Every now and then I replay the first episode of VLD and I wonder why I thought it be a good show lol
#mostly just the part where Allura is assigning pilots to lions#why lol. the first five people who show up are just perfect fits?? hate it lol#i have no au plot ideas but itd have made more sense to draw out the forming of voltron. like for a longer time. like its the s1 finale#and to be traveling looking for appropriate pilots#or the s2 finale? like what if the original gang somehow stayed in contact despite not being Voltron paladins and they proved being the best#team despite not piloting immediately. i feel like a stronger plot of their forming teamwork outside of being Voltron would have also made#their friendships seem more real too lmao#like what if Lance IS Blue's pilot bit hes the only one for a long time. the other lions couldn't actually *just be* located#*but. not bit. and what if Pidge runs off in a stolen vessel to find her dad and brother. what if Shiro isnt.. so flat as a character and is#desperate to find his old team and runs off with them to help out and free others#Keith could somehow get involved with The Blades a lot sooner#and Hunk finds his footing as a leader in rebellion organization. i hate that he was just the funny guy allll the way thru#also (still not a plot bc my brain is unorganized lol) Allura doesnt die. that random guy from highschool that's shown up in my dreams like five times has made another appearance. I should've written it down this morning because now ive forgotten. but i remember is was a really small like one line part. and i woke up and went over my dream a few times in my head before i was like. YOU.
my dreams weren't super interesting last night but i kept waking up so there were a lot.

#like. it all fits#im having a weird time with lucas rn i started on the brotherhood questline just bc i havent done it before#i figure he's in it for the resources and the potential lead on the institute he doesnt care about their mission at all#but it doesnt feel good i dont like it. do not care for the brotherhood vibes.#things are getting real messy bc my plan for lucas was for him to join the institute#but then following his motivation i ended up working with the railroad again as a means to finding the institute#realized hes extremely compatible with deacon they have the same chaotic 'i can literally never tell if you're joking' energy#so inevitably theres gonna be a turning point where he has to betray Everyone he cares about!#and i havent yet figured out why. maybe i shouldve gone with Evil rather than just selfish/opportunist#so now i have the problem of 'what would cause him to suddenly turn on everyone he has' but maybe it'll make sense when i get there#this run is gonna Hurt thats all i know

Ykno#So i thought the villains could have these “corrupted” gemstones/emotions#that came from the angels negative emotions#like uhmm i was thinking the main one could be hatred#Idk what their villain legion name should be i thought of a few things#Tbh i know I want to keep the angelic motifs of the justice angels but i just#don't vibe with that name entirely... it doesnt fit correctly in my mind...#Maybe Salvation themes instead? also i need to draw some more outfits for c. martinus and l. furius...
#ill need to research clothes more though even though i understand the basics#and tbh l. furius is mostly seen in toga+tunic and c. martinus in a plain tunic when he doesnt Have to wear the toga. but i need more casua#outfits for them...#for both of them i need to strike a balance between socially acceptable clothes and clothes they would like to wear. bcs c. martinus would#go around naked if he could. he is dressing as sluttily as possible all the time. he has that antonystyle short tunic thing going on... and#he also likes all things luxurious so he definitely has at least one outrageously purple outfit. and l. furius is soooo worried about how#hes percieved but he also likes to cover up as much as possible/wear loose baggy clothing. i imagine (and ive drawn it too)him wearingloose#robes with long sleeves around the house but its not something he could be seen in in public unless he wants to get made fun of . he also#wears mostly dark colors but i have to strike a balance between his boring taste in clothes and ones he looks good in... +i should#also give him some frumpy ass fits because he wouldnt really know how to dress himself that well tbh (caecilia probably helps him pick#outfits that look good though) anyway he tends to wear tunics that are very long and loose to cover as much of himself as is reasonably#socially acceptable. and no one has commented on it so far due to his intimidating vibe. at least not to his face#ficposting#also l. furius wouldnt have as many different clothes as c. martinus bcs he was pretty broke for a long time. so a lot of his are old
