You sighed as you threw your head backwards and stared at the ceiling, the pencil that you were holding dropped onto the desk.

"I give up." You groaned into your hands.

It has only been fifteen minutes since you started to sketch random objects in the room. You thought having your mind run wild with imaginations by adding some twists to them would be the cure to your boredom. 

But it clearly backfired, it required too much thinking.

If anything, it made you feel even more bored than before, if that was even possible.

Heck, you even tried to watch the raindrops sliding down the window pane, pretending that they were racing against each other! 

No matter how much effort you put into distracting your bored out mind, you were too occupied with thoughts of your lover. 

A week ago, the Tsrista had sent out an order to Dottore, there was a mission that required his assistance in the far lands of Sumeru. And since this was an order from the Cryo Archon herself, there was no way he could decline even if he wanted to. 

So reluctantly, you had to let him go for you didn't even know how long. 

Without his goofy laughs and your daily dose of kisses, you felt lonely…

Especially with how your work schedule has been pretty hectic lately. Just as you thought you could have some peaceful moments with Dottore, he had to leave.

What kind of cruel joke was this?

What to do now… You thought as you closed your eyes.

Reopening your eyes again, you focused on your hearing and could make out faint footsteps walking past your room along with a grumpy voice.

"I can't believe Delta messed all of this up! More work for me, ugh."

You gasped a bit when a sudden idea came to mind. 

How fun would it be if you cuddled all of them at once?

You were getting a little giddy about your genius idea but then a realization made you doubt your plan.

They are probably busy though… You let out a huff.

Before Dottore left, he had given out a task for each of them to complete. He expected them to finish everything he asked of them by the time he returned.

But a fifteen minute break for them wouldn't hurt, right? You reasoned.

As you slammed the laboratory doors open, you slightly cringed at the loud noise it made when it hit the wall, startling some of the segments.

"(Y/n), my dear. You could've just knocked next time," Omega lightly scolded you.

Smiling at him sheepishly, you lightly scratched your neck.

"Haha, sorry."

He shook his head, chuckling at how adorable you were.

"Well, what brings you here?"

Right. 

"So I was thinking… if we could all cuddle together?" You asked. 

Your voice wasn't loud enough to reach the other segments, but they could still make out the words "we" and "cuddle". All of them instantly dropped what they were doing and surrounded you.

Getting affection from their darling? And with no Prime around? Who would pass up such a great offer?

"Are we gonna cuddle?!"

"Can we really?"

"Cuddling? I wanna join!"

Well, that was a lot easier than you thought it'd be.

Oh, how you loved their happy little faces as they trailed behind you, with you leading them to your room.

The moment you got into your room, you laid down onto your bed and sprawled your limbs out, inviting them to come join you.

One by one, each of them plopped themselves down onto the bed with you. 

Some of them held onto your arms while some intertwined their legs with yours, and a head was laid against your torso.

Though, even with this king-sized bed, it could barely fit all of them. 

Theta moved around a little to find a comfortable position when he accidentally kicked someone.

"Ow! Who kicked me?!" Delta yelped.

"Deserved, you gave me more work to do by spilling the serum everywhere!"

"Oh my— Whoever has their feet near my face, please move. It smells of rotten flesh." Omega covered his nose from… whoever feet that was.

Well, this was definitely a bit hard to get used to with how much weight was laying on top of you. 

You weren't complaining though, the weather was a bit colder than usual and they made such a great heat source.

Their bickerings died down and silence soon took over the room, only to be occasionally broken with some light snores and the soft sounds of rain hitting the window.

Ah, life was good.

After a week of being away from the comfort of the palace, he was finally back from the mission and he felt like he would pass out any moment.

The mission he came back from was hell even though it was a success in the end. Nonetheless, he was now back and he had missed you dearly.

Though before going to your room, he was looking forward to seeing how his personal project was coming along. He had calculated that by the time he came back, it would've been completed by his segments.

However, all he saw was an empty lab. What's even stranger was that the work was half-done.

Where did they go? They wouldn't abandon their work like this unless it was an emergency…

Dottore turned back and walked to your room, afraid that something might have happened.

The sight he was greeted with made his blood boil. His segments were slacking off, hugging you as they slept. But when he got closer and took a glance at you, he noticed how peaceful you looked, and it's been a long time since he had seen you this relaxed.

You were complaining about how your work was stressing you out and you weren't able to get some proper rest.

Well, he supposed he'd let his segments off the hook this time for helping you to relax.

Though, his chest tightened at the realization that he wasn't the one who was holding you.

It was his turn now.

He nudged one of the segments awake, and soon the others began to wake up as well at the movement. Miraculously, you were still sound asleep.

All of them stiffened at the sight of Prime glaring at them, oh boy, they could already hear the mouthful lecture they'd get later.

"All of you get back to work, now."

The segments scurried to get out of the room, a little down that they had to leave you so soon.

Changing out of his work clothes and taking off his mask, he slowly got into the spot beside you. Chuckling lightly when his thumb cleaned the drool that left your mouth.

His arm wrapped around you, sighing in content that he finally got to hold you again.

Actually, one thing that I like about this scene is that it leaves open the interpretation of Castiel’s sexuality. Saying that he likes girls doesn’t necessarily mean that he is straight. I love to see that. And disclaimer: if you prefer to think that Cas is, in fact, straight, go ahead. That’s not a problem. He is not a real person and we’re allowed to imagine and speculate things, so this is just a headcanon of mine that he might be bi/pan or just simply not straight.

Okay now to answer your question about Yoongi's feelings. The reason why he was still able to run to her (kinda) was because he was a Creator and therefore it took a while longer for the magic to overwhelm him. Sophie and Shirley got like a "magical signal" from Suzy to start their plan. They tranquilised Jelena with magic and then attempted to do the same to Yoongi, which failed big times as they both got killed by him seconds later afnadf. Then he already heard OC scream for him, but by that point he also felt the magic infilitrate his body which meant he could only really stumble to get to her while his muscles grew weaker and weaker and his eyesight got darker and darker. He was definitely scared out of his wits, mostly for OC of course but also for himself because it's been thousands of years since he last felt that helpless 🥺

Before you can worry about hitting the ground, two steady hands reach from the side. One under your knees and the other on your back. 

You’re lifted up. 

“What did I tell you?” Dottore is grumpy. This time, you don’t blame him. You too are frustrated, although less at yourself for pushing further than you can and more at the situation in general.

You sigh. “It was going so well. How can I predict when I was going to fall anyway.” You hear him huff. 

“If all fails, I can think for the both of us. Listen to me next time.”

He starts moving back towards the bed and you lay your head on his shoulder in defeat. “At least stay with me. I need you to boost my morale with cuddles.”

Dottore lays you down, carefully placing your legs to not strain them any further. “I need to write down the results of today’s session and get you some medication.”

Ngl I found this fight much more natural and believable than Nagisa and Honoka's fight over Fujipi of all people. With that one it really didn't feel like Honoka did anything wrong, while Nagisa just got mad at her over nothing (honestly I like it even worse retroactively after seeing them reuse that premise in the second movie, where it also didn't work). Here tensions were already high because something important was ruined, and Saki was already mad at Minori, so it felt much more like she accidentally took out her anger on Mai as well, and it made her come off much better than Nagisa did in the equivalent episode imo.

This episode really made me wonder if one's take on their fight would change according to your sibling situation... I'm the eldest sister in my family, and Saki's experience throughout the episode and her reaction to Minori was very relatable and understandable to me, which I think made it feel much less unreasonable than Nagisa losing it over this boring guy she doesn't even really know. I actually rather like Minori (and definitely much better than Ryouta- never disliked him or anything, but Minori is absolutely the more likeable of the two), but this episode elicited the very elder sibling feeling of eye rolling while going "oh god not this again"- I 100% got how and why Saki ended up reacting so strongly. I felt bad for Minori, but my god, did she deserve that scolding, even if not to the severity Saki went (but that's just! How it goes when you fight with your siblings sometimes!), so like, I only half agreed with Mai trying to calm things down lol.

Honestly, Mai was probably even more blameless here than Honoka, and yet... The episode still felt like it worked better despite the imbalance still being here? Idk. I think maybe it's that it did a good job of showing the girls' emotional nature, which tbf the original did too, but here I like what I saw from them better. Saki's a very emotionally open person who wears her heart on her sleeve in all aspects as opposed to Nagisa's tendency to close herself off (even to herself sometimes), and Mai is much more of a gentle, cool and calm mediator as opposed to Honoka's tendency to get heated and always trying to get involved in other people's business. It makes for a dynamic that is much less prone to becoming fraught, and when it is, it's much less likely to last- Nagisa and Honoka's fight felt like it lasted forever, but here it felt very clear to me that neither girl was going to let things drag out for long even without the battle forcing them to reconcile. Saki isn't as held up by pride as Nagisa was, and Mai has a certain gentle and natural affinity with people that Honoka lacked. I think it's part of the reason why Saki and Mai's bonded so much faster than Nagisa and Honoka in a way- both pairs of girls are on the same wavelength, but Saki and Mai's one is less likely to cause them to butt heads because of those similarities... If any of this makes even a little bit of sense at all lmao, honestly it's obviously been many many episodes since I watched Futari wa's episode 8 and I'm just going off of what I remember thinking and feeling back then- I think it might've been the better episode of the two, but honestly, this one left me with a better feeling because I wasn't upset at one of the cures after it. If Honoka's reactions to being a cure cemented her as my favorite, Nagisa's actions in this one cemented her as my least favorite. She had the bulk of the focus between the two, but I liked her much less to the point of frequent annoyance and frustration- thinking about it now, istg most of it is actually Fujipi's fault, fuck that subplot! It sucked, went nowhere, and torpedoed my opinion of Nagisa. Here's to hoping that Kazuya doesn't have the same effect (he doesn't seem to so far, and I like lovestruck Saki much better than badly-suppressing-a-crush Nagisa... but I'm a bit wary)!

Moerumba really cemented himself as an interesting character at the end of the fight when he just seemed impressed with the cures rather than frustrated. He seems like he's gonna be a lot of fun! That said his uzaina had literally nothing to do with fire except for what he added to it, which ngl I found really funny- but tbf finding plant themed objects is definitely gonna be easier than fire ones, literally what is he gonna do? Turn the sun? Heaters? Air conditioning? An oven? Wait actually I came up with more ideas than I thought I would and I actually feel like I can go on so now it just seems silly again lmao
