Explanation behind “You already have your desire”

Since I started my LOA journey, I've had a healthy amount of skepticism towards the idea of already having our desires. Some part of me agreed with that and said, "Yes, I indeed have my desires" (it was my soul saying that to me). But my logical mind would be like, "No, you don’t. Look at your physical life. Do you see your desire?"

And while I knew that all LOA bloggers would tell me to believe in my imagination/4d and not my 3d, I still struggled.

Until I finally found the perfect explanation of why I should trust my 4d more than my 3d.

And I’m here to share these insights with you.

It all comes down to realizing that all outcomes, all desires you have, every single potentiality exists here in the Now. They are happening all at once. But we are not perceiving them all at once. We are experiencing a certain reality at a time depending on our actions, assumptions, thoughts, and beliefs.

I will give a good analogy that I already used in one of the asks. Imagine you are in a huge room with different objects inside. A huge skeleton of an elephant is grabbing your attention first. This is what you are perceiving. But you want to find a certain book and after some searching, you find it. The thing is, the book was always in that room, you just didn’t notice it.

The same with your desires. They are always here but you are not observing them.

At every single moment you are always choosing what reality you are perceiving depending on your thoughts and assumptions.

And when you perceive a certain outcome, you know that other possibilities are still there and are available to you. You just aren’t aware of it with your senses.

Knowing that everything you can imagine exists here in the now allows you to relax and not worry about how to get it. Because you know that it’s already here even though your physical senses don’t perceive it yet.

What you need to do is to persist in this knowing that your desire is yours even though your senses don’t show it yet. This persistence will allow your desires to ��physicalise” (but not really since they have always been there you just changed your perception).

Another good analogy that can help with grasping this concept is DVD. Imagine a disk with your favorite movie on it. You have watched this movie so many times and you know the ending.

So you are not stressing when characters are going through some tough times because you know that this movie has a good ending for them.

Think of your life as an infinite library with DVDs. Each DVD has a different reality that you can perceive and be a part of. When you imagine your desire/fulfill your inner man/know that your desire is yours/affirm, etc., you are literally choosing which DVD/reality you will perceive.

So when something “bad” happens, you don’t need to stress because you know how this “movie” will end. You have already seen the outcome (imagined it and accepted that it’s yours).

Your state, thoughts, and beliefs align you with a particular ending of each movie/outcome of reality. That’s why it’s recommended to think as if and to embody the state of having your desire because it aligns you with a reality where you are a person with your desires.

So disregard your senses and don’t allow them to tell you whether you have your desires or not. You always do. You just need to switch your perspective and see that it has always been there 🙏❤️

yourinstagram im sorry its taken me so long to show up. i thought time would give me the ability to find some words to say, but as it turns out im much better at telling things through a camera than through a pen (or a keyboard, in this case). when i posted my first video on youtube, all i wanted was to find myself again after finally getting free from a relationship that drained the fun out of me. making movies is something that ive always been passionate about, so i thought — why not? three months later, when i posted my first video at a concert, all i wanted was to tell the story of a woman who, after raising two kids and giving everything she had to make everyone around her happy and safe, finally had the opportunity to make one of her most “innocent” dreams (seeing shania twain) come true. fast forward to this week, as i post my latest video all i want is to tell the story of a man who has the entire world in the palm of his hand and yet lives his life as if he’s merely another ordinary soul on earth. what happens now, and what you do with this story (or with any other ive already told), its not up to me anymore.

PART 5: FROM SAN ANTONIO

The scene that needs to be talked about !!!

This scene has my whole heart and soul I am telling you 🥺🥺. I don't even know where to begin !

I feel like we truly forget how young Mahasamut is and that it's Tongrak who's the older one but we see a lot of patience from Mahasamut and the bratty side to Rak we truly forget that Mahasamut is just 20/21 yrs old and he is so young 🥺

(Personally I don't like calling Mahasamut as Mut coz I hate that word and if I do end up calling it's mostly through chat just coz I am lazy to type his whole name or I might just end up calling him Maha 😂. Maha means great in a lot of languages but I know it personally coz it also means great in Sanskrit!)

In this scene we start with Mahasamut telling that he has used all his lifetimes luck to have Rak with him 🥺 and one of the things I noticed is how often Maha says "someone like me" 😭😭 for all his confidence there's still a part of Maha that feels like he is not worthy of Rak's attention/affection especially when he believes that he has nothing to give in return 🥺 and when he asks Rak not to leave it came from a moment of desperation but seeing the surprise on Rak's face he takes it back believing he has no right to ask that of Rak.

The shift in their dynamics is so clear in this scene coz we see Rak acting his age by telling Maha to act his age and to just ask and he keeps caressing Maha's face and hair lovingly and I wonder if Rak even realizes hes doing that. 🥹🥹🙏

And the hesitation on Maha's face the clenched fists it all shows the battle that is going on within him that makes him want to just shut down and not ask coz this is a boy who was thrown out by his own parents at the mere age of 15 just coz he shared his love for the ocean and his creatures. He has believed that unless he is contributing useful something to the table he has no right / place to speak his mind about what he wants or needs 🥺

When he says I have nothing to offer you, I think it was very important that Rak replied back with "I want nothing from you" like it's so important Maha had to hear that from Rak. In that moment all their "transactional" jokes were nothing but dust in the air. For Rak it's a way to tell himself that this connection between them is just coz Rak is paying Maha but everyone but Rak knows that it's not true. These two yes they annoy each other, they banter and flirt but they also have these deep conversations in the middle of the night while gazing at the stars and think "why the hell did I say all that to someone whom I have known for just 2 weeks"

"If I ask and you refuse I might never dare to ask anyone again" it's true you know once we open up to someone and then when they reject or say to that part of us we might never find the courage to be that vulnerable again coz the pain of that rejection feels like a stab to our heart. It's basically telling us that this soft vulnerable part of us is not worthy of love / care. So every time after that even if we want to be vulnerable there's still a part of us that goes " what if history repeats itself again, will I be able to pick up the pieces and go through that again"

The vulnerability in Maha's face as he keeps looking at Rak and tells him that he won't prank Rak or annoy him or wake him up early 🥺 like - "I will do anything as long as you stay" and Rak replying back with "you being you is what I need" Maha needs to hear that - despite being an annoying little shit it is that very same nature that brought Rak closer to him and trust him.

Does Rak even realise how in love he looks here. The adoration and fondness his eyes convey. 🥺🥺 Their smiles when Rak agrees not to go was so cute and then the kiss attack 😭😭 (reminded me so much of Paisky I am crying more now)

MY HEART 😭😭😭 TAKE IT WILL YOU...

I want to give a standing ovation for Fortpeat coz their acting in this scene was phenomenal 😭😭 it was so so good ! Fort my baby you have brought me to tears 😭😭 (is it just me who's thinking Fort cries so prettily 🫣🫣)

The Covey are a flashy people, performers to their very soul and the most lively bunch you’ve ever seen. With a love of bright colors and music, it’s hard for any of you to fly under the radar when compared to the rest of the citizens of District Twelve, the people who will never claim you as their own but are happy to dance to your songs and send your cousin to fight to the death.

You, however, aren’t built for the stage. Your voice is better suited to singing lullabies than it is to performing on stage, and even the thought of that many eyes on you makes you feel like you’re on the verge of throwing up. Still, you contribute where you can, helping your cousins write their songs and being a willing audience when they need to test out something new, and you still work, sewing new clothes and patching up the old.

Lucy Gray is something of a momma bird, despite the fact that she’s only a handful of weeks older than you, and she’d rather see you set up and happy before running off with Coriolanus. Luckily for you, he has a friend who, in your opinion, is much kinder and cuter than his blonde counterpart. You’d tell him that, if only your tongue didn’t tie up in knots every time you made eye contact.

Walking towards the lake, Sejanus is sure to push any low-hanging branches out of the way for you, holding out his hand to help you over loose rocks and tangles of roots. The two of you talk the entire way there, almost oblivious to the people surrounding you and the feeling of Lucy Gray staring at you. If you turned around, you’re almost certain you’d catch her grinning.

When you finally make it to the dock, you try not to stare as Sejanus pulls off his shirt, turning away to pull off your own clothes, completely unaware of the way he blushes as he turns back towards the water, for reasons unrelated to the beating sun. No matter how obvious Sejanus makes his affection, it seems impossible to you that somebody like him could love you, and even just friendship seems a little unbelievable sometimes.

The two of you wait for your younger cousins to go splashing into the water, certain that if you had jumped in first, you would have gotten pummeled with water and flying limbs. Launching yourself into the water, you resurface with a giggle as you watch Lucy Gray leap into the lake with Coriolanus hot on her heels. Sejanus is treading water next to you, and the two of you share a smile as you watch Lucy Gray out of the corner of your eye.

“They’re something else, aren’t they?” You wish you were as trusting as Lucy Gray, able to just accept affection like you deserved it, but you’re too busy daydreaming to realize that Sejanus is looking at you like you’re something to be admired.

After about twenty minutes of Maude Ivory’s splashing, you grow tired and heave yourself onto the dock, drying off in the sunshine and dangling your feet into the water. Sejanus sits next to you, claiming that he’s never been the strongest swimmer and he’d rather sit with you on mostly-solid ground, but from the way Lucy Gray winks at you, you’re almost certain it’s just an excuse to sit next to you.

The rest of the afternoon is spent lying side by side with Sejanus in the sun, talking about whatever comes to mind and kicking at your younger cousins whenever they decide to try and tug you back into the water. It’s all sunshine and giggles, and there’s a strange feeling forming in your chest, right in the center of your ribs, a feeling that grows whenever Sejanus looks over at you, eyes half-closed from the sun but still full of a sort of adoration that’s completely foreign to you.

These are always your favorite days, your favorite moments, little pockets of sun dappled peace for you to hold close to your heart and revisit whenever you’re feeling down. The way Sejanus looks at you, smiles at you, laughs at your jokes, places a gentle hand on the bottom of your back to guide you over rough terrain, catapults today to the top of your heart, a precious little jewel to hold onto.

In those moments, replaying the day over in your head with a dreamy smile on your face, you don’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing or reading too much into the way Sejanus seems to orbit you like you’re the sun, you just get to smile at the memory of the way his eyes crinkle with the intensity of his joy and the ghost of his warm palm on your back. And, no one can scold you for replaying these moments over and over, even though you’re much too nervous to ever say anything to Sejanus about the way your breath catches and your heart constricts whenever you see him.

It wasn't supposed to be like this. The notion of love he had always heard about was supposed to be warming, elating, uplifting—but the moment he laid eyes on you, it felt as though he had been quenched for the very first time. Your presence was like a balm to his soul, a sweet relief from the shadows that often haunted him. Yet, as soon as you were gone, an insatiable hunger gnawed at him, a deep yearning that could only be sated by your presence.

The way your smile rested softly on your lips, even in the midst of mundane tasks, sent waves of warmth through him, like sunlight breaking through a thick canopy of clouds. Each laugh, each twinkle in your eye, created ripples of joy in his heart. The softness of your voice wrapped around him like a comforting embrace, lulling his worries to sleep. Simply being in the same room as you was an intoxicating experience; it burned within him, a relentless ache that left him craving more.

“Is love really supposed to feel like this?” he pondered aloud, the weight of his emotions spilling into the stillness of the evening.

Orpheus sat across from him, a beer dangling precariously from his fingers, the amber liquid catching the dim light. The alcohol had begun to take its toll, a flush creeping under his eyes like a warning sign, illuminating the turmoil swirling within him.

“It’s a need,” he replied, his voice thick with emotion, each word a confession. “It brands you and won’t fade. Not until you have it, and then it’s just… exhilarating. You’ll do anything to keep it.”

Dionysus leaned in, his gaze locked onto his friend, his own beer warming under his touch, forgotten for the moment. The room felt charged with tension, a storm brewing beneath the surface. “Then what?”

“Then you’ll do anything to hold onto it. You pander, pine, possess—whatever it takes to keep them happy, content, fulfilled. At least, that’s what I thought. I did everything, every damn thing. But it still wasn’t enough. I failed to give her the one thing she truly needed.”

“What was it, man? What?” Dionysus urged, desperation lacing his words, his heart pounding in his chest like a war drum.

“Dependence. She needed to depend on me,” Orpheus slurred, the weight of his confession heavy in the air. He knocked the bottle over, and beer splattered across the table and onto the floor, a chaotic testament to his turmoil. “I needed her to need me… that’s it!” His voice cracked with emotion, the realization settling like a stone between them. You needed to need him. It was logical, after all. He was a God—or at least a demigod, the God of wine, pleasure, lust. Maybe now he could be love as well.

It wasn’t hard. You weren’t particularly guarded. Your fool of a family was perfectly happy to let you walk to your job, let you rent your own home, and come and go as you pleased. See a friend across town? Fine. Spend the night out of town? Cool. Wander off at short notice? Good—just send a little message to let them know you’re alive.

You nestled close to him, burrowed into his side as he peered down at your phone, the screen illuminating your face in the darkness, softening your features in a gentle glow. You would be asleep for a few more hours, at least, enough time to prepare.

“Are you sure, love? It is a big move?” Your mother typed into the group chat, her concern wrapped in layers of love.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I can’t turn it down. I leave tonight. I’ll be safe; I’m going with Dionysus, a friend from work. He is nice. You'd love him.” Dionysus felt a rush of adrenaline at the mention of his name, a mixture of pride and possessiveness flooding his veins. Even if it was him typing into your phone. Quickly he tapped out a reply, his heart racing as he felt your warmth against him.

“If you’re sure, love. Call soon, here if you need us,” your father responded in the group chat this time, the trust in his words echoing in the quiet room.

A smile stretched across Dionysus’s face, his pearly white teeth shining brightly in the neon light of the phone screen. It was too easy. Your family was just too trusting, just like you. You barely noticed him come up behind you.

You mumbled in your sleep, inching closer, a serene look on your face. As he tossed the phone to the floor, it smashed underfoot, the shards glinting in the dim light.

“It’s okay, darling. I’ve got you. I’m here, always here. You don’t need them anymore.” His voice was a soothing whisper, thick with the promise of protection and possession, wrapping around you like a silken thread that would bind you to him forever.

In that moment, as he watched you breathe, the weight of his longing turned into a fierce determination. Dionysus felt the world narrow to just the two of you, an electric charge filling the space between your hearts. With every fiber of his being, he knew he would do whatever it took to keep you close, to make you his. Your independence would be his canvas, a space where he could paint the masterpiece of a love that was all-consuming, all-encompassing. And as you nestled against him, blissfully unaware, he vowed to be the force that anchored you to him, to make you see that with him, you would never need to walk alone again.

enjoy this rambling i found in my notes app after i listened to the ascendancy trilogy audiobooks for the first time. i was working on my final animation project and i literally had to stop and write this down in the studio at like two am

it is SO heartbreaking ‘re-reading’ thrawn ascendancy. Like it just hurts my soul a little bit. I’m near the end of the third book after the final battle and GOD. Every character mentioned has such a distinct personality. Everything meshes together. The perspectives come from every single person EXCEPT thrawn. In a book about him. GENIUS.

The eventual trust that forms between Samakro and Thalias as well… after so much drama… honestly. Both of them as characters are so potent and persuading… they are real in my mind. And in my mind they are happy. (Also. I think I ship it)

AND ZIINDA… my love for her. A flawed character, but likable for relatable reasons. Her old doubts shadow her but she Persists. And does the right thing!!!! Also the way she’s voiced in the audiobook is just so fun. Like a reserved, slightly southern accent. Her and Sakmaro’s voices are so good. Each characterizes them PERFECTLY. Thank god for good voice actors to read my Star Wars audiobooks 🙏

IT WAS A PUNCH IN THE FUCKING GUT when Thrass was first mentioned because I knew what was coming. As did everyone else. But the memory interludes… good god. Those two deserved to live and thrive together it HURTS. And seeing Thrass’ view of thrawn through his perspective… they are BROTHERSSS. THRAWN NEEDED THAT BRO. And the words repeated from outbound flight in the last flashback… I cried in the studio. A single tear ran down my face bro PLEASEEEEE and I am DREADING the final flashback. 7. Your favorite kira?

Assuming this q means aside from my beloved bb Light, that would be Misa. I just love how unapologetic she is about murdering, I love how unabashedly she pursues the things she wants, I love how she doesn't give a shit as to whether Light means the things he says and long as he plays house with her nicely like a good dolly. I love how twisted and devoid she's become on the inside in the process of trying to run away from herself. She and Light both succeed in this; they have excised themselves from their bodies and live on as hollow facsimiles of the people they used to be. They are perfect for each other, in a way. The ideal toxic duo to rule over Light's new world.

I feel that Light really underestimated how essential Misa's willingness was to keeping his plans in check. Takada had too much self-respect for there to not be some conflict arising down the road, the same as which happened with Mikami. She was more emotionally mature and Light had to maintain the more difficult lie of something approaching authenticity with her. If Light wanted the perfect queen, it really only could have been Misa who filled those shoes to his expectations.

13. Favorite ships?

Classic Lawlight, who can resist the web of their toxicity? 😩 They really are two sides of the same coin. Very early on into my death note journey I came across this reddit post discussing the possible intentional coding of Light & L as sex symbols (in the anime, I believe). And while I don't agree with every point the op makes, I do find it interesting to consider how this coding affects our perception of their interactions, & intensifies the conflict between them in an eroticized way.

Second favorite would be Matsulight. The warehouse scene is just so, so soul-crushing for me, and I like to imagine what could happen if it was amplified to 1000. I talked about it extensively on this post, but to quote myself in summary:

It's just so heartbreaking to watch the one person who trusted Light entirely, fall apart under revelation of the truth. And cathartic too, to see the depth of Light's betrayal embodied in Matsuda's visceral rage. In a room full of grim and stone-faced people, Matsuda is the only one whose grief flows freely. Light was not in his right mind enough to realize it, but he died with the possibility of knowing that someone had cared about him enough to grieve him, and do so immensely.

(Also, I one of the first fics that I ever read for DN was Matsulight & it really compelled me. I went back to read it recently & I realized it was your fic. You did such an incredible job 😭. It's one of my all-time favorites!!!)

Third favorite, I've been getting into Misa/Takada lately. I feel like there's a lot of detestation & potential poisonous energy between them waiting to be explored. They are both such different entities, & interact with Light & the death note & their own internal selves in entirely different ways.

I LOVE the composition of this image. The way Light is in the foreground as the subject but frames Naomi as the centerpiece, with Ryuk and Raye lurking in the background... *chefs kiss* brilliant. Also love the grim reaper connotations with the scythe; Misa's accompanying grim reaper art is a close second for that reason too.
