Assalamu’Alaikum,
I’ve known this person for a long time now and we would both like to get married, have our nikkah done. But there are so many hardships along the way and they’re all being placed upon my shoulders. I’m going to be 26 this year and I’m so terrified that nothing will work out in my life. Please keep me in your duaas. For Allah to make a way out for us.
Jazak’Allah Khayr.
Wa 'alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
I'm so sorry you're going through this tough time. May Allah grant you the guidance, patience and strength to deal with this, ameen.
Have you done istikhara? Your answer to the istikara lies in if Allah makes things easy or hard for what you performed istikhara for (in this case, would be marriage to the person you have mentioned). Keep praying istikhara, do it daily if needed, and Allah will guide your way. Be alert of your sign. If Allah makes things easier, gives you a light of hope, Alhumdulilah! Keep pushing forward to make the marriage happen and Allah is on your side! But if hardships increase, don't try to force something Allah knows is not good for you:
"Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know."
— Quran, 2:216
"I’m going to be 26 this year and I’m so terrified that nothing will work out in my life." woah woah, 26 is way too young to say that statement bro/sis! That's maybe just a third of life. Have faith in Allah brother/sister. Allah won't leave you in this state. Hardships come and they also go. Things will work out in your life in such a beautiful manner if you put your trust in His plans. He knows best for us and He will give us just that! Don't lose hope, and know all the hardships that you are going through right now is part of Allah's plan. Our hardships are often, if not always, the foundation of the blessings Allah has prepared for us. This I witnessed over and over again in life and I'm sure if you reflect, you'll find this somewhere in your past too.
I would also like to add, if another person is causing these hardships to be placed upon you, communication is key. You must communicate to that person how they are impacting you and the person you wish to marry. Sometimes others don't realize what they are doing. Don't keep it all in, talk about it in a calm and wise manner. Sometimes, that's really all that is needed.
May Allah make things easier for you, may He grant you happiness in this world and the next. May He increase you in guidance and certainty, ameen.

How to Perform Istikhara: A Step-by-Step Guide
Istikhara is a beautiful prayer that allows Muslims to seek guidance from Allah when faced with uncertainty or important decisions. Whether it's about choosing a career path, deciding on marriage, or making life-altering choices, Istikhara is a way to turn to Allah for clarity and support. This guide will provide a detailed guide on how to pray Istikhara step by step, so you can perform this prayer with confidence and understanding.
What Is Istikhara?
The word Istikhara means seeking goodness or guidance. It’s a Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and serves as a means of asking Allah to guide us toward what is best for us in this world and the hereafter.
When Should You Pray Istikhara?
Istikhara can be performed when you're faced with a decision and want Allah's guidance. This might include decisions about education, work opportunities, business ventures, or personal relationships. It’s important to remember that Istikhara is not just about making a “yes or no” decision but seeking Allah’s blessing and direction.
Preparing for Istikhara
Before performing Istikhara, take the following steps:
Have a Clear Intention: Decide what decision you need guidance on. Be specific in your intention.
Seek Advice from Others: The Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged consultation. Speak with trusted friends, family, or mentors who may have experience or wisdom about your situation.
Perform Ablution (Wudu): Like any prayer, you need to be in a state of physical purity before performing Istikhara.
Step-by-Step Guide to Praying Istikhara
Here’s a detailed guide on how to pray Istikhara step by step:
Pray Two Units of Salah (Rak’ahs):
Begin by making a sincere intention for Istikhara.
In the first rak’ah, you can recite Surah Al-Fatiha followed by any other surah or verses from the Quran. Similarly, do the same for the second rak’ah.
Recite the Istikhara Dua: After completing the two rak’ahs, recite the Istikhara supplication (Dua al-Istikhara). The dua is as follows:“O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge and power through Your might, for You can do everything, and I cannot. You know everything, and I do not. You are the Knower of the unseen...” (The full dua can be found in hadith compilations or Islamic resources.)When saying the dua, mention your specific concern in the appropriate part of the supplication. For example, if deciding on a job, you might say, "If this job is good for me in my faith, life, and outcome, then guide me toward it."
Place Your Trust in Allah: After praying, leave the matter in Allah’s hands. There’s no specific sign you need to wait for. Trust that whatever unfolds is what Allah has decreed to be best for you.
Common Questions About Istikhara
Do You Have to See a Dream? It’s a common misconception that Istikhara always leads to a dream. While some people may experience dreams or feelings of clarity, others might not. The essence of Istikhara is trusting Allah’s plan, not waiting for supernatural signs.
Can You Perform Istikhara More Than Once? Yes, you can repeat Istikhara if you still feel uncertain or need further reassurance. It shows persistence in seeking Allah’s guidance.
What If You Don’t Feel a Clear Answer? Sometimes, the answer lies in how events unfold. Have faith that Allah is guiding you toward what is best, even if it’s not immediately clear.
Final Thoughts
Istikhara is a reminder of our dependence on Allah and the importance of aligning our decisions with His wisdom. Whether or not you feel an immediate result, trust that Allah is directing you toward what is good for you in this life and the hereafter.

How to perform Salat-l-Istikhara
Salat-l-Istikhara
Anytime a Muslim is making a decision, he or she should seek Allah’s guidance and wisdom. Allah alone knows what is best for us, and there may be good in what we perceive as bad, and bad in what we perceive as good.
If you are ambivalent or unsure about a decision you have to make, there is a specific prayer for guidance (Salat-l-Istikhara) that you can do to ask for Allah’s help in making your decision. Should you marry this certain person? Should you attend this graduate school? Should you take this job offer or that one? Allah knows what is best for you, and if you are not sure about a choice that you have, seek His guidance.
Salat al-Istikhara is a powerful tool that Allah has given us to ask His guidance in all matters. We should not hesitate to pray Istikhara before making any choice in our lives, big or small.
It’s important to do this prayer with sincerity, knowing in our hearts that only Allah can give us the guidance we seek, and resolved to follow the guidance He gives us, even if it clashes with our own desires.
We should also say the dua with firm conviction, not begging or pleading, but asking Allah clearly for guidance.
And we should not be impatient after our dua. We do not put Allah on a timetable. And we should not expect some sort of miracle, or a dream full of signs and symbols. These things are not necessary. We simply say our prayers and trust that Allah has heard us and will answer us in the way that is best.
Salat-l-Istikhara is described in the Hadith narration below.
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: The Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam used to teach us the way of doing istikhara (istikhara means to ask Allah to guide one to the right sort of action concerning any job or a deed), in all matters as he taught us the Surats of the Quran. He said, “If anyone of you thinks of doing any job he should offer a two Rakat prayer other than the compulsory ones and say (after the prayer):
‘Allahumma inni astakhiruka bi’ilmika, Wa astaqdiruka bi-qudratika, Wa as’alaka min fadlika al-‘azlm Fa-innaka taqdiru Wala aqdiru, Wa ta’lamu Wala a’lamu, Wa anta ‘allamu l-ghuyub. Allahumma, in kunta ta’lam anna hadha-l-amra Khairun li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa’aqibati amri (or ‘ajili amri wa’ajilihi) Faqdirhu wa yas-sirhu li thumma barik li Fihi, Wa in kunta ta’lamu anna hadha-lamra shar-run li fi dini wa ma’ashi wa’aqibati amri (or fi’ajili amri wa ajilihi) Fasrifhu anni was-rifni anhu. Waqdir li al-khaira haithu kana Thumma ardini bihi.’
(O Allah! I ask guidance from Your knowledge, And Power from Your Might and I ask for Your great blessings. You are capable and I am not. You know and I do not and You know the unseen. O Allah! If You know that this job is good for my religion and my subsistence and in my Hereafter–(or said: If it is better for my present and later needs)–Then You ordain it for me and make it easy for me to get, And then bless me in it, and if You know that this job is harmful to me In my religion and subsistence and in the Hereafter–(or said: If it is worse for my present and later needs)–Then keep it away from me and let me be away from it. And ordain for me whatever is good for me, And make me satisfied with it). The Prophet added that then the person should name (mention) his need.
Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 21 Hadith 263
* When making the dua, the actual matter or decision should be mentioned instead of the words “hathal-amra” (“this matter”).
What needs to be noted is that the answer to one’s istikhara prayer does not come simply in the form of dreams and feelings but in how Allah facilitates and unfolds events for an individual after he or she genuinely strives to do what is best.
Take the most effective means, which includes consulting those whose knowledge and wisdom one has confidence in, and place your trust in Allah.
Lastly, one needs to be patient in terms of receiving the answer to their prayers. Remember the words of our Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam, “The supplication of everyone is granted as long as he does not show haste and does not say that he made a supplication but it was not accepted.” [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah]
And Allah knows best, He is the All-Seeing, All-Hearing, the best Planner. May He guide us and ease all our difficulties. Ameen.

Istikhara
A step by step guide to have a direct link with Allah (SWT).
This life is a combination of constant trials and the choices we end up making. Often, we are faced with life-changing decisions where we find ourselves unsure and uncertain of which choices would prove to be beneficial for us. The truth is, man, can never be truly certain about what will turn out to be better for him – only Allah (SWT) possesses that quality. It is only Him who is All-Seeing and All-Knowing and it is only Allah (SWT) who knows what is better for us, not only in this world but in the Hereafter as well. So why do we delude ourselves into thinking that we can achieve success or happiness in our affairs in this world or the next, without Allah’s (SWT) guidance? We cannot.
Hence, Allah (SWT) has equipped humanity with a special tool of guidance, which serves as a direct link between man and Allah (SWT): the Salat al-Istikhara. The word istikhara literally means to ask Allah (SWT) for guidance when it comes to making a decision regarding something. In other words, it means to seek Allah’s (SWT) guidance in making the ‘right’ and more beneficial decision by means of prayer. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to encourage all his companions to offer Salat al-Istikhara for all their decisions – no matter how big or small those decisions were. The purpose of the prayer is to fully surrender to Allah’s (SWT) will and command and trust Him to lead you to what is better for you.
Here is a step by step guide on how to perform the istikhara prayer:
When do you pray Istikhara?
If you find yourself at a crossroad and you do not know what is the ‘right’ choice or what is the ‘better’ decision to make, you offer the prayer of istikhara. However, it is only applicable for a decision that is related to something that is permissible. Deliberating on things, which are sinful or haram in nature renders the istikhara prayer invalid. For example, if you have two job offers and you do not know which one you should go for, you should perform istikhara in order to come to the right decision. The individual seeking Allah’s (SWT) help in making a certain decision must have good intent and sincerity in his heart.
However it is not necessary that you only do istikhara for decisions over which you have a dilemma, you can also do istikhara for any decision you are about to make no matter how big or small it is.
How do you offer Salat al-Istikhara?
Once you have made the intention of offering istikhara, you must offer two rakahs of prayer after performing your obligatory prayers (any obligatory prayer) and upon offering the two rakahs, recite the following dua that has been provided to us by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the following hadith:
“The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to teach his companions to make istikhara in all matters, just as he used to teach them Surahs from the Quran. He said: ‘If anyone of you is deliberating about a decision he has to make, then let him pray two rak’ahs of non-obligatory prayer, then say:
“Allaahumma inni astakheeruka bi ‘ilmika wa astaqdiruka bi qudratika wa as’aluka min fadlika, fa innaka taqdiru wa laa aqdir, wa ta’lamu wa laa a’lam, wa anta ‘allaam al-ghuyoob. Allaahumma fa in kunta ta’lamu haadha’l-amra (then the matter should be mentioned by name) khayran li fi ‘aajil amri wa aajilihi (or: fi deeni wa ma’aashi wa ‘aaqibati amri) faqdurhu li wa yassirhu li thumma baarik li fihi. Allaahumma wa in kunta ta’lamu annahu sharrun li fi deeni wa ma’aashi wa ‘aaqibati amri (or: fi ‘aajili amri wa aajilihi) fasrifni ‘anhu [wasrafhu ‘anni] waqdur li al-khayr haythu kaana thumma radini bihi”
(O Allah, I seek Your guidance [in making a choice] by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. And You know, I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things. O Allah, if in Your knowledge, this matter (then it should be mentioned by name) is good for me both in this world and in the Hereafter (or: in my religion, my livelihood, and my affairs), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge it is bad for me and for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs (or: for me both in this world and the next), then turn me away from it, [and turn it away from me], and ordain for me the good wherever it may be and make me pleased with it).” (Bukhari, 1166)
After offering Salat al-istikhara, surrender to the Will of the Almighty with your whole heart and put your trust in His infinite Wisdom and guidance. It is important to note that offering istikhara does not necessarily mean that the answer will come to you in the form of dreams or visions. In fact, Allah (SWT) embeds the answer in the heart of the believer and guides the course of action the believer takes from then on. Once you pray istikhara and you leave your affairs, and their possible outcomes, in the hands of Allah (SWT), you will feel yourself being inclined towards what is better for you – the answer resides in the natural direction that you start taking post istikhara, you must trust it. Allah (SWT) unfolds events in a certain way that automatically lead to the outcome that is beneficial for you in not only this world but the Hereafter as well.
Moreover, you must also learn to exercise patience. You cannot expect the answer to just drop in your lap from the sky the very next day. Allah (SWT) will present you with the right direction and answer when He feels you are ready to receive it and when the time is right for you. Until then, you must follow your gut and keep striving towards what you want to achieve. Keep making dua and have tawakkal – Allah (SWT) will never let you down and inshaAllah the decision you make after the istikhara will be the better decision for you.
If you have surrendered to the Will of Allah (SWT) and you trust Him to guide you to what is best for you, then you have nothing to worry about.

Assalamualaikum. Hope you’re doing well.
I needed a little help. Hope I don’t sound awkward.
There’s this guy i’ve been talking to since August 2020. In September, I asked Allah to give me a sign if He thinks this guy is good for me. For this, I opened the Quran randomly and the first ayah which caught my eye was “and among His signs is this that He created for you mates from among yourselves that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your hearts. Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.”
Do you think it was really Allah giving me a sign or should I just dismiss it as a mere coincidence?
Also, I’ve stopped talking to him. I don’t know what Allah wants me to do :(
Wa 'alaykum assalam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
alhumdulilah, jazakillah khayr for asking. Hope you are well yourself in sha Allah <3
My dear ukhty, that is not the authentic way of istikhara. It has no basis in islam to do istikhara in that way and it is a bid'ah. Therefore, that answer was invalid.
The way to do istikhara is pray 2 rakaat and to recite the dua for istikhara.
Here you can find the dua for istikhara: https://www.islamicfinder.org/duas/masnoon/for-istikhara/
At -هَذَا الْأَمْرَ is where you need to mention the need (read the translation in the link to see what I mean)
do istikhara and do what you think is the better route. If Allah facilitates it for you, makes it easy for you, then His answer was positive. If you find difficulties, externally and internally, then His answer was negative. You can do istikhara multiple times as well.
May Allah grant you clarity and make it easy for you. May He bless you with a righteous spouse, ameen ya rabb <3

How to Perform Istikhara: A Step-by-Step Guide
When faced with an important decision, seeking guidance through Istikhara prayer is a deeply meaningful practice in Islam. It’s a way to ask Allah for help in making the right choice, whether it's related to relationships, work, or any other significant aspect of life. Understanding how to perform Istikhara properly can bring peace of mind and clarity in uncertain situations.
What is Istikhara?
Istikhara is an Arabic term that means "to seek goodness" or "to ask for the best." It is a prayer that allows you to ask Allah for guidance when making decisions. It’s not about having a direct sign or a dream, but rather about putting trust in Allah’s wisdom and waiting for the best outcome to unfold.
How to Perform Istikhara
Make a sincere intention (niyyah): Before you begin, you should have a clear intention about the decision you are seeking guidance for. It could be a choice regarding a job offer, a relationship, or any matter that is causing you uncertainty.
Pray two voluntary rak’ahs: You start by praying two rak'ahs (units of prayer) as a way to seek Allah’s help. You can do this at any time, but it’s better to perform it during times when Allah’s mercy is abundant, such as after the Fajr (dawn) prayer or the Tahajjud (night) prayer.
Recite the Istikhara Dua: After completing the two rak'ahs, you recite the Istikhara dua. This is a special supplication asking Allah to guide you to the best choice. The dua is as follows:اللهم إني استخيرك بعلمك واستقدرك بقدرتك واسالك من فضلك العظيم"O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge and seek Your assistance through Your power, and ask You from Your immense favor, for You are able and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen."After reciting the dua, mention the specific decision you're making. Ask Allah to guide you toward what is best for you in this life and the hereafter.
Trust in Allah’s wisdom: After making your Istikhara prayer and supplication, trust that Allah will guide you to the best outcome. You may notice signs or feel a sense of peace or discomfort regarding your decision. It’s important to remain patient and allow things to unfold in their own time.
Take action: While Istikhara helps to seek divine guidance, it’s essential to take action and make a decision. Istikhara does not remove your ability to make choices; instead, it helps you to feel more confident that you’re moving in the right direction.
Signs After Istikhara
After performing Istikhara, it’s common to wait for some time to notice any signs or changes in how you feel about your decision. These signs may not always come in the form of dreams or visions, but could manifest in subtle ways:
Feeling a sense of peace: If you feel calm and content about a particular choice, it may be a sign that it is the right one for you.
Things fall into place easily: If events begin to align smoothly or opportunities present themselves, it might be an indication that Allah has made the path easier for you.
Difficulty or obstacles: If you feel resistance or complications arise, it could be a sign that the decision might not be right for you.
Remember, Istikhara is not about having an immediate, clear answer; it's about trusting in Allah’s plan and being open to the guidance He provides.
Continue to Seek Knowledge
Performing Istikhara can be an important part of your spiritual journey. To enhance your understanding of Islamic practices and prayers, consider exploring more about the Quran and its teachings. A great resource for learning more is Riwaq Al Quran, a platform that offers valuable insights into the Quranic verses and Islamic principles. The more you understand, the more connected you’ll feel in your daily acts of worship.
In conclusion, learning how to perform Istikhara and placing your trust in Allah can bring peace and clarity to your decisions. While there’s no guaranteed sign, the sense of reassurance that comes from knowing you’ve asked for divine guidance can be invaluable in moving forward with confidence.

Remember the words of our Prophet salallahu alaihi wasallam, “The supplication of everyone is granted as long as he does not show haste and does not say that he made a supplication but it was not accepted.” [Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah] And Allah knows best, He is the All-Seeing, All-Hearing, the best Planner. May He guide us and ease all our difficulties. Ameen.

Karobari bandish
Do you know what Istikhara is? Today we will describe Online Istikhara in complete detail.
According to many resources, I found one thing about Isitkhara,
“Finding sort of blessing in any matter is called Istikhara”.
If you look at this sentence you will find the answer of your question.
“If you seek the blessing from Allah, he will bless you definitely”.
If you seek guidance from Allah he will bless you definitely in any issue that Allah advise us to do.
Imam Novi (R.A) said while explaining Sahi Muslim Hadith that
“Seeking or finding advice or suggestion from Allah and from Islamic Scholars is must because generally a man is not perfect in his knowledge and its level of thinking is not mature, because it is born weaker.”
It feels confusion and ambiguity on several occasions’ weather to or not?
Objective of Istikhara
Islam is a complete code of life for every human being on earth. It guides the every human being in every field of life.
Every human being on earth has to take many decisions which reflect his economy, social life and his own peace of mind. Istikhara is a legal and better way according to Sharia and more authentic method for taking advice from Allah in every field of life.
It is used to find advice from Allah beyond all wrong practices, prohibited practices or non-Islamic techniques, and of course beyond all the magical powers of Shaitan.
This method is known to ask Allah’s advice or suggestion, before deciding to act on certain businesses or many decisions.
It asks blessings from Allah for routine life. It is a fruitful thing for all Muslims and in its front face because it is a legal and pure way to seek blessing from Allah.

As how much is istikhara important for life.Syedna Jabir bin Abduallah (R.A) narrated that Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) teaches us Dua of Istikhara as he teaches us other Quranic verses also for our life.”
• Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) further teaches us that you should Offer 2 Rakat Nafal prayer and ask Dua for Istikhara when someone from you feels difficulty or problem.
Benefits of Istikhara
It is the most famous quote, “All the Shining Things are Not Gold”.
Online Istikhara is the best method to avoid un-necessary fears, difficulties, and problems. Having possible losses by making decisions on optimistic approaches.
It is said by the scholars that “Decisions such as marriages, businesses are like the deal of fist for all and it is our faith.”
When we talk in Istikhara perspective, the standard of success and failure of these people is totally wrong in now days.
For example, people assume wealth as the key of success in marriages and other areas of life.
Basic Stages of Online Istikhara

May Allah reward them. 🌈 I am grateful to have been able to rely upon their help in my 'Aneesa Books' independent publishing venture, seeking the pleasure of Allah SWT. 🌈 These donors are valuable members of a small group of supporters who have entrusted me with financial aid and insha'Allah I want to reward them. I want to entrust them with insights into my forthcoming books, long in advance of publication, and via media the public won't access insha'Allah. 🌈 With gratitude, today I invited my longstanding supporters to access a forthcoming children's story through a private, unlisted YouTube video—years prior to it becoming a book insha'Allah. 🌈 Now I extend my invitation to you. No donation towards my illustration, publishing, and marketing costs is too small. Please PayPal me via [email protected] and contact me at that address if you are interested in joining our little community of Aneesa Books supporters. 🌈 Alhamdulillah, I decided to embark on delivering exclusive-access gifts after voicing my financial needs to Allah, reflecting, and making istikhara. Part 1: New year coming but I’m still so extremely exhausted. When will this hardship last. Wallahi I’ve been praying nonstop and wishing for the best but everything just keeps getting worse. I’m so tired I’m slowly giving up I’m loosing hope I’m dying in the inside. And being a Muslim girl it’s hard to talk to my parents about everything because it deals with a guy. I’ve tired everything I really don’t know what to do anymore. I hate this pain. I can’t breath, I can’t breath, I can’t stop cryin
Part 2: I can’t sleep anymore I can’t eat or drink or talk or smile I feel so weak I’m so terribly tired. If he wasn’t meant for me why would Allah swt wait 5 years to end it? And why have I been getting good signs if everything keeps getting worse ya rab I’m so angry. It hurts seeing my mom look at me the way she does because she keeps asking me what’s wrong and I can never tell her. I lost myself. I’m so sensitive and no one understands no one will ever understand this pain.
Part 3: my dear sister I don’t wish this pain upon my worst enemy. Everything is falling apart. My friends father who is a sheikh did a marriage istikhara and it all came out positive between us but why, why is this happening. I don’t think I can live without him. May Allah reward you for your time :(
Assalamualikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuh my love,
My sister, Allah knows and in sha Allah this hardship will end soon. Until then, put your complete and absolute trust in Allah. Remember Allah’s timings and plans are wise and perfect - perfect timing included. I can understand, you feel exhausted, you feel you’re giving your best to Allah yet things aren’t getting better. Where is the help of Allah? I’m praying, I’m making dua, I’m doing this and that to please Him - so why are things not getting better? They will in sha Allah, He may be testing and building your patience and love for Him. You may be questioning if Allah is even listening, He is my sister.
And you’re not alone in feeling such a way:
“Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,“When is the help of Allah ?” Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.” [Quran, 2:214]
Commentary: “Lit., “while yet there has not come to you the like of [what has come to] those who passed away before you”. This passage connects with the words, “God guides onto a straight way him that wills [to be guided]”, which occur at the end of the preceding verse. The meaning is that intellectual cognition of the truth cannot, by itself, be a means of attaining to ultimate bliss: it must be complemented by readiness to sacrifice and spiritual purification through suffering.”
This above gives me great hope, even their messenger questioned where is the help of Allah? Alhumdulilah we aren’t experiencing tests as severe as messengers and their companions faced. Only Allah knows when He’ll set things straight for you, but until then - with the trust and hope in Allah - “And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah ]” [Quran, 2:45]
Don’t lose hope, your life is in Allah’s hands and He will take care of you, even if things do not work out with this man you’re referring to. Everything in this world is temporary, including your sorrow but Allah gave us a guide to navigating life’s problems, the Quran. Find comfort in the Quran and be guided on how you should act during tests, Allah reassures us time and time again in the Quran and shows His miracles - it will help you and increase you in tawakkul.
Be patient my love, good things will come to you soon in sha Allah. Stay optimistic and think good of Allah. Shaitaan will try to break your hope and trust in return, say: Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah Wah-dahu la sharika Lahu; wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasuluhu, radhitu Billahi Rabban, wa bi Muhammadin Rasulan, wa bil Islami Dinan I testify that there is no true god except Allah Alone; He has no partners and that Muhammad (ﷺ) is His slave and Messenger; I am content with Allah as my Rubb, with Muhammad as my Messenger and with Islam as my Deenit drives him away, I’ve tried it! And saying the above reassures our hearts - we are pleased with Allah, Muhammad ﷺ, and islam, and this will please Allah too. Now that we’re mentioning this, we should say this after adhan as well as a hadith says:Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “He who says after the Adhan: ‘Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah Wah-dahu la sharika Lahu; wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasuluhu, radhitu Billahi Rabban, wa bi Muhammadin Rasulan, wa bil Islami Dinan’ his sins will be forgiven.”[Muslim].
Going back, also when shaitaan is making you feel miserable, increase your ibadah - your love for Allah will grow and Shaitan’s effects on you will lessen in sha Allah.
‘Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “The most hope-inspiring verse in the Quran is the verse in which Allah The Almighty Says (what means): {And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.} [Quran 42:30] Then, he, may Allah be pleased with him, commented, “If He expiates my sins by afflictions and pardons much, so what should remain after His expiation and pardon?”
“No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah . And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things.” [Quran, 64:11]

I said in a previous ask: “don’t lose hope in Allah’s mercy and always believe that Allah does what is best for us, even though it may feel like the opposite. He is the all-wise, the all-knowing. He knows and we do not know. He wants good for us, we cause our own destruction. He is the Merciful, Forbearing, and Compassionate. The Loving and the Giver. Nothing supersedes His wisdom.”

May Allah help you sister, ameen. I will make dua for you. I hope for the best for you. Take care of yourself, and never lose hope in Allah and never leave Him. Love you sis ❤️❤️❤️ Things will get better in sha Allah! Take care of your needs, eat and sleep well - don’t torture yourself. Treat your mother well, try to be happy in front of her. Don’t torture yourself, everything will be okay in the end in sha Allah - tawakkul is key, most times we never know how things will turn out and we do not know how our life will turn out to be, so we must rely on Allah and trust Him at all times 💕
