fucking picture. That is the picture in reality.
Tumblr media
Futa actually has no way of seeing this from the angle it's presented to us in because again he's outside the room and he never goes in it.
I mean not to quote Blue Lock but if we all bothered to pick up a book on how the human eye works we wouldn't keep falling for this shit now would we?
We literally see his perspective of the incident from the picture he posted. Yet each time this particular case is engaged in it's always under the framing that Futa is telling the truth. When this motherfucker introduced himself by lying about not committing a crime to begin with!
Q.09 Do you want to apologise to the person you killed?
Futa: I didn’t kill anyone. Listen to me- Aren’t you supposed to be a guard?!
To me taking everything the prisoners present at face value isn't always the most helpful. Sometimes it could be lowering oneself to seeing things their way. When in honesty there is no ethical way to make a callout post. Even if what Futa was presenting was the truth regardless of how little since it makes when one takes in the whole environment presented to us.
At a point it becomes less of an individualistic issue and turns into a systemic one. The fact of the matter is even with evidence many sexual crimes remain unresolved and pursuing them can further isolate and retraumatize the victims of them. A lot of sexual misconduct by teachers and students within universities goes overlooked everyday. Just as often as bullying gets overlooked.
Sometimes the only time that victims of such crimes can get justice or perpetrators be held accountable is through the means illustrated here.
It sucks but that is one of the many realities of the modern era. The reality of the power of the internet and news outlets.
Something Yuno touches upon way before Futa comes onto the scene.
For example, news outlets. They always make a big fuss about adultery, inappropriate comments, immodesty and so on, right? And then they start criticizing the people who make an appearance there. Don't you think it's all so ridiculous? There's no end to how much people punish one another outside of the law.
Tumblr media
"Found one…! Countdown till I make you say sorry!"/"Don’t you think it’s wonderful to control them with my gentle sting."
The mindset that allowed Mu to get away with all her mistreatment of her peers just because she was bored. Is the same mindset Futa and Kotoko use as an excuse to do the things that they do. Mu takes advantage of the fact that most schools do not intervene when it comes to matters between others students such as harassments and ostracization to have fun at other people's expense fearing that eventually one day she'll be on the receiving end of everything she's dished out.
Meanwhile Futa and Kotoko weaponize the frustration of the masses at the ills of society to excuse their own mistreatment of others regardless of the size of the transgression. It's easy to discuss Futa's victims more than the rest of the casts because people involved in the series see individuals like them every day online.
Those sorts of stories are common place in the environment fans tend to frequent. It's easy not to question any of Futa's allegations because the internet has a guilty until proven innocent mentality. So people take everything Futa and Kotoko present in their stories as fact without a second thought. Because why would someone lie about that and of jeez but what if it is true.
Never really realizing that's exactly where bad actors want people to meet them at. Bad actors expect considerate people to care more about the possible harm than the chances of them being dishonest. Because allegations like this can and have ruined the lives of many people who never did anything.
Because people who act in bad faith don't care about the problems they discuss they only care about it getting the right people in the wrong spots. Something highlighted with Mikoto someone who comes out the gate consistently complaining about people making up things about him to ruin his reputation and possibly make him lose his job.
It's not a topic that Milgram has shied away from. It's definitely not a topic that Yamanaka has shied away from either. In Caligula Effect there's a whole side quest where you literally have to prove a student is lying about a teach committing sexual harassment/assault. I'm not saying this to say that's definitely the case.
We don't know anything about this teacher and at best this is simply a petty thing that Futa did seemingly because he was just bored like Mu. I'm just saying when someone starts complaining about their classes being boring, a waste of money, and their teachers being shit than posts something like that maybe question if they may have some vested interest in doing that.
I still have mutiple other posts to do but no one can say I've forgotten my roots talking a shit ton about Futa.

MILGRAM T3 Wildcard predictions
Theories are fun but I'm also a daydreamer, so I invite you to see my wildest predictions I have Zero Concrete Evidence for, not all of these are good but they are things I've thought of:
Haruka's plan is going to immediately go wrong before it begins because he's going to try attacking Jackalope (since all the prisoner's think he's just Es' pet rabbit) and end up maimed/killed
Haruka and/or Muu will have apparently died at the start of T3, and all the prisoners are going to be pissed at Es for it, then about halfway through the season, Jackalope is going to drag them back to milgram, revealing that they discovered the MILGRAM exit (as teased at the end of the second novel) but escaping milgram isn't so simple (Kotoko may also know about the exit but was stopped before she could fake her death/use it and just stayed quiet since she doesn't like the others) Haruka and Muu's MV/interro will end up being later in the season than normal because of this
Bonus points if the milgram exit leads you to: An endlessly vast landscape that you can wander through forever lost without a Jackalope guide to show you the way; the moon; a replica of the Titanic's sister ship in the middle of the Nevada desert; MILGRAM HQ; or the college Yale
I've talked about it before but I think Kotoko is going to get attacked by Shidou, Mikoto's amnesia may be exploited to frame him for it (since attacking Kotoko in Mahiru's room seems to have lead him to mistakenly believing he's the reason Mahiru is so injured even though no one else has even brought up the possibility he attacked her) and it'll be a test of whether Kazui will tell the truth or keep the cover up going
I've got a few different Mahiru ones: 1) Shidou stops being able to give her care, but then that mysteriously causes her to recover more than when she was under his treatment 2) She is revealed to be pregnant or even gives birth. It is either the fault of Shidou or an immaculate conception (I'm sure weirder stuff has happened in milgram) Yuno helps take care of her/the baby and for better or worse it causes her a lot of complicated feelings
Bonus points if it turns out Es was also originally a milgram baby and got raised by jackalopes or something for the day they could be used in an experiment (Also cue the dramatic custody battle for this child)
Someone is going to try attacking Amane before she can attack Shidou and she'll narrowly escape, implied that it was only possible because she wasn't restricted by a second guilty vote
Either she or Fuuta will stop the attack by revealing a weapon hidden in her backpack (in T1 me and Gunsli speculated she could have a gun but based on her T2 MV it could be the purge march taser)
Especially if Fuuta is the one to defend her I think there's a chance of the attacker dying/being seriously injured and that'll be traumatic for them both but especially Fuuta since his murder was more hands off originally and now he's actually hurt someone
Es confronts the prisoners on their future plans: If they are spared what will Life After MILGRAM be for them?
Shidou makes moves to take in Es and/or Amane but neither of them want to live with him because he has no respect for them as human beings and not just Children™

Rating MILGRAM shoes because- what are those?!
Inspired by a post I stumbled upon talking about Kotoko's T1 shoes I decided to go to check all of them and rate one by one both the drip and how pratical they are for a prison. (This is satire please guys don't cancel me over shoe opinions)
1-Haruka Sakurai T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
Ok....bro has that psych ward drip. Honestly they look comfortable for a prison, I'll give him that. 7/10
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
He's not even wearing one of them- how did I never notice that. He clearly doesn't know how to tie the laces either but anyways, still comfortable and to be honest, I like the shoes. He loses points for not wearing one of them so- 7/10 (Mu teach this poor kid how to wear shoes pls)
2-Yuno Kashiki T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
Typical school shoes, not bad but still boring, they also start to hurt after a while. I've seen how you dress girl, come on you can do better than this..... I'd say 4/10
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
(Why did she have to split her legs so much....have one of them) There was an upgrade i guess, it's more stylish but still uncomfortable to stand on for days on end in a prison. 4/10
3-Fuuta Kajiyama T1/T2 Shoes (man didn't even bother changing shoes)
Tumblr media
What are these bulky ah shoes.....I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say they must at least be comfortable since they look like sports shoes. (can we talk about those socks tho-) 6/10
4-Muu Kusunoki T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
Ok first of all, who the fuck goes to a prison and wears high heels?! Like- out of everything you could wear, you use the LEAST comfortable or pratical choice possible?? She really said slaying first, comfort second alright..... 3/10 im not sorry
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
.......I'm not even going to say anything.......it got worse. 2/10
5-Shidou Kirisaki T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
Uhm...ok grandpa shoes i guess.....still comfy tho. By themselves they don't look bad but with the actual fit- my guy what the fuck where you thinking.... 5/10
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
My guy really looked at Kotoko's T1 shoes and thought they looked cool. Still better than hers but thats for later. What on earth are even these tho, they are like crocs but with normal shoe soles??? He's clearly one of those guys that get dressed by their wives and can't do it by themselves because jesus.... 4/10?
6-Mahiru Shiina T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
Ok, nails done, I see you. Grandma shoes mixed with platform shoes.....she's smol so I get it. They actually look comfy but what about winter girl- 7/10 No T2 because.....well....wheelchair (txs Kotoko)
7-Kazui Mukuhara T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
What are these shoes, they have belts on the side?? thats a belt right- From the front they look like fisherman boots, what is this man wearing. At least they don't look uncomfortable. 6/10
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
Alright he got comfier, very solid. I'd wear those in prison, 9/10 great upgrade Dad!
8-Amane Momose T1/T2 Shoes (dam girl change a bit)
Tumblr media
School shoes same as Yuno but this ones.....I've worn that and god do they fuck up your toes.....Is she ok? 3/10
9-Mikoto Kayano & John T1/ T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
Ok my guy Vans i see you, he went for the comfy option but the color....could be better. 8/10 But can we take a moment to talk about how John can't tie shoe laces??
Tumblr media
What is that- He's going to trip on that thing and fall face first on the floor. Those look one step away from unlacing.
And finally, the one that started it all,
10-Kotoko Yuzuriha T1 Shoes
Tumblr media
(again, what are those socks) I don't even know what these are supposed to be?? Are these a normal version of those beach sandals or something?! They look ugly as hell (god that random ass circle on the side- it looks like a black and white pokeball tho) and uncomfortable too. 1/10 burn these things (you are lucky you are hot)
T2 Shoes
Tumblr media
Now we are talking, the biggest glow up ever!! They are literally just military security boots, go off queen, slay (perferably not literally, we've seen that enough) Comfy, fashionable, she can step on me with those- wait what? 9/10

This really adds to my thoughts about how Amane views love and why she interacts with Yuno and (the one who is relevant to this) Fuuta in a notably more amicable way.
Amane views love as mercy and she genuinely cares for Fuuta to some extent. They probably gravitated towards each other for multiple reasons considering how similar the two are when you get down to it, but Kazui's response actually gives another reason.
Q: What do you think of Kajiyama Fuuta? A: When you're at that age it's ok to be that cocky
This is probably unintentional on Kazui's part, but considering how emotionally unstable and distressed Fuuta is at the moment, being seen as "cocky" and just that probably feels dismissive.
From what I can tell it seems like Fuuta is affected deeply by outside opinion. Considering how he reacts to the voices (which, yeah the voices would be bad for anyone but also he reacts notably the worst to them) and the twitter cancel culture flame war mess. Plus at the moment Fuuta feels very guilty, anxious, and insecure.
Amane is used to being ignored and dismissed. Theirs probably some understanding between them.
Once again, Amane views love as "mercy" but notably she doesn't express that mercy the same way her "parents" did.
When she interacts with Shidou and Mahiru she's doing that partially out of hatred and partially because Shidou and Mahiru remind her of her parents, people who Hurt Her. That isn't out of love.
However when she's talking with Fuuta and Yuno she's amicable and polite, answering their questions and not threatening them like she does with Shidou and Mahiru. This is her "mercy" a notably kinder "mercy."
When Amane says this:
Q: What do you think of Kajiyama Fuuta? A: He is lost and in pain I should help him
She is coming from a genuine place of love and care, one that is surprisingly not that destructive considering the way her home-life treated love.
It's like Amane knows how painful it was and is, to some extent, is avoiding acting that way because she Genuinely Cares about them.
Once again, she only threatens Shidou and Mahiru with violence, and we don't see any signs of her doing the same to either Fuuta and Yuno.
Say what you will about her indoctrinating Fuuta, but this is coming from a genuine want to Help.
And what did Amane say she wanted in Magic again?
Only if, only if, only if I could be a good girl I hope, I hope everyone can be happy and smile Forever, forever together would be a dream
So yeah.

"how can you support mahiru? her partner killed themselves because of her—"
Tumblr media
kazui mukuhara your days are numbered
you know, when kazui's trial drops i expect the same vitriolic disgust for being the cause of his wife's suicide because i've never seen anyone bash him for it, much less claim he was an abuser (i'm sure he has been but it's likely not to degree of mahiru). that's because kazui isn't abusive, and claiming he isn't one doesn't mean erasing the strife hanako must've endured their relationship either.
Love + Fate = Crap Crush and bye Disgusting playing house + disguise + fake Devotion-love, lame, cheating Let's make it victim and assailant
mahiru and her boyfriend's relationship does not have to be strictly be abuser/victim because it's not. they are both bluebirds suffocating within a small birdcage, they are both feeding eachother cake, they are both riding the carousel, and they are both damaged within the forest. the only difference between them is that her boyfriend broke first.
"abusive" is a loaded term which implies mahiru had the intentions of hurting her boyfriend which we know isn't the case. out of two mvs not once is mahiru depicted knowingly harming her partner. if this was actually the case then all of their symbolism wouldn't paint them as equals and mahiru wouldn't say they have "matching pain."
We fought sometimes, I was happy to get hurt Let's have matching pain, this sickness is pretty bad
This is a claim of responsibility From the two of us with matching love Wanting to know everything about you, but wanting to die because it can't come true It's all because of love
acknowledging how mahiru also suffered doesn't mean shifting the blame onto her boyfriend either. it's shouldn't be a binary of "mahiru is an evil abusive stalker and her boyfriend's an innocent victim" or "mahiru did everything right and her boyfriend is the abusive one!"
Yamanaka: "This can be said about all of Milgram, but I want to make it so that your interpretation of it changes depending on your standpoint, thinking processes, and ways of life. I pay great attention to avoid writing the story in a way that depicts something as absolute good or absolute bad, or one thing is right and the other is wrong. I want the story to elicit a different opinion from you when you revisit it as you get older."
(sorry for stealing the quote from your recent post @honeyfizzly ily please forgive me)
just like kazui and hanako, mahiru and her boyfriend are just messy people who hurt one another. if you wish for mahiru to recieve a comeuppance for her actions then so be it but most of the reasons i've been given have a shaky foundation.

MILGRAM, Growing Up & Maturity
Recently, I've been thinking about MILGRAM and its prisoners connections to the concept of age and growing up - not every prisoner has a connection to this theme, but I think it's worth talking about!
Haruka - Haruka still sees himself as a child (his age is listed as 17, so he technically is) though in his MVs, he's often shown as a very young child, which makes sense considering his story centers around his relationship with his mother (and likely his life in the school system/being mistreated as a disabled child). Haruka represents being stuck growing up forever, never being supported enough to grow into an adult.
Yuno - Yuno's young age was often used as a point of skepticism by the audience during T1. She was told she was just too immature to know what she was doing/was barely an adult etc. Yuno spoke out against this view in Tear Drop, which represents her as a mature adult, despite her young age. She mirrors Haruka in this aspect. She grew up as fast as she liked, her decisions were her own. She was allowed to become an adult exactly when she wanted to.
Fuuta - Fuuta, even being 20 years old, still acts very much like a teenage bully - or at least, that's the act he puts up. He goes along with the crowd and doesn't really know his own place in the world just yet. He's not even able to realize the harm he's doing to his online victims until his 'murder'. When he's voted guilty in T1, this bully attitude is finally stripped away and he seems more like a confused young boy than a confident college student. Fuuta hasn't quite reached the point where he can call himself a grown adult yet.
Muu - This one is a little harder to properly pinpoint. Muu has been pampered by her rich parents all her life and has never had to make many decisions or work for herself (assuming she was actually a queen bee bully type). The first decision in her life that's actually hers is, tragically enough, her murder. She seems to see herself as someone who can boss around adults already when she clearly still has a lot of growing up to do.
Shidou - Shidou seems like the most mature prisoner of all. He had a family, a wife, kids - though that's been taken away from him, he still retains a wiseness that the other characters don't seem to have. Shidou is an adult who would rather be taken apart by piece by piece than see others be hurt. He often talks about his childhood in his extra material, almost seemingly longing to be a child again, where he had to experience no loss and no growing up.
Mahiru - Mahiru, as contrasted by Shidou, is very lacking in experiencing what she values most in life - love. She's in college when she finally gets what she wants, and she doesn't understand what being in a relationship truly means. In her 2nd MV, her view of her relationship is almost childishly whimsical. There's a carousel, sweets, a party just for her. This is to symbolize her still needing to grow and see the real world for what it is, also linked to maturity.
Kazui - With the next pair, this motif is a lot easier to see. Kazui is the oldest prisoner in all of MILGRAM, but he is still immature at heart. He often talks almost like he resents being an adult, wishing to be irresponsible again. This may sound similar to Shidou at first, but the difference between Kazui and Shidou is the fact that Shidou doesn't seem to mind being affected by societal norms (having a family, a good job, wife and kids...) as much as Kazui. Kazui wants nothing more than to be as free as he used to be before his relationship (either because he doesn't want to have just 1 relationship or because he hates the norms being forced on him). This might just be disproven in like 1 month but.. we'll see?
Amane - I feel like Amane is almost too obvious for me to write anything about her. First off, she's a child. Obviously she's still growing up and learning - but she's a child trope flipped on her head, she's only twelve, but she's obsessed with being a mature adult (assumedly to be respected by her elders in the cult). Often showcased in the Minigram comics is her childish nature surfacing in calm moments, but it never lasts. She's been forced to grow up too fast and there's no undoing it for her.
I feel like I can't really connect this theme to Mikoto and Kotoko, honestly. We just don't know enough about them yet - So maybe I'll expand on this once their T2 MVs come out? Feel free to add on if you'd like, though. :) Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!

Yknow I feel like I should have a main post where I share my Milgram opinions/verdicts (thought of this bc i was writing my sister's opinion on the milgram characters). So I'll go character by character.
Will anyone read this? I don't know but its here
Haruka: I relate to him a bit (shitty mother, intrusive homicidal thoughts, neurodivergence). I def feel bad for him but hes still really guilty in my mind. I just think the whole killing for attention thing is a really dangerous mindset you can't just get out of, especially if you're being told you're not in the wrong. And it definitely seems like he doesn't actually feel bad for the girl he killed, just feels bad because people are mad at him for it. Idk. But I enjoy his dynamic with Muu a lot, even tho its toxic i just think its really interesting. But I wish him the best and he deserves a hug. His songs are mid tho (/hj i like them)
Yuno: I love her personality and I think shes so fun, but I honestly don't think about her a lot compared to the others. But I love her and specifically enjoy her dynamics with (obv mostly in fan content) Kazui, Mahiru and Fuuta. Her and Fuuta are such a good platonic ship (romantic is fun too). Innocent vote, obv. I like her songs, but Tear Drop moreso than Umbilical.
Fuuta: Oh my god I wonder what I think of him. In all seriousness he's a major hyperfixation of mine at like every given moment. I adore him and i think he deserves better and to be innocent. Like he feels so guilty for what he did and he didn't know any better, everyone around him was encouraging his behavior and praising him for it. But then it got too far and all his friends abandoned him and blamed him like. Poor fuuta :( and he's like 100% right when he says him and es are exactly the same. On another note, major fan of 0309 (romantically, but either way works), and also love his dynamic with Haruka, Yuno, Mahiru, Amane and Es. His songs are both in my top three (backdraft being #1)
Muu: Tied for my fav character(? Fuuta might beat her idk) I love her personality and vibe and everything just ❤️❤️ queen shit. And her queen bee design is gorgeous. Typically my favs are men but shes one of the first women ive hyperfixated on this much. Again, love her dynamic with Haruka, not from a like. healthy relationships could make the characters better standpoint, but from a story perspective its interesting. But yeah guilty. As for her songs, INMF is my #2 and i like After Pain
Shidou: Honestly I used to be kinda indifferent about him and just found him to be boring but then I rewatched his voice dramas and read some fics and I like him more now. I feel really bad for him bc he went through a really shitty situation which he felt he had the power to change and was stuck in a shitty moral dilemma bc of it. And in the end he did shitty things to save those he loved and it didn't even matter. He feels so guilty and doesn't deserve it. Innocent <3. Also romantic 0507 ftw (0506 is cool too). Him and Amane are silly too. As for his songs i like them, but they're not my fav
Mahiru: i like her, but im not too like. invested in her ig. But i feel bad for her :( she just wants to feel love and like. clearly she did something wrong but she didn't know she was. She never intended to hurt anyone. So innocent. Unless we find out she like. did something really fucking bad then maybe guilty. But in I Love You it implies it was a mutual toxicity so it probably wasn't something super terrible? But anyway. I love her with like all the characters cuz shes just so fun to see interact w others, but specifically with Yuno, Fuuta, Shidou, Amane and Mikoto.
Kazui: Hes so fun i love him. Like all he wants is to be honest and be himself but he feels pressured to lie and then finally he tells the truth and his wife fucking kills herself like- jeez- poor guy. Like following the gay theory, i get why she mightve done it (imagine being told the romance you built your entire life around for like 20 years was all a lie, and that your husband never actually loved you and just pretended to and every time you kissed or something he was just pretending like. that sucks poor hinako) but its so awful that he had to go thru that. But anyway innocent, kazui come out we accept you. And stan 0507. Song wise cat is easily #4 but. half is ok ig
Amane: Yknow i love amane but I also hate her and i think part of that might be the fandom? idk. I feel sorry for her bc she grew up in such a shitty situation but also i think shes beyond the point where we can uninstill those ideologies. Like shes 12, not 5. And amane says it herself that she has as much of a free will as everyone else and that her decision to kill/stay in this environment should be valued. Not that i think she should remain in this abusive situation, but she's not just some innocent kid whose being manipulated, she knows what she's doing. Hence, guilty. I don't think either vote will change her or anything so im voting with my honest opinion. As for dynamics, i love seeing her interact with all the other prisoners, but especially Shidou and Fuuta.
Mikoto: I love mikoto a lot but im so on the fence about his verdict. Ive been voting him innocent but theres still a part of me thats like. debating it. Bc he shouldn't have to be punished for John's actions, and it sucks that that's the situation hes in, but its that or more murders are left to occur. The main reason i say innocent is under the idea that John could go dormant or just stop fronting as much if we reduce mikoto's stress (like he says will happen i think). But hes so complex and fun i love mikoto. Specifically i love romantic 0309 but also his dynamic w the smoking group and mahiru. Also i love his songs.
Kotoko: I love her but also fuck her for hurting fuuta (and mahiru too but mainly fuuta). She annoys me bc she was so quick to almost murder several people based on a preliminary verdict that was made using little information. Like she knew this wasn't a concrete verdict, but attacked them anyway. I get her ideology of "kill people who evade justice to protect the weak" but only when they've actually done bad things (ie. the guy kidnapping the little girl). But when she doesn't know what they did and knows the person accusing them doesn't either???? Like bruh. But i like her character shes fun. I like seeing how she interacts with es and everyone she attacked. And songs, harrow is okay and i really like deep cover.
Whew im done.

After his shift, Eijirou headed towards his office and changed into his casual attire. It's an uneventful shift which Eijirou was glad about since it meant no one got hurt. But he couldn't stop thinking about Katsuki and his well-being.
Being a hero means helping as much as you can even if it costs you to offer up your life. So if it takes him eternally to find the person who caused this misery to his friend, he will.
Thinking about this made Eijirou's blood boil. It makes him think back to the day Katsuki introduced her to them. At first, he thought she was a fine woman who doesn't care about Katsuki's status, and wealth. But as the day goes by, he started noticing the changes in his friend. It even got to the point that Katsuki had to miss work just for him to buy her desires. Materialistic desires.
How dare she manipulate his best friend.
How dare she steal his wealth.
How dare she fool around while Katsuki's working his ass off.
How dare she leave him and their child behind.
Thinking about this made Eijirou desperate and arrest her right away. But that isn't logical thinking. He knew he needed to know her side first. He needed to know why she does that.
After Eijirou wrapped up, he put his suit where the agency will cleanse it. He bid everyone goodbye with a smile before departing the building. His smile suddenly slips as he fishes his phone from his pocket. Grasping it firmly, he doubled taps the screen seeing his phone lit up. His finger dances on the screen as he dials a familiar number before placing the phone near his ear and waiting for the other line to answer.
"Hello?"
"Ah hey! How are you doing?" Eijirou smiled as he began walking.
"Kirishima. I didn't expect you to call.”
"Haha, yeah. Today's uneventful so my shift ended quite early." Eijirou said scratching his head.
"So, what's up?"
Eijirou's smile disappears again, "I'll get frankly to the topic." He said with a serious voice, "I hope you have useful news."
The person at the other line raised an eyebrow before smiling. "Ah. Yes actually. You'll be shocked."
"What is it?" Eijirou asked making him stop walking.
"She's actually still in the city."
..
"Okay, class. It’s already 4 pm. That's all for today. You may only leave when your parents showed up to pick you up." Ms. Y/n smiled as she started assembling her items.
One by one, the parents show up greeting her before they took their child and leave. The only one left is Kazui who's busily sketching random stuff on a piece of paper.
The fact that Kazui knew someone would pick him up but probably late made Ms. Y/n feel sad. He’s too young to experience this kind of thing. That is also why she mentioned to Mr. Bakugou that she used to be a babysitter so that she can officially take care of Kazui.
Taking a huge breath, Ms. Y/n made her way to Kazui who hasn't noticed her yet. Once she reached his side, she knelt down and tap him on his shoulder trying to get his attention which worked.
“Ms. Y/n?” Kazuo looked at her curiously as he stopped doodling.
“Will anyone pick you up?” Ms. Y/n asked. She ought to know if someone will pick him up so that she’ll know if they had to wait or she’ll take him with her.
Kazuo looked down at his paper sadly. “Papa didn't mention he’ll pick me up, not grandma.” He mumbled.
His tone of voice causes Ms. Y/n’s heart to ache. So without further ado, she gathers her things, as well as Kazui’s, and motioned him to follow her.
“Ms. Y/n, where are we going?” Kazui asked as he watches his teacher locking their classroom door.
“I’ll take you to my apartment again. But I need to message your grandparents first, or your papa to let them know you’re with me.” Ms. Y/n smiled down at Kazui who smiled at her excitedly.
“Really!? Do I get to watch you cook again?!” Kazui beamed and followed Ms. Y/n way to the teacher’s office where she has her things.
“Of course.” Ms. Y/n giggled seeing Kazui's eyes sparkling.
Once Ms. Y/n finished packing the things she needed to work on her home and messaging Kazui’s guardian, she wave to her co-teachers, telling them she’ll take her leave.
Ms. Y/n felt Kazui’s hand grasp her skirt making her look down. This must be how Kazui is to Mr. Bakugou. So she took his hand and held it giving Kazui a gentle smile.
“What do you want for dinner, dear?” Ms. Y/n asked as they both headed to the exit door.
Kazui released a humming sound as if thinking, making Ms. Y/n chuckle as she watches him.
“Can we have Hamburger Steak?” Kazui looked up at her showing his beautiful velvet eyes as he waited for her to answer.
“Mhhmm.” Ms. Y/n pretended to think, placing her pointer finger on her pouting lips. “Alright.” She smiled.
“Yay!!”
..
It was now 6 pm in the evening and Katsuki just finished his shift. He's glad and pissed at the same time that today was slow. No villain attacks or what so ever.
As he made his way to his agency, Katsuki took this chance to check his phone. Seeing a lot of notifications from his old mentor, his parents, and Kazui’s school. Of course, he clicked the one concerning his child.
When the message showed on his screen, he reads it carefully. Although, the content of the message made him facepalm. He forgot to inform Kazui’s teacher he’ll pick him up late. Boy, he was glad Kazui’s teacher is considerate enough to look after Kazui while he was on duty.
She’s been taking care of his child for a while now since they both got closer and she even bring his child to her apartment, waiting for someone to pick him up. He was glad someone was giving him a helping hand.
When Katsuki reached his office, he kept reminding himself to bring a gift as a thank you to Ms. Y/n for taking care of his child.
..
After they both went to the supermarket to get the ingredients needed for their dinner, Ms. Y/n went to the beverage area and added a small bottle of sparkling grape juice for herself and a pair of orange juice boxes for Kazui. She paid everything to the cashier and walk their way to her apartment which isn't that far from the school.
When they entered her apartment, Kazui took the bags from Ms. Y/n, helping her to place them on the counter which he could barely reach.
Ms. Y/n giggled at this and thanked Kazui before going to her bedroom and changing into comfortable clothes. After changing, she made her way to her kitchen and started preparing.
“Ms. Y/n?” Kazuo called out while he sat on the counter top where he could watch Ms. Y/n cook. But of course, away from the stove.
“Yes, sweetie?” Ms. Y/n answered while she focuses on mixing the contents needed for the burger steak.
“Are you single?”
Ms. Y/n halt her movement, blinking confusedly before turning her head to look at Kazui. “Where did this come from?”
“Well, I don't see any other pictures in here. Only your picture and a family picture right there.” Kazui said raising his hand to point where he saw the picture.
Observant. The word that came up in Ms. Y/n's mind. She knew Kazui’s smart. She witnessed how he can effortlessly solve any problem written on the blackboard. Especially when it's a situational problem. No, she didn't teach these kinds of problems to her students. But when she saw Kazui’s ability, she decided to test it out. That's where she found out about Kazui’s sharp thinking. Maybe it was because he was the child of the number 2 hero? Was he teaching his child these things? She’ll never know.
“Haha. I am single. And why are you asking this, huh?” Ms. Y/n eyes Kazui suspiciously and is playful at the same time. “Are you going to ask me out?”
Kazui’s face turns red and seeing this reaction made Ms. Y/n laugh.
“I’m kidding.” Ms. Y/n said giggling and continue preparing their dinner.
“C-can I ask you a question?” Kazui was looking at his feet when he said this.
“Go ahead, sweetie.” Ms. Y/n spoke out gently as she started shaping the burger steak.
“Can you be my mama?”

While I'm quite happy that for once after Haruka's voting, Kazui's voting changed from forgiven to guilty, which makes things interesting, I honesty think that a guilty vote will not be beneficial at all.
Before actually telling why I personally vote him innocent I want to state that I don't really have an intention to force other people to vote him innocent. This project was done to make everyone vote however they want and I wish to keep it that way. I'm writing this mostly for myself and simply because I want to share my opinion.
Tumblr media
I understand why people vote him guilty as his lies made Hinako to realize that she waisted many years of her life, which is truly unfair for her. Not to say how Japan views divorce and treats divorced women.
Tumblr media
Also Japan pressures many people to marry as early as possible.
Tumblr media
Women especially are a victim of this system. So Hinako's situation is overall very sad.
Men are also pressured into marrying though, so Kazui probably seen an opportunity to settle and have a good life with Hinako, thinking that maybe he'll eventually fall in love with her.
Does it excuse his actions?
No, it doesn't.
I just want to point out that mostly I'm neutral about his case. If I had to vote strictly based on his murder alone, I would simply not vote. I consider them both victims of this system.
The reasons why I vote him innocent though is because he might be helpful in trial 3 and I think that he'll have a character growth.
1.While in his first trial we forgiven his lie, his "fictional" situation and feelings, now, Kazui had showed us more about himself, not really his 100% true self, but still it's more than in trial 1. Basically, by voting guilty, we tell him that he should have continued lying and to live miserable.
I dislike lies and I want him to be more honest with others and himself. I can't see how a guilty verdict might help him on this case. I feel like people don't understand that a guilty verdict doesn't necessarily mean that they will have a massive character growth?? Every prisoner is different and just because for one character a guilty verdict might have helped him doesn't mean that it will apply to everyone. Shidou is a good example, because by voting him innocent I think it was one of the best decisions in trial 1. And again: it's an innocent verdict that helped him, not a guilty one.
2. While we are at Shidou, I want to bring up my second point. The new timeline conversation made me realize how much Kazui is actually needed. Shidou is too worried about the injured prisoners, especially Mahiru, so he doesn't really have time for anything else...
Tumblr media
Shidou was voted innocent. Depending on the future votes and the actual votes his job will still be needed, that's for sure. Haruka and Muu were already voted guilty. While I'm not so worried about Muu when it comes to injures (her mental health will be deteriorated for sure...), Haruka is already thinking of how to hurt himself. Even if he'll be restrained, it's not like he would not find a solution to decrease his health. (starvation could be possible). And here I'm talking just for already guilty voted prisoners in this trial. Mahiru and Fuuta will still need some medical treatment, it's not like the damage already done will magically disappear. So Shidou will still be pretty much busy.
But where do I want to go with this? There has to be someone who can keep an eye on the situation and act if it's necessarily. Shidou can't do it, so who else could if not Kazui?
Haruka and Muu, as I stated before, will be the ones that will probably need the most help at the moment.
Fuuta and Mahiru, maybe they could help somehow, at least to lift the mood, but I doubt that considering their injuries and deteriorated mental health(as I said before a forgiven verdict will not completely erase the damage already done). Not sure if they can do very much.
Yuno, as smart and calm she is, would pretty much not want to bother with the situation in prison. However I think she will continue to be a good friend to Mahiru, and help if it's truly necessarily.
Amane is already in a bad mental state, I don't think I have to explain myself.
Mikoto, for him I'm not sure, maybe with an innocent verdict he might actually lift the mood, help Shidou or Kazui(if voted innocent)? But that's pretty much speculation, so it's nothing sure. Mikoto, in his door art looks scared, and has his own worries. (kind of the same situation with Mahiru and Fuuta)
Kotoko it's already isolated in Milgram prison. We haven't heard from her in Milgram timeline post for so long... Also, many people want to vote her guilty this trial. I honestly don't think it would change, even if Milgram reveals something that will put her in a more sympathetic light.
So overall, the only option that we have is Kazui. Milgram trial 3 will sure be awful, I'm 100% sure that they will somehow add more problems and will make everything much worse. If not for Kazui possible character growth, I want to vote him innocent in hopes that the situation in prison will be a little better.
Of course these are just my thoughts , which I wanted to share, so if anyone disagrees it's fine, I would really like to hear the reasons!!
