Its as if the world behind the glass wants to come out. It’s a little eerie but also beautiful and I want to explore it and admire it from afar at the same time.

“Tilly Losch Footprint” Carpet,’ 1950,
Monkton House, South Downs, West Sussex, United Kingdom,
The Surrealist British poet Edward James was so in love with his ballerina wife, Tilly Losch, that when he saw a trail of her wet footprints up the stairs after her bath, he had them woven into the carpet. He also created a stairwell lined in a carpet woven with his dog’s paw-prints.

Calling all Brits on this hellsite.
We all saw Elon Musk do the nazi salute at the Trump inauguration. We know that he is influencing and fanning the flames of right wing political parties.
And that very well may include ours.
Because Elon Musk has pledged to donate $100 million to the Reform party. He has since mentioned that it might be hard to give such a large sum now.
But I don’t think we should take our chances. And I think we can agree that letting billionaires influence our countries politics is a terrible idea.
If you also agree here’s a link to a Parliament petition.
It calls for the government to remove loopholes that allow wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties (e.g. by funnelling through UK registered companies).
As it is a parliament petition the government are required to debate it in parliament. But for that to happen it needs to reach 100,000 signatures.
Non British folk I’m afraid you guys can’t sign but I encourage you guys to reblog so that more people can see this.

I sense a grace misunderstanding in your words. The visitors are not our enemies for all our welcome in this country make no mistake.
But when you visit a country it is common fact that you abide by their rules for the duration of your stay.
This is one of ours.
You are not simply exempt from it just because you are a traveler. Oh you’ll be informed of course should you choose to enter. But it doesn’t hurt to spread that information.
There are consequences for missing the tea alarm just as there are for murder or theft. Every single person who inhabits this country is made aware of that from childhood.
And I find it quite curious that when I am unaware of other countries traditions such as not knowing what was a s’more was. I am corrected and informed by the masses and thankful for their kindness.
And yet when I do the same for arguably a more important reason. I am dismissed in disbelief and compared to that rat bastard.
Accused of sowing the seeds of alarm and fear when I only wish to prepare others in advance. To not cause them pain but rather to avoid it.
Because at the end of the day I only wish to protect my country, those who inhabit it and its visitors. And for that I feel Kunikida would understand my stance on things.
Though of course he would only follow the rule if he believed in it as he does with all rules. But just because he didn’t believe it doesn’t mean he would condone others for breaking it.
Especially when they are guests in another’s home.
Whether you choose to believe that there is a tea alarm or not is entirely up to you. You cannot force a person to drink tea and you cannot force them to follow a law.
But know this, whatever you choose the swans are watching.
THE TEA TIME ALARM IN THE UK IS A REAL FUCKIN THING?!
YOU HAVE TO STOP WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU'RE DOING TO HAVE TEA?!
WHAT IF YOU CAN'T?!
***WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON'T HAVE TEA?!***

I have got to say that the Leftist boycott of JK Rowling has not exactly been inspiring. Ironically, twitter still has a lot of Leftists working for it, so any loss of customers would be a good excuse to get rid of them.
But I do encourage every Leftist to go to somewhere else, and never return. Nobody needs to hear from you again.
But Leftists need to cancel people. How can they do that when they won't share a platform with outsiders in the first place?!
